Finally, Inosuke discovered an human concept he can eat!
I wish I could have done more for Inosuke's birthday (since it fell on Earth Day, I had some other ideas), but between work, house chores, and other projects, chibis were all I could manage. But that means I can do something different next year! I referenced both Gotouge's style, as well as the chibis from Kimetsu Gakuen, but i think my own chibi style still shined through. Happy birthday, Inosuke!

A whole lot of people probably won't care about this, but I just wanted to say,
After 65 chapters and one epilogue, I finally finished the rough draft of my InoAoi fic today!!!
I have spent years on this, put in a lot of effort, sacrificed a lot of my time to get this done while having a full time job. I'm just so proud of myself!!
Of course I'm not completely done. I still have a lot of work ahead of me to proofread and edit this monster and try to get it beta read, but I've finished the hardest part in laying down the foundation work. This is huge for me as I have never finished anything half this big before (hell, most of my multichapter fanfics have always been left unfinished ^^')
I actually stuck with something!
Anyway, I hope I can get it posted before the end of the anime, and with as many chapters as it got to be, I hope it will be a good read for someone.

In my opinion, I think TanKana was kind of rushed and forced. Yes it's a cute ship but it's just that Kanao is so badly written, Kanae literally gave her a coin and said some shit like she will find a boy that will make her heart change and stuff (don't get me wrong, I'm in love with Kanae but this is so stupid.), this kind of mindset is very dangerous and Kanao are basically just lucky that Tanjiro are the one who help her since not everyone is as nice as him. And Kanao are basically the ones who show any interest towards him throughout the series, the only times Tanjiro shows any interest in her are at the end of the battle. Before any of you Tankana or Kanao stan came after me and said "But Tanjiro saves her from Muzan!", Babe he's literally nice to everyone and every sane person would definitely help her at that time. I would accept the ship if they actually gave some explanation on why Tanjiro is in love with Kanao but none of them said anything about it, so in my opinion Aoi and Tanjiro should be an endgame. Y'all might be shocked asf but this ships actually make more sense, Aoi and Tanjiro have more scenes together and it was even canon that Aoi has a crush on him but stop because of Kanao. Tanjiro even said some nice things about Aoi when Zenitsu said she was strict and serious, he even said something to make her feel better about herself . InoAoi are also kind of rushed and the only reason Inosuke likes her is because she gave him food (I know that he makes her laugh but that doesn't prove anything.), It would be better If Kanao followed Tanjiro advice and found love, I also think it's better if Inosuke stay single since it just suit him lol, all of these ships are basically forced at this point. Also, this is not a hate towards anyone, I'm just a person who sits around all day bashing on a random characters.

It was a quiet day in the butterfly mansion
Aoi Kanzaki was in the kitchen, preparing lunch for the demon slayers. As she was cutting onions she felt her eye begin to swell, quiet footsteps were in the room; she was used to this kind of behaviour coming from three demon slayer in particular; Inosuke Hashibira, Tanjiro Kamado, and Zenitsu Agatsuma
Aoi refused to turn around "If you're hungry then you'll wait for lunch" she said sternly, not knowing entirely who was behind her
"Aoi-san, I wasn't here to steal food, so don't worry" Tanjiro said with a polite smile on his face
She turned around to look at the red haired boy "Did Nezuko-san's box break again?"Despite being a polite boy, Tanjiro was sometimes careless in battle; with both his sword and his sister's box.
"No, I was just going to ask about Inosuke" he replied nervously,
Aoi turned around instantly "What, did he get hurt?"
"No, I just wanted to ask why you seem to favor him so much"
"Favor him?" she repeated strongly
"You seem to take more extensive care of him when he's here" Tanjiro commented
"Inosuke-san is more reckless than you are, it's normal for me to take more time with him" she said, hoping Tanjiro wouldn't see the blush on her face
"He seems to like you a lot as well"
"Huh?"
"You and Kocho-sama are the only people he never fails to remember the names of" Tanjiro commented
Aoi blushed immensely at this statement "Kocho-sama is very good at caring for him, he's definitely taken a liking to her. And Aoi is a very short name, it must be easier for him to remember"
Tanjiro exhaled "He talks about you periodically as well"
Aoi began to get irritated at this "What is your point, may I ask?"
Tanjiro laughed "I'm saying this because Kanroji-san told me the two of you were 'meant to be'"
Aoi turned around at him "Love pillar-sama can overthink things at times" she saw an opportunity "Besides, if she were going to call two people in the butterfly mansion 'meant to be' I'm sure she'd talk about you and Kanao"
Tanjiro's face became almost as red as his hair "W-What is that supposed to mean?"
Aoi laughed "Also, I meant to tell you this, thank you for helping me out when Tengen-sama tried to kidnap me"
"He had good intentions, but you're welcome" Tanjiro realized something "Hey!"
"What is it?"
"You're trying to change the subject aren't you?!" he said accusingly
"Listen Tanjiro-kun, Inosuke is only ever nice to me since I make him food; no romance involved" Aoi sighed
"Don't be in denial Aoi-san"
"I'm not in denial!"
They heard a voice behind them "That sounds like something someone in denial would say"
"Zenitsu-san, do you need something?" Aoi started
"I came to steal food" Zenitsu smirked "But your conversation was too interesting to not listen to"
"Idiot" Aoi said
"Aoi-san, it's hard to believe that dumbass boar can fall in love with anyone"
"Thank you" she said
"But I feel you're the only exception" he finished
"You both are out of your minds" she said
"If I asked Inosuke who his favorite person in the butterfly mansion was, what do you think he'd say?" Tanjiro asked
"He'd say either Tanjiro-kun or Kocho-sama"
"Wanna bet?" Zenitsu offered
"I'm not betting anything, I'm not as irresponsible as you two" she replied
Zenitsu smirked "So you think there's a possibility?"
Aoi blushed, they both saw it this time "No, betting never got anyone anywhere, that's all"
Tanjiro looked at her confidently "If I ask, will you at least listen to the answer?"
"Fine! Now sit down, lunch's ready" she said
"Yes ma'am" They both said simultaneously
They started eating

favourite kny ships? any ships (not minorxadult or victimxabuser) you dont like?
i love the kamaboko boys! i think they're very cute and stupid together. i'm fond of both sabigiyuu and sanegiyuu, albeit for very different reasons. … and i'm gonna be real with you, those are the only ones i really care about. obamitsu is also cute, but my joy in it is more … background, i guess?
as for stuff i don't like, well… besides the obvious ones, i don't really like giyuushino unless it's in a super antagonistic sense? they're mlm/wlw hostility to me, y'know? i also have . many issues with the kamaboko boys' canon ships. tankana is fine . like i'm cool with it, whatever, but zennezu has always rubbed me the wrong way and inoaoi just feels so . nothing to me.
all this should be taken with the knowledge that i actually care very little for shipping in the kny fandom. i mostly prefer gen content :)
