Jungkook's Juno Persona Chart analysis

What is the Juno Persona Chart?

-> The Juno Persona Chart is a chart focused on the spouse you will most likely marry, your soulmate, the one for you. It is based on an asteroid, here called Juno (3). Juno (Hera for Greeks) was the wife of Jupiter (Zeus) in the roman mythology. It shows us the relationship you have with your future spouse, the one for you. This post is just a study of JK's Juno Persona Chart. Note that it's not the accurate natal chart of jk's future spouse, this just tell us about JK's FS's personality and their relationship!

Sun in Leo 11H, 21°

About FS: The sun (and Juno) represents her personality. Here in Leo, it literally tells us that she is the queen. Leos have a charismatic and royal aura, attitude, even without trying hard. You shouldn't see it as someone entering in the room, and literally trying so hard to be the queen. Leos placements don't have to try, they may not even intentionally do that. People are easily jealous of them for that. They are literal sun, you only can see them in the crowd. Their smile lights up the room, and it's easy for them to get noticed. She could be very beautiful, looking like a true goddess, at least in JK's eyes, since it's HIS Juno persona chart. Beauty is subjective don't forget. North Node Virgo 11H, 1°

JK and FS's relationship: This placement is supposed to show where their relationship will go, where it is supposed to go. The north node virgo tells me it is supposed to make the native embrace and follow the path of healing, of routine and good habits. So achieving a life of healthy routines in order to get the life you desire. So this couple is meant to find a true balance with healthy routines, it gives me a vibe of longterm relationship. With the 11H placement (Aquarius), it tells me that finding a healthy balance between their personal life and the internet is needed too. The 1° (Aries) is about the self. So it's really about balancing between the two. The purpose of a north node is to tell you what you are supposed to do in your life, it is a good way to tell you your purpose in this lifetime if you are lost. Looking at you North Node PC can be a tool too. But it doesn't come easy to understand it AND to apply to it. What I am trying to say is that in the beginning of their relationship, JK and FS can have hard time to balance things out between the internet and them. I've talked about this before, but I feel the need to do it again.

It is not that I am a big fan of incest or anything (and they are gods! Why even care about the incest anyway?), but it is actually important that Hera is also the sister and not just the wife of Zeus. It is actually important that she is called “the most glorious child to issue from crafty Kronos and mother Rhea” (Homeric Hymn 5), “eldest/most revered daughter of Kronos” and “august goddess, daughter of great Kronos” (the Iliad), “the supreme celestial goddess, daughter of Kronos” (Pindar Pythian 2). It is not for nothing that Hera emphasises her birth and not just her marriage when talking to Zeus: “And yet my labor must not be rendered worthless; for I too am a god, and my parentage is from the same place as yours, and devious Cronus bore me to be his most revered/eldest (πρεσβυτάτην) daughter. For both these reasons, my birth and also because I am called your wife, and you are lord among all the immortals.” (Iliad IV) or “I—who claim to be the best/noblest (ἀρίστη) of the goddesses, both by birth and because I am called your wife, and you are lord of all the immortals.” (Iliad XVIII).

“It is not possible, nor is it seemly to refuse your request; for you sleep in the arms of almighty Zeus.”, Aphrodite tells Hera in Iliad XIV, but a few lines earlier she also says: “Hera, eldest goddess, daughter of mighty Cronus, speak what you will; my heart compels me to accomplish it, if I am able to accomplish it, and if it can be accomplished.”

To change her parentage because eww, incest! is to diminish her status, to accentuate the already existing power imbalance between her and Zeus even more, and to make her authority depend primarily if not solely on her marriage.

And of course this doesn't just apply to Hera, because family connections are meaningful for all the gods. Demeter is so closely associated with her mother Rhea that they can even be identified with each other. It does say something that Gaia, Rhea and Demeter are some of the only four or so goddesses in Hesiod's Theogony who are given the title “mother”. Persephone was not just some irrelevant flower goddess until Hades made her important and respected, she was the daughter of the king of the gods. To take away their connections (and only theirs; nobody ever seems to change Hades' parentage) just because you are uncomfy with Persephone being married to her uncle is just... weird, not particularly interesting, and certainly not inherently less problematic.

Leuce and Hades: A Tragic Love Story We Were Robbed Of

⚠️ WARNING: I'm just saying my opinions just like everybody else. So in Demeter fashion, put your tin foil hats on. It's going to be a LONG read. Enjoy!!! ⚠️

• Hades and Leuce: The Titanomachy

I feel like The Titanomachy should've been the start of the book. A part 1 and 2 (and/or 3) of what happened before and after the war. During the fight, Hades was severely injured by Kronos which caused him to be on bed rest. First, the scene with Hera helping Hades should've been Leuce instead. He could've saw how beautiful she was and she would've thought the same about him. Leuce would've talked to him about how brave he was, feeling bad about him being hurt and being trapped in his father's stomach. After, she's done with taking care of him, she could've kissed him on the forehead showing that she cares about him. Next, after the war is over, he meets with Leuce at the beach saying thank you for taking care of me while I was hurt and feeling sorry that she had to see him that way. Leuce would've said it was fine and that she was okay helping him. Hades then asked about the forehead kiss. Leuce would say that she liked him, and wanted to let him know that he was loved (in her own way). After talking about their troubles and giving advice to each other, both experience their first kiss (which could've been the backstory on why he hates the beach). Finally, everyone was ready to move on with their lives. Hades asked Leuce if she wanted to go with him to the Underworld ( Zeus didn't trick him into ruling the Underworld in the myths and Hades didn't need to eat a pomegranate to rule 🙄), and so she said yes. Once they get down there, they get started on building the kingdom.

•The Loss of Leuce

After building everything and trapping Kronos in Tartarus (with the help of Hecate's powers), Hades was planning to propose to her and wanted to do it at Zeus's party. But he discovers that she doesn't look well, and wanted to know what's going on. Leuce explains that she is dying and that she almost lived a full life (keep in mind that they are the same age in this tragic love story). Hades tries to find away to make her live long enough to stay and be with him forever, but it was no use. Using this picture because this could've shown while working in his office, the glowing butterfly could've been a sign that she was about to pass away (or she sends it to him to let him know to be with her). And so he goes to the room, but before he does that, the doctors warned him that he only has 2 minutes to talk to her until she passes. Hades wonders if it was anything they could do, and they shake their head no. Hades walks in with sadness in his eyes with a happy smile. Before Hades could say anything, Leuce tells him something like...

"When I first saw you, I knew that you were the one for me. The love I have for you has grown stronger and stronger than ever. You understood me in a way that no one else could. I witnessed your crystals, your stars, and the real you. Hades I will always have you in my heart for centuries to come. The laughs we shared, the fun we had, and happiness we both have for each other will live on in your heart. Hades no matter what happens, I will always love you and I want you to be happy. Promise me you will be happy (He would tear up and says "I'll try"). My time has come. I love you Hades. I will always love you."

Hades would be crying while holding her hand telling her I love you too. Out of grief and sadness, he turns her into a poplar tree and started wearing a poplar leaf on his suit ever since. Losing her could've been the reason he's bitter, mean, somber, drinking, sulking and having bad dreams. We could've had a enemies to lovers story about him and Persephone (without the "I can fix him" mentality). I feel like him going to that party mad and upset because he is still grieving would've made more sense.

Sidenote: I wish that Hades hair stayed long and his hair would be Obsidian Black (like the glassy mineral since he is the God of Wealth) with swirls and everything. A missed opportunity once again 😒.

