Firstly, Its fiction and people can do whatever they want in fiction it does not matter.
But also, this just isnt correct? izutsumi is considered an adult in the dungeon meshi world with multiple sources proving this.
Here We have the Race bio for teh tall-men race, here it lists ever bit of information about tall men from where they are most common, to hieghts, notable tall-men characters including our favorite cat girl izutsumi.
Here we see that the age of maturity is specifically listed as 16 years of age. That at 16 years old in dungeon meshi, Tall-men are considered adults. Maybe this isnt good enough proof for you, well thats fine the words "age of maturity" are a bit vague. However we have this bit of dialogue between Laios, Chilchuck, And Marcille
Laios Specifically uses the word "adult" Because thats what it is, At 16 the Tall-Men are Adults. Adults who can Do adult things like Join the army, Go out and live on their own, Look for Love and Romance and sexual relationships. Want more proof of that? i can do that
Here we see that Chilchucks daughters Plan to try and seduce and romance Laios, Wanting to engage in a relationship with this new king. As for the ages? Chilchucks daughters are all between 14-16
Puckpatti is the youngest at 14
Flertom is the middle child at 16
And finally meijack who is also 16, however she must be older than flertom as she is referred to as "big sis".
As for laios? We know he is 26 years old.

As for the Aro/ace part? there is no specific wording for it besides these parts in the succubus arc

Here we see the succubus take the form of izutsumis mother (or her supposed idea of her)
As somebody who is asexual (yes little lore drop about yours truly, i am actually ace myself) this doesnt strike me as her being asexual. That isnt to say you cant headcanon her as ace, thats your right and i fully support that especially being ace myself. But that doesnt make it canon though.
I personally headcanon her as demisexual, but i know that also isnt canon. and i dont want to try and claim it is.

🌼💛Just an update so far, I have a 5th house stellium in my chart this year and life has felt so carefree. Life made me get rid of my old crush and made me focus on myself for a while(Pluto) until just friday I met someone new unexpectedly(Vertex). I havent felt this feeling in almost 3 years its really exhilarating feeling like this and I actually have a good feeling about it. It felt like I was meant to cross paths with him at this point in my life right now because im actually focused on my higher self. I feel that Vertex along with other major planets like the Sun, Mars, Mercury, Pluto, and POF made meeting him feel fated because for one ever since Ive met him ive consequently crossed paths with him multiple times in just the span of 3 days. Its not a deep connection however(5th house) but I hope to beat the odds and make something out of it. So overall, Ive had lots of fun, peace, and new interests in love.
🌼💛So I recently just discovered this, but you can go and find your monthly/daily transit chart and overlap it to your natal or solar return chart to see how your school, career, family, or love life will be. I was wondering why was it that I never got the opportunity to meet someone in matters of romance but i did multiple times in friendships and then I saw that in my transit charts I never had Venus in the 7th house until last month. Venus had always been in like the 11th, the 10th, or the 3rd and school and friends was what was constant in my life. Sometimes even having Venus in the 8th can mean a change in your love life. I even looked all the way through 2022 and 2023 and all 12 months there was not one placement of Venus/Mars/Moon in the 5th or 7th until my transit chart of Febuary 29. Venus conjuncted Mars in the 8th and what happened? I saw the new guy who was exactly my type and I found interest in him. something really interesting i noticed the fandom do from time to time is forget that the harrowhark brain aus are made by harrowhark, and not an objectively accurate alternate universe. i dont mean that theyre incorrect but the universes themselves reveal a lot about harrows perception of an idealized romance:
harrow nova puts gideon in a position where she clearly has the upper hand being the rev daughter, but harrow still places herself in a position where she is not only intent on serving her as a cav but more importantly feeling like she is indebted to her
royal highness/bachelorette pictures gideon as someone revered and out of reach (her heart was beating so hard; she did not know why she was afraid), and in the setting its implied that harrow has to compete for / earn her, even if she refuses to participate.
and BARIstar is an obvious meetcute where even in a universe where they had never known each other prior, harrow still meets gideon and is charmed by her on sight.
like it drives me off a cliff that 1) harrowhark is a heartrotting romantic; she really and truly believes that she cant live in a universe without gideon, and in ADDITION she will make it so that harrow will find gideon anywhere because having a universe with her in it isnt enough - she needs to fucking revolve around her

