I am she / her and an introvert , people really tired me but I get tired less easily if I like them

I play a lot of video game , I watch vid and stream , read and i crochet many thing. I like baking too.i love my pets and just animals in general (i like to learn random stuff about them)

I get uneasy on loud ou crowded place. I have trouble with eye contact but I try my best. I started playing basketball when I was about 10, but I haven't played since I was about 17? Not for any particular reason, I just haven't found anywhere I can play at (haven't looked much either LOL) this is making me wanna look into it again though :,D

Briefly played softball for about a year in high school, it was fun! I also enjoy cycling but I dont do that a whole lot. Did a bit of boxing during the singular year I had a gym membership, and learnt that I hate arm exercises with a passion but I love getting to kick things :D I'm also a freak, a weirdo even, who likes running hahaha

This is making me sound fit but unfortunately I spend 90% of my free time drawing fictional men so I don't do a whole lot of sport... ever......

Drawing, shockingly, is the main one, but I also enjoy animation and clay sculpting! I recently got into plush making, I really wanna learn how to sew properly so I can make Belphie's big human world outfit jacket for myself lol

I needle felt and crochet sometimes but those are really time consuming and take forever so Im never patient enough to pick them up for long lol

At this stage I would also consider my general zine shenanigans to be a hobby too, I can't get enough of these silly things

This is Pepper, shes my darling little angel who could do no wrong, she's graceful and beautiful and way too smart for her own good and I love her so much <333

And this is Pepper's son, Chilli, whom you could never tell was her son if you weren't told cause he's nothing like her. He's very clumsy and not very smart but he's very cute and handsome so it makes up for it and I love him very much too <33

Like 176 cm? Which I think is around 5'9 or so?

If we ignore art LOL I enjoyed english quite a bit! I know apparently the big draw of math is that there's only ever 1 answer but I'm not a logic brained person so I don't like that very much. I'm a certified bullshitter, I like being able to say whatever I want as long as I can justify it

15 - Dream job?

To draw anime boys all day...

If I was to be realistic though I think a job where I can use art and be creative but in a way that doesn't take the fun out of regular art would be ideal? I don't know what that looks like though

I actually did make a post about the process!! It's so chaotic and I'm so sorry for that ahsdkjfas but it's here! It didn't show up on my blog at first when I was digging for it, but it does exist haha

And, shameless self plug, these are the dolls in question <3

(I also made a pattern for the axolotls too, and it's still pretty scuffed but hey it's something lol)

BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS- I actually wrote down my entire pattern for Pearl!! She's been done since literally July, but I never posted her because I was planning on making a Tilly to go with her but the one I made was actually atrocious so I was gonna redo her but I waited too long and then forgot about it for four months 😭

Hoping to do a nice photoshoot for her sometime soon, then she'll be posted with her pattern/process too!

(I was on vacation when I finished Joel and Lizzie so we took fancy pictures at some fancy gardens, but I don't actually live in a place with nice foliage-)

And Oli I actually started last week!! Just a basic sketch over a picture of the base doll pattern I use (important part of my process^tm) but hopefully I'll start actually crocheting him soon! He'll get a proper pattern too, don't worry, I'm learning <3

Is your baby from a fandom or original?: Fandom - the Borderlands game series

How old is your baby?: 5 in my post canon alternate universe (7-8 years after Borderlands 3)

Tell us about your baby!: She's the testtube biological baby of Sir Hammerlock & Wainwright Jakobs (which basically means she could aim and shoot a pistol at the age of 4) and has 4 siblings (one of which is also an oc, but is an adoptive kid, and the rest are canon characters who got adopted). She has a big plushie collection (some knitted or sewn by Wainwright, some crocheted by Hammerlock, some being gifts from extended family or the Crimson raiders) and also fucked up eldritch powers beyond human comprehension bc her parents are abominations from beyond the veil (my Borderlands rewrite AU is a mess haha) which she primarily uses to teleport all over the house, causing an understandable amount of problems. Clay is her weird uncle and she loves him. She's kinda based off Wednesday Addams because autism. Also she is autistic, the nicest weirdgirl on Eden-6, swears an unusual amount for a 5 year old (being around Wainwright del Frisco Jakobs-Hammerlock will do that to you) and often swaps between her Edenian (space southern) and her Hermesian (space british) accents bc yknow. Just listen to her dads speak and you'll see.

