SITUATION(S) DO NOT MATTER TO SHIFT
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
THE LOCATION YOU SHIFT IN DOESNT MATTER
the location you shift in DOES NOT MATTER you can shift on the toilet, in bed, on the bus, in the shower, etc. anywhere that you can stand, sit, or lay down you CAN shift in.
THE SOUNDS DONT MATTER
those dogs barking, water running, people talking, random noises. don’t matter in the slightest, you can shift within a second so what does it matter?
THE PHYSICAL FEELING DOES NOT MATTER
the type of bed sheets you have do not matter, your skin / limbs touching don’t matter, the chair your in doesn’t matter. nothing matters.
ONLY YOU CAN MAKE YOURSELF SHIFT NOTHING ELSE

I think the one thing that helped me with my relationship to shifting more than anything was making an effort to separate my DR from my shifting journey. Because ultimately, those two things are so fundamentally different.
Tumblr media
Your DR is a full reality. Your shifting is an activity. You need to be able to separate these two things in order to process each fully. A lot of shifters will talk about the beauty of letting go, of not caring as much, etc. I think this lends itself to the notion that you really just need to separate the reality of your DR from the actual practice of shifting there.
Your DR is a full place, a full reality where you're living. It has places, people, a whole life for you. Your DR is not shifting, your DR is a place you already are. It's a life you already live. When you're thinking about it in your daily life, think of it like that. Think of it like your life. It's just another day! It's just another part of your life. Don't put it on a pedestal, don't associate it solely with shifting. Think about this life of yours as if it is as simple as your CR life. Recall these thoughts and memories as you would those of your CR.
Because shifting is but a means to bridge the gap. Shifting is a method you use to get there. It's a tool. Your DR doesn't exist because of shifting. Shifting exists to get you to your DR. Shifting is a small part of that entire life you're living in your DR.
I encourage you to take time to meditate on your DR and not at all think about shifting. Just meditate on what you're excited for about your DR, what you're expecting in your DR. Meditate on your life there. Meditate on your script. Do not think about shifting, just allow yourself to get familiar and comfortable with your DR itself. Allow yourself to realize that your DR is not shifting. Allow yourself to realize that your DR is its own life, and that shifting is nothing more than a means to get you there.
Feel free enough to ponder your DR without the weight of shifting. Let yourself fall fully into this space without that weight.

shifttok is so obsessed with rationalizing shifting. literally everything they say is trying to justify why they didnt shift.
"i didnt shift last night because i just said affirmations and went to sleep" BITCH. people do that ALL THE TIME and they DO shift
"i didnt shift because i put my dr on a pedestal" people put their dream colleges on a pedestal. THEY STILL GO TO THOSE COLLEGES make it make sense
"i didnt shift because blah blah blah" bro.. you didnt shift because you're imposing these rules upon yourself that didnt exist in the first place.
think about it. you're jogging on a clear path at a nice pace, you know that you're gonna get to your destination soon. SUDDENLY you start putting down hurdles you have to jump over and holes that you have to avoid. does that make sense to you?
you can shift. everybody can shift. i spent literally 4 years trying to figure out how to shift when i already knew. fucking take a breather and just do what feels right.
the first time i shifted i turned on a sub and went to sleep. no affirmations, no method.
"i dont like doing affirmations, i get distracted." then dont! no one said u needed to
"i have trouble focusing on my method and i keep wandering off" then do that! just let go
you will shift because thats just what happens. this isnt some superpower. instead of searching for the key, realize that you are the key.

