i feel like heeseung would always and i mean ALWAYS trap you between himself and whatever other object is there near you. I honestly feel he loves to see you flustered and ears all burning red just from a mere touch as he very smoothly traps you between his arms, nowhere to escape. like, the look on your face is such a ego booster and this little "moment" has to happen at least once a day. It is just a heeseung coded move and it gets you worked up every single time.

"hee, I just had to go get groceries real quick, can you let me go?" You try to excuse yourself from his hold as you were trapped between the counter and his arms. "no baby," he bends to meet your eye level, "you left without giving me a kiss." he moves in so close you think you'll combust. "cmon baby, make it up to me."

PARK JONGSEONG ツ

we all know Jay's love language is acts of service and maybe even gift giving. cmon, its obvious that jay is the kind of person to always buckle your seatbelt for you, open any kind of door for you, cook meals that remind you of your culture and hometown, likee he is literally the sweetest boyfriend ever. he's perfect. he is also the type to always have a belonging of your in his bag whenever you both are outside. like that is so jay coded.

your day started with a quick breakfast at a cafe, and then your extravaganza at the amusement park. You and jay went through it all, the amazing food, the thrilling rides. he even held your hand the whole through the roller coaster to help you conquer your fear. he was there every step of the way and you both had so much fun. the sun had started setting and so you both get seated at a highly reviewed restaurant in the park for dinner. Just as the food came, you wanted to tie your hair up, feeling scorching due the humid air and all that walking you did. noticing you were having trouble finding your tie, Jay casually puts his wrist closer to you where a hair tie was sitting. "here, i kept an extra."

SIM JAEYUN ツ

jake is definitely the type of boyfriend to take you out on night drives. windows rolled down, music blasting in the air, one hand on the wheel and the other intertwined with yours. you couldn't have spent your night with jake in any other way. he loves you with all his heart and i feel like one way of showing it is through songs, so what's better than listening to playlist he made for when he thought of you, while riding around the city at its most quiet hour?

"baby, i just added some new songs to the playlist." he confesses, giving your knuckles a sweet kiss before bringing it back onto your lap. "yeah? lemme hear it jakey." he giggles as he presses play "i love you, my girl." he looks at you the whole time you were listening, together on a blanket as you indulge the beautiful night sky.

PARK SUNGHOON ツ

one thing that sunghoon loves but doesn't want to admit is waking up in your arms. quite literally, he loves falling asleep on your chest with your hand massaging his back and hair. ugh, he'd just melt to sleep then and there itself. don't get him wrong, he absolutely loves seeing you under his arms first thing in the morning. but, something about being in your embrace where he can be vulnerable and himself is just far much better. he absolutely love your sweet and hoarse voice as you greet him a good morning and then proceed to pepper his precious face with kisses to start of the day right. he feel so much better with you and your presence.

the little kisses being left on the top of sunghoon's hair wakes him up. he looks up at you from his place, hair all strewn, arms wrapped around your midriff while head tucked inside the crook of your neck. you giggle softly at his sleepy smile before running a hand through his hair, "good morning, sleeping beauty." he huff as you see the evident pink on his cheeks. "good morning" comes out muffles due to how close his mouth is to your skin, placing gentle kisses and squeezing your waist. he looks up at you through his eyelashes, giving you a full, sweet good morning kiss and murmuring that he wants to stay five more minutes in bed.

KIM SUNOO ツ

this is such a sunoo coded thing. but, he absolutely LOVES doing masks and manicures with you. like, imagine just sitting on your bed, face masks on and gossiping about anything and everything while painting each others' nails. sunoo is the type of boyfriend in whom you'll find a best friend. like, he is always the first you would go to share news and stuff and vice versa.

"and so because of niki, we got the rest of the day off!" sunoo exclaimed finishing the mini story of a recently occurred event. you couldn't help but laugh at the irony of the story. minutes pass, and now he is painting your nails this time, both of you rocking a baby pink color. you both end up binging 2000s rom-coms before dozing off sleeping soundly in each others' arms.

YANG JUNGWON ツ

ugh. jungwon is such a soft boyfie. he is always by your side helping/accompanying you to anything and everything. jungwon is very kind and caring and takes care with so much love, he loves you more than himself. he is the type to always greet you with warm hugs and cheek kisses. hand holding when going on a stroll outside no matter the time of day. he is also very BIG on words of affirmation. he is always telling he loves you and he makes sure you know.

"omg! won, look!" you point at the stray cat that was situated under a tree near the trail of the pretty park you both are at. he looks at it with wide eyes before slowly moving towards the cat, wanting to greet it. once the ginger cat understands that you both mean no harm, it starts to get close with jungwon rubbing up against his leg. "it is so cute won, it looks just like you!" you exclaim resulting in a chuckle from your boyfriend. he slowly picks up the cat, bringing its face close to his before turning to you. "see baby, you can't tell the difference between me and the cat, can you?" you chuckle softly kissing his cheek. you both decide to take the cat to a vet and then give it some food and shelter for the night.

NISHIMURA RIKI ツ

this kid. as much as playful he is, he is as equal in being sincere and true to himself and your relationship. he loves to tease you. i think quality time is one of his ways of loving you, so i can def see you both out on adventurous dates together. whether it be basketball dates, going to an amusement park together, spending time with each other at 4 am having ice cream, anything and everything you do, it's always filled with love and laughter that make up wonderful memories.

"come on baby, try and take it from me." niki exclaimes as yet again steals the basketball from your hold dribbling slowly towards the basket. "ugh, you and your damn long legs." you mumur. he laugh at your comment before stopping in front of you. he is so close that you know you are going to turn red soon if he doesn't back up. "here." he puts the ball in front of you, and you have to declare yourself stupid because inches before you can get the ball, he raises his arms, putting the ball way out of your hold. "riki! not fair." you out as you try and jump to get the ball. Niki simply laughs at your silly attempts. "you are so cute, you know that?" he bends to meet your eye level, placing a chaste kiss on your lips. "i love you" knowing the effect you had on him, you managed to snatch the ball before running away and yelling, "i love you too dork!" niki smirks at your escape before chasing after you.

- he's literally the dictionary's definition of "golden retriever boyfriend." you can look it up on google and he comes up fr.

- jake is so sweet and respectful when it comes to taking you out on your first dates and asking you to be his partner.

- he probably takes you on a casual date, somewhere you both feel comfortable like a picnic at the park, or riding bikes through the city, or maybe even an aquarium date.

- truly, he would wait a couple months into the relationship to admit how nervous he was first asking you out. and how he prepared himself for rejection.

- this man doesn't fall in love easily, however when he does finally realize he's in love he falls hard. he's so passionate about everything he's doing that it is only natural for him to be passionate about you.

- getting him away from you is hard, if you guys could be attached at the hip he would do it in a heartbeat he loves physical affection and is so extremely needy of your embrace. he's just so cutely clingy.

- he always remembers to text you "good morning" and "good night." and send you little cute texts throughout the day about how much he misses you.

- kinda like a real dog he would get pouty and whiny when denied your affection or feels like he's having withdrawals of your presence.

- he talks about you a lot, so much so that the enhypen members probably know more about you than you know about yourself.

- if you didn't already know, he's extremely possessive and gets jealous easily. so, he will scream if someone comes too close to you.

