hello! I am an IOS user. I hope this answers your question correctly!
so for the mobile app of tumblr, you just need to press on the smiley face on your tool bar.
1.
After clicking it, you will enter your Notification Center, then you press the tab that says messages!
2.
that will then pull up your dms/chats you have or want to start with other blogs on this app!
On the website of tumblr, you click on the three lines to pull up your tool bar.

When your tool bar is pulled up, you then click on messages tab to open up your chats/dms
2.
Now onto actually sending a blog a message!
You go onto their profile and in the top right corner you’ll find a message box with a plus sign in the box. You want to click that!

After clicking it, it will pull up three options. You’ll want to click “message”
2.
Then you send your message to that blog!
On the website it, it’s the same symbol but you’ll find it underneath their bio! And after clicking it, it will send you straight into the chat!
I hope this helps you navigate your way into understanding how to message and see your chats on tumblr!🫶🏻 you can try it out by sending me a dm to test it out!

As your phone rang on your nightstand, a groan left your lips as you knew who was calling you. You reached over to grab the phone…
Tsukishima smirked lazily at you, his hands slithering along your waist to pull to back to his chest. “Now why do you still give that loser the time of day?” He mumbled into the back of your neck, his lips brushing softly along the skin. A smile made your way to your lips as you turned your head slightly to look at the blond behind you. “Suki, he’s still my boyfri-“ before you could finish he cut you off with a scoff, “say that to me while you’re in my arms again, and I swear to you, you won’t be walking straight tomorrow.”
Despite Hinata’s jolly mood couple seconds ago, a frown immediately appeared when you slipped out of his arms. He knew it was wrong, to hold you when you’re in a relationship-even if it was toxic, he should’ve still respected it. But you were just too tempting to him, so tempting, he broke his morals for you. Snatching your phone out of your hands, he declined the call. “Sho!” You gasped, looking back at the boy in your bed, “why did you do that?” His frown deepened at your words, tossing your phone on the other side of your bed, he moved above you. Your back pressed back down on your bed as his hands rested on your hip, his thumb rubbing soft circles against the skin. “Why do you want to talk to him? Do you not enjoy talking to me?” He mumbled softly, his head dipping down to your neck to leave feather light kisses along the skin.
Osamu rolled his eyes as he let out a long sigh, rolling onto his back as he spread his arms out. He glanced over towards you, seeing you pick up the call from your boyfriend. Your smile dropped into a frown at whatever the bum was spitting to you through the phone, he watched, bitting along his bottom lip. Silently, his moved closer to you so you’re within his reach. Wrapping you in his arms securely, he pulled you back down into the plush mattress. Your eyes widen in surprise as you suppressed the gasp of shock. You quickly muted your mic, turning to the grey haired boy, “Samu! You know I’m on the phone” you whispered, but made no attempt to escape the grasp of his arms. “Unmute, let him hear what you sound like when you’re actually in love” he replied, a smirking forming on his face as he captured your lips with his.
Suna knew full well what he was doing, holding your phone in one hand as the other went to cover your mouth. The sound of your boyfriends voice came through the speakers of the phone and suna couldn’t help but laugh at it. “Seriously, what do you see in this guy?” He chuckled, shaking his head as he looked down at you. He took off speaker phone as he placed the phone to his ear, keeping his eyes locked on you, “hello?…ah, y/n?..hey now don’t be mad because you’re not the one in bed..” he laughed, and your eyes widened at his words. In a hurry, you snatched your phone back from the chocolate haired boy. “It’s not wh-“ you stopped mid sentence when you realized that nobody was on the phone. Embarrassment and anger filled you as looked up at boy, shoving his chest. “That’s not funny suna!” Even when you’re angry at him, he can’t help but smile. “Bunny, it’s everything what it sounds like.” He mumbled, leaning down to your lips.
The energetic Bokuto, who seemed to be in a much calmed mood, smiled widely as he held you firmly in his arms. He head buried into the crevice of your neck as he let out a deep exhale. Only when your started to shuffle your way away from him, did he peek open an eye. Seeing you reaching for the phone made him tug you back. “No. You don’t get to entertain other men when you’re with me” he pouted, pushing his head deeper in you neck and planting a couple kisses to the skin. “Ko..but you’re the other man im entertaining if we’re being honest” you mumbled, running a hand through his hair. With that sentence, he let out a dramatic gasp, raising his head to look at you. “No! Take that back y/n. I will not be the other man- I mean yes, technically I am, but! I will not accept that title” he grumbled, shaking his head. With a soft laugh leaving you, you nodded your head and pulled him back down to you. “Okay, fine you’re not the other man”
Akaashi’s sleep was interrupted by the annoying ring of your phone. “Turn it off” he grumbled, rolling over onto his back he made sure to move you with him. With a huff of small annoyance you squirmed around in his arms, “well I can’t if you keep pulling me along with you when you move!” You muttered, managing to pry away one of his arms. He only hummed in response, too tried to make a sentence until he heard the voice of your boyfriend come through your phone when you accepted the call. His eyes shot open as he snapped his head towards you, “you’re not seriously talking to that shithead at this hour” he muttered lowly, narrowing his eyes at you. You waved your hand dismissively to him in response, earning you another grumble. In a quick movement, Akaashi snatched the phone and hung up on the boy. “How can sleep when my Princess if talking to other boys?” He mumbled, pulling you back to him in a tight hug. “Kei! What the hell? Now I have to call him back!” You responded, shuffled around trying to reach your phone. “No, you don’t have to do anything but cuddle with me. Now go back to sleep”

