i. ‘wym you’re not single and rotting in a basement?’
Wanderer has been playing for hours on end, you could barely keep up with it.
He hasn’t come out of his room for hours and you were starting to get worried about his appetite, and his emotional well being.
Because you were such a good and doting partner, you decided to make Wanderer’s fave dish, and deliver it to his room.
Knocking on his door, he lets out a brief hum, signaling that it was good to come in. Careful not to get to close to the camera, not wanting to reveal yourself to his audience just yet.
Chat noticed the presence of another person in the room, and immediately bombarding Wanderer with questions like “who tf is that???” and “where did they spawn from???”
“Darling you’ve been streaming for 6 hours, take a break and eat first okay? Just call me when you need anything else.” You state, trying to resist giving him a peck on the lips.
Your boyfriend pauses his game, looks at you, then chat, and decides to pull your waist to his level to give you not one peck, but multiple.
Taken aback but not at all surprised from your boyfriend’s sudden show of affection, you lean into the kiss, missing the feel of his lips on yours.
Chat absolutely EXPLODES when they saw that, but Wanderer did not give two shits, and decided to kiss your hand, while deeply looking into your eyes
“Thanks Honey, I’ll take a break and eat this, thank you so much for looking out for me :)”
“No problem darl, just come out when I call you for dinner okay?” “Yes honey” And with that you leave the room, leaving Wanderer with him and his chat
He scans the messages, multiple times he sees “SO DOWN BAD LMAOO” and “did u kidnap them or something to take are of you”
A little irked at chat, he angrily replies “No I am NOT down bad (he is) and NO I did not kidnap them. They’re my partner. Why is that so hard to believe?”
ii. honey face reveal when?
Ever since you’ve made your existence known to Wanderer’s fan base they’ve been calling you Honey, mostly mocking him about the nickname he has for you. (they do find it cute tho fr)
They tell him to bring you into the stream more, saying that they missed your voice and your sweet personality, honestly they don’t give a fuck about him no more they just wanna see you
Wanderer gets annoyed (again, this man is always mad at his chat somehow), and says that he can’t force you to show yourself to them, which his chat respects.
“Also their sweetness and cuteness is for me only, not my fault that you guys are lonely and don’t have a partner. Imagine that, what a massive L” he says to his chat, and they start arguing with him again. (someone save his fan base)
iii. HONEY REVEALLL !!!!!
Seeing that your boyfriend’s fans really liked you, you decided to tell Wanderer that you’re finally comfortable with sharing your face to the internet, which he was really happy with. Because god he really wanted to show of the love of his life to the world, and smash it in their faces that only he could have you.
You suggest to him that you do a cute little baking stream together as your face reveal, and he couldn’t deny the adorable smile on your face while suggesting it to him, so of course he obliged.
While he was setting up the cameras and you were setting up the ingredients you felt really nervous, thoughts of ‘what if they don’t like me?’ plagued your mind, and Wanderer sensed your uneasy demeanor. He came up to you and gave you a kiss that meant ‘don’t be nervous honey, i’ll always be here for you.’
He turns the stream on and immediately people start to come in, surprised at the change of scenery.
‘Wanderer doesn’t live in his basement confirmed?!?!’ a TTS message read, and he gave the camera a glare
Chat immediately noticed you and started chanting “HONEY!” “OH MY GOD ITS HONEY FINALLY”
You gave a meek wave to the camera, still a bit nervous, but with Wanderer’s hand on your waist you knew you had nothing to worry about.
“Hello everyone,,,,I’m y/n, you probably know me as ‘honey’ and i’m…..wanderer’s partner” you say with small smile on your face, eyes turning into small slits
In conclusion, the stream was a success and chat was absolutely smitten with you.

Now that you’ve gotten more comfortable showing yourself on stream, you sometimes played games with Wanderer too, like co-op in this game called Genshin or other games that allowed two person players.
Sometimes, you even started streams yourself whenever you wanted to share something to his audience, or get advice from them when you start a new game.
Wanderer of course sees these streams and he just has the lovey dovey-est smile in the world, you swear you saw his eyes turn into hearts.

would try his best to be normal but HIS ROOMMATES WON’T LET HIM LIVE FJFJAJDK. a lot of people write him as a charismatic girlboss, and i completely understand why, but idk s.coups kinda gives me shy-aroudn-his-crush vibes? to be fair though, his roomies are partially to blame….every time joshua and jeonghan bring you over, jeonghan always calls out “oh seungcheol……..y/n is here!!!!!” you’re kind of like ??? why are you announcing my arrival like that bro?? and joshua snickers as he sees seungcheol poke his head out of his room and greets you with a small smile, his dimples showing on the side of his face you can clearly see peeking out from the door frame. i think he’d definitely get blushy whenever you talk to him, especially when he can see his roomies looking at the two of you interact as well. has trouble making eye contact with you for both those reasons (which you think is cute!!), but refuses to not at least say hello. jeonghan just LIVES for putting cheol on the spot because it’s funny to him lmao. “doesn’t y/nnie looks cute today?” and seungcheol is like WHY. WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS and joshua is texting the groupchat about it IN FRONT OF YOU AND CHEOL with a giddy smile on his face LMAO. as far as interacting with you, i think because his roomies are so embarrassing and because he thinks you’re so cute, he wouldn’t be able to bear doing much besides saying hello every time you’re around. i think he’d be able to muster up the courage to ask you out if he was alone with you at some point. i think he’d be able to feel more comfy being himself if hannie and shua weren’t around to poke fun at him lmao. both of you should expect some teasing from them though!!!

this guy would try to be smooth af every time you come over to hang with jihoon…like you go to the kitchen to get water, and hosh is there making a sandwich or something and he’s like “oh hey y/n, didn’t see you there…” even though he’d lowkey been procrastinating on making his sandwich (which, truthfully, he wasn’t even hungry for), hoping you’d come outside LOL. you respond like. uh. hey………….??? and you get your water and get back to jihoon’s room. hosh counts this as a win – he’s bragging to his roomie after you leave like “they’re totally into me…this acting aloof thing is so working.” (jihoon replies with nothing but a look of disgust). but hoshi can’t keep up the facade forever, methinks. he’s an excitable and energetic person, after all! eventually he would start to act more like himself around you. you come over one day and hosh runs over to you, phone in hand, showing you his screen. “y/n, did you watch the new episode of haikyuu yet???? nishinoya looks so cool!!!” and talk a bunch about it with you. the more comfortable he becomes with you, the more touchy he becomes as well, putting his arm around you and perhaps touching your shoulder now and then. he also gives me the vibes of someone who’d just go for it (again, after clearing it with jihoon). one day you’re leaving and he catches you in the hallway – you’re kinda nervous (ahhh!!!! he’s hot!!!!) and you’re like “uh what’s up soonyoung?” he smiles cheerfully; your curiosity is so cute to him. he takes a deep breath and says: “would you wanna go out sometime without me?” well?????? do you say yes??????? ;)

Unironically i think wonwoo would be the most normal about liking mingyu’s friend lol. every time you come over, he just says hello and asks how you’re doing, casually trying to get to know you. if you and mingyu (and sometimes cheol and vernon) watch a movie in the living room, more often than not wonwoo joins with you guys because he’s “bored” and “has nothing else to do”...but really he just wants to hang with you. i think he’d be really sweet about liking you!! if you mention something (like a drink or snack or something) that you like, he’d definitely get it for you the next time he stumbles upon it at the grocery store. he smiles to himself every time (including in the grocery store) he thinks of you – which, as you start to come around more, is becoming more frequent. mingyu doesn’t actually realize that wonu likes you, but the latter eventually caves in and admits it to his friend. mingyu encourages him to go after you!!! so one night, after a considerable amount of contemplation, wonwoo decides to take the plunge and he calls you. “hey – would you want to get coffee with me next week?”

