being a Hades devotee
It would be cool for this to be a super glamorous post but truly it is not going to be. This is just my experience having been devoted to Hades.
He is a very kind deity. I know people say he is harsh or strict, and for them maybe, but for me he is a gentle push
I heard someone once say working with Hades is a leap of faith, he will ask you to jump off a cliff just to see if you believe he will catch you. In my experience this is true, and every time he asked me to jump he caught me
TW: SH/SUICIDE
I have struggled with depression since I was a young child, and I do believe this is why Hades came into my space. And even though I have struggled, and relapsed, he has not judged or criticized me. He *has* however, helped me pick myself back up, and made things easier for me to get my life together
I have tried to end my life multiple times, and every time I truly did hear him tell me it was not my time to enter his realm, and this has helped me to stop those attempts and pushed me to try and recover
TW OVER
Hades is a nice presence to have. He feels very cool, as in temperature wise, which is always nice. Like a breath of air
He has helped me to become a better version of myself and is still helping me become the person I want to be
He doesnt demand constant offerings, which I greatly appericiate as I do struggle with daily pain and lack of energy and, just things like that
He has always been there when I needed his guidance and I am grateful to be a devotee of his

a tip for beginners since it worried me when i first started: its important to note that while there are deities that are heavily connected to each other, you’re not obligated to work with both of them.
many people speak on specifically married deities (ex: hades & persephone, zeus & hera, odin & frigg). a lot of people refer to them as a “package deal” since they are heavily entwined. but it’s important for those just starting out, this does not mean you have to work with both.
as someone who works with hades, some of my offerings to him are related to persephone but i don’t worship her. in fact, when i had the opportunity to meet her and ask, she smiled and said, “you’re not mine”. we both mutually understood that we didn’t have a connection to one another but we have mutual respect and kindness for one another.
the “package deal” part is where i offer my coffee that is too sweet for hades so he said he’ll hand it to persephone instead. which is the cutest fucking thing btw omg
this is all just in an effort to say, please do not worry about having to work with two deities rather than one. don’t get overwhelmed.

Baby Trickster God Danny
It all started when the Amazons noticed God on their island. Not sure what God or Pantheon left him alone; he didn't seem to be like the rest of their gods.
But it was just as bad; he was a trickster god.
And after finally talking to him, he turned all their clothes pink. They learned he has no idea why he landed here. All Danny remember was Frostbite sending him with the Infimap away to learn new things.
As the priestesses and Hippolyta asked, Queen Hera said he wasn't from them.
Well, quasi, but Hades is too busy to take care of him, so they as Amazons are stuck as babysitters till Winter.
So the Amazons knew the best idea.
They sent the baby prankster to Diana. Let it be her problem.
So.
That was how Diana returned home and had her mother give her a child demigod into her arms and say. "Have fun."
And chaos became Diana's life, but she would not have it any other way.
A/N
Pariah Dark was a shard of Hades, so Danny defeated him.
Danny became part of Pariah shard, a lesser God part of Hades.
Or
better explained,
a mix of Halfa Demigod

Hi so I may or may not have forgotten to actually post these on here. Ofc the original concept goes to the brilliant @wolfythewitch, I've just leeched off of it because I wanted to see Elias in the Hermes suit. Also I wanted to see Jon and Martin doing a little dance. And the way I drew Tim as Orpheus is just.... so similar to how regular Orpheus looks. I am sorry. He has a boob window so it's more accurate to his character.
As I talked about in my ask to Wolfy (which I believe to be what drew quite a few people here? idk at this point), I have quite a few reasons for why I think Elias would fit the role of Hermes. Obviously he's a much more sinister Hermes, but it's a neat little concept to play around with. I think the little things Hermes says (like the line above) can be interestingly recontextualised when you view Hermes as an antagonistic force, rather than a guide/mentor. I thought it'd be interesting to see Elias as someone who helps Tim/Orpheus because he knows that it'll end in tragedy every time, and finds enjoyment in the helplessness that the audience faces knowing how it ends and being completely unable to change it. Get Beholdinged, babey!
Maybe I'll draw some Gertrude!Hermes....? Who knows - I'm currently in the middle of doing a shit ton of work at the moment, both for school and for personal reasons. I've got Mechanisms fanart happening, some concepts for myself as a Corruption avatar (nature!), ideas for animatics (which I admittedly don't have much experience in, but I will try to do it), and some other random ideas. Only time shall tell.