And on the other side...
Listen, I know it can be really upsetting and disheartening to hear so many people knock down your beliefs and tell you that they're right and you're wrong. I get it.
But the law is personal. It's all personal. Your life - your experience - is all up to you. No one else. Especially not random assholes on the internet. They do not control your life. They do not control your manifestations or your shifts or your spiritual journey or any other aspect of your existence.
It's all you! You can just as easily ignore them and manifest their attitude away. In fact, I plan on doing just that once I'm done writing this post. We are here to experience a good, fulfilling, and fun life. We are not here to humor weirdos. We didn't discover the law just to fight with people about our own experiences and beliefs. We didn't join this community just to watch it turn into a cesspool of "your beliefs are wrong >:(((".
Regardless of where we are in our journies, we joined the loa community because we wanted to interact with other people who knew about manifesting. That's all. We didn't come here for random people who just discovered it a month ago to start preaching to us about why their beliefs are superior to ours.
I understand being hurt. I understand being disappointed. But never let those feelings control your life or your manifesting journey. Never let anyone tell you that your beliefs and your experiences are wrong. That kind of behaviour is literally antithetical to the law.
Do not give your power to other people. Do not give up your power to strangers on the internet. Protect your peace, protect your beliefs. and protect your existence.
The loa community here is getting way too comfortable telling other people that their beliefs aren't valid.
The entire point of the law is your assumptions dictate your reality. Any person saying "this belief is the only truth or this isn't real or this can't happen" is someone who fundamentally does not understand the law and is trying to use it to dictate other people's beliefs.
"I believe manifesting is shifting". Okay, that's true. For you.
"I believe we all live in one reality and we always see other people's manifestations". Okay, that's true. For you.
"I believe we can only manifest for others if their assumptions also change". Okay, that's true. For you.
"I believe everyone shares one consciousness". Okay, that's true. For you.
The whole point of the law is you control your reality. You control your experience. You can choose to spend that time fighting others about their beliefs or you can spend it making your time here better. You can choose to shut other people down and make them feel bad or you can spend it learning about other people's beliefs and experiences.
Y'all are literally turning into "tiktok divine spirituality" regurgitators and it's sad asf
Stop touting your beliefs as the one divine truth. Stop telling people that their beliefs don't make sense or can't be true. Stop going around yelling and starting fights just because someone else has a different belief system. You can live your own life and have a fulfilling time without knocking others down.
boring nasty spiteful people... you did not discover the law just to act like a spoiled 10 year old who can't share their toys

