Boyfriend! Neteyam hcs
All under the cut
Rating- E
Definitely so super nonchalant in the beginning
is trying so hard to seem like he knows what he’s doing
He does not
As y’all ease into it tho he def gets more open about what he wants and likes
Going from a “yeah if you want to” guy to a “I will not take another step until you’re hand is in mine”
Despite not having lots of dating experience he does have lots of flirting experience I mean look at him the whole village has tried get at his ass
Smooth as fuck when he wants to be I promise you
You flirting back tho?
“Is it hot in here? I feel like the temperature is rising?”
Can’t take it, wink or even flutter you’re eyes at him and it’s a wrap
Clutching his chest, pretending to get light headed,he doesn’t know how to act
He especially doesn’t know how to act when he’s jealous cause like he isn’t used to feeling that
Neteyam is the oldest, and practically considered royal. Bro had everything first and can get most things with smile and good manners
So him being jealous wether it’s someone else having your attention or someone garnering for it
He is just as confused as you are practically
Def gives dirty looks like mean dirty looks (him and his brother got a nasty side eye)
Is not afraid to walk up to you and whoever you’re with that’s pissing him off and excuse the both of y’all
Jealousy fueled make out sessions !!!
He got that nice tight grip on your waist with one hand and the other is right behind your head like top of your neck just moving your head in sync with however he feels like kissing you
Same thing if he’s stressed like don’t worry about thinking for yourself for a bit cause he’s gonna do all the work and he’s gonna be doing it for a while
Usually though making out with him is so gentle and slow and just sensual even if it doesn’t lead to anything more
Neteyam lives such a fast paced life that he loves to take his time with you when he can
Brushing hair out of your face, holding you gently by the front of your neck(with those big ol hand lawd)
So respectful too he never lets his hands roam until yours start to cause then he feels like it’s even ground lol
Normal kisses are pretty soft too for the most part
A peck on the cheek or your temple
Definitely kisses your knuckles and fingertips, don’t play
Though I feel like he’s not big on PDA
people are always watching him considering he’s next in line for head honcho duty so I think he likes to keep as much of his life private as he can
Private doesn’t mean secret though cause trust he’ll make people know that you’re his, he’s just not boutta be all over you all the time.
So good at giving back messages
Loves to play with your hair at night before bed
Look at that man and tell me he doesn’t have a bed time skin care routine
Idek if na’vi have skin care but looking at him you’d think so
And if you didn’t have one before him you will after
It’s y’all’s time to wind down before bed
Big blanket hog so be ready to fight if you wanna stay warm
Also makes no sense cause he’s a frickin furnace
Def twitches when he sleeps like he’s being electrocuted
at first you thought the little ones were cute but now when he’s practically seizing in bed while taking a nap you just cringe
Shit looks painful
Morning person unfortunately
Will try and make you a morning person but if you aren’t just get grouchy enough and he’ll figure out to leave you alone for an hour or two
One of those weirdos that likes to work out in the morning
Tries to get you to do it with him
If it works- he’s ecstatic literally loves doing anything with
If it doesn’t- just sit on the sidelines and watch him get all sweaty you can’t loose
Totally knows how to cook, and he loves to make breakfast
Also loves to come back from a hunt and watch you be like “wow you’re so strong baby”
“Heh yeah you know I do what I can” feels like the shit for the next hour until lo’ak bully’s him enough that his head deflates a little bit

A Few More Minutes | Neteyam x gn!reader oneshot
Tumblr media
A/N: I took a month off and cut you bitches some slack. Tell a friend to tell a friend…I’m baaaack (but seriously, sorry I haven’t been posting like at all.) I’ve been working on a lot of stuff, but I’ve just been hitting wall after wall with each of my WIPs, but I read a poem on TikTok the other day called “Would I?” By Orion Carloto in her collection “Film For Her” and this little story popped right out of my head fully formed like Athena, so I hope you enjoy :)
Warnings: mentions of death and grief, mostly just fluff tho
Words: 2.3k
There was a comforting sense of consistency to your mornings. Every day, as Eclipse would end, the clan would collectively begin to stir, shaking off the remnants of sleep to start the day anew. Everyone was ready to manage the work that helped maintain the balance and livelihood of the clan.
It used to be that you were ready and willing to rise at the first sign of light to get things done. Now, you felt as though the end of Eclipse was a cruelty meant to pull you away from the warmth and comfort pressed against you.
Neteyam always woke up before you. You were never sure how long he would lie awake next to you, but every morning without fail, when you began to stir, he was already waiting for you to open your eyes. Many times, you were roused by his subtle movements—his fingers brushing against your cheek, kisses against your forehead, his body turning to press against yours.
That morning, it had been his arm around your waist pulling you closer. You were dimly aware of the small space between you and blindly followed his gentle prompting to curl up at his side. With your eyes still closed, you rolled over and reached your arm across his torso and pulled yourself closer to him.
Your head rested on his chest as his arm wrapped around you. His slow, steady heartbeat was lulling you back to sleep as his fingers gently stroked your back. You were at the cusp of unconsciousness when his deep voice broke the silence, "You need to wake up."
You groaned softly as you pulled yourself as close to his body as possible, one of your legs moving to rest on his. He was so warm, and you were so comfortable that you once again felt spiteful towards the sun for emerging yet again. "I am awake," you murmured, your voice raspy with sleep.
Neteyam gave a little huff of amusement and hummed. "I will know when I see your eyes," he countered. You gave another soft groan. Your eyelids felt impossibly heavy. You tried opening your eyes, but Neteyam's gentle touch and steady heartbeat made it even more difficult for you to shake yourself from your sleepiness.
"I am awake," you repeated, though you knew he wasn't going to let you get away with it. He didn't respond for a moment, and to your disappointment, his hand stopped caressing your back. His lips pressed against your forehead before he muttered, "You have to prove it."
You buried your face into his neck in protest. He chuckled softly, and you felt him press another kiss to your temple. "Come on now," he whispered, his lips right next to your ear. "You need to wake up." You heaved a large sigh and grunted in defiance.
In response, Neteyam brushed his fingers over your cheek. You could feel a subtle smile form on your lips as he traced the edge of your face and down your jaw. His fingers curled under your chin, gently tilting your head up to face him, and he pressed his lips to yours. It was a soft kiss, a lazy one, but you loved it. The hand on your back gripped you a little tighter, and your own hand that was draped over his torso slowly slid up his chest to cradle his face.
This was the surest way to wake you up. It didn't matter how long you had been together or how many kisses you had shared, his lips against yours always made your heart beat a little faster and your breathing quicken a little bit. And if his hands would begin to roam across your body, well, you weren't falling back to sleep.
You pulled apart gently, and you managed to slowly open your eyes to look at him. You had to blink a few times for your vision to clear, and when it did, you could see Neteyam's handsome face gazing down at you with a soft smile.
"There you are," he murmured as his fingers began brushing up and down your back again. You returned his smile and traced your thumb over his cheek. "I told you I’m awake," you replied, sleep still evident in your voice. He hummed in amusement as he look down at you in adoration. "So you did."
You took a minute to admire his face and to appreciate this moment between you. Waking up like this made you dread actually getting up every morning. If you could lay like this for the rest of your life, you would. You cursed the sun for forcing you to leave Neteyam's side every day.
With that thought, you closed your eyes again and rested your head back down on his chest. "Let's stay like this forever," you pleaded quietly. He chuckled at you and pressed his lips to your forehead again. "If only we could," he mused. "But we can stay like this for a few more minutes."
You smiled at your small sense of victory. Under your ear, you could hear his heartbeat again, and your head moved gently with the rise and fall of his chest. His fingers still moved gently over the skin of your back as your breathing eventually began to match his own.
***
In the afternoon, when the day was at its hottest, the clan collectively took time to rest for a small period of time. Some slept, some socialized, and some attended to some easy chores. For you, it didn't matter so long as you were able to spend that time with Neteyam.
You were sitting on the floor as you braided vines into rope when Neteyam finally walked in. You greeted him with a smile and said, "There you are. I haven't seen you all day." He poured himself some water from a basin you kept and replied, "I have been out with my father all morning."
“Doing what?” You asked curiously. He shrugged. “Some scouting,” he replied. “We spotted some smoke in the distance and went to see what it was. There are more Sky People setting up near the southern end of the forest past the river.”
He took a drink and sighed before coming over to sit behind you. Wrapping his arms around your body and pressing a kiss to your neck, he asked, "And how have you been today, my love?" You smiled and let go of the half-finished rope to rest your arms over his. "Horribly lonely without you," you responded dramatically.
Neteyam chuckled in amusement at your theatrics and placed another kiss on your neck. He had been out in the sun all day, and you leaned back against him to enjoy his warmth. "I went hunting with your brother and a few others," you added. He hummed in interest and asked quietly, "Who brought back the most?" "I did," you stated smugly. He hummed again softly and mumbled, "Of course you did."
You turned your head to get a better look at his face. His eyes were closed, and he had a gentle smile on his lips. "Are you tired?" You asked, noting his sleepy expression. His little smile grew just a bit wider as he opened his eyes to look at you again. "A little," he admitted, "but I don't want to sleep. I just want to spend time with you."
You smiled as he kissed your neck again. Turning around, you wrapped your arms around his shoulders and moved to sit on his lap. His hands rested on your thighs as he gazed up at you lovingly. “You are so clingy,” you told him as you rested your forehead against his.
He chuckled and replied, “Yes, I am.” You rolled your eyes at him, but he tilted his head up to meet your lips, and you couldn’t help but melt into him. There was no urgency to your movements. His hands lazily moved up from your thighs to wrap around your torso while you exchanged slow, drawn-out kisses.
You cherished these moments, the few minutes you had to be alone together with no expectations or obligations. Some days, you would both spend time with his family or your family, sometimes with friends, but you both preferred the privacy of your own space to relax for a while before attending to any more work that needed to be done.
Outside, you heard the sounds of others slowly grow louder and busier, indicating that the collective resting time was nearing its end. You felt a jab of disappointment having only spent a few minutes with Neteyam, and soon, you would be expected to go out and continue your day until Eclipse.
Neteyam could sense what you were thinking, and he broke apart from your mouth for a moment. “We don’t have to go out yet,” he murmured softly, his lips brushing against yours. “I know,” you whispered, “but we can’t stay in here forever.” He huffed a small sigh and pressed another gentle kiss to your lips. “Just a few more minutes,” he told you.
You hummed thoughtfully for a second as he proceeded to kiss you again. “Okay,” you conceded with a smile. “Just a few more minutes.”

The day Mo'at died, the whole clan grieved. Being tsahik meant that she had been the mother of the clan, the bridge between Eywa and the people. She had passed in the early morning, which allowed time for the Sullys to mourn together and prepare her body for the burial.
In the late evening light, the clan was gathered around the hollowed out roots of the tree where Mo'at's body now rested. Leaves and pedals were scattered over her as you all stood with a single woodsprite in hand. It was tradition that the closest relatives of the deceased lower their sprite first.
First, Neytiri stepped forward, her face contorted in grief as she fought back her tears and placed her woodsprite on her mother. After her, Jake placed his own sprite down into the grave, and when he stepped back, Neteyam let go of your hand to release his sprite as well. His face was poised and composed as he stepped back to take your hand again.
When the rest of his siblings had lowered their woodsprites, you were next. You gave Neteyam's hand a quick squeeze before stepping forward to lower the spirit in your hand to rest onto Mo'at's body. As you moved back to stand next to him, the rest of the clan came forward to follow suit.
The funeral rites moved quickly, and after the sun had receded behind the planet in the sky, you found yourself back in your private tent alone with Neteyam. There was a heavy silence that had settled over the two of you. Neteyam was sitting cross legged on the floor staring absently at nothing in particular. You had brought a small platter of food back to share in private rather than with the rest of the clan as you usually did.
"You should eat," you told him gently, placing the platter down in front of him. Neteyam didn't even look down at the food, he just shook his head and replied quietly, "I am not hungry." You watched him carefully for a moment, felling conflicted on whether or not you should push for him to eat.
You raised a hand to hold his cheek and carefully turned his face to look at you. His eyes met yours, and you could see the exhaustion that weighed on him. All day, he had been perfectly composed in front of the whole clan, but now, he had dropped the act and was finally displaying the grief he was feeling. It broke your heart.
"I know this is hard, Neteyam," you said softly, "but you need to eat, just a little bit." He seemed to study your face for a moment, and a tiny, sad smile pulled at his lips for just a second before he squeezed his eyes shut and took an unsteady breath. When he opened them again, his eyes were shining with tears, and he brought a hand up to wrap around your wrist. "I don't know what I would do without you," he whispered finally.
His words made your chest ache, and your eyes were immediately filled with tears. "Don't think about that," you told him as you pulled him into a hug. "I am here now." He buried his head in your neck as he wrapped his arms tightly around your waist. It wasn't long before his breathing became unsteady and his shoulders began to shake.
You wished with your whole heart that you could save him from this pain. You felt completely powerless to help him. Mo'at had been old, yes, and it came as no surprise to anyone that she had passed, but no amount of time or preparation could save one from the suffocating effects of grief. Of course, you also mourned for Mo'at as well, but for you, she was the tsahik, a leader. For Neteyam, she was a grandmother, his family. Your own grief was nothing compared to his.
You continued holding Neteyam as he wept quietly into your collarbone, and you cried with him. Neteyam so rarely displayed this level of vulnerability with anyone, but you were his safe space, the one who knew everything about him. There was no one in the world he trusted more, and he loved you with his entire being.
You weren't sure of how long you stayed there like that before your tears ran dry and Neteyam's breathing steadied. Your hand rubbed up and down his back slowly in an effort to soothe him. There was a delicate silence that had settled over you both, and neither one of you wanted to break it.
After a time, you asked softly, "Do you want to go to sleep?" Neteyam didn't respond for a moment, but then, he whispered, "Can we just stay like this for a few more minutes?" You nodded and placed a light kiss on his shoulder.
"We can stay like this forever."

ok but what would neteyam or loak do if u guys r at it really rough and you say your guys safeword? i’m a fluff girl at heart😭
neteyam's heart would cave in, shame and guilt consuming him to the point where he'd probably shed a few tears for making you say your safe word. his aim is to never ever hear the word fall from your lips - to never ever hurt you or make you feel unsafe in any way. he'd stop immediately, pulling out of you gently and back away to create a great deal of space between the two of you. he'd have his elbows propped up on his knees, hiding his face in his hands while he reflects on his actions with a heavy, broken heart. you'd have to be the one to reassure him, even though you just muttered the word. and once you've reminded him that he's not the monster he's making himself to be, he'll scoop you up in his arms and take care of your every need - cleaning you gently and making sure you're hydrated and fed, all while apologizing profusely. once he actually accepts the fact that you're okay and you're not upset with him, he'll allow himself to pepper your body with soft, gentle kisses, hoping it'll take the ache away. it'd probably take a long time for him to touch you in that way again, afraid to have such an event repeat itself.
