long distance | mapi leon x reader x ingrid engen
inspired by a prompt i got a while ago asking for a touch starved and anxious reader who’s been away from mapi and ingrid for a while and needs a reminder just how much the love her
no warnings just fluff n angst
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There were a lot of pros of being a professional athlete. There were also a lot of negatives. Travelling fits into both categories, a lot of people would argue that travelling as a part of your job is awesome, especially when you're getting paid to. You agreed, travelling across the world to play soccer was pretty fucking awesome, getting to experience new cultures and different cuisine was one of your favourite parts of your job.
But being in a different country to your girlfriend for half of the year was pretty hard. Especially when you were a whole ocean away from each other.
Normally, you managed just fine, sure it messed with you a little bit but you managed, normally you’d get to see them every month or so with international breaks and weekends off, but it had been two months since you’d seen your other halves, and it had been starting to get to you.
A month was typically your threshold, so a two month stretch was a lot for you, especially with the busy Arsenal schedule that had you playing sometimes two games a week and training every other day you were being laid out thin, and it was starting to get to you. You started to get needy in the absence of Mapi and Ingrid, a weird mixture of distanced but also uncharacteristically clingy. You were grumpy, your typically never ending patience finding the end of its fuse.
Specifically you wouldn’t let Kim or Katie out of your sight, constantly attached at the hip to your teammates. You were aware it was annoying, and particularly problematic when you were a mixture of tired, hungry and touch deprived, that was when you were at your crabbiest.
You suspected someone had told on you, considering the rather lengthy text messages you’d been receiving from both Ingrid and Mapi expressing their worries about you, and letting you know that it was okay to feel a bit alone and that if you ever needed anything they were there. Not to say that you didn’t already know that, you trusted your girlfriends more than anybody, but it seemed that the longer you were away from them the more you seemed to feel like you were a burden to your girlfriends.
It was really fucking hard being the one who was always away, because you felt like you were always compensating for lost time. Mapi and Ingrid were always together, whereas you didn’t have that, you didn’t have the connection that they had on a daily basis, so every time you returned home to Barca, you felt like you had to strengthen that bond, that you had to work harder to make up for the lost time.
When the time finally did come around where there was an International break period you were a mixture of ecstatic and anxious. The final week in England had been a major struggle for you, to the point where Katie had to stay the week at your apartment because everyone was worried about you. You weren’t sleeping, or really taking care of yourself, too consumed by the ticking down days that were slowly getting you closer to the day of seeing your significant others.
You’d been dodging their calls as much as you could, you weren’t quite sure why but everything seemed harder when you were away from them, and seeing their faces was just the cherry on top.
It’s like when you get in the shower and you think the water is too hot but for some reason you don’t feel it. You just see the steam rising from your red skin and subconsciously you realise that it’s hurting you more to look at, so you take your eyes away and focus on the steam on the window and just go about your shower like nothings wrong.
Or at least that was what it felt like for you, like the more you saw and thought about Ingrid being together the more it actually hurt you, so you pushed it away for as long as your body could manage it.
When the day ticked over for Kim to take you to Heathrow you were at the end of your manageable threshold. You were tired and so deprived of everything that your whole life felt like an anxiously numb cloud that you were slowly drifting away on. Kim tried to talk to you, she even walked through the security with you and took you all the way to the gate like a six year old, you didn’t have to in you to protest and you got the vibe that if you did you would just end up with a really long and intricate lecture from Kim, which you couldn’t be bothered with, you were tired enough as it was.
You were just glad that the flights to Barcelona weren’t too long, so you could put on whatever shitty movie that had just come out and sit back and relax and ignore the fact that you were three hours away from being face to face with your girlfriends.
All you wanted to do was get there and makeup for lost time, go out to dinner, or do something that was the norm. You needed something normal, something just to make you feel like you weren’t a burden or a problem for your lovers.
When the plane did touch down you felt a surge of anxiety course through your veins, your body was too tired to even really feel it though, you could feel yourself forcing your body through the motions, picking up your bag from the luggage claim and the walking out into the Barca sun, trying to find a cab to take you to Ingrid and Mapi’s apartment.
You knew you could have asked them to pick you up from the airport, but you felt so wrong in doing so, like it was even more trouble to ask them to go out of their way to come and collect you. So you sat in the back of an uber, your knee anxiously jumping up and down as the car slowly winded through the different Barcelona streets, with every single kilometre driven slowly reeling you in closer to your final destination.
You’d never missed anybody more in your life than you had them. When you were away, there was an empty, Mapi and Ingrid shaped hole in your heart. Nothing or nobody would ever come close to filling it, and when you were away you were certain that it might never feel whole again. You felt like you were going to be sick, like everything was riding on you being okay and this interaction being okay. What if they thought you’d changed? Two months was a long time, and sure, the three of you had been dating for nearly two years, but that didn’t make it any easier. Your hands were absentmindedly toying with the rings on your fingers, silently twisting them as you pondered what your next interaction was doing to look like.
You were so busy thinking and playing with your rings that you didn’t even realise the car had pulled up to the front of the complex, until the uber driver was turning back to look at you and signalling for you to leave his car, so you did, you picked up your bag and your stomach, which you felt was about to fall out of your mouth and walked forwards into the lobby of the apartments and straight towards the elevator. You were genuinely worried about throwing up your stomach, it felt like all of your internal organs were crammed in your throat and it was seriously affecting your brain's ability to think and your ability to breathe.
You managed to make your way to the doorstep of the apartment, and managed to raise your fist high enough to knock on the door. You had a key, but you didn’t want to break in, not without warning.
You waited a few seconds, before you were rewarded with the sight of Mapi opening the door, her eyebrows shooting up as soon as she realised that you were standing in front of her.
“Princesse, come in!”
Mapi’s face lit up immediately, and it did wonders in easing your stomach and easing up the deep frown that had become so familiar to your face recently.
You allowed Mapi to usher you into the apartment, into the kitchen where Ingrid was sitting, her eyes lighting up similarly to Mapi’s when she noticed who had entered the apartment.
“Elskling! You’re here?”
You’d thought that you’d texted one of the women to let them know about your flights, but you weren’t sure, in hindsight you probably should have looked into that.
“Yeah I’m here, sorry if I’m disturbing anything, I thought I texted one of you.”
Ingrid stood up from her spot sitting at the island bench, a bright smile on her face as she got closer to you.
“Not at all, we were just about to head out and get lunch and maybe go to the beach for some recovery, but spending the rest of the day with you sounds like a pretty good plan to me, Maria min?”
You felt your throat close up, you were stepping on their plans, something that you most definitely didn’t want to do.
“If you had plans then we can do them, I’ve had a coffee so I’m feeling great and i don’t want to ruin your plans.”
Ingrid just shook her head at you.
“Nonsense, we’ll stay in for the day.”
It sat wrong with you, knowing that you were potentially wrecking their planned day.
“No, I seriously don’t want to wreck any plans, I feel up to it.”
Ingrid’s big smile turned into a little frown, as she finally broke the barrier between the three of you, her hand reaching out to your flustered face and brushing a piece of hair out of your eyes.
“Elskling, in the nicest way possible, you look wrecked, how about we get into some pjs and hop into bed? You look like you're due to catch up on some sleep.”
There was little fight left in your body to disagree with Ingrid, the Norwegians' deep frown of concern working wonders at bringing down your barriers.
“Ingrid I feel fine, I seriously don’t want to ruin your guys’ plans or be a burden, let’s just do whatever y’all had planned, I feel fine.”
Ingrid let go of a deep exhale, her lungs deflating as she looked you up and down, Mapi mirroring her concerned look from behind you.
“Bebita, Kim told us that you haven’t been sleeping, that you’ve been struggling, let’s just go to bed, yeah?”
You noticed the way that Ingrid’s hand snaked it’s way down from your face to your waist, pulling your body closer to her own, craving the contact that she was providing, and the skin on skin slowly pulling the refusal out from your body. You felt yourself flinch away from Ingrid’s touch slightly, your body so shocked by the unfamiliar contact.
