Hello dude, what's up lol. I haven't done that many requests so I hope I don't mess this up. Can you write some comfort regarding a disabled trans FTM reader and the kid pirates, mainly involving Kid and Killer? All platonic. I know it's quite specific but the pain of my cEDS is killing me right now and I'd be great to read something along those lines. Being trans and crippled can lead to a lot of dissociation regarding your body, it feels foreign to you in an extreme and debilitating way, what better than to cope with my two favorite fictional characters lol

Kid Pirates with a trans!disabled!reader

Important Info: I AM NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. I took a long time researching this so I hope it's accurate.

A / N: Awww I hope you feel better :((. I did a LOT of research for cEDS and I REALLY hope I you the facts right. Please , please comment or message me if I got any information wrong or anything of the sort.

None of them truly understood you. You were strong , so why did you try not to fight ?

The first person to ask you about it was Killer. You explained to him that you had cEDS and he was confused as hell.

You explained the symptoms. You bruised easily , your skin is velvety / dough like , minor trauma can split your skin , etc. You explained that being in fights could put you at risk.

You also explain what it was.

He understood. He was more that willing to accommodate for you. He wasn't a monster. A pirate , yes. But not a monster.

Anytime anything happened , he was there. He made sure to assist you as much as he could without making you depend on him. You were your own person after all. He knew you wouldn't like it if he babied you.

Kid caught on and asked Killer about it. You were strong , so why was he acting this way with you ??

Killer tried his best to explain your condition and why he did the things he did. Kid still didn't understand.

Killer had to explain it in dumb terms for him to understand. At that , he also tried to help.

You were part of his crew. He may not say it much , but his crew means everything to him. Especially you and Killer since you 3 were childhood friends.

The crew learned from Killer as well and did their best to help while also trying to make you feel like yourself.

Killer was your go - to whenever you were in pain or felt dysphoric. He would sit with you for however long you needed him to and would comfort you as best as he could.

It was during one of these sessions that he learned about you being trans.

He may not have shown it , but he felt a sense of pride at the fact that you were so trusting in him.

Kid wasn't the best at comforting words , but he did sit with you and Killer sometimes. He let's you hangout in his office while he tinkers with whatever thing he's working on.

It's then that you guys get into deeper conversations.

He also learns you're trans but doesn't know what the hell it is. You had to explain you were a girl and now , you're a guy. Top surgery or not , he silently promised himself that he would make sure everyone respected you for the gender you went by.

If anyone said anything about your disability or gender , he'd beat the shit out of them.

Even if he wasn't good with comfort , he was willing to defend his friend to the ends of the world.

So was the rest of the crew.

They would help you as best as they could. They adored you and cared about you , so why would they not ?

Heat and Wire would be the ones to help you whenever you went through any pain or dysmorphia because of feminine issues.

Killer and Kid , however , we're your go to whenever it came to any body related stuff.

They would talk to you like you were on the same level as them. Not any less and not anymore. You felt like you truly belonged to the Kid Pirates.

When it came to fights , you were benched. You were more of a strategist and mixologist.

Though you are different from them , Kid and Killer truly care for you. You 3 are childhood friends. They would never give you up because of your own problems.

One time , you guys went to a bar and you got harassed. They grabbed your wrist and you bruised REALLY fast.

Because of that , Kid and Killer beat the person's ass and held you by their side for the rest of the night.

In their eyes , you're one of them. It doesn't matter if you struggle with something or not. Theres always someone to help you and they would never leave you alone.

Fleetling: Akainu and Son!Reader

Includes: Akainu , Male Reader , Marines.

A / N: Ofc ! Anyone can request multiple times !! I don't mind writing for people !! I wrote 2 little scenarios I hope you enjoy:3

"Keep your elbows up , boy !" A stern voice shouted as he raised his fist towards your blade.

"Come on , dad ! We've been training for hours !! I'm tired !!" You complained , pulling your strained arms downwards and letting your sword tip hit the ground. The man in question sighed and shook his head. He put his hand down and moved it to cross his arms.

"Fine. Go take a break and deliver those papers to my office once you're done." He spoke , walking over to you and placing his large hand on your head. You smiled and dropped the sword from sheer exhaustion.

You let go of him and picked up your weapon. After sheathing it , you attached it back to your waist. By the time you finished , your father had already left. You stuck your tongue out towards the door and walked lazily over to it.

Some marines were coming in , so they held the door open for you. "Hey , Reader ! He got you training again ?" One of the men asked , causing the other 2 next to him to turn in your direction. You groaned and rolled your shoulders.

"Hes workin' me to death !" You complained , moving to lean against the wall. "Well , you're hos only son. You gotta be strong so you can take his place ! You're already an Admiral , so you can only get better from there." The man to the left commented , smiling softly at you. You sighed and nodded.

"I know , I know." You shook your head and walked out behind the marines , starting the long walk to your room. On your way , you were greeted by other marines and such. You even stopped to speak to Vice Admiral Garp for a bit. Now , you had a large bump on your head because you told him about the latest argument with your father.

You walked towards a large , white door with golden writing next to the door. The writing read as 'Epithet Reader' with more large words that read: 'ADMIRAL'. Your room. Your haven. You smiled happily and walked into your room , the harsh light from the blinds burning your eyes. You breathed in the smell of your freshly cleaned room and stumbled over to your bed.

As soon as you placed your sword down and took your shoes off , you flopped onto the bed. You just . . Laid there , trying to fall asleep. Your bones ached violently and your head was pounding. Being an Admiral wasn't easy.

After what seemed to be forever , a stern knock was heard. You knew immediately who it was. You forced yourself to turn over and strained a response. "Come in." At your words , someone walked in. That someone was the Fleet Admiral himself , Akainu.

Your father brought a basket over to your bed and placed it down. He sat down on your office chair and crossed his legs. "You've been working hard , Reader." He spoke calmly , closing his eyes and relaxing in your presence.

You looked at the basket and opened it. The basket contained some of your favorite foods and treats ! Your eyes lit up and you sat up immediately , ignoring the pain your body felt.

"I'm proud of you , son." Though those words didn't seem like much to most , it meant the world to you. You placed the basket down as your eyes teared up. You threw yourself on your father and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you , father. I plan to keep working hard." He awkwardly patted your back and gently removed your body from his. "Now go shower. You smell like Borsalino's breath." He rolled his eyes and stood up from the chair. You laughed and winked.

"At least I'm dressed better." You remarked as you threw your Admiral coat off your shoulders. "Debatable." Akainu retorted. You gasped and feigned a hurt expression.

"I'm hurt , dad !" You flopped onto your bed dramatically and laughed. He smirked and shook his head. "I have a mission for you tomorrow , so I need you to be prepared." He said as he walked towards the door.

"I'm always prepared." You spoke confidently. You smiled and let out a light chuckle , as did he. As he left , you gathered your clothes and made your way to the Admiral Bathhouse to clean yourself.