- this man will pout if he hasn't heard from you all day. the second you call he's all smiles after annoying his members all day with his love sick whines.

- he thinks about you a lot, so he randomly shows up at your place with gifts and excuses the gifts as "this reminded me of you." or "this kinda looks like you."

- one thing he secretly likes is matching items, like phone cases, jewelry, or shoes. nothing too cheesy though, probably would get you something small like matching key chains or airpod cases.

- it's evident that he's a little clueless and gullible sometimes, so he believes everything you say 100%. you could probably prank him into thinking he's been showering wrong his whole life. he would literally go with it.

- unfortunately, as brave and tough as he wants to be for the love of his life (you) he's a little bit of a scardy cat so- expect to be the one protecting him from the dark, scary movies and bugs.

- he would die to take you camping and beg you every summer to let him take you out to camp until you finally agree and he gets so happy. he's finally able to show off his tent building and fishing skills.

- sometimes he might pull you into hiking dates, to explore the green landscapes and mountains. or have you ride ATV's or 4 wheelers with him for the thrill of it.

- although his life is extremely fast paced, he is so extremely patient with you. regardless of the situation he's never going to rush you or push you to make a decision.

- he makes playlist for you all the time, some of them with songs that make him think about you and others with songs he feels you might like. he takes pride in making and naming them. he hopes you listen to them all the time.

- fights are extremely rare with jake considering in his eyes you can hardly ever do wrong. he's a talker and would definitely want to talk out anything that might bother him.

- if you ever need him, regardless of the reason he would drop everything he's doing to be at your side. especially if you're out with friends and need a safe sober person to drive you home. he's the first one there for you.

- expect him to send you tiktoks of animals being cute and a text following it saying "babe this is literally us."

- saying "i love you" came naturally to him. he definitely said it first because he probably let it slip out without thinking. he probably doesnt even notice he said it until you point it out.

- "okay bye babe, i'll see you tonight. love you!— what's wrong why are you freaking out? was it something i said?... I SAID WHAT? no i didnt! ... did i? maybe i did... oh my god! damnit! i didnt want the first time to be that way!"

- he's so dramatic, he would literally pretend to pass out or die if you refuse a kiss.

- his one flaw... he's a little messy so you might have to clean up after him. however... he notices how you like to keep things and would actively work towards putting things where they go instead of just throwing things around.

- he also sometimes helps make meals with you. he's genuinely interested in cooking and thinks cooking together is a good way to spend time together. he makes the rice perfectly every time.

- of you go on his phone his photo gallery is filled with just pictures of you, and selfies you've taken of both of you together. pictures of you guys cuddling, kissing, making funny faces. it's all in there.

- probably has your contact name in his phone as "loml💗".

- he's genuinely convinced you guys will get married one day and have kids, and live in a nice house with a big yard and a dog.

- in his notes app he has saved a list of places you like eating at and your usual order for the place and randomly surpise you with food. even if he's on tour he'd order food to be delivered to you while in a different time zone.

- sometimes he worries about you eating or if you're drinking enough water. so he asks you all the time if you ate or if you've been sleeping well.

- he wears the things you get him all the time, it's so normal to him. and when he looks in the mirror and realizes he's wearing a necklace you got him he feels like he's carrying your love with him.

- jake really is just a love sick puppy boy who would drop anything and everything for you. he's so unbelievably in love it's so sweet.

His love language is definitely gift giving,if you mention once that you like a bracelet,he’s got it.

Christmas and birthdays are the best with him considering he notices every minor detail about what you like and don’t like.

B = Best friend

(What would they be like as a friend before the relationship)

Before the relationship Johnnie is a little awkward,he fell first and you fell harder. He’s still the same except he showers you in gifts,is a little more physical with you and more awkward than he is when he gets into the relationship.

Everyone but you can notice that he also has a crush on you,you regularly spoke to Jake about it who always replied with “Ask him out,he likes you.” In different variations.

C = Cuddles

(Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He loves cuddles,in fact he loves for them. He would definitely cuddle you with your legs over his,your chest on his head.

He lives for cuddles with you,after filming or simply just living all he wants to do is cuddle up with you and watch something in the background.

D = Domestic

(Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He definitely wants to settle down with you eventually,has obsessively thought about proposing to you after a year in the relationship.

He is immediately very domestic in the relationship and enjoys little things with you. He immediately treats you like his wife with princess treatment.

(How are they like at the beginning of the relationship)

He’s still slightly awkward but he’s a lot less awkward with you than he was,you’d have to be more dominant in the relationship until he gets more comfortable with you.

(How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He’s very comfortable with committed relationships and would honestly think about proposing to you,he wouldn’t propose until you had been together for at least 5+ years.

He does talk to you about it quite a bit though and often comments about it just to test the waters and see how you feel about it.

(How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

He would never even think about hurting you,physically or emotionally. It hurts a part of himself too,to even think about laying a hand on you or saying cruel words to/about you.

He loves hugs,the same as he does cuddles. He loves hugs and he lives for hugs with you. Usually he hugs you throughout the day as a way of showing his affection whilst also not wanting to create any tension between who he/you’re with at the time.

He definitely wants to say it immediately. It always in the back of his mind and the tip of his tongue but he never said it until you were dating for around 2 months. He didn’t want to scare you off and therefore waited longer than he wanted.

J = Jealousy

(How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He doesn’t get jealous per se but he does stare daggers into the person who thought it was a good idea to talk to you.

He doesn’t get jealous per se but he does need the random-guy-chatting-you-up-at-the-bar to know that you belong to him.

He doesn’t get jealous per se,but he’s extremely jealous. He rarely shows it but will make it entirely known once it’s just you two alone.

K = Kisses

(What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

His kisses,whether short or long,is passion filled as well as love filled. His kisses describe the way he feels about you and he makes it a point to express his feelings through kisses when he can’t express them through words.

He loves kissing you on your forehead/lips because he thinks it’s more affectionate than anywhere else. This also says the same about his preferences,loves forehead kisses and small pecks on the lips.

L = Little ones

(How are they around children?)

Although he says he hates children,children are drawn to him and it may show a bit of his softer side :).

He’s honestly one of the best person with kids,even though he swears by hating them. He knows how to talk to them,he knows what to say and what not to.

(How are mornings spent with them?)

You wake up to find Johnnie splayed out on your chest most mornings,he’s a big cuddler and will find any excuse to have his arms around you.

Sometimes (at least once a week) he’ll get up early to make you breakfast in bed which you pay back by making him breakfast in bed later in the week :).

(How are nights spent with them?)

Big cuddler,he loves to have his arms wrapped around you or vis versa. He definitely barely takes up any of the bed,he makes himself small on purpose to give you more room (even though he ends up cuddled up to you).

He will casually mention really random things about himself throughout the relationship,I mean you’ll be cuddled up and watching a movie and he’ll just say something like “You know once in middle school-“

He has all the patience for you,he never wants to hurt you emotionally or physically by yelling at you and so he would have a lot of patience.

If he begins to lose his patience he would ask for sometime alone so he doesn’t shout etc.

But no matter what he wouldn’t physically harm you intentionally,he wouldn’t hit you etc.