•My Rant

The author calling herself a Greek mythology expert is just...not true. When going into the myths, it is a stated that Hades first love was Leuce up until she died, turned her into a poplar tree, and puts the tree in Elysium. So why call this a feminist retelling, when there's nothing feminist about it? Why is Leuce made to be this delusional and gold digging nymph? Why is Persephone being a asshole to her and saying "clout chaser" (which is so cringe)? Having a self insert and a fantasy boyfriend isn't doing this book or the character(s) any favors. Leuce deserve so much better than this. And to see this story just mentions Greek gods and goddesses without giving them their own stories (mythically accurate at that) is sad to see. Just bad writing, bad morals, and a dream.

I do not care about Hades or Rhea or Melonie (I know I'm spelling her name wrong--) anyways.

It was so..nothing. like this left no emotional impact (cuz Rachel can't write emotional scenes worth hell) like..You're telling me Kronos is just..stealing motherfuckers because???? Idk. Like..if he has Rhea..why did he want Hera so bad? And if he can just take people..why not..take baby Zeus? Eat him, or shit. Even Metis cuz. Fertility Goddess nonsense.

Also..Hades and Persephone now have TWO children to neglect and ignore (Thanatos wasn't enough for Hades ig lol)

And Heras titan form is pretty, I just wish the art was treated with as much love as Persephones magical girl transformation. (Also. I'm positive Hera is either gonna..mildly inconvenience Kronos like Persephone..or she's actually gonna deck him. Here's hoping.)

(I did like Hades talking so highly of his brothers, that was nice.)

Meanwhile..everyone in the Mortal Realm has frozen to death cuz they're taking forever to solve that issue lmao-- they should be dead fr. And while the literal queen of God's is down in the Underworld, the king is ASLEEP. The fucks going on in Olympus ??

Okay... That would be a continuation of this headcanons! ^^

I don't think Zagreus would get jealous so quickly! So I made some scenarios were he could get a lil' jelly. [And I'm seriously wanting to make one Greek Gods x [You] series after so many thoughts about Poseidon, Apollo and Dionysus as boyfriends and being Hera's 'secret' lover - Like, before marrying Zeus or something like that.] If Anyone wants to see that, please tell me :]

So, to refresh your minds about the personalities traits:

Sun [Extroverted, funny and carefree people.] - GOD.

Moon [Introverts, gentle and creative people.] - UNDERWORLD GOD.

Eclipse [Ambiverts, can change their humors a lot.] - HALFBLOOD.

Cloud [Quiet, smart and can be someone gentle] - PUNISHED SOUL

Rain [An confort zone, caring and gentle but just for the ones that they care about.] - FORCED TO LIVE IN THE UNDERWORLD, GOD.

Zagreus Jealous

Does he get jealous quickly?

No, he doesn't.

Zagreus isn't some kind of yandere or anything like that, he knows that you can handle any situation very well - So, he doesn't get jealous of anything.

Everything seems okay to him; You want an poly relationship? Okay, talk to him and he will make this work well. You want to date his dad? No. You want to date Dyonisus? All fine for him.

But, he can get Jealous quickly if people can do things that he can't with you.

What does he get jealous of?

That depends on the personality you chose. If it is Sun or Eclipse, he gets jealous about how the other gods can just... Go and talk to you, hug you, kiss you...

If it is Moon, Cloud or Rain, he is probably going to get jealous if you are approaching or give too many gifts to other beings, especially if he - by himself - doesn't get that many gifts - Or - you giving too much attention to someone other than him or his family.

If you are Rainbow, if you are flirting too much with others, he can feel a little jealous - especially if you start getting touchy with them.

It's very difficult to get him jealous and not mad. [Situations that some people put to 'jealousy act' (SA) would get him mad - what is not the ask.]

How does he act?

When he is jealous... Well... It is a little difficult to say with 100% certainty - because his actions change depending on what you like and if you are in the underworld and everything.

He starts to roll his eyes at the subject [The other person], especially if they are trying to get your attention. He WILL be very very sarcastic with the other person, even mocking their words.

With you [around the other person] he would just play off as being chill and would just give some hints about his jealousy for you to understand that he wants to talk with you alone. [He wouldn't make you just let your friend behind just because he felt jealousy]

With you, alone, he would explain everything that he felt and ask for forgiveness - cause he couldn't control his own feelings. You would need to say some kind stuff to him, in your own way, to make him understand that feeling jealousy is normal... And that he shouldn't feel so down about that.

...Now, you would want to know how he would act with the personality that you chose... Right?

You and Aphrodite combined boons for your true love... Well, things didn't go as right as you thought.

You thought that it was a GREAT and FUNNY idea to surprise your boyfriend. You and Aphrodite just appear two time - in the beginning and to get a combine boon, after that, it seemed like you two just disappeared... Of course, it was part of your fun plan!

You and Aphrodite were chilling around after getting Zeus and Hades permission to go down there and were just waiting for Zagreus to chose between your boon or Aphrodite. With an 0,3 time record, he choosed your boon.

"Thank you, my beloved! I will remember this~ I would Aaaaalways choose you too!"

"What a shame... Could I be the third person into your relationship? Oh wait, I already am." Aphrodite was talking about being the third wheel... But, Zagreus [who was thinking that you two were acting suspicious] understanded... Another meaning.

"Heeey! Don't say it like that!"

He didn't like it. He just avoided the heart (Aphrodite's skill) and killed all the monsters, before just picking Aphrodite boon so he could continue his way, not saying anything.

You could sense there was something wrong with Zagreus, but you couldn’t actually tell exactly what… But you were so happy and excited for Zagreus to get back at Hades’s place so you could surprise him that you didn’t even think about how sus everything sounded.

And after some time, Zagreus died… Well, no sh- But he got back at the ‘checkpoint’, where… Tada! You were there too!

“. . .Oh my, if it isn’t Zagreus’s partner!” With Hypnos' lack of keeping secrets and surprises, he would be upfront with that information. Zagreus quickly turned his head so he could see… You. You … The vision he had - first seeing you - was probably one of the prettiest in his head.

he didn’t wait, just runned to hug you with all the speed he had - using his dash to be close enough to you before just pulling you to his embrace. Aphrodite would laugh at this demonstration of affection.

“Seems like Zagreus and you match~” She would say, happily almost not seeing how dark and dull his eyes would be almost hostily towards her “Oh my- I should apologize for what I did say earlier~ I understand that you misunderstood my words, I was talking about being the ‘Third wheel’ and not the ‘lover’~”

“Oh… I see, it's my fault.” He would say in his worried but sorry tone as he created a little distance between you and him “...Though… Could I talk with you, [Reader]?”

He would guide you to his room, there, he would be way more upfront with his thoughts… “Look, I’m sorry… I… I just couldn’t say those things in front of Hypnos and Aphrodite… But… I got jealous of that whole thing… I just noticed that you could live happily with some god of the Olympus. It would be way easier and you wouldn’t have too much trouble… Especially because of having to go through a lot of stuff just so you can get into the Underworld.”

“Do you think I give a single fuck?” You would say, with your characteristic smile and would pinch Zagreus’s cheek “I love you, Zagreus… And if I need to go to hell, another dimension or whatever to be with you, I will.”

“...You are too… Much… You know?” He would say with a chuckle.

“You were the one that, for the first time seeing me, guided me to your room.”

Hypnos and you started to get very close... Because of that, some souls didn't know about your true romantic relationship and would have their doubts.

Hypnos and you - for some reason - were getting very close, maybe it was because you could see his value, you don’t judge his laziness and tries to help in what you can, even defending him from the verbal attacks from the others gods - Even if it was from the mighty Nyx or Hades.

