- You two met when you were helping in transporting an injured slayer to the Butterfly Estate. While waiting for more directions you assisted her in folding clothing where you two proceeded to bond.

- After that day you came to the estate more and more frequently. Aoi seemed to be much calmer around you in contrast to her usually brash and tsundere-like attitude.

- She hates to put work on you and always insists that she should be the one doing the chores, but you always end up helping her anyway.

- Aoi is constantly making sure that you're eating and drinking enough. In the middle of doing chores she'll stop and go prepare a meal because she wants you to stay in good health.

- She never lets you bad mouth yourself. If you ever say anything that has to do with putting yourself down she'll immediately drown you in compliments, bickering with you on how that's not true. Even if it does embarrass her to say such kind things.

- She often gets jealous when you talk to other people. It isn't exactly possessiveness, but more of worrying that you'll leave her behind. She'll never admit this directly to your face. (Though you probably will learn about it through Kanao.)

- She won't confess the fact that she misses you when you're not at the mansion. It gets lonely for her because there are no other workers in the estate that's around her age. Sure she has Kanao, but she's also always so busy.

- Aoi tends to overwork herself a lot so you helping her and forcing her to take breaks is really good for you. Shinobu even took you aside and thanked you for being her companion.

- Due to her harsh personality not many people are up to befriend her, meaning she was secretly head over heels to learn you genuinely liked her.

- It's not often that she truly cares for herself so you being there to cheer her on has really improved your mental health.

- Aoi considers you as one of the most important people in her life.

- Being so close to her means you've also befriended the little butterfly trio! They always want to come help you and Aoi with the chores. They pretty much see you as the cool older babysitter.

- Aoi often gets shy when asking you for your favorite things (because she wants to make/get them for you) and so she always asks Kanao or Shinobu to do it for her.

- Her heart is beating out of her chest when she talks to you!! Though she just crosses her arms and tries to avoid the fact she's nervous.

- She's terrified of dying but wouldn't hesitate to die for you.

- If she's talking to Zenitsu and you come into the room she'll do a full 180 and go from yelling at him to softly greeting you.

- Her sense of humor is really, really dull and so she'll try to playfully insult you and it just goes straight over your head. She'll be apologizing for hours afterwords.

- There would be times where you would convince Aoi to take a break from chores so you guys could just chill and vibe in the mansion.