“Baby?”
You could hear the hesitance in Ingrid’s voice.
“I’m sorry, fuck, I’m so sorry, I’m just not used to this, it’s been a long time, I forgot what it felt like to be in your arms.”
As soon as the words were leaving your mouth Ingrid’s arms secured around you tightly, like she was never going to let go. You could feel tears pooling in your eyes, the strength that you’d been holding up for so long just by the feeling of Ingrid’s thumb massaging against your hip bone.
“Never apologise Elskling, let’s get you to bed, hm?”
You didn’t even try to protest as Ingrid led you towards the bedroom, Mapi already in the bed waiting for you. Ingrid helped you onto the bed, before handing you over into Mapi’s arms, your body falling limp against hers as it absorbed the touch it had been desperate for.
“Hiya hermosa, it’s okay, we’ve got you, you're safe here.”
You felt the pooled up tears start to fall down your face, the warm water leaking down your face like a dripping faucet, steadily creating a little reservoir of water at the base of your chin.
“Oh bebita, it’s okay, I’ve got you, I’m here, what’s wrong?”
For you it felt like the whole world was wrong, like it was upside down and topsy turvy.
“You guys just love me too much, I’m so much trouble and you never get to see me and every time I am here I’m tired and a burden.”
Your speech was like word vomit, all of your insecurities just coming out in one go.
“Oh elskling, you’re not trouble at all. There is nothing Ingrid and I would rather do than sit around and look after you. God knows you need it after being in London for so long, you should have told us you were struggling, we would have come and visited you, even if it was just for a day. It’s human for you to need this, to need us. We love you whether you're tired or not, we couldn’t care less if our time together is spent going out or sitting in bed all day, as long as it’s with you elskling then that’s what matters the most.”
Mapi’s words only spurred your tears on, sending them ricocheting down your face.
“Oh bebita, it’s okay, Ingrid and I are here now, you're back where you should be.”
Mapi’s arms tightened around your body, bringing your head into her chest. Ingrid slid into the bed beside the two of you, a drink bottle and some paracetamol.
“Hey bebita, can you just drink some of this for me before you rest please, we don’t want you getting dehydrated.”
You didn’t want to, but you also didn’t have the energy to push it, so you took the bottle from Ingrid and took a tentative sip.
“More please elskling, at least a few more sips.”
You pulled your head from Mapi’s head, taking the offered pain relief and downing it with the sips that you took from the bottle. After downing a decent amount of the fluids you handed the bottle back to Ingrid, who placed it down on the bedside table before wrapping her own arms around you and embracing both Mapi and yourself.
You felt so safe with them, so secure, like every single insecurity or problem that you’d been dealing with in the last two months didn’t matter now, because you were in their arms, you were with them.
As you slowly drifted off to sleep you felt more at peace then you ever had, or more at peace then you’d ever felt in London, for whatever reason, when you were with the Spaniard and Norwegian every single external noise just went quiet, the world was peaceful, and they were the reason why.
Your happiness, your positive feelings all revolved around them, they were the sun and you were earth, just orbiting them and bathing in whatever sunlight that you could find.

Riddle Rosehearts
Favorite Country/City: He would love to go visit Stratford-Upon-Avon in England, as he is one to enjoy being in the city of one of the most famous playwrights and authors in history: William Shakespeare. Also, there is tea available at most shops, so he will still be able to follow the Queen of Hearts’ rules.
Favorite Cuisine/Dish: Again, his favorite dish is strawberry tarts, and they apparently originate in France as tarts were used to showcase the seasonal not-berries. That aside, he also does appreciate French cuisine as a whole.
Favorite Drink: Again, he enjoys tea, but I think he would like strawberry lemonade. More specifically, the strawberry lemonade from those restaurants that put those slices of strawberries into the drink.
Favorite Souvenir: A small Shakespeare bust that he can place on a bookshelf as a book holder.
Favorite Singers/Songs: He absolutely loves classical music, specifically from the Classical Era. He prefers the classics: Bach, Beethoven, Marianna Martines, etc. Favorite song would be Für Elise, by Ludwig van Beethoven.
Favorite Movie: The Phantom of the Opera, but the 1927 silent film version.
Tumblr media
Ruggie Bucchi
Favorite Country/City: I originally was going to say that he would have liked Luxembourg because it’s one of the richest countries in the world, but I decided that would be too easy. I feel like he would love to go to Cairo in Egypt. It’s very rich in history and culture, and I’ve heard they have good food (someone confirm, plz).
Favorite Cuisine/Dish: His favorite food is donuts, and I looked it up and they apparently originate from either Ancient Greece/Rome or Medieval Arab chefs. That being said, either cuisines (Greek, Italian, or Middle Eastern) would be his favorite. He has a very diverse palate.
Favorite Drink: Depending on if he prefers coffee or tea, he would like either Mazboot or even Zjada coffee, or karkade (please correct me on any of this, I am not from the Middle East and have never been so if it’s incorrect you can tell me. Got this info from online).
Favorite Souvenir: A small, handmade pot that he found at one of the markets. He thought it looked interesting and thus purchased it. The vendor was really kind as well.
Favorite Singers/Songs: This is kind of hard, but AMERICAN HORROR SHOW by SNOW WIFE would be his favorite, meaning hyperpop would be his favorite genre. He gives me TikTok boy vibes for some reason, and he would also like most songs that popped up on his FYP.
Favorite Movie: Lion King, and I’m not trying to be funny. He just likes the “It’s not funny, Ed”, where Ed erupts even more into laughter. It makes him snicker a bit as well. Maybe I was trying to be funny.
Tumblr media
Azul Ashengrotto
Favorite Country/City: He would love the township of Cavendish in Prince Edward Island, Canada. It’s got the ocean, it’s got the small town vibes, and it inspired L.M. Montgomery’s fictional town of Avonlea in Anne of Green Gables. Speaking of, he would totally resonate with Anne because they both entered a society that they weren’t knowledgeable of the norms of.
Favorite Cuisine/Dish: Because he loves fried chicken, I would say his favorite cuisine is that of the Southern United States. You can’t go wrong with coleslaw, cornbread, green beans, mashed potatoes, and Southern hospitality.
Favorite Drink: Iced Tea, specifically from the Southern states as well. If we’re talking about cocktails, then Long Island Iced Tea would be his go-to. However, he prefers to drink at home because he doesn’t have to call anyone to pick him up.
Favorite Souvenir: It’s stated that he likes collecting coins, so yeah.
Favorite Singers/Songs: This man loves Elvis Presley’s music, and no one can fight me on this. He’s a bit of a hopeless romantic, so he loves either Heartbreak Hotel or Can’t Help Falling in Love is his favorite song.
Favorite Movie: Romeo and Juliet, the one starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The movie’s great, the actor not so much. He’s a bit of a hopeless romantic, as I stated before, so he would very much like a Romeo to his Juliet. Mans wants to be in a tower with a window sill and he wants someone to be standing below to talk to in a romantic way.
Tumblr media
Jade Leech
Favorite Country/City: He loved going scuba diving in the Mariana Trench, and since the Trench is located between Hawaii and the Philippines, I think he would love staying in the Philippines. The city he favors would be Boracay, even though it’s in the middle of the Philippine Islands and a bit further from the East.
Favorite Cuisine/Dish: His favorite dish is octopus carpaccio, and it’s kind of obvious that it’s Italian. He does enjoy Italian cuisine as a whole as well. However, if we are taking the octopus components of the dish, then I believe he would also be a lover of Japanese cuisine.
Favorite Drink: It is recommended that with octopus carpaccio, you should have a Pinot noir, and he agrees. However, if he’s just going to a bar, he would order a limoncello spritz. It’s typically a post-dinner drink, and he likes the lemon flavor along with the kind-of-like-soda, kind-of-like-wine game that the drink offers him.