Because of your protection, an ‘meme’ started towards the souls - “Zagreus, his partner [you] and Zagreus's partner husband [Hypnos].”

No one seemed actually uncomfortable with that joke and - sometimes - Zagreus or Hypnos would kindly laugh it off and change the topic - But, this day, a Soul asked in front of others [loudly] if Hypnos was your boyfriend.

“No.” That was your fast answer.

“Hahahaha… How is that even an question...?" Hypnos would try to laugh it off, because he could feel Zagreus glare towards him - waiting for his answer “No, no. They are with this handsome fellow” Hypnos would point toward Zagreus and the words that the soul told Zagreus what they thought about the situation.

“Well, you should be careful then. They are too close.”

“Excuse me, but I trust both of them. If they were in love, I know that they would tell me… And, I’m not against polyamour.”

As always, your training with another demigod was marked - This time with the champion, Heracles. Your muscles were hurt, and you could feel a heavy pain around your neck, with that, Heracles promised you a great massage. Then be it… The only bad thing was that you were almost naked in front of your long distance boyfriend with a 2-3 meters muscular soft boy behind you.

“Oh shit.” You would say making it seem more sus than it already is.

“Am I interrupting… Something?” Zagreus would ask, waiting for you to realize that he was on Olympus.

“HOLY COW! YOU ARE IN OLYMPUS, WHAT IN HERA!?” You would run towards Zagreus, hugging him “And Alcides was just giving me a massage, we were training.”

“Oh… I see… I have to admit that I got a little jealous of what I have seen.”

You missed how the sun would go through your skin, how you could feel the wind… And Zagreus seemed in love with the feeling too. Finally… The both of you were there, without the other gods to know… But, at least, you could make Zagreus be away from some ‘god connected place’ by your knowledge of them.

Zagreus was swimming with you, he thought that that would be cool - and, It actually is!... But the uncool part is explaining how to swim to that prince. Well, after a long time, you caught someone's attention. In this case - Someone you didn’t want.

A random person walked towards you.

“What a beauty… Wouldn’t you like to let that… Zombie there and come with me for a lil’ fun?” They would say, kneeling in front of you “You know, he doesn’t seem wealthy at all.”

“Pardon?” You would ask, with a confused expression - “What?... You think- You think I’m beautiful?” They would just smile and nod “MY zombie thinks that too!” You pointed to Zagreus “So, yeah, not going to change my zombie for some random.”

“Oh alright, then.” The person just nodded and then got up “Wish the both of you an good day” Now, what the fuck- Is that how being catcalled works nowadays?

You thought it was a good idea to flirt around with anyone... Well, Zagreus didn't think so.

Zagreus and you started a closed relationship, Hades still hates you for just appearing out of nowhere - demanding to marry his son [Like, who the fuck are you?] but when he looked at Zagreus and saw his… Shiny eyes - He knew that you were someone important to him. That’s why he decided to give his blessing to the relationship, but ONLY if you two could be together for 3 months without an big fight.

With that, Persephone suggested some ‘challenges’ to Zagreus and you, being one of them ‘flirting around’, they wanted to see your and Zagreus reaction to someone trying to flirt with both of you.

The soul would go towards Zagreus first while you were asking something for the cooker. The soul would start with a respectful bow to Zagreus and would say “I’m sorry, master Zagreus , but if I don’t have a bed how am I going to serve you?”

He almost choked - You didn’t seem bothered though, just continuing what you were doing while Zagreus tried to think about an answer. “I’m sorry but, I would suggest not flirting with me… I don’t feel comfortable with that.” A simple and honest answer, it would be enough to make the soul step back until just started to do something else. Zagreus would sigh and start looking at you, making sure you weren’t mad about his answer or anything. “All fine, [reader]?”

Your answer would be a nod while finishing your meal “Duude, the food here is HOT as F U C K, not as hot as you though.” With that simple answer you got Zagreus a lil’ flustered, he was going to say something but another soul approached the table where you two were.

The soul just said “Bro, I’m in hell or Heaven? Because all I see it’s a angel.”

“I’m no angel, but I can guide you to heaven.”

“In bed?”

“Not only in bed~”

Zagreus was seriously taking this horrible flirting as seriously? Maybe, after all, he never saw you flirt with more than 3 phrases to someone. He did show to be a little discomfortable though, he would just look at you.

“Well, good talk buuut bye bye~” You would notice that he wanted to talk with you and would give 0 fucks to the soul anymore “What is it, darling?~”

“It’s just… I don’t think I kind of like you doing that kind of stuff with other people, like, it’s just a feeling… Like the flirting was looking very personal… And while I couldn't answer you proply”

Episode 8:

Preview: Zeus and Hera finally reconcile! Poseidon and Amphitrite face a new problem. Apollo is on cloud 9 with Hyacinthus, while Ares and Hephaestus have a big fight. Athena and Artemis decide to take the next big step in their relationship. Many more to follow on this unholy episode!

Scene 1: (Ares and Hephaestus)

Hephaestus' confessional:

It was a nightmare having Athena bring here Ares' shield. But what can I do? Ares wouldn't come to talk if I asked him to...

Ares: There is my shield!

Hephaestus: Yeah, here it is!

Ares: And why did Athena leave it here?

Hephaestus: Actually, I wanted to talk to you...

Ares: Be done! I don't have all day!

Hephaestus: Well, I wanna apologize for my behavior. I know I shouldn't have intervened in your relationship with Aphrodite. You already built a family together! I did all that because I needed the reassurance that I was important and that my presence in this mountain isn't vain! I know it is not a justification of my actions, but I understand my mistake now and I wanna apologize to you because you are my older brother, and my behavior towards you was egotistical and cruel!

Ares: Are you done?

Hephaestus: Yeah, unless you want to say something back!

Ares: Does that apology make you feel good?

Hephaestus: Not entirely, but it is something-

Ares: Cut it! An apology doesn't erase what you did!

Hephaestus: I know but-

Ares: I don't wanna hear anything! All my life I was nice to you, and you stabbed my back!

Hephaestus: You were nice? I don't think you really were nice to me ever!

Ares: Oh really?

Hephaestus: Exactly!

Ares: When everyone was making fun of you I didn't even flinch! You were crying alone while I explained to everyone how awful it was of them to make fun of you! Even Athena made fun of you but you hold her in a higher place than everyone! And that's one of the reasons no one likes me on this stupid mountain!

Hephaestus: Wait, really?

Ares: Yes!

Hephaestus: But you never came to console me?

Ares: You think that only your life was a living hell? I was neglected too when I was young! And don't make me remember that no one came to look for me when I was trapped in that fucking jar!

Ares turns and leaves

Hephaestus: And I guess there is bad blood again!

Scene 2: (Apollo and Hyacinthus)

Apollo: Babe! Are you having a good time?

Hyacinthus: Yes!

Apollo's confessional:

That pool party we have established every weekend is simply great! Just me and him with no clothes! (winks)

Hyacinthus: Really? You want to live with me?

Apollo and Hyacinthus cover themselves frantically

Artemis: My eyes! My eyes! Where is the bleach!

Apollo: What are you doing here?

Artemis with her back to them: I was looking for you to tell you something, but you traumatized me for life?

Apollo: What is it?

Artemis: Where is the bleach?

Apollo: What do you want it?

Artemis: To erase that image off my mind!

Apollo: Stop being silly! What did you want to tell me?

Artemis: Are you covered?

Apollo: We have wrapped towels around us, turn around!

