i have the skeleton of a potentially banger AU brewing in my brain rn...

basically we are robin happens during the dickbats era and duke is dick's robin. i'll manage to shove batman cassie in there somehow... and ofc batgirl steph. also he's aged down a bit cuz i felt like it

as for damian i'm following his orginal origin, where talia gives him up for adoption. he gets adopted and has no idea who his parents are. maybe talia visits him. idk how he's gonna make himself known to the family... (i'm not fridging his adoptive parents though!!!)

idk how these two things are gonna connect with each other in a meaningful way yet. all i know is i love duke and damian

anyways lots of inchresting stuff to explore... i came up with this last night when i was trying to fall asleep it needs to marinate a bit.

I feel the need to tell you all that yes, as a matter of fact, listening to "Welcome to Youkai Temple" while I'm working on WtST stuff does, indeed, tend to give me motivation.

This is my way of segueing into telling you to go listen to "Welcome to Youkai Temple," from Touhou 13: Ten Desires go go listen to it --

And with that out of the way, I bring to you a snippet from chapter 6 of Pandemonic Paradise.

“That –“ stop, breathe, swallow down the agitated heartbeat shoving his pulse up his throat, “that was Emmet, why did you –”

A claw plucked him from its back, setting him down on an island and cutting off his agitated protests.

“I will do nothing for your cause from here,” its voice ground-screeched-stuttered in his mind. “Arceus’s Chosen fears me.”

Ingo stilled at that, feeling hot anger bubbling in his chest, protectiveness rearing its fanged head, and he tamped it down enough to not snarl at the Legendary.

But, Dragons above, he burned to know what had it done.

“This place is – I can’t traverse this,” he said instead.

“I will move it for you,” it hissed, voice crackling and spitting like a dying fire. “Call me when you wish to leave, and no sooner.”

Giratina opened its mouth, jaws coming unhinged as it shrieked a note and plunged from his sight, leaving him alone, ears ringing, on the piece of stone.

New Eclipse??

Introducing: Harpy Eclipse!! For those of you who don’t know, a harpy is a mythological creature that is said to be a bird cross with a *woman* but we’ll let that rule slide here just for Eclipse’s sake… (eclipse is a boy (also because hes a harpy, he’s based off of an eagle or an owl))

A harpy is a creature that was told to take the things you love most when you’re cursed or smth (I honestly forgor and I’m not gonna look it up)

he’s wearing a black shirt that covers a lot of his body mostly because he got scars all over the place, and his pants are [undecided color] to also cover up scars and shtuff :) His wings will probably be orange and black and red or smth I’ll decide officially when he’s drawn digitally.

DISCLAIMER: As far as I know right now, this is JUST AN ECLIPSE DESIGN!! Not an official au! I might post a drabble about him or something but it’s undecided right now. And please, if you have questions, ask about him!

ranting time for my 100th post

Okay. I need to scream to someone.

As an autistic person myself/someone's who is *most definitely* on the spectrum, I find that I am becoming more self aware, thus becoming aware of other people's autistic/neurodivergent behavior.

Continuing on with that information...

Does anyone else think/agree with me if I were to say that there's a pretty high chance Izuku is autistic, or at least on *some sort* of the neurodivergent spectrum??? Maybe someone else has said it before I don't know but I went on an entire spiral last night as I was trying to come up with ideas for an AU I'm doing😓

But, just listing some of the stuff he does that I personally do that I know is a hyperfixation:

Hyperfixates (most obvious being All Might/Toshinori Yagi [who could also be a special interest not just a hyperfixation], but also the other heroes and even villains)

Constantly trying to be optimistic about things/MASKING.

Immense guilt weighing you down when you think you've done something wrong even if it's something as small as putting something in the wrong spot by accident

Having hundreds of notebooks and other things to keep track of data from hyperfixations/special interests

Collecting objects of hyperfixtion/merchandise and shtuff for hyperfixations

Having a strict schedule/routine to follow (his training schedule *cough cough*)

RAMBLING NON-STOP ABOUT SPECIAL INTERESTS/HYPERFIXATIONS

When we look at Izuku's rooms, there's obviously the All Might special interest. We know all about his notebooks, and (if I'm remembering correctly) there are thirteen of them. While to some it may not seem like much (maybe idk I don't have normal interactions with people), those notebooks are filled to the *brim*. There's also *more* notebooks than that, as there's ones about his classmates, and ones about OFA, and other stuff as well.

When he was training, yes I know All Might made the routine for him, but Izuku took the routine and made it his own and followed it everyday (even though it grew unhealthy).

Izuku is honestly just a kid who doesn't know how to have a normal human interaction unless he is put in charge and is under a sort of stress in his brain. It may not seem stressful to others, but in order to have the "confidence" to be in charge, his brain creates stressors in order to function "correctly" in those situations.

He studies and trains obsessively, and is a people pleaser to all extents.

There's probably more that I could talk about, but *I've* been rambling here for a little while here now😭😭

Hope my ramblings made sense :D

[ PART 2 ] [ PART 3 ] LAWL I couldn't find the first ask that resulted in these two - TLDR the inspirations I mentioned are: Train to Busan, Gakkou Gurashi (School Live!), The Last of Us 2.

I also recommend The Shadows that Run Alongside Our Car - short visual novel, this is also the main inspiration for the Ranchers subplot in the au

Sweet Home (the manhwa NOT the show) - I like the premise of being trapped in an apartment building with other strangers and the formation of different groups, tie in with shtuff about the desires across each character what makes them likely to succumb to the disease. Inspirations of the clashes between the au's factions + the electric spear Tango crafts is the same :]

Will always recommend Charlie Slimecicle's We Spent 100 Days in a Hardcore Minecraft Apocalypse, so much so I added it as a canon spinoff in the au timeline ToT.

I'd love more recommendations! Doesn't have to be zombie apocalypses either wwwww
