- “WHOAA YOU LOOK LIKE SHANKS!” He had sparkles in his eyes, I mean- he just thought you looked so cool because you were wearing a super long coat! And colorful- pants.. (Just take it as a compliment I know it’s not a compliment but it is to Luffy) shanks has horrible fashion sense

- In public, you’re literally so perfect that even marines don’t want to capture you. They’re too dumbfounded that you’re so gorgeous, their brains literally explode, and they become dumb asf just looking at you
- but- you happened to think that they’re staring at you because they think you look weird or ugly
- So you cover up most of the time, all the staring has made you even more self conscious than before. Even when people compliment you, it seemed fake even though they were telling you the truth
- Luffy noticed you got uncomfortable with all the staring so he literally started growling and hissing at them (he’s feral) and acted as your little rubber guard dog
- “hey don’t look at y/n!”
- he didn’t know that they were looking at you because you were pretty, he thought they were admiring how strong and cool you looked
- so before that, he was all proud and showing you off in public
- “Isn’t y/n cool?! Yeah shishishi~ I know!”
- “Literally no one asked.” -random civilian
- luffy beat them up, no one talks smack about his gorgeous, beautiful, awesome y/n
- one day you got the courage to tell Luffy what you’d been feeling, and asked him if he really thought you were as cool and beautiful as he said you were
- “Huh?”
- man was confused. Like what? Are you joking right now? Because it’s not a very funny joke 💀
- “What do you mean?? I thought I told you yesterday that you looked as cool as shanks?”
- luffy that’s not a compliment when it comes to clothes
- “Yeah but- are you sure? I don’t think I look that cool.”
- he was so confused, how could you not think you looked cool??? His brain wasn’t working right, it just didn’t- make sense!
- “Y/n, you’re awesome! I don’t lie like Usopp! BELIEVE ME! YOU’RE AWESOME AND COOL!”
- he started shaking you around and wrapping his arms around you about 6 times, choking you and preventing you from breathing

- it was a traumatic wake up call. Let’s just say that now you believe what Luffy says 😭
- he might not say it that often, but he thinks you’re a literal angel sent from heaven (has never said that to you because he’s a shy guy)
- but if you’re perceptive enough, you can catch him staring at you wherever, and whenever
- you could be tidying up the submarine, and he just can’t help but stare at you, his work can wait
- his eyes are blessed every time he sees you, I mean- how could you be so perfect? When you turn around to look at him, he’ll look back down at his work at the speed of light, trying to hide his red ears with his hat
- you swore you could’ve seen him staring, but whenever you ask, he just ignores you, “I don’t know what you’re talking about y/n. I’ve been working.”
- “you were staring at me.”
- “No I wasn’t.”
- “Yeah you were!”
- “Yeah because you look pretty in that shirt!”
- a silence echoed throughout the submarine, and both of your cheeks started to turn pink
- “You think I look pretty? Really??”
- man wanted to run away, but he didn’t want to make you feel bad, so he just awkwardly hid behind his hat in a cheap effort to make it seem like he wasn’t turning as red as a tomato
- “Yeah.. You’re pretty.”
- That right there is probably the biggest and most meaningful compliment you’ve ever received
- But still, even with a lot of other people saying you were pretty in public, it still felt like you just didn’t believe them
- all the staring actually made you even more self conscious, were their compliments just fake? They didn’t really mean their words?

- He almost choked on his tea, he was literally shocked that you’d ask that dumb of a question. He looked mad at you, but then quickly wiped that expression off his face

- you’d never seen law so flustered before, his cheeks were literally bright red, his ears flushed the same color
- the great surgeon of death was at a loss of words because he couldn’t express in words just how beautiful and amazing you were. But law being as red as a tomato was kinda funny 😭
- “Law… You look like a tomato..”
- “Don’t make fun of me! And don’t tell the crew.”
- sorry law, but they were watching the whole time 💀
- with the way zoro is, he’s kinda bad at giving compliments, and he’s better at insulting people (mostly sanji)
- but when he first met you, he almost dropped his beer. He was amazed at how perfect and gorgeous someone could look
- he questioned whether he had died or not because wtf you looked like an angel
- since he was drunk, he swore he could’ve seen wings and a halo on top of your head 😭
- little did he know, you’d be joining the crew, and he’d be able to spend all the time in the world with you :)
- Zoro truly did believe you were some angel, all throughout your time together, he was still confused whether or not he had died and gone straight to heaven