Artemis turns around

Artemis: Ares and Hephaestus fought badly, and Poseidon with Amphitrite decided to help in Hera's satanic plan to catch Zeus in the act!

Apollo: NO WAY!

Artemis: YES WAY!

Apollo: Let's go!

Hyacinthus: What about me?

Apollo: I'll take care of you when I come back! (winks)

Artemis: Eeeeewwwww!

Scene 3: (Hera, Poseidon and Amphitrite in Poseidon's sea getaway)

Amphitrite whispering to Poseidon: I don't think that helping Hera is a good idea!

Poseidon: She is my older sister, I don't really have a choice here!

Amphitrite: Low blow.

Hera enters

Hera: Well, I tried to track him through the monitor detector on his wedding ring but nothing! I can't detect his location!

Poseidon: Are you sure?

Hera: I tried it over a 100 times!

Amphitrite: Maybe he took off his wedding ring?

Hera: What?

Poseidon: Oh no!

Amphitrite: I mean, if he is with another woman why would he wear his wedding ring?

Hera: You are dead!

Poseidon: Calm down, you'll cause a typhoon!

Amphitrite screaming: Poseidon help! This bitch pulls my hair!

Hera: Who did you call a bitch?

Amphitrite: You of course!

Hera: Poseidon!

Poseidon: Ladies, we can solve it in a peaceful way! And this is not what you should be doing now Hera!

Hera leaves Amphitrite's hair

Hera: You are right...

Amphitrite: Well, deal with it yourselves, I don't wanna meddle in any drama!

Amphitrite departs

Hera: Now what?

Poseidon: I have an idea...

Scene 3: (Hermes, Dionysos and Ariadne)

Dionysos: I love you babe!

Ariadne laying on his chest: I love you too!

Both are ready to kiss until Hermes barges in

Hermes: What are you doing here you little lovebirds?

Dionysos: Now that you barged in like that, nothing!

Hermes cheekily: Did I spoil your fun?

Ariadne: Anyway, what did you want?

Hermes: Did you forget that we were about to have a Pyjama party tonight?

Dionysos: Oops!

Ariadne: And I was horny!

Hermes: Well, I can leave the room and I'll be back in 5 minutes.

Dionysos confused: 5 minutes?

Hermes: Will it take longer?

Dionysos: Excuse me?

Ariadne: Not this again!

Hermes: How long do you two fuck?

Dionysos: I'm the god of parties! Do you think I fuck in just 5 minutes?

Artemis: Even though his ego is big, he is an understanding person!

Hephaestus: I guess it was too early indeed!

Athena: Well, don't worry. Everything will be okay.

Hephaestus: I guess so.

Artemis: Well, let's talk about something happy!

Artemis: It was a hard decision, but I think it will worth it.

The three of them shake their salads and proceed to eat them

Persephone: What will Hera do?

Demeter: I don't know honey, she and Poseidon are on some wild shit right now.

Hestia: Why all that drama? Can't they just sit down like grown ups and solve their differences?

Demeter: Sometimes it is just too much!

Hestia: Persephone what will you do with Hades?

Persephone: I decided to give it a chance. It may not be bad afterall.

Demeter: In this case I agree.

Persephone: You never agree with Hades, so this time that you did agree I decided to go for it.

Hestia: Mother-daughter time is the best!

Demeter: When are gonna leave?

Persephone: Probably tomorrow. He must be so alone!

Hestia: What do you think about the Ares-Hephaestus thing?

Demeter: I kinda agree with Ares on this one! The boy always loved his brother!

Persephone: I agree too! We were all awful to the both of them.

Hestia: I think they will reconcile, they love each other.

Persephone: Oh! I didn't tell you!

Hestia: What?

Persephone: Artemis walked in on Apollo and Hyacinthus making out naked by the pool!

Demeter: WHAT? WHEN?

Persephone: Artemis wanted to rip her eyes off!

Hestia: I don't blame her!

Demeter: Hilarious!

Persephone: So much happened this week!

Demeter: That's good fir our show actually!

Hestia: No money, no honey!

Scene 6: (Zeus, Hera and Poseidon)

Poseidon: It will sure work!

Hera: I hope it will!

Poseidon: Hug me, here he comes!

Hera and Poseidon hug each other romantically to make Zeus jealous

Zeus: What's going on here?

Poseidon: I realised that I was married to the wrong woman all this time!

Hera: Me too! Thanks to your infidelities I found my true love!

Zeus: You are joking, right?

Poseidon: Not at all!

Hera: I'm dead serious!

Zeus: I will also be dead serious when I bury you alive Poseidon!

Zeus storms onto Poseidon

Hera: Babe! No!

Zeus: Don't call him babe!

Poseidon: Why? Jealous?

Zeus: I'll kill you!

Hera: Enough! Both of you! Zeus, it was a set up!

Zeus: Huh?

Hera: I wanted you to see what it is like to be cheated on!

Poseidon: Yes dude, now get off me!

Zeus: Hera, I love you! I never wanted to hurt you!

Hera: I love you too! But do you promise to be faithful?

Zeus: I swear on Styx I will never cheat on you again!

I was taken aback, but alt least I get to sleep peacefully again!

Hades: I'm sorry! It was stupid of me to do such a thing!

Persephone: No, no! You were right. I thought about it and I concluded that it was not bad afterall.

Hades: Really my love?

Persephone: Yes! I love you!

Hades: No I love you more!

Persephone: No, I love you more!

Minoas: Not this again!

Hades: What did that little piece of shit say?

Persephone: He was happy to see us together again!

Minoas: Yes! That's it!

Hades: I'll let it slide this time...

Persephone: Hades, I missed your hammer!

Hades: Let's take you to see it then? (winks)

Hades lifts Persephone up and takes her to their bedroom

Minoas: Hammer?

Minoas:..........

Minoas: Oooooooohhhhhhhh! I gotta go!

ZEUS

i think generally, Demeter does not get along with any of her brothers, but i believe that she gets along with Zeus the best.

as the goddess of the harvest, i think she has to work with Zeus a lot (i mean, he's the king, he's like the manager, everyone reports to him, so she has to come face-to-face with him regularly).

in their youth, i think they got along better.

because Demeter and Hera have always been close, i like the idea that Zeus goes to Demeter for advice on how to get Hera's attention because Hera isn't easily charmed by him.

i don't think there ever was a romantic relationship between Zeus and Demeter, i mean, i think what happened with Persephone was just an accidental fling or something idk.

anyways, Zeus, in my head, is such a dad-- i do think he loves all of his children abundantly, and that includes Persephone. however, when Demeter makes it clear that she doesn't want Persephone to be in Olympus, he respects that and lets her go.

but that doesn't mean he stops being a father to her. and i think of course, that sort of sentiment is exactly the reason why he allows and even encourages Hades to pursue Persephone as a wife, because the paternal side of Zeus knows that Hades could care for Persephone and that she'd want for nothing with him, so he's like "yeah ok i'll give you my blessing".

this, naturally, doesn't go well with Demeter, and i do think she perceives that Zeus has overstepped his boundaries by doing this, because while Zeus sees himself as Persephone's father, Demeter doesn't. Demeter is a sole-parent, and she only accepts Zeus' word because he's the King, not because he's Persephone's father.

