Casual ways to connect with your deities
-Pray to them or just just talk with them and tell them about your day
-Light a candle and say your thanks
-Offer your meal/snack to them or bake/cook with them or for them
-Watch a movie in their honor
-Offer your morning drink to them or make a cup for them
-Assign them a plant and take care of it as a devotion to them
-Listen to music that reminds you of them
-Say good morning/good night
-Thank them for the things you see that you consider beautiful

i saw someone talking about mundane devotion (i forgot their tumblr, sorry) but it's so true. devotional acts don't have to be something huge, and neither do offerings.
something i like to do for a devotion for hades is using a mint toothpaste, or washing my hair with a mint shampoo & conditioner. devotion doesn't need to look like doing a huge ritual, it can look like anything you do that reminds you of them! if you do something in their honor, that's what truly counts. this is especially good to remember if you're still in the broom closet but want to still worship or work with a deity.

on pagan prayer
I know that a lot of people struggle with praying. and for lots of people, prayer needs to be formal, structured, and serious. but that's not the only way to pray. especially if you find it hard to follow that kind of structure (for any reason)!
I pray about anything at any time. at the drop of a hat, I'll pray. and while I do have some formal prayers I have memorized, most of it is just ~because~.
I pray to Asklepios when I have a tummy ache or the hiccups.
I pray to Hermes for good parking spots or quick traffic, or when I can't think of the word I want to use.
I pray to Ares for courage when I'm having anxiety about saying something
I pray to Hestia for a new recipe to turn out well
I pray to Hygieia for the energy to clean when I really don't feel like doing the dishes or sweeping the floor
don't be afraid to pray for ANYTHING! if you are a pagan who wants to pray but struggles, try incorporating informal prayers for small things into your life. it's okay to ask the gods for help with anything you want help with. and it's okay if you don't always have a 6 stanza prayer at the ready. just pray.

to sing, o! to sing to worshipful hestia! to  rejoice, o! to rejoice before she who lays the  banquet, who stokes the ever luminous fire so  that the home where i rest my head is wrapped in soft protection. kind lady of the hearth, i sing to thee — kind lady of the home, i worship thee. i pray to you to create a place within this wild world that is safe for me, where i may lay my  weary head, and eat without knowing hunger.  bless my home, o luminous goddess, with your  protective hands that knows the wills and ways of the fire — keep its rage banked so that i  may rest in the plentifulness of its blessing.

Diana Awakening Apollo by Carl Bertling
I cannot describe how obsessed I am with this painting.

Here you have Lady Artemis. Regal, majestic, brimming with divine breath in her role as lightbringer.
And then Lord Apollon - 😭