Favorite Souvenir: He loves smaller, easily portable trinkets, so as basic as it is he loves collecting keychains and magnets. His favorite keychain is a shell that had a hole in it, and a small child actually handed it to him out of nowhere. He got a ring and attached it to his backpack.
Favorite Singers/Songs: His favorite song is 24 / 7 / 365, by Surfaces. It’s laidback, it’s chill, and he likes it. Songs that remind him of the beach are ones that he likes. He plays it when he’s attending to his terrariums.
Favorite Movie: Jaws, and none of the sequels. All the sequels suck. He has watched the first Jaws so many times that he sings along with Quint when he starts singing “Farewell and Adieu You Fair Spanish Ladies”.
Tumblr media
Floyd Leech
Favorite Country/City: He wants to go places where he can do things whenever it strikes him. He would also want to go somewhere with clear water. Thus, I believe he would love to go to Tahiti. There’s a market, he can go scuba diving with whales and sharks, he can go surfing, he can go to the museum, and if he wants to stay in his hotel room then he can.
Favorite Cuisine/Dish: His favorite dish is Takoyaki, so I think it’s safe to assume that he likes Japanese cuisine. However, it is stated that shiitake mushrooms come from mountainous regions in China, Japan, Indonesia, and Taiwan, so he likes any dishes without the mentioned mushrooms.
Favorite Drink: As funny as it is, Sex on the Beach, as it’s a summer drink that he loves to enjoy on the beach. Also, he has the emotional maturity of a 7th grade boy, and the name was hilarious to him.
Favorite Souvenir: Two little figurines of a guy and a girl dancing with each other. They fit together in a way that was complex, making it a puzzle of sorts.
Favorite Singers/Songs: Either Laffy Taffy or Sneaky Link 2.0 are his favorite songs. This man is searching for his Mrs. Bubblegum. He is looking to be somebody’s sneaky link. He lives for drama, and no one can tell me otherwise.
Favorite Movie: The Meg, because who doesn’t love a giant, prehistoric shark that escapes from the gaseous layer at the bottom of the Mariana Trench? He has sharp teeth like the megalodon, and he likes the jumpscare where the shark jumps up.
Tumblr media
Kalim Al-Asim
Favorite Country/City: He loves tropical areas, but he loved the Bahamas and the capital of Nassau the most. The resort there was great, and the people were very friendly. It was a laid back time, and it was not even a five minute walk to the beach. Plus, coconuts grow there apparently (correct me if I’m wrong), and coconut juice is his favorite food.
Favorite Cuisine/Dish: A lot of Thai food, specifically the desserts, use the flesh of the coconut, so I think I have substantial evidence to say that he does like Thai food. He would be very hesitant to try Thai curry, though… unless he had somebody to try it with him.
Favorite Drink: Piña Colada, doesn’t matter if it’s virgin or not. He loves the song that accompanies it as well. Anyways, the drink is a very fruit-filled drink. He thinks it’s the right amount of sweetness, so he loves to enjoy it.
Favorite Souvenir: A singular photograph, as he somehow found himself involved in a volunteer program and he took a picture with children from one of the villages he was volunteering at.
Favorite Singers/Songs: He also likes songs that remind him of the beach, and I stated that he probably likes the song Escape (The Piña Colada Song), but it’s not his favorite. His favorite song would be Celebration, by Maffio, Farruko, and Akon (feat. Ky-Mani Marley).
Favorite Movie: I have a feeling that he would love the movie Shrek. It’s funny, a lot of memes have been made from all the movies, all the sequels are great. What’s not to love about the movie(s)?
Tumblr media
Jamil Viper
Favorite Country/City: He gives me a vibe that I resonate with on the historical front, so I would think he would like to visit somewhere in the Middle East, as that is where ancient Mesopotamia was. Specifically, he would love to visit Ur, in Iraq. Not only is it located in a desert (familiar territory), but it’s one of (if not the) first cities in the world.
Favorite Cuisine/Dish: Unlike Kalim, he loves curry, so that gives me reason to believe that he would enjoy Indian cuisine the most. Syrian food comes in second for him (I spend a lot of time at my friend’s Syrian house and they make good food… I’m hungry now).
Favorite Drink: This was difficult, but I feel like he would move towards margaritas, and not just because of the song. Because curry can be spicy, I would say he likes a spicy margarita as well. His favorite non-alcoholic drink would be a mangonada.
Favorite Souvenir: All the books he picked up to learn different languages. He learned along the way as well, and all of the books have annotations within them so he has them for future reference.
Favorite Singers/Songs: He likes breakdancing, so he likes any song he can breakdance to. I am not very involved within this genre of music, so after doing some research I have come to the conclusion that he would love the song The Witch, by the Bamboos.
Favorite Movie: Footloose, as it’s a movie about dancing and rock music being banned. He saw it because it looked interesting, and he learned the Footloose dance. Also, the song Holdin’ Out For a Hero makes him feel like he wants to be someone’s hero.
Tumblr media
Silver
Favorite Country/City: Carrickfergus, as it holds the Carrickfergus Castle. It may be a Norman castle, but it’s because of the history (and the fact that he may be based off of both the Princess and the Prince and thus deserves a castle {personal opinion}) that he enjoys his time in the town.
Favorite Cuisine/Dish: This is the first time I’ve actually dove into investigating Silver’s likes and dislikes, and apparently he likes mushroom risotto, which is thought to originate from the Italian region of Lombardy.
Favorite Drink: He strikes me as the type to like wine, and not the bitter stuff. He likes sweeter wines, especially white wines as they pair nicely with the risotto he loves.
Favorite Souvenir: A journal, in which he writes about his many journeys around the world.
Favorite Singers/Songs: I think he is a Swiftie. That being said, his favorite song would be Love Story, as he is looking for his Juliet. However, he is not one of those over-excited fans who will tear someone up for saying they don’t like Taylor Swift’s songs. He will just judge them quietly.
Favorite Movie: Gladiator, partially for the plot, partially for Russel Crowe. It reminds him of the training he had to go through as a knight.

modern-ish things I would like to show dishonored characters
I got inspired by this lovely post by @dogg-teethh and kinda made my own thing but with dishonored protagonists and some side characters so, low and behold
Daud
blues music in general, he would enjoy brooding while listening, and Fleetwood Mac
thriller movies, can't abide the mysteries so would be glued to the screen until the very end. would get mad if it ends on unexplainable cliffhanger
radio dramas, something to fill the silence while doing paperwork
antidepressants, no comments
rope bondage, but not in a sexual way (yeah, I've seen it in ff and thought, yep, seems like his thing)
Corvo
90s fashion, a bit awkward but appealing somehow?
David Bowie, that's so specific? complex and diverse but funky
takeout food, he doesn't really cook, has terrible eating behavior and just plainly starvs when there no food around, so that would be helpful
absurdism, whole "acceptance without humility" thing? i dunno
Lord of the Rings, a small hero with a great burden and greater stakes, it would resonate
Emily
punk rock, 80s pop, industrial and Corvo would also show her "Rebel Rebel", she would vibe with it
Satoshi Kon's movies, great female characters and a bit of insanity
comics, variety of styles and stories to tell! she did enjoy drawing while she was younger, maybe it would inspire her to pick a pencil again
asian cuisine, a lot of different flavours, I wonder how she would like it
marine biology, so much info about whales and other weird ocean creatures, again little Emily would be so happy
headphones, she would feel even cooler while jumping from one roof to another and kicking asses
Billie
airplanes, speed, freedom and views! you are already a captain of the ship, time to tame the sky!
anarchism, yeah, fuck the government!
family therapy, grab your old man by the hand and fucking go, you need it, it wouldn't be easy but please
Killing Eve
heavy metal music and jazz, Emily and Corvo approve. Daud, well, tolerates, it's a bit too much for him
Outsider
video games, all kinds of it!
