the kitty chesire bit is mostly her power to disappear and teleport + love for chaos

as always reader is gender neutral!

“YOU. . . HAVE A FOX FORM ? !”

Your team member, Garfield, shouted into your ear as you untied him and the rest of the members after a battle you won.

Via tricking them of course. You were meant for stealth and illusions, not fighting. Most missions with the Titans had you as a scout or back-up. Rarely were you in the heat of the fight.

It was mostly due to your penchant with being a liability. Whether it was intentional or unintentional, placing you with the main group was a recipe for disaster.

It was a perfect role for you. Cause really, who enjoys sitting back and watching everything unfold? You did.

And after watching your friends getting their asses handed to them and laughing for several minutes while invisible (so that they could definitely hear you but you wouldn’t get captured). You came in to save the day.

“Oh, how could you not know BB. I thought we were friends!” You sighed dramatically while finally untying the last member and leader, Robin.

Despite your close proximity, you fail to notice the rare grin on his face.

“Hey, that’s my line! How could you not tell your best friend, huh?!”

“To be fair, it should have been obvious.” Rachel commented. Her cape had gotten covered in some unknown goop, so her voice came out strained as she tried flicking it off.

“Yeah, Garfield. Kitsune, Fox. It’s hard not to know about it.” Jaime added. The scarab on his back’s eyes glow red in agreement.

“I feel wounded, hurt, unimaginable pained—“ Garfield grasped his chest. “But you know what would make me feel b-“

“In your dreams.” You quickly answered. Already knowing what he’ll request. It wasn’t as if you didn’t like turning into your fox form. But you had a plan,

and that plan was chaos.

“I didn’t even finish!”

“Give or take another hundred years or so, then it’ll be a maybe.”

“But- But why—?”

“My kitsune form is not a party trick or just something that can be shown at a whim. It has to be special, as is the person I show it to.”

“Wait, so that’s why you didn’t show me? I thought it was cause you couldn’t do it for another hundred years or so.” Rachel perked up as soon as she heard your words. The remaining goop on her cape forgotten.

“I thought it was because only humans or other beings from Earth could witness it.” Kori crossed her arms.

“You mean it isn’t dangerous for you to turn into one in case you aren’t able to turn back?!” Dick, Jaime, and Victor all screeched in unison.

“Excuses may vary from person to person.”

“[Y/N]!”

Ah yes, all according to plan.

It wasn’t that long before you all had another mission to accomplish. It wasn’t that hard really, in fact the enemies seemed a lot weaker in comparison to the previous ones.

So why were you and the rest tied up?

“Oh no, we’re at risk of dying. Whatever could we do?” Garfield feigned a moan of pain.

“Maybe if [Y/N] shifted into their Kitsune form and got out of their restraints—“ Victor tried suggesting but, like what you did with Garfield last time, you shut him down immediately.

“No.”

Everyone instantaneously gets out of their restraints. No effort at all.

These goddamn desperate little shits—

It had been a month or so since Garfield and the rest found out you weren’t turning into a fox simply because you didn’t want to and they have yet to lose gas when it came to motivation.

It had even gone to the point where the Justice League and heck, even some villains and other unaffiliated vigilantes joined the mix. It was as if every moment someone was trying to coerce you to transform.

“Guys let’s have dinner!” Dick called out from the tower’s kitchen, not bothering with the intercoms since he knew you were close by. As a Kitsune you had a fantastic sense of smell, as such you were already hovering the kitchen since the start.

“Is that . . . [Favorite Food] and - and [Favorite Drink]?” Your mouth watered as you gazed at the dining table. All of your favorite meals, snacks, and beverages were all laid out. Ready to be consumed—

“Ah, ah! Let us see your Kitsune form first.”

You took one long stare at him before disappearing, literally. “I’m ordering take out.”

“God damn it!” The rest of the team all exit from their hiding spots, absolutely saddened by the lack of reaction and that they couldn’t spoil you with your favorites for once.

(It’s not like they can forget about your fox form and just give you everything on a silver platter. Hell no!)

You trudged to Damian’s room. Still invisible until you were sure you entered without anyone seeing you.

You reappear with a smile before shortly turning into a miniature [Favorite Color] fox.

“Tired?” Damian asked, still focused on his computer while you jumped to his lap and made yourself comfortable.

“Mm. Not really! They’re really funny when they’re like that.”

