‘So, the other day I got a book pass for witness and decided to play it as a diamond mine. Two things. 1. I was really not expecting how bad and rushed the story was. 2. Why did the outfits, specifically the ones in the Ireland portion, have to be so cute? That green plaid one with the black mesh sleeves was gorgeous. One of my favorite outfits I've seen in all of choices and it's in such a bad book’

I dont know if you've answered this but did the MC ever fought in any world wars? As a history student, your IF is very interesting and I wanted to see which side of the war MC was in
MC does have an option to fight in both the world wars. if you choose the soldier path then it is canon that they fought for the allies along with the majority of the supernaturals. since the TCS world isn’t too big on being historically accurate, i’m gonna say that people, regardless of their gender or expertise, were gladly welcomed in the ranks.
however, i don’t want to glamourize what happened in any war and WW1 was especially traumatising if your MC was a soldier. they hadn’t ever seen the sheer amount of destruction that heavy artillery could bring. the usage of machine guns, grenades, weaponized planes were fairly new and seeing everything go down in the battlefield left the MC shell-shocked for a long time. it was also the first time they had seen tanks in action; behemoth of an artillery vehicle crushing soldiers in their wake even though those who were the casualities belonged to the enemy side.
there will be some flashback scenes concerning wars and how badly it affected the MC, whether they served as a soldier, medic, pilot, naval officer, or a war correspondent in enemy territories.