He remembers everything you tell him,even in passing. Your favourite colour is purple? He knows. How? You told him while you were half asleep,cuddled up to his chest on one week after you got together.

He remembers almost anything you tell him,he tries his hardest to remember anything you tell him,even if he has to write it down somewhere just in case.

(What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Definitely a cuddler,so his favourite moment between you two would be cuddling up on the couch and watching a movie together. He’s ordered your favourite food and drinks and you two are more than likely to fall asleep together on the sofa.

(How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

He would protect you as much as he can but let’s be honest,he’s a skinny boy with little jealousy. He would definitely protect you from random creeps at a bar,random men in the street and if you were alone he’d come and pick you up but I don’t think he’d ever get in a physical fight.

T = Try

(How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Every single anniversary,date,gift or even everyday tasks is thoughtful and planned. He would never disappoint you and he would make sure all occasions are memorable and special to the both of you.

He tries his hardest in your relationship no matter what the situation were to be and he’s always making sure that your happy :).

U = Ugly

(What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Definitely picks his fingers,like picks the corners of his cuticles etc. You make sure to stop him when you can and he rarely does it again.

He doesn’t pick up quickly on social cues,you would have to basically spell it out for him for him to understand and even then he wouldn’t really understand.

V = Vanity

(How concerned are they with their looks?)

He doesn’t care what other people think,he rarely cares what you think if he’s honest.

If you don’t like a shirt he has he will still wear it but he will note down that it’s not your favourite thing he owns and will not wear it as often.

W = Whole

(Would they feel incomplete without you?)

He and his friends note how his actions are a lot different without you there,as if he feels lost without you to guide him. He feels incomplete without you,as if he had forgotten something at home.

(A random headcanon for them.)

He definitely will come home with an animal one day that he’s adopted without your full permission (he didn’t even ask you.) bonus points if it’s a cat.

Y = Yuck

(What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

He wouldn’t want their partner to be unhygienic so if you have mental health problems that stop you from being hygienic he will fully support that and help you.

There’s nothing that he sees as an immediate dealbreaker as long as he can help you through it he will.

Z = Zzz

(What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

He definitely starfishes like his whole body across the mattress type of thing. He’s not particularly experienced in relationships so he wouldn’t have to deal with sharing a bed often and therefore his sleep habits haven’t changed since he’s been a kid.

Therefore he will try his hardest to only take up his half of the bed but don’t count on it.

• I hope your love language is receiving gifts because hoo boy he is constantly showering you with presents

• Saw something you liked in a store but didn’t have enough money to get it? Bam, it’s right there in front of you. Craving a specific food? Here’s five servings of it.

• It gets to the point where you have to tell him to dial it back a bit, because getting everything you want whenever you want it can start to make life a bit anticlimactic.

• On a more serious note, part of the reason why he gives you so many things is because he’s afraid that you might leave. I mean yeah,he’s an extra-dimensional godlike being, but he’s also very lonely because of this and hasn’t had many serious relationships in his life. This has caused to think that the only way to keep you with him is to grant your every wish. He needs you to reassure him that you love him for who he is, and you don’t need all those things to want to be with him.

• Like Scarab, he can take on a human-like physical form sometimes, though this form is harder for him to maintain as he does it a lot less often than Scarab. In this form, he has dark skin, curly pink hair and bright blue eyes like he usually does, and he wears a comfortable pink kurta and pants.

Neteyam’s snorted and you whined, “Come one, you almost had it!”

He continued to laugh and brought a hand up to his face.

“I’m sorry! I’m sorry. It’s just…The way you explained it. I could tell you were really trying to explain it in a way that you thought I would get.”

Heat crept up to your face and you looked away, a little embarrassed.

“I thought it might help you..,”

Neteyam’s laughing died down and he took your hand in his under the water, feeling a little bad.

“It did, I didn’t mean to make you feel bad. I think it is adorable you are trying to…customise your teachings for me.” He brought your hand up to his chest again and took a deep breath.

“Now, tell me what to do again.”

๑༄ ‧₊˚ I don’t know about you, but I can totally imagine Lo’ak bringing you things he finds pretty or things he thinks you will find pretty. It might just be me over exaggerating that lone wolf, not-like-other-guys quality about him but in my head, he’s quirky like that

⤷”Lo’ak? Lo’ak!” You called. He was just next to you…Where could he have wondered off to? Leaping over a small creek, you continued to scan the foliage around you maybe to catch a glimpse of him.

The ground was moist beneath you noticed as you sat down, opting to wait for Lo’ak to turn up again like he always did. Your eyes drifted shut and you let yourself away with the gently breeze that combed and wove itself through the tall trees and colourful bushes. So caught up in the environment around you, you didn’t notice the sneaking footsteps behind you.

Lo’ak crept up behind you, a colourful flower in between his fingers. While sneaking through the thicket, he had noticed it and was immediately entranced by it’s delicate petals and long stamen. After sayings a quick prayer to Eywa in exchange for this beautiful gift, he plucked it and made his way back to you.

Now right behind you, he gently picked up the long braid that protected your tsaheylu and wove the stem through the intricately woven hair. You gasped and turned around suddenly, your hair slapping Lo’ak right across the face and he sputtered.

“Oh, Lo’ak! You scared me!” You gasped and punched him pathetically in the arm. He laughed and came to sit next to you.

“There was a flower, a pretty one. I thought you might like it.” He gently picked up the large plait and showed where he had woven the flower through. A smile settled across your lips.

“Thank you, Lo’ak, it’s beautiful.”

Lo’ak said nothing just smiled bashfully and shuffled a bit closer to you, threading his fingers through yours.

JAKE

Words of affirmation & physical touch

๑༄ ‧₊˚ Over the years, the world has worn on Jake. He’s a father and he will stop at nothing to protect his family. He worries, worries, worries CONSTANTLY, so the days where he can let the weight slip from his shoulders and just gather you in his embrace and shower you in gooey loving words feel all the more sweet to him.

⤷“Whose kids are those?” Jake sighed as he fell down next to you. “Not mine, that’s for sure. I was never that hyper as a kid.”

A laugh bubbles up from your stomach as you adjusted Tuk on your chest.

“Are you sure? Maybe they don’t mirror your childhood, but they do remind me of when you first arrived here. All clumsy and eager in your new body.” He laughed at that and wrapped his arm around you.

The sound of the boys in the river playing not far away washes over the two of you both. After a while, you remove Tuktirey from your breast and up to your shoulder to clear her airway of bubbles.

Jake’s eyes lingered on you and his youngest and smiled. He brought a hand up to gently pat her back and Tuk responded with a gurgle. He took her from your arms and lay the baby across his chest, then pulled you closer by the arm around your shoulders.

You nestled yourself into his side and lifted a finger up to stroke your baby’s cheek. She cooed and you both smiled.

“I don’t say it enough but,” you turned your head up to look at your mate, “thank you.”

“For what?”

“For everything. For them-” he looked to the direction of his other children who were still occupied in the stream “-for her-” now looking at Tuk “-Everything. I don’t know where I would be today without you.”

No words were needed after that. As a tear rolled down your cheek, you closed your eyes and rest.

Part one

Summary: Jake and Neytiri took a liking on Y/n, Ronal’s sister. Now it’s time for the Metkayina to accept their request or reject them.