He nodded at your response and began petting you. His other hand reached forward to his phone, “Hey, are you still open? … Yeah . May I have [Favorite Food] delivered at this address…”

You faked a gasp. You knew he had been watching over you since the beginning. Normal people would have freaked out and questioned how knew but you didn’t. How could you? He is your boyfriend after all. Him knowing everything was expected. At least, that’s what he always says, and you didn’t really mind so . . . “You’re the best, Damey!”

“I know.” He finally gazed at you. The love in his eyes are as clear as day, “Now, get off. We have to pick up our order.”

There is no doubt in my mind that Red X absolutely lives for the thrill of chasing his darling and manipulating them into falling right into his trap. He especially loves to draw out how long it goes on for, both to see how much his darling can take and to see how long he can last before he needs to have them, right then and there. He aims to claim his prize and claim them he does, over and over and over again.

Red X is very much the type who takes pleasure in the games he plays with his darling, physically and mentally. He doesn’t exactly want to break his darling, no he loves that fight in them, he just never wants the thrill to go away. And the times his darling has showed him that they’ve learned from their previous mistakes or have even outsmarted him a time or two, those are the moments he looks forward to. He loves it. He takes this as his darling enjoying the game just as much as him, and it makes him all the more excited to catch his prey all over again.

Save Your Life

Summary: You save Robin, only because you don't want some lowlife criminals to kill him; That's your job Pairings: Robin x Villain! Reader [You could see this as another part to Don't Let Me Down, but not a direct part 2] [Short again]

You weren't always watching Robin, even though he seemed to think otherwise. No one had time for something stupid like that- At least not with a million other superheroes/vigilantes running around that you had to keep an eye out for. The only person who seemed to always have an eye on Robin was Slade, but that was none of your business.

With that being said, there were times where you did do a little stalking on him. That's what lead to this situation-

He was going to die. Alone. Maybe it was how he was supposed to leave the world? He didn't know, but he didn't feel good. Though his life was about to get much worse. Especially when he saw a familiar face looking down at him.

He groaned as you crouched down to his level. His eyes may have been fucked up and bruised, but he could still see you; Annoying, troublesome you.

"Wow, you look like shit."

He huffs, but doesn't respond in any words. He couldn't fall asleep, because he doesn't trust you; Although, he couldn't stop his eyes from slowly falling.

You watch as he closes his eyes, as you examine his body. His clothes were torn and he was covered in cuts and bruises. You hoped you didn't encounter it. Though, it didn't kill him, so it couldn't have been that bad- Unless it was him...

You shook your head, before raising a hand to his face. A light glow emits from your hand, before it covers his face. You hear him groan again, but you decide to ignore it. His face slowly starts to heal, with the skin quickly healing over the cuts.

He groans again, but his eyes stay close. You stand up, slightly kicking him.

"Okay, buddy. You have to get up, I'm sure your idiot friends are looking for you. So, stop being a baby and get up; you're fine."

He only groans, causing you to roll your eyes. You look around, before clicking your tongue and looking back at him. You sigh, trying to decide what to do. But before you can make a decision, the world decides to make it for you and you hear voices- Their voices.

"I think he's over here, guys!"

You quickly crouch, before flying off, leaving him for his friends to find.

Robin awakes with his neck painfully stabbing him. He looks around to find himself in the tower. He didn't remember how he got there, but he did remember that you had helped him. Why did you help him? Maybe you were all that bad- No, he shook his head. You were evil just like the rest and he was sure you were trying to lower his guard. Though, if anything, this just made him more on guard.

There was a part of him though that knew you had caught him at his most vulnerable and instead of killing him you helped him. It was strange and he didn't like it. But maybe you were changing? He doubted it though. He knew you liked causing mischief, it seemed in your nature- So for you to change, it'd have to be a miracle. But, maybe one day you would change, and he could offer you a spot with the Titans. Anything could happened, he supposes, but not any time soon.

Yandere Reactions: A darling with an ex who wants them back

Good break up meaning that they are friends or that they are able to talk to each other in a civil manner.

Bad break up with just them being not so nice of a partner when they were together. (Example of this would be them cheating but it could be other things as well.)

Cyborg:

Good break up:

As soon as he learns that they used to be exes he isn’t so cool with their friendship anymore.

In fact, before they even try anything he is keeping an eye on them. (Both physically and electronically.)

When they do finally make a move, he will be ready.

