distant hopes
as the moon is on duty, she stood by it, with a warm mug of tea, under a cold night breeze kissing her cheeks, earthly smell under the stars sounds completed. she asks the moon how come it not bring the sun. she queried the moon, why stars chose her side what of sun? isn't the sun they should be grateful of? how come his fear is divine. under the starry nights, same mug other day, she mentioned her agony. they convey love is immense, I doubt mine, only for them to bleed. the moon replied, sun asked her to listen this soul for his divinity cost nothing when he's with her. my love is overpoured once it's off to boundaries, for how mercilessly they would crush it in seconds marked by centuries. your love, my child, is purely weapon, it's you who chose it to sell or keep. my love you are what they say is greatest, firm as sun bounded to cease emotions, once it's night you're the moon for the grieving souls, replicate stars with your existence.

Kabhi wou roshan aankhein
kabhi unn chashmo me khoon ki bahaar
badi ajeeb h ye zindagi,
kabhi logo k jaane se gum
Aur logo k rehte hue ghutan,
kabhi jhoot ko na sehna
kabhi sach ko na sun pana
kabhi mazboot bndhe rehna
Kabhi alfaaz se bikhar jana
Kabhi uss dil me bikhre phool
Kabhi unn phoolon k neeche kabrein

"you say you love rain
but you use your umbrella
you say you love the moon
but you can't leave your phone
you say you like the sun
but you look out a shadow spot
you say you like the sky
but you linger out in a fair weather
You say you love the wind
but you terminate your windows
This is why I m afraid
when you say you love me"

In a world obsessed with the physical beauty, remember it's the purity of the soul that matters. People with such souls are more elegant and beautiful than those adorned with the finest designer wear and jewellery. Cherish such people cuz they're the true expression of beauty.