Another deep sigh could be heard from the room down the hall, it seemed to become more of a frequent sound to be heard during these nights. Kenma took off his headset, leaning back into his chair to take a peek down the hallway. The door was slightly ajar, a strip of yellow light seeping out into the darkness. He knew his lover was probably hunched over a canvas, a brush in hand, trying to perfect the already perfect art.
With that thought in mind, he let out a sigh of his own. Pushing himself up from his chair, doing a small stretch in process of pausing the game on his monitor, he proceeded to exit the room. Creeping closer to the ajar door, he stepped into the strip of yellow light, an eye peeking through the crack.
He could see you, as he imagined, hunched over a canvas a frown on your lips as you stared down at it. He knew you’ve been having trouble with your creativity lately. It’s been weeks since you’ve picked up a brush, and now that you have, you seemed trouble with everything you did. He never understood, as he always found your pieces such a beauty to the eye. But you on the other hand didn’t seem to meet eye to eye on the matter. The troubled look in your eyes was a dead give away, to anyone who were to see you, that you didn’t like what you saw.
A soft knock made your gaze shift from your work to the door, that was now fully pushed open. You gave a soft weary smile to Kenma, noticing his concerned eyes.
“You doing alright?” He spoke softly to you as he walked into the room, making sure to avoid the clutter around the floor. You bite the inside of your cheek as you looked back down at your painting. It was something simple, something you’ve worked years to perfect. A small portrait shouldn’t have you overthinking your skills, but ever since coming back to this hobby; everything seemed to bother you.
‘He must’ve noticed, I shouldn’t trouble him though.’ Was the first thought to pop in mind as you figured out what to tell him.
“Yeah, everything’s fine… really” you looked back at him, a half smile on your lips. You hoped he couldn’t see the disappointment in your eyes. But he always took notice of everything about you, he knew you inside and out.
“Don’t lie y/n….you’ve been struggling ever since you came back” he stood at your side, one of his hands coming up to brush a strand of hair behind your ears. Then he let his hand slip down to your jaw, his thumb brushing along your cheek and chin.
“How about we take a break? You’ve been cooped up since sundown. I’ll turn off the game and we can cuddle, yeah?” His tone was gentle, knowing that a wrong word could break you in this moment of weakness. You looked up to him, leaning your head into his touch. Your eyes watered, you didn’t feel like you deserved this angel in front of you. You nodded your head, feeling a lump forming in your throat from holding back the load of emotions.
“…thank you baby” you muttered out, standing up from your stool. Your knees ached from the lack of movement of the past couple of hours, but you shook it off. You didn’t spare your painting another glance as Kenma lead you out of your studio.
As you both slipped under the covers, Kenma held you close. His hand gently running along you hair, it was silent in the room until he spoke up. “..i never understood why you never like your art. How you think every stroke of the brush is a mistake, or how you feel like you didn’t catch the beauty that’s being showcased on the canvas. I never understood kitten.”
You laid on his chest, listening to his words. You inhaled a breath, about to speak before he cuts you off. “I never understood, because I always liked your art. I always liked every detail you put in with that brush. And I always liked how you captured everything on a simple canvas.”
He tilted his head down, looking at you as he continued to brush through your hair. You felt your heart pound in your chest and your eyes water. Knowing that at least someone saw what you wanted to see in your art was enough. “I know I can do better than what I’m painting now, I just can’t seem actually do it” you spoke out, feeling your bottom lip start to tremble. You felt ridiculous, getting worked up over something so little. He lets out a soft sigh, his other hand coming up to wipe at your eyes.
“I know you can too, but after coming back from such a break, y/n, it’s not just going to just come to your hands baby.” He spoke softly, his thumb brushing along your cheek. “It’s like when a new game comes out. And I know I can beat it, but I keep dying to some low level boss. I know my skill is better, but i haven’t played this new game. So I suck, until I get back on my grind, then I’m back to being the best. It’s just like that kitten, except you don’t suck. You never suck” he said, a soft chuckle coming out at the end. It vibrated through his chest as you couldn’t help the smile that reached your lips. You laid your cheek down against his chest, nodding your head.
He was right, of course he was. You cleared your mind away of the doubting and overthinking thoughts. You knew that if you were going to get back to the skill you once stood at, you needed to ‘get back on the grind’, as your boyfriend put it. With that you leaned up, placing a soft grateful kiss to his lips, which he returned, his hand gently cupping you cheek.
The night drained on and you felt better about your portrait, knowing that stressing over a little thing is only going to hold you back from accomplishing your goal. You were just thankful Kenma made you realized it.