Y/n began hyperventilating, Jake cut off his small theater of whines and crying the moment he knew something was wrong with the Metkayina.

Neytiri also perked at the new thing that was happening. “What happens?” Her thick accent sounded as a wave crashing the sound of the hitched breathing Y/n had in her throat.

Jake and Neytiri panicked while bringing Y/n back. They let her go once she was stable again, they did it try to push themselves into her anymore. She could be overstimulated for everything.

A few days later, Neytiri and Jake could see her perfectly fine. Once, when they were alone in the beach, she approached them. Their eyes shined as they beamed at her, thinking she would accept right away.

“Look guys, I reject your offering. I don’t think this is possible” she said. Neytiri hissed but Jake got an idea. “Let us court you” he blurted out.

Y/n blushed. “We aren’t mating you before courting you, of course” Jake pretended he was being a gentleman. “Exactly, we will court you and we will show you how deep is our love” neytiri smiled.

“Your love?” Y/n asked, dumbfounded. “Honey, our feelings are as deep as the sea” Jake said, taking her hand in his “and we will prove it”. His smiled showed his fangs, reminding Y/n the way they acted a few nights before.

For the next week, Y/n got all types of gifts, freshly fished fish, beautiful shells, necklaces and bracelets of all shorts ( all of them handmade by Neytiri). Sometimes it was the omatikaya couple who gifted them directly to Y/n. Sometimes they sent the kids, all of them with the mission of convincing her.

Neteyam wasn’t too fond of the idea of manipulating this poor Metkayina into his parents’ married life. But he had no choice. He was sweet with her and always said he would love to have her in his family.

Kiri adored the softness of Y/n and she was eager to convince her. Obviously she didn’t think of this as manipulation.

Lo’ak was too busy with Tsireya to do anything. But when he was sent, Tsireya and him would come to your marui to give you the gifts and both of them would try to convince you. Would you say no to your future step-child and your nephew?

Tuk was the definitive weapon. Her cuteness making you swoon and coo at her. She knew her parents loved Y/n and she wanted Y/n to be her second mommy.

Soon Y/n was starting to get giggly near them, fidgeting nervously when they talked to her. They knew she was falling right into the trap.

One day, they took her to the underwater tree of souls and asked her to mate them. Y/n hesitated.

“After everything we’ve done for you, why would you say no?” Neytiri taunted, a knowing smile on her face.

Y/n grew nervous, she didn’t notice how they were manipulating her, using everything nice they had done for her against her.

“Don’t you love us now?” Jake asked, his puppy look not failing to make Y/n shiver. “I do” she smiled.

“I have fallen in love with you” she said. She remembered how no one had tried to court her the way they did.

Jake and Neytiri smiled knowingly between them. After that, they all connected their braids, creating a bond between the three of them. Making Y/n a Sully.

it's such a lovely thing, you can't help but laugh out of happiness every time you get another one of heeseung's handwritten cards. you think it's silly (obviously in a loving and positive way) every time you open the card and see that there's a block of handwritten text dedicated to you. you think it's silly until you read heeseung's short love poems for you at the end, and you can feel your heart doing literal backflips. either he has a way with words, or you're just insanely and hopelessly in love with him (probably both). most of the time, though (more like always), he insists you read them when he's not there - which you can understand, and therefore do. the only problem with it is that, once you're done, you can't kiss or hug him like you desperately want to every time. and well, heeseung's only problem is that, no matter how insanely beautifully he writes those texts for you, and how much he pours his heart into it, he knows there won't ever be a word to do his love for you justice. hell, there will never even be anything that comes close to putting how much he loves you into words. that's probably why he takes his time with the cards too - he wants them to be perfect, knowing you keep and reread every single one over time. and every time you intimately kiss him without saying a word as a really heartfelt thank you, he feels like writing them for you until the day he dies.

from necklaces, to earrings, bracelets and rings - after a while, you almost lost count as to how many things jay has gifted you by now. you love jewelry; even more when it's something jay bought you. some people would find it rather too materialistic and simple, but for you, it's like you're wearing a tiny reminder that jay loves you - no matter what kind of jewelry you put on that day. especially when you know how picky he can get, only wanting the best things for his love; so he often takes his time when choosing what to buy you. and because they're quite on the expensive side, you always try to make sure you're taking care of them well; just looking at the way you put them in your jewelry box in the neatest way possible so they won't get tangled up alone. you try your best to take care of them, despite wearing something out of your little collection basically everyday. and with time, you eventually learned to stop feeling bad about how expensive these things must be - knowing jay would literally give you the world and more if he could. although sometimes you still feel a tad bit bad, you just appreciate every yet so tiny piece he gives you so much. jay absolutely loves seeing you wear whatever jewelry he got you one day, as it brings a tiny smile to his face that he tries to hide every time.

usually, you'd go shopping together at any given chance. but when jake is at the mall by himself and quickly (mostly randomly) goes into some stores and does end up buying clothes, he finds himself buying clothes he thinks would look good on you as well, or just clothes you'd probably like and wear regularly. technically, it's (probably) not a 'classic' gift for many people; but as you both share a big interest in fashion and definitely influence each other's style in a way, you'd go as far as seeing the clothes he buys for you specifically as unspoken gifts every now and then. and well, like nine out of ten times, the things he buys actually end up in your closet (like the rest of the clothes you bought together, or he simply bought for you). jake absolutely loves seeing you wear the things he bought you - and it's hard for you to not notice that, with the way a big smile forms on his face when he sees what you're wearing. and without denying, you love it just as much, possibly even more. it's something so simple, and maybe rather small to other people, but you two always have and will cherish it.

it's the classic gesture, but that definitely doesn't make any flower sunghoon brings home to you any less special. it started with - and also still is - most of the time a whole bouquet of flowers, where he (most likely) handpicked which flowers would go in the bouquet to make it perfect. or at least as perfect as possible, according to himself. from classic roses and peonies, to colorful lilies, tulips, pink carnations, dahlias and so many more - you've seen them all, and you've seen them in every color there is. however, when it's not a bouquet, it's something simple like a few flowers he picked up on the way home. like, literally, just a tiny set of random flowers he thought you'd like and therefore keep - because after a while, he realized that he doesn't need to go all out with big bouquets all the time, but small things like four to five small flowers would make your heart flutter, too. a few daisies and verbenas or whatever else there might be on the way home are enough, he realized. it's the simple fact that he takes time out of his day to put together a bouquet of flowers just for you, or simply stops on his way home to pick some up because you crossed his mind once again. and, really; you grew to love flowers because of it. every single one you see now reminds you of sunghoon, and all the countless times he walked through the door with at least one flower for you. there won't ever be a day where a smile won't grace your face instantly when sunghoon, yet again, walks through the door with another flower or a whole bouquet as a surprise for you.