my bias wrecker <3 lmao jihoonie strikes me as the nervous type. i feel like he’d be slightly annoyed that he can’t relax at home because you’re always there hanging out with soonyoung. he’d leave his room to get coffee and see you sitting on the couch studying with soonie and think like “god damnit WHY ARE THEY HERE!!!! I DON’T HAVE A GOOD OUTFIT ON!!!!!!!!” and immediately clam up when you greet him with a hello. awkward as he is, he kind of avoids you so he doesn’t make an utter fool of himself when you’re around. he doesn’t realize though that it kinda comes off like he hates you because he avoids you…you end up asking soonyoung if you did anything to offend his friend, to which he replies with a hearty laugh that only confuses you more. “wait, why are you laughing?” you ask, and your friend leans forward a bit, beckoning you to do the same. “y/n. my friend jihoon likes you.” he says in a deadpan tone. yours eyes widen, genuinely not expecting that to be the reason as to why he’s so weird around you. within the next few days, a wave of confidence hits you and you eventually approach jihoon about all of this. contrary to the others, you actually end up asking him out, all the while begging him not to be upset with soonie for telling you. he goes through a series of emotions all in that moment, irritation with soonyoung, embarrassment that you’d beat him to the punch of confessing, stress about how long you’ve known, but utmost gratitude to the universe that you return his feelings <3

this man is a bumbling idiot who’s whipped for you LMAO!! you’re friends with wonu – you guys are in the same major, so you often do hw together, study or just hang out and watch movies together. mingyu is always around when you’re over at the apartment, he kind of follows you around like a golden retriever lol. lowkey overstays his welcome HAHAHA; he doesn’t really leave you or wonwoo alone ljdjkfjasdk. wonwoo is kinda like “??? what are you doing ???” when mingyu emerges from his room with his own study materials and plops down on the living room floor next to you. mingyu replies “studying. obviously.” very casually as he looks up at his friend from where you’re both sitting on the floor. wonu is confused as to why mingyu wants to study with you two, but once the older boy realizes that his friend likes you, it’s hard to actually be annoyed with him about it. mingyu always shoots smiles your way and subtly touches your arm when talking to you; he always takes the seat next to you if it’s vacant. wonwoo is lowkey grossed out watching his best friend be such a huge simp, but mingyu does not! care! you are cute and he’s going to spend time with you, deal w/ it wonu!!! would definitely ask you to hang out alone at some point, but not before running it by wonwoo. i think mingyu would be very clear with his intentions from the beginning, which is why he’d want to spend time with you whenever you’re over. his eyes are shining with affection when he asks if you want to go for a walk in the park with him (wonu is asleep peacefully on the floor, you both put a blanket on him LMAOO); will you go with him?

he would be Normal LOL. but he would definitely send a smile your way every time you came over to hang out with junnie. unironically tries to dress fashionably-casual every time you’re over instead of wearing whatever he wore to bed the night before. besides that, i mostly see him keeping to himself; i don’t think he would go out of his way to interact with you a ton like mingyu just because he’s more of a chill guy lol and he doesn’t want to make you uncomfy by giving you a bunch of attention, you know? will definitely offer you tea when he goes to make some though, especially when you’re over studying late with jun. minghao definitely wants to get to know you more, talk to you, and share stories with you, but i think he would really take his time with a situation like this; he sees no reason to rush approaching you. he gets to know you little by little, and lets you get to know him at the same pace too. he would definitely wait for an opportune moment to fall into his lap when it comes to asking you out – i picture you two coming back from the convenience store with snacks for jun (:3c) and talking casually, when suddenly the topic becomes dating. you mention being single, and minghao calmly expresses his feelings for you, asking you out :) tbh i went overboard w this one i could write an entire oneshot about this concept idk someone stop me

this guy is going to tease chan so much in front of you to impress you LOl DJASFKDSfjd. like you and chan are getting ready to go out and seungkwan comes by and is like “oh my god what are you WEARING…….” and teases him to oblivion. and as someone who also enjoys making fun (in a lighthearted way!!) of chan too you find seungkwan to be super funny. kwan swears that your small laugh could send him into cardiac arrest with how cute he finds it – he also lives for making fun of chan too, so he finds this to be a win-win situation for him lmao. when you leave, chan is just like “!!!! stop making fun of me in front of y/n!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TT__TT” and seungkwan is like “lol maybe if you weren’t such a clown, i wouldn’t have to………..” but yeah i also think kwan wants to show you how cool he is lolol. i see him casually humming/singing to himself, showing off his beautiful voice, and you’re like “wow…you have such a nice singing voice!” and he’s like “OMG OMG…im SO embarrassed…YOU HEARD THAT??? Yeah. yeah you see that every time you come over. while he’s hanging out in his room, he secretly agonizes over whether or not to go to the kitchen when you’re around lol. “should i???? can i handle having to look at them????? can i live without water until they go home????” in the beginning, vernon actually did once not leave his room while you were over; it’s not that he doesn’t want to talk to you or be around you, but more like he can’t because otherwise he just becomes an awkward mess!!! and you don’t need to see that!! nope!! seungkwan and chan are a bit puzzled by his behavior around you; vern is a good looking, friendly guy, but for whatever reason when he’s around you he’s just like. so incredibly not that at all, to the point where his friends wonder who the heck that guy is standing in front of you and stuttering because it’s certainly not vernon!! i think the way you’d be able to see more of his true personality/self is if he isn’t talking to you or if he doesn’t know you’re around. when he’s having a funny conversation with kwan (“i’m not a comedian.” “no one said you were…………”), you giggle a little at the exchange, finding his teasing of seungkwan to be quite cute. i think he’s another one where you’d have to take the reins and approach him more; besides the fact that you make him nervous, he feels kind of weird for liking his roomie’s friend. but rest assured, if you say something, he’d definitely want to go out with you :)

this fucking GUY………….my ANNOYING bias…….(/j, /lh, im in love w him). if you’re over at the apartment to hang out with seungkwan and/or vernon, he’s going to make Every Single Excuse to drop by and see you lol. hanging out in vernon’s room? dino will come in like every 20 mins and say like “hyung, i’m making noodles do you want some? what about you, y/n?” watching tv with seungkwan? chan announces that “i’m going to get my laundry downstairs. if you need me, call me.” and then he’d give you a little wave or smile. honestly, you’re kind of in awe of how close the three of them seem to be, and you think it’s cool how they seem to communicate with each other well like that! unbeknownst to you though, vernon and seungkwan find it so annoying LMAOOO…..seungkwan is like “why do you only offer to make us food when y/n’s here -____-” and “ why do you keep interrupting us, we’re trying to watch attorney woo!!! get out!!!! -____-” vernon is less…direct about it, he finds it more hilarious than annoying. when you’re gone, he’ll tell chan stuff like “dude, you don’t have to tell us every time you step out…” and ask why chan gets so weird every time you come over. both older boys can tell their roomie is down horrendous for you, but chan is shameless lol. he definitely asks vern and kwan if you ever talk about him to which they both reply “god no shut up!!! -__-” eventually he admits to them that he likes you (“ok guys…i gotta be honest…i like y/n idk….”) and both of them are just like ?? why did you have to announce this, it’s SO obvious….and chan is just ?????????? IT IS??????? anyway, when he feels it’s time, he’s not going to do anything until he knows that vernon and kwan are 100% ok with him approaching you romantically. (seungkwan: you’ve been throwing yourself at them constantly, why do you need our permission now?????) once they express they’re comfy, he would probably waste no time lol. next time you come over, he offers to walk you to your car and as you’re in the parking lot, he asks you out right there :)))) i’d say yes, would you???