"oh eywa. i'm sorry, my love. really. please, please forgive me. are you okay? where does it hurt? oh, i'm so, so sorry. tell me where it hurts... tell me what i need to do to make it better, i'll do anything. i'm so sorry."

Family album: Jake, Neytiri, Neteyam, Kiri, Lo’ak, Tuk, Spider
🌳🌳🌳🌳
🌿you’re a definite mamas girl
🌿when your sad, mad, feeling antisocial, bored, excited, or tired you’re glued to her side.
🌿your mama is your comfort and though you like being around lots of people at the end of the day and about 65% of the time you just want to be with Neytiri
🌿18 but you still call her “mama”
🌿Neytiri loves talking about her ancestors and being the one to teach you about Navi things.
🌿more when you were younger but Neytiri will get super protective of you . She didn’t like when anyone else held you as a baby which is the reason you now constantly want to be around her. Neytiri just wanted to hold you all the time.
🌿strict with her discipline with you especially. And especially if you’ve done something against your siblings (in a dangerous context) this is because she trusts you so much that it’s upsetting when you let them down. She sees herself in you and wants you to live up to your potential.
🌿Neytiri does your hair and is slightly offended when she sees you have done it yourself or someone else has done it (let’s it slide if Jake does it). She often sings to you when doing it. Doing your hair is her way of showing you, your still her little baby.
🌿your fierce nature is from your mother as well as your emotional and tender side
🌿you definitely find yourself trying to be like Neytiri as much as possible
🌿you can talk to her about most everything, probably more than your father but he’s trying. She’s great at breaking up squabbles with you and your siblings
🌿always wanted a little girl so when you were born she was so happy
🌿you love to help her cook and you guys will talk about the happenings of the village
🌿like Jake, she calls you yuey’ite or Ma’
🌿I see you Yuey’ite

Title: Reunion Part 1
Pairings: Lo’ak (21) x Navi Reader (21) x Neteyam (22)
Warnings: MDNI
Contains: fluff, sexual tension
Background: The Sullys have been away for years. They have just returned to the Forrest, not only bringing with them joy and hope but also uprooting masked feelings.
Word count: 1335
Tumblr media
It has been a month since the Sullies returned from the reef to the forest and weeks since you’ve seen the boys. They both have grown and evolved since the last time you saw them. You all have. You’ve grown up with the Sully family and the void they left since their departure forced you out of your shell to find more friends and become part of a new clique. News of their return had everyone excited and rushing to greet them. However, you kept your distance as you were fearful it would reignite old feelings for the younger Sully son.
You’re in your kelku getting dressed for the morning’s events when the door suddenly bursts open. You gasped as you shield yourself with your hands hovering over your dripping body.
“Who the fuck-“ you yell out fangs gnashing.
“Oh my god y/n!” you heard a familiar voice cry out “I’m sorry my intention wasn’t to- “
Shut the door before you expose me further skxawng” you hissed.
The door immediately shut, darkening the room once more and trapping the much needed heat to recover you from the ice cold morning air. The draft that was let in was so cold it made your blue skin prickled with goosebumps and nipples perk up. At the time you grabbed the closest thing to cover your naked wet body which was thin layer of cloth usually used to wipe your supple skin dry after taking a morning wash.
“Sorry y/n.”
There stood a tall, muscular built familiar figure with his face facing the wall of your hut, you admired his broad shoulders and strong back eyeing his braids that were still swaying from his sudden movement.
“Lo-ak what are you doing here?!” you shrieked as you hurriedly dry your skin and dress with your loincloth and braided top, your black hair sticking to your damp body as you hurry to dress and cover whatever you could unsure of what exactly Lo’ak was able to see.
“What do you mean what I am doing here?” he scoffed, face still turned to the wall. “I have been away from the forest for two years and back a month now and you haven’t even stopped by to see me, or my family.”
You remain silent. Trying to tie your beaded top to and pull it over your breasts to hide you hardened nipple. Deep in thought you didn’t realized Lo’ak had turned away from the wall in your silence. Your eyes raised and met with his and suddenly you felt a warmth radiating from your stomach.
“Shit.” you whispered.
You expected him to look away once your eyes met, but he didn’t. His eyes suddenly changed, the once soft and curious expression was replaced with narrowed eyes and a mouth left agape.
“You need help?” he asked, his voice low and suddenly husky.
“No, I got it” you say, quickly turning around in embarrassment as you fiddle to loosen the ties around your neck to lower the beaded top in efforts to get more coverage.
You suddenly feel his hands on yours pushing them away so he can untie the knot himself.
“I said I got it” you huffed out annoyed.
He swats your hand away as you reach back up to the back of your neck.
“You certainly have grown” he whispers as he unties the bundles of knots you created when hastily trying to get dressed.
Your arms fell to your sides as you nervously listen, his breath on your neck, his chest eerily close to your back.
“I’m sorry I didn’t get the chance to visit as yet, I got caught up with my duties,” you said in a hushed tone. An obvious lie.
“Ah, yes I’ve heard you’re one of the head flyers now, one of the patrol warriors.”
He’s been asking about me? Your thoughts began to swarm your mind when the beaded top’s position shifted. The knot was untied. You took a step forward and now correctly positioned the top over your semi exposed breast, still facing away from him. You took the pair of strings and tied them under your bust and then the neck strings and tied them around your neck in quick movements. All while you can feel Lo’ak’s stares on you.
You turn around quickly to still find him staring, but with more distance, braced on the nearest wall staring with a smirk plastered on his face. It’s like he can sense how uneasy being alone in the hut makes you. Two years ago you would not have imagined being able to be alone with him as the hut you currently live in belonged to you and your parents. But ever since their deaths, it’s just been you occupying the hut.
“My my, y/n, you look more beautiful than the last time I saw you” he said as his eyes scan your na’vi body, fixating on your breasts then moving down slowly to your hips and back up to your eyes.
You look away as you feel the warmth in your stomach grow, you clear your throat trying to regain the confidence you had.
“Shall we go and join everyone at the gathering for breakfast?” you asked quickly changing the topic and ignoring his flirtatious advancements.
He immediately huffs and springs himself off the walk to walk closer towards you, you backed away slowly. Your eyes never leave his. You are stopped abruptly as you hit the back of nearby furniture. Lo’ak continues in his advancements until he is inches away from you. The height difference has you staring at his chest as he towers at you. He reaches a finger under your chin to bring your eyes back to his and smirks. You can feel your face redden. His other hand reaches at your waist.
He’s always been aware of your feelings for him despite your failed attempts to hide it. He noticed how clumsy you’d get around him. How nervous his stares made you feel. How self-conscious you were every time he was around. Despite you never acting on them or outright confessing your feelings for him it was as if he read your mind and would constantly tease you. Now he’s back and these very same feelings came flooding back with just one touch.
“I’ve missed y/n, haven’t you missed me?” He whispered. His face now inches from yours and suddenly you can feel the heat travel from your stomach to between your legs. Your breathing is hitched.
“Lo’ak I-"
You are suddenly interrupted by the sudden pull of the door. You really need to get yourself one of those human locking mechanisms that Norm has, you thought to yourself. The movement breaks the tension between you, too, resulting in both of you jumping away from each other as if you were almost caught.
“Y/n!” a familiar males voiced boomed at you.
“Nete?” you cried out happily.
“Oh dam it’s so nice to see you y/n after all this time!” Neteyam cries out rushing towards you as you rush toward him to give him a hug. He picks you up and spins you around. You forgot how much you missed the Sullys. Neteyam always looked out. He was the one responsible for you being one of the best archers in your clan. Before he left he would always spend extra time teaching you his own techniques. You didn’t even realize how much you missed him. You can feel Lo'ak's glares on both of you.
Behind him came Kiri, who was a year younger than you but always kind. You greet her with another hug as suddenly tears swell in your eyes. You forgot what it was like to be embraced by persons who cared, it reminded you more of the absence of your own family.
“What are you doing here brother?” Neteyam asks as he glances to Lo’ak.
“The same reason you’re here bro.” Lo’ak says while he stares at you the hungry expression not leaving his eyes.

Skinny dipping with neteyam? 🫠
(Neteyam x Reader)
Tumblr media
warnings: nudity, major fluff, kinda roasted Jake a bit
ngl I kinda ate with this one, I'm sorry if you were expecting a smuttier imagine, I don't really do those cause I feel like I don't write them well, but overall I hope you all enjoy :)
"Hey, pretty girl..... Baby? Are you still up?"
You heard boyfriends voice through the transmitter he gave you.
(Flashback)
'Teyam baby, I don't need this sky people tech' you said to Neteyam who was holding the foreign object in his hand.
'Princess they're for emergencies, I just want to know when my girl is in danger, or if you need help' Neteyam gave you a small pout.
'Emergencies? Teyam, you barely let me out of your sight, I'm with you almost every minute of the day, not that I'm complaining' you joked with your boyfriend, but by the look in his eyes you could tell he was serious.
'I know, but this will just give me more relief knowing I'm just one push of a button away, just please Princess, I wanna know your safe all the time.' he begged while holding yours hands and giving you the biggest puppy eyes.
'This better not look ugly on me' you said while rolling your eyes.
Neteyam gave you the biggest smile, he grabbed your face to give you a kiss on the forehead 'Nothing could ever look ugly on you my love, your the most beautiful creature Ewya has ever put on this planet' he said before settling behind you to set up the transmitter, and when he was finished putting it on you, he littered your neck and shoulders with kisses.
(end of flashback)
"Teyam?" you said while rubbing the drowsiness from your eyes.
"Teyam, what's wrong are you injured?"
His chuckle reached your ear "Precious, I'm fine, just wanted to talk to my girl."
You shook your head at his actions "Thought this was used for emergencies?"
"Oh this is an emergency."
"Oh? What does the mighty warrior need?" you joked with him.
"You. I miss you." his voice filled with need.
"Oh really." you question him.
"Yes" he replied.
"That would be impossible Teyam." you said with a smile.
"How come, baby?" he sarcastically asked.
"Because I just saw you an hour ago." you explained with a little giggle.
"Well how can you blame me when I have a heaven sent girlfriend." you could tell he was smiling by the way he spoke.
Oh Ewya how much you loved your Neteyam.
"Meet me at our spot my love" he wasn't really asking.
"Teyam, its so late, and don't you have to train with your father in the morning?" you tried to reason with him.
'Princess, I can't sleep without you, and I would much rather spend my morning with you than my father and his stinky dreadlocks' he finished with a chuckle.
It didn't stink it was just a stupid joke you and him kept to yourselves.
You had to hold back your giggles "Okay, okay you win. See you in 5." you told him while getting up from your mat.
"See you Princess, love you." he finished
When you got to yours and Neteyam's spot he was already there, he was sat infront of the pond gazing at the water fall that was up a few feet ahead. He looked beautiful in the moonlight, little white freckles littered his back, and his unique dark blue lines ran down his back.
You snuck up behind him and threw your arms around his shoulders while burying your face in his neck, mimicking a predator
"Gotcha" you whispered into his ears
"There she is" he said while moving you onto his lap
He connected your lips together, the was filled with passion and love "I missed you" he said into he kiss making you smile, you pulled back after placing one more kiss to his lips "Yeah, I missed you too." you confessed while pressing your foreheads together.
"It's kind of warm tonight." he said. You chuckled "You brought me out here late at night, to our secret spot just to talk about the weather." you joked with him.
He chuckled while moving some hair out of your face "Well if my beautiful girlfriend would have let me finished she would have known that I think we could use a late night swim." he suggested with a smirk.
You raised a finger to your mouth acted as if you were thinking about it "Hmmmm, I think that's a great idea." both of you got up heading to the pond.
But you just remembered you were wearing your new clothes your mother gave them to you, you didn't want to get them wet or ruined.
You came to a stop. Neteyam looked behind him to see you not making anymore advances, he frowned at this "Yawne, what's wrong baby?" he asked while coming up to you. "Ah Tey', my mother just made me these today" you said while referring to your clothes "I can't get them ruined, she worked so hard on them" you said with a frown.
He nodded understandingly, he thought about it for a moment, he was kind of hesitant to say it at first not wanting to pressure you.
"Okay, Princess this is just a suggestion but maybe you could go nude?" he tried to say it as lightly as possible, sounding a bit nervous.
"Oh my Ewya Neteyam you are such a perv." you said as a joke but was trying to sound as serious as possible to make him fall for it.
"Princess no no no no no. I didn't mean it like that I just don't want you to get your beautiful clothes wet and ruined baby, im sorry we don't even need to swim anymore, I'm sorry bab-" you cut off his nervous rant with a kiss.
You smiled before saying "You're so cute when your nervous, Tey'. " and giggled very loudly.
He rolled his eyes before resting his forehead on yours "Oh Ewya, what am I gonna do with you." he sighed while bringing up one of his hands to hold your face.
"We can swim" you said with a smile
"Yeah, yeah we can, are you sure you want to go nude baby? I totally understand if you don't." he said in the softest tone.
"I'm sure, just uhh.. don't judge me, okay?" you asked in a slightly nervous tone.
"Precious, I'd never judge you. You are the most beautiful creature I've ever laid my eyes on, but your beauty isn't even the best part of you" he pointed to your heart "this, this right here is the reason I love you, nothing and no one could ever change that. not even Ewya herself." he spoke with the love and care in his eyes.
"I love you so much Tey'." you said while leaning into his embrace
"I love you so much more my sweet girl."
When you pulled away you started to get nervous again, and he could sense it. And another idea popped up in his head.
"Hey, how about I go nude with you?" he asked
You looked at him with wide eyes
"A-are you sure Tey'? You don't have to." you told him.
He smiled at you "I'd do anything to make you feel better, we can do this together. I'll go first, and if you want me to stop you just say so, okay?" he told you, and you nodded in response.
He moved away from you a bit
You could sense he was nervous to so you turned your back to him.
In Na'vi culture they use rarely anything to cover up, leaving a lot to the imagination, but private parts were still private and you both respected that privacy.
He smiled at your actions and was reminded why he was in love with you. You heard his loincloth fall to the ground with a thud.
"Could you do it for me?" you asked him still facing away
He came up behind you placing his hands on your hips "I'd do anything for you" he answered.
He slowly untied your loincloth and neck piece wanting to give you as much time possible to say stop if you wanted.
Both clothing were off and he discarded them onto a safe place where they wouldn't get dirty.
He came up behind you again rubbing both of his hands up and down your waist "Okay pretty girl, I'm ready whenever you are." he said while kissing your shoulder.