It can go one of 3 ways. 1. He makes sure that they know that his darling is taken now. (Whether they actually are or not doesn’t matter.) 2. He makes them look bad. 3. He gets rid of them.

Bad break up:

He most likely already framed them for something they didn’t do in order to get them thrown in jail or just got any dirt they have out in the open.

They are not going near his darling if he can help it if not then….

They aren’t going to make it very long as soon as they step foot into jump city.

Beast Boy:

Good break up:

It does somewhat bother him that they used to date and are still friends or talk.

He won’t let his darling know that of course but it will be pretty easy to tell whenever they start talking about them.

Once he learns that they want to get back together with his darling all hell is going to break loose.

He starts getting in his darling's ear about why they shouldn’t get back together with their ex.

He does also try to ruin any attempt they have to get back with his darling.

Bad break up:

If he was with his darling when they run into their ex, he will be on guard the whole time.

He may even get into their face if they try anything with his darling.

He does threaten if they don't back off or else if they continue.

Robin:

Good break up:

He is very suspicious about why they would want to get back together with his darling.

No matter how great they ended there should be no reason why they would want to get back together.

They had made their decision and now they “changed their mind”?

Obviously, he is going to ruin anything they try to get back together with his darling.

Even if it is just talking.

Bad break up:

There is no way in hell that he is letting them anywhere near his darling.

In fact, as soon as he learned that they were back in town he started to track them just to see what they were up to.

The moment they even hint at what they want to do they wouldn’t ever see the light of day again.

Be that behind bars or a wooden door.

Starfire:

Good break up:

She is civil towards them but still keeps an eye on them.

Now she does trust her darling not to go back to them but at the same time will be in their ear about why they break up in the first place and that they have someone else now. (That being her of course.)

There are times when she gets nervous about the whole thing and starts to think that maybe they will get back together.

But she knows that they will always choose her.

Bad break up:

They are not going to come anywhere near her darling.

No matter how they caused her darling pan they still did it and that is something that she will never forgive.

She just tried to scare them off at first but if they are persistent then they will take their faith into her own hands.

Raven:

Good Break up:

She does pay quite a bit of attention to their interactions so there’s a good chance that she sees what they’re trying to do before they even realize it.

Of course, she’s not going to let that happen. She’s managed to get so close to her darling and she won’t let anyone take that away.

Not only does she mess with the attempt to win over her darling she may end up messing with other things such as memories or their emotions.

Bad Break up:

They won’t even get a chance to get a glimpse of her darling.

Because as soon as she sees them, they are getting sent somewhere so that they can get their punishments for all that they did to her darling.

If her darling dose somehow sees them first, she is at their side in a moment threatening for them to back off.

She won’t take any chances with this kind of ex.

Could you a concept for Starfire (DC comics)?

I'm sort of pulling her personality from the original Teen Titans cartoon as it's all I could find but I hope it works. That's also the iteration I think of the most when I think of Starfire. Aged up as usual, just in case.

Yandere! Starfire Concept

Pairing: Romantic/Platonic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Overprotective behavior, Clingy behavior, Manipulation by accident, Mentioned threat of death, Vague if romantic or platonic

- Starfire is very social yet also naive.

- She cares a lot about friends and wants to be friendly towards everyone she meets.

- She's also very curious and easily distressed when people don't get along.

- Starfire comes off as someone pleasant to be around.

- She would be Obsessive, Caring/Affectionate, Overprotective, Curious, and somewhat Manipulative albeit not really on purpose.

- She just wants to know everything about you and be as close to you as she can.

- Starfire's obsession may not even register as abnormal to her.

- She's naive and a little delusional, she probably thinks what she's doing is endearing to you.

- Although she isn't dumb, she'll know something's up if you start crying or shying away from her.

- Which is why she isn't a Yandere to kidnap.

- She's more likely to cling around you and act like your closest friend.

- There's a good chance you'll have no idea she's obsessed.

- She shows she has interest in you but doesn't really force it all that much.

- Starfire would also be one to ask around for more info about you.

- She'd ask the other Titans about little things, nothing too personal.

- Just things you like, foods you eat, enough for her to feel she can win your favor.

- She's also almost always around you, often asking about how you're feeling.

- If you're upset she'll pick up on it and try to help you get better.

- She'd try to introduce you to her culture's customs, in turn listening to yours.

- Starfire is also very protective about you.

- She gets upset when others make you upset.

