like . guy hated by rich parents is so gay coded but in some cases its just REALLY trans coded. i think in general its just queer vibes or maybe neurodivergent in a very very specific way .

but like. the way gaming is with his dad, especially their interactions towards the end. his dad saying "youre a good kid" . not son. kid. that reeks of a parent who still hasnt 'let go' of their kids assigned gender but is trying. the vibes. the energy. is just. its so.

Cg!Mitsuru and Little!Nazuna Headcannons 'w'

-MITSURU IS A FLIP little lean but he loves. taking care of Nazuna, acts like his big brother

-Nazuna's little age is likeee 3-7 methinks

-Mitsuru is far from the most experienced caregiver out there and often has help but insists that he can take care of Nazuna himself (and he will do it, especially if you challenge him)

-Nauzna tends to get random cases of the zoomies (guess who he learned that from) and Mitsuru is one of the few people who can catch him but it sometimes just turns into a game of tag

- Mitsuur has LIKE A BUNCH of nicknames for Nazuna, one of them is lightning mcqueen. Nazuna usually just calls him big bro

-He bought him a lightning mcqueen costume like this and thought it was the funniest thing ever TEHY TOOK SO MANY PICTURES

-Mitsuru likes carrying Nazuna around, he's like, pocket sized compared to him (NOT REALLY BUT YK!!

-He to be like a robot if he's on his back and Nazu tells him where to go

-They're like evangelion /J

-Good at nonverbal communication with eachother, sometimes, Mitsuru can be airheaded at times BUT he grasps it quickly,, it's all about recognizing the pattern (i sound like a scientist)

-Sometimes it seems like there would need to be another person babysitting because it seems more like a playdate when it's Mitsuru with Nazuna

-If Nazuna is ever sad or upset about something, Mitsu will try his best to help by making him laugh or comforting him (or both!). Sometimes he gets a little bit worried or stressed due to not knowing what to do but it all turns out in the end!

-Nazu sometimes picks up alot of Mitsuru's traits when he's little

-When Nazuna's not little, he can have a bit of a foul mouth unintentionally and sometimes swears when he's little either out of frustration or for any other reason, so there's a strict rule on no swearing (he gets away with it sometimes)

-When it comes to bedtime, Nazuna isn't usually too bad with it and sometimes passes out while playing (on occasion both Mitsuru and Nazuna will fall asleep) but if the both of them are togetherand awake, then getting Nazu to sleep can be more difficult so they often just sleep together!

-They read stories together! Sometimes it's Nazuna reading outloud to Mitsuru just cause he wants but other times (or if he's sleepy) then Mitsuru will read to Nazuna

-THEY TAKE ALOT OF SILLY PICTURES TOGETHER, Mitsuru has an album on his phone just for it and downloaded snap just for the filters. It's very entertaining to them methinks

-Half of them are just Nazuna in a blue pikmin costume. There's enough pictures to make a stop motion film

-Mitsuru would sometimes call him tiny just to "ruffle his feathers" and it works but once Nazuna calmly (and lightly) hit him on the stomach and while it didn't hurt, he took it as a warning

-SOMETIMES MITSURU WILL HOLD NAZU UP LIKE SIMBA

-ONCE he did that at the beach and then threw Nazuna in the water (he was okay and asked to do it again)

-When Mitsuru first found about Nazuna being and age regressor he was like really curious but was eventually like "OHH So it's like I'm Niichans Niichan?"

-They get up to nonspecific mischief together

-they're so silly please LIKE THEY'RE LIKE THE FNAF SB DAYCARE THEME

maybe i can formulate my thoughts better. basically, brother here is a suggestion: interact with a story outside of a shipping/ “which character do I find most attractive” lens at least a little bit sometimes and you will find a plethora of enjoyment like a hog digging up a stash of truffles. does that help

Lost

This is not exactly whump, but y'know we gotta do that good old Kai backstory development for wij 😂 just a bit of Kai being metaphorically lost, I guess. Warnings for implied government/military violence and alcohol ig lol this one is quite tame.

This was dangerous, they knew. More so now than ever, with the endless background checks and random surveillance to prove their loyalty before they are allowed to join the military. But they were careful, and they hadn't seen most of these friends for three years, had barely even had any contact with them for their safety, and it was only going to get more difficult in the future, with the decision they just made. This was going to be goodbye, with some of those friends. They couldn't understand their decision, and really, if they asked themself, they weren't sure what they were thinking either.

"So..." Someone turned to them, downing a shot of liquor before they continued. They've known her since they started first grade, and back when protests were still legal, they had gone to many together. "Do you... know what you're doing? With this?"

It was an awkward conversation, no one quite knew what to say, and most of the questions anyone thought to ask trailed off, vague whenever it came to asking about the future. Kai sighed. "I don't, man. I'll be honest, I don't." They knocked back the drink in their hand, making a face. "I don't know what the future holds, I'm just gonna have to take it one step at a time. I mean, I'll just be doing... research, right? And I'll help others fight, wherever I can. What else can I even do?"

They weren't going to say it out loud here, but as much as they believed in the necessity of violent resistance sometimes, it seemed hopeless for some young people with guns to go against the military that has had decades to solidify their power even before the coup. Things were getting worse now, and looking around the room, they couldn't help but wonder how many of their friends would be dead within the next year or two if they insisted on fighting. They would be safer if they kept their heads down, didn't start trouble, but they knew that would change. Not fighting back only delays the danger, and when they come for you, it'll be too late to fight. They just had to figure out what fighting meant for themself.

They all sat on the floor in silence until the bottles of alcohol everyone brought ran empty. Kai could feel the judgement hanging heavily in the air even if everyone tried to hide it, and they couldn't argue that they didn't deserve it. When they walked out of the safe house into the cold night air, someone put a hand on their shoulder, and after all these years, they couldn't remember who it was. "Find your way home safe," They said. They were back in their country now after years of trying to run, but that night and for many more after it, they weren't sure how to find the home they left behind again.
