au where hypno is a demon!
the human xb summons him not to sell his soul but with a business deal, see, demonic deals work that its a soul in exchange for whatever you want, not necessarily your own soul, but a soul. hypno cannot interact with people except his summoner, but xb can run a business where he asks for “harmless” IOUs from people, getting them to sign a piece of paper which is actually a contract for possession of your soul. since xb is a regular human, it would mean nothing, but with hypno’s help it’s magically binding and they enter a mutually beneficial deal where hypno gets a ridiculous amount of souls and xb is given what he wants by hypno.
their partnership starts off solely as a business one, but as time goes on, they grow closer and also begin to care about the business that was just supposed to be a front for them to gain souls, and once xb gets the power and wealth he originally wanted, they focus their efforts on growing Horsehead Farms as a company. they advertise themselves as a “safer” alternative than dealing directly with demons, giving people whatever they want in exchange for an IOU - not a real soul (it is their real soul, but they don’t tell them that). they manage to become a major competitor to all of hell. since it has a human head of the company, people assume it is more trustworthy. xb and hypno engage in all sorts of evil capitalistic ventures
eventually hypno gets kicked out of hell, a feat no-one thought possible, for ruining every other demons’ livelihood, and is reincarnated into a regular human. xb is investigated by officials due to the scammy and dangerous nature of Horsehead Farms, and in an epic car chase where xb tries to escape, he crashes and dies. for all the human lives he’s ruined by stealing souls, he is sent to hell and becomes a demon. they find eachother, and seeing how there’s still one human and one demon overall, they see no reason to not start their business again

Someone could make a really cool post about how autism burnout is affected by chronic illness. And by someone, I mean me.
Just consider it. Autism burnout occurs when an autistic person is overworked by the demand of living--as opposed to occupational burnout, or "alot of things keep happening all at once" burnout. And the demand of living is so much higher when you're chronically ill, disabled, and/or in chronic pain.
Self care now has a barrier of being in physical pain. Keeping your livingspace clean so it's not sensory hell is impossible when you can't even bend down. Being in constant physical pain just wears on the body, mind, and emotions in general, meaning even a "sensory good day" still merits the demand for noise cancelling headphones and sunglasses indoors.
Appointments are sensory hell. Offices are always brightly lit, cold, the chairs are uncomfy, and you have to be there and sit still and mask for so fucking long. Not to mention all the physical touch you have to endure. Oh, and the DEMAND AVOIDANCE of it all. I could kill god over giving his most autistic soldiers a chronic illness, because having a chronic condition is just Demands Central, babey.
And keep in mind this is still my life post-accomodation. I wear headphones and sunglasses, I use a shower chair and cane, I block out recovery days after appointments to help recharge. But there's just So Fucking Much that happens as a baseline to being chronically ill that just doesn't happen irl for everybody. Accommodation doesn't stop the meltdowns. It doesn't fix things.

You just have to grieve sometimes.
Grieve who you used to be.
And understand that the new version of you is just as worthy as the last.
One of the many struggles.

Hey can I get our boi guzma with a s/o who's always sleepy, like, no matter how much sleep they get they're always still tired for like half of the day
Ooh, a request for headcanons? I don't normally do that, but sure!
• You try not to let it bother you, but it's frustrating sometimes, because it's hard to feel motivated or get anything done when you're like this. You remember that you used to have so much more energy and wonder what's wrong with you.
• Guzma tells you there's nothin' wrong with you, anyone's gonna feel like shit if they're surrounded by the same dismal four walls every damn day. Not your fault. He thinks a moment and then grabs your hand, says he's gonna take you somewhere
• You leave Po Town and you ask him where you're going, he says 'the beach.' You thought there wasn't any beach access this side of Ula'ula. The cliffs are too high. He says, for most people, sure, but not for us
• He leads you down a hidden path cut between the hills, covered by the undergrowth. You eventually reach a secluded beach that looks untouched by people, for the most part. You walk for a while in comfortable silence, feeling the crisp breeze ruffling your hair, listening to the lap of the waves, the wingull cries
• Guzma stops to skip a stone and says he likes to come here to clear his head. Then asks how you're doing. You say you're feeling a bit better, which is true. The fresh air and the walk helped a little. You just wish you weren't always like this. It feels dumb that even simple things are so much work for you. Makes you feel kinda worthless.
• He's quiet a while. He says you're not worthless.
"So you got a weakness. Health's not perfect or whatever. Whatever's going on. So what? Doesn't make you useless. You work around it. Figure out what works best for you."
He takes a pokeball from his pocket, looks at it.
"My Golisopod? He bails the second his health dips below half. I thought he'd grow out of it, he never did. But it doesn't matter. So what if he has to bail and take a break during battle? Found a way to work around it. It's part of the strategy now. Now he can wreck face with his First Impression all the time. He's a monster."
He smiles, the pride in his Golisopod clear to see.
"Everyone says bug pokemon are shit, but I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks. I do what I want, and I know bug pokemon are sick. They're used to getting stepped on by everyone else around them, treated like garbage. People kill them just for the crime of daring to exist. But they keep goin' anyway. Nothin' stops them."
He pockets the ball again.
"Anyway . . . you and me, we know what that's like. But we do our own thing anyway. Nothin' else matters. We're not like everyone else, but so what? I know the amazing stuff you can do."
He cups your face with a hand and gently tilts your chin up.
"So don't worry about it, aight, lovebug?"