Anything else you want to add?: (1) Most people call her Reb for short but Wainwright calls her Rebby because yes. (2) She eventually grows to inherit the Jakobs corporation and generally sorta girlbossify but that's extreme future timeskip stuff I don't talk abt often because I feel cringe about it. (3) Her name continues on the general theme of Jakobs related things having biblical symbolism - Rebekah is Jacob's mother in the book of Genesis (if i remember correctly). (3) Her voiceclaim is Lili Zanotto from Psychonauts :D (4) She calls Hammerlock "Papa" and Wainwright "Daddy"

sawyer hale is a kid who had a pretty hard knock life in a cyberpunk dystopia city. after deciding his dad kinda sucked, sawyer ran away and emancipated himself at 16 and moved into a different, nicer city and became a hermit for a while. afterwards, he proceeded to save the world twice; once he saved a cyberworld from the big bad capitalists and second he saved the universe from collapsing via terrible creature. as he goes through these adventures he learns how to be comfortable and happy with himself again.

also he destroyed his dad when he possessed a robot body. go kid!!

sawyer super loves tech but he gave it up for a while because Shitty Dad Ruining It For Him, but he eventually finds his passion again and makes phenomenal inventions. also he is the embodiment of Baby because all the adults around him want to scoop him up and carry him around for being a little issues boy with issues. they love singing and the arts in general, and they're very open-minded, which makes them a pretty good friend.

oh yeah all his adventures kinda messed up his biology so he's partially made of code now. and also has wings made of code. he can design them however he wants like retexturing game assets. YIPPIE!

shins mom is named angelita tsukimi (maiden name is betancourt-álvarez)! she moved to japan(was born + raised in cuba) for collage since i like to think she works in law :) she is fairly busy and cant really, spend that much time with shin so she tries her best to give him stuff he wants as well.. her family has history w/ chronic illness so when she had shin.. she wanted to try her best in making sure shin has all of the stuff he needs growing up :) also she helped him transition and all of that jazz..

shins dad is kanon tsukimi! born and raised in japan :) he is a stay at home dad.. but he does have a job! idk . what yet but he just does it at home since angelita cant be at home most of the time.. he stays at the house w/ shin! i think he first introduced shin to soup at a young age since he noticed how picky shin is w/ food :) kanon also makes a lot of the food at home... he actually made shin his first scarf and got him into crochet! and other small habits like cleaning :)

Hi! I see that since you mentioned match ups are open people have eagerly hopped in. I honestly don't blame them since you're so good at it. It's really fun reading everyone's match ups so I wanted to give it a go too! I wanted to avoid mentioning or comparing characters to avoid influencing the results but like simplifying a person's personality is hard so I'm just gonna roll with it, lol.

In terms of personality, I'm an introvert but that doesn't mean I'm shy. I can be (I have, like, 3 different anxiety diagnosis) but usually I'm generally low energy and relaxed. Very deadpan. So much so much so that people tend to laugh even when I'm being serious. I'm a Taurus and I find the description very much fitting. I take pride in being pragmatic, grounded, down to earth. I like taking care of people in a more realistic way (and just in general). In spite of seeming calm or blunt I'm actually really sensitive and emotional (although I'll never show others my vulnerability). I always try to consider the other person's feelings which is why I'm often called kind and considerate. A good listener. I'm quiet so that comes with the territory lol. I generally don't like to talk about myself and will only say something if asked/spoken to first. In simple terms I'd say I'm a weird mix of Jumin(practical, decisive, analytical) and V(emotional, sentimental, self sacrificing). I always end up getting the most hearts from them when I respond honestly especially Jumin haha. One last thing for me is that along with my millions of anxiety disorders(including paranoia so I heavily relate to Rika and Saeyoung) I also have ADHD(I guess *also* like Saeyoung lolol). As I'm sure you can tell by now I don't have the one that makes me bounce off the wall. I believe the one I have is called inattentive and it makes me a total space cadet. But I was very imaginative and creative so I think it was good trade off? I'm pretty sure my mom thought child me was a plant because I was so quiet and still. Never cried that much and was an "easy" child except when she had to coax me to do things. Then I was stubborn lolol. Definitely a Taurus haha.

For work and study, ever since I could hold a crayon I've been drawing and art has always been my focus. In public school I'd pick the all the art classes and I'd even take outside classes during summers off and when I grew out of that I'd do self study with books and online tutorials. I do illustration and graphic design and my major in college was visual communication design (which is a wordier way to say graphic design). I got my associates but sadly had to drop while doing my bachelor's (would love to get a master's and study art forever but it's just a dream for now). Currently, I work as a bakery clerk part time until I can get a better job but I like it. I like seeing people's faces light up saying "SO PRETTYYY~" when they see our cakes. I do a little bit of everything so bread bagging, baking, set up, orders, cake decorating. It's very well rounded job where I'm breaking a sweat and feel like I'm earning my dollar while also having creative input. I like giving the customers advice for their get togethers and parties. It's nice. I'd like to one day have my own brand and put myself out there as an artist but for now this is fine enough.