Suddenly you felt bold, this was Neteyam you reminded yourself, your Neteyam, your boyfriend, and future mate. There was nothing to hide from him, he was your forever and you were his.
Your turned around, displaying your bare body to him, both of you were admiring each other until you finally found your words.
"I'm ready Tey'." you spoke with confidence. Neteyam smiled down at you, he brought up one of his hands to hold your face and connected your lips.
"You are. *kiss* the most *kiss* beautiful creature *kiss* Ewya has ever *kiss* created" he finished by kissing your shoulders.
"You remind me everyday, but I beg to differ there's something more beautiful and he's standing right in front of me." you placed a kiss on his jaw.
"Now lets go swim it's starting to get cold out here" you said while tugging on his hands.
Its safe to say that the rest of the night was filled with laughter, playfulness, and romantic gestures. You both fell asleep together on the mossy ground cuddled up in each other embrace.
And yes Neteyam did get in trouble for not showing up for his training in the morning, and you felt horrible, but Neteyam was there to remind you that you were worth more than any scolding he got from his stinky father.

The sun's already set, now Won't you go to sleep, now? I'll see you in your dreams...
★⌒ヽ
You flinch at the sound of rhythmic beeping and groan in pain rubbing your temples. A cool draft forces your eyes open and you glance down, gasping. A mint green hospital gown is all that covers your new body, blue stripes and white freckles covering your arms and legs.
"Can you flex your fingers for me?" a doctor in a hazmat suit asks. You stretch your fingers, and then your arms a yawn forcing its way out of your throat.
A smile twists at your lips when you hear a loud metallic clang. Your head whips to the left to see Jake standing and pulling the wires attached to the heart monitor off of his arms and temples. His tail flits about, knocking another doctor into a wall as he opens the door.
"Sedate him!" the other doctor orders, but is swiftly ignored at the fresh air permeating the room from the now wide open door. Your ears twitch as you watch Norm follow Jake outside, and you quickly follow after.
The sun warms your skin as you walk past the basketball court, your hair swishing behind your back as you reach the two, who are now joined by Grace.
Although your attention is taken away by a familiar sight, a wooden cabin, you quickly trace up the steps and sit down on your cot, pushing your braid away as you lay back eyes fluttering closed.
★⌒ヽ
You glance nervously at the helicopter as you grab your bag, carefully stepping up and into it. You decide to sit as far away from the doors as possible, fear creeping into your mind as you remember the last time you were on a chopper.
You choked back a gasp as the helicopter shook, a loud beeping overtaking the noise of the blades as the smell of smoke filled your nose. You quickly covered your mouth, feeling your Mother's hand on your shoulder, "Mom!" You cried out as the chopper shuddered once more.
She rubbed your shoulder, glanced out the window, and frowned. You could feel her hand shaking as you started to free fall, her arms wrapped around you as you fell, the defeating sound of an explosion ringing in your ears as the world went black, your head slamming forward.
Your grip on your bag tightens as you shake your head, your hair, or Tsaheylu accidentally smacks Grace in the face, making her groan in frustration. You raise your hands in apology as the chopper lifts off the ground.
You grip your bag tighter as you land, the blades of the helicopter going silent. You unclip your seatbelt and step down onto the forest floor slinging your bag onto your back as Grace and Norm walk off to take samples. You close your eyes and let the warm humid air surround you, sweat trickling down your brow. A snap forces your eyes open and you see Jake wandering off and tapping some Loreyu, or helicordian, tapping them and watching as they shrink down into the soil.
You quietly walk over and laugh as three Loreyu shrink, but that laughter is cut short when the last one flies away to reveal an angtsìk, hammerhead titanothere, which promptly charges. You gasp as it moves closer and Grace calls out, "Don't shoot. Don't shoot, you'll piss him off," through her comm.
You step back as it crashes its head into nearby trees. Watching as Jake runs forward and yells at it. You almost sigh in relief but scream when you see the creature standing behind him, "Jake, watch out!"
You grip your knife, the only weapon you have on you and hold it out in front of your chest waiting for the creature to strike.
It roars as it leaps over his head and lands in front of you, growling its paws scratching at the ground, its nostrils flaring. You grip your blade tighter when the hammerhead charges forcing you to duck out of the way your bag long forgotten as you rush to Grace.
"So what about this one? Run, don't run?" Jake asks panic taking over his voice as he aims his gun at the Palulukan.
"Run! Definitely run!" she shouts back as it begins chasing after him.
You watch helplessly as it runs after him, your knife falling to the forest floor.
★⌒ヽ
Your eyes scan your surroundings as you head back to the chopper the blades making it easy for you to sneak behind a tree and watch as Grace and Norm pack their bags. You take a deep breath before walking off into the forest, hands clenched at your sides.
Night falls quickly as you walk through the forest, and you can already feel a blister forming on your heel when you decide to take a break and sit down on a branch to remove your shoes and socks.
You carefully walk along the forest eyes glancing at every nook and cranny of the bioluminescent trees and plants around you searching for Jake. Your ears prick up when you hear a clicking noise nearby, and you grip your knife tightly, holding it out in front of you, your head snapping back and forth trying to find the noise before you feel something poking the back of your neck. You drop your knife and put your hands up, sweat blinding you as it drips down your brow, and you really wish you had something to smoke on you as your hands shake.
You hear the thudding of hooves on the forest floor and a group of Na'vi hunters stops in front of you.
One of them dismounts and walks towards you, his face twisted in disgust as he grabs your braid and tosses it to the side, only to examine your hands next, "A demon! A dreamwalker!" he announces as he holds your hand up to show the group, his eyes glaring at you as he turns back around.
You flinch as he yanks you forward, and you fall to your knees, "Wait! Wait! I can- I can explain," you shout as the arrow tip buries itself deeper into the back of your neck. You repeat the phrase in Na'vi and add on, "My Mother was Dr. Evie Quaritch! And I work with Grace-" you're cut off when an Atokirina' lands on your hand. You watch mesmerized as more float around and land all over your body.
The man hisses as he grabs your arm and mutters something to the others gesturing to the Atokirina' surrounding you before they slowly float away.
They quickly bound your hands and he almost gently tosses you over his shoulder and hops onto his direhorse, the sound of hooves against the ground reverberating through you.
As the group continues on, the man, who you now recognize as Tsu'tey, motions for the others to stop. His eyes narrow as he looks into the brush before him. A look of anger flickers on his face as he motions for them to move again.
You brace yourself as tree branches scrape against your face, only opening your eyes when you hear a familiar voice.
"Jake?" you call out trying to turn to see him, but Tsu'tey's grip on you only tightens.
"Doctor?" he calls back as you hear a familiar woman's voice shouting to be calm.
You can feel the blood rushing to your head when you begin to move again. The ride feels like an eternity when Tsu'tey tosses you to the ground unbinding the ropes on your arms and legs. You stand and look at Jake, his eyes full of worry as his eyes meet yours.
"Hey, are you alright-" he attempts to ask but is cut off as you're both dragged off.
"Father. I see you," Neytiri says as you glance around.
You could feel the heat rushing to your face, so many people, and they were all staring at you. You shook your head as her Father began to speak, "This creature. Why did you bring him here?" he asks looking at her.
"I was going to kill him, but there was a sign from Eywa."
"I have said, no dreamwalker will come here," you tune him out and look over to Jake.
"What's he saying?" he interjects as her Father continues speaking.
"Hey, what's he saying?" his tone impatient.
"My Father is deciding whether to kill you," Neytiri responds.
"Your Father. It's nice to meet you sir," Jake says holding out his hand.
You glance at him in shock as the Na'vi surrounding the both of you hiss and pull him back.
"Step back!" calls out a familiar female voice.
You glance up to see Mo'at walking towards you, her eyes on Jake.
"I will look at this alien," she says as Neytiri lowers her head.
"That is mother. She is Tsahìk, the one who interprets the will of Eywa."
"Who's Eywa?" Jake asks as Mo'at grabs his Tsaheylu and then his tail, examining them.
You watch on as she asks, "What are you called?"
"Jake Sully," he responds.
She then unsheaths a sharp piece of bone and stabs his collarbone with it, bringing it to her lips, "Why did you come to us?"
"I came to learn," he responds as your hands clench at your sides.
"We have tried to teach other Sky People, it is hard to fill a cup which is already full," she says glancing toward you her eyes narrowing.
Jake looks to you, " Well, my cup is already empty, trust me."
He laughs, "Just ask Dr. Augustine. I'm no scientist."
"What are you?" she asks, looking over at you again her eyes still narrowed.
You felt more sweat dripping down your face as you waited to be interrogated.
"I was a marine," he pauses to clear his throat, "A warrior, of the Jarhead clan."
"A warrior? I could easily kill him," Tsu'tey interrupts.
"No," Neytiri's Father interrupts, "This is the first warrior dreamwalker we have seen. We need to learn more about him."
Mo'at then turns to you, "And you, I know you," she says her hand gently grabbing your Tsaheylu and then your tail.
She then repeats the process of cutting your collarbone and bringing it to her lips, " Daughter of Ney`ite," she looks you over, sending a chill down your spine.
"Yes, my Mother is- was a part of the English program," you reply tears brimming in your eyes.
Jake gives you a look of confusion, "I thought your Mother's name was-" Mo'at cuts him off, "My daughter, you will teach him our way, to speak and walk as we do," she pauses and glances at you, "and she will come with me."
"Why me? That's not fair," Neytiri complains as Mo'at approaches Jake.
"It is decided. My daughter will teach you our ways. Learn well, Jake Sully," she says as she beckons you to follow, "then we will see if your insanity can be cured."
Jake gives you a look of helplessness as you turn to follow, mouthing an apology to him.
Mo'at leads you away and hands you a change of clothes. You change quickly as she looks over at you, "Why are you here?" she asks as you adjust your top and push your Tsaheylu to the side.
You frown, and glance up at her, "To learn the way of the people, like my Mother once did," you respond as Mo'at hands you a feathered hair clip.
You attempt to clip it into your hair, but groan in frustration when it gets tangled, Mo'at slaps your hands away and carefully arranges it in your hair, "She would have wanted you to have it," she brushes away a stray strand of hair, her hand gently caressing the side of your face before she turns to leave.
You murmur a thanks and follow her to dinner. You sit next to her and look over to see Jake's eyes follow you. His face is contorted in confusion as you eat, mouthing a "What's going on?" but you shake your head and continue to eat.
Jake approaches you after dinner and grabs your arm, "Hey, care to explain what the hell's going on?"
You sigh and he releases your arm, you lean up against the tree and try to explain, "My mother, Dr. Evie Quaritch, was a part of the English program with Dr. Augustine," you pause your voice shakey as you feel tears pooling behind your eyes threatening to spill as you continue, "So, of course, I know most of the people here, although I don't remember a lot. I was only a kid then when she-" you choke on a sob as Jake puts his hand on your shoulder reassuringly.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring up bad memories," he pauses his eyes narrowing, "but Mo'at called your mom Ney`ite? What did she mean by that?"
You wipe away your tears, "My Mother, became upset with my Father and the work the RDA was doing. How they only ever hurt the Na'vi. And so she decided she wanted to become one of the people. But, my Father found out and he-" you choke back another sob, "he grew angry. He was so upset that, he told her she had one last mission before he was sending her back home," Jake reached out and brushed away a stray tear from your cheek.
You flinched before you continued, "And so her last mission was supposed to be recon, they sent her in a helicopter to help with some, 'resistance' efforts," putting resistance in air quotes you continued, "she brought me with her. It was supposed to be simple, and after that, we would be sent back to Earth. But the second we reached the location, we were shot down."
Your body trembles and flashes of fire and smoke bring back the memory of that day. Jake's face is conflicted as he wraps his arms around you, pulling you into a warm hug.
"So they, the Na'vi-"
"No," you interrupt him anger flashing in your eyes, "It was my Father. He-"
Neytiri interrupts wishing you a good night as she climbs down to sleep, "Goodnight, Jake Sully, and tsumke," she says closing her eyes.
You wish her goodnight and climb down to sleep as well and whisper, "Goodnight, Jake," and close your eyes, then open them, the inside of the link pod greeting you.
★⌒ヽ
Your skin feels cool compared to the warm rushing tears spilling down your cheeks as you climb out of the link pod. Grace is berating Jake but stops when she sees you, handing a cigarette to you, "Here, looks like you could use one," you take it grateful for a distraction, and light up, inhaling deeply.
"By the way," Grace interrupts, "Did you recognize anyone?" she says turning to you cigarette dangling from her lips.
You freeze, eyes falling to the floor, not really wanting to answer the question and dredge up more bad memories when Jake speaks up, "It looked like the whole tribe knew her," he gave you a small smile as you snuffed out your cigarette.
You returned it gratefully and sat down to record your newest video log, voice monotone as you think of the coming days, and wonder what it's like back home. Although you could never really call it that.

TOUCHY ★
🖇️ char. Neteyam x Omaticayan! fem! reader
🖇️ warn. Spicy, jealousy, fluff
🎥 In which Neteyam is an extremely affectionate boyfriend whose love language is physical intimacy, and when some Metkayinan boys start getting a bit too flirty with you, be gets jealous and sulks
A/N Just a short drabble
Tumblr media
Neteyam was your mate, and you were his. Ever since he first hooked his eyes on you a year ago, he had been obsessed with you in every way. The way you looked at him with loving eyes, or the way you never complained whenever he held your hand while you did whatever you needed to do. You understood Neteyam loved being physically intact with you.
When he was sitting next to you, even that wouldn’t be enough. He would lay his head on your shoulder, or hold your hand, or wrap his arm around you. Around his family, he would play with your hair—the tiny unbraided strands of your goddess braids, or he would just hook a finger around yours.
He had separation anxiety, though you would never comment on it. You didn’t mind, one bit. You thought that part of him was adorable, like a little puppy.
Because you were his mate, it was decided that you would move to Awa’atlu with Jake and his family, leaving your family behind. You were heartbroken, having to leave your siblings and parents behind, but you said your goodbyes and left anyways.
When you arrived at the Pandora Reefs, Neteyam never let go of your hand, not once. But this time, it was to reassure you. When Au’nong and Rotxo stepped forward, he pulled you behind him, while they smirked.
At your new home, he huffed in displeasure. “They were looking at you.” He sulked, sitting next to you with his head on your collarbone, your body leaning against the wooden pillar, his pointer finger hooked to your pinkie.
You smiled reassuringly, shaking your head. “And I was looking at you, Neteyam.” You told him softly, playing with the bead on his braid. Your heart was full, your throat tightening at how adorable he was.
