Hiatus Update

I have made my decision to make my departure from the Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss fanfic community, and here is why:

Quite honestly, I don’t have the motivation anymore, it’s simply not something I really enjoy doing anymore, it honestly causes me more stress than happiness now.

And besides, I’m not really into writing for these batches of characters as much as I was back when I first started out in February.

What kept me going whilst writing on this blog was my amazing and goddamn talented mutuals who I met along the way — And a lot of them took their leave much sooner than I did, and after awhile, writing just became dull without them.

Also, I’ve grown to slowly to slide away from the fandom, but not entirely!

I’ve grown more invested in the voiceover work that I do for HH/HB and I think it’s shown, honestly, my voice actor mutuals over on TikTok are as into Hazbin/Helluva as I am, I also have a much closer and deeper bond with my VA mutuals than I do with my Tumblr ones (sorry guys), and honestly, the projects that I work on for VA are much less draining than the ones I do on Tumblr now.

But you’re probably wondering, what’s going to happen to this blog? And if you weren’t, I don’t care and am going to tell you anyway!

This blog will turn into my dump basically, reblogs and yap sessions and other shit, all of my writing will still stay up for you champs to enjoy.

As of now, I’m unsure if I’ll even do the rest of my requests from pre-hiatus, I might, if I feel like it and have the time, but honestly, who knows at this point.

But before I end this, there’s a few things I’d like to say, more specifically, people that I’ve met along the way that I’d like to thank.

@chabasheeran — Abby, you were the mutual I had on here that I had one of the biggest connections with, if not THE biggest connection with. You are a kind, talented, and downright awesome person and writer, but above all else, you are genuine. You have always been very honest and open within our time talking to one another, not afraid to say it how it is, and I enjoyed every last minute of it. I know we’ve sorta drifted off over time, but I don’t see you as any less of a friend that I did before, and it’d be fucking sick to talk to you again. Thanks for being you, Abs!

@si1vya — Faith, you were one of the biggest driving forces to my blog. Once I found your page and saw that you said that I inspired you to start a blog of your own made my fucking day, week, and hell, even month. I know we haven’t talked much, but you’ve always sorta floated around in my askbox and replies, and your presence was appreciated, and it still is <3

@averagetoyakinnie — Jaxrel, my first mutual on Tumblr! Again, we never really spoke much, but it always so easy talking to you when we did, I could have the energy with you that I shared with any one of my close irl friends. I would always get extra excited to do your requests, and lowkey prioritized them over my others, I don’t know you well, but hey, you’re the kinda guy I’d always be down to have a chat with, never let anyone dim your sparkle!

@bigfatbimbo — Ellie, out of this list of mooties, I probably spoke to you the least, but I still owe you the biggest thank you. You were my idol, you were the reason I started my blog in the first place. And when I first saw the notification that you followed me back, I couldn’t stop smiling for the rest of the night. Our interactions haven’t really been much outside of reblogs and replies to eachothers posts, but just, thank you for being on this silly little app, otherwise I wouldn’t have had the blessing of starting my blog.

And most of all, thank you, each and everyone of you lot for following me. All 700 and who fucking knows how many of you each mean the world to me, no joke.

I would get excited to get home from work or school to write requests, or answer asks, or reply to comments, or do those stupid reblog/ask games — I LOVED the interaction from each and everyone of you.

Thank you for sending in asks, requests, or even just replying to posts — You have no idea how bright the smile on my face was each time I get a new notification from Tumblr.

Soooo… What now?

I know voice acting isn’t what you guys came here to enjoy, but as I’ve said before, my side blog, @miosmiked is where I’m going to start being more active.

I have a Helluva Boss project in the makes, the teaser/meet the cast video should be out tomorrow or sometime within the next few days, it’s a parody, but also a fandub, and I think a lot of you would really enjoy it.

Also sorry for making this sound really sappy 😭😭 I just love you guys and my blog sm

Sooo uhh, I think that’s it? Anyway, this is sad- woah.