"Jeez ! That was ROUGH." You groaned , locking the cage to the cell inside of your ship. You were sent to capture a rowdy group of pirates who tried to invade a marine island. Which one ? You didn't even remember.

You closed the door to the jail room and made your way towards your office. "Admiral Reader !" 2 marines shouted as they approached you. You turned to them and raised an eyebrow. "Yes ?"

"Fleet Admiral Sakazuki is on the transponder snail and he is asking to speak to you !" The 1 on the left spoke , holding out the snail in question. You picked the snail from his hand and made your way towards your office.

"Whats up , dad ?" You said smoothly , closing the door and moving to take a seat on your slightly worn down chair. You heard some rustling from the other side and the all too familiar voice peaked up.

"How did it go ?" Sakazuki asked , causing you to smile widely. "Really well ! We captured the whole group , like you asked." You braged. Everytime you came back from missions , you made sure to tell your father so he was proud of you.

"Good. And the island ?" He questioned once again. You sighed and shook your head a bit. "It's fine. There were casualties , but we took care of them and limited the amount significantly." You answered , putting your elbow on the table. As you did that , you put your head on your hand.

"Excellent. Good job , son." Akainu spoke calmly. Unbeknownst to you , he was smiling. He was happy his son was okay. "What is your estimated arrival time ?" He continued.

"Around an hour. The ship had some damages and had to be repaired." You moved to lean back in your seat and sighed in content. "I see. Well , we are having a meeting with the warlords in a couple of hours so arrive as quickly as you can."

You stared at the snail for a minute and inwardly groaned. "Again ? We had one a week ago !" You complained , stretching your limbs. "It's regarding the troublesome pirate from Marineford. Strawhat Luffy and his crew." He didn't bother listening to your complaints. You knew you had to go anyways , so there was truly no point.

"That kid again ? I thought he had disappeared." You said , a bit shocked after realizing what he said. You were there during the war. You still had a massive scar from Whitebeard himself. Thinking of him made you slightly angry.

"He hadn't. He's at Dressrosa as we speak. I've sent Fujitora , but he may need backup. You know how that stubborn fool is." You knew of your father's little situation with Fujitora. They both had 2 different senses of justice , so they would often butt heads. You shook your head again and readjusted the coat around your shoulders.

"Shouldn't Doflamingo be handling him ?" You inquired , remembering the Heavenly Demon. At the sound of his name , you shivered. That bastard always creeped you out.

You father sighed and you could hear the anger in his tone. "SHOULD be. That kid is something else."

After the call , you arrived back at the base. After turning in the pirates , you made your way to your father's office. You knocked and almost immediately got ushered in.

"Son. I need you to listen to me." The smell of smoke filled the room , burning your nose. The smell was all too familiar , but that didn't mean you enjoyed it. "What's up ?"

"You are going to have to set out to Dressrosa today." He crossed his arms on the table and stared at you with a look that you couldn't read. "What ? I just got back." You raised an eyebrow and crossed your arms as well.

"Plans have changed. I trust you to handle this assignment." Having Akainu's trust was no easy task. Especially for his kids. You had it , which meant the world to you. You had the harsh man's trust.

"Count on me , father." You spoke , turning on your heel to leave the room. "I will. Make me proud."

Could we normalize giving a bit more love to the x reader writers?

I feel like I see so many of us get like little to no comments or tags despite having several hundred likes. Like,, yes, writing the requests is super fun! But it's also kinda draining when maybe only 1-2 people say anything past "give us more content."

It takes a lot of time and creativity for us to write these for free. Even just a little comment saying you love it or a little gif or even just an emoji can go a lot further than yall would think!

Strange but Okay: Sanji x Reader

A / N: this is ADORABLE. I changed the mail to a call ! Sorry , it just worked out better for what I had planned. I hope you don't mind !!

Today was no ordinary day. The sun was beating down on the water , making it shine beautifully. The wind was peaceful and made the air a tolerable chilly. The sky had many clouds that framed the sky perfectly. It was a perfect day to relax.

On this beautiful day , one of the crewmates happened to be in their room with a wide smile on their face. This day reflects the event of the day. It's Reader's birthday ! Their first birthday away from home. It made them feel a bit homesick , but they would be okay.

You sighed and smiled at yourself in the mirror. Today was YOUR day. Even if you weren't at home , you would continue your tradition. Who better to then the cook of the Straw Hats himself ?

You dried yourself off from your bath and put on a robe. You searched through your closet and put on the clothes you normally wear. You sighed in satisfaction and stretched your joints until you felt a satisfying pop. You smiled softly and opened the door to exit your room.

You closed your door and began your walk to the kitchen to find Sanji. You didn't tell anyone it was your birthday , not yet at least. You didn't want to bother them , so you kept to yourself until you figured out what you wanted.

While walking , you thought of some of the sweets from your homeland. You were craving . . Hm. How about some St. Honoré cake ? Yeah. That sounds good ! By the time you decided , you ended up at the door to the kitchen.

You stepped inside and saw the cook making Luffy a snack since . . You know. He's always hungry. Nothing unusual. "HEYY READER !" You heard from the corner. You turned and waved to your captain , who was waiting for his snack like a child. You turned back to Sanji and walked up behind him , tapping his shoulder.

"Hey , 'Ji. Is there any way I could request a dessert ?" He turned his attention to you and smiled. "Of course , my lovely Reader." He seemed to just be finishing up Luffy's snack. He put some fish on a plate and gave it to the man in the corner.

"Thanks Sanji !" He cheered as he ran out excitedly. You chuckled and looked back to the blonde. He was already looking at you. "What dessert would you like , Reader ?" He walked over to the fridge and scanned for ingredients.

"I was thinking . . Maybe a St. Honoré cake ? I hope that's not too much to ask for." You rubbed the back of your neck and nervously smiled at him.

He stood there for a good moment , blinking. What the fuck was a St. Honoré cake ? He knew many desserts , but this was new to him. He's never heard of such a thing. Fuck , fuck. He didn't want to disappoint you. He turned and smiled nervously. "I'll have it out soon , dear. Can you clear the kitchen ? I'll bring it to you once it's ready ?" You smiled and nodded to him.

As he watched you walk out , he scrambled to grab his dessert books. He searched through them , attempting to find the cake in question. He couldn't find it. Anywhere. He ruffled his hair and thought for a moment. He didn't want to disappoint you. After all , he was in love with you. Seeing disappointment in your eyes would break him.

He took a deep breath and walked to his room. As he sat on his bed , he discarded his suit top. He picked up the transponder snail that was on his nightstand and began dialing a number. A number he knows all too well , Zeff.

He waited anxiously for the older blonde to pick up , shaking his leg vigorously. The sound of the snail saying 'cuh - lick' made him jump. "What do you want , brat ?" A gruff voice sounded over the snail. He sighed internally and began to speak.

"Zeff. I have a question about a dessert I've never heard about. Do you know anything about St. Honoré cake ? Reader wants me to make some for them and I don't want to disappoint them . ." He didn't mean to say the last part out loud. Once it registered that he said that , his face burned. He heard a hearty laugh from the other side of the snail.