This is a DARK series!!! Please proceed with abundant caution.
After a few hours of rummaging and searching through every drawer, cabinet, and closet you came across on the first floor, you still hadn’t even made it upstairs. But there really wasn’t much to find and you had yet to come across anything interesting. The closest you got was a photo album he kept on a shelf in the living room. You flipped through it quickly, but didn’t really take the time to actually look through it before you set it back down, making a mental note to come back to it later. You didn’t know what you were looking for, if anything at all, but you wanted to keep at it.
It was around noon when you wandered back into the kitchen. Your tummy was rumbling and you remembered seeing a jar of peanut butter in the pantry. You put together a simple peanut butter sandwich and filled up the glass of water you had used previously. Deciding to go back out to the patio, you ate peacefully outside.
As you sat out there, you finally felt calm enough to really think.
You were here. At Bucky’s house. Alone for the time being. You decided to ignore for the moment what happened earlier in the morning, and chose to focus more on the events of last night.. And really everything that had happened before then.
You knew you had to accept that there really wasn’t a way out of this. And you also had to accept that there was a part of you, a bigger part than you’d like to admit, that was almost.. okay with that.
You knew that Bucky could be a bad guy. Mean and rough and selfish. But you also knew he could be good. Loving and caring and attentive. The two opposing sides of him had you reeling half the time, yet despite it all, you still longed for him. And he was right - though you wished to god he wasn’t. Every attempt you made to put more distance between you two, the stronger the pull you had to him became. Even here, now, a part of you was hoping he’d be back soon…
Really, you wanted him to apologize. His behavior earlier was completely uncalled for and unjustified. You didn’t deserve to be treated and left like that. And it honestly hurt your feelings.
You mulled over these thoughts and feelings as you picked at your sandwich. You inhaled a deep breath and took a second to just look around. Though you were essentially stranded here, it wasn’t too horrible a place to be. Bucky obviously took good care of the place and the idea of moving in one day was starting to sound less and less terrible. You could manage. The main concern really was the personal issues you had with Bucky. The way he could make you feel so.. Small. Weak. Dependent. You hated it. You had never needed anyone before. And the fact that you were starting to feel as if.. as if maybe it was true, that you did need him, it truly scared you.
Bucky normally seemed to care when you were sad or upset - like he just wanted to take care of you and make you feel better.. safer. But this morning, he was completely different. He obviously didn’t respond well to any thoughts of you leaving him. But his fear was no justification for being so mean. And you didn’t think you could handle it from him. It hurt too much. More than any other hurt you’d been subjected to in your life , and you had been subjected to quite a bit. But from him, it felt so much worse and hurt so much deeper.
But he did say you were his. Forever. And it seemed certain that he meant it. So say you did need him. At least he would always be there. He promised he would. He said he loved you. As scary as it was, you knew you loved him, too. In spite of everything.
You loved him.
You knew you couldn’t deny it any longer, but that didn’t mean you were going to allow yourself to be complacent in this relationship.
You bit your lip as you sat thinking, playing with the half of the sandwich in your hands. You weren’t sure how long you sat out there, but when you stood to go back inside, you felt a little more sure of yourself and like you had a better grip on things. You felt more confident than you had before, but truthfully, that wasn’t really saying much. Nevertheless, though, you thought that maybe this would be okay. This would work out eventually. You just needed to talk to Bucky now. Set some boundaries. If you were going to stop fighting this, to really be together, you had to make some things clear. With a renewed sense of clarity, you went back inside to continue looking around.
It was nearing 5 o'clock and as bored as you were, you just kept wandering the house, trying to ignore the anxiousness you were feeling at the fact that Bucky still hadn’t come back. This morning had set you on edge, and he was obviously upset, but you didn’t think he would be gone all day. Then again, you had said you wanted some alone time. Maybe he was actually listening to you. You wanted to believe that, but something was telling you that wasn’t entirely true.
You were upstairs when you heard the front door open. A wave of relief came over you when you nearly ran to the balcony of the stairs and saw it was Bucky. That was short lived, though, as he dropped some boxes in the living room and completely ignored you.
You walked down the stairs, taking one step at a time as he went back outside. You got to the door and as you passed the boxes, stopped. They were filled with a bunch of your personal knick knacks. You stood in front of the box, perplexed, before Bucky walked back in and set down more boxes next to the others.
“Wh-what is all this?” you asked, feeling like you were missing something. He didn’t answer you, though, just walked back outside. You took a sharp breath and followed him outside. “Bucky,” you called his name to no response yet again.
When you actually went outside the sight of a small uhaul stunned you. Where was your car? And why was Bucky unloading boxes of your belongings from a fucking UHaul? More importantly, was he really still ignoring you?
As you stood there looking beyond confused, you saw your car approaching up the driveway. You squinted trying to see who the hell was behind the wheel and weren’t entirely shocked to see it was Steve. He pulled up next to the truck and parked.
“You left before me, where the fuck did you go?” Bucky said to him as he approached.
“I didn’t go anywhere, I just wasn’t driving 90 miles an hour in that piece of shit car,”
“Hey,” you said, offended. Bucky didn’t acknowledge you, but Steve’s gaze shot to you. His eyes drank you in, the sundress you were wearing was beyond flattering on your figure and your cleavage was well on display in the sweetheart neckline.
“Hey yourself, honey,” Steve said almost flirtatiously, making you roll your eyes at him as he continued eyeing you, his gaze lingering where it shouldn’t. Especially not with Bucky right next to him. “That’s a pretty dress, really hugs those curves nicely, doesn’t it,”
You were shocked at his braiseness and instinctively covered your arms in front of you. You opened your mouth to tell him something, but Bucky stepped in front of you, blocking you from Steve’s view. “Grab the rest of the boxes then get this truck out of here,” Bucky ordered as Steve slowly walked backwards to the back of the UHaul, eyes never leaving you. You scowled at him as he went, a smile etched on his face.
“Go inside and start unpacking,” Bucky said to you without turning around.
“No. No, w-we need to talk. Now,” you said angrily, your full attention now back on him.
“Go inside,” he nearly growled, still with his back to you. You stood firm in your spot, refusing to move. You had wanted to talk about this morning first, but from the looks of things, this moving situation seemed more pressing at the moment.
“Why did you bring so much of my stuff, Bucky? I-I never agreed to moving in here,” you paused when Steve walked past you holding your shoe rack in one hand and a box filled with accessories ranging from hats, scarves, purses, and jewelry in the other. “What the fuck?” You moved to stand in front of him, you needed to talk to him and him keeping his back to you was upsetting you more.
“I thought you were just bringing a few of my things, why are there so many boxes? What, did you just load up my entire house? You didn’t even ask me, Bucky! You can’t just move someone into your home because you want to, are you insane?”
Still no response.
“You can’t just take over everything, Bucky. I have a life, ya know? Responsibilities. I’m not just gonna stay out here and play house with you. Especially when you’re ignoring me and everything I’m saying to you. You keep saying that I ‘just don’t get it’, but you’re the one who obviously isn’t seeing things clearly. You don’t get it. You don’t get me, and you’re not even trying to understand where I’m coming from, either.” You gave him a moment to respond, but he didn’t.
“Look if you’re not gonna talk to me, if you can’t even look at me, I’m not staying here a second longer,” you said before storming back inside to get your keys from Steve.
You didn’t look back at Bucky as you went, figuring he was just gonna act like nothing happened while he continued moving your things from the back of the UHaul.
You entered the house and found Steve lounging on the sofa in the living room.
“Oh good, you done fighting out there?” he said as he watched you walk up to him.
“Give me my keys,” you demanded.
“Mmm, I’m gonna say no.”
“Give. me. my. Keys.” you repeated, enunciating each word as you spoke.
“Are you pissed about the furniture, is that it? He just figured, he’s already got everything here, no point in bringing all yours.”
“What? No. I mean- wait, what? What did you do with my furniture?”
“Don’t worry about it. We got all the important and sentimental stuff for you. You’re welcome, by the way.”
“I’m sorry, do you expect me to thank you for helping him pack up my home without me having any say in the matter?”
He just smirked as he looked up at you from where he sat.
“Well, you don’t have to say it in words, I’m sure you can show me your gratitude some other way,” he said as he spread his thighs wider, seemingly inviting you in.
“Are you fucking insane?” you asked genuinely before he reached out and pulled your hand, bringing you closer to him. His touch was gentle and you could tell he was just playing with you, trying to ruffle your feathers. You weren’t sure why you weren’t as annoyed as you’d usually be, maybe Steve was growing on you, but you didn’t pull away as he pulled you in. In fact, you saw the lanyard of your keys sticking out from his jacket pocket and resisted the urge to roll your eyes at his idiocy. Instead you stepped in closer to him and smiled a tight lipped smile before leaning down, coming face to face with him.
“You’re being an asshole, and so is your friend out there. So, no. I’m not gonna say thank you. I’m just gonna go,” you said before quickly pulling your keys from him and turning to leave. You heard him chuckle, but ignored it. You didn’t have anything with you, and you were barefoot, but you didn’t care. Your phone was in your car, so at least you’d have that.
As you approached the threshold of the door, you were forced to backup as Bucky entered with the last of your things. He set them down, grabbed your keys from your hand and continued past you. You stood there a second, eyebrows furrowed in annoyance and confusion, and a tiny bit of hurt.
Bucky threw a different set of keys to Steve, which he caught easily. “Get back to the shop, the paperwork should be good to go. Have Peter take the truck back when you get there and then fill everyone else in on the new operations.”
“You gonna be there later?”
“I’ll call you.”
Steve got up and passed you on his way out, turning to look down at before he left. “Ya know, you’re starting to grow on me, sugar. Sure I’ll be seeing you around,” he looked back to Bucky, nodding his head at him, “Later, Buck,” And with that, he was gone, the door shutting behind him.
You turned expecting to see Bucky, but he apparently still didn’t want to deal with you as he was gone. You tried not to pout as you felt that same sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach that had been bugging you since the morning.
You walked into the kitchen and found him at the fridge.
“I’m not moving in with you.”
Bucky exhaled, clearly annoyed, as he shut the door to the fridge.
“You can’t just make life changing decisions for me and expect me to just go with it.”
“I told you,” he said as he turned on you, finally acknowledging your presence. “You don’t get to make the decisions anymore. I know what’s best for you. For us. End of discussion.”
“End of discussion? That’s it, huh? Just gonna go back to ignoring me, then?”
He didn’t respond as you stared at him, anger and hurt running through you and showing clearly in your eyes.
“Right,” you scoffed before you went back to the living room.
A few minutes later, Bucky emerged from the kitchen. You thought maybe he was going to talk to you, say something. Anything. But he didn’t. He just went upstairs, bringing a couple boxes of your stuff with him.
You were beyond annoyed. And you needed to talk to him. But what was the point when he just kept ignoring you? It felt like if you tried, it would lead to nowhere. But still, you had to. You couldn’t leave things like this for much longer. It was really getting to you. Huffing, you got up and followed him upstairs.
If anything, this was starting to feel like a punishment. Like ignoring you was his way of getting back at you for trying to leave, for saying that you needed alone time. You entered the room, hating that you were feeling more and more desperate for his attention.
“This isn’t fair,” was all you said, voice quite as he set down one of the boxes.
“I was trying to be honest with you. Trying to talk to you and work things out and this is how you react? You know, I am being more than reasonable and understanding given the circumstances, I’m giving you another shot, after everything. After all you did. And this - this is how you treat me?” You waited for him to respond. Or even just to turn to you. He didn’t.
“Goddamn it, Bucky, stop ignoring me!” you shouted. “Please,” you said, voice breaking as you stared at him, eyes pleading. You didn’t know what came over you, but you weren’t used to being ignored by him and his lack of care was making you feel terribly. You hadn’t felt this badly at his hands since the night he assaulted you. You had just started to believe he wouldn’t treat you like that again. Yet, here he was.
He walked up to you and held your face in his hands, looking down at you with pity.
“You did this to yourself. You need to learn your lesson, and I’m gonna make sure you do,” you whimpered slightly as he ran his thumb along your cheek, leaning his head down closer to you. “Don’t let those tears fall just yet, sweetheart. Save ‘em for when I’m fucking the last bits of stubborness out of you,” he said in your ear before giving your jaw a squeeze and letting you go entirely, walking toward the door. “I’ll be back later.”
“What,” you asked, sounding more upset than you would have liked to let on, despite knowing he must have felt it anyway.
“You’ve been gone all day. Where are you going?”
He kept walking, not answering you.
You followed behind him like a puppy running after their owner, but he paid you no mind. If you had seen the smirk on his face, no doubt you would have snapped out of your pathetic stupor, but you didn’t as he kept on toward the door.
“Bucky, please,”
Your anxiety almost had him turning around to comfort you on instinct, but he fought the urge to do so. He was set on making you see that it wasn’t just him. He wasn’t crazy, it was the connection between you. If you were denied your soulmate’s comfort the way you had denied him, you would act like he was. Just as needy, just as desperate. Willing to do anything for it. Not that he’d let you get that desperate. He knew you’d crack sooner rather than later. He could feel it. Because it wasn’t just him who needed you, you needed him in return.
He had to be sure you would see that. He had to be sure you realized it. And until he was sure, he’d be damned if he broke first. He could keep this up. To prove his point, he had to. And it wouldn’t take much longer.
“Wha-..what time are you gonna be back?”
“Late,” he said as he walked out the door. You stood in the living room feeling stupid for being so sad. And at the roar of his bike coming to life outside, you felt a tear slip down before you quickly brushed it away. You felt so unlike yourself.
You were crying over him leaving, which, granted, you had done before, but this time was different. You felt so much more pathetic. And he hadn’t even apologized. You should be angry with him. A part of you was, but moreso, you just wanted him to hold you and tell you he was sorry and that everything would be okay and he’d never treat you like that again. Because you were important and you deserved better than that and he loved you. Because he did love you. So why the hell wasn’t he acting like it. You went back upstairs and decided to just get ready for bed. You removed your dress and changed into pjs and did your nighttime routine.
You went back downstairs and got yourself more water, not bothering with food as you didn’t have much of an appetite at the moment. You wandered to the living room and picked up the photo album you had found earlier. You took a seat on the couch, which was a lot more comfortable than it looked, and started flipping through the photos on the pages. As you went through them, you essentially watched Bucky grow up through the pictures. He was a really cute baby. And his mother and sisters were gorgeous. Good genes, evidently. You didn’t see any photos of his father, but you didn’t really expect to.
A photo of him and Steve when they were kids made you laugh out loud before making you emotional. They looked so innocent. They were so innocent. And life had been so cruel to the both of them. It was easy to be angry at them. There was no excuse for why they were both such assholes so much of the time, but at the very least you could understand why they were as hardened as they were. Bucky, moreso. They weren’t always the jerks they are most of the time now. And maybe, one day, you’d get to see them as they were before. Before they let the world turn them so harsh. Maybe one day their facades would finally drop for good. You had seen Bucky be so gentle and caring and loving, you just wished he could stay that way instead of reverting back to being so cold and bitter and mean. Maybe if they could stop being so afraid of getting hurt again. If they could allow themselves to be human, for god’s sake, to feel their feelings, they could get that part of themselves back.
You weren’t saying you were Steve’s biggest fan or anything, but from the stories Bucky had told you, you knew he wasn’t all bad. He couldn’t be.
Teenage Bucky seemed to be quite the charmer from the looks of him in those photos. Him before dances, him with girlfriends, at prom, then graduation. Then there seemed to be a gap of time missing. You could easily guess as to why that was. In the photos following his teen years, he seemed to be in them a lot less. You saw pictures of Nat and Sam and Steve. Some of the guys you recognized from the bar and the diner, but had yet to meet. It seemed to you that Bucky was the guy behind the camera for these photos as he was not in the shot for any of them. It was pictures of birthday parties, halloweens, apparent vacations, and some just around the city and at work. Finally you came across one of just him. It was an obvious candid, he must have had no clue he was being photographed. It was outside of a garage, he was shirtless, metal arm on full display as he worked on a bike. And he looked so beautiful. Focused and attentive on his work. You almost wanted to take it and keep it for yourself before you quickly turned the page, shaking the thought along with it.
The last photo, and most recent, was the opening of the shop they had in town. Everyone was in it and you admired the looks of happiness on their faces. They looked, truly, like family. And Bucky’s brilliant smile was what you seemed to focus on as you examined the picture. Him and Steve were in the middle of the group as they all huddled in for the photo, it was touching when you didn’t think about the crimes they were surely committing and running out of said shop.
With a sigh, you put the album back where you found it before making your way back upstairs to Bucky’s room. Was it your room now, too? You thought briefly.
Suddenly, you paused your ascension up the stairs and remembered your phone. You quickly turned around and went back down, hoping that Bucky had left your keys somewhere. You were delighted to find them on the counter in the kitchen and ran outside to your car.
The thought of leaving briefly floated through your mind but, you didn’t really want to. Instead, you opened your car and found your phone right where you had left it, still on the charging cable.
The lack of notifications was a little disappointing, but in all actually, there were more than you normally received. A few texts and a missed call from Eva, a text from your sister, and a bunch of email and app notifications for nothing important.
After locking your car back up, you went inside and upstairs. You responded to Eva’s texts asking you if you wanted to hang out earlier in the day with an apology about having lost your phone. You asked her if she’d be up for a movie night on Saturday instead, even though you had no clue if that’d even be possible for you at the moment.
Your sister had sent you a video from TikTok and you were grateful for the short reprieve you found in it. It was your type of humor exactly and you didn’t know how badly you needed a genuine laugh until it came to you.
You went through your emails, half of them spam, and the other half trivial and unimportant.
You then put on some music and started unpacking the boxes Bucky had brought up. What was the use in fighting when he had already moved all of your stuff for you. You were sure there was use, somewhere in you, you just couldn’t find it.
You opened the closet and found it nearly empty. It was huge and there was so much space. Bucky obviously didn’t have much in the way of clothing. You took advantage of the room and hung up all the clothes you had that needed to be hung. And even after you did that, the closet was still nowhere near full. You moved onto the box filled with random knick knacks but didn’t really feel comfortable taking them out. Instead you put the box back on the floor and focused on getting the rest of your toiletries and makeup and bathroom things unpacked.
You were getting tired, but you wanted to stay up and wait for Bucky to get back. Your resolve was quickly crumbling, though, with each yawn that slipped from you. Your eyes were bleary as you checked the time and you decided to give up and go to sleep. You were thankful you weren’t on the schedule for tomorrow so you’d have at least another day to figure out your new situation.
You laid down on the bed but quickly got up, remembering the scene from this morning. You cringed internally then grabbed the comforter and removed the sheets from the bed. You remembered seeing the laundry machine downstairs and went to start a load. Feeling slightly grateful that you had a reason to stay up a little longer.
The sheets washed quickly and dried even quicker. The comforter took longer, but you didn’t mind. As you made the bed and rechecked the time, you were on the verge of passing out. It was nearing 10pm and you didn’t know how much longer Bucky would be gone for, but you couldn’t stay up much longer, either. And the sheets were so soft, the comforter so warm and inviting. You slipped under the covers and didn’t even turn off your music as you succumbed to sleep.
You didn’t know how much time had passed, but the sound of a motorcycle woke you up. You didn’t actually get up, though. You just laid there, debating on what you should do. A few minutes later, you heard the front door open and listened as Bucky came upstairs. You pretended to be sleeping as he came in the room, wanting to see what he was gonna do.
The sound of his clothes coming off was what you heard first before he went to his dresser and grabbed out what you assumed were another pair of sweats. He went into the bathroom and came out a while later. You were anticipating him getting into his bed, but he didn’t. Instead, you heard him leave the room completely. You laid there still as you waited for him to come back. But after too long passed, you realized he wasn’t going to.
You wrapped your arms around yourself as you tried to relax and tell yourself to just go back to sleep. But you couldn’t. You were about to lose your mind. You needed him. You needed Bucky. And you knew that’s what he wanted all along, but you didn’t care that he was forcing you into the realization. Because no matter what, he was right and you couldn’t deny it anymore. You just needed him. So you crawled out of the bed, and set on your way to get him.