DnD, especially GM role, you don't have to be a god to feel a little bit like one, and he also has this dramatic side it would def suite him
sci-fi and horror genres
techno, ambient and modern classical music
programming and hacking, he's a nosy young man, he'd like to know all your secrets, and it's just fun ehehe
Delilah
big fashion shows for stylish and powerful lady
therapy, again, no comments
expensive cars that people own and don't drive
Florence + the Machine and MARINA
iPad, Apple pencil and some software for drawing digitally

Soooo… guess here are my current obsessions One Piece OCs
@auxiliarydetective I did give it a try… not everything is final yet. Might not be a great introduction like this but it was fun to do and if anyone has different questionaires (or whatever they're called) just tag me.^^
Ideas, criticism, inspiration, all is welcome :) I've never so openly done this tbh
Animal Resemblances Neri: Betta Fish Niara: Emerald Swallowtail Azura: Arctic Fox Cordelia: Bombay Cat Ellaria: Splendid Fairy Wren (Not 100% sold on that yet but it will be a beautiful bird) Ginny: Leopard Seal (looks cute but could actually kill you)

Ideas that first popped into my mind when certain OCs came to exist… Neri: it's a show about pirates, there's GOT to be a mermaid Niara: I want a character that uses a devil fruit mmmh what about plants/flowers (strangely enough, none of my pokemon oc's ever cared much about the grass type lol) Azura: I want a cool sword fighting lady Cordelia: I want a hot fierce type of character that looks good in black and that doesn't take anyone's crap Ellaria: came into the picture much later, I only recently decided somewhat on her looks, only things I know for sure is pale green eyes and can sort of see the future. Might never make it into any kind of story but she popped into my mind so here we go. Ginny: falls into the category "looks cute but can probably kill you".
Made some Picrew of them coz I saw other creators doing that
Neri:

Ellaria: (I'm almost certain I'm gonna keep the color palette and probably the hair...)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ginny: (not her final look probably but I kinda want to keep the scars idk)
I took her pictures out because I decided on a different look for her. She will be a redhead now. She definitely has a scar or two on her face.
Bonus: A picture drawn by @indig0pearl featuring Neri and her own OC, Sora, as well as Nami, Robin, Chopper, and three of our friends (here also draw as OCs - yes the alpaka is one of them, she ate a devil fruit^^)

Headcanons for my One Piece hotties: Where they’d go for a vacation
Kizaru✨
He would like to go an island where it’s warm and sunny so that he could lay out in the sun since he can’t swim in the ocean but he doesn’t mind being in pools. He would happily help his S/O with applying sunscreen and would enjoy just being away from work and on a tropical island.
Akainu🌋
He would like to go on a trip where there’s lots of plants and greenery and a private onsen that he could relax in with his S/O. He enjoys bathing in hot water (lava temperature water) but cools it down when his S/O is close by and enjoying local spicy meals.
Ryokugyu 🌱
He would want to go anywhere that is densely forested where he could relax with his S/O and enjoy hiking together. He’d also prefer the area to not have a lot of people so that they would be kind of one with nature.
Sir Crocodile 🐊
He would want to take a luxurious vacation to an area with as little water as possible kind of like a Dubai inspired vacation in terms of just spending money the moment he starts planning the trip. He would stay with his S/O in a fancy hotel where they’d have spa days, exotic food cooked by the best chefs and spend nights at casinos (maybe strip clubs😏).
Doflamingo Donquixote 🦩
He would want a vacation where it’s sunny and has a great view from where ever he and his S/O go. He wants to get a nice tan as he hangs out on the beach as he admires his S/O in their swimsuit. He would order lots of seafood for them to enjoy and drinks all day long.
Benn Beckman 🔫
He would want to visit a country that he’s never been to before where he could explore and learn a new language with his S/O as well as experience a different culture and it’s cuisine too. He’d probably be more into backpacking.
Katakuri Charlotte 🍡
He would take a vacation to a cabin in a snowy mountain where he could spend the entire time with his S/O while he relaxes and cuddles with them by the fireplace. He’d make hot chocolate and have donuts ready for them to enjoy.
Killer 🔪
He would want to do a road trip across the country visit several cities with his S/O at his side. Of course he would do all the driving because he feels he’s the best driver and his S/O would be in charge of packing snacks, finding hotels and restaurants for them to enjoy meals together.
Kaido🐉
He would go to Bahamas inspired location where there would be beautiful people that he could enjoy his time with and have lots of booze while relaxing on the beach without a shirt and no worries in the world.
King 👑
He’d want to take trip to Skypedia with his S/O and he’d carry them the entire way as he flew, making sure to get them there safely. He’d go exploring with his S/O and camp out at several spots, just enjoying the island.
Queen👑
He would want to have a Las Vegas inspired vacation with his S/O where they would get barely any sleep and would be attending all the parties with VIP access. They’d stay at luxury hotels and enjoy all the facilities they provide.

Whumptober Day 2: Good Friends And Good Food
AO3
The second Wednesday of the month usually marks the time where people pack their own lunches and avoid the cafeteria, on account of the head chef having free reign on that day to try her “experimental” dishes.
(To the chef’s credit, she’s been at the school for 50 years and is otherwise a talented cook when she doesn’t get the urge to experiment and is just about the sweetest woman ever, so no one has the heart to tell her everyone’s taken to calling her original concoctions Mystery Food X after a teacher slipped up and called it that.)
There are very few exceptions, one of them being Yusuke, who’s diet of generally anything he can find that’s edible has left him with an iron stomach.
As such, Yusuke’s a little surprised to see someone else there when he gets to the cafeteria.
“Oh, hello! Did I miss something?” A girl with close-cropped white hair asks. “No one else is here.”
“No, most people just avoid the cafeteria on these days,” Yusuke explains. “If you don’t mind me asking, are you one of the Italian exchange students?”
“Yes!” she says, sticking out her hand. “Maria Lucrezia Fiore.”
Yusuke opens his mouth to speak but she keeps going.
“And it’s either Maria Lucrezia or just Lucrezia, I never go by Maria, that’s my oldest sister. She’s Maria Teresa but she goes by Maria, my second oldest is Maria Alessia, my younger sister is Maria Sofia, we’re all Marias, so only Maria Teresa answers to Maria.”
“I’ll keep that in mind,” Yusuke says. “I’m Yusuke Kitagawa, a third year student in the art department. You?”
“Art as well, though I’m with the second years.”
“Well it’s a pleasure to meet you, Fiore-san.”
“Please, call me Maria Lucrezia at least.”
“If you insist. Are you in the joint art show?”
While the Italian students were at Kosei, they were challenged to try a painting inspired by a Japanese artist, while the Japanese students were challenged to try a painting inspired by an Italian artist.
The best pieces from each year were going to be on display in a few weeks, along with some cross-cultural music and poetry reading, at a farewell gala the night before the exchange students leave.
“Yes! You as well?”
Yusuke nods. “I wish I had had more time to touch up the piece, but the professor approved of it anyway so there’s nothing I can do about it.”
“Great! I’m excited to see it. Who did you base yours on anyway? I picked Taikan.”
“I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try something inspired by Boccioni.”
“Bella, bella! I’m sure it’s wonderful.”
“Thank you,” Yusuke says.
“Kitagawa-kun!” The head chef says. “Good to see you! And Fiore-san, I’m so happy you’re here! I’m hoping you two can tell me what you think. I want to try and create some fusion cuisine for the gala, so I was hoping to get student feedback.”
The head chef takes them back to the kitchen and plates them… well it looks like sushi. However instead of rice the chef used spaghetti and made a dip for pasta sauce.
Yusuke takes a bite, and is a little caught off that the spaghetti is warm.
But he never turns down free food, so he gobbles it up.
“Ah! Delicious!” Maria Lucrezia says.
“Yes, thank you for the meal,” Yusuke says.
“I’m glad you think so, but do you think the other students will like it?” The head chef asks.
