First doodle with Luke and Kaycee; that was my rough design for The Challenger before Jupiter helped me with finalizing a design. Bird-like helmet, spikes, two set of arms... right up the alley to make them menacing. Also giving me Chainsaw Man vibes and I love the Manga so you know how it is.
Pike being the Unkillable demon, she still bounces back no matter how many times you slice off her limbs or head. Of course, she does have to stitch her limbs back to properly regenerate n such so it's quite the hassle, still, she's a tough demon.
Lonely Wizard being a Void demon, just a fella! Can change its physical form like a shadow puppet or something. Void demons are much more powerful in dark areas- especially during the night, their main attack being psychological warfare.
Goobert being a Punished Soul- a type of demon who used to be human, died, and reborn in the demon realm yet suffers unending punishment. Punished Souls have no memory of their human lives or what they did to deserve this so that their suffering worsens. In Goobert's case, a body made out of Goo that eats flesh. Corrosive Goo, yeah, the moment it touches anything or anyone with flesh, it starts eating through it until it reaches the bone.
Melter also being a punished soul is stuck in a body that's constantly on fire, having to wear an armor designed just for him so that he can walk around, talk, and just do other things. The pain doesn't stop- nor do the flames. At least the armor lessens the pain in a way and keeps Melter from accidentally burning people near him.
Inspector being a three-eyed demon, his third eye being able to see things that no one else can see through the naked eye(in terms for both demon and human). He's quite bug-like due to the extra pair of arms, focused on multi tasking. He has a human disguise as well and a human name; "Ivan".
Last one is the Challenger just- going through the front door Omni-Man style. Also Spooky's banner haha Spooky if you're reading this hiii!!
It was originally planned that Caroll Spinney as Big Bird would fly on the Space Shuttle Challenger, but due to the size of the puppet, this was impossible to do.
There were also plans to have Big Bird's teddy bear, Radar, on the flight. However, that was abandoned in favor of having teacher Christa McAuliffe join the mission that would end with the destruction of the Challenger.

WHOA. This note from the Doctor Who wiki is wild: "The story depicts an American spaceship being lost with all hands in the year 1986. By a spooky coincidence, in the real-world year of 1986, the United States actually would lose one of their spacecraft with all hands via the mid-takeoff explosion of the Space Shuttle Challenger."

A lot of Chainsaw Man references, yeah, especially the last one. Anyways!
First comic is Angler's ability to summon the Shark Demon, throwing in special bait onto his victims. Angler and the Shark Demon are best buds.
Second comic is Pike- the Unkillable Demon fighting the Challenger. As said in the last post that explains her ability as the Unkillable Demon- even if her limbs are sliced off and such, she can't die. She'll always bounce back, even using her own head as a bowling ball.
Last comic heavily references Chainsaw Man and its quite silly. The Challenger, holding Luke hostage, stops by to grab a happy meal. Hell ensues.
when u go to write a mentally ill person in ur story you are presented two options. the first option is to write your mental illness realistically as you actually experience it with all the ups and downs and people who are like you will resonate with it and feel seen. except every person who reads instagram infographics on mental health that uses the phrase narcicisst for anyone who does anything that crosses them and unironically call themself a dark empath will call you scary and tell you that youre demonizing mentally ill people
the second option is to lie and write inspiration porn for those people to get hard to
I'm sorry if you're tired of thinking about ofmd and that whole mess but goddamn... it's incredibly painful to see so many people trying to set up fundraisers to get their families out of gaza and the sudan and desperately trying to get their loved ones to safety, I've seen so many and everyday I check to see how much progress they've made, most of them still haven't hit their goal. It hurts to see people rally around a tv show and raise all this money for a billboard, and it's very frustrating to see how people have reacted to this criticism. Like bro tv shows get canceled sometimes there's more important stuff going on
Someone else said it better but to see a fundraiser for tv show renewal advertisements raise $20,000 in less than a day while it takes days/weeks/months/years/never for fundraisers for actual causes that help real people in need reach a goal of less is absolutely dystopian and shameful
"haha these alpha trad men really just have dom/sub kinks!" i know misogyny isn't real to a lot of you guys but did you know that some people just actually do genuinely think women are inferior creatures