Idea for a little Cucuhalo fic/au. Ok hear me out:
Roommates/Office au
So, I haven't fully fleshed out the details yet, but Cucurucho as a rich boss that owns some kind of company and Bad is an employee that just moved from somewhere and started working in his company not too long ago. They try to get along... well enough in the office, albeit there's some tension and passive aggression between them.
Their co-workers love to gossip about them because it looks like there's something going on between the two, but it's all speculation for them. What they don't know is Bad and Cucurucho are actually secretly roommates, and they "hate" each other even more outside of the office.
Cucurucho has a cat that Bad wasn't initially fond of named Emotional Support (they're actually raising that cat like it's their baby lols) because Bad is more a dog person, but Cucurucho insisted on getting a cat as a pet. That's only one of their roommate quarrels. Most of the time they are extremely passive aggressive, and do things like, idk, not washing the other person's dishes lmao.
Despite how much they claim to hate each other, neither want to leave because "it's easier to share rent" or "no one would take care of Emotional Support when the other person is busy", some kind of excuse like that. But really, it's because they do enjoy having each other around, and sometimes, they have nice dinners and movie nights together. Then they fall asleep on their couch and wake up entangled, but neither wants to admit they were literally cuddling the night before. They are so attached to each other, but no one wants to say it out loud.
Basically this au is me wanting Cucuhalo office and roommate drama with a dash of sexual tension and long-term denial, romantic comedy sitcom style.