surely, you would have a collection with the amount of beaded pieces of jewelry sunoo has given you over time. whether it be necklaces, bracelets, or even rings - he made sure to cover everything, so you'd have quite the collection! sunoo loves to wear his own beaded jewelry whenever he gets the chance to, but nothing compares to the feeling and smile on his face when he sees you wear it. especially when (weirdly enough) it's not even outside, - although, he must admit, he absolutely loves when you wear it outside too - but rather when you just wear one/a few pieces casually and on the daily, barely ever taking it/them off; even if you're just home during that time. he knows what you like, so he simply puts your favourite color/s together, colors that he knows would go well with your wardrobe or simply color that are easy to style with any outfit. and you can trust him that whatever he makes, will look insanely good - perfect, even. hell, if you didn't know any better, you'd think he's been doing it for years and might even sell them. but imagine your major surprise when he told you that it's 'just' one of his dearest hobbies. and the look in your eyes, when he added that he felt like sharing it with you.

buying matching items

whatever he buys, he will look for a matching piece to it. not something too obvious, though. nothing that screams that you two are a couple, but rather something vague, and simple. most of the time even something small; like if he finds a bracelet he likes, he looks for the same one, but just in a different color (possibly your favorite), so that you could have something small to match with. it can be jewelry, a keychain, a cute charm, or even something as silly as vaguely matching pajamas - mostly wearable stuff. whether it be worn outside or only at home, jungwon doesn't miss an opportunity to buy something that matches somehow. and of course, you can't help but smile with him when he shows you what he got - for both of you. it's cute, really, and you both always agree to keep the two items in the same place, so you definitely won't lose your matching piece. and you especially love it when, like nine out of ten times, you decide to wear whatever you have on the same day; so you can, even when you're not together, still match with at least one item that no one else will even notice. and maybe that's also what makes it special; it's really vague stuff, so nobody else would ever know or guess, but you both know that although you're not together that day, you have something that still connects you.

self made things

when riki gifts you something self made, best bet he will get creative as hell with it. while he could quite literally gift you a piece of paper with a heart on it (and you'd probably frame it), he tends to take his time to really make something out of it. most of the time it's paintings (whether it be somewhat big or smaller ones), which is already insane to you, considering he's really just talented like that. what you always like about his paintings, - beside the fact that they look like they're straight out of a museum every time - are the details and how much thought he put into it; always explaining each and every detail from his initial inspiration to verbally guiding you through his thought process. the way you always switch between admiring the artwork and him while he's explaining it all to you might be the reason why he keeps doing it, but he'd never tell you that with words - his art speaks enough. however, it can also be something small, yet still thoughtful and creative, like origami - which you ended up loving, so he kinda stuck with it. and god, riki thought his first origami looked so unbelievably tacky, but he still decided to gift it to you (recalling how you'd literally keep and frame a piece of paper with a heart on it, mind you); he figured you'd still like it. yet when he saw your eyes light up at the, according to him, 'tacky' origami flower, a huge smile graced his face and he fell in love all over again. the paper flower looked literally perfect to you, and you were convinced that he couldn't get any better than that - but hell, he did; which still leaves you speechless every time. from all kinds of flowers, to several colorful butterflies, your favorite animals, different sized hearts and whatever else he could make after watching a million tutorials. you had already admired him in every way possible, but whenever he stands in your door frame with another creative, self made gift for you, you simply find yourself at a loss for words - while admiring both, riki and the artwork in his hands, which he's showing you so proudly with a smile on his face.

They’re reminders of things you mentioned to him that you were afraid you might forget about, and things you told him you needed to do. Often times, it would just have some phrase like “Your welcome! <3” or “I was here fyi and I did some things for youu -their name <3” Also helps you with chores a lot even though you’ve told him he doesn’t need to. On some days, when he knows you’re stressed/tired, he brings you breakfast in bed, or sometimes brunch. Even if he’s not a good cook, or even if he is, he loves to try and cook u a meal. Definitely a believer that actions speak louder than words, and he can and will prove it to you without you even noticing it. Physically can’t show his love using words or gestures. This guy is no sweetheart with words nor is he a romantic when it comes to being in a somewhat committed relationship. Which is why— he does try to make up for it by buying presents to surprise you with. Specifically purchases objects that immediately reminded him of you when he first saw it. Isn’t used to showing the kind of affection that involves stepping out of their comfort zone. He js can’t get used to showing his love in any other way, yet this man still tries to bring something other than money spending to your guys’ relationship. It’s almost like this man was deprived of physical touch. Like, he can’t keep his hands off of you, even for a single moment. What the kids collect:

Tuk-Tuk collects little shiny rocks she finds. The most special ones are kept in a pouch that either stays with her all the time or her dad because ‘he’s the best at keeping things safe.’ Sometimes she uses her special rocks in weaving projects to give to gifts to her friends and family!

Kiri collects anything and everything. Flowers, funny shaped leaves, loose buttons and bolts from Hell’s Gate, anything she can fit into her pouch. Lo’ak thinks it’s weird, but whenever he sees something he thinks Kiri would like he grabs it and gifts it to her.

Neteyam collects bones and claws. The reason Neteyam started collecting them was because he loved pretending he was an palulukan as a kid. He mostly uses them to make accessories, mostly for himself, his mom, and his grandmother.

Lo’ak doesn’t have a physical collection, but everytime he hears a human swear word he keeps it in his head and will definitely integrate it into his speech pattern. He learned some cuss words in sign language which was great because his dad never understood what he was saying (until Norm totally ratted him out)

Spider collects beads. His very favorites either get used in his songcord or put into his hair. He loves the earth-toned ones the most, but sometimes he gives them away as gifts to Kiri because she loves them too. Jake always gives him random beads here and there and Spider covets them.

Tsireya collects oddly shaped seashells. She adores anything that others think as ugly and will show them to anyone who shows a mild interest. Aonung and Lo’ak help contribute to her collection quite a bit.

Aonung collects broken seashells. They’re not great for much use, but he likes seeing the cracks and lines that formed from the break. He keeps them in a small basket and sometimes likes to put them in a pouch tied to his loincloth because he loves the clinking sounds they make while he walks around the village .

summary: your handsome one night stand that blew your mind turns out to be the silent guy at work that you didn’t even realize his existence.

warnings: angst, jake being an asshole, explicit language, cursing, mentions of cheating & trauma. bad parenting. making out, smut, revenge, jealousy. sunghoon & sooha (yes sooha) mentioned. jake had the worst nightmare that night, the night where the girl he liked so much wasn’t sleeping next to him, and wasn't cuddling into his side in her sleep without realizing it. you did tell him you even miss him in your sleep, the connection you had was so pure and obvious, both of you didn’t care about how many days you spent together. you liked each other.

but what jake dreamed that night was just another alert from making him move on, with all the other fucked up things going on his life with his family and his job. he woke up with sweat dripping from his forehead, he hated seeing them haunting him even in his sleep. he wanted them gone.

he wanted his past gone.

he is just a child, so young to understand anything that is happening around him yet, he remembers his father giving him expensive toys even when it’s not special days. he remembers playing with his toys all alone by himself, he remembers wanting to share his happiness with the people who gifted it to him, but they are not around.

when the pattern keeps happening and jake grows to be older, he realizes gifts are actually a bad thing, because his parents kept disappearing every time he received one. he remembers his mother giving him the toy car and tells him they will be away for a while, leaving him alone in the house with few nannies and workers, he stays in his room and plays with the car, making noises and dialogues on his own, until one day he broke down and cried.

jake doesn’t understand why he is crying, as a child it seems so weird to him that he had the urge to cry when no one was taking his toys away from him or when he wasn’t on the ground hurting his knee. but he still cries, because he feels like a burden in his own home, feeling unwanted by his parents by the bribes they give him as toys.