“Probably not,” Yusuke says bluntly. “The consistency is very strange.”
“I think it’s great! It kind of feels like it’s crawling down my throat on it’s own!” Maria Lucrezia says. Then she thinks for a bit, “though my brother thinks all my favorite foods are gross, so I guess I can’t speak for anyone else.”
“Well, thank you for your honesty. I just can’t stand the thought of making regular hors d'oeuvres for the gala! I mean it’s a celebration of two cultures coming together! That should be included in the food.”
“Well Italy and Japan have to have a lot of culinary staples that overlap,” Yusuke suggests. “I mean they’re both more or less surrounded by the ocean, at the very least they have to fish.”
“Yes! Seabass, cod, swordfish!” Maria Lucrezia says. “So maybe you can do sushi the way they’d make it if it originated in Italy! So use orzo instead of rice or something!” She gasps. “Oh or you can make a Japanese Timpano!”
The head chef nods thoughtfully. “Yes, yes, I must consider this. Both of you, out!”
She shoves them out of the kitchen.
“It’s good to see someone passionate about food!” Maria Lucrezia says. “So many people think of it as just something to eat.”
“Well it is,” Yusuke says. “I do agree that it’s nice to take the time to savor your food, but good food made with care isn’t always available.”
Saying that makes Yusuke miss Leblanc. He hasn’t been in awhile.
Futaba’s busy enjoying her school life to the fullest, and Ren’s back home, so neither of them have invited him over and he can’t go on his own. Otherwise he’d be taking advantage of Boss’s hospitality.
His stomach aches for the warm curry, though.
“That’s such a shame.”
Maria Lucrezia’s words shake Yusuke from his thoughts.
“Getting to enjoy food you like is important! It’s a part of being alive, no?”
“I couldn’t agree more,” Yusuke says.
~
Yusuke stares at the piece he submitted for the Gala. Their teacher is keeping it in her office since too often students will try to edit or touch up already submitted works, but he can see it through the window.
Honestly, he doesn’t know if he wants to touch it up or take the katana he hasn’t touched since February and slice through the canvas.
He’d told his teacher he was inspired by Umberto Boccioni and the Futurist movement, but that was a lie.
In reality futurism happened to be well suited to capturing the spirit of the Phantom Thieves. The futurists had declared:
“We shall sing the great masses shaken with work, pleasure, or rebellion; we shall sing the multicolored and polyphonic tidal waves of revolution in the modern metropolis.”
And how could Yusuke resist?
The form, light, and dynamism of Boccioni’s artwork reminded Yusuke of his friends, who, even outside of the Metaverse, are leaping forward into the future.
And here he is. Still doing the same thing he’s always done.
Everyone’s off trying new things, pushing themselves to grow and be better than they were, and Yusuke doesn’t even know where to start.
He does know he misses them.
But at the same time, he can’t distract them, clinging to them just because he feels lost.
~
Yusuke doesn’t know how he got volunteered to be on the planning committee for the gala, he just knows he’s here.
Maria Lucrezia’s there too, and she instantly invites him over to sit between her and a boy who must be her brother.
“Ok, so we’ll need to split into groups to do tasks. Since some of you joined late you’ll be assigned, and— Kitagawa and Fiore-san, you’re on flier duty.”
“Huh? But I heard there was an option for arranging the food that was still open!” Maria Lucrezia says.
“You’ll just encourage the chef to get experimental,” her brother says. “Not all of us can eat trash like you two.”
The head of the committee looks sheepish, confirming that it’s exactly as the brother said, and continues on with the assignments.
“I’m sorry for my brother’s rudeness,” Maria Lucrezia whispers. “This is Benito.”
“Hello. Nice to meet you,” Yusuke says, offering his hand.
Benito simply glares at it. “Don’t cause trouble for my sister, alright?”
Maria Lucrezia rolls her eyes. “Yes, yes, very helpful Beni.”
“I’m serious, Lucrezia. I’ve heard about him, he’s the weird one. Think about it, how out there does he have to be to be weird to the eccentrics at this school.”
“I can hear you,” Yusuke says.
“I know.” Benito turns to his sister. “He doesn’t even have any friends despite being about to graduate.”
“I have friends,” Yusuke interjects.
“No you don’t.”
“Yes I do, they just all go to other schools.”
Benito rolls his eyes. “You can’t come up with a better lie?”
“Why would that be a lie? There are lots of schools in Tokyo.”
“Sure but if every single one of your friends goes to another school, and no one else has heard of them, that’s a lie.”
“Hifumi Togo’s met one of my friends.”
“Oh, the shogi prodigy?” Benito fake gasps. “You mean the one currently at a tournament in Nagoya and thus can’t verify that you have friends?”
Yusuke rolls his eyes and pulls open his sketchbook. “Think what you will.” What does he care if this random exchange student believes Yusuke’s friends exist?
“We can meet them at the gala!” Maria Lucrezia says. “We’re the Flier Squad! So we’ll make sure they know about it!”
Yusuke blinks. “If they can come.”
Benito scoffs. “Oh sure, they’re all going to be busy, right? How convenient.”
Yusuke’s grip on his notebook tightens. “You never know.”
~
Yusuke stares at his phone as people walk past him in the underground passageway.
There’s no point in asking Ren, Ann, and Ryuji since they can’t make it out to Tokyo. Futaba, Haru, and Makoto will be around, and maybe it’d be worth asking Sumire as well on the off chance she doesn’t have a gymnastics meet?
He sends a picture of the flier to each of them.
Yusuke: My work is going to be on display, would you like to come?
There. That didn’t sound desperate. He’d hate for them to drop plans to come out of pity.
The task done, he puts his phone in his pocket, and tries to focus on watching the people passing by. Normally he’d work on capturing individual people, but since he’s on a bit of a futurism kick, he tries to capture the movement of the crowd itself, and the leaving, breathing bustling of the subway.
He’s almost in the zone when his phone buzzes, at which point Yusuke practically drops his sketchbook to drop his phone.
4 New Messages.
Yusuke takes a deep breath and checks them
Futaba: Sry, next Friday I’m in a gaming competition. Tell me about it after tho! Is there an award? Kick ass!
Makoto: I’ll be in a study group prepping for a big test, I’m so sorry. Will you send pictures?
Haru: Oh no, I’ll be at a business dinner, you must tell me when the next one is though. I’m sorry!
Sumire : Gah! I’m so sorry Kitagawa-senpai! I’ve got the regional finals that day and I won’t be back until late. I might be able to make it before the end?
Yusuke quickly texts “don’t worry about it” to each of them and leans back against the wall.
Yusuke turns off his phone and slips it back into his pocket. This is fine. It’s not like it’s a show with anything on the line. He’s just showing off a piece that’s already been recognized.
And it’s not like he needs them there to show up some jerk who’ll be back in Italy the next day.
No, he’s being ridiculous. They all have things on the line, he doesn’t. This won’t affect his grade, or his chances of getting into college, or anything.
They have more important things to do because they’re actually taking risks, Yusuke thinks to himself.
Because they’re putting themselves out there and trying things, while Yusuke remains falling back on what he’s always been good at. On what everyone’s always expected him to do.
He’s in place and they’re flying forward.
Yusuke realizes some people are staring at him, and it’s because he’s shaking. He packs up his bag and goes.
No matter how sorry he feels for himself, it doesn’t change the fact that it doesn’t matter his friends can’t come to the gala.
~
“Please come to Kosei High’s first Biennial Cross Cultural Gala! There will be food, music, and artwork on display!” Maria Lucrezia says.
Every day after school for the last week and a half, Yusuke and Maria Lucrezia have been handing out fliers in different neighborhoods near the school. They really want a large turnout from the local community.
Yusuke’s not sure how many people will actually come, but they have been taking a lot of fliers at least, which is the important part on their end.
“Yo! Inari!” Yusuke turns and spots Futaba running towards him. “Whatcha doing?”