I love them living together and making up excuses to do so....
"Its expensive to live alone" "Emotional support is already so attached to him itd be mean to take her away from him" "We bought the furniture in a way that would make it weird for us to move out" (bad bought both the beds, or the one bed hayoooo, cucurucho bought like 20% of the spices and condiments, they dont feel like splitting up the furniture is what im getting at) "Theres no available housing in any areas id want to live in" etc. etc. any excuse to stay together even though to everyone else it seems like theyre at eachothers throats all the time!!
I think the way the workers would find out is a couple of them getting invited over. Like after a night out, one of them cant find a ride home so bad (resident guy who doesnt drink) offers to let them sleep on his couch for the night, and the next morning they wake up to arguing. They sit up on the couch and over the back of it who should they see in the kitchen together but CUCURUCHO and BADBOYHALO who are arguing because bad didnt ask before inviting said coworker over!! They kiss and make up (either metaphorically or literally) and cucurucho lets it go for now and sneaks off back to his (possibly their) room so he isnt caught and has bad send the coworker out as soon as they wake up. The coworker doesnt say anything about seeing cucurucho right then... but later on cucurucho and bad hear a lot of whispering that gets suddenly quiet when they walk by, and then it continues when they walk past.... more so than usual!!! And they dont think too much of it, but then someone comes up to bad's desk one day or approaches him in the hallway or by the water cooler and goes "so.. you and cucurucho, huh??"
(and then they realize bad's not the one to approach because hes very aloof and wouldnt pick up on the implications that the coworker would be dropping.. but theyre too afraid to go ask cucurucho about it for fear of getting chainsaw'd LMAO)
SHOUT OUT TO THE "ONLY ONE BED" TROPE, WE COULD DO SO MUCH WITH IT!!!