sitting next to chris during a scary movie when he is being set up with your best friend is wayy more terrifying than the conjuring let me tell you that. anna may be my best friend but i know what she i capable of and lets just say i cannot let her find out what is going on right now. for the first 30 minutes of the movie it was calm, mini jump scares here and there. each time there was a jump scare i would just jump and cover my eyes. but the movie got progressively scarier and thats how i ended up curled up next to chris with my knees up to my chest, hands over my eyes, head on his chest and his right arm on my back.
since matt and nick were sitting on a different couch i had no one else to turn to and i am a fucking pussy when it comes to scary movies. im a romance girl my favourite movies include kissing and heartfelt confessions not people in chair flipping upside down because of a demon taking over their body.
“are you sure your ok to finish this movie, we can turn it off.” chris whispers looking down at me, “uhhh” i say out loud. “its ok i can finish it.” i say looking at him as he chuckles and rubs my right shoulder.

“matt snap out of it.” i hear chris say in an annoyed tone as i walk back out to the living room. “im gonna take off now and hopefully am able to sleep tonight.” i smile. “ok thanks for coming” matt says, i smile at him and wave them off as i walk out.

"The ROs are fully fleshed people (well, I hope) with their own thoughts and feelings" (i would like to clarify ahead of time, idt you should put up w it)
i think that because the ROs are their own people with thoughts and emotions, and that this doesnt revolve around MC because the ROs have their own actions, people start to think that their MC is a loner because they see the other characters super put together (um. as they should, its chapter two??) and this makes people feel bitter/annoyed because they feel like since they control everything abt MC, that MC is a loser because they dont APPEAR to be as composed as the other ROs and characters are, and it pisses them off (which sucks because, how lame can u be? its literally the second chapter. do people break down crying to you at ur second week of friendship? no babe, they dont)
so, in short, you write your OC's so well that when the other people get to compare the ROs to MC, they feel like MC's a loser because they know ALL of MC's feelings, and forget the ROs are their own people that ren't gonna relay all their thoughts and emotions out for MC

hahaha thank you. I realized that I think the root cause of most of the complaints? disappointment? comes from things that people would only know if we weren't in MC's POV. A lot of this is one-sided, because we don't know what the other characters are thinking. All we see is MC's inner turmoil so it makes it seem like MC is the only one struggling, which...I mean I showed that Rowan is going through his own inner struggle when they had their talk, so I did want to show that it's not just MC who feels a bit out of their depth.
The story is always going to feel biased or leaning a certain way because we're in MC's head. MC has no idea what the other people are thinking/feeling (aside from the POVs and even then, I have to sanitize it so I don't spoil the routes).
If people expect a power fantasy or a wish fulfillment story where the characters fawn over MC, please don't haha. I don't like those, and I don't like reading main characters who are perfect. MC is not the center of any of their worlds, and they have a lot of problems that MC has no idea about yet.
Once the romance starts, it'll be different obviously, and they'll start treating MC in a way we haven't seen before, but they're still their own people!
I think the only RO who thinks about MC to an extreme is Seven Lawless....surprise surprise.

i'm gonna rant, and yes this is about certain screener spoilers from s3 that i've seen circling around the fandom. i've already had to unfollow someone because they were being so rude about this. im defending colin bc no one will.
some polin stans don't treat colin as his own character, they just simply see him as a means to pen's happiness or they treat him like an object. may i remind you the reason why the romance genre is a thing is BECAUSE men did that to women??
so even if these rumors are true, that doesn't mean colin HAS to be perfect in order to deserve penelope, because that is not what bridgerton is about. also, in this time period, sex worked differently! believe it or not! so if colin has a few scenes with sex workers to show how he bends to society's expectation for him or for character development or whatever, then so be it. polin will end up together either way.
to say that colin has "red flags" because he has sex with sex workers and has done drugs is so fucking dumb. do you actually hear yourself? WHAT person on earth do you know that hasn't had sex with someone they don't know or done drugs or both. be realistic. multiple times luke has stated that this season deals with how young colin and penelope are and how they are still finding themselves and navigating how to love under that burden of youth and immaturity. to say colin has red flags and PENELOPE DOESNT? bruh. I am a penelope defender to the death but she has made many questionable choices. These "red flags" are simple human actions, largely made off of good intention, and it doesn't make them evil or mean that they're gonna cheat on each other or anything. it just means that they're multi dimensional, and that they're like us in that way. because literally no one would relate to a character that never makes mistakes.
stop treating colin like he's just a way for penelope to get laid. he is a multi dimensional character like penelope is, which is why they work so well together. to say that these fictional characters can't make mistakes is unrealistic and stupid. the fact that i have to state that colin is not an object is not something new in this fandom. please be better.