THINGS I WISH I KNEW WHEN I WAS GETTING STARTED WITH THE LAW OF ASSUMPTION (AS SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN MANIFESTING FOR 5 YEARS)
1. the law of assumption is personal. considering how we have different sets of experiences, different environments, different upbringings, and even different languages, we have different assumptions.
because of this, we are affected by teachings and success stories differently. it's important to note this since a lot of manifestation coaches will teach you about the law in a way that worked for them (and the others they may have taught) but it's possible that their advice (even my own) may not be the best for you. even abdullah and neville goddard, two of the people who are known to start this discipline, may have ancient or varied belief systems and techniques. this is normal considering the world they lived in before is different from the world we live in now.
although, you should still read on abdullah and neville because they will teach you the basics and they will help you understand the foundations of the law.
as an example, you might manifest your dream career faster with simple affirmation techniques but a coach may have taught you to focus on visualization techniques.
even the idea that "dominant THOUGHTS manifest" or "what you BELIEVE in manifests" is entirely up to you.
note: notice how i said "may not be the best for you" instead of "may not work for you". any technique can, does, and will work.
how i learned this: when i was learning about the law, i mainly focused on neville's teachings because he was one of the most prominent figures in the practice. and though i liked his practical techniques (especially mental diet and inner conversations), there were some beliefs that i do not agree with e.g. divine timing, appointed hour, avoiding "does not" "is not" "will not".
when i was going through sammy ingrams' takes, she said that it's better to have concise affirmations/short list (non-verbatim) than a long list of 25+ affirmations. but going through affirmations without being specific about them doesn't personally resonate with me and that's just because i'm a detail-oriented person (also a writer).
what i can advise:
learn about different approaches
a. through scientific concepts. e.g. quantum physics, reticular activating system, cognitive reframing, cognitive behavioral therapy, the psychology of placebo effect, the psychology of affirmations, Baader-Meinhof phenomenon (a.k.a. the psychology of self-fulfilling prophecy)
b. through religious and/or spiritual concepts. e.g. passages from the Bible, passages from the Quran, deity work, spells and rituals
c. through self-development. e.g. identity-based habit
start the practice with an identity you like in the present or an identity that you resonate with (learning style, talents, interests, etc.)
examples:
-visual learner = vision boards
-loves writing = scripting
-words of affection love language = affirmations
take teachings with a grain of salt. do not limit yourself and do not allow other people to limit you. experiment with concepts, ideas, and techniques, and have fun with them.
2. techniques are only reminders. you are manifesting either by thinking, feeling, or acting out your desires. you are manifesting every second of the day either with your thoughts, emotions, or by embodying a state. you are only being intentional when you anchor techniques.
note: it is true that your dominant thoughts manifest. it is also true that what you believe in manifests, the same way that your inner knowing manifests. BUT these ideas are meant to empower you. they are meant to remind you that manifestation is as easy as thinking, feeling, acting, believing, understanding, deciding, etc. if an idea doesn't feel good to you, it doesn't have to be an ultimate truth you embrace and carry on with. this is the same with techniques.
what i can advise:
choose one technique and practice it for 7 to 21 days. it can be mental diet, affirmation tapes, sats, mind movies, etc. as long as you can persist with it. give it time. give it time. give it time. in other aspects of the world, you give change some time. when you're calcium deficient and you decide to drink calcium supplements, you realize that it's counterproductive to ask "why am i still calcium deficient?" as soon as you start your regimen because you know your body is changing with the supplement and you put your trust into it. after all, why would you choose a supplement you have no faith on? you just give it time.
note: you can still manifest changes to be instant. you can affirm "i am seeing results now", "results come immediately", "my manifestation is quick". the amount of time you're using a technique does not equate to the amount of time your results will come.
the reason why i encourage you to practice for maximum 21 days is so you can fully explore and master the technique you chose. with the abundance of topics and methods discussed in social media, switching and trying new things is tempting. now, there is nothing wrong with this. it's just that, you wouldn't be able to take a step back and reflect on what worked and what takes more effort when you change techniques every so often.
try a technique that is popularized in the media. a lot of the times, the reason why this technique gained traction is either because it's simple or because it has worked for a lot of people. now, here's the thing: if said technique wasn't for you, at least you can say "oh this is a tiktok/twitter/youtube/old/beginner technique, there are other techniques out there" and you can try another technique with less resistance. but, if it did work, then it did. congratulations.
you can invent your own. here are some techniques that i invented throughout the years.
a. "name is set and solid with the fact that..." - works amazing for sp, getting people to commit, getting people to pursue you
b. "okay! manifestation powers go brrr!" - funny but i do this when I'm spiraling; it also helps me surrender doubts and i think it's because it's so simple and unserious lmao
you can combine them. for example, you want to do sats but you cannot hold a vision for long, what you can do is montage photos or videos that is similar to the vision you want to manifest. you can also have affirmation tapes running in the background.
3. "concept" work can be such a banger. assumptions are basically the conception about the world, about yourself, about the people around you. hence, when you manifest and apply the law of assumption, you change or reinforce a conception.
these can be done through:
self-concept
what it is: your awareness about yourself; the way you perceive yourself.
how you can apply it: there are multiple ways to establish your self-concept but the best way, is to start reinforcing the universal truth: that you are inherently worthy. you deserve money and resources because you are worthy. you deserve love because you are worthy. you deserve ease because you are worthy.
other ways to grow your self-concept is celebrating the identities you have within yourself that you like e.g. that you are strong, you are disciplined, you are beautiful. be careful about strongly tying yourself into these identities though because these are not the reasons why you shall receive. again, you shall receive because you are inherently worthy.
why it works: by having a strong self-concept, you develop ease. you are less likely to rationalize or question the law or why you deserve the things you're asking for. and as you may think, rationalizing may be a form of resistance. questioning may be a form of resistance.
one of the ways i have seen this is when people receive incentives from work, instead of just receiving or saying "thank you", they say things like "what have i done to receive this?", sometimes completely rejecting this gift because of fear that they might lose something when they receive. this can be an example of a weak self-concept. consequently, the company starts questioning "did my employer really do enough to receive this?".
on the other hand, someone with a strong self-concept can take this incentive and buy the things they like because they know they deserve it. they can also take this incentive and say to themselves "oh it's because i worked hard these past few days". it's the knowing and confidence they have within themselves that everything around them has no other option but to recognize.
conception of other things (e.g. of love, of money, of a specific person)
you can work on your conception of other things the same way you work on your self-concept: choosing a narrative that is uplifting to you.
in case you have resistance to a specific object, you can also listen to people's success stories to start shifting to a more positive and desirable perception. one of the ways i do this is by going back to abdullah and neville's story. these two men lived at difficult times, through difficult eras, yet they manifested their desires. they managed to let go of the 3D.
4. practice some distance as you're starting. you were exposed to a different life before the law, it's only normal and human to have doubts or spiral once in a while. however, when you set distance on things that do not help you embody the state, you set distance on things that will feed your doubts and spiraling.
for example, if you're shifting to a state of wealth and you're affirming "i have 1,000 dollars". it's unhelpful and opposing to be constantly surrounded by someone else saying "you only have 10 dollars".
now, i do understand that not everyone can do this right away because of circumstances. but PLEASE do whatever you can to set this distance. find a voice to reinstate your truth.
a personal story, i am an asian girl living with a grandmother who was pessimistic about love because her two children (my mom and my aunt) struggled with it. because of this, she used to constantly remind me of how love is difficult. i didn't know this at the time, but this created a set of beliefs in my head. consequently, as a teenager, i only seeked and allowed love which was difficult because that was all i've ever known. that was all my assumption.
but around the pandemic, i went back to the countryside with my dad where i had a lot of time on my own. this was when i got deep into new-age spirituality and did shadow work. from here, i realized: this is not my assumption about love. before my parents broke up, my assumption was that love is easy. you only have to make the other person laugh. when i was busy in school and would spend most of the time at my friend's house, my assumption was that love is support and light. i started to get these epiphanies that a lot of my pessimistic perception was because of someone i was constantly surrounded with and that i have to build new assumptions.
but around august 2020, i have to go back to the city with my grandmom. i was afraid of the toll i might get into when i got back. however, because i already practiced distance and understood what are the assumptions that serve me, what are the assumptions that i want, i was more at peace. i listed down affirmations about myself, about love, about money, about being "deserving".
after this, every time she told me what love was, i can stop her and say no. i can tell her that it's not the universal truth, and certainly not mine. along the way, i started manifesting that she believes love is easy and supportive. i started manifesting that she believes i deserve love that is soft and tender.
then, when i got into my relationship, she was nothing but happy and supportive.
other ways i have practiced distance while manifesting:
unfollowing content creators who normalized hating men.
unfollowing content creators who were shady and negative about relationships.
unfriending highschool guy friends who do not make me feel safe about men.
unfriending relatives who make unnecessary comments about my looks, my studies, my relationship, and my earnings.
unfollowing girls who made me feel bad about also liking girls.
unfollowing manifestation gurus who romanticize struggles because "the more you struggle, the more you get blessed"
unfollowing manifestation gurus who say stuff like "if you want money, you have to take action to deserve it. not just manifesting"
now, you can totally manifest these people to change and be better, as long as it will make you feel good.
that's all i can share today (since this post is already getting long). i hope you learned a thing or two. thank you so much for reading. i love you and i appreciate you !

