I would just like to say that flying long distances is hell for someone who has sensory issues like myself. The constant drone of the plane, the small space, the smells and tastes of the crappy microwaved meals (and for some reason they pick the smelliest things possible? Like we’re in an enclosed space that recycles air wtf?)Anyway I can’t wait to land and get some food. Just another hour and a half…wish me luck.

Oh thanks! I'm the kind of cook who's can only make like three things but I'm really good at those three things, you know? Anyway my go to low energy food is pita pizza. Like most Israelis, I keep a package of pitas in my freezer at all times, so I just defrost it, cut it horizontally (so there's two separate circles), spread some ketchup on it, stick some kind of yellow cheese on top, maybe some canned olives if I feel like being fancy, and then microwave for one minute, boom done you've made a pizza. Also low energy but I usually make this as a side for another dish is microwave baked potato - stick a fork in a potato like four or five times just to let the air out and then microwave for at least four minutes until you can stick the fork in and it goes all the way. I usually have to stick it back in the microwave after the first round but it depends on how big the potato is

i’m so mad rn fucking hell. i’m visiting my friend and today is the last day right? i wake up at 8 this morning, he’s not there (like every single other day). i’m sitting there waiting for him to get back since we had planned to go to an amusement park today. he comes back at 10:30 saying he’s not feeling great and that he needs to do some work and also work on a group presentation he has to hold tomorrow. fantastic. at least we didn’t buy the tickets already. i go out alone to this wonderful castle museum i had wanted to go to. we meet up later in the day and then come back to his dorm. he leaves to go and get groceries while i start packing my stuff for my flight tomorrow. he comes back, gets a call from his friend and says he’ll go outside quickly cause they’ll fight about things. i text him after he’s been gone for quite some time asking if he wants to watch a film when he comes back. he replies saying he’s in the city (which it takes 50 minutes to get to) and this call will take hours. on top of that he told me earlier that he changed his mind and he won’t be coming with me to the metro station in the morning since he’s got so much to do tomorrow and he’s so tired. knowing how annoyed i was when my host family wouldn’t bring me to the airport when i left them. something like that has happened every evening. i’m genuinely pissed off and glad i’m leaving tomorrow.