Another instance was when you were at the beach with Tuktirey, accompanying her and looking for seashells on the shallow waters. The two of you knelt on the sand, her laughing in joy. “Look, there’s one!” You laughed, pointing at a pink shell when you heard the water behind you splashing as if somebody was walking near you.
You turned around, seeing a stranger your age walking up to you with two of his friends. You furrowed your eyes. “Tuk, come here.” You whispered, ushering her.
She whimpered in fear as you grabbed her arm and pulled her behind you. You then stood up. “What’re you doing?” The boy asked, tilting his head. You gave him a dirty look. “Can I help you?” You asked, ignoring his question. His friend laughed. “We just want to get to know you, chill out.” He shrugged his shoulders, and you tried your hardest not to roll your eyes.
“I like your hair.” The third guy commented, running his fingers through some braids on your hair. “We should hangout sometime, I can show you some islands around here.” The first guy said, smiling. You huffed, frowning.
“Excuse me.” You mumbled, making sure to keep Tuk away from the guys as you walked past them, and away. “O-Okay! See you around!” The guy yelled after, and you shook your head in disbelief and sighed. Pathetic.
Unknown to you, Neteyam had seen it all. He had the urge to go in and just punch those guys square in the jaw, but after fighting the Au’nong and his friends yesterday, he was sure his father would skin him alive if he were to cause more trouble.
So instead, he stayed out of sight, and watched quietly as his nails dug into his palms. He was glad you quickly had left and even barely spoke to them, displaying your clear unliking to them, but still, he couldn’t help but feel jealous.
Later that day, when the sky was dark, you stood in your home, your back turned to the entrance as you were busy taking the leaves off of berries Kiri had picked. You heard Neteyam enter, turning your shoulder and glancing at him. “How was your day, Neteyam?” You asked, not having seen him all day. He stayed silent, which you ignored. If he didn’t want to talk, he didn’t have to talk. You respected that of him, because you had your moments too.
You heard him dropping his things on the floor, then walk up to you. Without saying a word, his hands slid around your waist, pressing himself against your back as he kissed your shoulder. You smiled, leaning your hair into him as you continued to pick at the berries. His butterfly kisses trailed up your shoulder, to your neck, and his kisses became longer. Your breath hitched as he started sucking softly on the skin on your neck, his thumb rubbing your stomach.
“Neteyam.” You whispered, turning your head slightly towards him, but he ignored you again. You were confused on why he was acting this way. His tongue pressed against the bruises on your neck, before he turned you around and kissed your lips. You immediately responded. “Netey- mm- What’s- Mmph!” You tried talking, but he kept cutting you off by kissing you, each kiss more aggressive than the last. “Shh.” He hushed quickly, before kissing you again.
You did as told, letting him pour his feelings out on you. Your fingers brushed his back, tracing his spine upwards, before lightly tugging on his hair. He pushed his lips against yours, trying to get as close as he could to you, his eyebrows furrowed. He felt goosebumps on his skin as your tail brushed up the inside of his leg. After leaving his final kiss on you, he hugged your waist, burying his face into the crook of your neck.
Surprised, you looked at him, before smiling softly and rubbing his back. “What happened, Neteyam?” You asked quietly, closing your eyes as you leaned your head against his. He was silent for a couple heartbeats, but then finally spoke. “I saw those guys trying to hit on you today.” He whispered, and it almost broke your heart—how cute he was. You laughed at his sulking sight, hugging him tighter. “Neteyam, you are too perfect for this world.” You told him, kissing his head.

neteyam sully going all gentle and sweet when he fucks you until you try to run away from the pleasure he is giving you and he snaps? omg please — no but like i want this blue man so bad and i know you do too. 🧎🏽‍♀️
warnings – agedup!neteyam, p in v, inexperienced reader, brief clit stimulation, p penetration, soft sex but turns to slightly rough, edging-ish? idk, size kink, multiple orgasms, pussy tapping, neteyam is the man we all want, overstimulation, light grinding… that’s it i hope i didn’t miss non ; wc 2.2k!
Tumblr media
neteyam would look at you with pure love and care only, wanting to pleasure you and make you see stars. he does not miss how your chest heave up when he lightly touches your soaked slit, eyes glancing down to your folds then up to your barely open eyes.
“feels good, princess?” you only mewl, he hasn't started yet but you’re falling apart. neteyam lets a soft groan out when you whimper, his middle finger applying pressure on your throbbing nub, flicking it side to side
such a pleasing sight.
the man on top of you was quick to hold on your thigh, pushing it wider and glaring at you when you try to buck your hips away from him. “sweet girl.” he warns, now two fingers stroking your slit, you arch your back, your clit rolling between the gap his finger had.
“‘teyam.” you whisper, hands sought between your legs and wrapping against his wrist. you just shake your head when you feel something coming back and forth. your legs shaking cause your mate to chuckle.
“i haven’t touched you yet, you're quivering, princess.”
his tone makes it harder, latching to his wrist and closing your thighs against his arm. “it hurts, i feel like pe–”. “you are about to cum.” he cuts you off.
your eyes shut tightly, legs shaking uncontrollably and chest heaving up and down crazily. “neteyam!” you whine when he suddenly stops. pulling back his fingers, he finds your silly face cute when it twists as he licks in his finger, taking all your wetness.
once done with his fingers, neteyam slowly brings his hand to your body, running them on your curves, squeezing on every part of your plushy meat. he hums when he touches your breast, so perfect and swelled that it fits so much in his hand.
“please?” your voice is soft when you speak, eyes watching how your mate raises a brow. “please what?” he says and you gulp, your throat starting to dry out. “more, nete’ i want more.”
neteyam leans to kiss the side of your mouth and removes his hand from you, you shriek when he holds you by the curve of your waist and raises you slightly up to the hammock.
your back settles on the cold mattress, whining as you miss his touch on your burning skin.
he starts from your breastbone, trailing wet kisses down to your stomach, his hands squeeze on yout breast causing you to watch your back and press to him more. he watches your reaction, fuck you’re so hot.
you really wanted to open your eyes and watch what he was doing to you but you can’t, but when his lips on your skin are foaming your brain. neteyam literally has your mind spinning.
you didn’t notice how he was facing your leaking pussy until he was throwing your thighs over your shoulder. neteyam grips on your flesh snd phlld you close to his face, his hot breath fanning over your clit.
shocked, you look down at him and watch how his amber eyes are telling you to trust him. of course you simply do trust him. your eyes slightly widen when he takes out his pink bold and gives your pussy a bold lick.
your head falls to the soft pillow, jaw dropping but no sound leaving you. your one hand fists on the sheets while the other finds its way to his hair.
“oh” you choke giving him a boost to confidently lap on your slick and fuck his tongue in you.
neteyam wraps his lips around your clit, eyes shut and starts to suck on the nub instantly making you lose it and moan loudly. neteyam doesn’t give a fuck, this was your honeymoon and he was going to make sure the whole town knew you are his and he was the reason to this sound.
or maybe the na’vi’s could rub or jerk off their frustration to your sound. who knows, right?
he doesn’t mind, literally letting you put all your pent up emotions and feelings on his hair, pulling on him when he eats you out. he feels so fucking lucky.
you kept getting wetter in his tongue, your orgasm just leaking out of you. neteyam keeps licking you clean like a thirsty man he was, taking all the sweetness from what you give him. “mh-mh.” his voice vibrates on your pussy and you cry out.
neteyam won’t lie when he says that was unexpected but the way you came undone was so attractive. your half body rising up from the bed and brows knit when your cum oozes out your cunt. fuck. fuck. fuck.
neteyam gives your clit kitten licks, stimulating your nub and grazing his teeth on it.
“‘teyam,” your voice is so desperate, you know what’s about to come. you and neteyam are gonna be one soul now, he was going to fuck you, mark you as his when he slides in you, and you invite him.
your chest rises and falls when he comes to your view. neteyam was soaked with your slick nectar from his nose down to his chin, and slightly few rolls on his neck. “see what you did, hm?” you look away, feeling like it’s forbidden to see.
“no,” he hovers over you, hand gripping on your jaw and making you face him. “look at the art you created, pretty girl.” you hesitate but give in, taking his appearance and the mess you caused.
“i’m gonna fuck you now yeah?” your ears fold against your hair, tail twitching with excitement. neteyam catches up with the move and grins. “gonna make you feel good.”
you bite on your lips, stopping the moan that begged to be freed.
neteyam presses a soft and gentle kiss on your lips, not sure what to expect. you decide to kiss him back and close your eyes to the feeling. his large hands were roaming on your body, memorizing your details.
what you don’t notice was how the other hand was stroking himself, getting himself ready to fill you up. neteyam pats on your thigh and pulls your left leg to his back, wrapping it against his waist while your other leg rests on the mattress.
your eyes shoot open when you feel him slide to your tight cunt, stretching you more than before when he did with his fingers. your eyes tear up and you whine to the kiss but neteyam only kisses you harder, as if it would distract you from the aching and hurting pain down there.
he was big, no, neteyam was huge. his tip was the only part that slid in yet you feel so full.
neteyam was large, full and firm in you when he enters you, his breath fanning over your lips. he tries to control his breathing, pupils blown wide. he loves how you cling to him, helping you with holding you close when he fucks you more and more deep.
“are you okay?” he asks looking down at you and breathless you give him a nod, placing your hand on the back of his neck. neteyam uses his hand and brings it to your chest, placing it between your breast and kissing your forehead.
“you’re doing good, try to breathe normally.” you didn’t notice that you’re heaving so up until he pointed it out.
neteyam takes your lips again and feels your muscle relax helping him sink into you until he bottoms out. the way your pelvis, the part below your navel pokes out with the shape of his dick and neteyam moans audibly.
you feel him place a soft kiss on your cheek, then your eyes, then your temple. neteyam was fighting and restraining himself from fucking you senseless and it was visible from the veins in his neck and arms.
you clench on him and his breathing ragged, shaking his head and whispering a silent, “don’t do that yet.” before opening his eyes and looking at you like you’re the only person he has.
“am i hurting you?” he asks and your breath hitches, tears in your eyes when you shake your head.
you just wrap your legs around his waist, pulling him to you. “please neteyam.” you beg, he knows what you want, neteyam was just trying not to hurt you because this must be a special moment, for both of you and not painful.
neteyam only nods, strong arms trapping your head between them before he snaps his hips to you. you can’t help but moan, stomach fluttering with no pain found anywhere and pleasure striking.
his tip kisses the opening of your cervix and your body jolts up with every hard thrust he delivers.
over and over and over again you say his name, him only kissing your sweat beading skin and smiling at your state. his amber eyes look down at you, fascinated by your expression and body languages.
he was definitely not hurting you.
neteyam groans, one hand sneaking behind your knee and holding onto it before pinning it to the mattress. the change of position helps him stroke deeply and he watches his slippery cock leave your cunt only to push back in.
neteyam keeps you close, watching your face attentively if any pain occurs but it doesn’t seem like that, not when your eyes are rolled to the back of your head.
“baby.” he chokes and your legs tremble. still pinning your leg on its place, neteyam leans back to sit on the bed while still plunged to you. his arm holding him up leaves the side of your head and his hands wander to your body.
as if he was trying to claim a territory that has been granted to him.
neteyam hums, watching how you squirm under him when he finds his way to your clit. “wait net—oh great mother!” you shriek when he lightly taps on your pussy. trying to jump away from him but it only pisses him off.
“fucking running away?” his voice erupts goosebumps on your skin. “don’t. even. think. about. it.” with every word, the way he taps on your pussy gets violent and hard.
you don’t say anything, trying to turn side ways so you will escape his torture. “fuck no you don’t, princess.” the arm that was holding on your leg grips your hips and pins you flush against the sheets.
he whimpers when your kissy tightens on his dick, going flush on you and thrusting all the way to your gut. “take it, take me baby.” you cry, teeth trapped between your teeth. “there we go baby, squeeze me like that, such a good girl.” he lowly barks at you.
neteyam was stil holding your hips, accelerating his thrusts and pushing into you so deep.
“nete, i want to cum.” you spit, taking the man on top of you by surprise for your bold words. “yeah, you want it?” you were quick to nod. your body tingles from the orgasm you just had when he fucked you with his tongue yet you need more.
“then do it, do it now baby.” the hammock that’s to move, his rough thrust knocking it. “for me?” you nod, licking your dry lips. “for you!” you mewl, your voice going high at the last part.
you gush at him, leaking on his cock and milking him so good. “oh fuuuuck, oh fuck.” neteyam hisses, not too far from his own finishing line. it felt so good he wanted to be with you forever.
your legs are uncontrollably shaking, pain starting to hint on your body. the stimulation is being too much and neteyam isn’t cumming. “too much?” he says, thumb meeting your clit snd loving how you shake your head at the pleasure.
he likes to torture you. “i’m alm…” he stops, gritting his teeth when his balls tighten. “i’m gonna cum, i’m gonna— princess.” neteyam leans to you quick, wanting to be in your arms, to be held by you.
you wrap your arms on your head, much bigger than yours. you hold him tight just like he did minutes before, whispering to him to let go and give you every drop of him.
he whines to your chest when he cums, ropes of white strings webbing your cunt. you moan at the warm and heavy feeling inside you. you wait from him, neteyam only stays laying on your breast when he takes breath and calms himself.
you feel him kiss your breast valley before holding himself up. “i love you, i love you so much.” you smile, not caring that your cheeks are heating up when you suddenly feel shy and bare in front of him. “i love you too. this was amazing.”
you both giggle, neteyam pressing his forehead against you and silently thanking eywa for giving him you

Girlfriend!kiri sully hcs
Rated E
Love language is giftbgiving and we find that out very early on when she starts giving you random things before she has the nerve to ask you out
Little flowers she’s collected, brackets she’s made, hand woven pieces of clothing
Very quiet in front of others but when it’s just you she opens up so much it’s crazy
Yap city Fr
Only ends up actually asking you out after one of her brothers had goaded her into believing they were gonna as you put if she didn’t (it was lo’ak let’s be fr)
Asks you by bring you foraging with her but really it was just an excuse to get you alone
Gathers flowers and gives them to you while pulling a whole nervous ramble confession
“Okay so ik we’ve been friends for a while but I don’t want that anymore. Wait not that I don’t wanna be your friend I love being your friend you’re a great friend it’s just. Like I like you and I mean well obviously I like you we wouldn’t be friends if I didn’t but I-“
Takes her a minute but she gets there
Despite her giving love language being gifts she loves to receive words of affirmation
Practically purrs when you tell her how good she’s doing, how strong she is, what a good healer she’s gonna be
Isn’t huge on pda at all and I feel like she tries to hide it from her family for a little bit but like once she tells them they’re like “we know?”
