2. a headcanon you weren't sure about at first but have come to like!

I tend to go back and forth on whether Loki was wanted or not (I compromise with "Farbauti wanted him but usually dies, and he has bad luck with fathers"). I just found the double rejection by a father super angsty and liked it. Double the daddy issues.

But I do think there are very good points to be made about questioning Odin's intent (e.g. Why did he know the baby was Laufey's?), and I really enjoy the Hela and Laufey are Loki's parents and actually wanted him theories. I feel like those theories are the one thing that unites us as a fandom lol.

3. a character that fandom has helped you appreciate

A fic series got me shipping Frostshield despite me only ever watching the first CA movie, so I think that was an impressive feat. It's the fic series "Remember this Cold" by Lise.

OTOH, as a contrarian, I probably would say if I see too much hate for a character I will defend them, as is the case with Sylvie. The realization she is the MCU's adaptation of the Enchantress, and aspects such as that she is not used to her actions having consequences because she was forced to live on Apocalypses are things I'd not have realized or read had I not been a contrarian.
