I’m now getting why there’s so many wlw cancellations. Part is homophobia and part is women are succeeding and working jobs that are outdoing the men that no need for them.. They’re happier single and possibly interested in other women too. Women do most of the work at home, cooking cleaning, childcare, and their male partner does the bare minimum. And now, young sons are raised to listen to these YouTubers like Andrew Tate that hate women. So it’s no wonder they fear that women will be more interested in wlw in fear that these shows are getting popular (and it’s true) don’t you think?
I will just say that it's definitely no coincidence that this -- at this point attack on -- lesbian/sapphic content, in particular with shows featuring wlw LEAD characters, is coinciding with the ramping up of harmful rhetoric against women. The book bans. The right wing tearing down of Roe v Wade. Anti-trans laws. Etc. We took one step forward a few years ago with women and LGBTQ representation in media, and now, since Orange Julius gave people permission to be the worst of humanity again and weaponize their personal religious beliefs against basic human rights... have taken two steps back. We've gone beyond just reverting back to outdated mentalities though and reached a new level of just plain HATE for women.
And women who love women are the ultimate threat to fragile men. And right now there is a stark rise (or simply unmasking, I should say) in fragile men. Dangerously so.
So, yeah. It's all connected.

I just want to take a moment to think on the fact that Claudia Donovan is the only Confident Nerd GirlTM that I have encountered so far in modern fiction, anywhere, who both a) is not framed negatively in some way for being a confident nerd girl, b) doesn't have to go through an unnecessary misogynist glow-up wherein she is stripped of all of the confident-nerd-girlness that makes her a cool person, and c) is not sexualized for being a confident nerd girl. And when she does get a glow-up at the end of Season 5, it's so she can lead the organization that she joined in Season 1. She goes from being a confident nerd girl to a confident nerd program director.
More of this. More of this, I am begging, please. I want to see more characters like Claudia Donovan in this world.

“I've become violently intolerant of the phrase ‘women's empowerment,’ because I think ‘feeling empowered’ has come to signify a woman's internal sense of surrender and acquiescence to her own oppression.”

I too have sexual desires
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aren't some combinations just perfect?
Chai aur biscuit, burger & fries , Lemme Be & you 😉
While some are debatable - pineapple on pizza, Maggi with ketchup but some combinations are just shunned upon - women and sexual desires. Even a slight mention of it can lead to a good dose of bashing and mockery.
Sexual desires are not uncommon to humans and while men are, atleast to some extent, allowed to learn and discuss about it, women are kept away from it for as long as possible.
So, I'd like to ask 'why'? Why are sexual desires and pleasures JUST limited to and centered around men? Why is it only necessary to satisfy a man's desires? What about women? Why are they not allowed to think and feel sexual desires and pleasures? What about their desires?
Various research have proven that there's a gender inequality even in the bedroom. A lot of women perform sexual acts only when their partner wants to and have lesser amount of pleasure as compared to men. It's high time we open up conversations around women and their sexual desires because women too have sexual desires. It is not just men that have sexual desires and pleasures and it's high time we make space for more than just men.
Have you discussed sexual desires? Has anyone ever told you not to discuss it? Share with us in the comments below!

Empowering Women Through Entrepreneurship: A Path to Economic Inclusion
In today's rapidly evolving world, the empowerment of women via entrepreneurship stands as a dynamic force propelling economic growth and nurturing social inclusivity. Globally, a surge of initiatives is underway, aimed at fostering women's journey towards becoming thriving entrepreneurs, with the profound impact of these endeavors impossible to overstate.
The Dynamic Evolution of Women Entrepreneurship
At the heart of women entrepreneurship development lies a recognition of women's inherent potential as agents of economic change. Initiatives dedicated to bolstering women-owned enterprises seek to cultivate an enabling environment where women can flourish as entrepreneurs. This not only enhances their own economic prosperity but also enriches the social fabric of their communities.
Pivotal Objectives of Women Entrepreneurship Development
The core objective of women entrepreneurship development initiatives is to empower women from diverse backgrounds to actualize their entrepreneurial dreams. These initiatives strive to dismantle barriers and pave pathways to success for women entrepreneurs. They achieve this by providing access to crucial resources, steadfast support, and a plethora of opportunities.
Navigating Challenges and Illuminating New Avenues
Women entrepreneurs often confront unique hurdles, including limited access to capital, a scarcity of mentorship and support networks, and entrenched gender biases within the business realm. Women entrepreneurship development initiatives are meticulously crafted to confront these challenges head-on. They equip women with vital resources, comprehensive training, and unwavering backing needed to overcome obstacles and thrive in the entrepreneurial sphere.
Cultivating an Inclusive Ecosystem
Central to the success of women entrepreneurship development is the establishment of an inclusive ecosystem that nurtures women throughout their entrepreneurial journey. This involves facilitating access to financing, orchestrating mentorship programs, fostering networking opportunities, and delivering tailored skill-building workshops to address the specific needs of women entrepreneurs.
The Imperative of Collaboration and Partnerships
Collaboration and partnerships among governmental bodies, businesses, non-profit organizations, and civil society are paramount in advancing the women entrepreneurship development agenda. By synergizing their resources and expertise, stakeholders can spearhead impactful initiatives that empower women entrepreneurs and propel economic growth.
Aruna Social Ventures: Leading the Charge for Women's Empowerment
ArunaSocial Ventures remains unwavering in its dedication to catalyzing women entrepreneurship development and emancipating women to achieve economic autonomy. Through our initiatives, we furnish women with essential resources, unwavering support, and a diverse array of opportunities crucial for their entrepreneurial journey. This, in turn, fuels the economic resurgence of their communities.
In Conclusion
Women entrepreneurship development transcends the mere establishment of businesses; it embodies the empowerment of women to unleash their full potential as trailblazers, innovators, and catalysts for change. By investing in women-owned enterprises and championing women entrepreneurs, organizations like ArunaSocial Ventures are poised to usher in a future that is not only more inclusive but also more prosperous for all.