i still like the picture itself and I enjoyed coloring it (sometimes i hate coloring, sometimes it's hypnotic, i can't explain it)

heyo, enchant over here! i’m a writer, who writes original stuff and fanfics! it’s been a long while since my previous re-intro, and i decided for a new one. just the same basics, just a new post.^^
i’m a hybrid sort of writeblr and a semi-fandom blog. however, i tag appropiately as much as possible. whether it’s salty or positive. i try writing as much as i can! yet i also take breaks when necessary. my motto in general about storytelling is: write what you want to read. and i write any concept stuck in my mind.
my main fandoms are adaptations of marvel comics and dc comics. a big fan of characters, who don’t get enough appreciation (whether from fandom or canon). i love canon divergence and AUs bc it gives me more freedom. i enjoy them yet i’m also aware of their problems especially with the former.
top-tier tropes to me are: chaotic found family, enemies to friends to lovers, subverted expectations, reluctant allies to best friends to lovers, exhausted™ protagonists, strong friendships, find recovery after all the pain, morally grey characters, and self-discovery.^^

Blasted Scorn: A group of pirates somewhat succeed in their latest quest, only for knights to be their accidental stowaways. They’re assigned to search for a missing princess, who’s been captured. Dread Pirate Titanrin strikes a deal with them in exchange for valuables. Along the way and dozens of broken bones, this team contemplates on whether this was their worst decision or not.
True Devotion that Remains Constant: A ballet dancer encounters difficulties while trying to find her own path. A painter is only trying to thrive after escaping a difficult situation. An awkward circumstance leads them to meet in college, where they slowly learn about each other.
Lines of A Script to Ignore: An unemployed graduate struggles on getting a job as she adjusts from getting back from abroad. A scriptwriter slash theatre actor seeks to share her story while dealing with setbacks. They reconnect as they see each other, forming a bargain that’ll provide help for both of them.

Just wondering if you can please explain to me how it's okay to describe the relationship between Crowley and Aziraphale as a "love story" even though those details are never explicitly stated or seen and are therefore subtext... but you can't accept that there is subtextual evidence in Dean's character development that implied his attraction to both genders as the story continued to develop. Yes, there are canonical instances where Dean stated he "doesn't swing that way", but they also occurred in the early seasons... before Purgatory, before his summer of love and group sex with Crowley. I'm okay with believing people when they state their sexuality... but are you okay with them changing their minds?
Is this actually about canon vs fanon? Or is it just twisting a narrative to suit how much you hate a certain ship?
I could be wrong, but I don't think *I've* described Aziraphale and Crowley as a canon love story? I've reblogged NEIL GAIMAN describing it as such. Furthermore, he never said that love was sexual, and neither have I. I enjoy Aziraphale and Crowley as a representation of queerplatonic love.
But that has nothing to do with what you're actually here to complain about.
Yes, it is actually about canon versus fanon.
In fact, destiel used to be my OTP until hellers became SO GODDAMN INSUFFERABLE in insisting their fanon is canon and attacking people over it. It's not the ship I hate, it's hellers who ruined it for me. Between the way so much destiel fiction is AU and completely changes character dynamics I like; and how hellers call other actual real life queer people homophobic, whilst wielding their own implicit biases to insist certain things MUST BE interpreted as queer NO MATTER WHAT THE CHARACTER AND THE ACTOR AND THE PEOPLE THAT WROTE DEAN SAY.
It's one thing to appreciate things you think are implied subtextual clues or things you personally vibe with and have a HEADCANON about it, but it's another thing to see Dean say on screen that he doesn't swing that way and INSIST he really does! Canon is what happens on screen. You can feel that there's implications all over the place, but that isn't the text. It's not canon.
Even his "summer of love" with Crowley does not make Dean canonically gay or bi. Lmao. First of all, that phrase shouldn't be taken seriously in the context of the show, wherein Sam is still hurt/jealous and jibing Dean about his time as a demon. We also can't take Crowley's comment about them sharing triplets, when Dean is a demon, to mean anything happened between them. He said they did "extraordinary things to triplets." That does not a homosexual encounter make.
Do you also take all the suggestive phrases about Sam and Dean to mean they're canonically incestuous? Cuz I don't, and I ship them!!
Dean is straight. He's said so in his own words many times. He's only been shown and spoken about sleeping with women.
And I'm too tired to search for late seasons dialogue now, but here's the fucking screenshot from 10.07:

Akashi would be way to extraordinary for Saiki and hes friends with Kokomi. I also think it would be really funny if Saiki used telapathy and heard Bokushi and Oreshi conversing in his head. He would be flabbergasted imo
I also want to see the showdown between Kokomi "gods favourite" Teruhashi and Akashi "I am absolute" seijuro. Akashi would definitely be the perfect pretty boy of the school. He would have a version of the Kokomins as well lmao.
People(aka Nendo) would mistake Akashi for Saiki and Saiki would be pissed lmfao.

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?
I already made a post compiling everything I hated about fanon akashi but Ill say it again.
People make him out to be some psycho who is obsessed with kuroko and hates everybody else. They give him no other personality other than scissors, tetsuya and being absolute as if he isnt so so much more than that.
Oreshi doesnt even exist in the heads of people who do this. But it has gotten much better over the years and most of the fandom has finally gotten a good grasp of hos character so thats nice.
13. What's an emoji, an emoticon and/or any symbol that reminds you of this character or you think the character would use a lot?
This came at the perfect time cause Im actually working on a GoM as emoticons thingy(maybe a few other characters) so I might as well share my akashi emoticons. You can guess who is who.