HERA

HESTIA

Hestia is the older sister, right, so i think Demeter and Hestia have a good, solid relationship.

i don't think they're as tight as Hera and Demeter, but they have no beef.

i like the idea of Demeter and Hestia inventing food and recipes together, Demeter bringing the ingredients and Hestia bringing the fire.

i actually have a little scene in my Hephaestus x Aphrodite story where Demeter and Hestia invent popcorn together and all the younger Olympians are like "holy shittttttt this is awesome".

i think perhaps where Demeter and Hestia fall out is Hestia's refusal to take sides. i mean, i think she never ever actively takes one sibling's side-- she always says, "well, think about this from their perspective".

now, both Demeter and Hera are pretty headstrong characters so i think that kind of logic doesn't go down well with them, and i think while Demeter would go to Hestia for a rant, when it came to needing an actual heart-to-heart, Demeter would go to Hera first.

POSEIDON

ok. this one's complicated. i haven't really figured out for myself where Demeter and Poseidon stand, but in my hc's they dislike each other. well, Demeter at the very least, cannot stand Poseidon.

Demeter and Poseidon do have a son, the horse Arion, and i like the idea of Demeter loving Arion as she would love any of her children of course, but the exact circumstances that brought about Arion's birth are.. unspoken to me. in my hc's, no one really knows, Demeter doesn't talk about it, Poseidon doesn't talk about it. Zeus and Hera probably know but aren't telling.

so idk. but i know for sure in my mind that they do not get along at all.

HADES

ah. i think they originally would have had a relationship like Demeter and Hestia, but after Persephone, that relationship breaks down entirely.

i do agree with the general consensus that, in his youth, Hades probably wasn't as much of a "playboy" as Poseidon and Zeus, and i think that made him a little more trustworthy in Demeter's eyes, so while she'd never have approved of Hades and Persephone even if her permission had been sought, i do think they were on good terms.

however, after Hades breaks Demeter's trust by "kidnapping" her daughter, i think the relationship is pretty much irreparable.

i do like the idea that after some time, Persephone does find love in Hades, but i don't think Persephone's present happiness is enough to erase Demeter's past heartbreak and pain at losing her daughter, the apple of her eye... nor would she ever forget that the only reason why she still sees even 3x months of Persephone is because she fought tooth and nail for those "visitation rights", and if she hadn't, she'd probably only see Persephone at Olympian meetings.

for Persephone's sake, and especially under Zeus' watch, Demeter remains civil to Hades when they meet. and she doesn't bring up the past. to Hades' credit, i don't think he's the type of character to flaunt his "successful marriage" of Persephone to Demeter, nor does he try to apologise or suck-up to her (because he knows that that would only piss Demeter off more). so yeah, they remain professional.

PERSEPHONE

do i even need to say? Demeter loves Persephone. she's her daughter. she adores her. Demeter loves all of her children.

when Persephone leaves her to go to the Underworld, i think she's really shocked and sad. i mean of course she is, that's what the myths say. and i think originally, she might even feel a tinge of betrayal that Persephone doesn't want to simply stay with her forever and be a harvest goddess like her (in my hc's, after much deliberation, Persephone eats the seeds willingly, im sorry, Hades couldn't be redeemed if he forced her so yeah)... and i do think this is where Hera becomes a really strong pillar of support who encourages Demeter to understand Persephone's perspective, and helps Demeter to accept Persephone's fate.

Persephone, of course, loves her mother to no end. i know some people have the hc that Persephone wanted to get free of Demeter because she was "controlling" -- i disagree, i think that when Persephone went to the Underworld, her eyes were opened to another possible future for herself and she simply chose to pursue something a bit more ambitious- but it had nothing to do with Demeter "suffocating" her or anything like that, she simply wanted to carve her own path.

ATHENA

they don't interact too much.

i do like the idea of Athena weaving blankets and baskets and other things for Demeter, so they're on good terms-- they're more than acquaintances, less than an aunt-and-niece. they're like, two people who live in the same building and say good morning to each other when they pass on the stairwell, and like. that's it.

ARTEMIS

again, as i said in Artemis' hcs, they don't interact too much. they're respectful of each other, but other than that, they don't think too much about each other.

APOLLO

same as Artemis.

HERMES

no one is immune to Hermes.

he's a little fruit fly that comes and goes, and when he's in your house, you can't get rid of him.

as such, Hermes is one of the few Olympians who actually does appear on Demeter's farm fairly regularly because he has to deliver messages and reports and summons.

Hermes has a bit of a childish mischievousness about him, and this makes him quite likeable. he can be a suck-up sometimes, but because he's got that childlike innocence about him (not that he is innocent! he's just good at pretending to be hee hee), although Demeter doesn't care for flattery, it's cute when it comes from Hermes, so she can forgive it.

ARES

i think Demeter does adopt an "aunt"-type role with all of Hera's children.

so with Ares, she definitely sees him as her nephew, and i think Ares would be allowed on her little farm. i could see Demeter taking care of Hera's kids whenever Oceanus and Tethys are too far.

Ares is considered to be brash and violent, but i don't think this bothers Demeter... she thinks in her mind that he's just like Zeus.

HEPHAESTUS

again, same with Ares, he's Demeter's nephew.

i like the idea of Hephaestus making all of Demeter's farming tools.

before Hephaestus was born, i have a hc that Demeter may have made may of her own tools by herself so that she wouldn't have to leave her farm or ask any other god for the favour, but when Hephaestus was growing up and showed an interest in being a blacksmith, Demeter showed Hephaestus some of her own craft and how she could make crude tools... so of course, Hephaestus honours that memory of Demeter by creating more refined, more beautiful, and more sturdy tools for her to use.

DIONYSUS

it's complicated. there are like 3 versions of Dionysus, i swear-- in my timeline, i think the first incarnation of Dionysus is as Demeter's son, and Persephone, being his older sister, may have taken care of him a lot, thus causing her to be recorded as his mother instead in myth... and then somewhere along, he dies, and then he gets born as Semele's son.. IDK. i haven't figured it out.

anyways, either way, Dionysus would have a good relationship with Demeter, just like Hermes.

Dionysus would use Demeter's grain to make drinks, and her grapes to make wine, and they would invent fun new flavours and ways to cultivate the fruit.

APHRODITE

many goddesses appear to get "jealous" of Aphrodite, but i don't think Demeter is one of them. she literally just does not care.

i think Demeter and Aphrodite would have a cordial relationship- i like the idea of Aphrodite and Persephone having a good friendship-rivalry, so if she's cool with Persephone, she's cool with Demeter.

but yeah, other than that, they probably don't interact all that much.

Ohhhh, you know how to make infinitely more motivated to write more. I mean, look at THIS, it feels like you're quite literally in my brain 🥺🥺

Dream. I don't think that anyone'll be surprised that I'm linking him to Apollo...the sun god. BUT HE IS MORE THAN THAT. I mean, god of plague and healing, music and arts, oracles and so much more!! For some reason, Apollo radiates Dream for me (I mean, Apollo is literally referred to as Alexicacus -> the "averter of evil" and depending on your perspective, that's what Dream does with negativity. He was Zeus' favourite (like the villagers favouring Dream before....teehee), and he was born from a mother who was in hiding from Hera (like how Dream's mother created Dream and Nightmare before she died after being hunted). And he was like, very prosperous for the island he was born on (the myths differ on what its name is), turning everything there to gold (like how Dream brought a shit ton of positivity to the villagers). Lets talk about Apollo's tragic love life and why I think that links to Dream. Basically, the most tragic tale (in my opinion) is Hyacinthus and Apollo. See, everyone looooved Hyacinthus and was pissy when he chose Apollo. One day, they were having a game of discus, and whether out of jealousy or pure bad luck, when Hyacinthus tried to catch the discus Apollo threw it smashed into his head and he died in Apollo's arms because he couldn't do anything to heal him. And this genuinely is so heartbreaking, because Apollo, despite being god of healing, couldn't manage to save what mattered most in the end. LIKE DREAM AND THE APPLE INCIDENT. IT WAS JUST A NORMAL DAY FOR THAT POOR BASTARD AND THEN BOOM, HE COULDN'T MANAGE TO SAVE NIGHTMARE IN THE END. WRAGGGHH - I think I went overboard with this one, but I love Apollo and I love linking him to Dream.

