Yeah having to fight Zagreus would be funny as fuck but hear me out what if you have to do the mortifying ordeal of accepting a boon from him. The divine equivalent of having to ask your older sibling for their car
I had to figure out comparative Raimi-verse and Webb-verse character strength for a fic once and found out that this scene:
has absolutely bonkers implications (and is also physically impossible).
For reference, the thing that's attached to the other end of that cable he's holding is a pre-2010 Roosevelt Tramway car. It weighs 18,300 pounds, or 9.16 tons, when empty, and it is currently loaded (though I'll be ignoring the weight of the passengers in this post for the sake of easier math). That is an absolutely insane amount of weight to hold one-handed, and he's not bracing or shifting his weight to counter it at all.
This means that Norman is much, much stronger than the 800% increase in strength promised by the performance enhancers. I don't know exactly how the ratios translate, but if Norman can hold 9 tons without effort in one hand, he can probably bench press two or three times that. Eight times the current unequipped bench press record is 6,256 pounds, or 3.12 tons, roughly a third of the weight he is currently supporting. And Peter is capable of beating Norman hand-to-hand, which requires a rough parity in strength. Therefore, Peter is also absolutely insanely strong. They're both closer to Thor's weight class than to Captain America's.
So much for the overanalysis of what this single shot means for Norman and Peter's abilities. Here's where we get to what makes the scene impossible: weight ratios. Norman is not sticky, like Peter. He does not have foot clamps on the bridge like he does on his glider. There is no physical way that a 180-190 pound dude, however inhumanly strong, can hold that much weight without skidding right off of the bridge into freefall. By all rights, this should not be a shot of the Green Goblin standing menacingly over Peter Parker, it should be a shot of a green blur getting yanked off the side of the Queensboro Bridge by the force generated by 9.15 tons of falling metal, and that absolutely cracks me up laughing.
it's so stupid but when i first started watching 911 i told one of my friends about it and they were like oh so it actually is a gay firefighter show. and i was like yeah there are lesbians? and then they were like but that guy's got a fisting tattoo 😭
Attendance has dropped somewhat. Perhaps after the Borg invasions and Dominion War, people are a little less inclined to sign up. Or maybe this is what happens after the psych test from "Coming of Age" becomes standard

They re-opened the academy after a hundred years, dragged the President of Space herself in to give a speech and the first class is made up of... 18 cadets.

I think what’s so funny is I am familiar enough with Taylor to drop her last name but Travis is still new to me so when I talk about him/them to other people I refer to him as “Travis kelce”
Gotta say, i prefer ending for original RE3 better. Feels more... personal.
Also Jill's final one-liner is better there :p

I dunno about personal. But I also have never played the original 3 so I don't know anything about who's flying the helicopter or whatever.
I like Carlos' vibe in this one a little more more (all 5 second I see of him). He seems more goofy.
ALSO "Umbrella's gone (going? I can't really hear it) down." over "The ashes of Raccoon City would be Unbrella's ashes, too." is criminal. I mean, Remake Jill's monologue about "Human greed creates monsters" is kinda cheesey and voiced very much like it came straight from an old RE game.... Actually what am I saying, both these lines suck. The second one is just more poetic imo.
I think they feel about the same tbh.
Also this is a tangent cause I'm using it as an excuse to talk about 3, but I just love the remake's Final Boss Fight because Jill is just fucking FED. UP. with Nemesis by this point.
LIKE--THE WAY SHE LOOKS AT HIM????
THIS FUCKING LINE THAT SHE SAYS LIKE SHE'S TIRED OF PLAYING FETCH WITH HER DOG?? AND THE "Come at me bro" STANCE??
This is a woman who is DONE dealing with this guy and it's SO funny to me. As if he's just a pain in her side and not something that has been actively trying to kill her the whole game.
I will say, I prefer that in the original Jill doesn't hold the rail gun and it's just mounted because...
Alright, I should prolly clarify; this is all just my opinion and I just wanted to draw out my general reactions while we've been watching TYBW. They're mostly sentiments shared by my boyfriend, John, who's been watching it along with me and drawing these just made us laugh. So take it with a grain of salt. I'm not here to argue right now.
But if you're really curious about my actual opinion (and without going into too much detail): I just don't particularly like Yhwach as a villain and the motivation of the Quincies in general are mostly lost on me. Granted, I haven't read the manga for this and maybe it's better explained there, but that's why I'm talking about the anime and not that. In the anime, the villains suck in terms of motivation and literally only feel like they exist and are doing the things they're doing just so we can watch our favorite characters do really badass shit. Like, that's all I'm getting from them. I don't feel like our characters are really growing any more than they already had from previous arcs and it doesn't feel like there's any real point to all of this past 'look at how bloody and gorey we can get with this show. In't it cool?'
I'm pretty much at a point where I'm only still watching cuz I really love Urahara as a character and I really want to see his Bankai be animated. There are a few other things I've been enjoying, but that's the biggest reason I keep watching at this point. It's just nice to see him again.
But I'll leave it there. I am gonna give it the benefit of the doubt and wait till the anime has finished before coming to any final thoughts. This is just a very brief summary of how I've been viewing it so far and just something I did to make myself and my boyfriend laugh. I only share it because I like the lil doodles. I think they're cute.
