I'm low-key dying over the idea of Leo still being a kid physically. Like, the mental image of his brothers coming face-to-face with a visibly teenaged Leo who is more scar tissue than skin, it's just, ugghhgg. It's one thing to know 'oh he was a kid, he shouldn't have had to deal with this. He shouldn't have had to have been in that position, this is all so fucked up' but it's another thing entirely to see it, y'know?

Anyway, again feel free to ignore the question if it's spoiler territory or completely off the mark or if you don't have the spoons to answer. I mainly just wanted to say that I'm obsessed with your fic and it has me completely unhinged (pos). Was literally sobbing at 3AM while reading it. 10/10. Would recommend.

(also how the fuck do you write Leo so scary and threatening and yet also so adorable and charming and 'wet meow-meow stuck in the rain'. I'm frothing at the mouth wtf. The whiplash of being all 'oh no he's gonna kill- oh he's purring now, he's baby' is so fantastic holy shit)

and yes, Leo did age!! while the idea of Leo being a time capsule of his teenage self but now so warped is DELICIOUS... I love the idea he aged for several reasons. It was one (or maybe the only) way Leo knew time was passing for him-- which adds to the mental strain of knowing he was stuck there. Forever. And the emotional damage it would inflict on his family because it makes it just more transparent and painful how much time had passed. How long they left Leo there. As well as prove the point that time in the Prison Dimension passed at the same rate as it did on Earth.

Plus, I feel like there's another, dark, angsty edge to it that I couldn't resist. I feel like when the Prison Dimension was made, the primary goal was to trap the Krang for eternity. Whether intentional or not, the Mystic Warriors had practically made a place you could age. Where you can get hungry. Where you can get thirsty. Where you have to face all those painful needs of the body you just can't satisfy... But you just couldn't escape it. Ever.

That might make it a bit TOO dark to think about, but ultimately I just loved the idea of the brothers seeing Leo older like them and knowing that they had left him behind for so long. (toot-toot all aboard the angst train)

What are some of your head canons for Adam and Lute?

omg this is a GREAT question anon thank you so much for this mwahahahah 😈 OK ANYWAY BUCKLE UP

- They both have some sort of act they put on but in two entirely different ways, for Lute it’s a cold, untouchable front, and for Adam it’s an overly confident, boastful attitude. When the two really start connecting with each other intimately, those walls slowly start to come down and they kind of go hand in hand. Adam would probably be pretty insecure underneath all of his narcissism due to the fear of being left behind, and Lute would likely let her coldness dissipate in the face of something like that. And after one of those heart-to-hearts Adam probably would say something like “…yeah, but don’t get the wrong idea or anything cuz I still totally rock babe HAH.”

- Adam probably wakes Lute up in the middle of the night to talk about some REALLY stupid bs but Lute will listen regardless of what time it is in admiration of her dumbass boyfriend. <3

- Whenever Adam is trying to make a point about something while just casually rambling on about whatever, sometimes he’ll just stop and say “I mean, c’mon, you agree with me Lute right? RIGHT?”

- Adam uses pet names 24/7 and Lute simply does not care to use them at all but she enjoys it when Adam does, even if his ideas of pet names can get a little odd sometimes. Like wtf is “dangertits” LMAOO

- You can tell Lute is really being vulnerable in front of Adam when she starts calling him by his actual name instead of “Sir.” *cough cough* that one episode 8 scene☹️. As much as Adam doesn’t want to admit it, that shit hits him pretty hard.

- In an AU where these two are living as normal human beings on Earth, Adam brings Lute to every rock festival/concert imaginable and he would absolutely geek out about every single band that came on stage to her. “LUTE ITS FUCKING SLAYER BITCH!!! HOLY SHIT!! THE SLAYER THAT MADE REIGN IN BLOOD, HELLOOO?” Lute enjoys each second of it.

- Talking about what canonically happened for a second (even though I’m still in denial), after Adam’s death, Lute sometimes visits his room, tending to it as she feels morally wrong leaving it alone to be and damaged and decayed by time. Plus, it’s a duty that all of Heaven’s quarters be kept maintained as to keep a good image. One day, Lute accidentally stumbles upon a dusted mixtape Adam had on one of his shelves, with a note attached to it saying, “For my awesome lieutenant after we kick ass at extermination”, and yet, he never got the chance to give it to her.

Worm Arc 3 second half thoughts (bank robbery):

Holy shit child! You covered a bunch of innocent civilians in venomous spiders and basically told them you would fucking kill them if they did anything. How exactly are you planning on becoming a well loved hero after this?

But as far as plans go? Really not that bad. Most of the downsides I see are only if we assume you want to be a hero later. Drop that and it's a pretty good plan.

Also maybe the whole "tell a hero that something is going to happen" bit wasn't the best idea. Do we know for sure if getting the full response of the Wards because of that? No. But it sure seems like it might be related. Taylor and not thinking things through is definitely a combo I am expecting to see more.

The Undersiders absolutely fucked the Wards shit up. Just completely. Suddenly they have bug girl (or I guess I should call her Skitter now) who gives them a little bit of leadership and they just destroy the Wards. God damn. Fucking Aegis is just the worlds biggest chew toy. I love it so much.

And on the note of fucking people up, HOLY SHIT CHILD ROUND 2. WTF did you do to Clockblocker OMG. This kid is going to have nightmares for the rest of his life. You could become a hero and save the world 10 times over and he's still never going to feel comfortable being in the same room as you. God damn. Absolutely brutal. That was amazing and I want to get you some ice cream to celebrate. Embrace your inner villain.

The ways Panacea can use her powers are bonkers. She is super cool. Also from what she said in the interlude I think she really could use some therapy. Or maybe she just needs to join a villain team for a little bit to blow of some steam. Healing people is great but you don't owe the world your entire self Amy. Relax, take a break, have some fun.

Tattletale's power set is probably my absolute favorite though. I also love the shit out of her personality. She is the most fucking amazing character I can not wait to see more.

These thought posts are getting longer each time I do them. I told myself I was gonna just do one post an arc and that they might just be a few sentences each. That didn't last very long.

That or they rely on people too much and have no idea how to fend for themselves. Either way, the droid wasn't entirely wrong