everything is self.
self must be expressed, meaning, everything around you is only an expression, an embodiment of who you are within. but what if i told you it’s not the desire alone that we want to have?
manifesting the version of self.
when we desire something, when we have a desire, we are never aiming for the desire itself. we are aiming for the version of ourselves who HAS or IS what we desire. for example, it’s never "i want to have a partner!", it’s "i want to be the version of myself who has a partner!".
it's always self.
i didn’t understand this in the beginning. for instance, to me "i have a perfect boyfriend" and "my boyfriend is perfect" seemed like the exact same statement. however, they're not. did i want to have a boyfriend? yes, i did. but what i didn’t expect is that i would have to CHANGE from within in order to be in a relationship. my boyfriend (hypothetically speaking) wouldn’t only be MY boyfriend, i would also be HIS girlfriend. naturally, manifesting a boyfriend would mean for me to become the version of myself who is in a relationship with someone. so, i'm not manifesting him (the desire) alone, i'm actually manifesting MYSELF to be with him (a certain version of myself).
shifting versions of self.
thus, manifesting, actually (!), isn’t about you getting thing A or thing B. it’s you BECOMING the version of self who has thing A or B. manifestation is all about shifting your state, shifting your feeling, shifting your reality. and a shift of reality can only occur if there is a shift in SELF. you won’t change once you go from not having thing A to having it, you have to change mentally BEFORE you can even have thing A (physically).
aim for self, not desire.
this brings me back to the same piece of advice as usually: dismiss the 3D. disregard it. don’t care about circumstances and what it may show you. we can’t change the state that’s already being expressed on the outside. and your goal isn’t getting something in the physical world. we know that you want the feeling of it. you want to experience the feeling of the wish fulfilled. and newsflash, you can fulfill yourself WITHOUT needing the physical world to conform to your desires! change happens within and so does manifestation.
so, what do you do? you embody the version of yourself who has your desire. start viewing yourself with your desires. connect yourSELF with whatever you desire to either be or have.
with love, ella.