- She is thrown into such a rage if you get hurt.

- When you're thrown into danger she becomes terrifying.

- It's hard to calm her until she knows you're okay, too.

- She's still sort of new to physical affection, romantic or platonic, but she's probably one for hugs.

- Hugs all the time.

- Starfire is also curious about you during her obsession.

- She asks you a ton of questions to try and understand you and the feelings you make her feel better.

- She feels asking such questions makes you two bond more.

- Starfire doesn't try to be manipulative on purpose, it just kind of happens as she's around you.

- She doesn't really mean to guilt you when you try to do your own thing without her.

- She's just genuinely saddened you don't want to spend every waking moment with her.

- If Starfire could mortally wound another for you is unclear.

- The other Titans would have to try and stop her, even then if a villain nearly killed you, it may be hard to hold her back.

- Starfire cares for you, doesn't matter if it's romantic or platonic.

- She'll dedicate herself to protecting you and Earth just to see you smile.

You opened your eyes to terras gloomy room mixing in with the purple accents as she sat infront of you , “T-TERRA” she quirked her brow and gave a smirk “present,..kitty kitty” you cringed and pounced at her, finally breaking your dizzy trance, but you couldn't. A collar and red rope connected to the floor much like sotos setup had been placed around you, the only difference, was that your collar was pink with a bell as it mocked you with the small tag with the uncomfortable words “PET-TOY” written on it as you once again pounced

this time she reached out though keeping to firmly still with the threat of a remote in her other hand dangling about when she finally relaxed and chucked a bit watching you struggle in the collar and soon the tears came when she made the best of the remote enjoying herself as she watched you struggle and cry finally curling up and mumbling apologies before she decided to shut it off “that was level 2” she laughed and teased “wanna try five, kitty?” you quickly shook your head finally realizing the outfit she had fitted you into, a pink mini skirt with a loose sweater that was ridiculously big on you, but you had to keep trying–had to–. You switched sizes as much as the collar would let you but it never gave up still keeping your neck inside it as you weared out yourself quite quickly with terra just reading and kicking back occasionally looking over to you.

You just layed down on the floor “terra...can you.. Give me a blanket” she smirks and walks over to her closet and grabs a folded blanket and grabs a food bowl before walking over to your

frightened figure as she towered over and laid them down grounding some pills into your bowl along with a piece of cut up and pulled salmon “you do know im not a cat, right?” she glares and grabs your face harshly “You are now, now be good and eat” you shake and shiver but lay down and grab a bit of salmon. The mystery pills proved to be a sedative as your head went heavy and you laid on terras foot looking for some warmth “not quite deserved” she pulls her foot away and grabs a small plushie and throws it on the floor in front of you, your curiosity amused her as she watched you play around with the plush as she sat down on the couch across from you getting back down and watching your docile form reaching weakly out there for her making her give in and get up walking to you and moving your hair from your face with her gloved hand as her smile grew softer “what do you want, hmm?” you pointed at her bed and she laughed almost mockingly at you “not yet, once i get a collar slot for you” you shook your head and pointed as she scoffed still keeping a smile though and getting up “oh kitty..” she said as if you were a dumb cat–although she wasn't completely wrong..-- you wanted the comfortable bed and she sighed deciding to be kind “it'll be in tomorrow ok?” you whimper and the blanket over you isn't quite enough to make you comfy enough to sleep easy “the food will help” you reach out and take a few pieces slowly chewing and swallowing as terra watches your docile form with mocking eyes and gets up to walk to her bed

“Don't worry, you'll make a fine pet,in fact, you already have”

Jaime 'Blue Beetle' Reyes Headcanons

He's a great listener

He doesn't always understand your problems, but he tries his best to emphasize

He wants to tell you about the Scarab, but he also knows he has to keep it a secret so you're safe

Anytime you're sad, he makes jokes to try and lighten your mood

Whenever he's Blue Beetle and sees you, he tends to show off to get your attention or impress you

^ He saved you once from a villain, but instead of thanking him, you were worried about your friend Jaime

"My friend, Jaime, is still in there! You have to get him!"

He's so glad you can't see him under his suit, because he's blushing- Hard

He asks you about his hero persona as Jaime, hoping to get some juicy gossip

Unfortunately for him you're not really into heroes

"He's okay, I guess, but he's not as cool as you."

