‘I genuinely really hate the VIP. not only it is SUPER expensive (in my country is like 80$ every MONTH) but it doesn't actually give any good thing to us players, like ok unlimited keys and some diamonds but like?? for such an expensive thing I would expect something more. and like almost every vip book is horrible with the same type of plot and not good writing. and honestly whats the point of making the book vip if later they'll be public? (also, i really dont like this at all, bc not only it breaks with the whole thing of experiencing a book with the fandom at the same time, it's basically impossible to play it without hearing a bunch of spoilers). anyway thats my rant, i really dont like vip’

‘I respect different opinions but I really can't understand people who think Trystan Thorne is cocky or snobbish... Maybe in the first few chapters of the first BOOK, but their growth is very obvious throughout the chapters and in the second book, they care about Luke and Ruby and their siblings, they struggle with self doubt, their love for Juliana and the guilt they feel over her death even though it wasn't their fault... I think Trystan is a very well written character not even just as a love interest I love Trystan a lot,, like so so soo much he's my fave 😭 I don't want this to be too long or I'd list all the situations where they were the sweetest ever... SORRY I'M OBSESSED’

‘i personally think "first comes love" did an amazing job of reeling wlw in for chapter 1/the introduction only for the actual rest of the book to be a complete shit show. because of that first chapter and the flashbacks i genuinely thought it'd be a good book because of the accuracy in the representation - one glance at f!blake and i can just tell she's queer (also think her and m!blake look like completely different characters), the realistic "love/dating life as a wlw" talk and the same sex marriage discussion, having other explicitly queer characters in the form of felicia and lino, eve saying "useless sapphics" (yes i know this happens in ch 2)... god if there's one definition of absolute disappointment then this book is it. also Why?? is mc so not a girls girl despite being a Literal Lesbian???’

‘tbh i absolutely hate how pb wont make customizable/"main" lis (ESPECIALLY those in books w gender of choice mcs) explicitly attracted to men. in most goc books they only seem to be attracted to women plus the male mc if you play as one (eg trystan/channing/carpenter), which gives me the impression that 1. they don't even try to hide that the lis are incredibly straight male coded, 2. they're so utterly scared of even implying male bisexuality/queer men, which makes sense given most bi characters (either implicitly or explicitly) i know are female. and in gender locked books w goc lis (kingsley, drew, reagan, nat, sam, cole/callie etc) they're always only into women and have multiple women flocking to them even though it would make more sense at the very least for a female li to also be into men, especially in books where theres a marriage/baby/affair involved. the only exceptions i can name are kieran who's confirmed bi and hayden who's only into mc.’

‘I wonder how the Choices universes reconcile the MC getting more face options in a second book than a first if a player decides to change the face in between books. For example, Endless Summer Book 2 adds 4 faces (2 male and 2 female) for the MC, and you have the option to change the MC's face in between books. High School Story: Class Act does this as well but only adds one face per sex. I know it doesn't affect anything in the story, but I find it funny that there's a possibility of the MC waking up one day and having a completely different face, but no one notices while they're freaking out. Or conversely, everyone thinks the MC got kidnapped and replaced while they interrogate the MC, who has to answer super obscure questions about themselves to prove that it's them.’

‘So we all know how Choices had the feature where you can watch up to 100 ads per day in exchange for diamonds, right? One of these ads is for an app called “My Stories: Choose Chapters” and in the ad, they advertise “The Nanny Affair” as one of the stories you can read on it. It showed Sam Dalton, the twins, him and Sofia, the whole nine yards. I think Choices may wish to vet these ads better if they can because watching an ad for a story that's on the app I’m currently using be advertised as another app's creative property is certainly an experience.’

‘Seeing the news for Hot Shot made me want Choices to go through a phase where they just put out different sports books. Like the wedding book phase they went through a few years back but with different sports. Imagine them doing one book about the MC being on a swim team but being the best at the one stroke they hate. Or a cocky basketball star who wants to be the center of attention and needs to learn teamwork. Or the world of ballet where the MC's best friends are also their biggest competition as they all fight to be a prima ballerina. If PB doesn't want to make the MC the athlete since since many sports aren't co-ed on a professional level and that could change the story, maybe the MC could be a Formula One fan who's afraid to be behind the wheel but is the STEMiest of all STEM people and uses their knowledge of mathematics, physics, and engineering to help the love interest become a top racer. Even some books that are clearly based off of popular sports movies like Bring It On or Cool Runnings would be welcome. Especially since this is an Olympic year, it would’ve been awesome to have a series about an MC training for the Olympics, competing to enter, and then going to the Olympics and winning/losing/getting a lower medal based on your choices. It won't happen this year, but maybe for the winter Olympics of 2026 or the next summer ones of 2028, our MC could participate in the Olympics as they actually happen. And Olympic equestrian or sailing book could make for a good gender of choice MC since those seem to be true mixed-sex sports where men and women compete directly against each other.’
