⬤When you had first meet xiao he was fairly thinn his hair was to his shoulders and had large eyes his stance was awkward and shaky
⬤he stood behind zhongli as he held his leg "Xiao" Morax said softly he looked up to the tall man "it's okay y/n is one of the most dearest people iv ever meet" he patted his head
⬤you get on one knee and reach one hand out to him as Xiao peaks out at you he appears nervous and confused "if your uncomfortable or scared Xiao it's okay you don't have to" morax says
⬤Xiao looks up at morax his voice soothing his nerves a little then he looks back at you and reaches his hand out, as your finger tips meet he tenses up a little but decides to step further
⬤he grabs your finger as he slowly steps closer until he's in your embrace "y/n"
⬤after that you saw Xiao a lot more and with that he began to trust you more and more untill you became a second parent to him

♥︎ALL OF YOU CUDDLE SO MUCH ejdheudaudw Xiao always in the middle between you and Morax he just loves it so much it makes him feel so protected and loved
⬤You lay atop of Morax's arm side ways as you lay your hand on his chest loving incaging is that a word? (´༎ຶ ͜ʖ ༎ຶ `)♡ Xiao in between you and Morax as he peacefully sleeps
♥︎he definitely has separation issues so you and Morax help him with that as best as you both can and they get a lot better overtime
⬤you rock side to side as you tightly hold a crying and trembling Xiao "mommy/daddy I'm sorry please don't leave me I'm sorry I was bad" he leats out a long cry "Xiao baby I promise I'll be back I swear you did nothing wrong I love you so much"
♥︎Xiao has a lot of nightmares at first he's ashamed and dosent want to tell anyone but as he opens up more he tells you and Morax and you both comfort him
⬤"y/n do you hear that" "huh?????" You sit up and say sleeply as you rub your eyes "Xiao love are you okay" morax heads to Xiao room and you decide to follow as you get closer you can hear whimpering and see Xiao hiding under his covers "Xiao love what's the matter" Morax steps closer and pulls out "Father mommy/daddy" Xiao cries out he barries his face into Morax's chest "Did you have a nightmare my love" Xiao nodes and holds onto him closer. you and morax spend some time comforting Xiao intill you and Xiao fall asleep and morax decides it's time to join.
♥︎Absolutely HATES sharing both of you like if he sees any of you so much as interact with another child he's jealous

♥︎ canonically only likes almond tofu but would shove food down his throat in hops not to taste it if you made it. Unless it's dumplings anything but Dumplings
⬤you watch as poor Xiao tries to shove the meal you had made for him down his throat with a disgusted look on his face, "I'm sorry your not liking it Xiao here let me make you some almo-" "NO MOMMY/DADDY IT'S AMAZING" he says as he shoves more in his face and smiles at you
♥︎Xiao sleeps with a Morax plushies would those even exist so fare back???? Whatever they do now AND HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT his papa plushie
⬤Morax gently pets Xiaos head as he finally calms down and goes back to sleep. You wrap your arms around morax knech and push up against his back "look at him and his papa plush" what that cringy I'm sorry (-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩___-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩)
♥︎Sometimes he slips up and calls Morax "daddy" or "papa" and it makes his heart go brrrrrrrrrrrr
⬤you hold Xiao's hand and take one stop out of the door before he stops you "wait wait I forgot to say goodbye to papa" he says as he tugs on your hand. You and Xiao head back inside and see morax reading a book "hm? Your walk ended so quickly" morax looks at Xiao as he runs to him "no no I just forgot to say goodbye daddy" that mad Morax's century
♥︎Xiao absolutely adorrrrresss being read to (づ◡﹏◡)づ but only by Morax
⬤Xiao wiggles around in your lap in an attempt to get comfy "you ready Xiao" "yup" and you begin to read like one sentence before Xiao says "I don't think your doing it right" he says as he looks at the words "what am I doing wrong" you turn your head slightly "everything."
♥︎Xiao's kinda clumsy.......okay very clumsy but poor baby is so embarrassed about it o(╥﹏╥)
⬤You walk out of your room with a pen in hand and before you turn the corner a small Xiao pops out with his mask on "rawr" he says in a "deep" voice then falls
♥︎Xiao eventually grew out of this phase but he has an obsession with milk he drinks so much of it
⬤"Papa can I have more milk Please!" cue morax trying not to die of Xiao's cuteness "of course sweetheart"
♥︎Both of the boys are absolutely obsessed with each other it's like one ones around the other is very few times are they apart it's not uncommon for you to find them cuddling through out random times of the day
⬤Morax rushes through the door after some weird.......Archon meeting??????.... Yeah let's go with that. And Xiao immediately runs to him "Papa!!!" "Xiao!" they embrace each other in a big hug!
♥︎Little Xiao was never worried about his height despite him being abnormally short because he swore one day he'll be as tall as his papa
⬤"One day when I get my growth spurt I'm gonna be as tall as you!!!" He jumps and looks up the smiling morax. Xiao's still wondering when he'll get his growth spurt

When I say Zhongli and Xiao are father and son, I don't mean the emo teen single dad thing that everyone does. I mean that they are Odin and Thor from Marvel comics.
Thor loves his father and respects him to a high degree, but he is also fearful of his anger and power.
Odin loves his son and is proud to call him that. However, he can be pig-head and sometimes treat Thor as a weapon rather than a person.
This is what I see in Zhongli and Xiao, father and son, but really messy and heartbreaking. (And both are adults)

Xiao's training
so i saw a tiktok and it inspired me to write this, so here ya go some good ol' zhongli and xiao, father and son material.