“Guys me and —— are dating” “Baby girl you come home giggling everytime you two hang out. Why do you think we stopped letting her sleep over? ”- Jake
After that does get better ABOIT being affectionate in public but not by much
In private tho, like honey on fingers she’s stuck to you
Plays with your hair, hoping your hand, leaning on you, laying in you
“Kir can you move just a bit” “No” “I can’t feel my arm.” “Then it can’t bother you that much”
On that note so sassy once she’s comfortable like she cannot hide how she’s feeling with her face and she doesn’t even try with her mouth
Which makes for one of two out comes when shes jealous
Despite her willingness to give a dirty look and speak up she’s definitely gonna need reassurance once your outta the situation
One- “she’s taken” deadpan voice, arm around you waist staring down who ever decided to get a little to cozy near you.
Or
Two- just silent seething watching you interact with someone who clearly isn’t her. So much so that eventually the person excuses themselves just to escape her glare
“They’d probably be better for you than me anyway.” “Kiri no body wants them, your perfect for me and I don’t want anyone else”
Don’t take much you could tell her”that man isn’t shit” and she’s be like okay :)
Slow soft kisser
Refuses to initiate in the beginning but once she’s comfortable she’ll make any excuse to get you alone and kiss up on you
Cradles your jaw and places a hand on your hip, let’s her fingers trace lazy shapes on them
Lives for a peck, she might have healer duties but all them bitches can stay sick if you haven’t given her a kiss goodbye yet
“Babe your gonna be late” “then come here faster??”
Can’t cook sorry
Tried her hardest learn but it won’t be edible so don’t even try
The pandora equivalent to pigs wouldn’t be at what she makes
But she can hand make things, will weave you baskets or sow you blankets what
Light sleeper like super light sleeper. Surprisingly the only thing that won’t wake her up but instead puts her too sleep is the sound of her father and brother’s snoring
Sometimes Jake gets home early and takes naps, snores could shake down fruit from a tree but the sound of them will make her sleepy
Comfort thing tbh
Not a morning person because of this, she wakes up too many times at night for anyone to try and wake her up early
Only person who can do it without receiving death threats is you, neytiri, and tuk
And tuk is only cause she’s little and she’s feel bad threatening a child
“Kiri you have to get up” “fine :(” - you and her
“Kiri you have to get up” “I will skin you alive if you do not leave this cot in 5 seconds” - her and lo’ak
So grumpy but once she eats she’s fine

A week had passed since Neteyam had dropped you off at the laboratories on the outskirts of his village, and a lot had happened since then.
After Neteyam left, you were escorted into the premises by Max, who turned you over to Norm for fixing.
Norm had patched your arm up with gauze paired with a paste made from the wilds of Pandora, and he was delighted to finally put a face to the voice he had been hearing through the comlink for over a year.
The consensus from everyone was that you had been lucky Neteyam had found you. The bullet hadn't passed through your lower arm, and with a quick extraction, you were on the road to healing, surrounded by the reasonably happy group of rebel scientists you had been feeding information to from the compounds of the RDA these past months.
As your arm healed, you grew closer to Max and helped him run the station as much as he would let you when you weren't meant to be resting. This still left a lot of time in the day, so you started to shadow either Max or Norm and tried asking as much as possible about the Na'vi people as you learned the trades needed to keep the station afloat.
You had built up a routine for day-to-day life, and while it was boring, helping the native people and their planet is what you had risked your life for. It's why you wouldn't see Earth again, and it's why you were here.
The mundane work was mostly upkeeping the lab from weather and fixing any technical issues you were qualified for. Still, occasionally, Norm would let you discern things he had brought back from outside while he had been in his avatar. It made your heart sink as you knew that no matter what, you couldn't go back out there with the threat of everything being nearly twice as significant as you and twice as deadly.
Norm was actively showing off his hobby of teaching now, and it felt awkward to have this heavy feeling in your chest while Norm looked like a kid in a candy store as he held up the flower to you and pointed out the different attributes and what they were used for with a pair of tweezers.
You nodded and occasionally asked questions, but this quiet learning moment was interrupted when Max tore into the room with sweat running across his forehead. He must have sprinted across the entire compound.
"We have an issue", he finally managed to gasp out, and you immediately turned to Norm, who, as swiftly as he could, placed down the flower onto the sterilized tray behind him and set off after Max with you in tow.
"What's the matter?" Norm nervously asked as his eyes darted around, seeing the rest of the human residents were somewhat uneasily watching you three nearly sprint to the opening hatch that led to the vast plains of Pandora.
"Y/n, you've got a guest", Max coughed out with an awkward laugh as your eyes widened in curiosity.
Your trio rushed to reach the containment hallway, which was the only barrier between your oxygenated environment and the deadly poisonous gasses of the alien planet.
All of you were entirely out of breath once you approached the spot, and you could feel your arm cry out as you stepped inside the room just outside of the airlock.
Your eyes widened in happiness as you saw your savior awkwardly taking a device that was attached to his side and bringing it to his face. Neteyam took a deep breath with his eyes shut before his eyes fluttered open again and immediately found you a few feet in front of him.
A few scientists below him tried to advise him of a few safety briefings in Na'vi so he didn't go around smacking things over. Still, he completely turned a blind eye to them and he stepped over the woman who yelled out for him to come back. Neteyam happily ignored her as he shuffled towards your more petite figure with a grin. Norm and Max backed up immediately as the giant man came towards them.
Neteyam placed a hand on the roof to steady himself before he lowered himself to speak with you face to face. You smiled as his bright yellow eyes connected with yours, enjoying the familiar connection after so long apart.
"Neteyam!" You yelled out and leaped forward to give him a polite hug of endearment around his waist. Your touch immediately knocked the air out of him, forcing him to pick up the device again and lift the clear plastic mask to his mouth in order to get more of his indigenous air into his lungs.
After you pulled back, he responded by saying your name to you with a quirk in his ears as a sound in one of the distant labs caught his sense's attention.
You laughed merrily and then turned around to see that everyone was eyeing you both with astonishment. Perhaps being so friendly with the Na'vi had been a bit odd, but he had saved your life after all, and how were you supposed to know that this was the first time any of the scientists had seen Neteyam allow a sky person other than Spider to touch him? Even though on several occasions it was quite literally life or death.
"Uh, can you guys give us the room?" Max called to the other two foreign researchers in the room in hazmat suits.
They wasted no time in nodding and taking off, shutting the metal door behind them with the selected password to prevent any outbreaks. None of the regulars were used to seeing this son of Jake Sully's, and it was clear they were more than happy to steer clear from the hunter.
The silence that followed the departure was unnerving, and you felt the tension in the room spike as you spotted Neteyam's deadly longbow laid across the table behind him, probably at the demands of the other two who had greeted him at the door.
"So, uh, why are you here?" You asked, feeling the duo pair of eyeballs burning into the back of your head intensify as you continued speaking to Neteyam.
He understood your words and replied in Na'vi, which made you purse your lips as you nodded your head to show you had heard him before awkwardly turning to Norm, motioning for him to tell you what the boy had said.
Norm stuttered over his words for a minute before he replicated the sentence in English.
"He said he missed you and asked if that was a good enough reason", Norm's delivery lacked the mischievous twinkle in Neteyam's eye, but you paired the two together and grinned.
The warrior obviously had a sense of humor when lives weren't at stake, and it made you happy to learn more about the young man. He gazed around the room for a second before he seemed to register Max and Norm's presence, making himself nod at them respectfully before he returned to stare back at your body.
You were utterly at a loss for what to say. The angry man who had first seen you in the woods not long ago was banished from sight, and in his place was this smiley man that still had the means to kill you but had sought you out to simply say hello.
His eyes sparked, and he turned to his hip, digging his hand into a burlap sack he had attached there before he produced his closed fist and held it to you, watching your face peek in interest as his tail flickered madly behind him, hitting the metal walls.
You couldn't help the engrossment you felt, so just as Max was calling out for you to be careful, you pressed your significantly smaller hand into Neteyam's, and in response, he let his hand unfurl to present you with a gift.
It was a red stone that looked like a moving body of water had tumbled it for a long time. The rock shone under the heavy-duty lights above you, and with a timid move, you reached forward and picked it up from his hands, smiling as you thanked him for the gift.
He watched you admire it in your hands as you held it up to the light and stared at it in wonder. Neteyam could get used to amazing you like this.
He leaned one hand on his knee and the other on the floor to steady himself as he gazed at you with wide pupils that tried to take in all of your beauty.
You held the gift to your chest and bowed your head at him, delighting as he copied you without hesitation.
His smile faltered and transformed into an embarrassed throat clearing as his ears fluttered backward. He took his eyes off your figure and stared at the ceiling as his nose sniffed at the air as it had done upon his first meeting with you.
You thought back to the invasive manhandling he had done to you, and in response, you felt a heavy blush consume your face. You bashfully looked at the stone in your hand to avoid Neteyam seeing your face and reading your movements. You turned the beautiful blood-red stone over a few times before slipping it into your pocket and letting the weight drag the fabric of your pants.
Neteyam eyed the individuals behind you with a frown but chose to disregard them. He pressed himself closer to the ground to whisper something to you. He placed his head in front of your plunged face, which was determined not to look up to his eyes, and he softly mumbled something that made your blush deepen.
"Smell you?" His articulation was terrible, but the words still translated to you either way.
If he was being honest, the only reason he hadn't swept you up into his arms the second he saw you was because of the audience he was facing, but your fragrance was once again outpowering his freewill. He desperately needed to feel the fizz you activated in him before he went feral and ripped your clothes off to smell every inch of you.
You glanced behind yourself at Norm and Max, who were both still at a loss for words, but it seemed they were becoming more accepting of your friendship as you spent long minutes basking in one another's presence.
You swallowed nervously but nodded your consent to his touching.
His ears revived back up as he smiled smugly. He adjusted his body so he was sitting crossed-legged in front of you, his knees pressed against the sides of the short hallway, but he didn't care, instead, he focused on your facial expression as you very slightly looked to your left, allowing him a view of your neck.
He slowly inched towards you, giving you plenty of time to pull back and change your mind, but when you didn't, he moved forward, brushed his nose against your bare neck and rejoiced at the fact you still smelt just as strong as you did in his dreams.
He was nearly salivating at the scent, and he selfishly pushed himself deeper into your neck, letting his face push you around slightly while his body shivered at the properties of your touch.
He was doing everything he could not to let his hands roam around your body and investigate where you smelt sweetest, but his euphoric daydreaming was ruined by the sound of Max speaking to you in English.
When you answered back, he felt a sharp electric zap of possessiveness power through him. You were his mate, you weren't meant to be speaking to other men, and you were certainly not told to talk to other single men.
Neteyam growled something over your shoulder to Max and then picked you up gently and rose you to his body so he could set you on his lap. He placed your back against his chest and let his hands entrap your waist to ensure you kept still.
You yelped a little as you suddenly felt your feet leave the ground. Then you let out an 'oof' as Neteyam sat you on his thigh, allowing you to face the other men in the room as he mindlessly returned to bury his head into your neck, forcing your head to an unnatural angle as you nervously chuckled.
"Friendly guy, huh?" You asked the science geeks, but they were both looking at each other with scandalized stares, both more shocked than you had ever seen.
Neteyam’s grip on your waist tightened as he found a hotspot of sweat that was pooling in your neck. The sweet aroma nearly knocked him out with the jolt of pleasure it sent directly to his brain.
Max's jaw dropped while Norm let out an unbelieving chuckle, pointing to your two entangled bodies with an open hand and then back to Max as if to ask what was happening. If it was a competition between who was more aghast, you weren't sure who won.
"This isn't uh...this isn't a greeting used for friends y/n", Max tried to explain while beating around the bush as Norm was still unable to form a single word in English or Na'vi.
Your brow creased in confusion, but then you felt canines gently nip at your neck, and you squeaked as your hand flew up and grabbed onto Neteyam's forearm before you growled out his name in anger at his unchecked drunken actions.
Neteyam's hot breath fanned your neck as he grumbled out another line that nobody had translated to you yet, which worked to push you closer to the edge of frustration.
"What is he saying?" You asked as you squirmed away from his touch, only to have him drag you back into him and gently kiss your neck, making you scream as you let go of your motor functions and thrashed him off.
He pulled his head back with a scowl before once again he said something and let one hand off your waist so he could lightly pull your head back by your hair, allowing him access to freely rub his cheek around your jugular. You choked out at his harsh movements, but neither Norm nor Max seemed too concerned for your safety.
He rubbed his skin against your neck, and for a second, you swore you heard the deep rumbling of a purr thundering across the hallway, but Neteyam quickly cut it off with an embarrassed cough.
"He's uh, well, he's saying a lot", Max was even more flustered than you as he turned to Norm and nodded for him to take over the translation.
"He's trying to tell us to stay away, he's trying to scent you", Norm found his voice, and if you couldn't see the shock and slightly affronted stare he was holding with you through Neteyam's braids, you would have almost thought you were back in the lab and he was explaining the biology of the flower to again.
"Well, can you tell the knucklehead to knock it off?" You huffed with a provoked tinge to your voice as Neteyam let your hair go and returned to his original spot in the crook of your neck.
You would never admit it, not even on your deathbed, but the touch was welcome as his warm skin brushed against you and sent ravenous desire through your soul. The fact you had your colleagues standing in front of you as Neteyam touched you so intimately was really the only problem.
"Do you want us to lose a limb?" Norm tried to joke, but you didn't appreciate his humor.
The feeling of a hot, wet, velvety tongue being dragged from the base of your neck to your jaw made you whine, and the two older men's eyes snapped to Neteyam as you finally decided you had enough of being humiliated.
You ripped yourself from his grip and snapped your head to stare at him angrily, but he only chuckled and his deep voice rumbled through your core as another line came from his mouth. You had no idea what he said, but his hooded eyes and loving smirk tightened your core with a lustful tug.
You spun around again and let your rage spill over.
"Somebody better tell me what he's saying right now before I go crazy!" You yelled. Neteyam let his hands depart from your body and gave you the room to jump from his grip so you could stand with your back to him.
Norm stuck his hands up in mock surrender and shook his head.
"I'm not translating that one", he leaned over and smacked Max on the back for support.
The older man choked on his breath and stumbled to find the right words as Neteyam hungrily eyed your back in front of him.
"He's calling you his muntxa...his mate", Max looked fortified at his words and instantly dropped your gaze as you felt yourself cease entirely to exist.
You turned sharply towards Neteyam, and suddenly the gift, the smelling and the scenting all made sense. You could feel everything in you turn red with blush as you started wildly shaking your head and waving your hands above your head in an 'x' shape which yanked his wandering eyes back to your face.
"No muntxa! No thank you! Find a pretty Na'vi woman, okay? I'm not interested!" You shouted each word louder as if somehow he would be able to understand you if your speech became more pronounced.