God, you sure know how to make a man blush

His family is always embarrassing him though

His mother and abuela know about his crush and always drop hints, which Jaime has to cover up, so you don't pick up on it

"Oh, Y/n, seeing anyone?"

"Mom!" Jaime whisper-yells, his face a bright red

He always has such a loving look in his eyes when he's looking at you, it's a wonder why you haven't picked up on the fact that he likes you

He's protective over you and if he sees you hurt, he freaks out

He doesn't know how to control his fear when seeing you bleed

MATCHBREAKER

inspired by TAWOG’s “The Matchmaker”episode. aka damian asserting his dominance the prequel. everyone is aged up and legal.

pairing: yan! batfam/teen titans x kitsune! reader

Damian had finally come to terms that he may have a crush on you. As evidenced by his large collection of photos, clothing and drawings. But, along with this came a slew of obstacles.

Now you see the biggest problem about his crush on you was that a lot of people also had an obsession with your magnificent self, mainly Garfield and Rachel. In addition to your newfound relationship with the former, Damian was in shambles.

And Rachel, not realizing Garfield was actually serious about his flirtations towards you, may or may not have created a love potion that he ended up stealing and dosing you with.

“So you’re saying that the reason why I’ve been suffering these past few days weren’t because they genuinely loved each-other, but because you. screwed. up?!”

Dick shook the magic-user back and forth. You had been outright rejecting his advances these past few days in favor of actually being loyal to your boyfriend and it hurt his poor ego; shattered his heart. Not only that but the two of you would engage in such aggressive PDA he wouldn’t be surprised if you two started boning during a fight.

“No, it’s because they’re just destined to be together— yes, Grayson! I screwed up!” Rachel shoved him off of her. Dusting her cape before readjusting it to cover her entire body again.

“And Garfield didn’t consume any of this Love Potion, you speak of?” Kori thought back to the times Garfield outright said how much he loved you. He was quite shameless but he never got serious or confident enough to properly pursue you when the entire team was after your affections.

“That’s. . . all on him. The Love Potion works with just one recipient.”

“That little—“

Damian interrupted Jamie from swearing, an even graver look on his face as he commander. “Titans. It’s time to play Matchbreaker.”

PLAN A: FE[A]R OF COMMITMENT

The plan of attack included several strategies. Each carefully thought out before hand. Well, for the most part.

“[Y/N] hates commitment. What if we scare them by making Garfield propose?” Jamie proposed, the beetle behind him pulses its lights in agreement.

“On it.” Tim got to working. In just an hour he had a site and link to lure you in. Running on pure determination to keep you away from Beast Boy, it wasn’t a challenge to make an elaborate trap by hacking into Garfield’s account and messaging you. That, and considering you’re a bit of a boomer. You didn’t really question much of what was happening.

“. . . You’re invited to a wedding with Garfield?” You read aloud as everyone watched with bated breaths.

But instead of reeling in disgust, it’s almost as if hearts started growing out of your eyes as you squealed, “Awe~! A-ccept!”

Everyone deflated in defeat. Some looked to Rachel in scorn. “I may or may not have increased the dosage to . . . almost unbreakable levels.”

“Why?!”

“As . . . practice. . .” Rachel looked away, using her cape to partially cover her face.

The rest of the titans collectively sigh.

“Nothing a little finesse can’t fix.” Dick cracked his knuckles.

PLAN C: [C]RIME OF PASSION

“[Y/N]. You look stunning today.” Nightwing approached you. A smirk on his face that would look menacing if it wasn’t from your friend.

“Thanks, Dick — I— “ You waved at him only for your lips to meet his seconds after. You struggled to push him away, but that only worsened the situation and prompted him to insert his tongue.

The worst part of the whole situation being that Garfield just walked in to witness that.

Rachel and Damian appeared behind him, courtesy of the former’s magic and with the latter holding a baton in his hands. “What’s this?”

“A crime of passion.”

The two were prepared to knock out Garfield if he did seriously attempt hurting you. Desperate times call for desperate measures after all, and since he wasn’t affected by magic everything should go according to pla-

“But they’re too good not to be shared!”

“Alright folks, get the big bird off of them!”

Dick was knocked out by Jason and Victor, effectively putting him out of commission for the next . . . several plans.

PLAN F: [F]URRY LOVE

“Okay who named this plan, exactly?”

Victor coughed at her comment.

“Before we start this properly I can at least make one of his transformations last a while so they don’t . . . “ Do the hanky panky. Everyone thought in different levels of crassness in their head.