he grows up to be rebel kid, he doesn’t want to share his toys with people, or doesn’t love his friends when they see them with their parents, because his parents are never present at any meeting at the school or playground, he is always accompanied by his nanny or the driver who takes him to school every morning. this makes jake an even angrier kid, he keeps causing problem at the school and his parents solve the problem by sending him to australia to study middle school and the rest of his education, instead of doing what they have to do, giving their son the love he deserves.

jake is definitely a problem through his school years and he keeps being a problem until he becomes an college student. he gets his revenge on his parents his own way, spending all the money they sent him for school on parties, alcohol, renting sports cars and sometimes even drugs. he is the epitome of the bad boy, he gets along with girls a lot and hooks up with them, being a heartbreaker. because, he never received love, how can he understand if someone happened to love him?

in the second year of college he meets his friend group, koreans just like him, one is born and raised in america but he decided to study in australia.

jay, sunghoon and sooha. the only girl amongst them.

their friendship and their bond gets stronger everyday, they are inseparable at this point. they do all the maniac stupid shit with jake and they have the time of their lives until one of them starts catching feelings.

jake falls hard for sooha, to her antics and the way she lives life so freely without being scared, the way she sits next to him in the sports cars he rents as he drive, he knows she was meant for him and had to be his. jake is not wrong about his feelings, one day at a party sooha pulls him into a room, and kisses him passionately, jake wonders if she is drunk but she is sober. he lets her do whatever she wants to him, being a slave to her words and actions as she sits prettily on his dick and kisses her way down to his chest. he doesn’t believe this is all real.

the girl he liked, liked him back.

jake gets all love drunk around her, giving her his everything in every way. he is willing to give his life for her if she asks for him to. sooha, really loves jake too, she loves when his boyfriend spends the nights in her dorm, even when he had his huge place that is definitely shouldn’t be called a student house, jake goes and pushes himself next to hers single person bed, to be able to wrap her around in his arms, to be able to kiss her in her sleep and make her feel loved.

sooha appreciates jake but when he was sick one day and couldn't make it to the school, sunghoon crosses her way, pulling her into the boy’s locker room. sooha gets scared that something happened to jake, he is his best friend after all. but she gots puzzled when sunghoon kisses her, but she doesn’t push him back, instead she kisses him back, enjoying his lips on hers and his crotch against hers as he pushes him to the locker and pulls her skirt apart to fuck his best friend’s girl.

jay, who was out of class, is on the phone with jake and asking him what kind of ramen he should bring to him today because he is sick, wants to have a little sweat in the gym before he goes back to their place. only to see his best friends betraying his other best friend.

he screams sunghoon’s name, pulling them apart and sooha cries, falls onto her knees in front of jay, begging for him to not tell jake anything and swears it is a one time things. jay makes a mistake and believes them, but never being close to them as he used to be. everytime they hang out together, he looks at sunghoon with despise and jake is clueless as he has his girl on his lap, unaware of everything as he kisses her lips.

saying it’s a one time thing to jay, she lies, she tells jake she will be studying because her classes are getting harder and declines his offers to hang out, instead she goes out with sunghoon and shamelessly goes to jake’s place afterwards cause the dorm is not letting her in such late hours. she wakes up jake and cuddles next to him, jay understands she was with sunghoon but can’t say anything to his friend.

one day, when sooha was with him only at a late time at night, she goes to use the bathroom and forgets her phone on jake’s bed. he loves his girlfriend and trusts her but he can’t help but grab it, figuring out the password.

he sees loads of messages and sexts and even pictures being sent to another guy, he feels like he can’t breathe and he falls onto his knees, before jay realizes and rushes into his room, seeing his friend crying he immediately understands.

when sooha comes out from the bathroom, she meets with jake’s red eyes, with her phone in his hand, and jay behind jake, obviously told him everything that he didn’t know until this time.

with that, sooha and sunghoon disappears from their life, along with jake’s trust to be able to love again and his belief about being lovable. he returns to himself, a darkness surrounds his aura and he becomes the person he was 3 years ago, he poisons himself to not going to love anyone again.

he wasn’t going to let his heart break into pieces again.

your day started ‘amazingly’ when you were woken up by an arm slapping over your face, making you moan in pain but the owner of the arm was still in dreamland even with the noise you made.

“oh my god.” you rolled your eyes, trying to forget about the pain with his smack on your face, you tried to lift his arm off your face. “jay, can you please wake up? you are suffocating me!” you yelled at him in whisper tone, the boy finally fluttering his eyelids to wake up from his sleep. he saw your blurry face in his vision, and then his arm on your neck as his cheek was squished to his pillow, he hopped up quickly once he realized he looked extremely stupid, probably salivating on his pillow.

“oh my god, y/n, hey!” he scratched the back of his neck as you kept laying down, staring at him in confusion. when you see a pink tint getting all over his cheeks, you couldn’t help but giggle.

he covered his face immediately when you unexpectedly started laughing at him, “god, there are nicer ways of saying i look bad when i wake up.”

you rolled over and put your hands over his, pulling them down to look at his morning face, which was way far away from bed, he looked adorable.

“what?” he shyly smiled, when you stared at him, he remembered your stare in jake’s room too which made him all excited. you looked stunning even when you just woken up and your hair all messy, he doesn't remember seeing someone prettier than you. he coughed to gather his thoughts and not actually zone out at your pretty face.

“do you wanna take a shower or anything?”

you stumbled in your own place, that just doesn’t feel right so you just nodded your head. “i’m good, thanks.”

“do you wanna go grab some coffee then?” he asked this time, getting up from the bed before you, “that i can’t say no to.”

in the coffee shop, jay made you sit in a quiet place, especially away from noisy students as he grabbed both of you your coffees. he smiled when he put yours down in front of you.

“you drink it the same way jake does.” he commented before he seated himself across you.

“he does?” you smiled bitterly.

jay only nodded before he took a sip from his coffee. he wanted to talk to you but he doesn’t know how your relationship was with jake, so he couldn’t pick his words in his mind cleverly. he was also scared of hurting you or making you cry.

“so… this situation with jake…started at work, right?”

you nodded your head to sides, “no.”

jay raised his eyebrows, “then where?”

you sipped from your coffee as you shrugged, “at the club of his hotel.”

jay tapped his chin with his fingers as he watched outside and thinked for a moment. “must have been weird seeing him there like that.”

you copied him as you turned your face to the glass window of the coffee shop, watching the outside, “why would it be weird?” you smiled half, remembering the first time you ever saw jake.

jay squinted his eyes, getting weirded out at your reply.

“i don’t know? you are the one fucking your boss.”

with the words that came out from jay’s mouth, you blinked a few times. your heart started racing in an irregular pace, and your palms were getting sweaty with every second that has passed in the silence. the words were processing in your mind, they were replaying all over when you sat there, shocked at jay’s comment.

“y/n?” he waved his hand above your face to get your attention.

“i am fucking who?”

jay gulped loudly, looking away from you in panic, as he mumbled, “… you didn’t know…”

“i didn’t know what, jay?” you raised your voice, looking at his eyes furiously, he never thought a woman like you could have such intimidating eyes.