"That's not how it works, you can't just turn him down" Norm tried to explain from behind you with an amused huff as Neteyam stared at your outburst in confusion.
He understood most of what you said, but why would you turn him down if you were his mate? There was no questioning that you were his because everything about you was made to draw him in, but it was clear you weren't happy.
His tail paused midair behind him, and he brought it forwards, testing how angry you were by letting the tip of the limb lay by your foot.
You stared down at his tail in curiosity. You let its presence leave your mind as you turned around and asked what exactly you had to do in order to get Neteyam to understand that you couldn't have been his mate because you weren't even the same species. But then you felt the whip-like extremity slowly curl its tip around your ankle.
You went to kick it off, but the tail only slithered further up until it was snugly wrapped around your thigh.
Neteyam's heart sang out as you looked down at the tail without movement, and while in reality, you were too shocked to move, he took it as acceptance and let his large hands creep over to gently grab you again.
"No, Neteyam!" You sternly yelled as his fingers barely grasped your waist.
He let out a long groan as if he were a child being denied a treat by his mother. He couldn't possibly see what the issue was. He pulled his tail back and spoke directly to the human men for the first time since his arrival.
"Why is she so mad, huh? Tell her I'm a good choice for a mate", he couldn't wrap his head around your stubborn unwillingness to let his hands roam where they pleased, and your denial was starting to vex him.
You listened closely as Max translated the interaction between Neteyam and Norm while they spoke to each other in Na'vi.
"It's not that she think's you're a bad choice, she just doesn-", Neteyam's impatience cut off Norm.
"Good, then she can be my mate", he truly saw no issue and was at a loss as to why you weren't all over him in the same manner.
Sure, you were human, and maybe it was odd, but over the week he had been apart from you, he had never felt so lonely, and that loneliness had fueled his courage to take his first steps into the laboratory. He wanted to see you and maybe even take you outside if that was what you wanted, but it was clear you were still getting used to him for now.
"Neteyam, she doesn't know anything about--", Norm was beginning to irritate him, and Neteyam looked over to you as he spoke his following words.
"I will teach her, she will learn", Neteyam didn't care if you didn't know anything. It wasn't of any issue to him.
He would have to protect you with everything he had to keep you safe outside. He wanted you close, and saving you would keep him busy, just how he wanted to be.
Neteyam left the conversation with Norm, much to the scientist's annoyance, and shuffled closer to you, forcing you to stare up at Neteyam as he stared down at you.
"If you want me to leave, I'll leave, but I won't ever come back and you won't see me again", his words were empty, and he knew it, but his hopes were that you wouldn't catch onto his poker face and you would answer in his favor.
Norm took a turn translating for you with a sigh as he knew that Neteyam was lying. The bond between mates was too much to abandon, and while Neteyam had clearly found his points of interest in you, it seemed to be that you hadn't latched onto any intoxicating part of him as quickly.
Your face fell into sadness at the idea of never seeing him again, but you drew your lips closed in thought, trying to debate what exactly to say.
Neteyam took your silence coldly and scoffed as he shook his head in doubt before he turned to leave, but you quickly jumped up and grabbed onto the end of his braid that had nearly smacked you in the face with his momentum.
"Don't leave!" You cried out while the men behind you gasped and quickly called out for you to drop the end of the knot, which you promptly acted in compliance with.
It was Neteyam's turn to freeze at your touch. You could feel that you had done something wrong, so you went to apologize, but when Neteyam's eyes met yours, it was as if he had love hearts in place of his eyes.
He went back to ignoring Max and Norm's attendance as he pushed himself to the floor and gently approached you with open hands so he could snatch you back up and return to his favorite place; your neck.
He didn't stick around long though, and after a quick fill-up of his addiction, he replaced you. He turned to Max to toss a comment at him before he stood up and jogged over to his bow before he swiftly departed as you called out to him, letting out apology after apology in fear it was your touch that had scared him off.
"I'm sorry! Look, I didn't know! Come back here! Ugh, you can't keep your hands off me when I tell you off, and then you won't come near me when I say I'm sorry? What is with you?" You yelled out, but nothing could stop the man as he ducked his head out of the door and set off to close the airlock behind himself.
"I'm confused, what did I do?" You cried out as you spun around, seeking answers, but Max only chuckled at you as he took his glasses off to wipe them on his lab coat.
"He's not mad, he said he has to go hunting for you, it's a Na'vi courting ritual, they bring you as much as they think you're worth in food", he acted as if this was a regular thing to say while you just shook your head in bemusement.
"He realizes I probably can't eat half the stuff out there, right?" You craned your neck to see the young man had already turned tail and was nowhere to be found.
"We'll have to see because there is no doubt he's coming back for you."

All I Know is You
Tumblr media
Roxto x reader
Chapter tags: maybe fluff, Rotxo being anxious for y/n’s safety, supportive Aonung and Tseyira 💞, Ronal taking care of y/n
Chapter 1, Chapter 2
The heat of Pandora’s sun burnt the unconscious figure as she floated through the water. Though she wasn’t fully awake her hands clenched the piece of her boat still left. Nav’i can survive five days with no food or water Leyleta had only a few more hours till her body shut down.
“Eywa” her mouth barely moved as she could only whisper the name. Could her prayer even be heard this far from the land? “Eywa if you can hear me, please…sav-“
Her exhausted muscles gave out. The last thing she heard was the sound of splashing before she sunk deeper and deeper into the blue waters.
🌊🌊🌊🌊
Rotxo thought he found a very odd looking dead fish…until he got closer and realized it was—
“A girl?”
He examined her blue skin, darker than his and her markings looked nothing like any Metkayina he had ever seen. And he found he could not hear her heart.
His eyes widened as he quickly swam to the surface. He hoped she would gasp for air or splash around but the lifeless body of the Nav’i girl floated in his arms, motion less.
“Ahï” he called out to his Ilu
“Eywa, help her please.” He whispered as he grasped her limp form. Her skin was warm, not just from the sun, she hadn’t been gone for long.
The village wasn’t too far, she could hold on till then. Rotxo knew she could.
As soon as he came up on Home Waters he called out for help. Aonung was the first to hear, instantly running to his friend’s side and helping him and the mysterious girl out of the water.
Rotxo lifted her from the water, she was light and frail at this point.
“Your mother—we need Tsahík!” His determined and somber expression encouraged Aonung to act quickly.
“Mother!” He called out, now more Metkayina had poked their heads out of their maruis to see the commotion.
Tonowari was first to arrive on the scene that had unfolded and many Metkayina had followed Rotxo as he headed for the marui. He broke tsaheylu in a fluid motion and called out to Roxto.
“Here, boy! Bring her here!”
Roxto hesitated before jogging over to Tonowari, meeting him half way. The Olo’eyktan would be able to hold her better and get her to Tsahík quickly.
Roxto gave her one last look before Tonowari disappeared into the maruis, she was paler than before. Aonung skid to a halt next to him, Roxto ignored the sand that piled on his foot because of it. He was in shock—hopping he didn’t just carry her dead body.
She’s gonna be ok
She’s gonna be ok
She’s gonna be ok
He didn’t know this girl, her name or where she came from, but he felt so responsible for her already.
His thoughts were interrupted by the crowd of his fellow Na’vi clamoring for the details of what had just transpired. He answered as much as he could but he only knew a little. He couldn’t quite satisfy them.
🌱🌱🌱🌱
I could hear voices before I could see anything. My eyelids felt heavy and weighed down—my whole body felt weak like a Thanator—no a whole Talioang was laying on me. The sounds around me confused me, so unfamiliar. My nostrils flared as my sense of smell flooded in. I took in the smells of salt and fish.
“I don’t know where she came from.”
A man’s voice, it was deep and hushed; they still thought I was asleep. I decided I wanted to keep it that way as I couldn’t place the voice. He was a stranger.
“You said Roxto was carrying her from the shore? She just washed up?”
“She may be Tayrangi or Omatikaya.”
“Her clothes, they are more indicative of Omatikaya.”
“Toruk Mokto. She’s a forest Navi.”
“We will ask her these things when she wakes up.”
“Best we let her rest. We should have Roxto gather water and food for her; he is eager to help. S’been pacing up and down the walk ways all afternoon, poor boy.”
I could barely think from my piercing headache. I was sure that nothing in my whole life was better than water in this moment. But I began increasingly aware of one thing.
What was my life? Who was Toruk Mokto and what was an Omatikaya?
Who am I?
🪸🌿🪸🌿🪸
Rotxo looked up from where he was been sitting “Is she awake?” He stood up in attendance.
Tsireya who had joined him a few minutes before, looked expectantly at her father.
Tonowari, who had barely opened the tent flap to find Roxto came out of his marui.
“Uh yes, but one at a time. She’s not in the best condition. Roxto why don’t you come first then if she’s ready Tsireya you may join.”
Roxto quickly headed in.
First chapter down and I’m already starting on the other one! I hope to update soon! Let me know what you think! Xoxoxo

Spider's First Courting Gift (Na'vi male x Spider fic teaser)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Aged Up Spider x Na'vi Male OC
Note: Barely proofread. This sneak peek is subject to small changes. The full fic is on it's way<3
Tumblr media
The fabric slips along his fingers like the sway of a rushing river, a smooth effortless motion. His own grimy hands caked with dirt and a hint of blood from rough housing with Neteyam look horrifying next to the carefully crafted garment. In fact, it’s enough to have Spider setting the piece to the side and rushing to the bathroom so he can wash his hands. It would be a shame to ruin the loincloth so quickly simply because of his bad hygiene.
Stomping past Norm and the other lounging scientists he tries to ignore him.
“Kid, what have I told you about leaving your mask on the ground?” Norm huffs but Spider is already closing the door to the cramped bathroom.
He may have been a teenager when he was captured by the RDA but now has come into full adulthood. Something Norm seems to have a hard time understanding. Spider doesn’t care how much water he hogs in order to get every speck of dirt and grime from his hands. He only leaves the cramped bathroom when his skin is scrubbed raw and red.
Leaning back against the woven hammock he allows himself the proper time to just admire the details of his new gift. It’s a beautiful emerald green with precise stitching that works to outlines patterns of leaves and greenery. Under the harsh light of the outpost bulbs, the boy admires the way the thread glimmers with the shift of light. He thanks Eywa that it has a back panel. It may be something he is used to seeing with Na’vi but Spider can not imagine having his own ass hanging out of his loincloth, especially without a tail for it to wrap around.
Once he finally wrangles up the courage to try on the loincloth he is amazed to see how perfectly it fits. The fabric is like silk against his rough skin. Or at least what he remembers silk to feel like from that one time another scientist let him touch her silk pillowcase. The band is woven of various colored threads and twine that come together to create criss cross patterns. His fingers brush them softly in a silent reverence.
Spider looks at himself in the mirror and allows himself to drink in every inch of himself. Most days, the boy uses the mirror to simply swat at his dreadlock hair or repaint the blue stripes on his skin, but never can he remember a time that he uses it to admire himself. To look at his appearance head on and feel something more than indifference or longing to be a version of himself that is blue and a few feet taller.
Being a human is something that Spider has learned to make peace with, but that doesn’t mean he particularly likes the look of himself. The blue stripes help slightly to cover the extra squish of his body that is normally nonexistent across Na’vi stomachs. With the beautiful garment now fitted perfectly to his hips, Spider notices for the first time how good a color besides blue looks on him.
The heap of leather that is his usual loincloth seems like nothing more than a discarded washcloth now. Jake had been the one to show him how to weather the material and fashion it into clothing but from there the job had been his own to update the garment in stride with his growth spurts.
The loincloth is so  clean and pristine in comparison to the rest of Spider’s appearance that for a moment he considers putting it away for safekeeping. What would happen if he tore a hole in it or got dirt rubbed into the careful stitching? It’s too beautiful to take the risk.
However, when his fingers start to undo the carefully tied knots at the sides, he catches another glance of himself in the mirror and he hesitates. It looks so much better than before. He looks so much better than before. Maybe it has nothing to do with the loincloth’s quality at all. Perhaps it’s the careful thought and effort put into such an extraordinary gift. A thought for him. Just him and only him.
One simple reminder that someone thinks he is worthy of nice things.
Spider allows himself the privilege of wearing this reminder throughout the day.

"It's called a punch, bitch! Don't ever touch my sister again."
"Get him, Ao'nung!"
"Show him!"
"Stop this! Stop it! So stupid!"
"Ow! My tail!"
"My ear! Let go! He's got my ear!"
Kiri had begun to laugh the nerves off, amused by the ridiculous display of testosterone in all her short teenage life. Hiding her giggles behind her hand, all she could do was watched as her brothers pathetically fought for her dignity against Ao'nung and some of the other reef boys. It had all been fun and games until she noticed a familiar figure in the sky and she craned her neck up to see it.
A shadow looms over the boys, darkening the world around them as it drew closer. Lo'ak and Neteyam both take a moment to recognize the shadow before dodging out of the way, hot blood cooling from the fight as they quickly moved out of the reef boys' reach. Ao'nung, laughing because he thought they were running scared of him, was the last to see the shadow, only pausing when he noticed his friends looking up and their eyes widen in horror. He isn't given a moment to turn around because something large lands in the shallow water behind him and the force of it drove him to stumble into the wet sand below him. The growling and snarls coming from behind the chief's son send chills down his frame, despite the warm day, as he finally turned his body around to stare up at the beast.
Blocking out the sun above him was a large ikran, light blue with gold lightning running up its figure, cawing loudly as if it had caught a meal. Its wings splash in the water, digging into the sand beneath and cooling off like a tired pa'li. Ao'nung began to crawl away from the ikran by the heel of his hands and feet, breath panting rapidly as the fear took over. The fear didn't lessen even as the ikran's rider dismounted, feet splashing into the beach water, drawing up to their ankles. Ao'nung tried to control his breathing as the rider stood over him, snarling down at the Metkayina boy like he was a bug that was stepped underfoot.
Y/n te Suli Neytiri'ite bore a look of disgust, her bright yellow eyes boring into Ao'nung's very soul. Without looking away from him, she addresses her ikran, her four-fingered hand petting down the side of the beast's neck, "Easy, girl. He's the wrong kind of fish. You can't eat him."
Looking around, the oldest daughter of Toruk Makto demanded answers with a stern tone, acting years older than fifteen, "What's the meaning of this?"
Lo'ak spat blood onto the sand, "They called us freaks."
Blink and you would miss it, but for Ao'nung, who refused to look away in fear of the ikran and her rider, he caught the small shift in Y/n's ears before they reverted back to normal. Her tail twitched, too, and from observation, he realized this was the Forest People's way of showing alertness or agitation.
Kiri had caught onto her sister's shift in behavior as well, her voice cautious, "Y/n..."