"So , the brat has a little crush ? Yes i know what a St. Honoré cake is. Write these instructions down and make the best damn cake for them that you can." He instructed , smiling from his side. Sanji hurriedly took out a piece of paper from a notepad he had stored and wrote down everything Zeff said.

By the time everything had been written , Sanji thought back to you. "Brat. Make this cake and don't put a stain on my name ! Get out there and bag that pirate." Zeff laughed , causing the younger cook to be embarrassed as hell. "Shut up , old geezer." As he finished speaking , he hung up the snail.

Sanji breathed a sigh of relief as he finally knew what to do. Unbeknownst to you , he knew it was your birthday and would do everything in his power to make the best damn St. Honoré cake you've ever tasted.

He made his way back to the kitchen , a determined look on his face. He opened the door and closed it quickly , walking up to the fridge.

Eggs , water , flour , softened butter , granulated sugar , salt , choux paste , caramel sauce , chiboust cream , gelatin , milk , vanilla pods , and cornstarch. It was a lot , but he managed to find some of everything after a bit of time. He started by preparing the base for the cake by combining all the ingredients into a smooth dough. He kept the dough in the refrigerator and continued with the making of choux paste right as he finished.

"In the pan , heat water , butter , sugar , and a pinch of salt until boiling , at which point immediately incorporate the flour and stir , then remove from heat." Is what Zeff said. He did exactly as instructed right after he finished what he was doing initially.

"On a buttered baking tray , place the rolled - out dough for the base , a circle 20 cm (8 inches) in diameter and 3 mm (1 / 8 - inch) thick. Prick the dough base with a fork and with a beaten egg brush the edge." Is another instruction given. Sanji followed , but added his own style to the mix. As much as he loved Zeff , he needed to find his own rhythm.

He transfered a third of the choux paste into a piping bag with a smooth tip the width of a finger , then piped a border 3 mm (1 / 8 - inch) from the edge of the base. He continued by brushing the border with a beaten egg.

"With the remaining choux paste , using a piping bag and on a buttered tray , pipe 20 choux balls the size of walnuts. Bake the base and the choux balls in an oven preheated at 400°F for approximately 25 minutes. When done , leave to completely cool." Sanji spoke , reading directly from the note as he began to do exactly as was written. He sighed and rolled his sleeves up after he finished. He walked over to the sink and washed his hands in order to continue.

For the caramel sauce , he cooked the sugar and water until they reach 310°F. When is was still hot , he dipped the choux balls into the caramel , stuck them caramel side down on the border and made sure they touched each other.

The last thing he had to do was the Chiboust cream filling. In a separate bowl , he softened the gelatin in 5 tablespoons of cold water. He continued to beat egg yolks with caster sugar until white and thick and then add the cornstarch to the mix. He was starting to get the hang of the recipe since it was quite similar to some other delicious delights he has made.

As he finished up , he began to boil milk together with a vanilla pod , then removed the pod and poured the milk over the egg yolk mixture. He returned everything to a pan , bringing it to a boil while whisking the entire time. It was beginning to turn dark. He knew he didn't have a lot of time , so he had to hurry.

He incorporated the softened gelatin until it completely dissolved. He brought the cream once more to a boil and poured over the egg whites that he previously stiffly whisked. He folded them in the whites and cream with a metal spoon and left to cool until on the point of setting. He was nearly done , so he didn't have to let you down after all !

He filled the center of the cake with cream , sprinkled it with icing sugar and broiled shortly until it turned golden. As he finished , he placed it in the fridge to cool for a bit. He walked over to the sink and washed his hands again , cleaning the left overs off of them.

He let it cool for about 20 minutes and went to fetch you. "Reader , dear. I've finished your St. Honoré cake ! I hope you enjoy it !" He said as he brought you over to the cake on the counter. You smiled and took a bite out of the pastry.

"Wow , 'Ji ! This is one of the best cakes I've ever had ! You really are an awesome cook !" You complimented , chewing the rest of the delight in your mouth. His face lit up and he swooned.

"Only the best for the best !" His eyes turned into hearts and he swirled around the room. You laughed and continued eating the dish. Once he finished his love tornado he placed a gentle kiss to your head. Your face lit up and you stared at him with shock.

"Happy birthday , Reader."

Too Close: Nami x Reader

A / N: THIS IS ADORABLE. I LOVE THIS REQUESTTTTT. This is pre time skip , as the request says. I apologize for it being short. I've been extremely unmotivated recently but I hope this is up to your standards :).

For the night , you and the crew rested on the Going Merry while docked at a port Vivi told you guys about. It was cold and dark. Wind nipped at your skin as you stared at the gentle waves.

You sighed contently , a puff of cold air leaving your parted lips. You had changed out of the outfit your girlfriend bought for you and into something warmer for the night. You thought of all of the events that happened prior to you and your crew.

"God , it's hot." You spoke , tongue resting outside of your mouth as you leaned against your girlfriend. She laughed and brought you to a nearby store to cool off. "Now , let's find some clothes , sweetie."

You held the ruby jewel that was previously around your neck and smiled softly. You placed a gentle kiss on the gem and released it from your hand. It fell on your chest and rested there.

"Look ! This would like great on you , girlie !" The ginger said , holding a ruby necklace in front of you. She closed her right eye and stuck her tongue out , seeing how pretty the necklace looks with you and your outfit.

"Aww , you think so ?" You blushed at her words , walking over to her and placing your hand on her own. You kissed her forehead as the both of you smiled.

Despite all the things she did for you , your heart couldn't help but twitch uncomfortably. You felt left out. Ever since you guys came to Alabasta to help Vivi get her country back , you felt as if Nami had been paying attention to her. Too much for your liking. You weren't normally a jealous girlfriend , but something about their interactions scratched you the wrong way.

Your eyes trailed across the waves that were glimmering in the moonlight. They were beautiful. Why couldn't you get your mind off of Vivi and Nami ? Maybe it was the fear that she would leave you for her. No. She wouldn't do that , right ?

You sighed softly , another puff of cold air leaving your lips. You leaned against the railing of your shared ship and narrowed your eyes. Why did you feel like this ? Surely you could trust your own girlfriend , you thought. But something inside of you burned. The sight of them together hurt. You didn't know why , but it did.

"Reader ? What are you doing awake ?" A smooth voice called from behind you. You knew that voice from anywhere. It was the ginger herself , Nami. You smiled and turned your attention to her. The smile didn't seem genuine and Nami could tell.

Nami sighed and walked up to stand next to you. "It's late , love. You should probably go to sleep." She placed a hand on your shoulder and massaged it gently. She could tell something was off with you. The both of you had grown up together , after all. She knew you. You knew her. It wasn't hard to tell when something was wrong with the other.

She placed her other hand on yours and stared at you with sympathy in her eyes. "You know you can always tell me if something is bothering you , sugar." She spoke quietly , leaning closer your form. You took a deep breath and turned your attention to her.