I wanted to share a few words of advice with you guys for times when you feel overwhelmed by doubt or uncertainty that you might fail or it won't turn out in your favor:
whenever I feel myself succumbing to an unfavorable pattern of thinking by giving into my worries, I like to recenter myself by remembering that I don’t live in a world of facts, I live in a world of imagination and the only one who can sabotage anything is myself by what I choose to be because I am, have been and always will be the cause, so if I can pick between being accepted or rejected and the same "effort" is required for both then why would I not pick acceptance?
a lot of us self sabotage by feeding into the unfavorable scenario because we have so many reasons to believe that it won’t work out. but you don’t need to be concerned with it “working out” or not because creation is finished. you’re not "creating" a state of consciousness because they all exist within you awaiting occupancy. the means are not up to you to determine. you're only asked to accept it by claiming yourself to be via I AM.
I'll repeat this again because it's very important that you understand this: the world is a reflection of the state you choose to be conscious of. key word: choose. if you can choose fear, you can also choose love. if you can choose failure, you can also choose success. every possibly conceivable state is ready for you to select and occupy at all times. there's no need to fear the outer world since it's only showing you your self concept (the state you have selected willingly or unwillingly). when you bring yourself back to this fact, you realize that you really are above your fear and you no longer need to feel bound by it because you can always select something other than fear. the 3D cannot show you anything you aren’t conscious of being, so it’s always up to you whether you want to be conscious of winning or losing. it follows you, the 3D isn’t randomized and subject to chance, it is a reflection of you. at this and every moment you get to decide what the reflection will look like. so will you persist in desire or will you persist in fulfillment?

slow down and be gentle, it’s okay
give yourself some time to breathe
so many of you guys do not cut yourselves a break, a lot of the times you guys punish yourselves for not doing it “perfectly” or you compare yourself to a blogger/ a person whether thats online or offline, i just want to tell you that whether you believe it or not, you do not have to punish yourself. you dont have to constantly criticise yourself.
this is a journey, we are going to go back and spiral, we are going to go back on the old story, we are going to confuse ourselves, we are going to overconsume, we are going to overcomplicate. thats just a part of it. so many of us have experienced it, its so common.
but when those things happen— lets not demonise it and label it as something we should punish ourselves for. lets look back on it. accept that we have done that thing & treat it lightly.
instead when we come across those issues, become aware of it, be kinder to yourself and see what you can do better.
“DO NOT BLAME ONLY RESOLVE” — Neville Goddard.
as neville said, do not blame yourself! there is no reason to blame yourself, there is no reason to hate yourself.
one thing that will never ever work is being toxic to yourself. this whole “toxic motivation” this whole mindset curated by a greed-hungry capitalists on tiktok where we need to be constantly grinding and motivated and doing 281919 things yeah its gonna end up in burnout.
we do not flourish out of self-hate

Have you ever shifted to a reality where you look like a different person than what you look now?
Will you ever respawn or permashift
Yes!
I looked just a tad different in my Narnia DR, and I looked completely different in my Teen Titans DR, as I was literally a different person (i.e. Raven).
Everywhere else, I looked the same if you ignore minor cosmetic changes like hair color.
As for your other question, I don't plan on respawning, but I do plan on permashifting at some point. I don't know when though.