“Do it.” The entire team wordlessly agreed, if there was anything they’d do everything to stop it was you getting down and dirty with the green young adult.

After an intense mission and just as Rachel’s spell dictated, Garfield was stuck in his gorilla form. “I- I can’t turn back!”

But the heroes seemed to forget that you also had a furry form and did not mind Garfield’s in the slightest, even cheering him up by saying, “It’s fine, honey. It just means there’s more to love!“

“GET THEM AWAY FROM EACHOTHER, NOW!” Victor screeched in horror, circuits frying from the terrifying sight he’s witnessing.

After promptly blasting the two of you apart for a bit, the team members hurried into their positions for the second half of the plan.

“Quick, get the lice!” Kori hollered at Jamie who was fumbling around with the box of lice he bought online. She then lifted him overhead, allowing the blue suited man to cover his former friend (he didn’t consider him a friend anymore at this point) with the insects.

“Ack! Why am I feeling so itchy?”

“Let me help you with that—“

You two are swiftly sent to different parts of the state before things get too nasty.

It has been almost a week since they started unleashing their plans upon the couple but the Titans and co. didn’t gain much ground. Your infatuation almost worsened as the days went by, and keeping you away from Beast Boy was close to impossible when your specialty in the team was stealth and espionage.

“Demonspawn? Hang on — what are you-“ Jason, who had a perfect line up for Garfield’s scrotum raised his hands in annoyance, watching through his scope as his younger brother suddenly swooped in to grab you from your boyfriend and ruining his shot.

“Well . . . That works.”

Once Damian had you secured in his room, he slammed you unto his bed.

May it be from the shock of sudden movements or seeing your own crush hovering over you, the effects of the Love Potion broke and you leaned upwards to kiss your leader.

You two spent hours tied up together before you eventually pulled away. Meeting the youngest Robin’s still angered face you laughed awkwardly,

“Ahaha . . . I’m screwed aren’t I?”

“Oh Habibti, you can’t even imagine.”

Damian was unsure of his future with you. What he was sure of was that this little fox needed a leash, and what leader would he be if he didn’t assert his authority?

so with a platonic yandere (or yanderes) how does it work, do you just never get the chance to have a romantic relationship, do they force/encourage you into one with someone 'approved' like a family friend or someone 'in the know' sort of thing, or do their feelings change or border on the romantic side as well?

Well, I find for me personally it often depends on the character themselves for like, what kind of relationship im looking for, or, yeah sometimes i just switch it up based on concept, sometimes i get a real specific idea that stays in my brain and I can go back and forth depending on, I guess, preference. It's kind of a recent-ish development for me to think of platonic yandere AT ALL since like 99% of the time my brain goes "well if they don't love you romantically or want to fuck you what is THE POINT"

And it kind of took me a while to realize that sometimes "the point" of platonic yandere can be that they technically "don't get anything back". If they scoop you up and force therapy on you, it's because they want to legitimately help you, not to say a romantic/sexual yandere wouldn't, but for a platonic one it's more I guess "selfless" because they aren't like, getting a spouse or a fuck buddy out of it. With a platonic yandere, they don't want you to hook up with that guy because, yeah they're jealous you're not spending time with THEM but its like, spending time watching movies or going to the park or playing video games, spending time with you as you, doing potentially anything, but also they have you up on this pedestal and the guy is just an insignificant little worm to them. He thinks he can date THEIR sister? Creep creep go to jail eat dirt go six feet under here's a shovel start digging

I can be so moody and contextual about the whole thing, like for example, I've been making a lotta posts about a purely platonic yandere Batfamily with Bruce as you know the patriarch and all that, basically becoming a father figure to you even if you're already an adult, where he is like emphatically "no, Reader is your sibling, S I B L I N G" and getting out the batbottle and spraying them like cats any time he may notice anyone in his house catching feelings for you, but i also thought about, (this is kind of an AFAB specific idea sorry) what if Damian specifically developed one of those weird "big sister when i grow up im gonna marry you" complexes and Bruce is NOT having it when suddenly Damian hits him with "but FATHER, if I'M Reader's husband when I come of age, then our offspring will be YOUR biological grandchildren" and Bruce finds himself sitting there suddenly vividly picturing you holding a fat little newborn with a big head of black hair and smiling up at him "dad come hold your grandson 🥰" and he's. He's gone, like, suddenly he can't see it any other way. OBVIOUSLY Damian is the perfect husband for you, Bruce is helping raise him? Who would make a better spouse for his adopted daughter than his ACTUAL son? Talk about keeping it in the family