"Why don't you go talk to your new little girlfriend , Vivi ?" You spoke without realizing. Your eyes rolled as you turned your attention back to the sea. As your words caught up in your feeble mind , your eyes widened. Did you really just fucking say that ?

You covered your mouth and looked away from your girlfriend , a look of shame crossing your shape face. Nami looked at you , confused. Once your words hit her , she let our a soft chuckle. "Are you jealous of Vivi ?" You shook your head and huffed. "Noo."

"You're totally jealous of Vivi." She smirked and laughed a bit louder. She threw her arm around you and pulled you into her. "You know I'll always love you , Reader. We've been through thick 'n thin together. I wouldn't replace you anyways." She reassured as you placed your head on her chest.

"Sweetie , I asked you to be my girlfriend for a reason. If I fell in love with someone I just met , I would be breaking the deal we made when we first got together. I wouldn't want to do that to you. You're everything to me." Nami caressed your face and kissed your forehead.

Though it may not seem like it , Nami truly treasured you. You were her everything. You 2 went through hell and back together with Arlong and Bellemere. You saw the worst and the best in one another. She wouldn't trade you for the world , and she now realized she had to help you see that. Her brown eyes softened at your saddened face and she spoke again.

"I won't replace you , honey. We will see the world together."

"Promise ?" You asked as tears began to prick in the corner of your color eyes. She kissed your tears away and widened her smile at your pretty face. She always adored how you looked , even when you cried. Even if you thought you were an ugly crier , she thought you were beautiful. No matter what.

"I promise."

Okay so I have another cute zoro idea so hear me out reader has a crush on zoro but doesn’t think they are his type because their strength lies in more smarts rather then physical strength like let’s say they have a devil fruit power the allows them to avoid fights like maybe they can’t physically be hit because the can pass through any solid object so they never really focused on physical strength but since zoro is so obsessed with getting stronger they think oh he likes strong people aka people not like me little does reader know!! You and Zoro had a strange dynamic. You were seen as best friends , but there always seemed to be something deeper down that nobody could put a finger on. You both were strong , but you never fought. You hated combat , but he didn't. You both seemed to be opposites , and still. You both were close.

You were more of a utility than a fighter. You would help with defense , strategy , and escape. You were the Strategist of the Strawhat Pirates , after all. People were unable to hit you , haki or not. To the crew , you were the brain and he was the brawn.

You both were almost never seen without one another , so one was bound to fall for the other. That just so happened to be you. You fell , and hard for that matter. You were infatuated with him , which everyone but him noticed.

However , you never tried to pursue him. In your eyes , he was strong as hell. He needed someone as strong as him , someone willing to fight. Someone who wouldn't drown the second they hit water , someone who could wield a sword as skillfully as him. You hated fights but he enjoyed them , so why would he like you ? That's what you told yourself.

He was strong and enjoyed being around people as strong as himself. It made you wonder , why did he hang around you ? You weren't strong. You hated combat. You were just a strategist , not a combat specialist. Because of this thought process , you never made an attempt to court him.

You usually talked about your issues with some souls that rested in your room. One of them being the soul of your past on sibling. On this day , you were ranting to her about how you felt.

"SisterName , he's strong. He loves a challenge ! He's one of the monster trio , and I'm not. I'm a strategist , Sistername. Why would he want someone as weak as me ?" Your face deflated as you fell into your bed. The color haired woman stood beside your bed and sighed.

"You know that's not true , Reader. Why would he be around you if he only liked strong people ?" She smiled softly and sat on the edge of your bed. Though she was there , no pressure was felt on your mattress. Not even a wrinkle was left in the place she resided in.

You groaned loudly and phased through your bed so that you were now resting on the ground below it. You whined , loud enough for her to hear. She laughed and rolled her eyes. "You're strong , Reader. You're strong in your own way. Don't forget that." She stood up from her place and sat down in front of where she once was. "Strength doesn't only lie within combat." She continued , laying on the ground to see you.

You sighed again and turned towards your sister. Your eyes met her glossed over white ones. You smiled gently and crawled out from under your bed. "Thank you , SisterName." You would've hugged her if you were able to touch her. You sat in front of her and watched as she nodded her head.

"Go talk to him , Reader. For now , I've got somewhere else to be. I'll be back. Love you , Reader. You know I'll always be here for you if you need anything." Her transparent hand patted your head , though you couldn't feel it. "Love you too , SisterName. Have fun." You watched as her ghostly form disappeared.

You took a deep breath and took a step outside of your dark room. You closed the door and started your long walk to the deck , thinking of the things your sister said to you as your feet slapped against the hard planks of the ground.

After what seems to be like forever , you reached the deck. Your eyes scanned the area in an attempt to find the green haired swordsman , only to be met with nothing. "Mosshead is in the crows nest." You heard from behind you. You turned around and saw a tuff of blonde hair. Sanji. You smiled kindly at the chef and nodded your head. "Thank you , Sanji." As the words left your lips , you began your walk to where Zoro was training.

Technically , you could've just floated up there and phased through the wall but you had some things to think about. What were you going to say ? How would you address your thoughts ? You were anxious , riddled with worry even. You took a deep breath as you approached the wooden door. You knocked twice then phased through the door.

The man in question was currently squatting with a weight that was half the size of the room. You knew he was strong , but DAMN. You stared at it , bewildered. Remembering what you came in for , you shook your head. "Oh. Hey , Reader." He spoke calmly , putting his weight down. It seems he just finished one of his sets.

He picked up a towel , throwing it around his neck as he picked up the bottle of water he brought with him. "Hey , Zoro. I have something to talk to you about." You spoke , a serious tone laced within your words. Zoro raised an eyebrow as he continued chugging his water. He leaned against the wall and placed his , now empty , water bottle on the ground. "Spit it out , Ghosty."

Your heart swelled a bit at the nickname , but you chose to ignore it for a bit. You took a deep breath and crossed your arms. "I'm . . I'm . . Iminlovewithyoubutiknowyoulikestrongpeoplesoiknowyouwontlikemeback." You spoke quickly , powers reacting to your anxiety. As you rambled and hid your reddening face , your body lifted from the ground and began to float around the room.

Zoro stared for a moment and laughed. "What ? Gonna need you to repeat that." You uncovered your face and gently placed yourself in front of him. "I'm in love with . . You . . But , uhm. I know you . . . Like strong people , so you don't have to say anything back." Your eyes closed tightly as you awaited his response , expecting harsh words to leave his lips. However , they didn't.

"As much as I like to fight , I don't JUST like strong people. You're tough , Reader. You can handle your own and I . . . love that about . . Uhm , you." His face was now reddening as he looked away from your color colored eyes. Your face lit up more and you turned your head.

"Just be honest , Zoro . . How do you feel about me ?" You spoke , a hint of sadness lacing your voice. His eyes turned to your form and softened. He sighed and sat on the ground.

"Fuck. I don't know how to express any feelings for you. But shit , Reader. You make my heart do weird things and -" He stopped and took a deep breath. "What I want to say is , I feel . . The same way." The last bit was spoken quietly , but you heard it. Your eyes lightened up as you ran up to him.

