saw this (sold 😔) Margiela bag on The RealReal. in my devastation, I looked for some “japanese tote bag” patterning instructions. Thrifted a perfectly buttery-soft leather duster for $30 and used a strip from the hem to make my own. I love how the patchwork effect turned out and I added a zipper/tab for my keychains too. Plus there is still a ton of leather left in the jacket for a little makeup pouch or something. This will be my handbag for the year.