Hey there, hope you're doing fine! I was wondering if you could do a one-shot of kenma with an artist!reader. I had this idea where reader just started painting again after a big break because of creative block, so they get self-conscious every time they start a new work because they fear it won't be good enough. (This was very specific sorry---)

Timeskip!Osamu x Baker!Reader [request!]
Synopsis! Osamu and reader running a cafe together.

It was at times like these that the Miyas have slight regret of opening up a café.
It was rush hour and the cafe was severely understaffed. Multiple orders came in at once and the poor workers were running around like bees of a hive. Osamu’s gray hair could be seen through the kitchens window, dashing around the cafe to take orders and serve them out afterwards. You couldn’t help the snicker that left your lips as you took notice of it from the kitchen. Osamu could only spare you a glance, a small smile on his lips, before going back to the task at hand.
As the day went on and the sun went down, less customers appeared. You let out a tired sigh, your hands working on the knot that had appeared over time on your shoulders from all the mixing of batter and decorating of cakes during the rush. Too busy to notice Samu leaning against the kitchen entry, a soft smiling gracing his lips as he watched you. In long quick strides, he’s behind you, his arms made their way around your waist, resting his chin on your shoulder.
“Tiring day..” he mumbled out, leaving a feathery kiss along the crook of your neck. You hum out in response, leaning back against his chest. “So many cakes” you softly grumbled, eyes closed as you placed your hands on top of his.
You both gently start to sway, taking in the time of finally being relaxed. No running around, no decorating for hours. It’s just relaxing now. Just taking the time to enjoy the quietness.
So it was times like these, that the Miyas enjoyed having a café together.