When it comes to hobbies I feel like it's on the nose cause I like to be creative and have my hands moving. The obvious is drawing (both digitally and traditionally. Love using soft chalk pastels) and baking but I also like more crafty hobbies like crocheting and scrapbooking. I'm a big stationary nerd and I love collecting paper, notebooks, stickers/washi taped, pens/pencils, ect. Been into watching bookbinding vids. I also have the more typical hobby of listening to music, reading (big book nerd put me in a book store I'll leave with a tall stack), big gamer nerd.

Some other miscellaneous info about me is my favorite color is green 💚. I generally like deep earthy, natural colors but I also like gentle pastels like pink and lavender. I'm a big dog person and I dislike cats. I'm actually afraid of them and they cause me a lot of anxiety. I would never cause trouble for them and I hope they are homed to people that genuinely adore them. I just don't jive with them. I can and have taken care of them in a pinch. I wouldn't let my personal stuff cause them harm. I definitely understand and relate to dogs more. I want to grow old with a bunch of pups to take care of lol. I don't want kids so cute puppers will do. I have hazel eyes and rusty red hair. When I was younger my hair was much brighter yellow orange compared to Saeyoung but as I got older it turned into a deeper, darker rust red. I also have freckles all over. My favorite shape is stars! I love astrology and magic and whimsy (again such a contrast from how I present lolol ⭐)

Im more prone to forgiving and moving on and I found Saeran's AE really relatable. It brought up a lot of topics that were really important to me that I feel a lot of people overlook in stories about healing from abusive parents. I really can't hold onto my anger for very long and generally prefer to look at people for what they are and either work with them or move on. I don't like letting others take my time and energy which is why I'm "nice", or at least normal, to even people i don't like. I feel like being petty and angry all the time is draining. It's just my style of healing. On the contrary I find anger and yelling very triggering for me even from friends who I know won't hurt me or are speaking on my behalf. The antagonististic energy is just very uncomfortable. I prefer a gentle touch I can trust. Everyone is capable of getting angry, it's healthy and normal, but I prefer someone who's first instinct isn't to jump to anger but understanding. Makes me feel safe.

That's about everything I can think of. I don't normally think about myself so it's hard to write haha. Hopefully that all made sense. Thanks for taking the time if you see this. 😊

Hear me out, I know this might sound odd, but you seem to fall into the same realm as his heart.

Don't take this to mean that you're self-destructive, it's actually that you're passionate and that this passion is what inspires you to be who you are. Even though it may not be a lucrative career to survive as an artist, you find a way to make it work, and in doing so, you don't sacrifice what helps you feel like you have artistic liberty. Not a lot of people have that opportunity, and it would be interesting to be close to Jihyun, wouldn’t it? He didn't give up on his dream of painting, he simply found something else to fill the void in his chest because his father made him believe he would never be able to make it.

Seeing you be your most authentic self is a challenge to everything he's ever told himself. You're the kind of person who challenges him, because while you are similar, you are inherently different, as well. It's not a bad thing, it's something he welcomes, and he can't help but want more.

He's not the kind of person who's going to jump to anger when something goes wrong. You don't have to be afraid of being in a conversation with him, especially not with the two of you are upset, because he has a level enough head to know that you need to take some time to breathe, and do whatever you need to do before you come back to the conversation. Nothing ever feels like it's going to explode when you're with him. It feels like you can overcome any challenge that comes your way.

I saw your crocheting dilemma. I just want to say that it’s always hard in the beginning. I have been crocheting for years (I frequently have to go back to watch videos to re-learn some techniques, so I always rely on videos since they are they easiest way to learn) and have a few tips if you would like? If not, feel free to ignore this- start ignoring now, cause the rest is advice:

First, the crochet circle is very hard for a beginner, typically flat projects are best, so don’t get discouraged- also did you mention that you are learning this from a kit/book? Good on you, but videos may be a little easier to learn from if you want to see different hand positioning. If you still want to work on the circle, PRACTICE, it first. What I mean by practice is-set up a practice run, you should get a length of yarn, use a large crochet hook (larger than recommended for initial practice (if you have a larger hook)-it makes the stitches larger, so it’s easier to see what to do), also make sure your stitches are looser, one of the hardest things for me to learn when I started crocheting was to maintain yarn tension (same also applies to knitting). If the stitches are too tight, it’s extremely hard to continue stitching, but if it’s too loose, you’ll lose it’s form and it turns into a mess.

