Prisms of rainbows and light shining through the cracks in my heart, mind & life.

My mental space was clouded, filled with turmoil and confusion.. but I seem to be seeing more clearly now.

Honesty has gotten me here. The days of isolation & self reflection were a must.

Many hours & days of reflection and choice.

Choices to be bitter or better.

Gratitude, & thankfulness.

A flow of constant love & peace that comes straight from Gods spirit is within our reach at all times.

The genuine laughter is springs of fresh water for my tired soul.

Doors opening because of acceptance, realizing how far Gods Grace has really gotten me.

I am safe.

I am held.

In spirits presence I am free to be. Simplicity is a gift, But we have to choose to receive it. Minds are resilient. They will believe everything we tell them.. our minds will go crazy and obsess over the smallest most insignificant things...

Minds can & will also grow, they will heal. Minds can & will learn to recover.

Hearts will feel alive.

This is my wish for the world.

One day at a time.

One MOMENT. A SECOND, at a time.

That’s where the momentum starts. We didn’t come this far, to just come this far.

So continuing to fight is what we must do. But not fighting alone. Fighting with prayer, with belief and trust that God and only God can make the wrong things right in our lives.

After all- he is everything, or he is nothing. Choices.

We make them.

Choose wisely. ❤️ 🫶

"I'll post another snip tomorrow". And then I didn't lol. But I DID hit the 10k marker for the WIP! (not counting the...11k in notes. Look I've had a...week..... Oh my god this WIP is only a week old...) In celebration, have a more amusing excerpt this time! Dialogue my beloved.

The smirk miraculously returned. “You will believe many things you never imagined if you are able to remain here long enough. And if anything is to be gained from this conversation, let it be the lesson to watch your tone among the sacred animals, as I seem to have never learned.”

This time I cocked my head. “Right...and what are the sacred animals?”

He looked startled by that. “The birds created in His image, of course. You met one upon your arrival. That ghastly beast with an attitude that bullied me into guiding you upstairs.”

A beat of confusion, then understanding. “Oh! You mean that beautiful—”

“Slander!” croaked a voice from above. The old man swore and spun around, and we both noticed a large raven perched above us beside a venting window. “Another week!”

“Oh, you bastardly little snitch,” the old man growled under his breath, wincing when the bird began to jump about, grating voice breaking into a strange, unearthly cackle.

“Two!” it cheered, then leapt from its perch, honking with apparent delight as it spiraled overhead against the high ceiling.

Suddenly I was relieved that I’d been polite to the golden bird.

“Is that...a common punishment?” I asked. “To be given a duty you dislike?”

The old man turned to me with a scowl. “What? Oh. I suppose it’s common enough. You’re just as likely to be fed to the little beasties for your crime, however, so I don’t advise testing your luck. He’s capricious, our Burning One.”

“Three!” the raven cried gleefully.

“There was nothing slanderous about that and you know it, bird!”

There's a really common belief that "you need pain to appreciate pleasure; dark to appreciate light," etc etc.

During an online live session with the directors of the Foundation for Inner Peace, this notion was brought up by a viewer. One of the directors (couldn't find his name) decided to ask about it, so he closed his eyes and went quiet for a moment.

He reported, "Isn’t God's peace enough?"

Think of it: There's no point at which you're at peace and joyful when you think, "Boy, I'm tired of feeling good. I want to feel terror, anger, and shame again." Of course not!

Peace does not feel peaceful because of the presence of conflict, past or present; only the absence of it. Peace comes when conflict is erased from both. There's no value in it.

#floriography notes!!#the flowers at the edge of the bridge are japanese primrose #which i used as a representative of chastity and first love!!#and in the clearing is lavender! which i used in the context of both western floriography and hanakotoba #in western floriography it can represent serenity #and then in hanakotoba it can mean faithfulness!#(can also mean distrust #if you're interested in the angst)#cherry blossom trees mean life and death #and beauty (of the heart) and violence #which isn't super related? but can still be applicable #sakura blossoms themselves can mean spiritual beauty which is really similar to the meaning of the tree but i wanted to mention it because #i used cherry blossoms for susato's hair piece #one of them is just a darker pink #but the other is white #and white flowers as a whole generally mean grief or hope or purity/innocence #(the purity bit doesn't so much fit unless you're looking at it like it was a foil)#susato mikotoba #ace attorney #nikolina pavlova #nikosusa #the great ace attorney #dai gyakuten saiban #my art