You threw your smaller arms around his muscular frame and smiled. "I'm glad , Zoro. Let's try not to keep things a secret again , especially feelings." You kissed his cheek and floated away from him.

He laughed and smirked at your words. "Deal."

You were quite a powerful member of the Strawhat Pirates. You were a formidable opponent when it came to archery , which is why you usually stayed behind with Usopp. You 2 fought very well together , but you hardly ever spoke to him.

You barely spoke to anyone. You liked quiet areas , so you would hang out with Robin while she read or with Sanji in the kitchen. You didn't mind Luffy's loud personality , but you did need a break often. Despite this , you were brave and headstrong.

This personality didn't stop , even when your crew allied with the Heart Pirates and the Kid Pirates. You took a particular interest towards the red haired captain , Eustass Kid.

Even if he was loud , he was interesting. Something about how he acted made you blush , but you would NEVER admit that. Especially not to him.

On this particular day , it was quite sunny and beautiful. Maybe it was the calm before the storm , or maybe it was a reward for everyone's hard work on Wano by far. The sun shined down line a spotlight , warming the area around your crew like you guys were the stars of the show.

The Strawhat allies were all aboard the Sunny to reconsider some plans they had made. Surprisingly , even the hot - headed captain of the Kid Pirates showed up. It was quite obvious by his yelling in the charting room compared to Law's calm words.

While the captain's spoke in private , the rest of their crews relaxed. You were now sitting next to Robin , reading a book she recommended you. Robin had to admit , you were a relaxing break from the other rowdy men on the crew. You brought silence , but understanding. Compared to the hard headed Swordsman , the flirtatious cook , the skeleton that wanted to see every woman's panties , the perverted cyborg , the loud doctor and sniper , you were basically the opposite of them. She liked that about you.

Because of this , the 2 of you were quite close to one another. Robin was also very observant , so she had a good eye for your true personality. You spoke to her , but as quietly as a mouse. She knew not to let your silent nature and quiet voice cover over the fact you're still a man. She's heard some of the bombastic shit you've said and she still laughs about it.

She knows people underestimate you because of it. They think you're shy. In reality , you're extremely strong and get the upper hand from cocky enemies that way.

By the time you and Robin finished a few chapters and began discussing things about the book , the captains had finished their meeting. You heard the laughing of your captain , the calm steps of the surgeon , and the loud stomping of the metal head.

You placed a book mark in your book and gently placed it down next to the dark haired woman. She cooked an eyebrow but said nothing more. You walked down the steps to them and waved. "Reader !!" Your captain shouted , wrapping his arms around you.

You smiled nervously and patted his back. Unbeknownst to you , amber eyes were trained on both of you. He walked away quickly into the kitchen. You let go of your childish captain and walked into the kitchen behind him.

Around this time , you make coffee / hot chocolate. Now , that's what you were doing. You heard some movement behind you and noticed Kid. You waved to him with a smile. He rolled his eyes and continued tinkering with whatever he was making.

"Why the fuck are ya so quiet ? How are ye gonna be a fuckin' pirate if yer shy ??" He spoke bluntly , amber eyes trained directly into the back of your head.

"Can't give a good blow job with a bad throat." You joked , a slight laugh leaving your lips. The only sound , aside from the water bubbling , that you could hear was angry / flustered blabbering.

"So yer just fuckin' weird ?" He was now standing directly behind you. He watched as you made your drink. You said nothing in return and just shrugged.

"Whats yer real reason , lil man ?" He crossed his flesh arm and metallic arm. "Little man ? That's quite rude. I'm older than you , Eustass Kid." You brushed past his shoulder to grab the mug you planned to use. You winked at him and smiled joyfully.

The younger male grabbed you by your hip and pushed you out of the way. "Shut the fuck up , shy boy." He smirked at you , assuming you were a bit angry. To his bewilderment , you weren't. You just smiled and continued making your drink.

"I just don't enjoy talking as much as the rest of the crew , if you want the truth. Hurts my throat and burns my braincells." The last part was half joking and half not. Your crew irritated you at some times , but they were still your family.

Despite how you normally don't speak , you and Kid talked for quite a while in the kitchen. It was mostly you talking and asking questions while he tinkered with some project. You enjoyed talking to the red haired man. Maybe you snd the hothead should speak more , you thought.

A charmer. One you haven't seen in years , he was similar to him. You didn't know anyone like him until him and Luffy. How surprising. That might've been why you were so drawn to him.

Soon , night fell. Sanji managed to awaken from whatever happened to him and made all of you some food. Your eyes trailed over to Luffy and Hancock , a twinge of jealousy hidden behind your gaze.

It was obvious she was love with him. She was literally all over him ! But . . You couldn't help but think back to yourself. In your eyes , you were nothing compared to her. She was skinny , powerful , and had beautiful blue eyes. Her hair was long and beautiful , the black complimenting her eyes. Her form was also absolutely perfect. She had curves in all the right places and her outfit hugged them just right.

You handed your food back yo the blonde haired cook , who raised an eyebrow at you. "Sorry , Sanji. I'm not hungry. You can give it to Luffy , if you want." Before he could respond , you walked away.

You didn't know where you were going until you noticed that you ended up in your room. You sighed and gently closed the door behind you , falling onto it. Your eyes pricked with tears as you began to cry , cry about how you were nothing but a bug in your eyes.

A knock on the door caught your attention. It was loud and harsh. You knew who it was just from the sound alone. Luffy. You sat up and wiped your eyes with the tissues by your bedside. "Come in." Your hoarse voice called out , a reminder of what you were once upset about.

The man walked in and frowed. "Why aren't you out there with us , Reader ?" He asked as he walked over to your bed. He sat in front of you and observed how you looked. Your hair was a mess , your eyes were red and puffy , and your cheeks were stained with fresh tears.

He sighed and put his arms around you. He knew. He may seem stupid , but he was very observant. Especially with you. You said nothing and just cried onto his shoulder.

"Look , Reader. I don't see her like that ! I promised you that I would make you the queen of the Pirates so you could be by my side. I'm not gonna let her take your place." Though his words seemed strange , they warmed your heart up immensely.

"Thank you , Luffy." You kissed his cheek and wiped your eyes. "Cmon ! I want some more meat !" He held his hand out for you to take. You laughed and placed your hand in his. He laughed and dragged you out of your room , away from your moping.

Akainu wasn't one to speak about his personal life. Rather it be because he wanted to be respected or because he wanted to protect his family. The only person that means something to him. You were a marine. A powerful one , might I add. A vice admiral that is stationed far from Marineford. You were needed far and wide. Your sense of justice rivaled Akainu's. It was extremely obvious that you 2 were complete opposites.

Akainu , the brute. The man who could care less who you are. He wants to eliminate all Pirates and keep the World Government's control on its people. He wasn't one to share his feelings or personal life either. He was one who had a presence that demanded respect.