I have a lot of akashi ships(by that I mean a lot) I have to go with MayuAka, NijiAka, MibuAka, and MidoAka(I cant pick one Im sorry it fluctuates)

AkaFuri tbh I see them more as best friends(Furi giving Akashi a taste of normalacy)
17. What's a ship for this character you don't hate but it's not your favorite that you're fine with?
Romantic AkaKuro. I just feel like their relationship is so much more than romance. You cant describe their relationship with the word romance. I see them more as queer platonic partners.
18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?
Again cant decide between Nijimura, Mayuzumi and Mibuchi so Ill explain my thoughts on all.
Nijimura was one of the only people who treated akashi as what he truly was, a child. He took him out for snacks, guided him actually cared for him you know all the reasons why niji is the best senpai. And Akashi really did look up to him and enjoyed being vice captain under him.
Reo is another person who treats Akashi(both of them) with so much kindness and love. Even If Mibuchi didnt(probably) like akashi romantically he would still care about him just as much. Like Akashi is his baby he loves him so much. And Akashi loves Reo just as much which is obvious given how he comforted him for the foul during the RakuSei match.
MayuAka is defo one of my favorite duos in series. They are the canon light and shadow duo for Rakuzan. Mayuzumi brings the much needed normalacy in Akashi's life like lending him his light novels(on multiple occasions might I add). But he also encouraged Akashi(in his own sarcastic way) even if he wasnt obligated to for how akashi treated him during the match. He forgives Akashi when he apologizes even though he could have rejected it. And Akashi likes Mayuzumi too. He frequently invites him to matches and outings(more like doesnt give him a chance to say no)(this was in cross colors btw) and quite literally tricked him into spending time with the other shadows(takao and kuroko). I think their relationship is very unexplored in the bigger sections of the fandom. Ok this got way too long Im sorry.
19. How about a relationship they have in canon that you don't like?
His relationship with his father leaves a lot to be desired. Now I dont think that masaomi is a bad person per say but he is a horrible father with or without meaning to. He blatantly neglets Akashi during his childhood and in his teenage years. He doesnt allow Akashi to mourn the death of his mother and only pushes him further. Akashi is forced to live up to his unreal expectations his entire life.
Now I dont think he doesnt love Akashi, I think that Masaomi is a man who loved his late wife but does not know how to give his son the love he needs and deserves partly because it was also how he was raised. Their relationship is overall pretty toxic and I can only hope that they talk through their issues when Akashi is older.
20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?
Honestly? Either Momoi or Takao.
Momoi is an insanely intelligent girl and If this wasnt already said this enough they would overthrow the world. AkaMomo friendship wasnt shown in the show because they knew it would be too powerful.
Takao is a positive and funny person. He is optimistic and one of his greatest strenghts is being able to make any situation funny. I know this has been mentioned before but both Takao and Akashi want to improve on something the other has(being a point guard for takao and being approachable and funny for akashi)
I think they would bring out the best in eachother. They would also make Midorima's life miserable which is a bonus.

There's nothing in the fandom that I particularly hate other than the people who hate her tbh. In all the fics Ive read she is pretty badass and cool.
But her haters istg. They either hate her cause they find her love for kuroko annoying or because she gets in the way of their gay ships or whatever(I absolutely despise when female characters are hated because they " get in the way of m/m ship")
They also dislike her because she body shamed riko but tbh her calling riko's boobs small is 100 times better than aomine kneeing his teammate in the gut dont you think🤨🤨
11. Would you date this character?
One word. Yes.
Momoi is such a sweet person overall, she is so nice and caring and kind. Yes her cooking sucks but I can cook well enough for the both of us. I know for a fact she would be a super affectionate girlfriend. Id be getting cuddles 24/7.
15. What's your favorite ship for this character? (Doesn't matter if it's canon or not.)
AoMomo no competition. The childhood best friends to lovers. Momoi literally being Aomine's ideal girl, Momoi not realising that she likes Aomine because she liked kuroko. Aomine always protecting her no matter what. The two of them being throught thick and thin with eachother.
I just love their relatioship whether or not it is platonic or romantic.

sometimes but its not a lot. sometimes id write something unrealistic within the rules of the AU and they would criticize me but i usually just took it as cc.

Yes ma'am, a lot LMAOO. I have written pretty much anything, including watersports (which are not my thing but i had it as a request). Only thing ive never written is r*pe or cnc, and skat. no thank uuu.

I think im very good at descriptions of both place and thoughts. i feel like i used to be really good at smut bc i would write so much of it lmao. i hope i still got it.

Finishing something, for once. wrapping up is also really hard. happy endings that dont feel like a low budget romantic movie (im a rejection-aro bro lmao).

Well spanish is quite easy bc its my mother language. other than that, if its not one of the 8 i speak, then i wouldnt feel comfortable unless i have someone fluent helping me (not google).

okay so my favorite fic so far is the Prince AU (buddie), which i havent finished nor posted. i literally have written 2 chapters of it but its just... my baby. now posted posted i think its the one i just linked in the prior question. i just love the way i portrayed each of the character's thoughts.

where i left Fighting the Hurricane probably combined with the (checks notes) 1+ year long update hiatus, i am coming back for you baby i promise. i have plans for it. i just. god. so much happened to me right as i was working on it.

All of my fic ends happy (this will not always be the case, eventual AA!AU will be. well. i shan't say.) BUT, and this might just be because its my most recent finished work, i think new steps might end off on the most hopeful note.

i have nooooot, but i am not sure that the way that i write (terrible first draft and then editing for 1000 years) is very friendly to co-writing. I'm not against the idea at all though, its just. you know. i wouldn't want to torture a friend with the everything about me. maybe someday though!!

in this house we multiship, peace and love. :) though honestly i made a joke once about retiring kira as an oc after bg3 bc of everything im putting her through after becoming so enamored with kirastarion so maybe that? sorry blorbo from my brain, enjoy the conciliation prize of elf dick.

stares guiltily at Fighting the Hurricane ch 2, languishing on my wip pile. listen, i still fully intend to finish that story. i was doing cool stuff in there. the only problem is that my brain exploded while i was writing ch 1, and this wasnt supposed to be more than 2k words but i am myself, and i didnt use outlines then, so my notes are a mess.
also i cannot possibly underline enough the bit where my brain exploded. this is an exaggeration only in that none of it came out of my head, but i was Not Myself for a Long Time.
16) What are your writing strengths?
i think my internal monologue bangs. this is because i agonize over it.
17) What are your writing weaknesses?
moving characters around in the space is like pulling teeth and i feel like a solid 30% of my editing is focused on that. getting someone from point a to point b elegantly and without it feeling like "astarion got up. he moved his feet. he sat down. he looked out the window" makes me feel like walking into the sea
18) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I like it when it makes sense! Why does this character use another language? Does the reader need to know what they're saying? Is the POV character unfamiliar with the language? Does the reader learn anything from this? If you don't have good answers, why do it?
I find tieflings really neat, and bg3 does the typical dnd thing of "tieflings are looked down on," without, like, doing much with tiefling culture. So Ive had Kira use Infernal as a shortcut to create familiarity with other tieflings, and use it to have private conversations bc why would anyone but tieflings and people living in The Hells know that language--this solves some problems for her! And it creates others.
19) First fandom you wrote for?
Naruto...... once upon a time i wrote shikamaru/sakura fic. i was going to make a joke about that being my actual first longfic but i just checked and it literally isnt, i worked on it for a year and if you dont count the in-text authors notes (it was a different time) the whole thing is shorter than true colors chapter 4.
can you imagine me, now, updating something for a year and it being less than 11k. lol. lmao, even.