“i thought you knew, fuck.” he put his head in his palms, rubbing his temples as he thinked of a way to get out of this and save his friend’s secret that he just slipped out from his mouth.

“tell me everything, now.” your tone was demanding and very serious, god help the man who would not listen to you, he had to spill everything to you and he knew it.

“he is sim jaeyun…”

sim jaeyun… son of mr. sim, the founder of the company you worked for, you kept hearing rumors about his son coming for his throne but he kept him from the media a secret. the only thing everyone knew was jaeyun was going to take over the company soon and it was announced a month ago.

the day when jake started working in the company.

“but… he is, you know he is working as a rookie engineer right?” you ask jay in shock, not understanding what was exactly on jake’s mind when he had the chance to rule an empire that all belonged to him.

jay let out a sigh, “he never wanted it, but his dad is making decisions on his own. i remember him saying he accepted to work there only with one condition and … fuck, now i understand what he meant.” jay let out a whine, feeling guilty for telling you all this.

“jay, i am so lost…” you mumbled, wanting him to give you a solid explanation of what was going on.

“believe me, it’s better if he tells you everything on his own.”

you got up from your chair, leaving the half empty coffee cup on the table. “i will go find out myself then.”

when you were about to turn around and walk away to leave jay all alone there, he grabbed your wrist and turned you to himself, your breath hitching in your throat when his face was dangerously close to yours.

“if anything goes wrong, i am here.”

you gulped loudly, only being able to nod your head in tiny movements before you slowly get out of his grip and run to the front door to get a taxi.

jay felt like a douchebag, sitting back to his place, he felt like sunghoon… but did jake know your worth? was jake aware of he was going to hurt the most beautiful thing he ever seen? he grounded himself by telling he is not sunghoon, he destroyed something beautiful that jake had.

jay was just saving something beautiful from jake’s hands, someone he couldn’t ignore his feelings for.

being in the elevator to room 515, you felt your heart was being squeezed in someone’s hands, you were confused and all over the place. you knew jake kept a secret but this was a really big one and he literally didn’t even bother to tell you before he fucked you?

you weren’t his co-worker, you were his employee.

you understood he was maybe running away from the possibility of you turning out to be a gold digger or telling his secret to everyone but still, you thought your relationship was better than this.

you furiously banged on his door, your hand hurting from the forceful fists you were throwing. it only took few seconds until jake appeared in front of you, last thing he was expecting was to see you after his fucked up and tasteless sleep.

“y/n, why are you here?” he stared at you, annoyed and confused, but you pushed him from his chest to inside and closed the door behind yourself.

“did you enjoy your cinderella story you played, sim jaeyun?”

he blinked a few times, hearing his real name spilling from your lips, he never thought he would hear it from you.

“did you enjoy fucking your employee when i thought you were just a miserable tech guy at work?!” you spat your words against his face, not holding back anything from the immense anger that pumped through your veins.

“did you enjoy playing the best of both worlds? is this how you get girls? you act like you are no one, then you break the news to them?”

he got closer to you with anger shooting from his eyes, you wanted to take a step back because you were lowkey scared. “what the fuck are you on about?”

you tried to look brave and grounded, “i know who you are, i know your secret, jaeyun. or wait, is this your real name or is there going to be another one again?”

“stop calling me jaeyun, y/n.” he hissed, talking between his teeth as his one hand grabbed your arm, “how did you find out about me?”

his hold on your arm was soft, you know he would never hurt you. but you still wanted his hands off you after feeling like played once again by him.

“jay.” you mumbled, which made jake go into hysterical laughter, each following the other with more force, you thought he was going crazy. “jay?” he licked his lips, staring at your eyes.

“did you run to jay the moment you understood you won’t get fucked by me?” he smirked, not breaking eye contact.

“how dare you say that?” your voice sounded hurt, what did he think you exactly were? did he think you were a girl who only sleeps around with men because you wanted to satisfy yourself? was he blind enough to not see how miserably in love you were with him.

“you are wearing the same clothes… seems like you had fun with him.”

you didn’t answer him, or begged him to confess your innocence, you just stared at him with empty and pathetic eyes.

“did he fuck you like i did?” he talked in despise, “did you cry from pleasure thinking you got lucky for being dumped by me—

you slapped him, not taking any of his bullshit, your eyes welled up with tears, rolling down from your cheeks as you saw his cheek getting red from your hand. meanwhile jake, was already regretting his words, the words that came out from his mouth with all the hate he had towards his past. he knew you weren’t sooha, and jay wasn’t sunghoon, but he felt like it was the same thing happening all over again.

“do you remember when i said, i will make you regret losing me?” you talked silently, your voice barely audible. you looked up and stared at his eyes, which was filled with tears and getting red.

“i didn’t fuck your best friend, and i don’t know what makes you think i am that low…” you got closer to him, gripping his chin between your fingers, “but now watch me become the woman you think i am in your head.”

you pushed him away from his face, he stumbled and fell to his bed, you heard a sob coming from his throat that he tried to deny so badly.

he sat there, watching you slip from his hands, what did he expect when he was the one to tell you to leave him alone. why he thought you would stay and beg for his love when you were the most beautiful thing ever.

you weren’t sooha, you were better.

and you deserved better, someone like jay.

he didn’t open his mouth, he didn’t dare to say one word to you when you opened the door and looked at him one last time with pity eyes. he looked at the woman he knew he loved and thinked about his friend who he probably will lose forever after this, and it was all because of him, he couldn’t get mad at jay for liking you.

“i hope one day you’ll find someone who makes you feel loved, jake.”

on your way to jay, you sobbed in the cab you were in, you were going to become a woman you never were, and you hated it, but your mind and heart burned with the urge to get revenge on jake, to make him feel as devastated as you felt.

jay was waiting for you in his house he owned, not his parents' one, he sent you the address the moment he heard you on the phone, obviously crying.

you got out of the cab after handing the man extra money for listening to your ugly crying on the way and you walked up to the residence that jay apparently stayed in. the receptionist led you to the elevator and the ride seemed like forever as you went up to the top floor where the penthouses were located at.

even though you weren’t one, you did felt like a gold digger, between jake’s fancy hotel suite that he rented for an indefinite time and jay’s single boy crib that probably costed millions. you took a deep breath, when you saw him staring at you with soft eyes, waiting for you in front of his door, god knows for how many minutes now.

you start walking towards him, your steps getting faster each time as you get closer to jay, he gets nervous and lift his body up from where he was leaning against, your arms wrap around his neck and your lips crash into his, as his hands were still in his pockets, his lips not moving against yours as he was in shock of your mouth contacting his.

you break the kiss, and look at him with teary eyes, he was taller than jake so you had to tilt your head back a little more to stare at his eyes.