And you , the sweetheart. A woman who cared for all. Someone who wanted to make sure the punishment fit the crime. Your peers respected you for how you treated others. You were always gentle to even the nastiest of criminals. The way you helped bugs out of your office while cooing quietly always made Akainu's heart flutter.

Nobody knew of the relationship between the 2 of you , but they did assume something was happening. Perhaps business , but nobody knew for sure. They weren't complaining , however. Your body was a sight to behold for all of them.

Though your personality captivated most , your body was a leading factor to the love the marines have for you. The way your uniform hugs your curves , the way you speak , the adorable tone in your voice , your beautiful eyes , etc. It drove people mad.

Today was the day that your mission was completed. You were able to go visit your husband ! Finally ! It had been a few weeks and you hadn't been able to call him on the snail. You were worried about him.

It took a few hours , but you did finish. By the time you had put the pastries in a large cake box , your ship had neared Marineford.

"Vice Admiral Reader ! We are near docking. We are waiting for further instruction." 2 men walked in and saluted you. You turned your attention to them and smiled softly.

"Thank you , Cadets. I appreciate it ! Please give me a moment. I'll come out as soon as I'm finished." You replied , patting their heads softly.

"Ma'am !" Their faces lit up , smiles gracing their tan faces. They turned away from your short form and walked out , closing the door behind them. You sighed contently and walked back over to finish your work.

You placed a small note card with a heart on it onto the top with a piece of tape holding it there. You turned towards the door , coat flinging behind you as you did so. You walked out of the room and smiled at your comrades.

"Plan to dock at Dock 3C , please." You gently ordered , placing your hand on the shoulder of the Helmsman. He blushed and nodded quickly.

"Yes ma'am !" You heard your crew shout. You giggled and sat on the railing. "Is there anything I can do to help ?" You asked your assistant , making his head cock in your direction.

"No , ma'am. We just need to raise the sails and drop the anchor." He turned towards the people at the sails and watched as they hurriedly rolled the sails up. You watched them tie them to the top and walk back down to the deck.

"Awesome job ! Thank you !" You patted their heads and turned to the people on the left. They turned back to you and saluted.

"The anchor has been dropped , Vice Admiral !" They shouted in unison. You nodded and laughed loudly. You moved your coat around your shoulders as you realized where you were now.

Your face lit up and you ran into the kitchen to grab your baked goods. As soon as they were settled nicely into the pit of your arm , you jumped off the ship. "Vice Admiral , are you okay ?!" You heard some of your crew shout. You turned to them and flashed them a bright smile with a thumbs up.

You ran towards the large building with the treats in your arms. You stopped at the front entrance and quickly pulled your ID out. You showed it to the transponder snail and waited until the door propped open. Once it did , you darted inside.

As you began running towards a certain office , you would stop and acknowledge the people greeting you. Because of this , it took you quite a bit longer to get to your husband. To make sure you were okay , a few marines followed behind you.

You approached the door of the Fleet Admiral and knocked. 1 short knock , 1 long knock , 2 short knocks. That was your secret knock between you and Akainu so he knew it was you.

The door opened and you were greeted to your large husband. He smiled softly and invited you in. "Hey ! I made some sweets !!" You called as you ran to his desk to place them down.

"I missed you. I haven't seen you in weeks !" You ran back up to your husband and wrapped your arms around his neck. You kissed his cheek and laughed heartily.

Unbeknownst to both of you , the marines that followed you did not close the door behind you like you assumed. When your lips locked , their jaws dropped to the floor. The sound of their gasps broke you 2 out of your loving daze.

You pushed away from him and stared at them. "How . . How long have you been standing there ?" You asked them with a shaky voice. Guilt starting piling up in your gut as you thought of your husband and his image. You knew he would be PISSED.

"Reader is gettin' it on with the FLEET ADMIRAL ?!" The tallest one shouted. It was what all 5 of them were thinking but were too scared to say. Akainu growled and glared at them , causing them to shrink. He went to speak but you stopped him.

"It's okay , hun. There's no need to hide it now." If your smile and words weren't so kind , he would've been furious. "Fine." He spoke calmly , crossing his arms over his large chest.

"We have been married for 25 years." Sakazuki spoke , turning his eyes to your shorter form. You smiled and nodded. You lifted your right hand and showed them the beautiful diamond ring on your ring finger.

"Our anniversary is tomorrow , which is why I tried to get home faster." You gave a closed eye smile and giggled softly.

"WHATTTT ?!!!" They shouted , staring at the 2 of you. How could a brute like him score a beauty like you ? They didn't understand but they didn't say anything.

"Ohhh ? ~ Is this a baadd time ? ~" Called a voice from behind the men. The man was none other than the light Admiral himself , Kizaru. The younger marines turned in horror and nearly shrieked.

"Quite , Borsalino." Akainu snapped , narrowing his eyes at the yellow suited man. He just laughed and turned his head. "Didn't know you scored someone likeee Reader. ~ Good for youu . . ~" He spoke as he walked away from the group.

The marines turned back to the 2 of you and nervously laughed. "So uhm . . You aren't . . Single ?" One of his friends slapped the shit out of his head. You laughed and fell onto the ground.

Akainu's face turned red from frustration and he stomped over to the marines. "Get. Out." He spoke harshly , causing the smaller men to squeal and run away from the door.

"Aww , Hun. Don't worry too much. I'm sure they won't bother you about it."

The news literally got out the next day.

Sent to Heaven: Shanks x Strawhat!Reader

Important Info: The reader is the mixologist of the Strawhats. This story happens pre - timeskip , precisely a bit after the events at Sabaody. Reader was sent to an island that is famous for its alcohol and such , which is where they meet Shanks

A / N: sorry this took so long !! If yall want me to continue this , lmk.

You had been in the air for days. Way too long , if you had to give your own opinion. The last thing you remembered was the fight at the Sabaody Archipelago. Speaking of , you wondered if the rest of your crew was okay.

You were knocked unconscious by Kuma. He was the reason you were sent flying. You didn't know where you were going , or if you were even going to survive. You were starving , dehydrated , and exhausted. You were even still very , very injured. Blood coated the bottom of the paw bubble you resided in.

As if a miracle was placed upon you , an island came into sight. The bubble started decending towards the island , so you prepared yourself for the impact. Your little trap smashed into the ground and took the blunt of the blow. Though , the wind was still knocked out of your lungs.

You started coughing violently as you rolled over and spit blood on the cold , hard ground. "Fuckin' . . ." You trailed off , grumbling under your breath. You struggled to get yourself to your scraped knees.

While you struggled , a small crowd formed around you. People whispered and stared at your injured form. Your eyes trailed over to a woman and a child. The woman wore nurse scrubs and had a bag on her arm. You sighed and tried to speak. Instead of words , your throat burned from the blood from previous wounds.

Despite the pain , you croaked out a plea for help. "Please , I need a boat. I need to go back to Sabaody." You spoke , gritting your teeth. The woman turned from you and the child started crying.