In his eyes, his son would make a more than competent husband once he comes of age, especially considering not only is Damian his son but, extremely similar to Bruce himself; broody angsty genius with superhuman skills, intelligence, athleticism, etc. And if not Damian, isn't Dick lowkey his favorite child, and also, you know. Already an adult and not nearly as emotionally constipated 😅 Bruce can trust either one of them to take care of you, building off of a paranoia that any place outside his family and his home is fraught with danger and anyone who hasn't been explicitly vetted by him suddenly cannot be trusted in your presence

I keep finding myself drifting back to platonic yandere but only in like, almost extremely specific circumstances, like for real those age regression ideas i realized are coming from like DEEP places of trauma and rejection for me and feeling like I'm so permanantly damaged i literally need a do over and need to be all but remade from scratch, being helped when i was younger and at my lowest points in childhood, and I'll admit I've noticed most of these platonic yandere ideas usually revolves around aspects of family, fatherhood, childhood, etc. Like literally right off the top of my head, two characters who kind of got the platonic yan ball rolling were Stolas from Helluva Boss and Nolan Grayson from Invincible, both of them fathers. Of course I would absolutely let Nolan tear this ass up too though as you guys have seen, like i find the Viltrumite Reader concepts kind of keep fluctuating between "he wants to mentor you and then catches feelings" to "no he just wants to be your dad and Viltrum mentor and after your real family dies during some kind of monster attack he just straight up adopts you and moves you into his house and the government lets him bc, i mean, they need to keep an eye on you as a Viltrumite"

Of course I also like the idea of sort of a middle ground. You know, like, the yandere begins purely platonic without any sort of intentions but it develops into something deeper after they've already come to know you and you trust them, or even, they're actually totally 100% "a normal person" and something happens to you or them where they suddenly become yandere. Like imagine you know someone for like a couple years and then all of a sudden, they're acting differently. So I've also thought about, Bruce and Reader are work friends in the Justice League and his feelings begin as purely protective and platonic and he knows you for a decent chunk of time but when he starts getting to know you more personally, more details about you the person under the costume, maybe he eventually realizes he's getting extremely jealous watching you interact with other men and, maybe in the process of taking care of you his feelings change. You get wounded on the job and you don't have any family to help provide any care while you're still extremely weak and recovering and he's helping you and that's when he suddenly realizes "oh shit this line of work is so dangerous, he doesn't want you to die, he doesn't want anyone to die but like you most specifically, he doesnt want you doing this anymore" and maybe he brings you to the manor for recovery and you never wind up leaving

But typically yes, as you suggested, usually when I've picked a character to be a platonic yandere it's because I can see them being overly protective to the point they won't let you date at all, even if the specific reasons for WHY may change. Like hypothetically for some of the ideas I've had, Stolas doesn't want you to date or have sex period because he's kind of Goin Through Some Shit and this is kind of like his second go around of being a dad and him expressing some sort of trauma or guilt over Octavia and he sees you as His Extra Special Little Girl and you don't get so much as a kiss on the cheek with another person until like, he's had enough years with you to be satisfied with "your childhood" kwim. Or a yandere who declares themselves as your sibling not completely against you dating or all that but they just have EXTREMELY high standards. like lmao imagine, like, someone like Deku basically inserting himself in your life as your brother and you're like "ok fuck dude, who do you think WOULD be worthy of dating me" and he's just like "I guess someone like All Might!" Like bro that platonic obsessive little twink is NEVER letting you get laid, you suck off ONE dick and he's holing up in his room CRYING because "someone's defiled his baby sister and made her dirty" not in the sense that he like doesn't like you anymore or he's judging YOU but in his mind your "purity" has been tainted by someone else and the only solution is to like, kill/get rid of that person and "atone" by never letting it happen again, cause obviously by letting you suck that guy off Izuku FAILED YOU, and maybe at some point he snaps and you wake up from one of your mandatory sibling cuddle sessions and he's pressed way too closely to you as he declares he's the only one worthy of you and he's sorry he didn't realize HE'S the husband you needed

Really I'm just a creepy little freak and it can depend on how I'm needing or craving to feel accepted in that particular moment in time 😅