Like I said, the only way to get better is to practice. I think you are doing a double magic ring? I highly recommend watching a video, it is really hard to do this by just following a book. This one is pretty good, she even explains how it works:

I wish you the best of luck, try not to get discouraged, yarn crafts are always hard in the beginning. Even the picture you posted looks better than my first attempts. The magic ring is more intermediate than for beginners, so don’t worry, you’ve got this, just go slow.

The kit I bought includes some videos, and I thought it was gonna walk me through the whole thing but it went , "this is not for beginners""magic circles are hard" and basically only showed how to do a slip knot and then was like, "now you're ready to do the pattern on your own😀"

It was really funny honestly😂😂 thankfully I only paid $7 for it so it wasn't a giant waste of money lol

I'll definitely be looking up videos and should probably start with something simple until I get a bit more knowledge on how different patterns work. Thank you for the encouragement! I need to practice so I can make ALL the plushies haha.

I also want to focus on improving my mental health and my relationship towards myself. I recently got diagnosed with depression after finally seeking help so I'm trying to adjust.

I hope to improve my grades this year especially in Chemistry and in written Biology.

I want to read more generally as it has always been a great help to me especially mentally.

seymour yelled down the hallway

an inconsistent echo of “nopee“ from 4 of the queens followed.

“hm” jane shrugged and got back to her crochet, she was about to start making a pride flag/blanket for her and her girlfriend, catalina; to take to the pride march in a few weeks.

annoyed, the third queen wandered into her girlfriends room, just to spend some quality time together. Lina was on her phone, distracted and dazed. Jane queried her on the suspicious disappearance of her brand new yarn. “i don’t know mi querida.”, catalina answered without looking away from her phone

“oh well” seymour rapidly sat upright, determined to continue with her day, disregarding her missing wool.

Cleves was scared for a second- she hadn’t figured it out in time! she had to return the yarn without jane noticing, anna knew she wouldn’t be mad but it was incredibly misfitting for her to be crocheting. Can you imagine how anne would make her feel? the insults and ‘bullying’ that would follow? (although cathy wouldn’t allow it, there’d still be tension)

the hook wasn’t looping and the yarn was fraying, ‘ugh, how do jane and cathy do this??’ anna thought while she unpaused her youtube tutorial playing on her phone.

a few days later

jane had the thought of her wool in the back of her mind - she was reluctant to buy a new set of her wool as the brand that she found best was on the more expensive side - and jane was always one to rather save her money and spend wisely for special occasions.

Laundry basket in hand, she wandered into anna’s room to put her freshly washed clothes onto her bed to be put away.

Jane was often the one doing the laundry for the queens but wasn’t opposed to it as it usually kept her busy.

Cleves was downstairs playing mario kart with kitty and anne, and had seemingly rushed downstairs in a hurry.

Jane spotted something in the corner of her eye. Her red wool! it was hidden under anna’s pillow? - not very well, clearly - jane pulled it out cautiously; she didn’t want to be caught ‘snooping’ by any of her peers.

That was it! Her red wool she had been searching for days, the only question left unanswered was why on earth would anna have it?

her quiery was soon resolved when she saw a metallic crochet hook accompanying the yarn.

The third queen knew that Cleves would be embarrassed if everyone knew she was crocheting, but seymour couldn’t help but smile. Jane texted her in hopes to subtly let her know jane was happy for anna to be crocheting.

“hey i found my wool in your room?? do you want me to teach you?”

“uhh haha sorry bout that, just looked kinda fun lmao please teach me it’s so hard ;-;”

“lol no problem lmk when you’re free i can help!!

just don’t take my stuff without asking next time!”

later that week, jane and anna went out to the craft store to pick up a few hooks of various sizes and some yarn.

With a live tutor, Anna seemed to pick up the movements and gist of crochet a lot easier and actually seemed to enjoy the hobby. It only took her a few weeks to be able to make a pink scarf for katherine - which she cherished deeply -

Upon experimenting, Jane and Anna who, prior to this occurance, barely spoke, found themselves crocheting together multiple times a week when they got bored and Anna now had a newfound hobby and a new connection to Jane seymour.

I’ve been crocheting for like… 12-14 years? I don’t remember exactly but my abuela taught me. I can knit but I definitely prefer crochet! I think I prefer the hook in crochet vs the needles in knitting… how do you keep it on without the hook??? 😂 here’s a scarf I knit:

Because it’s stockinette stitch the ends curl in even after pinning, though I do think my tension was off either way. Also I made the pattern myself and I was SO proud 😂 my abuela tried to teach me to knit but that was all me! And YouTube for a reminder on how to actually knit lmao.
