" ...mm", Eiden quietly answers, " I've never really gotten to the point where marriage was in the cards really but it's... pretty nice. "
It takes guts, Eiden thinks. Honestly speaking he's a little envious, not that he'd divulge that out loud. He still thinks best for all the couples made and still forming.
" I'm terribly sorry, I think someone signed it wrong into the system..."
Eiden glances over for signature. In that second his face changes from confusion to perfect unimpressed understanding. Eyebrows take a dive as he sighs. It's his mistake for letting that guy write anything to the system. Eiden could wager it was on purpose...
" ...terribly sorry about that. For real. Total mistake on my part, I didn't even consider--- "
" I'll toss a free cheesecake flavoured lube on the side for compensation, how about that? "
🎔 "Hm... I see, a shame." Céline rested an elbow on the counter and offered a sympathetic smile to him. She knew well enough about catching feelings and either acting too soon or not being able to act. When she was younger she'd learned the hard way. "Married though? That is surprising. I suppose it doesn't matter where if you find the one, even if the risk is there that you may one day be parted."
Then again, she supposed that this was true anywhere. Life was fleeting and who knew when something tragic could tear two people apart. Was it any different?
She perked up a little when the issue was found. "Heehee! So it wasn't a problem with my account? That's good. It would have been a shame to go to all the effort to pick these things out just to go home empty handed."

A lightbulb is turned on.
" Wait I know... "
" Type Spiraltoot.com there ok? I'll make the search out for you. This is something I think just about anyone will love!! "
"You are so inclined to get me to use the internet," she starts off and then pulls out her cell phone.
She doesn't use it much only occasionally finding the use for it to contact people. Like Eiden for example. "Give me an example of some places I could go to on the internet for knowledge that I wouldn't find in books."

" Oh? Trying to out-polite me? " Eiden jokes before sitting down, " ah, hey bartender, can I have a two of --- "
The drink comes not long from his request, on the sweeter side to start with.
" Err... Well, I can't say I never get nervous for the contestants but I mean... it's controlled right? "
" It's definitely pretty exciting haha. I can see the charm! "
Kind of like watching wrestling? Except usually they have more clothing and there's beams or swords, maybe transformations... Kind of like watching a good action show.
" But err, what else.... y'know it's long time you were gone. I'm not sure where to start... "
"I may be old but I'm still kicking! In fact physically I'm not that much older than you." Now, don't ask him how old he was dragon years. Not many dragons got to live for as long as he did and still retain the amount of power he has!
"Thank you."
Entering the building, Romanus whistles "its really homey." It gives off the feel of relaxing for sure! "I'm surprised you'd go and check out the fights." Eiden was full of surprises though.
Romanus finds them a seat and pulls Eiden's chair out for him to sit. "I like this game of catch up. Tell me more."

Ugggh. Did he attract some sleaze now -- well, looking at him now the guy's at least handsome. The offers though - not so attractive. He must have thought he picked an easy target. He's been told he's naive, for sure but even if you forget the location anyone could see whatever's offered here is something shady.
" ....err, I don't do... "
Drugs? Eiden's not too sure on what's the first offer anyway. Hard or light he says...
" ...I'm already here on business. Nothing shady... "
Probably. Providing toys for the redlight district might be considered shady in some circles but Eiden's trying to pick the clients well. He probably should consider taking someone with him next time... like War. Maybe Sun or even Yuri. Since it seems like he attracts weirdos like this.
" You talk about me looking green and then offer to be my hitman? "
" ...but I guess I'll be playing by the expectation? I mean I'll be good and politely turn you down after all -no thanks sir. I have no such intentions sooo... Have a good rest of the evening. "
Better get away quick. With a bow Eiden dives past the guy in an attempt to make a prompt escape. He doesn't want to stay around to figure if the guy's dangerous or not.
"You look a little too green to be here bud, you sure you're in the right place?" Sampo's seen all kinds of people up and down Crimson Lane, but this guy has way too innocent of a face to even begin looking like he belongs here. Then again, what does he care? Might as well try to make a sale while he has his attention. "Or--you're looking for something to buy. Am I right? Is that it? 'Course it is!" He doesn't give Eiden much room to answer yes or no before he begins prattling off again. "So, what's your fix? Something hard, something light…or maybe you're lookin' to have someone taken care of if you catch my drift!"
"Or, or you're looking for someone to take care of you…which in that case…super weird but not unheard of! Gotta give ya points for creativity though. Might wanna look into other things than that though."

With a few prompt steps Eiden makes it to Yuuji - only to grab his cheek and give it a yank.
" Eeeh, well, no one in particular ... Some of my friends do lack the manners to knock BUT... "
" .. I was thinking like ...burglars or certain jerkface.... But it's just you huh? Welcome home!! "
Not a bone in him would be even remotely scared with Yuuji around!! From pulling the cheek Eiden goes straight for squishing before giving a tap on both and let's go. He then tilts his head as he gives Yuuji a good look and then frowns.
" ....you're looking a little different though? Or... something's off? Hmm? "
He's just about to puzzle it out...
The hallway drowned in dissonant, grating lilts, a tall-tale sign of a brilliant composer entrancing the audience with chilling chords. Yuuji traced the familiar hallway he trekked thousand of times over towards the source. A pale blue light illuminated the hallway wall, guiding all visitors towards its epicenter.
As Yuuji drew closer, a recognizable hostility pricked his skin. He approached heedlessly, curled fist leading the path. A contour stretched across the blue stretch of light until its features manifested in view.
Yuuji watched the pan drip from his brother's fingertips and clunked heavily to the ground. The uncertainty in his voice provoked uneasiness from the center of his chest. He slipped into a stream tumultuous, nauseating thoughts.
Would he notice? Did he notice the slits are gone? Did he ever truly understand their origins? What that means now?
Yuuji swallowed down the bile of overthinking and forced a smile, bending over to snag the handle of the cookware. "You'd be better off throwing the pan at your imagination..." Yuuji paused a moment and looked up to his elder sibling. Eiden was not one to get sucked into his imagination... at least not from a horror movie. His voice lowered, "Who did you think I was?"

