Love the above addition.
Birds generally don't like getting picked up from behind, but they are much more willing to be picked up when a finger is placed beneath their feet so they can jump on. I can clearly picture Bruce trying to pick Tim up and he just flaps around all frustrated. So Bruce thinks he just doesn't like being picked up. (In reality Tim just isn't used to people picking him up.) But then one night Tim is perched on a wall or something and Bruce just comes and stands next to him, and Tim just lightly hops onto Bruce, and happily stays there.
And then there is Damian, I also agree is like a cat, but more specifically like that meme of the difference of picking up cats and dogs, where the cat just ...streches.
And Bruce is confused because after Tim he is out of practice picking up kids but he could have sworn the they normally didn't just double in length when you try and pick them up. (And also like a cat, if you try to pick Damian up when he doesn't want to be picked up, then you will be leaving with a bunch of scratches.)

Bruce main experience with children would be this little acrobat who would just jump/flip out of his arms and honestly enjoyed the extra momentum of the toss when being put down. So that's just how he is use to releasing kids when carrying them. But then he has Jason, and is holding him and they have a cute moment, but then by instinct he throws Jason, and Jason just thumps to the ground. And both of them are staring at each other with confusion.

Logically I know that the audio tour guide is in mother’s brain, HOWEVER, my brain doesn’t actually know how the tour guide got into her brain. Like, was he uploaded? Plugged in? How did it happen? So I end up just picturing her carrying around a mini radio like device. But my brain has made up many non-canon ways mother and the guide get around. Bellow is a few of those ideas, as well of some weird ways the guide could have gotten into mother’s brain.

Do you think people like seeing their favorite characters suffer in fanfiction and media is because they want to see them recieve more love but, in one way or another, were taught that open displays of affection and care are only acceptable if the other person is in pain some how?