"Go home, Kiri. Now." Y/n's voice was flat, rid of emotion as she took charge of the situation, pointing to her twin brother, "'Teyam. Pick that skxawng up and go wash your face."
Neteyam nods dutifully, bending down and grabbing Lo'ak's elbow, the younger boy rolling his eyes at the name-calling. Y/n's eyes narrow at each of the reef boys before directing her gaze at Ao'nung, who stiffens under her close inspection, "As for you... You think it's hard to learn your ways. So why don't you try learning our ways and you can be the judge of that?"
The female Omatikaya gestures to the ikran behind her, one corner of her lips slowly turning up as a challenge, "Go ahead. Make the bond."
In response, Y/n's ikran hissed, fangs bared and jaw open wide. Ao'nung could feel the hot breath of the animal fanning his face and could see down its throat. Suddenly the courage and the teasing had left his body. Eyes still wide, unable to look away, Ao'nung can only swallow down his rapid breathing while Y/n just huffs, unimpressed, "As I suspected. You're not even brave enough to get back on your feet. You wouldn't last ten minutes in the forest, Fish Lips."
Y/n waited until all three of her siblings were walking away before she made the tsaheylu with her ikran and mounted the creature, eyebrows raised while peering down her nose at Ao'nung, "Who's the freak now?"
She had flown away, leaving Ao'nung in the sand, the ocean brushing his legs while his friends stood around, gawking. After returning her ikran to the jungle behind the village, Y/n bounded her way back to the Sullys' marui, internally preparing herself for what her siblings likely told her parents. She was not disappointed as she turned the corner, entering the tent to only find her father waiting for her, her siblings already gone from sight.
"What the hell were you doing back there?" Jake demanded under his breath the moment he saw his eldest daughter.
"What do you mean?"
"Do not try playing dumb with me right now. Your brothers already told me what happened."
"I was humbling Ao'nung." She scoffed, smiling to herself as she mocked the boy not currently present, "He couldn't bond with an ikran even if he tried. They would eat him."
Jake sighed, exhausted beyond his years at her antics as he placed one hand on his hip and the other on his pounding head, "You weren't trying to humble him, Y/n, you were humiliating him. And you knew what you were doing."
She shrugged, "Either way it's a win-win. A bruised ego is a lesson-learned ego. That is, if he's smart enough to actually learn his lesson--"
"That's enough, young lady," Jake spoke sternly, the marine in him making an appearance, "Ao'nung is the chief's son. You either need to get along with him or at the very least respect him."
"And I am Toruk Makto's daughter!" Y/n snapped back, "Maybe respect should go both ways."
"Enough."
The tone drove Y/n to straighten her posture, glaring into the space ahead of her, avoiding her father's gaze as he approached her, "Any more backlash comes out of that smart mouth of yours and you'll be grounded from flying."
Her bottom lip pokes out as she pouts. Jake's eyebrow raises at her reaction and the simple facial movement is all Y/n needs before she mumbles out, "Yes, sir."
"Good. Now get lost." Slouching, she turns to leave.
"Hey..." She turns back to find her father standing there instead of the marine, his features softening into curiosity, "How scared was Ao'nung?"
A grin slowly dawns on Y/n's face, stretching the stardust on her cheeks, "Terrified."
"Atta girl."
~~~~~~~~~
It was close to eclipse and both Neteyam and Y/n were flying their ikran, bows in hand, and enjoying a few more laps around the island before they were forced to return to the village. Neteyam makes a hand gesture and instructs his ikran to dive, his twin closely following them on hers.
They land in the jungle, their ikran hooking their claws into the trunks and vines of the vast trees. Breaking the bond, Y/n jumped to one branch and then skillfully climbed down the trunk, Neteyam not far behind her. The twins land gracefully on the forest floor, their conversation cut off midsentence to the sound of a twig snapping. Both of them spin their heads in the same direction they heard the noise, their ears wildly twitching with every little sound they heard. Finally, with bated breath, the figure behind the noise emerged. It was Ao'nung, walking towards them from the direction of the village, a big bruise now sprouting over the right side of his face.
"Does this guy have a death wish or something?" Y/n muttered to her brother, all the while peeking up at her ikran nestled in the trees above her.
"Don't react until we know what he wants," Neteyam advises, leaning his weight onto his bow, acting casual.
A little smug to spite her brother, Y/n called out to Ao'nung as he approached them, "Little far from the reef, are we Fish Lips?"
He doesn't react to the insult other than a small sneer gracing said lips. When he stood still in front of the twins, they both noticed how he was struggling to look them in the eyes. His fingers twitched, trying to find something to do while he muttered, "I did something... some would think dumb."
"Some?"
"Tsmuke." Neteyam hissed at Y/n from under his breath.
Ao'nung continued, ears flattening to the point he looked ashamed of himself, "I brought your brother hunting outside the reef. And..."
"And?" Neteyam urged him to continue.
"And I left him there."
Y/n's head tilts at the same time her pupils shrink and her fangs make an appearance, "You did what?"
"I thought he'd find his way back to the village eventually, but he still hasn't returned. I just wanted to scare him!" Ao'nung defended himself, albeit a bit weakly, his eyes pleading when he finally looked up at stared directly at Y/n, "That's all!"
She huffs a laugh of disbelief through her nose and it sounded irritable. Y/n peered over at Neteyam with narrowed eyes, "I was right, brother. He does have a death wish."
"That's enough, Y/n!" Neteyam keeps a hand out in front of his sister to keep her at bay, then uses that hand to point accusingly at Ao'nung, "And you! We're going to see my father and you're gonna tell him what you told us. Let's go!"
Defeated and preparing for the inevitable, Ao'nung has the decency to at least lower his head in shame, half of his face still swollen from the fistfight so he winced in pain when he pouted. Neteyam moves to lead the three teens out of the jungle and Ao'nung moves to follow him. A hand shoves his arm, however, and the hiss Y/n breathes into his ear as she walked past him was the exact opposite of friendly.
"If my little brother is dead out there because of you, I promise not even Eywa will find whatever is left of you."
The twins had marched Ao'nung to their family's marui, demanding he explains to Jake what he did. After carefully listening, Toruk Makto didn't hesitate to seek out Tonowari and together they start a search party. It was already dark by the time the party set out, carrying tsmisnrr lanterns and other means of light around as they flew around on their tsurak. Neteyam and Y/n even took part in the search, flying their ikran back out after their parents made them promise to stay within sight of the village.
Soon enough, a Metkayina warrior hollers out a warning call, indicating he had found the missing boy. Lo'ak was safely brought back to the village and everyone had gathered around to check on his well-being. Neteyam and Y/n landed in the sand and rushed up to meet with their brother, watching him with their eyes as Jake and Neytiri inspect him for physical wounds. Overall, he appeared unharmed, all the while he glared up at Ao'nung, who had the decency to look ashamed. As the olo'eyktan insisted that his son was to blame for this incident, Lo'ak surprisingly came to Ao'nung's rescue, blaming himself and speaking for the other boy's innocence. Jake was not amused by Lo'ak's method of gaining friends and sent the boy home after berating him for shaming the family. Once alone, both Jake and Neytiri turn to Neteyam.
"Where were you?"
"Yeah, what happened to keeping an eye on your brother?"
"Sorry, sir."
Y/n, always her brother's shadow, stepped up from behind him, appearing in the soft glow of the village lanterns, "No, it was my fault. I asked 'Teyam to come flying with me and hunt." When both parents turned to one another, exchanging a voiceless conversation, Y/n's tail twitched, "You DID say we should always pair up if we ever go flying over open water."
Jake's posture deflated, eyes closed to refrain from getting another headache, "Sweetie--"
"He can't be in two places at once, Dad," the teen girl stated with drooping big eyes and lowered ears, "That's not fair. Instead of relying on your son to look after your kids, how about the parents do it for a change?"
The words stun both the parents and brother, all three staring at Y/n in shock as if she had just grown a second head. Neytiri's shock is the first to shrink in and turn to guilt, bottom lip puckered as she moved to reach out for her daughter. Jake didn't contract whatever sentiment his mate was feeling, however, as his posture stiffened back into a former olo'eyktan and war leader. He pointed an accusing finger at her.
"This attitude, Y/n, wherever it came from, stops now. This rebellious phase is over, young lady."
"Ma Jake." Neytiri's tone was gentle, with a small hint of a threat, as if daring Jake to interrupt her, "She is fifteen. Do you remember what you were like at that age? Although I doubt this personality is not a phase. I believe it is from watching you."
Jake looked back at his mate, scandalized while Neytiri just smiles and places her hand on Y/n's shoulder, "Look at her, Jake. Look at both of them."
He dutifully turned to inspect the twins, both of them staring up at him with identical, pouting eyes that nearly made him cave to anything they asked for when they were little. They kept their hair braided and near their shoulders, aligned with beads much like the hairstyle Neytiri wore when Jake first met her all those years ago. Their tanhì were not identical, Neteyam's forming rounded or lined patterns along his nose and under his eyes while Y/n's appear more scattered on her forehead and down her cheeks like constellations. Neteyam didn't have eyebrow hair, Y/n did. He didn't have an extra finger on each hand, but Y/n did. Both looked like Neytiri, which was easy to see, but Neteyam inherited more Na'vi features from their mother while Y/n definitely inherited the alien features from their father.
Neytiri admired her two oldest children with a fond smile as she reached out to grip her husband's arm, "They are the perfect balance of what we were like. They inherited the best parts of us."
A beat of silence is left between the four of them before Jake relents, unable to look his children in the eyes any longer and waving them away, defeated, "Go rest. Make sure your brother's alright."
"Yes, sir." They both say simultaneously, trying not to appear rushed when they quickly made their exit, beads clinking together as their braids moved while they walked.
~~~~~~~~~
The next day, both Neteyam and Y/n were surprised to discover Ao'nung hanging out with Lo'ak willingly, and Lo'ak didn't appear bothered. In fact, the future olo'eyktan didn't seem interested in being anywhere unless with the Sully kids and his sister and Rotxo. He still appeared wary of them, but at least he wasn't insulting them under his breath anymore. At one point in the early afternoon, all the kids huddled around on the rocks by the beach after their chores were done and had asked Lo'ak what happened the night before. He explained how he was attacked by an akula but saved by a tulkun. The reef children doubted his story until Lo'ak gave a brief description of the creature. Tsireya, Ao'nung, and Rotxo were all shocked and explained the horror stories they knew of Payakan, unwilling to believe he could have been friendly to Lo'ak until the young Omatikaya stormed away.
Y/n had listened quietly and waited until she was back in the marui to voice her thoughts while she and her twin were weaving a fishing net together, "He's confusing."
"Who?" Neteyam looked up and caught the knowing look in her eye, "Ao'nung?"
"Yeah. He's acting... nice. He's actually sweet when he's not around the other reef boys."
"Yeah, he acts like he's related to Tsireya." Neteyam chuckled lightly through his nose.
"You think Lo'ak made up with him?"
"I think so. Or maybe some level of respect and understanding has been placed."
"Still. He was cruel." She snarled, willing herself to remember the reef boy up until the day they met him, "I don't understand how Lo'ak could forgive him. He nearly died because of Ao'nung. Kiri was harrassed by him and you guys fought."
Neytiri and Jake both enter the marui and weren't ashamed to admit they were eavesdropping when the Na'vi woman pitched in on the conversation, sitting down in front of her twins to help with the net, "He's likely just starting to warm up to you, maite."
Neteyam grins teasingly, eyebrow ridge raised in his sister's direction while speaking to his mother, "Yeah, her especially. You should see the way he stares at Y/n when she's not looking, sa'nok."
Y/n feels her neck crack when she spun her head to stare at her brother, appalled as he laughed. Obviously, he must be right about Ao'nung staring when she wasn't looking since this was all news to Y/n. Her shock turns into a scowl as she reaches over to push his shoulder, "That's ridiculous. I attacked him with an ikran, ridiculed him in front of his friends, and threatened to tear him to pieces if anything happened to Lo'ak. He's likely planning another way to humiliate me."
Jake was cleaning his gun while they talked but took a moment to side-eye his daughter when she mentioned threatening the life of the chief's son. Y/n only smiled back in response to her father's silent scrutiny, her tail waving behind her with feigned innocence. Jake returned to his weapon while shaking his head, though he didn't hide the small corner of his mouth turning up. Neytiri smiled while watching the interaction, though it didn't reach her eyes. A small wave of sadness embraced her, a harsh reminder that her babies were growing and she could not keep them forever. Soon they'll be old enough to be considered adults once they have fully completed the trials of their Iknimaya, and then they'll be free to choose their mates. The idea of her children teasing each other over innocent little crushes brings both fondness and sadness to Neytiri's mind. Where had the time gone?
She shuffled from her sitting position in order to reach her daughter, pulling a braid out of Y/n's face, "People are cruel when they're faced with something they don't understand, matxe'lan."
"Neytiri, don't you dare try to teach our daughter Ao'nung is mean to her because he likes her," Jake spoke up, finished cleaning his weapon and now looking down the sights of it with a certain reef boy at the forefront of his mind, "That way of thinking never worked on Earth and I'll be damned if I let my children believe that sort of behavior is normal."
"It is true." Neytiri's eyes began to glitter with mischief, "Although if you are anything like your father, you'll likely make a skxawng of yourself when trying to impress someone."
Jake nearly chokes while his twins burst out laughing.
~~~~~~~~~
Y/n was disappointed when she was the last of her family to finish chores late in the day, leaving her alone while they were all elsewhere. Tsireya and Rotxo have taken Neteyam, Kiri, and Tuk to the Cover of the Ancestors to show them where their Spirit Tree resided, and Lo'ak disappeared right before then, likely to go meet with his new 'friend'. As for her parents, Y/n was certain they were with Tonowari and Ronal for the day, helping them gather medicinal plants from the jungle. This left Y/n to her own devices, though she didn't have any idea what to do with this newfound freedom, so she started by just casually walking along the beach. She traveled quite a ways, the village now in the distance behind her. The beach was getting thinner to the point where she was surrounded. One side of her held the vast ocean, the other side a dense, deep green jungle. Y/n wondered how long it would take for her to completely walk around the whole island, betting on possibly two days if she did nothing but sleep and walk.
Her thoughts are interrupted by the sound of something breaking through the gentle waves reaching up to the beach, and as her head spins around, her eyes immediately narrow on who was following.
It was Ao'nung, astride a hyper ilu as he himself appeared in a chipper mood, perking up and waving a fin-hand at her, "Hey! Forest Girl! Where are you going?"
"None of your business, Seaweed Brain." Was her immediate response, her internal defenses on high alert. She kept walking away but Ao'nung made sure to keep in stride with her, swimming just close enough to the shore where his ilu wouldn't get beached.