After a few minutes , you started to lose hope. Nobody was going to help you or give you a boat. Suddenly , a smooth voice cut through the thick tension between you and the residents. "Why would you need to go there ?" The voice belonged to a male. You wished that you could lift your head to see him , but you fell into unconsciousness from the mass loss of blood.

". . . kin' up." Was the first thing you heard as your eyes slowly opened. You took a moment to stare at the blank ceiling in an attempt to figure out where you were. Your heavy eyelids , after a bit of force , stayed open.

By the feeling of the place , you were on a ship. Were they taking you to Sabaody ? You shot up , but you were quickly shocked with the amount of pain in your body. It felt like a thousand pans had rained upon your head and now it was pounding violently. You didn't know how you didn't realize the pain towards the front of your head , but you sure did now. Instead of groaning about it , you chose to ignore it.

You looked down and noticed that you had been changed. Your previous wounds were either stitched up and covered , or just covered. Your chest was wrapped in a bandage since the biggest wound was across there , and your broken ankle was suspended in the air. You blinked and noticed a tall , blonde haired male in the corner.

"So , you're awake." He spoke , a smirk on his face. "My name is Hongo. You were pretty beatin' up back there , mind tellin' me what happened ?" He asked as he sat down on the chair next to your bed.

Your mouth opened and shut like a fish out of water. Your throat burned as if there were needles stabbed into it. Despite this , you forced yourself to speak. "Fight on Sabaody. I have to get . . get back to my crew." You croaked in a hoarse voice. You flinched as you felt him take off the bandages from your arm.

"Relax , I'm just changing your bandages. You were out for a while." He said smoothly as he reached for the roll on the desk next to you. You watched him carefully . . Until you realized what he said.

Your eyes widened , mouth widening along with them. "A while ?? How long was a while ??" You panicked. God damnit , what if they were fighting off people at Sabaody while waiting for you ?!! You had to get there.

He thought for a moment. Though in thought , he didn't stop changing your bloodied wrap. "About 2 weeks. You had lost a lot of blood. You have a serious wound on your chest. If it had cut any deeper , you would have been dead. It's actually a miracle that you survived losing all of that blood." He informed smoothly , scrunching his nose as he finished off the wrap.

"2 weeks ??! Fuck , fuck , fuck. I've got to get back to Luffy." You began rambling about things you didn't even know , but Hongo was caught on one detail.

"Hold on a second ! Did you say Luffy ? As in Monkey D. Luffy ?" He asked , a smile now present on his pale face.

You sighed and nodded , attempting to relax. He laughed and stood up. "Our captain is good buds with Luffy ! Let me go get you some tea for your throat and fetch him for ya." He winked and walked out of the dimly lit office. You blinked and stared at the ajar door. Before you tried to stand , you heard him yell to you. "Don't leave the bed ! If you do , your ankle will pop back out of place and you won't be able to use it again !"

You flinched and stopped taking the sheets off of your battered body. You groaned and rolled to your side , though it was painful. You decided to take a little nap while waiting. A little shut eye couldn't hurt.

You woke up to some unfamiliar voices. As if on instinct , you shot up , wide eyed , and stared at all of them. They were surprised that you woke up so fast , but they didn't say anything about it. "So , you're on Luffy's crew ?" You heard from your side. You turned your eyes to the man and observed him. He had red hair , brown eyes , and a stubble. You had to admit that he was quite attractive.

"Yeah. I'm the mixologist of his crew." You said bluntly as you wiped the sweat from off of your forehead. "Then you might wanna see this." Another male said from behind the red haired man. He had gray hair and a cigarette in his mouth. He placed a newspaper in front of you. 2 of them , actually. One was from . . The war ? And the other was what Luffy did after.

You looked at the 1st one and skimmed over it. You turned to see your captain , seemingly in a state of shock and depression. Your eyes widened as you saw the big bold letters that read: "Fire Fist Ace , Executed" or something along those lines. You dropped the paper and covered your mouth.

"Take me to him. Please , I need to be there for him. He needs someone to be by his side during this time." You demanded after a small bit of recovery. Beck shook his head and pointed to the other paper. You picked it up and saw your captain again. He seemed to be alive and well , but you noticed something on his arm.

You knew what it meant. Your anxiety faded as you made the realization. You sighed softly and smiled. "Nevermind. Thank you for showing me these." You bowed your head a bit and struggled to get up.

"If you wouldn't mind me asking , what island are we docked at ?" You asked while staring at the men in front of you. "Bebida Gallows. It's an island famous for its alcohol. I'm sure you can guess why we're here." Benn answered calmly , crossing his arms and leaning against the wall behind him.

You looked between the two of them and decided to introduce yourself. "My name is Reader. I'd like to request to fight along side you for a while. I want to train and get stronger so I can protect my captain. He does so much for us . . I have to return the favor. I won't let what happened at Sabaody happen EVER again." You declared with a fierce look flares up in you [color] colored eyes. It seems the others noticed.

"Protectin' Luffy , eh ? I can't say no to that. He needs a nice crew if he's going to be the king of the pirates." The red haired captain laughed. You knew him from somewhere , but you couldn't put your finger on it. "I'm Shanks. This 'ere is Beckman." Shanks introduced. "And this 'ere is Hongo. He was the one that took care o' ya." He put his arm around his first mate and smiled widely.

"Alright. Thank you for being able to train me." You bowed your head once more and caused the other men in the room to laugh.

It had been a year since you've been training with the Red Haired Pirates. You stayed on the island while they would leave , then come back. You honed any skills they taught you , while also updating your alcohol mixes. You learned a lot from those Pirates and even the people of the island.

Turns out , Shanks owns this bit of land. He has his flag flying high , protecting the people. You found it charming. You also noticed that during your training sessions , you've developed feelings for him. Rather it be because of how he was so gentle with you , his charisma , his kindness , or how he flirted with you. It all mixed together , like a drink.

Anytime you stirred one of your new drinks , you would think of him. The feeling of the stirring I'd very similar to how his presence makes your stomach feel.

Along with him , your crewmates made their way into your mind. Any time you had free , you would make their favorite drinks.

Milk Punch Cocktail for Luffy. You made it with milk , the spirit , sugar , and vanilla extract. Luffy always asked for extra vanilla extract , so you complied.

A large , Toji Moon for Zoro. Its base is made with Benedictine , yuzu and lemon juices , red bean syrup , and yuzu marmelade , which all gets topped with a frothy mix of nigori sake and egg white that's been shaken until foamy , plus a dusting of grated nutmeg. This was one of your harder sake mixes to make , but Zoro seemed to love it.

A Tangerine Dream for Nami. It's made of ginger liqueur , tangerine , tangerine juice , sugar , and lemon juice. It tasted more like a tangerine drink than an alcoholic one , which may be why Nami enjoyed it so much.

Apple Pie on Rocks for Usopp. It's made of vanilla vodka , fireball whiskey , apple juice , apple cider , carmel apple syrup , and champagne. You knew he had one of the higher tolerances of the crew , so this was something you suggested for him. Once he tried it , he LOVED it.