“do you remember when you said, if anything goes wrong…” he cut your words to continue himself,

“i am here for you, y/n.”

you smiled, as he leaned down to kiss you, connecting your lips in a soft yet forceful kiss, feeling your pink puffy lips against his as he kissed you. his hands held you from your waist, pulling you inside gently and his one hand closed his front door, leaning his back to it, for you to lean into his chest. your knee found his place between his legs, trying to feel him as you pushed it upwards a little, eliciting a deep moan from his throat before you took off your coat and let it down to the floor.

his hold on your waist tightened, as he pushed your body closer to his, he snaked his arms around your waist and held you close, leaning down to kiss your neck. you tilted your head to the side to give him more space, his soft lips felt so good against your skin, you bit your lips as he gently sucked your skin.

you pulled him from his t-shirt from the door he was leaning against, tangling your fingers into his hair to kiss him again, when his strong arms were like a belt around your waist. the kiss got way heated than the previous one, his tongue caressing yours as you let him in your mouth, saliva dripping down your chip from how hard he was kissing you.

he leaded you to his living room, laying your back on the couch, as he got on top between your legs, kissing down your chest as he opened the buttons of your shirt, moving along as new skin got exposed to his eyes. you whined, feeling his lips at your stomach because he blew some air between kisses, which tickled you. he smiled, going upwards with his lips, attaching them to your collarbones as he got you out from your shirt.

you felt jay’s teeth digging into your bone, which you reacted with a pained moan, immediately making him look up at you and putting his both hands on your cheek to caress your skin. “did i hurt you?” he asked worriedly, which made your heart warm at how soft he was being to you.

“no.” you pulled him from his neck to your lips, enjoying the taste of him in your mouth for a while, as he kissed you back passionately. “i want it to hurt.” you moaned between kisses, leaving him dazed on top of you.

what you wanted from jay was nothing new to him, it wasn’t the first time a girl asked him to hurt them but when it was you, how was he able to hurt you? you seemed so fragile and beautiful… only if he knew how jake treated you in bed, maybe he would have changed his mind.

“y/n… i—, i don’t know if i can.” he whispered against your lips, feeling not enough for you.

you cried out of frustration, your hands tugging on the hairs on the nape of his neck as you pressed kisses on his mouth randomly, “please, jay, i need you to hurt me so bad, please…”

he swallowed hard, taking in your request, being conflicted about what to do. he didn’t know if you were asking him to feel good, or you were looking for someone else in jay, … looking for his best friend.

“you don’t need to be hurt to feel loved.” he kissed your cheekbone, and then under your ear. “let me love you right tonight, y/n.”

you cried at the words you wished to hear from jake that was spilling from jay’s mouth, you only nodded, hugging him again as you connected your lips to kiss. your tears were wetting his cheeks, he hated that you were crying but he wanted to prove you that you were worth loving and fighting for.

jay got rid of his shirt and let it fall to the floor before he leaned back in, his fingers fiddling behind your back and unhooking your bra easily. he slid the stripes down your shoulders, kissing your skin as he got rid of the tiny bit of clothing before he pressed his chest to yours, your bare body connecting to his warm skin. he latched his lips to your neck again, when your legs curled around his waist, letting out moans to his tongue licking your skin so deliciously.

his crotch was rubbing against yours, he was obviously getting worked up from all the kissing and you appreciated him for letting you take your frustration out of him. you didn’t know if he really liked you or not, but you didn’t even care at this point. you wanted to hurt jake and the way you were doing it was something he couldn’t believe that it was happening again.

jay’s fingers gripped on your skirt, pulling it down slowly from your legs, your panties are on and wet, you thanked yourself for not taking jake’s words seriously and going to his place without wearing one. he hooked his finger to the strip of the material, caressing the side of your hip lovingly, as he kissed the corner of your lip.

“are you sure about this?”

the thing is, you wanted jake to cry. you wanted him to cry for you and you wanted him to regret losing you. and the way he reacted to the possibility of jay and you fucking riled him up so badly, you saw it with your own eyes. you stared at his eyes, not knowing how to answer him.

jake sat uncomfortably on the expensive couch her mother owned in their living room which is the same room he spent his childhood all alone, playing with his pricy toys they gifted him before they left. he scanned his parents’ and rolled his eyes at their stare on him, already getting bored of being in their presence.

“what do you want from me?” he said with no emotion to his words, already wanting to go to his place, he already had too much in his mind, he couldn’t deal with them right now. his dad cleared his throat, he wanted to yell and scream at his son like he always did but he tried to be softer since the situation was more serious than the previous ones.

“jaeyun, i saw your tickets.” his father talked, obviously he was tracking his son’s every move since he came back to korea. jaeyun’s dad only wanted one thing, and that was jaeyun to take over the company and live his life as a retired man. jaeyun remembered himself as a kid, their parents talking about how they had a son, only to leave their empire to once they get older. he was just a tool for them, to keep their name live forever, they shared blood and name, but they didn’t shared anything else.

“yeah, i am leaving.” he shrugged, his mom shedding tears because her son was leaving again which jaeyun knew was all fake and part of her manipulations.

“why are you crying?” jaeyun tsked, looking at his mother. “did you realize you have a son now?”

her mouth opened with a loud gasp, her eyes crunching up at his words, “jaeyun, don’t say that.” she cried louder, going up to her son but he turned his face away, not accepting her touch.

“son, i built this empire for you.” his father talked, even now he was sitting far away from him. they never acted like his actual parents, they always sat far away from him, even when they ate dinner. there was always distance between them.

“sell it to someone else then, i don’t want it.”

“how dare you say that, you little—“ he raised his voice to him but his mother calmed him down, patting his shoulders to relax him.

“i found a new job in milan, and i am leaving. want it or not, you will never see me again.” he got up from his chair, walking himself to the front door of their house.

“i will help you with one thing though, you can use my name as the ceo if you want, just hire someone else instead.” he smirked, “wouldn’t want people to boo a 60 year old guy for lying.”

he stood up, wanting to yell but his mother made him sit down, calming him once again. she turned around and looked at his son’s smug smile at the door.

“leave, jaeyun.” she talked, just like what he expected before he got into his sports car and drove back to the hotel. he blasted his favorite songs in the highest volume possible, screaming and shouting, feeling free.

he stopped somewhere near han river, take in the city lights, and people walking around and cycling, as he silently sat on a corner that no one can notice. he pulled his knees to his chest, like he did in his childhood when he was alone and watched happy people around him.

couples who shared ice creams, family’s laughing with their kids, students still in their uniforms walking around. life seemed so easy watching them, he wanted to cry at his own.

why everything had to be so complicated for him?

he got in his car after sitting there for a while, taking a last memory picture of the city he was born in. he never wanted to come back here again. only thing beautiful in this city was you, and you were not his. he had nothing to do with seoul anymore.

he drove back to his hotel and parked his car where he usually does, he was going to leave his suite that costed millions to his dad tomorrow. he was ready to go to milan and earn his own money and start a new life, he wished you were in it.

when he entered the lobby and saw the familiar faces of the lobby guy smiling at him like he always does and the receptionist girl. he was going to walk to the elevator when he saw a similar silhouette sitting on one of the fancy couches that was located in the lobby.

his heart raced faster and pounded louder than it ever did, when he saw you sitting, your head between your hands as you curled up.

“y/n?” his voice sounded weak, like he wasn’t the one throwing hateful words towards you and making you cry. he hated himself for making you cry so badly.

you lifted your head from your knees, your eyes red and puffy from crying, your mascara smudged to your cheeks. he stared down at you, not understanding a thing why you were here, and how to react to you being there.

“i need you jake.” you talked, wiping away your tear as you stood up from the chair you were sitting on.

“because i fell in love with you.”