It seems like you've already been asked a lot of questions about KPOP DR, so I'm sorry to ask, but I was wondering: did you shift to the status of already being an idol (i.e. having released your first album) or did you move to the status of trainee? If you moved to the status of already being an idol (i.e. having released an album), did you remember everything about that album (dances, songs, relationships with members, etc...)? I'd like to move to KPOP DR too, but I'm not sure how to organize it. Thank you and sorry again...
Hi!
When I shifted there, it was right before I became a trainee. However, you can absolutely shift to a kpop DR where your DRself is already an idol. As long as you want to know everything, you will! Remember that your DRself is you, so you'll know everything they do. If you're still anxious though, a quick intention or script addition will ensure that you do. Just say something like, "I will know and remember everything my DRself knows".

hii i plan on shifting to a dr for at least like 10 years, so i don't know what to do about the time ratio. i definitely don't want to make it an hour a year, i don't wanna come back so quickly with the mind of a 29 yo (as a 19 yo who is "way too mature" already this sounds like a nightmare) and 10 years worth of memories.. but i don't wanna to just not experience those years here.. i was thinking doing some months here because rn my life is really uneventful for the moment, but like how many? im not sure about it. i think that these thoughts are the doubts stopping me when im attempting to shift, as i know i can do it (i have minishifted so many times i lost count). what would you do/recommend?
Well, I can't exactly tell you what to do since time ratios are very personal. Doing a few weeks or a couple of months if you know your life will be uneventful during that time sounds like a great idea! It sounds like you do want to miss some time, so I'd recommend maybe a month or two? It's not too extreme, but it does give you some time away from things :)
This is still very personal though, so I'd recommend taking some alone time to really think things through. It can be hard to figure out that sweet spot of how much time you're willing to miss, if any, but once you do, you'll be glad you took the time to do it!

I want to shift to a military DR, but I don't know anything about the military, can I shift there, and will I fit right in when I get there? I don't even know basic military rules, so I think I'd be lost. If I write in the script that I'm good with the military, and I write about my senior and my junior, then can I get my DR memories (memories with my boss and my successor) in Dr?
If you want to know everything, you will. If you're really worried, I'd recommend either intending or scripting that you'll know everything you need to know, including necessary military things, your coworkers, etc.

Since everything is possible therefore I alr know the answer to this question, I just wanna ask to give myself some peace of mind. Say I wanna shift to tbhk and have my reality be in the tbhk artstyle. Would it still look like the tbhk artstyle and not like them mha clay model looking animations or something like final fantasy? Just the tbhk art style as it is and has been.
Yes, if you want everything to be in a particular art style, it will be in that art style :)

I want to shift to Castlevania, and a big part of that is them killing monsters and vampires....is killing a vampire technically killing someone? They're already dead and there's an afterlife portrayed in Castlevania. I don't want to kill anyone.
Well... personally, I would still consider it killing them if they're portrayed as conscious beings. Whether vampires should be regarded as "alive" is a widely debated topic, but I believe having previously died as a human doesn't negate their newfound life as a vampire.
However, I'm not going to preach to you about whether or not killing vampires is morally in the clear. That's really up to you, your beliefs, and how vampirism works in Castlevania. If you're having doubts, then I'd recommend either working out a way for you to not kill them or getting rid of that aspect entirely.
A good rule of thumb is don't kill anything conscious. There may be some special cases where that doesn't work, but I've found this works for most DRs. For example, you may feel comfortable killing a mindless zombie since it's "undead" and doesn't have thoughts, desires, or a will to live. Meanwhile, vampires, while also considered "undead", are usually depicted as having conscious thoughts, emotions, desires, etc., all things that an average human would also experience.
While I haven't watched Castlevania, I'm aware that the vampire characters are depicted as rather human-like in their experiences and thoughts. Personally, I would err on the side of caution. Perhaps you can figure out a way for your DRself to not have to kill anyone?