When Xiao was younger, he always used to train with Morax, although it was less training and more helping Morax to train
‘Morax, let me train with youuuu’ whined Xiao. Morax smiled and picked him up, putting him on his back.
‘Here my dear Xiao, you can sit on my back while I do push-ups.’ Morax said softly to the kid.
‘Butttt why can't you sit on my back while I do push-ups?’
‘Because my dear, you’re simply too young for that. Maybe when you’re older, I’ll do that.’
‘Do you promise?’ pouted Xiao.
‘Yes indeed I do.’ As he and Xiao joined pinkies, he thought he would forget about this promise by the time he was older. He would in fact not forget it.
XIAO AGE 15
And thus finally, he was 15 and ready to take on the world. He put on his usual black sleeveless top and loose pants and head out to find morax.
He had trained all his life for this moment. He needed to do this, he thought of it as a rite of passage for himself.
He practically barged into Morax's room, making his presence known to the archon sitting silently on his bed. Morax raised an eyebrow at him, Xiao had never entered his room without knocking, so he was quite perplexed to see him barge in.
‘Train with me….. Please.’ Xiao said, not wanting to sound disrespectful
Morax sighed, knowing this day would come. He laid his book down and took off his glasses, before he made his way to the open area with xiao. He could see Xiao was eager, as his steps had a little bounce in them. He smiled in adoration, he loved to see xiao like this.
As they finally approached the courtyard, he questioned Xiao, ‘What exactly did you have in mind, my dear Xiao?’
‘Lord Morax, I do not know if you recall, but when I was younger, I used to sit on your back while you used to push up. If you do not mind, I would like to try that with you right now.
Morax smiled while hearing that. He didn't think Xiao would remember that considering he was quite young back then. Being the good parent he was, he agreed immediately.
Xiao dropped down to the ground, and got into position. He looked up at Morax, telling him he was ready.
Morax gently put some of his weight on Xiao, not wanting to put his full weight on him immediately.
Xiao’s arms buckled but nonetheless, he grits his teeth, before saying, ‘Please do not hold back Lord Morax, I take this as a test of my strength.’
Morax looks back down at Xiao, seeing him already covered in sweat and his arms quivering. Looking at how earnest Xiao looked, he decided not to go easy on him and put his whole weight on him.
Now, if you thought about it rationally, you would come to a realisation that Morax, was
6000 years old and
The god of rocks, and rocks are known to be light
So as Morax put his whole weight on Xiao, his arms bent and eventually gave out. Sweat dripped from his forehead onto the ground. He immediately tried to get up again, but he just could not muster the strength to go back up.
Morax let out a small laugh, before getting off of Xiao and helping him up. He thought Xiao would’ve learnt his lesson by now but what Xiao said next proved him very wrong.
‘Fight me, my Lord.’ Xiao said, while panting heavily.
Morax scoffed, he couldn't even handle his weight, how was this boy supposed to fight him.
‘No.’ he replied in a firm tone, and tried to walk away from Xiao. But Xiao wouldn’t let go so easily.
He grabbed Morax’s arm and twisted it behind his back. ‘Please Morax?’ He begged with his eyes wide open and a sweet smile.
Morax smiled back, before tripping him with his free leg and pinning him to the ground. He dug his knee into Xiao’s lower back before saying-
‘No means no Xiao, it’s about time you realise that.’
He walked away, thinking he finally taught Xiao a lesson. That was before he heard the whistle of a dagger being thrown at him. He cocked his head to the side, easily dodging the dagger.
He chuckled slowly, before turning back to look at Xiao, who was barely on his feet but looking the most ferocious he had in a while.
But Morax knew he was all bark and no bite. He was just a small kitten trying to act tough. And now Morax had to teach this kitten a lesson.
2 hours later
Almost everyone had seen Xiao in this state now. After all, he was in the courtyard, for everyone to see.
Xiao was fuming in anger, as Morax, Guizhong and the Yakshas looked up at him and hollered. This was the most embarrassing thing he had ever gone through.
Morax asked once again, ‘Are you ready to accept your mistake Xiao?’
Xiao turned his head away, refusing to look at any of them.
And so, he was left there in the courtyard, hanging up on Morax's pillar, with the words ‘I am a sore loser’ written in red ink on his chest.
He wasn’t let down until dinner.