kisame and itachi are so. like itachi is a weirdo with no friends and kisame is a lonely dude who doesnt believe in friendship and yet they dont talk to each other as coworkers like they do with other akatsuki members, theyre so normal?? with each other i think they see each other as equals in the way only they could
so what happens when you put two bootlicking rule following brainwashed top of the class super soldiers who recently had a nervous breakdown about their role in society together on a team for terrorists? the most tender hand holding of all time. the most tragic vulnerability. the most timid notion of love while they know the other will die before they ever can enjoy it.
and maybe sexual intimacy as a form of self harm because one of them is used to using his strength as a punishing tool and one of them thinks he deserve to be punished while he waits until he dies.
i think at 17 after Itachi learns what romance and sex is he starts analyzing his physical and emotional reaction towards other people. after the confrontation in konoha in the failed kidnap mission kisame wouldve made some joke about running into itachis exes and then itachi says super deadpanned "i used to have a crush on kakashi" and kisame goes well that makes sense youre the two prettiest people in the village and then itachi like every teenage girl thinks too hard about that compliment and devises a strategic plan of action to receive more compliments for no particular reason.
kisame and itachi are truly quality time and acts of service lovers, and their affection for each other grows from them naturally doing things. moments of silence arent weird, itachi will always look out to whatever kisame has pointed out in the horizon, kisame will eat anything itachi cooks even if its burnt since the taste doesnt matter the act does, they both get annoyed at the same things and find the same people stupid which amplifies their "youre the only person i want to be around" feelings
because itachi is a sickly waif hes always cold and kisame doesn't generate as much heat as one would think which means they both like being in warm places and they will spend more time than necessary in hot springs or in the valley during summertime so they can bask in the sun
kisame doesn't like soft things like i said in my other post, but he does like silk and itachi's hair is perfectly silky to run fingers through

*small sigh*
"I would like to extend my condolences to you. Your son... I wish you could have known him as I did. As so many of us did, as you never had the chance to. It is unfortunate, but... What I said, before, when I told you that I believe in you... It was not a lie, sir/ma'am. I do believe, fully, that you are meant to take his place, that you will do incredible things for The Institute."
"To be honest, I'm not sure why I felt the urge to record this message for you, but... Perhaps it's because I feel... that you should be able to hear this, to listen to this tape if ever you feel... inadequate, or... alone. You are neither, sir/ma'am, I assure you."
(pause)
"And I also... I know what it's like. To feel that way."
"Perfection is something that's required in every unit that is created to be a courser. It's something hardwired into us, and so is our aptitude for solitude, and yet... Either there is great fault with my programming, or you were enough to bypass all of it altogether. I've never felt less... Well, perhaps not less perfect, but I've never felt... more..."

"Human, than when I'm with you."
"It is not by my own conscious decision, but all of my defenses seem to lower when you are at my side. I've spoken so outwardly with you, I've... laughed, which is something I never knew I was capable of doing. I've come to despise being alone completely. Or... perhaps not alone, but more... without you. It makes my chest feel tight, and my thoughts wander to your safety whenever I'm not by your side. I'm not... I'm not quite sure why I feel so differently about you than I do anyone else I've met, why you elicit these reactions and thoughts, but I do know that they are enough for me to believe you are... exceptional."
*soft exhale*
"There is no one more capable, or better suited to leading us. No one who has had the influence over me that you do. Not Ayo, not Father, not even the... infuriatingly endearing young Shaun."
*short laugh*
"None of them... and yet you, from the beginning, have surprised me. Your prowess in combat, your amusing commentary, your strange empathy and searing wit... It all took me by surprise. Which isn't easy, I'll have you know. I'm a courser after all."
*muted chuckle*

"I'm a courser... And yet, you've always treated me like an... an equal. Not a machine, or a weapon, not something to fear or to order around without regard for my own preferences, my own... conscience. It's something I never thought that I would find to be a virtue. Not something that's ever mattered to me, and yet, now... Now anyone who's not you, everyone here who disregards me the way they always have... It tries my patience."
(pause)
"I blame you, for that, sir/ma'am. But also I'm... Thankful to you. I'm... glad I've been able to accompany you in your travels, that I've been able to guide you in your new time in this world, I feel privileged that I've been able to witness your transformation, that I've gotten to know you, after all this time, and I... I want you to know that I'm here for you. Now, as you grieve the loss of your son, and in the future, as you take on your new responsibilities as the leader of The Institute. I will be here, by your side. To protect you, to help you, to amuse you, even, if that's what you require from me, since I often seem to do so without realizing it."
