Kan and Akk are young queer men in modern times breaking themselves into pieces on hundred year old rules and morals that are holding them back, hurting them, leaving them yearning and wishing for more but unable to love themselves as they are.
Ayan and Thua represent the future, the self-acceptance. It doesn't end the pain, it doesn't solve everything, but it still frees them to be themselves, to feel that pain, to live their lives as they are, to be themselves in a world that still tries to reject them.
Ayan offers Akk a view of himself he's never had, a side of his own soul he's never examined.
Thua offers Kan a dream, desire, something he wishes for and something he can protect from the very things that hurt him so much.
Akk is the key to Ayan's revenge, the ultimate step in his understanding of what happening and to the future of Suppalo.
Kan is the someone Thua wants to save, someone he wants to help, someone he sees as hurt, someone he can stand besides.

My favorite thing about every single Belmont in Netflix's Castlevania and Nocturne?
Every single initial appearance radiates sad, pathetic energy.
Trevor's bar fight scene was equal parts hilarious and disheartening. This is the Last Belmont? A legendary clan of Vampire Hunters, reduced to a drunken brawler who gets his nuts kicked in so many times?
Julia Belmont? Bodied by hot, gay Dragon Daddy Olrox while her son watches. He brings the direct Belmont line down to two, and traumatizes the kid so hard he has ED—Enchantment Dysfunction until he becomes an adult.
Richter? Yeah! Literally has to have his first true core memory be his mom be fucking owned by the sexiest god damn bloodsucker in history. Little bro's canon event was to watch his mama be crushed.
Juste? Sure his entrance is cool, but then we realize he's also suffering from ED, he sucks at this whole grandfather thing, his wife and bestie killed, and he could never even confront his own blood over the death of his fucking daughter.
I love the fact that every single Belmont makes the worst first impressions. Regardless of sex or gender or age. They just fucking suck when introduced.

thinking about the sully siblings and how Spider was smaller than them physically, but he was still their big brother, and the pure shenanigans it must cause.
like. they're so much bigger than him, but they no doubt still act like they're little compared to their brother at times.
like you want to tell me they don't hide behind him or lean over so they can rest their head on his shoulder or tuck under his arm. tell me they don't lay on top of him like he's their personal pillow.
its not odd to see all his siblings gathering around him, Kiri resting her head on Spi, while Lo'ak holds his arm, Tuk tucked against his waist, while 'tey rests his chin on Spi's head (he loves all the attention, even if he huffs and puffs like any good big brother). they look silly cause the kids have to crouch and twist and bend to use their brother as a leaning post, and he practically disappears under all their blue.
and that includes rough housing, even if it's unintentional. the kids jumping up for a piggyback ride even when they're nearly double if not triple Spider's size.
Tuk wanting to be carried around by her big brother all the time. Kiri accidentally tugging her brother too hard when excited to show him something. the boys teaming up against their brother when playing, forgetting he can hardly handle one of them, let alone both at once.
his siblings getting the rare chance for a sleepover and cuddling around him like a bunch of big cats. they're tucked around him, under him, on top of him, with just enough care to make sure he doesn't suffocate in his sleep.
when they need some loving, Spider has to beckon them down to give their foreheads a kiss or to wrap them up in a proper hug. Spider likes to tuck his siblings head to his chest with both his arms and squeeze them tight.
when he's got to give them a big brother chat, the kids have to be kneeled down so Spider doesn't have to stare up at them (he tends to kneel too, so they're eye to eye, cause when he looks down on them, they tuck their little ears and he feels bad).
like. they're just big babies that need their big brother to take care of them and love them, even if they're giants compared to him.

What if Sally and Eddie did each other’s makeup!? What if they were the best of friends! What if everything was okay 👍

Anyone else completely normal about the scene with Omega and Tech in The Crossing and Omega says 'we're a family, aren't we?' and the writers could have 100 percent could have had Tech say 'technically, we do not fall under the traditional family structure' or something like that and we would have been mildly disappointed but unsurprised but instead they had him acknowledge that they are a family and even saying 'of course' they're a family which just was such a beautiful moment in which he breaks autism stereotypes and is just a beautiful person that I love?