Matt's let his vampirism take full control, leaving him a walking corpse constantly on the hunt for blood to keep his beautiful, youthful looks, and has also named himself King of the Night. Edd's radioactivity seemed to have backfired on him and jumbled his brain just a tad, he's gone completely off the wall and is desperate for his old friends again, when he catches wind that Tord is back, well... He seems very excited to get the gang back together.

as for your request: here's a short drabble just for you 😔❤️
seokgyu + "i miss you"
Seokmin has retyped the same three word message in his phone for the past ten minutes, only to delete the message as soon as he reads them once again.
It was stupid. He was being stupid.
The trip was only going to be for three and a half days anyway, and yet to Seokmin, it felt like forever.
Mingyu should've taken him along. It just wasn't fair that Seokmin was left behind while Mingyu was off having the time of his life without him.
A brand new notification alerts him of another new post Mingyu made on his instagram account, and Seokmin dreads seeing the new photo, thinking about how much fun Mingyu must be having right now only made him feel worse.
What if Mingyu was having too much fun without him? What if Mingyu never wanted him there in the first place? The thought alone was enough to upset Seokmin even more, and he tries very hard not to keep the depressing thoughts from spiralling even further.
Seokmin was about to call it a night, maybe even make plans with Jisoo hyung tomorrow if the older man wasn't too busy; anything to keep the ache in his chest at bay while Mingyu was off having the time of his life, apparently without Seokmin with him.
His phone vibrates in his hands just when Seokmin was setting up his alarm, and when Seokmin checked the caller id, the name that greeted him had Seokmin scrambling to answer the call.
"Hey." Mingyu's voice greeted from the other line. The sound was a bit distorted, static making his voice sound even more gravelly than usual.
"Hi." Seokmin says after a beat, heart racing as he waited for Mingyu to say whatever it was he had called for.
"Did you eat dinner already?" Mingyu asks, followed by a shift like the other man was trying to make himself comfortable in bed. The image puts a smile on Seokmin's lips, picturing Mingyu snuggled in between his pillows.
"I ate dinner with Jeonghan hyung a while ago," Seokmin answered, recalling the warm broth of beef noodle soup he had with the older man right before he headed to bed. "Why did you call?"
The other line quiets down, like Mingyu's thinking of what to answer.
Minutes drag on, and the silence continues, making Seokmin wonder if Mingyu had heard his question earlier or if the other man had already fallen asleep on him.
He was about to ask again when Mingyu's voice filters through the other line, it was clear and the softest Seokmin has ever heard him make.
"I missed you," Mingyu says, knocking all the air left inside of Seokmin's lungs. "I wanted to hear your voice before I went to sleep."
"Are you drunk right now?" Seokmin says, trying to sound nonchalant, playing it off like a joke because he can't afford to get his hopes up. Not now, not when Mingyu wasn't even here with him.
There was another pause, and Seokmin was sure Mingyu could hear how much his heartbeat was racing inside of his chest.
"I had a few drinks with Hao earlier," Mingyu finally confesses. "But it wasn't enough to get me plastered, if that's what you're implying." He adds, sounding far too sober.
"Then you–"
"I mean it, Seokmin." Mingyu says, answering his question far too quickly like he already knows what Seokmin was asking; always so ready to reassure Seokmin and make his intentions clear to him, no matter how trivial. "I missed you, so I called. That's all there is to it."
Warmth spreads throughout Seokmin's chest, setting butterflies fluttering inside his stomach, and putting a smile on Seokmin's lips upon hearing those words.
"I missed you too." He whispers, feeling breathless now that he's finally able to admit his own thoughts and feelings out loud for Mingyu to hear.
Mingyu laughs on the other line, sounding far too fond when he says, "I'll be home soon, Seokmin."
"Promise to get me something yummy on your way home."
"Of course, your highness." Mingyu answers with a dramatic sigh on the other line, but Seokmin knows he will make good on his promise. He always does.
"Thanks." Seokmin says, meaning it.
"For what?" Mingyu asks, teasing.
"For calling." Seokmin answered, wishing that Mingyu would know what he meant – that he wasn't just thankful for the call, but for the reassurance that Mingyu had provided him, and for Mingyu's admittance that he was also missing Seokmin.
"You don't have to thank me for that, Seokmin." Mingyu says with a snort. "I'll see you tomorrow, so try not to miss me too much, okay?"
"You wish I did." Seokmin quips with a roll of his eyes, laughing all the while when he hears Mingyu's indignant 'Hey!' on the other line; his earlier woes are completely forgotten now that he's talked to Mingyu.
In a way, it always does.

ok...so ik im gonna mostly be giving the stuff that ive bookmarked on ao3 (which isn't at all a comprehensive list, theres sooo much more that ive loved but I don't use my acc to read at all so I usually just free-ball it when trying to remember fics, and yes, its a habit I very much hate lol) and in fact, I wish I could mention them all here but I would be writing a novel if I spoke about each and every one of the so ur best bet is to just check that list out honestly
and also, yeah its not a YJ fic, but I enjoy how it follows his comic characters run and builds on it. I find his characterisation in this fic rlly interesting and authentic (also Max being Native American there is everything, I actually have this whole theory/HC in YJ that Max is a Native American “God” (like the ancient greek/roman gods) i.e commonly known as Mercury, that just kinda roams about but is mostly in New Genesis (no idea where that thread/post is rn but I read someone connecting Lightray to Hermes/Mercury and since then that idea has been stuck in my head lol))
okay I have gone totally off track (im so sorry omg) im gonna try to keep it concise from here lol, anyway supper recc sunshine falling, the writing is gorgeous and the plot is rlly interesting!

okay, im obsessed with this series, the world building is INSANE, the first fic in the series is basically a YJA AU where failsafe actually happened (whole flashfam except jay dies, but YJA bart still makes it to that TL cause he actually ended up dimension hopping rather than time travelling, or smn like that). To keep it short, his characterisation here is AMAZING, I love it sm, the second fic, flash facts is one of my all time favourites (if u ask me its the only canon take of his interaction with the rogues, cause don't get me started on how foul his comics history with them is (and not in a gd way)) so personally, this series, particularly flash facts, is just fantastic. it also very much explores other YJ/DC characters, (Dick is the central figure in AFTO and bart appears relatively later on and when the YJ Invasion plot passes, the plot focuses alot on other characters, especially considering its largely about Dicks evolution).
For zetaflash, I mean it quite literally when I say I think ive read almost all the fics under the tag... we are very much at that stage in the fandom, so yeah lol, quite a few of my faves are in my bookmarks but I haven't updated it in a while
Sooner than later, a Wally and bart oneshot on their YJ bond, its quite sweet, ft spitfire
Waking up to Ash and Dust its incomplete (just one chapter) and quite an old fic, its also been super long since I last read it so I can't remember it clearly, gotta give it a reread but I remember it being a rlly interesting take on things so it stuck with me, basically an outsider POV of bart with OCs