"Well, then let me come with you. Or if you are not actually going anywhere, I can show you a few good spots."
Her head turns back to him, openly skeptical as she pointedly stared at the distant village behind him, "What about your dick friends?"
He flashed her a confused grin, "My what?"
Right. 'Dick' is an alien word. Y/n huffs, rolling her eyes and facing ahead, still walking away, "You know, the pricks you were with while you were harassing my sister. Are they coming, too?"
"Oh. I dropped them."
It was said so casually, but it only confused her more, repeating the words on her own tongue, "You dropped them?"
"I don't like hanging out with them anymore," He shrugged, maneuvering his ilu to drift into deeper waters when it got too shallow, "They're no fun. All they wanna do is annoy everyone."
"And you don't?"
"Ha ha," he replied sarcastically with a deadpanned expression, "Come on, Forest Girl. Do I look like I'm in a position to trick you? I know your ikran is just one call away. I'm not that stupid."
"No?" She feigns surprise even as she slowly enters the water, the ocean greeting her up to her knees. She knew he had a good point and therefore, because of her boredom, decided to humor the reef boy and take up on his offer, "'Could've fooled me. Your stupid enough not to remember my real name."
Ao'nung rolls his eyes, "You don't exactly use my real name either."
One corner of the Omatikaya girl's lips stretches up and she shrugs with one shoulder in a touché motion. Using her tongue to make various clicks and calls, another ilu emerges from the ocean, and Y/n wads over to it, skillfully mounting it and making tsaheylu. Getting situated, she turns to Ao'nung impatiently, "Well? You mentioned a 'good spot'. Let's see it."
His grin wasn't the usual mischievous smile she had grown to correlate with him. It was more genuine and excited, his blue eyes twinkling like when the sun catches the striking blue sea. Y/n blinks in surprise at her own thoughts, quickly shoving them down as she tightens her jaw and her grip on the ilu, stubbornly staring ahead instead of at the boy.
Ao'nung drifted ahead of her, looking back over his shoulder, "Follow me! The best time to see it is at eclipse."
Both he and his ilu dive under the water and with only her thoughts, Y/n holds her breath and wills her ilu to do the same. The scenery vastly changes from land to ocean life, and the beauty below the water doesn't get ignored. Y/n was still fascinated by the ocean, always finding something new and exciting to explore. She dutifully follows Ao'nung and his ilu, smiling at the cute clicks and hums the swimming creatures make to each other. Swimming on an ilu isn't that different from flying on an ikran, only the ikran only have one rider their whole lives. The similarity between swimming in the water and flying in the air is that they both feel like freedom, riding faster than the two young Na'vi could on their own.
It wasn't a long swim, but they had completely lost the village behind them, still following the beach in the opposite direction as Y/n was doing earlier. Eventually, Ao'nung and his ilu rise to the surface, and Y/n follows, greedily gulping down air when she and her ilu breach. As she caught her breath, she looked around, trying to decipher where they were until she follows Ao'nung's gaze, her jaw slowly dropping in awe.
A large shadow had quickly grown over the teens in their approach. Looming above them was a high cliff, connected to the island and facing the open sea. This large rock face was greatly different from the ones Y/n remembered seeing as her family flew away from their home and flew across open seawater. Erosion had eaten its way through the center of the rock face, naturally cutting all the way through the cliff to form a large archway, hundreds of feet above Y/n's head. The only thing connecting the cliff to the rest of the island was the natural bridge made up of stone and plant life at the top of the arch.
"We call this place 'Sänrr Rong,'" Ao'nung explained while watching Y/n's amazed expression, craning her neck to look up at the tall archway, "'The Glow Tunnel.'"
Y/n lowered her head to face Ao'nung, the question on the tip of her tongue before he waves her off, "Wait a moment. You'll see."
And it was perfect timing. Eclipse came upon the pair and before her very eyes, Y/n witnessed a beautiful transformation. As the world darkened, bioluminescent algae began to glow and travel all the way up the inside walls of the rock archway, igniting the tunnel all the way through to the other side of the tunnel. It was so bright against the contrast of darkness that Y/n could look down and see all sorts of ocean life existing below her, an entire ecosystem that lived underneath this archway as she and Ao'nung slowly drifted through it. The water almost looked nonexistent because of how clear it was. The brightness of the arch led all the way down under the water and came back up the other side, surrounding them like a complete circle, giving off the illusion that Y/n and Ao'nung were floating on air, still straddling their peaceful ilu.
Ao'nung softly explains the beautiful sight, not wanting to ruin the illusion for the Na'vi girl, "The waves grow really high in this area, especially during storms. That's why the algae stretch all the way up to the ceiling of the tunnel. My people sing about this place, calling it the 'Doorway to Eywa' in many songs."
"Are we allowed to be here?" She asked, afraid this was a sacred place and as an outsider, she might be overstepping a boundary. This place was way too beautiful for her to be disrespecting it with her presence.
"We're still within the reef. Nothing big swims out here apart from txampaysye. We're safe. Some of the men take time away from the village and come here. Some of them cliff dive." Ao'nung catches a brief scrunch of her nose and eyebrows, an adorable expression if he wasn't trying to figure out her confusion, "You know-- cliff diving?"
Her expression falls into something more blank and impassive, unimpressed as she gestured to herself, "Do I look like I've lived around cliffs?"
He quips back in his own defense, "Do you not have an ikran rookery in the forest?"
"Well, yeah, but all the cliffs in Ayram Alusìng just lead to certain death. We don't have cliffs above water."
Ao'nung's jaw opened in disbelief, eyes bugging out of his skull as if she just told him the most unbelievable news of all time. The shock eventually wears off and is replaced by a shit-eating grin, the mischief she's grown accustomed to finally returning to his smile, "Come on. It'll be fun!"
He moves towards the cliffside and Y/n immediately reaches forward with a hand, words tumbling out, "Maybe some other time. We need to be home soon."
A mocking eyebrow ridge rises as he grins knowingly at her, "Are you sure you're not just scared?"
Her eyes narrow and her ears pin back, unwavering despite the nerves running about in her stomach, "I think you and I have been in enough trouble with our sa'sem as of late."
He relents then with a whiny groan, throwing his head up at the sky before coming back down to earth-- so to speak, "Fair enough."
The reef boy clicks his tongue, the ilu perking up attentively. Ao'nung moves to lead the way back home before he feels a hand briefly grip his arm, "Ao'nung."
He looks up, shocked as his eyes meet Y/n's, blue against yellow. Ao'nung's ilu makes a displeased noise, the creature doing a full-body shudder. Y/n didn't question it, but Ao'nung's gaze turned to the ilu, glaring down at it as if the animal betrayed him in some way shape or form. However, unbeknownst to Y/n, the ilu was only reacting to what it had felt through the bond after Ao'nung's name slipped past her lips. Ao'nung's glare relents after a moment, eyes glancing down at her small, alien hand touching his arm before he bravely glanced back up at her through his lashes.
She smiled, genuinely, like when she first saw the beauty of the archway. The attention sent a thrill up his spine, "Thank you for bringing me here."
His mouth felt dry, the tip of his ears burning but he was certain she couldn't tell in the dark. Perhaps the big ugly bruise her brother left on his face masked the embarrassment. He couldn't stare at her any longer and glanced back in the direction of the village, "You're welcome, Y/n."
Eclipse was over by the time they returned to the village. They had not returned as soon as they left, often finding themselves distracted during their swim home when either Ao'nung splashed her or Y/n chased him around on their ilu. Either way, their mounts weren't irritated, equally playful and mischievous as their riders. The young N'avi pair both felt estranged when they heard the other laugh, but it only egged them on to play around more, wanting to hear their laugh again. By the time they exhausted themselves from playing, they realized how much time had passed and finally returned to the village.
The only problem was that the village seemed tense upon their return. The joy quickly fled from Ao'nung and Y/n's faces, both scared and worried they were in trouble. However, the attention was not on the pair of teenagers, but on the gunship with war paint parked quietly on the bank closest to the Sullys' marui.
Ao'nung grabbed Y/n's shoulder instinctively and pulled her back to him, hissing at the sight of the gunship, "Sky People."
Y/n huffed and shoved his hand away, hope in her eyes with a small smile at the sight of the familiar war paint, "No, not these ones. These ones are loyal to the Na'vi and live among my clan."
Cautious and a little paranoid, Ao'nung only relented a little and eyed her down, "What are they doing here?"
That's where the hope died in her eyes, worry replacing it, "I don't know. I doubt nothing good."
The pair quickly rush to the Sullys' marui, finding a crowd of curious and equally paranoid Metkayina crowding up and down the walkways leading up to Y/n's home, worrying her further. Of course, it's always her family...
The first face she recognized was her twin, surrounded by Lo'ak and Rotxo. She rushed to her brothers with Ao'nung not far behind her, "'Teyam?" Neteyam spun around and his posture visibly relaxed, hand reaching out to gently grab the back of her neck as she looked around, "What's happening?"
"Kiri had a seizure underwater." He answered, eyes briefly glancing to Ao'nung standing behind his sister, taking note of it but not addressing it.
"What?" Y/n's eyes widen, her voice dropping to a whisper, shaking in fear.
"I don't know what happened." Rotxo explained, glancing between the teens who had just arrived, "I've never seen anything like it."
Ao'nung frowned, "Where are my mother and sister?"
"They're on their way. But there's Sky People in there, examining Kiri."
"I told you," Lo'ak addressed the concerned Rotxo, "Max and Norm are our friends. They want to help her."
Ao'nung turned to Y/n, "Aren't you the tsakarem of your clan? You could go to your sister."
Y/n shook her head, pulling Neteyam's hand off her head and squeezing it before letting go, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves, "I chose not to be. Either Neteyam will find a mate who can be tsahik one day... or Kiri can do it. She's been more fascinated by it than I. And she had been teaching Tuk a thing or two..."
Y/n's eyes widen as a thought dawns on her, looking around before addressing her brothers, "Where's Tuk?"
"She's with Kiri."
"She shouldn't have to see something like that. She's too little."
Before Y/n could rush to the marui to fetch her baby sister, the tsahik arrived. Ronal glides through the crowds as they part for her, the destination the only thing on her mind. Tsireya walked close behind her with her mother's supplies gathered in her arms, handing them to her before Ronal stepped into the home. Tsireya remained outside, turning back to her group of friends, and managing to catch Y/n by the shoulders before she stepped into the marui.
"Let her work, Y/n. My mother needs the space and there are already plenty of people in there."
"But--"
"Your parents and Tuk are with Kiri," the reef girl spoke gently, smiling with understanding and kindness as she guides Y/n away, "She is not alone, I promise. She'll be alright."
The group of teens keep a reasonable distance away from the marui, sitting or standing around in each other's company as they waited. Tsireya kept Y/n close to her as if she was waiting for the Omatikaya girl to bolt. Meanwhile, Y/n took note that her father had brought Norm and Max out of the home, but her mother, sister, and Ronal were nowhere to be found, and that made her more anxious than before.
Rotxo tried breaking the silence, glancing up at his childhood friend, "So what have you been up to today, Ao'nung?"
Ao'nung, who had his arms crossed while crouched down, glanced up casually, "I went to the Arch today."
"Without me? Not cool, man."
The dig was playful as Ao'nung moved to shove him, "Well, you went to the Cove without me."
Tsireya giggled, "But you hate the Cove, Ao'nung."
Ao'nung's ears pin back and his gaze lowers to the weaving patterns of the walkway below his feet, embarrassed, "I do not."
"Do, too. You think it's boring."
"I wanna see the Cove," Lo'ak perked up, "And the Spirit Tree."
Tsireya practically beamed, ducking her head a little bashfully, "I'll take you next time."
"And me?" Y/n asked, smirking to herself when she watched her little brother's face fall at the idea of her tagging along.
Lo'ak tries brushing his disappointment away with a scoff, "Maybe Ao'nung can take you, sis."
"Or we could all go together," Tsireya offered.
Y/n could tell that Tsireya was just trying to be nice. Well, Tsireya is always nice, but sometimes she's a little too nice. She'll gladly let Y/n come along even if it meant not having as much time with Lo'ak. It was disgusting how obvious those two were. Y/n rolls her eyes jokingly and shakes her head, "Nah. Never liked being a third wheel. You kids have fun."
Lo'ak choked as he tried to form words of disagreement while the other kids laughed and Tsireya's cheeks darken a deeper shade of blue. Finally, Lo'ak managed to form words and they were clearly defensive, "You have never been a third wheel ever in our lives!"
Y/n quirks an eyebrow, "Bro, have you seen Kiri and Spider?"
"That's different! You know they don't like each other that way!"
"What way are you referring to?" Y/n grins wolfishly, tilting her head as Lo'ak realized she had caught him in a web, "And what makes you think I was implying you and Tsireya felt that way?"
As the younger Sully boy sputtered, Neteyam groans a little, nudging Y/n, "Alright, that's enough. Leave him alone or he's going to whine to me later."
"Yeah, Forest Girl," Y/n's eyes dart to the sound of his voice, catching the usual grin plastered on Ao'nung's face, "Let the little ones go. I'll take you to the Cove a different day."
Lo'ak bristled at the words, glaring at Ao'nung, "I take it back, Y/n. You can come with us."
Author's Note: Did I write this so I'd have a reason to call Ao'nung 'Seaweed Brain'? Yes, yes I did. For those who understood the reference I fucking love you.
Also, I don't personally ship Kiri and Spider, I just kind of used the pairing as a foothold for Y/n's brothers to tease her. I think they're cute, and I thought that's originally what James Cameron was going for, but the more I look into it the more I think they just love each other like siblings. In the graphic novel 'The High Ground', Kiri even states that she loves Spider like a brother and Spider doesn't question it. I think he loves her like an older sister because she protects him against other Na'vi (Neytiri) and she sticks up for him. She makes him feel like he belongs, hence why he chose her over Quaritch. Also, Kiri is played by Sigourney Weaver. I don't feel comfortable shipping two characters whose actors have zero chemistry and have a huge age gap. Clearly, I think their relationship will build up to something in the upcoming movies (Kiri uses her Eywa powers to grant Spider a kuru braid and he'll be able to breathe Pandoran air without a mask) but I don't think it'll have anything to do with romance.
That's my personal take on it. No hate to Spider/Kiri shippers. I know not everyone ships certain pairings and hates others because of their opinions and that's not what I was doing. I support Kiri/Spider shippers through and through. I also support Neteyam/Spider shippers (lowkey kinda cute) and Lo'ak/Spider shippers (also lowkey cute). Personally, I ship Ao'nung/Neteyam and I know people are going to hate me for that. But I don't hate people for shipping who they want.
Anyway, that's my PSA that ties to this Ao'nung x reader. Hope you enjoyed it!