Nightmare. Well, for ever sun god, we need a mooon god!! Artemis, obviously, but why do I think this? Well, obviously I can link Artemis' birth to Nightmare's, as I did with Apollo's and Dream's - but I can take it one step further, folks! Artemis, according to some tellings of the legend, was born first and then became a midwife of sorts to Leto as she gave birth to Apollo. This can be linked to depictions of Nightmare as an older twin, keeping Dream innocent from the bullying he received and growing up much faster than he should have (considering he was like, five, at the time of the apple incident). There is also a lot of Artemis seeking retribution for man's hubris and acts, similar to how Nightmare killed all of the villagers as retribution for their years of bullying a child just because he was...well, the personification of negativity, in a sense. Also, Artemis is portrayed as a virgin goddess (iconic), and she keeps company with the Hunters of Artemis (mainly women who swore a pledge to her), much like Nightmare with his silly little children henchmen, who value him above all. ALSO, we can link it to the fact that in Istrus' version of Orion and Artemis, he was the only person she ever truly loved and he was a hunter of her, so, y'know, the idea that Artemis and Nightmare both could only get into relationships with people they've known extremely well for a long long time. But keep in mind that Artemis feels nooo love for anyone, this is just an idea.

Reaper. I don't know how big this bullet point'll be, because there's only so much I can explain before it becomes obvious. But, obviously a Hades like figure. Ruler of the underworld, god of death, y'know, it matches. Also, also, also, I'd like to point out that Hades got the short end of the stick and got stuck with the underworld, like how Reaper got forced into being a god of death because...well, he was born. Poor bastard. Hades, despite being the eldest son, was regurgitated last, which led to him being absolutely dunked on in receiving the Underworld when they drew lots. Reaper and Hades (in my opinion) share this lack of care about mortals and the world above. ALSO, Reaper has the death touch, which means he probably craves what he cannot have, like how Hades only ever fell in love (true love) with Persephone, goddess of spring. Literally the opposite of him. They both kind of long for things they cannot have. Well, without killing people or kidnapping them. Also, then portraying Geno as Persephone is a delicious idea for shipping material. MORE TO COME SOON IF WANTED\ (you can find what is basically a masterpost of this headcanon series here)

I love all the analyses you've done. Especially Crosshair as I always found him to be a complex character.I would like to know your opinion of Crosshair in this third season and what did you think of him? Also his closeness to Hunter, since they've been talking they seem to be together all the time.

Now that I remember, I've seen fic where Hunter and Crosshair are described as lovers and it's funny because reading your analysis I remembered a story where Hunter gets drunk and gets involved with 2 Twi'leks and Crosshair upon seeing the mess on the boat angrily tells him he's not going to clean up his mess.And in other stories where they are together but are always fighting and arguing.Or in others where Tech and Crosshair do things on the sly and Hunter only tolerates Tech's because when it comes to Crosshair he reproaches them.I'm not saying they're canon or anything, but as written coincidences go, they're fun.

Thank you so much! Yes, Crosshair is a complex character, and I can't believe that I have written so much about him.

I am going to write an analysis of The Bad Batch season 3 after the series finale. Right now, I think Crosshair is on the right path as he is growing beyond his four main archetypes.

In "Shadows of Tantiss", once he takes a leap to escape Tantiss with Omega despite not knowing what's ahead clearly, he is starting to move beyond his Apollo archetype.

In "A Different Approach", Omega teaches Crosshair that violence does not always solve problems (something an Artemis person must learn, which is how to take down the Calydonian Boar). Of course, Crosshair does teach Omega to be more assertive and not let other people take advantage of her (a useful Artemis trait for a Persephone person like Omega).

As Crosshair reconciles with the Bad Batch, especially Hunter, he is "recycling" his Hera archetype, and this happens after "The Return" (winter has finally passed as Crosshair leaves the Outpost). Hunter defends Crosshair from Howzer, showing that he does care about Crosshair, which assures Crosshair's Hera archetype. When Crosshair talks about how loyalty should go two ways in "Extraction", it shows that he has grown beyond his Hera archetype - able to make wise decisions after getting out of an abusive relationship with the Empire.

In "Bad Territory", Crosshair learns meditation, which is a healthy method to deal with his emotional trauma. This helps him to move beyond his Poseidon archetype - channeling his destructive emotions through creative and calm methods.

Based on my analysis, Hunter has the Zeus archetype while Crosshair has the Hera archetype, which may explain why they are so close to each other (I do not do clone shipping). They support each other, yet they will argue with each other a lot. Those stories that you have mentioned do match this dynamic of theirs (and Tech with Hunter's favouritism).

They all may seem like "written coincidences", but I interpret it as archetypes existing in our collective unconscious. Carl Jung did travel to places in India and Africa where the people had never had western influences, and he found that many of their myths shared the same archetypal patterns as those western myths. He believed that archetypes are universal and they exist in our collective unconscious. Even though we may come from different places, have different cultures and have different experiences, the same patterns can be identified, taking on various forms, just as Joseph Campbell has stated in his book The Hero with a Thousand Faces.

I do believe these archetypes already existed in the Bad Batch, be it obvious or subtle. These archetypes are later expanded by the fans through various interpretations in the forms of headcanons, fanarts and fanfictions. They may not all be canon, but it's certainly fun to see. Besides, it helps me to explore human psychology and reaffirm Carl Jung's theory of the collective unconscious. Sometimes, by looking into how a person interprets the Bad Batch (along with what they like and don't like about them), I can figure out some interesting things about their personality, which leads me back to the archetypal patterns.

gods are not people. gods are stories.

when the Greeks created Zeus and Hera, they did not create them with the thought that people thousands of years later would declare their relationship atrocious and their actions cruel. they didn't write these characters with the idea that they should be scolded for punishing victims.

because gods are not people. Hera is marriage. beyond the goddess of marriage. she Is Marriage.

if you do not respect your marriage, terrible things will happen to you. to tell a story and to make their world clearer, the Greeks attributed those terrible things to Hera. do not break your oaths, or Hera will punish you.

if you are inhospitable, trouble will find you. a tyrant king will be toppled by the angry army of peasants crushed beneath him. a thief of renown shall be hunted down by those they've robbed and they will lose everything they once had. attack those around you who trust you, and hell shall follow. they named this hell Zeus.

with this in mind, I wanted to talk about the deities of Hallownest.

The Pale King gives the gift of mind to those who live in his kingdom, has the ability to predict the future, was an engineer, a researcher, and he was very, very, prideful. egotistical. he fully believed his kingdom would never fall, better than all the rest. he believed his plans to protect his land would succeed. he made countless sacrifices and was full of regret. he made innumerable mistakes, but remains beloved by his people, who endlessly called out to him when he vanished. he holds affection for his wife, his home, his people, his children. he gave a gift to someone he believed did not care for him, and crafted a memorial for them when they were sacrificed.

the pale king is the Mind. he is the concept of thinking highly of one's self, thinking one can do no wrong, he is pride and joy, he is curiosity, he is embarrassment and regret and shame and mistakes and fumbles and learning and growing, he is memory and he is hindsight and he is foresight, forethought, carefully considering every option on the path ahead, he is grief and he is love and he is the inability to cope with loss and he is the inability to understand the finality of death and he is the hope that things will never change and everything will be comfortable just as it is forever. he is Mind.