“Handing out fliers,” Yusuke explains, showing her one.
“Oh yeah! The thingie! I’m sure it’ll be cool,” Futaba says. “What’ve you been up to, prepping for this?”
“Yes, pretty much.” We both know I never have anything else to do, is the part Yusuke bites back. He cannot draw his friends into his problems.
“You ok?” Futaba asks. “You eating? Because you’re always welcome at Leblanc.”
“Yes, everything’s fine,” Yusuke says.
“Sakura-san!”
A boy and a girl Yusuke doesn’t recognize run up to Futaba.
“Oh! Hey guys, this is my friend Inari, I told you about him. Inari, this is Aoyagi and Kusanagi, they’re who I’m entering the gaming tournament with. We’re here to practice at the arcade.”
“Nice to meet you both,” Yusuke says. They’re not even wearing Shujin uniforms, so Futaba’s managed to make friends on her own. She never could have done that a year ago.
The swirl of pride in Yusuke’s stomach is weighed down by a tinge of jealousy. Look at how far Futaba’s come, and yet here he is.
“Are you ok?” Futaba asks.
“I’m fine!” He won’t tarnish her moment with his own issues. “I have to keep handing out fliers, I’ll see you around.”
Yusuke runs off before Futaba can say anything, and almost knocks over Maria Lucrezia.
“Oh, there you are, Yusuke-sanpai!”
“Senpai” he corrects her.
“Right, sorry! Senpai. A month in Japan and I’m still not getting it!”
“You speak it fine,” Yusuke says.
“Ah, thanks. I’m… slow at learning things sometimes, you know? I like to take my time.” She sighs, “the next time we come to Japan, I want it to be for longer.”
“Thinking of studying here?” Yusuke asks.
“Perhaps, I don’t know. I’ve lived lots of places, and they’re all so different! I want time to appreciate them all.”
“Oh, you travel around a lot?”
“Yes, though my sisters and I have a bet to see who can go the longest without going to America.”
“Do you travel for your parents' work?”
Maria Lucrezia’s normally cheery demeanor drops for a second. “No, they died a long time ago.”
“I’m sorry,” Yusuke says. “I understand… my mother passed away a long time ago too, and my previous caretaker is out of the picture.”
“You ever get jealous of people complaining about their parents? Like ‘oh no they make me do homework!’”
“Can’t say I do. I suppose it depends on the parent.”
Maria Lucrezia nods. “Yeah, good answer. Beni’s mom…”
“You have different mothers?”
“Yeah. She was a massive fucking cunt, pardon my French.”
“You’re speaking Japanese.”
Maria Lucrezia laughs. “Kitagawa-senpai, you’re so funny! I seriously don’t get why no one hangs out with you!”
Yusuke tries to keep his face neutral, but Maria Lucrezia seems to catch it. “Oh, I didn’t mean—”
If he wanted he could take her to the arcade and introduce her to Futaba, but all that would do is grant him some satisfaction at the expense of Futaba’s time with her friends.
“It’s fine,” Yusuke says. “Let’s just get back to work.”
~
The gala, at least, is a resounding success. Tons of people from the neighborhood come to visit, including some Yusuke suspects who are just here for the free food, which he respects.
The head chef’s fusion cuisine has come out well from the looks of it, everyone seems to be enjoying it and she’s beaming with pride.
Once the final performance finishes, people begin to trickle out, and the head of the planning committee grabs Yusuke aside and asks him to help put away things.
He’s joined by Maria Lucrezia and Benito.
“Shouldn’t you be preparing for your plane ride?” Yusuke asks.
“We’ll be fine,” Maria Lucrezia says.
“I don’t want to leave her alone with you,” Benito adds. “Since your friends didn’t end up showing up after all.”
Yusuke rolls his eyes and pushes past Benito, grabbing several chairs and heading back to the storage closet, Maria Lucrezia following behind.
The door slams shut behind them.
"You'll have to forgive Beni," Maria Lucrezia says. "He's doing his best, even if he can be blunt sometimes."
"I'd like to stop talking about this."
"You know what I think?"
"No,"
"You're a real artist, you know? So many feelings that you're pouring out into the world. And it's killing you that no one can match that. Everything you give you'll never get back because your so-called friends don't care about you as much as you care about them. If you were in their shoes, you'd have noticed if they were upset. You would have been there for them. But then again, they can't. Because you're not their whole world the way they're yours."
"Fiore," Yusuke says sternly. "This is not the time for this conversation."
"You're right, you're right, I need to stop playing with my food."
Suddenly she grabs Yusuke's arm and yanks him downward so they're eye-level. She grabs the back of his head with other hand and to keep him still as she plunges a pair of fangs into his neck.
Yusuke struggles to push her off of him but she's too strong and he's rapidly losing feeling in his arms and legs.
"Senpai," Maria Lucrezia purrs when she stops for a second. "You really are perfect, you know? I mean you could be a bit shorter but your blood's worth the extra effort. Anemics taste so good."
"What... what are you going to do if I die," Yusuke breathes. She's completley supporting his weight right now.
"Oh don't worry about me, I've done this for a long time. I know how to be patient, even when it was killing me. By the time anyone finds your body, we'll be flying back to Italy, at least. Assuming anyone bothers to notice." She pulls his neck close again. "Now be a good boy and let me eat. There are worse things to be than a good meal, you know."
Damn it. If he were Fox, he’d be stronger. Faster. Able to fend her off.
If he were Fox he could summon Goemon and have his weapons.
If he were Fox, the rest of the Phantom Thieves would be with him.
But he’s not Fox right now, he’s just Yusuke, and he’s going to die in the back room of a tiny gallery and no one will be any the wiser.
He feels himself fall to the floor with a thud and he can’t even bring himself to move.
So he just closes his eyes and drifts off.
~
“I’m sorry guys,” Futaba says as they exit the gaming tournament.
“It’s not your fault. Who would’ve thought another gaming competition would have a print stickers contest,” Kusanagi says.
“And this time we didn’t have anyone good at it…” Aoyagi adds. “Still, there were about 20 teams and we came fourth. That’s not bad. Let’s grab our seats and watch the finals.”
“...Actually, do you mind if I leave early?” Futaba asks. “I might be able to make my friend’s thing still.”
“No, go ahead!” Aoyagi says. “Tell him hi for us, and remember that thing I said about my partner’s sister?”
“Yeah, we gotta set them up on some kind of art playdate or whatever. Inari’d totally love another artist he can actually nerd out with. See ya guys!”
Futaba heads out to the front of the arcade and opens up her phone, texting the group chat.
Futaba: Hey, any of you guys still at Inari’s art thing?
Ren: ?
Futaba: He’s doing an art show with school.
Haru: Give him my regards!
Makoto: Me too.
Sumire: Tell him if he doesn’t mind waiting we can swing past and grab some dessert!
Ann: Aww he didn’t tell us he was doing an art show!
Ryuji: Yeah we coulda at least texted him good luck.
Futaba: I don’t think it's a competition, it’s just a display.
Futaba: …wait.
Futaba: So did everyone in the Tokyo group say they couldn’t make it?
Haru: I can’t.
Makoto:  Me neither
Sumire: We’re trying, but we won’t get there before it ends without breaking some traffic laws :(
Futaba: Oh shit… when I saw him last time he looked really bummed about something, is it because none of us could make it?
Ann: When was the last time any of you hung out with him in person?
Haru: That would be, after Sumire-chan’s last meet, right? The victory dinner?
Makoto: That was over a month ago!
Ryuji: Ah shit. I haven’t had a voice chat with him in awhile either.
Ann: Me neither
Ren: Not us.
Futaba: oh noooooo Inari istg if you’ve been all lonely and didn’t want to talk to us.
Futaba: Ok the gallery or whatever isn’t far from here, I’m gonna run over rn.
Makoto: Gonna tell my study group I need a break, I’ll be there ASAP
Ryuji: gl!