- zoro then paused, he had just admitted outwardly and quite loudly that you’re pretty. And bro just blamed it on you 😭

- this argument continued for a while before Nami told you two to shut the fuck up so she could get her beauty sleep :’)
- but still, did zoro really think you were that pretty?? A lot of people told you that, but it felt more meaningful coming from him
- so a little while after your argument, you went up to him and just blatantly asked him
- “Zoro, do you think I’m pretty?”
- “I literally told you that an hour ago.”
- “yeah I know but do you really think so?”
- “Y/n why tf would I say it if I didn’t mean it?”

good-feel is the developers of kirby's epic yarn, yoshi's woolly world, wario land shake it, and yoshi's crafted world! they're EXTREMELY creative and have such passionate fun lovable games!
however.. after crafted world they kinda. dropped off the face of the planet the entire switch era
recently they announced their own game and series, but only as a japan release which was unfortunate. the assumption i had was that they cut ties with nintendo
BUT NOPE APPARENTLY NOT APPARENTLY THEY MIGHT BE THE DEVS OF PEACH SHOWTIME WHOAAA
it totally makes sense too!! playing the demo the creativity and innovation really seems like good-feel! i'd be absolutely thrilled if they were back making games for nintendo!!

hi dragons! here’s some little stories about my confused lil’ pre-aspec-realization-self first watching tdp (season 2 mostly, realization for me was post s3)
when i first watched this show i immediately latched onto all the sibling relationships - especially Callum and Ezran- because the prominence and importance of familial love was everything to me. The first time I cried for the show was when Callum and Ez said goodbye in the season 2 finale.
I was still hardcore shipping romantic rayllum even though i was living for their platonic dynamic up until then. They helped me realize how much those two things can overlap and also still be completely separate, with both being equally valid, important, and fun.
I had the headcanon of Ezran and Aanya becoming best friends, growing up, neither getting married despite political pressure, and just being an awesome power duo of young monarchs having chill conversations over jelly tarts and chess, busy running their kingdoms and peacefully dismantling the cycle together <3 It was my favorite headcanon at the time and it honestly still is one of them today.
I actually first heard about the Dragon Prince through the youtube channel Overly Sarcastic Productions who coincidentally also first introduced me to the terms asexuality and aromantic, with the second channel member coming out as ace being the reason I realized my own standing on the spectrum.
And last but not least I got tumblr during the season 4 hype and you were the first blog i followed and i’ve been here ever since (ugh i have to scroll to the bottom of my following list every single day) - i saw your aspec rayllum headcanons and, still pretty fresh out of my completed ace character arc, I went (audibly) “ohhhh…”

Yes!! TDP does one of my favourite things where the first "I love you" in a series is Platonic/Familial and it's always something I appreciate. Especially between brothers tbh <33
And yes OSP!! I know both Red and Blue have some out as aspec and it makes me so happy as another myth/history obsessed aroace.
And whoaa S4 hype must've been such an interesting time to come in. I love the AMVs for TDP on your youtube channel very much! They are super well done
For my own ace story, my ace-iversary (aka the day I accepted/let it in) was November 3rd of 2018, so when it was the day that S4 was released a mind-whopping 4-5 years and Rayllum was more aspec than ever it felt like fate. (Especially when realizing I was ace was my personal floodgates to figuring out the rest of my queerness and aceness/Rayllum was the hinge upon which I got with my lovely Rayllum loving partner). Truly wild to realize that TDP's place in my life is just like, a month and half older than such a personal understanding of myself, but also kinda beautiful too <3

f. big fan of the music getting more intense i was thinking it felt a lil lackluster.
g. so like im not particaly in want of fighting since you know danger but also ol mate diegetic tutorial (loop) told me to grind to get the unfreeze time ability which seems quite helpful so uhh time to get at risk of death again!
h. big fan of the blossoming side plot between stylish lady who doesnt think she exists in mira's eyes and mira who doesnt think she exists in stylish lady's eyes
i. i have disovered a very satisfying strat for the protective big guy, being simply spam scissors and get an all out attakc since the lil guy is weak to it and it heals apparently fully which is awesome

