My choices:
The knowledge of ancients, these can be eldritch gods or primordials or just oonga boonga cavemen
Hot vampire
A (potentially) yandere faerie
Face blindness
#1 would be bc I would know shit, I love knowing shit without putting effort into learning. I could potentially learn magic and alchemy and become immortal or something. If I end up not learning anything useful, at least I'll still get an A in history... fuck wait, they wouldn't cover that.
#2 bc why tf not? and I can always ask a trusted friend (if I can turn them even better) for their blood, or sneak into blood donation places. But while being immortal and genderless is a rly cool idea, I don't want to deal with the depression as my friends and family die if I end up not being able to turn others.
#3 Honestly depends on the fae and what kind of yandere if they are one. The idea of no concept of human morality leads me to the idea of a yandere, potentially kidnapping you to keep you safe. With a ton of stories on the fae kidnapping children it's not impossible for them to do the same to me. I just hope we both know each others name. This would probably be the worst option due to how unpredictable it is.
#4 I can tell who they are off of outfits, body shape and size and their voices. As for downsides: You never can see your loved ones faces again, you can't see them smile, you can't see them laugh, or cry, you also can't use the face to tell when they lie.
So I'm gonna take my chances with the knowledge one in hopes of learning a magic ritual to becoming a vampire... or sexy shapeshifter.
Reblog to curse your followers and mutuals.

Dear Disney
If you are ever going to do a live-action Tangeled movie, I have a few suggestions you could use.
Don't
If you refuse to go with number 1, how about a parody of sorts. Have Jack Black play Mother Gothel.
M U P P E T S
Muppets and Jack Black
Some fifth thing
Thank you (not),
(No) Kind Regards,
Me

I want to live in a story, written with love and passion and pain from the author.
I want my pain and struggle to exist for reason, so that when I look upon the face my my author, asking the simple question of why, they may answer:
"So that I may not be alone"
I want to be able to grow and be better and have my story loved by many, and help for more
I want to be a character in a story

Me: I'm having a shit time at school
Way to fucking many people: same
Me: ... doesn't this mean that school's the problem and should change to help its students?
Literally anyone who can change the education system: how about some extra advantages for ppl with learning disabilities, and a psychologist.
Me: yeah coz this fucking works

I've never watched the DreamSMP, nor have I ever really been into their stuff.
But holy fuck.
Minecraft youtubers either die heroes or live long enough to see themselves become villains.

I think robots scarier.
As a clone you still exist as a person, yes your entire life is inconsequential, lacking any and all possible aside from the one given to you by your creators, but like, isn't that how it is anyway? Now you just look like your co-worker and refered to by a number and letter, given a status below that of a regular person.
As a robot my entire life would be a lie. What are the memories of my family? My friends? Are they fake? Are my emotions fake? My mind is just a bunch of wires and circuitry.
Plus as a robot I'd be reaffirming the stereotype of autistics being robots/aliens/anything but human.
So robot's shittier and scarier.
Although I could start role-playing terminator, so, pro's and cons.

Me: Are you high?
Frank: Am I what?
Me: High
Frank: Hey
At the age of 16 all witches are assigned a familiar. You are excited for yours as you see your friends turn 16 and get theirs. Cats, Crows, spiders. You are devastated to find out that out your 16th birthday, your familiar is a 27 year old hipster named Frank.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT I CRACKED THE CASE!!!
Not on who killed Mr Ratchett.
But I did figured out why I'm able to read 20+ chapters of a single fanfiction in one sitting but reading a book makes me want to fall asleep.
Because books are physical, I am forced to acknowledge how much I will have to read.
If it's digital like fanfiction, it's like doom scrolling. You don't know how much you've read until it's 3am and you've got a physics assignment to complete by 8am and you haven't done jackshit.
I think this might be adhd, but idk, I've been forced to live with it my entire life, I don't know what it's like without it and therefore are unable to deduce what is and isn't caused by my neurodivergency.

Don't know how to create hooking character arcs? I got you!!
(✨Dos and don'ts in character arc creation, part 1: don'ts✨)
Every writer knows that's a good character arc is something hard to achieve, and that there is usually a very fine line between making your characters evolve to the better and making them change completely... But don't worry! That's why today I wanted to share some of my tips to give your characters that something that will make their transformative journey unique, and also make your readers fall in love with them. So, let's get right to it!
DON'TS
1. Don't make your characters passive.
Your story needs someone strong to fight against whatever you are planning to put them trough! Making your characters strong doesn't necessary mean creating buff characters, but a good character will always have that *something* that can always push them to their try best. Could be a goal, a loved one, an ideology...
2. Don't give your characters some random disaster for no reason.
Of course, this things sometimes happen, but the best kind of disasters are the ones your character has put themselves into: they have no one else to blame (even if they tried). This are the disasters you should be pressuring for your characters, because they will teach your character something. Maybe your character was very egocentric during most of the story, and now they are alone. You can now either make them realize, or start a villain character arc were they believe the world has made them like that...
3. Don't make the decisions easy.
During the story, your character will have to take a lot of decisions, including many important ones, but here is the deal... Most of them shouldn't be easy. Make it hard for them to decide, make the decisions something that they feel guilty of, make them think that, maybe, "there really was a better alternative". Also remember that when taking hard decisions, characters usually decide what they think will make them suffer less: that's what we call pain vs pain.
4. Don't make everything terrible.
Remember: there's always calm before the storm. And, if you give your characters a false sense of victory, failure will always hurt more. (Even if you don't plan your characters to fail, it's a good technique to use before eventually everything comes down).
5. Don't be afraid of giving the character the ending they deserve.
When the story ends, you should be capable of naming at least three mayor changes in your character. But, of course, when the story ends you also want your readers to think "yes, that's what needed to happen". So, writers: don't be afraid. If the character deserves a bad ending, give it to them. If they deserve to succeed, let them win. Each story is different, but there will always be that ending that you feel is the right thing... Believe me, if a character deserves to fail, I'll want them to fail at the end, and there is not a feeling as good as someone getting what they deserve, what they have been earning since page one.
I wish this was helpful, and if you are interested keep tuned for the part 2: dos in writing character arcs. Happy writing everybody!!

Reblog for a larger sample size!
No "show results", if you're not a fanfic writer just be patient.
I saw a post about an anon saying it was embarrasing to have an ao3 account in your 30s (it's absolutely not), so I want to do a poll and see what the age range actually is.