A Hot Ted Toddy for Sanji. It's made of honey , lemon , dark rum , cognac , black tea , and cloves. You tried this drink because it includes black tea , Sanji's favorite drink. Once he tried it , he fell in love with it.

There were so many more , but these are the first few you learned. They came to you naturally , and you found yourself making them unconsciously. You even made them for the Red Haired Pirates , who enjoyed them a lot.

It had been 2 years. 2 long , grueling years. You've learned so much since then. What haki was , what the government does , and so much more. One of those things was how you were attracted to red heads.

You trained with the Red Haired pirates. You ended up even developing a fondness for their captain. He was just so giddy and reminded you so , so much of your own captain.

That's why departing hurt you and him so much. You arrived on Sabaody a few days earlier than everyone else because Shanks and his crew didn't want to be seen by yours.

You knew you couldn't tell Shanks how you felt. Neither of you had the time to be in love , especially with this generation. You were ready to meet him in the New World , however. You 2 would have to be patient.

As Luffy returns the Straw Hat , you will get to finally be with the man you fell in love with under 2 years. The man who trained you , the man who showed you what the world was truly like. You'd never forget him.

It was a bright day , a day of relaxation. Everyone on the Sunny took this opportunity to take a break and enjoy themselves. Rather it be playing tag on the deck , listening to Brook play some beautiful tunes , or even just reading / tending to the garden. Everyone was being themselves and having fun. It was quite the break from the massive battles they've had recently.

You sat next to Nami , who was tending to her tangerines. Behind you , Robin sat reading her book. You and Nami had been chatting happily for what felt like hours. Robin , though she was reading , listened and observed everything to two of you were saying. She was ever observant , even if she was on break.

"Hey , I'll be back. I'm gonna go see if Sanji would mind making me something to drink." You said , excusing yourself from the 2 women. They nodded and waved to you as your form retreated from their vision.

As you jumped down to the kitchen , you noticed the two who normally fight . . . Well , fighting. The blonde haired cook seemed to be enraged about something while the moss headed swordsman just sarcastically commented back and basically brushed off the cook's complaints.

That swordsman. The very one that lacks a sense of direction in a literal and figurative sense. You felt your heart flutter as your eyes trailed to him. You shook your head and brushed pass them to get into the kitchen.

Though you didn't know it , Zoro's eyes followed you as the door shut behind your body. You walked over to the fridge and stared at all of your selections. As you sighed and closed the fridge , the door to the kitchen reopened. You glanced over to see who was coming in and noticed the cook. Sanji had apparently stopped arguing with Zoro and came to attend to your needs.

"What would you like , Reader ?" He asked with a smile on his face. Even if it was near dinner time , it was clear he didn't mind tending to his crewmates' needs. You smiled back at him and leaned against the counter.

"Are you able to make a drink for me ? I'm not sure exactly what I want yet. Or maybe a snack , if that's not too much to ask for." You trailed off as your mind trailed back to its thoughts.

"Of course. How about a vol - au - vent ?" He asked as he he began to take out the pastry from a sealed container. "I made some earlier for Nami and Robin , but they told me they weren't hungry." He shrugged and placed it on the counter for you.

"Thank you , Sanji." You bowed your head lightly and took one of the treats from the tray. You resealed the container and walked out of the kitchen.

Somewhere in the time that you had been inside , your ship had landed on an island. You looked at the gorgeous tree filled island in awe. It was lush with fresh vegetation and had many beautiful flowers. You've seen many different islands in the New World , but this had to be one of the nicer ones.

"Alright. I want Chopper , Usopp , and . . sadly . . . Luffy . . To go into town. Robin , I'd like you to go with them. We need you 4 to pick up some herbs for me and Chopper. Sanji , I want you and Brook to go stock up on food supplies. And Franky , you go get materials to repair the ship and for whatever else." Nami directed , pointing those people in the directions they were supposed to go. As she spoke , the groups filed out so they could get their job done as quickly as possible. It was hard to tell if it was because they wanted to go back to the sea or if they didn't wanna see Nami angry. Most likely the latter , you thought.

"What about me and Zoro ?" You questioned as you took a final bite of the tasty hollow treat Sanji had made. "I want you 2 to watch the ship. I'm going onto the island to chart it." She responded , picking up some paper and pens. Before either of you could say anything , she walked off of the ship.

You stood there , staring at the place the ginger once was. You blinked and turned your attention to Zoro , who seemed to be in the same boat as you. You wouldn't admit it , but you were happy to be alone with him.

You stood there , collecting your thoughts. While you stood like a statue , the Swordsman went off to work out. You shook your head violently and whipped your head around to find him. There he was , in all his muscular glory , at the end of the ship with a comically large weight in his hands. He had his coat discarded and he was thrusting the weight forwards and back onto his shoulder in a slicing like motion.

You couldn't help but stare. Everything about how he just so calmly lifted what you assumed to be over 400ibs surprised you. Instead of staring , you decided to go into the crows nest to keep a lookout for any enemies or your crewmates.

A few hours had passed by without either of you speaking to one another. The ship was in a comfortable silence , engulfing the both of you as you did separate things. You were bored sitting by yourself , if you were being honest. You were often fidgety and lost in thought instead of looking out. Of course , observation haki helped out with sensing living things but you didn't use it often.

Just as you were about to take a nap , you noticed a bag bobbing around the Sunny. You narrowed your eyes to see who it was and didn't see anyone. That was until you saw Luffy and Robin. You assumed it was either Chopper or Usopp. You smiled softly and walked down from your previous place.

You watched as the lump ran up to you. "Reader ! I got you something ! I thought it was your favorite color." The little reindeer doctor said excitedly as he ran up to you. He handed you a bag that was pink. Not your favorite color , but you liked his thought.

"I appreciate your gesture , Chopper. My favorite color isn't pink , though." You responded , putting the bag on your right side. You could definitely put your weapons and stuff in it. "Oh ! What's your favorite color then ?" He tilted his head with an adorable look on his face.

"Green , actually. I'd say a minty - moss green ? It's just really nice , in my opinion." You explained with a smile on your [shape] face. You heard a noise of surprise behind you and you turned. You didn't expect to have your [color] colored eyes meet with one brown one. Your face lit up.

"Greenisaprettycolorididntmeanitlikethat !" You sputtered out , hiding your face from his confusing stare. You couldn't tell if he was mad at you , if you were being honest.

"Green is a nice color , isn't it ?" Zoro mocked , laughing heartily. You were EXTREMELY embarrassed. Though , you didn't notice the red on his cheeks as well.

Chopper and Usopp laughed at your misery. They were even on the floor , about dying at that point. "I just didn't expect you to be into that color of green." He shrugged and smiled smugly at you. He turned and walked away from the 3 of you , cheeks reddening further.

Though you didn't know it , your words stuck in his head. It repeated like a broken record. He didn't understand why , but he liked the thought of it. Maybe his feelings for you grew , but he didn't know that. Maybe he should talk to Robin or Chopper about it. For now , he would sit and think about you. Even at night.