So, this is going to be a fluff to angst (to fluff) fic! It will focus on MC/Yuu and Malleus!! Featuring the rest of Diasomnia main cast!
Also, I wrote this with a platonic relationship in mind, but if you want, this CAN be interpreted as romantic-
Also, MC is referred to as Yuu, and is gender-neutral.

“Child of man, what do you feel about the lifespans of mortals?”, Malleus asks one day.
“Huh? What’s with the sudden question, Tsunotaro?”, Yuu asks their friend.
“...”, Malleus stays quiet.
‘You will see the stars lining up again and again in your long life. And by the time the stars align again, the world must have changed a lot. And you have to accept it. Understood?’, Lilia’s voice rings in Malleus’s mind. Lilia had told Malleus this when Yuu, Rook, and Epel had gone to the Isle of Lamentation.
‘Listen, Malleus. You must never forget the pain you felt in this place today. You must carry this pain with you as you continue to live for a long time in the future’
Malleus has always understood the short lives of humans. They all have fleeting lives; to the point it almost seems like a moment until all the babies are grown up.
He remembers this feeling when he was helping Lilia take care of Silver. He remembers witnessing Silver’s first words, his first steps, everything. And, as if in a blink of an eye, Silver’s all grown up now.
‘Such is the life of man’, Malleus always reminds himself whenever he witnesses the mortality of human nature; the pain, the joys, the sorrow, the happiness humans experience.
A reason why Malleus stays away from humans, is not only because they are afraid of him (it is still one of the reasons, however). But because he doesn’t want to get attached.
Mortal lives are fleeting. They can be alive for one moment, and in the blink of an eye, everything could just... disappear.
But now...
Malleus has gotten attached to this child of man...
Too attached.
Of all people, he just had to get attached to the one from another world.
Or perhaps... that’s why he was so drawn to them?
Because they are one of the first humans who didn’t run away from him.
Yuu wasn’t scared of Malleus.
They even called him such a silly name, Tsunotaro.
Even after finding out who he was.
Malleus has always found the Ramshackle Prefect very interesting.
A magicless human, a student of one of Twisted Wonderland’s best magic schools.

Malleus looks at the bedridden Ramshackle Prefect.
What has he done...?
Why had he done it...?
There, on a bed, laid the Ramshackle Prefect. A rose in their hand, sleeping so peacefully.
If Malleus hadn’t known better, he would have thought that his friend was merely taking a nap.
...
But he does know better.
After all, he was the one who cast the sleeping spell on them.
How had it gone to this?
Ah yes, Malleus remembers now...
He had cast the sleeping spell on his friend because he had gotten too attached...
Human lives are fleeting.
Malleus didn’t want to see his only friend leave him.
The only person who wasn’t afraid of him.
So, to preserve the life and beauty of his friend, he cast a spell on them.
To sleep forever.
Now, Malleus won’t be left alone.

It has been around 50 years since the Ramshackle Prefect had gone “missing”.
Or was it 100...?
Perhaps 500??
Either way, it was quite a while.
The Ramshackle Prefect still lays in a private, hidden, room Malleus has created.
Where no one, but him, would be able to enter.
Malleus’s friend lays in a soft bed, the covers and sheets often cleaned and changed through Malleus’s magic.
Around them, laid Malleus’s other treasures.
Gold coins, trophies, medals, jewelry, gems, basically everything a man would want in life.
This room was Malleus’s treasury.
Being the now-king of the Valley of Thorns, everyone, even the royal guard and advisors, is forbidden to enter his treasury.
Lest they want to suffer a horrible consequence.
Malleus would always visit this room, at least once a day.
No matter how busy he would be.
He would visit everyday, to add more things to his treasury, and to speak to his dear friend.
Had he possibly gone mad? Yes, perhaps he has.
He knows this is wrong.
However, Malleus doesn’t care.
He’s fully aware that his friend is now dead, but he doesn’t care.
His friend is still there, with him.
They haven’t left him.
They never have.
And they never will.