Eiden gives her an equal amount of a deadpan stare though not quite as lasting. Fine. He'll be the guy that drank the mud tea. Maybe it is healthy as she says, Eiden doesn't know.
" ....well, thanks for looking after my health. "
She seems convinced after least.
" ...hmm, if you say so! It's good for looking small stuff though but... "
" Not like it's a must. I don't think I got my own computer until I moved out myself.... "
"I believe you will be fine." Such words came from someone with such a bland and bemused look upon her expression.
"I don't need internet." Though, she realizes that the internet is just about everywhere here. Whether she knew it or not, she was still using it in some way shape, or form.
"That's what books are for. Informations are all gathered in all sorts of books."

The demonlord's voice thunders deep in the throne room of the palace of Thousand Years of Darkness. The man still sits upon his throne as the hero arrives.
" I remember your father.... Yurificforus Yaoific. We share quite a history but... to think he was to die by my hand. I took my time with him, he deserved as much. "
Eiden can say he feels strangely nostalgic playing the role, like he's done this before. His acting experience on stage is actually fairly small consisting one role in a school play but he's fairly sure he can pull this off easy. After all he knows rpgs like his own pockets. He would complain about having to use Yuri's Halloween costume but apparently something happened for the original costume....
" I heard you took care of my henchmen.... Aster and Morvay."
Those will be only normal names you'll hear.
" you might know them as...Lord of Thornspects and Creamy Condominium."

" Ah, right there's the arena at least? I mean I haven't taken part but you know... seen fights and all. It can be pretty cool! "
Though he'd lie if he didn't sometimes get nervous for the opponents. Usually it was all controlled though.
As they arrive Eiden grabs hold of the door, pulling it with him as he steps aside to to let Ro go first.
" Seniors first? "
"OF COURSE NOT." Romanus can't help but laugh, a hand on his stomach as well. "I could never forget where my friends live." It just took a minute for him to remember was all!
Romanus happily follows Eiden, not minding that the man is the one to lead. "A fight club? I know there's one at the Crimson Lane too, but they actually made one in Archimedes huh?"

" C'mon now I've been there enough times to remember hmm? The bed's sooo comfy... "
He laughs as he starts walking.
" ....that much though I wouldn't really know. I think there's fight club bar at Archimedes now but I haven't been there", Eiden chatters, " but I do know a place around here to go so just follow me! "
"You remember," Romanus says with a light laugh. All these months and Eiden still remembers where he lives. "I think a night out drinking and relaxing sounds like a great plan. Any new places opened up?" He'll have to check on his businesses when he has the chance. Not tonight though. Tonnight is Eiden's night!

When Eiden rises his eyes from he doesn't look too happy at first. It's not Klaus but ... it's Klaus bringing it up. Either way the corners of his mouth turn up as he turns back to the clothing rack.
" Y'know Klaus... Normally people ask me that in a totally different context.... "
" But yeah. Water under bridge and all that... I've been handled rougher than that before, so don't worry ❤"
He knows Klaus is concerned but Eiden would rather not return to think about something he'd already pushed off his mind. Aurelius might be annoying but he won't let him live in inside his head at least, so he'll keep the joking tone.
" And don't worry, I'll get some new stuff for me too so this is a good time spend ehe. "

Klaus figured it was time to go through his old clothes and donate them (Which he has already) and to get some new clothes for his wardrobe. Sometimes he wonders if he's still growing even if he's probably at the age where he should have stopped.
"Your body wasn't so sore after what happened at the party, was it?"

And oh right, Internet was a new thing for her! That sure is one wild west Eiden's unsure he wants to introduce but in the end for a kid in the modern times - temporarily or not - it's a useful skill to acquire.
" ...I can help you out with internet sometime? There are guides if you want to learn though you might not want to start from the most technical end... "
She probably won't be happy to be presented Internet ABC's for kids but...
"I had read them in books." The internet wasn't a place Dam-bi checked her sources. Hell, she didn't know how that stuff worked to begin with!
She ought to learn though.
"Eiden, did you know just about anything and everything you consume is going to have something on it. Insects, feces, blood... no matter how well you clean something off, it's going to stay there."

He does dye it lighter but not that light.
" But ohhh you're right! I should try sometime ... There are so many looks you can go through in a place like game like that... I became a ghost though for that though haha... "

"I think you can visit the Intraspace and look like that again anytime you want. I was a plant person when the whole city was like that Fantasia MMO, so I've still never been anything that impressive."

Eiden doesn't take long to pick his responding card. And the one after that.... or after that. When at some point he ends up in a tight spot but casually swiping and switching one from the pile when the other isn't looking gets him out of it.
And so he climbs back up with relative ease.
" Hehee, got my ch---caaardgame skills pretty honed so don't be mad but... "
" That's an UNO baby! "
"Gah..." right off the bat, Titus has to grab a few cards from the middle, having no matches in his current hand. he's not sure what he expected-- he was notoriously not great at card games. finally, he slaps down a red three. "Don't get too comfy..."