Futaba sends a text to Yusuke to say she’s on her way, and sprints/walks over to the gallery.
When she gets there she spots a familiar head of red hair.
“Sumire!” Futaba gasps. “I thought… you’d be…”
“Later?” Sumire finishes. “My aunt was driving and I explained the situation and she, well, broke several traffic laws. But I’m not sure if anyone’s still here.”
“Hold… on…” Futaba says, pulling out her phone. “Yeah… he’s here…”
They follow Futaba’s phone to some storage room, and Futaba pushes it open. “Inari? You– AH!”
There’s a girl with Yusuke’s blood dripping down her chin, and Yusuke slumped over, completely unconscious.
Sumire’s faster than Futaba, and runs over to smack the girl— vampire?!— over the head with her gymnastics bag.
“Hey!” the vampire girl gasps but Sumire keeps going, while Futaba rushes over to check on Yusuke. His pulse is very slow.
The door bursts open again and a dude who looks like the vampire girl runs over and grabs Sumire’s wrist, and she elbows him. Soon the two of them are fighting while vampire girl heads over to Futaba and Yusuke.
Then the door bursts open again.
Makoto’s in the doorway, stares at Futaba holding Yusuke, the vampire girl with blood on her mouth, and the other guy currently wrestling with Sumire, and wastes no time.
She dashes over to the guy wrestling Sumire and throws him off into the path of vampire girl. The dude and the vampire girl look at each other, then turn into bats and fly out the small window.
“What—”
“Vampires! Inari! Hospital!” Futaba gasps, motioning frantically to everything.
Makoto still looks confused, but picks Yusuke up.
“T-take him to my aunt’s car!” Sumire shouts, getting up.
They sprint over, throw Yusuke in the back, and Futaba climbs in while Sumire frantically explains that they have to go to the hospital right now.
~
Well, Yusuke can’t say he was expecting to wake up, but the smell of antiseptic does make sense.
What’s the most surprising are Futaba, Sumire, and Makoto curled up on various chairs around the room.
Then Haru enters with a mug of coffee.
“Oh good, you’re up!” Haru whispers. “I came over as soon as I heard what happened.”
Yuske’s throat is dry. “Is what happened to the Italian exchange student was a vampire?“
“Yes, apparently.”
“Huh.”
“Are you feeling alright?” Haru asks. “You needed an immediate transfusion with all the blood loss.”
“Tired, I suppose.”
“Then do you… have an insatiable thirst for blood?” Haru asks.
“Um… no?”
“Ok, good. You know there are so many different types of vampires it’s hard to tell how real ones work.” Haru explains. “Ren, Ryuji, Mona-chan, and Ann have been texting info all night.”
“Oh, but Ann has class right now?”
“It’s an emergency,” Haru says simply.
Yusuke feels tears start to drip down his face.
“Huh? Yusuke, what’s wrong?”
“I’m just very happy you all came,” Yusuke says.
“‘Course,” Futaba mutters.
“Sorry, did I wake you up?” Yusuke asks.
“Stop worrying about us you big lug,” Futaba yawns. “Anyway, totally thinking we should have a Tokyo gang group chat so we can hang out more.”
Haru nods. “Great idea! I do feel awkward making plans in the main chat when the others can’t come.”
“I have a break from meets for a while, I’d love to hang out. I see Futaba at school all the time, but I’d like to see the rest of you more. “
“We should do something that’s not too strenuous when Yusuke gets out of the hospital,” Makoto adds.
“The arcade? I need to get good at print stickers,” Futaba says.
“Print stickers?” Yusuke asks.
“Ooh! You take pictures in a photo booth and then doodle on them, you’d be great at it, Yusuke!” Sumire says.
“Also I’ve gotta introduce you to this chick, Ena Shinonome, sometime. She’s an art student like you, you can have art friends.”
Yusuke just starts crying harder. “I’d… I’d love all of that.”
Suddenly he has much less to worry about when he can be with his friends.

hiii hope all is well!
i wanted to know about ur mermaid dr cause i dont think youve talked about it before??
how long did you spend in that dr in total?
do mermaids speak in a different language?
were there any mermaid specific foods you ate
if so what were they and how did they taste?
did you have any powers as a mermaid?
did this dr follow any kind of "plot" for lack of a better word?
what did having a tail feel like?
was their any cool history about mermaids that you learned during ur stay?
-🌧 anon
Oh fun!! No I don't think I've ever talked about my mermaid DR here!
A few notes just for reference; this DR was heavily inspired by Barbie Mermaidia and the actual environment plus what we looked like was basically a direct ripoff from that. Humans exist there and they've always known about merpeople - we're pretty well integrated actually. Pollution doesn't exist and the oceans are pretty clean! Merpeople breathe oxygen (we actually have gills!) so we can be out of water but not for too long or we do risk "drying out" (aka dying). Houses were usually completely underwater but there were a lot of homes with an upstairs out of water that you could swim up to.
Hm... iirc, I think I spent about four-ish years? I remember when I first shifted there I was 15 and when I left I was 19! So... I'm not sure about the specific time spent, but it was around four years.
So in my DR, merpeople spoke whatever human language they were around and specific merpeople languages! We had a "general" language that basically everyone spoke and then a lot of regional differences, some more intense than others. Also I'm sorry for being boring but the general language was literally just called Shui. I don't know why my mind did me like that 😐
Cuisine differed from area to area but most merpeople ate fish and plants! It was actually pretty similar to what humans do just in the ocean. Bigger mammals were usually a no-go just for safety but I did try shark once. I didn't love it to be honest hahah Also! We couldn't get sick from mercury! Tuna was really common and a lot of seafood contains mercury so I scripted that it wasn't an issue.
In terms of specific recipes, there was one dish that was basically like pasta but with wakame instead and had pieces of whatever fish was available. It was really good! Not everyone is a fan of the texture though. We also had a version of khanom chan that was made with seaweed! It was often flavored with underwater fruits and tropical fruits :)
I didn't have any powers! Unless you count being able to breathe underwater and swim super fast?
No, there wasn't a big plot! I really just wanted to enjoy being a mermaid hahah I went to school and I got a job watching pets at some point (yes we had pets it was the coolest thing ever - the most common pets were crabs and penguins for some reason).
Having a tail felt very natural but definitely different! It feels a lot more... powerful (?) than human legs! I also remember having a revelation of feeling like a bird because you could flap your tail a lot to gain momentum and then stop moving it but still swim forward because of that momentum. It was pretty cool actually
Cool history... there used to be a lot of ancient civilizations that lived on and around islands! When I shifted there, we mostly lived underwater (plus occasionally above water because of the houses but it was still in the middle of the ocean), so learning about the merpeople who lived on islands was really neat to me. They basically built houses around the island and then made manmade rivers that through the islands to use the resources on them. Apparently, they also built something that was similar to a wheelchair to move better but no one's been able to find solid proof of that so we don't know... (personally, I think they did!)
Anyway, this was really fun! Thank you for the question!! This DR was so much fun and really healing for my inner child hahah I definitely recommend having a mermaid DR it's so cool to be able to just swim and breathe underwater

Note
I don't remember seeing any asks about solely fish based foods across tamriel, so what are the most popular fish based foods around the provinces?
Fish and seafood are much beloved by every Tamrielic race, but what sort they consume is entirely dependent on geographical access to bodies of water. Whether it's oceans or lakes and rivers, there's a dish for every fish lover out there.
Altmer
Summerset inhabitants are spoiled for choice when it comes to fish, as they are not only surrounded by the ocean, but also have access to bodies of fresh water like the Clott River. One of the most traditional fish dishes, said to be passed on from the Aldmer, combines ocean fish with river crawfish in a delightfully flavourful stew served with rice, somewhat similar to coastal Imperial paella. The seafood is stewed in Russafeld Heights white wine with herbs and spices, and the boiling mixture is poured over rice and left to cook on low temperature until the rice is creamy and tender. You can also find more Altmeri seafood inspiration at the Anchors Aweigh Inn!