It’s been... however long it has been.. since then...
It’s been around... 50 years since Lilia has died as well.
If only he hadn’t tried to intervene...
Nevertheless, Malleus continues to always visit Yuu and talk to them as if they were awake and alive.

And Malleus lays in his death bed.
He... has had lots of time to reflect.
He feels... regretful for what he has done.
‘Perhaps.. in another life... fate would be much kinder to us.’
‘In another life, we would still be together. Without either of us having to worry about the consequences of our friendship together...’
‘Neither of us would have to worry about the other’s lifespan... and we can stay together...’
‘Along with everyone else... Lilia, Silver, Sebek...’
‘I don’t want to have to see anyone I care about leave me so early...’
“In another life...”, Malleus says as he breathes his final breathe.

For some reason, Malleus felt overjoyed from receiving an invitation...
As if he never got invited to events.
This wasn’t true, as Silver, Lilia, Sebek, and Yuu would always invite Malleus.
Malleus shrugs this feeling off, and follows his childhood best friend to a small garden outside of the Draconia mansion.
“Malleus! There you are!! Over here, we were just about to start!!”
“Yuu, lower your voice. You might startle the birds. Not to mention your cat, Grim, is asleep too.”
“Oh, right. Sorry, Silver.”
“It’s alright.”
“Ahem! Anyway! Malleus, as your friends and future business partners, we all welcome you to our tea party! Thank you for coming!!”
“This isn’t a formal event, Sebek... and we’ve had Malleus over to our tea parties all the time..”
“Shush, Silver.”
Malleus smiles to himself, happy that the Great Seven have blessed him with such great friends.

Magic Stun Gun Pen making shenanigans
In his spare time, aside from practicing his swordsmanship, Tsutomu often collect several magic ingredients around NRC to test and complete his gadget, the Magic Stun Gun Pen.
The Magic Stun Gun Pen is a pen capable of releasing magic-induced needles to tranquilize (put to sleep)/paralyze enemies. It took an appearance of a harmless ballpoint, but when you push the other half of the thrust device, a needle will come out, thus enemies had little time to get away lol.
It is used as Tsutomu's last resort if he's in a situation that forced him to unable to use his katana.
The testing:
Tsutomu and Grim invited Ace and Deuce to Ramshackle Dorm.
Ace: (delightful eyes) "Whoaa!! Prefect, you made this thing? That's awesome!"
Deuce: (in awe) "To think that you're a brilliant inventor... How long did it take you to make this pen?"
Grim: "It took around 4-5 days. Not only we have to buy a pen and disassemble it, we were very careful to not make the magic go out of hand."
Tsutomu: "Finding and mixing the right ingredients were hard. It's only a prototype, tho. I don't know if this gonna work."
Ace: "Don't worry, Prefect, let me do it!"
Deuce: "Ace, why you don't step aside and have me do it instead?"
(Ace and Deuce arguing, until Tsutomu steps in.)
Tsutomu: "Why not both?"
(Ace and Deuce becoming test subject for Tsutomu's invention. Aiming their nape, Tsutomu pressed the other half of the thrusting device. Unexpectedly, the pen works! Both of Heartslabyul kids were rendered unconscious :))
(The next day, Ace and Deuce ended up 'off with your head' by Riddle lol.)