The White Lady is the wife of the pale king, and she is a mother, but not a Mother. she is a wife, but a cold one. she is a queen, but she is absent. she is a god, and she is selfish. when a vessel stumbled into her chambers, where she imprisoned herself of her own volition, she gave away her late husband's wedding ring, speaking of its potential power. not of its sentiment, for it was broken and useless without its other half, not of its purpose or who owned it or why she carried it, no. she gave it away and asked her child to sacrifice their own life for her.

trees do not care what happens to the fruit they bear. it falls from their branches and is either carried off by animals or reduced to rot in the grass. the seeds inside are all the tree could care about, flourishing for its own gain. the more trees, the better. nature does not care. The White Lady is Nature. and she does not nurture. The Mind loves her dearly, for her branches and her life and all she is and ever will be. Nature is neutral in return.

The Radiance is an arrogant goddess who believed in herself just as the Mind did, believing in her own beauty and power, that she could unite everyone beneath her if they just focused entirely on her, on achieving the feats she wished of them, and from arrogance she birthed arrogance, as her people abandoned her for better, clearer things the moment they were able. she wished for them to follow their Dream, and once they did, she made them regret it.

The Hollow Knight was born to be purity and perfection. something mindless and yet clever, something stoic yet without will, something silent yet sending a message. and the hollow knight looked upon this impossible task, then out across the kingdom that would be relying on its success, then up towards the eyes of its proud father, the Mind believing in its Patience and perseverance and its ability to hold strong for as long as they would need, and Patience acted for the good of the world around it.

and an eternity later, a lone knight stepped into a kingdom, listening to its final breaths, suspended in a moment between life and death, and the knight came forward to decide its Fate.

Dionysus-centric W.I.P

A/N: Writing this I have discovered that I fucking hate writing in first person. But it is bearable cus I am switching Pov's and I fucking love this fic trope

On a related note I will be delving into Dio's Demigod Days trauma in this one and that for this i am following this verion of the myth:

Pseudo-Apollodorus, Bibliotheca 3. 28 (trans. Aldrich) (Greek mythographer C2nd A.D.) :

"Hermes took him [the infant Dionysos] to Ino and Athamas, and persuaded them to bring him up as a girl. Incensed, Hera inflicted madness on them, so that Athamas stalked and slew his elder son Learkhos on the conviction that he was a deer, while Ino threw Melikertes into a basin of boiling water, and then, carrying both the basin and the corpse of the boy, she jumped to the bottom of the sea. As for Zeus, he escaped Hera's anger by changing Dionysos into a baby goat

Only we're going to ignore the part of the myth where Hermes takes him to nymphs after that and that he ended up just wandering around at 8 years old.

Chiron: Just a quiet day in Camp Half-Blood....I wish.

It was quiet at Camp Half-Blood.

That alone should have been my first hint that something was about to go very wrong.

It was the afternoon, Apollo was midway through his daily drive in his sun chariot. Campers were peacefully going about their scheduled activities, and Mr. D hadn't turned anyone into a dolphin.

I was at the archery range instructing the Hephaestus cabin: Issac had actually hit the target and not my back, Shane hadn't gotten into an argument with Kayla Knowles from the Apollo Cabin, and Harley had refrained from shooting his siblings (A very big achievement for him. He will be getting extra dessert at dinner.) Everything was going smoothly.

Of course, in Camp Half-Blood, even the smallest moments of peace never last long.

I was speaking to the head counsellors, Jake and Nyssa, at that moment about adding proper safety measures to their workshop in cabin nine (despite what some believe, we do have some safety standards at camp, just not very high ones) when suddenly the chatter around us got very quiet.

The unusual hush that fell over the children made me pause mid-sentence. Hephaestus's children were usually quiet like their father, yes, but not to this degree, especially not when they're talking about machinery.

I turned to see what silenced them.

"Good evening, Lady Hebe," I said calmly.

"Hello, Chiron," She replied.

As the goddess of youth, Hebe preferred to take the form of a young woman. Today, however, she looked like a little girl with blonde pigtails, and if I didn't know better, I would say she was around seven or eight.

She was holding a gym bag almost as big as she was—that was also moving. I don't think gym equipment does that.

She was also smiling.

Which didn't bring me any peace of mind.

"Me and Dio got into a little argument." She said, looking up at me.

Of course he did. Why does that not surprise me in the slightest? I, of course, did not verbalize my thoughts. That'd be blasphemy....However true it is.

Instead, I smiled and said, "Ah, sorry to hear that. What kind of argument did you have? If you don't mind me asking."

The fact that she was telling me this scares me. Gods can be dangerous when angered, especially when another god is the one to anger them. If Hebe was angry at Dionysus, then she might take it out on someone he cares about.

Someone like Pollux.

"Well, it's a funny story, really." Hebe's 'innocent' smile persisted as she started swinging the gym bag gently back and forth by the straps. Whatever was inside the bag did not appreciate this movement and started to move even more fiercely, like it was trying to escape.

"Dio had said some extremely offensive words to me about youth, and I simply couldn't let that slide. So, I decided to teach him a lesson about the value of youth."

Campers had started to gather around us.

My eyes flickered toward the gym bag, and a sinking feeling settled in my stomach. Whatever was inside, it seemed sentient and determined to escape.

Hebe's eyes swivelled around to look at the other campers, her grin widening. She twirled the bag straps in her hand, pulling the bag upwards before tipping it upside down.

"What I didn't account for was how whiney he was. So then I thought, hmm, where was the best place where he could learn to appreciate youth? Nowhere else but summer camp!"

The pit in my stomach settled as my eyes focused on the bag.

Tartarus relationships

Tartarus has a mostly ok relationship with many other Greek deities... By this I mean most of them fear him or at least have a verifiable wariness of him. (Understandable he is a primordial)

I can't reveal all his relationships but I can tell you the important ones.

As far as things go with his son... Anthony, They are improving. Sometimes they may act like siblings rather than father and son but at least they don't go out of their way to cause problems.

*Zeus, the notepad use it.*

Terrified of Demeter "a little bit". And by default her Daughter.

Respects Hera for tolerating Zeus. Sometimes teams up with Ares to yell at Zeus about his affairs...

Zeus is wisely and uncharacteristically quiet and behaves well for a few decades. Then does his own thing... This cycle repeats.

Everyone will probably hate me for this but Tartarus relationship with Gaea is a bit strained.

Initially Tartarus loved her (and he probably still does) but she more or less had a affinity for Ouranos. Not wrong. earth loved the sky; Tartarus probably thought it was ironic at best (don't hate him. he doesn't know what soap operas are and to be fair at that time they didn't exist..) He respected Gaea's decision and contemplated sending a gift and then sort of moved on.

He tried at least.

Flash forward some years a few of Gaea's children are thrown down. Ok Tartarus really didn't like the new complaining voices but he couldn't be bothered to get rid of them. He let Nyx make some new friends-- anything to get them to stop whining about how things weren't great with Ouranos.

Tartarus didn't give any fucks about what was happening above ground. And for a little while was out of the loop of info so he was understandably confused when gaea (haha former crush) came sobbing to him about how her grandchildren had been disrespectful! killing their own father and whatnot and how she just wanted her family to be happy but they couldn't stay peaceful to save their lives. So she'd start from scratch. But she really wanted his help. Yeah Tartarus actually fell for it and agreed.

It was good. It was fine. at first.