Argonians
The stereotypes are true: Saxhleel cuisine is, where possible, primarily seafood-based. Whether it's Blackwood Stuffed Banana Leaves or baked clams in coconut sauce, there's a little something for every seafood lover out there in Black Marsh. Most importantly, everything must be as fresh as possible; no pickled fish! Be sure to try the Lilmoth specialty of whole coconut coal-grilled snapper and king prawns, served with calamansi sambal and coconut rice.
Bosmer
Fish are most certainly Green Pact compliant, but many people seem to forget that the Bosmeri diet consists of far more than just meat! Both river and ocean fish and crustaceans are beloved across Valenwood, and popular seafood dishes include things like timber mammoth cheese-baked mudcrab, fishcakes served with crispy bacon, and creamy molten scampi baked with witchetty grub "rice" . Rich, filling, and delicious!
Bretons
Seafood is much beloved by coastal Bretons, and there are many ways to serve it in High Rock! From smoked and breaded herring roe to fish pies and soups, Breton seafood dishes are renowned for being mild yet flavourful. Aside from the ubiquitous crisp fish and chips (always served with plenty of salt and malt vinegar), fans of fried seafood can also enjoy a whole range of battered delights, from cod bites to prawns, mussels, squid, and crab claws when visiting any Breton street food or beach stall. Don't forget the lemon aioli!
Dunmer
Seeing as Morrowind and Solstheim are both islands, there is an abundance of fish dishes featured in Dunmeri cuisine that are often overlooked in favour of more exciting meats like nix-hound or guar. However, one can't call themselves a true seafood connoisseur without trying a Narsis favourite: a flavoursome seafood broth thickened with saltrice, brimming with generous slices of Resdaynian Sailfin, Shalk-Brother Crayfish, steamed hackle-lo, and kwama egg drops. Simple, satisfying, and very tasty.
Imperials
The Gold Coast is renowned across Tamriel for its delightful fresh seafood, and takes special pride in featuring it in small sampler plates known as tapas. Squid ink paella, boiled cold octopus with lemon, grilled fish sausages, and scallops in brown butter sauce are some classics that will whet your appetite! Of course, don't forget to pair it with your favourite white wine, in true Cyrodiilic fashion.
Khajiit
Southern Elsweyr is known for its delicious seafood, and if there's one cohesive theme there, it's the spice! You can expect any Khajiiti fish dish to be loaded with flavour and an appropriate amount of tear-jerking spices. I'm a huge fan of grilled lobster tails topped with loads of chunky fried chilis in sweet moon sugar syrup, Pellitine Tilapia red curry with coconut rice, crunchy baby squid in moon sugar saltrice sauce, and crispy fried Khaj'Roh (something of a cross between an eel and a catfish) salad with sour young papaya.
Nords
People love picking on Nords for our pickled fish, but always forget that Skyrim has access to rivers, lakes, and the Sea of Ghosts, thus making seafood one of the backbones of Nord cuisine. Whether it's smoked fish roe paste on rye bread for breakfast, mudcrab salad for lunch, or baked salmon with potatoes and leeks for dinner, you'll find no shortage of fishy delights all day, every day.
Orcs
Wrothgarian Orsimer have greater access to the coast, and as a result have a more seafood-heavy diet than their inland kin. Blood cockle omelette, made with chub loon eggs, is a favourite dish in the region, and is served with frost mirriam-infused echatere cream cheese. Another local specialty are savoury, cake-like octopus balls served with a sweet and spicy mayonnaise dressing, and topped with crispy dried whitebait and shaved bonito (the latter being a curious import made popular by Baandari travellers).
Redguards
You won't find much in the way of fish in the desert, but Redguards from Sentinel, Hew's Bane, and Stros M'Kai love their seafood! Curries are one of the most common ways to serve fish and crustaceans, and they range from mild and creamy to spicy and pungent. In addition, prawns and crawfish with sweet goat's butter sauce topped with crisp cereal flakes, fried fishcakes with shredded coconut and chilis, and bread rolls stuffed with curried potato and mudcrab are just a few of the delicious things you can try on the region.

Gods of the Decatreiztinate
Hey folks! Today I’m here to introduce one of the pantheons within my project/campaign: Mystic Parallels. This will be a short post listing all thirteen gods and giving a brief summary on each of them. What are the Decatreiztinate? The Decatreiztinate is a pantheon of thirteen gods chosen by the Pillars of Existence themselves. This divine group carries out the orders and wishes of their four higher-ups, guiding and overseeing Elai-terra to keep everything in balance.
-♡-
Format: Name | Title | Domain
Karnus | The Magician | Illusion & Decay “The almighty leader of the Decatreiztinate is a force of his own. None of the pillars could truly command him to carry out their wishes, but despite that, he serves the four cornerstone gods with the utmost loyalty.”
Bachina | The Guardian | Cuisine & Shelter “Although her power could have made her the leader of the Decatreiztinate, she does not trust herself to lead, as she deems herself more fit to protect and sanctify those who deserve such protection.”
Cyanid | The Scientist | Poisons, Venoms, & Toxins “His strength is rivaled by the other gods, but his conniving personality and intelligence regarding the weaknesses of the rest of the Decatreiztinate make him one of the more dangerous gods of the pantheon.”
Morrigan | The Reaper | Death & Harvest “Despite being the fourth, she could easily wipe out the rest of the pantheon in the blink of an eye. She chooses not to, only because she understands that there is a time and place for everything. Destroying the rest of the gods is, to her dismay, not her job.”
Ankkus | The Assassin | Deserts, Plains, & Theives “His title is deceiving, just like his upbeat personality. It’s a wonder that he is the top five of the Decatreiztinate, as his carelessness causes more hurt than help. His status may only be because of the amount of people that dedicate themselves to him.”
Sanguis | The General | Blood, Rot, & War “Nothing ever truly dies. The idea or thought of a person that dares to linger can give the dead man power; same goes for the gods as well. He may be dead, but the gods are sealed away under heavy stones when they ‘die’ for a reason.”
Haywood | The Cultivator | Forest & Faelands “They say he tends to all life in a caring and gentle manner; this allows all flora in Elai-terra to thrive so wonderfully. However, his favoritism to specific specimen also is the reason for some plants becoming alive or invasive.”
Frei’go | The Preserver | Arctics & Mountains “A distant god of all things cold. He believes that preservation is the key to an eternal history. His knack for inscribing history and watching in silence inspires many mortal scholars to serve him and follow in his footsteps.”
Enyo | The Investigator | Underdark & Caves “She hides herself in the caves and shadows, watching, lurking, and waiting for the right moment to strike and climb back up to her former glory. If it wasn’t for the higher gods, she would have crushed all those who dared to defy her.”
Naiobe | The Mariner | Oceans, Seas, & Storms “The passion of adventure and journey was birthed from the goddess of the seas herself. But with such powerful emotion also comes abrasive and controlling undertones, thus why her anger is shown in the storms.”
Helena | The Berserker | Wildfires & Cannibals “If only she had matured, her power could have proven her worthy to be one of the top five. But naïve as she is to the words of the other gods, such a childish deity could never be trusted with high rankings and influence.”
Amabilis | The Diplomat | Love, Sex, & Family “Everyone has a reason to like or hate the idea of love itself, for even the god of love themselves despises their own power. If the ruler over love hates the idea of love, then what does that mean for every other being?”
Nymphius | The Peacekeeper | Rivers & Lakes “They may be the last of the Decatreiztinate, but do not think that this makes them any less powerful than the other gods. In fact, some could say that they are the most powerful of the gods, since unlike the rest of them, they know how to control and balance themselves.”
-♡-
Feel free to use this pantheon publicly as long as you credit me, that’s all I ask really. If you have any question, feel free to comment them or ask them on my AMA page. Thank you for reading!