hate the genre of Content Creator who does the bare minimum of Not Being a Hateful Person and makes bland videos mocking pickup artists or incels and turns their brand into exploiting bigotry for views and is like “look at these crazy funky guys aren’t they so insane?? hating women is not good!” and people fawn over them for being slightly normal and you get women saying “i’d trust him with my drink at a party (i’m saying i dont think he'd try to rape me. this guys awesome!)” but it’s so obvious the CC are stiffly saying this supportive shit and it’s not necessarily that they don’t believe people deserve basic rights, but they’re not suited to be An Activist and they’re being pushed to be more enthusiastic about it than they really are since they don’t want any pushback but people are pretending these folks are in fact activists because they also dont want to be invested in real, meaningful, impactful political things so they’ll continue to viciously support the people who are like “hey. trans people exist. if i see you being transphobic, your pronouns are going to be was/were!!!!!!” but also they’ll slip in ableism and be able to get away with it because nobody cares about us and all their abled followers will be like “we forgive you!! you obviously are so great and perfect and Unproblematic that you could never even accidentally do anything unsavoury”, completely ignoring how it was obviously a conscious choice to do the ableist thing and they have no right to forgive someone for that type of thing and these internet personalities all flock together and live in this vague super liberal realm of being the most empty bland people who aggressively tweet like “whoaa Fascism is bad, look at that!! i used the F word! i also don’t think biden is doing enough OHH isn’t that so radical and leftist of me to say!?” and fans whose political views aren't yet fully developed because theyre so young or are just as blandly liberal think these are the greatest Left Wingers to ever grace the universe and that nobody else could be so bold as to not actively wish for genocide and it really fucking waters down what actual “leftist” beliefs are supposed to be about and they never even state hard opinions or views like theyre some kind of christian public figure who doesnt want to announce their denomination in order to avoid controversy or division and you get people excitedly calling them “““breadtube”””-adjacent because ohh isnt it so exciting that a common funnyguy can be the leader of the revolution because they watch videos on stream and mock transphobic political figures by calling them gay lovers (its okay because they are taking an anti-transphobic stance and have “bisexual energy”) and dont even directly criticise whats being said (politicial streamers won't accomplish anything anyway, but nobody here cares) but oh my god this is so important, nobody else has ever said Villain McBadman says bad things but also the online figures have edgy friends who have a history of shit like blackface and using slurs and being shitty to people but ohh oh its okay theyre a Rehabilitated Bigot, theyre totally fine now, i love them dearly so you cant criticise them, you trust my judgement you believe everything i say because im an unproblematic king, an honorary lesbian you might say, ignore how hostile they are to people who take issue with the offensive gross things they still say, which people purposely misconstrue as benign and merely Slightly Overstepping so they can collectively gaslight each other into remaining comfortable with the people theyre aware are shitty but ultimately dont care to give real consequences to and then everything makes sense when the mostly female audience is also cishet and white and abled and fully capable of producing a shitty environment where people aren't allowed to bring up real problems because ughhh youre talking about this still? that was like two months ago. stop trying to cancel people for petty reasons and stop trying to talk about issues that affect real peoples lives because this inconveniences me and now i have to find another carbon copy of this guy so i can performatively be uncomfortable with bigots and feel like i’ve accomplished a lot of morally profound things.....
i just fucking hate when people who are of marginalised groups that these youtubers, streamers, etc often defend in the most simple way aren't used to seeing people be okay with them and instead of watching videos by and supporting people who share the same marginalised experience, they want some kind of approval and the comfort of a privileged person saying “i think people like you should not be killed merely for your divergence from the established norm” and so fiercely defend them and weep all over anyone who doesnt think this is a good step toward actual support for marginalised people.
and i hate when people act like it takes a huge amount of effort or education to know what the right thing to say is, or know what nonbinary people are or know that lgbtq charities exist or say Cops Aren’t The Greatest and not fear social exclusion for being too much of a Crazy Hardcore Liberal. people can profit off of this and exploit the way people have become accustomed to others being so outwardly hateful and garner an audience theyre comfortable performing for and catering to, even if they dont feel that way in their every day life.
i hate how clearly disingenuous and forced it is when they try to appear radically inclusive and yet people are longing so strongly for acceptance that they are just okay with it and think it’s the greatest thing.