Gaea's last relationship didn't go well so it's understandable she'd keep her new partner at arms length. Tartarus could understand that. Tartarus was extremely patient with Gaea but her behavior drastically altered when she realized her exact position in Tartarus's mind.

If you're confused think Morticia and Gomez from the Addams family. But morticia is more manipulative (in subtle ways)

At some point it occurred to her that Tartarus had assimilated Kronos her son. Well she figured Tartarus couldn't be too bright given his location and his seemingly despondent disposition; this meant he could be fairly simple to seduce. Gaea is almost successful. Yes they have kids together but she didn't get any of the pieces of Kronos from Tartarus. Mostly because Tartarus's apathy interfered and he couldn't be bothered to play search and find

After Typhoon was sired Gaea decided the relationship was over since even she hadn't gotten what she wanted she did still get something to her advantage. Tartarus immediately fell into a depression from heartbreak and didn't recover for a few centuries. Rhea spent a lot of her time trying to get him to snap out of it. That was probably the best since her own children didn't appear to need her...

Although Gaea seperated, (since she felt it was time to explore her existence without a male) she did appreciate and thank Tartarus's kindness. Tartarus being classified as gloomy and depressing lived up to that description by making his apathy more obvious. On occasion more damned souls were carted there for imprisonment and Tartarus could care less.

At some point thirty years prior the start of the story he decided to learn why humans were so interesting to the other deities.

Yeah I know it's not accurate to the myth but I'm really imaginative and kinda self centered and it's mythology! Should be fine.

If there is a goddess or deity you wish to know about, I'm pretty sure my ask box is still open.

Adventures of Chika Hanabusa: The Restoration of Earth

Disclaimer: This book follows the events of Percy Jackson and Heros of Olympus fanfic, this fanfic will not include Trails of Apollo, The Kane Chronicles, and Magnus Chase.

Chapter 3: The Conversation

Demeter PoV

I help my Roman children with growing a harvest of different plants that fruits and vegetables grow on.

"When are we going to see you again Mother?" Denise asks. Denise is a short African-American nine-year-old girl. She wears a cute T-shirt with a teddy bear and jeans. She got her father’s eyes and his smile.

“Next weekend child, I’m here to talk to your Greek half-sister about a quest and to bless this year's harvest," I say with a loud voice, I hope I didn’t ruin my children’s eardrums.

"Ok by the way I got an A on my science test," Denise says in an enthusiastic loud voice while she jumps up and down. I high-fived her and gave her a crushing hug.

I remember I used to be all innocent and hyperactive while I was living inside Cronus's stomach. Hestia used to scold Poseidon and me whenever we played too rough with each other or when we were too loud. I can't forgive Cronus for swallowing us when we were just babies, I still hear Mother's horrified shrieks whenever I think back to the moment. All I can hope for my kids is that they don’t have to deal with a crazy parent and live happy, peaceful lives away from quests and wars. Unfortunately, my children must endure two wars because of Cronus and Grandmother. Grandmother warned me of the future of her coming back to rampage.

Flashback (After the Defeat of Cronus)

I was sitting on a harvest field away from the other gods. Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades just drew their lots and got their kingdoms. At least Hera, Hestia, and I get to decide on what domains we proceed over. Hestia chose to be the goddess of the hearth, while Hera was still at Oceanus's palace.

As was I wonder around my thoughts. RUMBLE! RUMBLE! CRACK!!, What is causing that commotion? A woman appearsoutside the crack in the ground. She has brown hair like the color of roots and eyes that are green like the earth She wears a pant that is full of metals and molten rocks and a shirt that is made of green vines.

“Sorry about the rumbling and the cracking noises. So are you still deciding deal granddaughter?" My grandmother, Gaia, asked in a low calm tone. Her voice is the movement of the ground.

"Not as of yet Lady Gaia, What do I owe such pressure for your presence?” I asked curiously. What does the Earth want with a goddess of no domains?

“I’m here to tell of your destiny. Your brothers have drawn for kingdoms, but you will have tougher work than your brothers, that is if you want it?” Gaia asked with full conviction, and she glared similarly to that of predators hunting prey. I had a feeling that she expected me to say yes to a proposition. You can never know what the old ones are cooking.

"It must be a serious deal if you are glaring at me like that. Am I going to inherit the Earth or something?" I say with nervous laughter.

“It will be similar to that; you will be in charge of keeping the Earth fertile and to keep the harvest going like that of your father," Gaia says in a monotone.

“So, you want me to take care of you, but why me? All I did was help my sibling fight my father, Zeus was the one who stroked Cronus down.” I questioned why Grandmother was willing to trust me with the huge responsibility.

"It's because you are the most responsible of your siblings. Your brothers are too ambitious for their good, Hera fantasizes about marriage, and Hestia just wants to take care of the palace. Now will you accept being a Goddess of Agriculture?" Gaia said while she was looking for an answer. This is huge, I like growing plants and I like nature. I never thought that the Earth was offering a domain to me.

I jumped up, raised my fist in the air, and shouted excitedly, “Yes!Yes!Yes!” and Gaia softened her eyes and had a small smile. I bowed in front of her, and she touched my shoulders.

“Rise Demeter, Goddess of Agriculture." She shouts as a green light emits from her hands to my shoulder. I can see all the environments and civilizations within the earth, and I feel my whole pupils and irises turning green like Grandmother.

“You will eventually get more domains as you mature and eventually the Earth. Since you are a young goddess, do you want to have children and get married?” Gaia asks in a curious tone, why does a primordial need to worry about whether a goddess is married or not?

"I do want kids, but I don't want to get married, especially to Zeus and Poseidon. I want to be free from court life and have a farm. Maybe fuck some sexy men and women, doesn't matter to me.” I say in a carefree tone and waving my hands dismissively, I can just imagine my kids and I have a huge farm for ourselves.

"I don't blame you; Zeus and Poseidon think with their groins. Most of your children will live peaceful, happy lives, however, there will be two that will suffer tragic fates. One will forever be bound to the Underworld while the other will be bound to me.” Gaia warned in a sad tone. That’s not possible, How can Grandmother warn me about this? What does Gaia's prediction mean with one bound to the Underworld and the other to her?

“The Fates and even Ananke herself are not too certain about how your child will be bound to the Underworld and the other to me. All I can do is warn you about their fates, you will have to watch all your brood.” Gaia says in a sorrowful tone, I can see her with tears coming up in her eyes and looking down at the ground or herself literally. I'm guessing she doesn't like how one of her future children will be the one to take away her freedom.

"Promise me Demeter to love your children about all else. Your children will need your love to live. I'm afraid that you will have a similar fate to me and your mother, even if you didn't marry the king. The curse of the Earth Mother if you will" Gaia says with a bitter chuckle.

I sobbed about my future children’s cruel fates, and I cried “I don’t know about how one of my children can be bound to the Underworld, but if my child is bound to you. Please promise in the name of Chaos that no matter what, you will look after her.”

"Granddaughter I will not be the same woman that is having this discussion with you right now. I might become hateful and wrathful in the future. I'm sorry, but I can't promise you that I will protect your child. The only way to guarantee safety from my influence is to make sure that your child's will is strong and incorruptible. This is goodbye." Gaia says that a single drop of lava comes from her eyes as her form dissolves in the ground.

It seems all I can do is raise my children lovely and make them strong so that they can survive such cruel fates.

Flashback Over

While hugging Denise, I could feel Grandmother's presence growing more vital inside Chika. Persephone is the one who was bound to Hades, meanwhile, Chika is the one who will bear Gaia's hatred. Once Chika is awake, I will warn her about Grandmother and the other issues affecting my domain.
