I was like really surprised to find out people ship dogday and catnap together, like what? ?I mean they are the only remaining critters BUT LIKE.. CATNAP... LIKE DISMEMBERED AND DISEMBOWELED DOGDAY?? like?? whyyyyy.. whY? Like like dont get me wrong i lvoe dark romance as much as the next person.... BUT.. like.. whY? im so blown away. idk why im so blown away. help!?!

(Well, I believe there are a couple of reasons. I can list off 4 here.)
(1: It could simply be the whole "opposites attract" deal. Cat and Dog, Sun and Moon. High energy and low energy. People always love putting those together, and I agree with them there.)
(2. The fact that Dogday was the last one alive before the Angel arrived.)
(Dogday himself said that he and the other critters tried to stop Catnap, and failed. Presumably, he was the one leading the other's. That's why Dogday is labeled a heretic in the first place. And yet, Dogday was kept alive while the others were "presumably" killed. Whether the death of the other critters were in rapid succession or drawn out over the 10 year's, Dogday was kept as the last either way. Meaning Catnap values Dogday or considers him important enough to stay alive in some way.)
(3. The Cartoon shows us that their relationship is supposed to be much friendly than what happened in the factory. In the VHS cartoon that was released, there were two scenes that shows a picture frame of Dogday and Catnap together. The static nature of the animation made it hard to see. Here are some clear images of the background from @amberluvsbugs, who worked on the animation.)
(Now the nature of the cartoon being for kid's. It is more likely the relationship of the two of them is supposed be more platonic, or brotherly. But you know how shippers get.)
(4. Now, how I've seen it, with fanart and the like. When people ship the two of them, it's most often the cartoon version of them. Whenever they do show the toy version of the two it's either long before The Hour of Joy happens. Or it's used as a juxtaposition, to show how different their relationship is when compared to their cartoon counterparts.)
(Now, this is all just my opinions. If anyone else has different or opposing reasons as to why Dogday and Catnap are frequently shipped together, they free to replie or reblog this post with their reasoning. Just please keep it civil and cordial. Thank you for coming to my T.E.D talk.)

Without further ado, let's get into it!
Sometimes you just need a moment to think.
Your headphones played some instrumental music as you lay on the floor like a starfish. No lights were on, making the apartment appear deserted especially so late.
Joker came home early (at least by his standards) and he thought you would be asleep by now. You were a heavy sleeper so he wasn't too concerned with waking you up. He didn't stifle his footfalls as he locked the front door and walked into the living room.
He didn't see anything out of the ordinary; he thought you were asleep.
Mac invited everyone to play a round of games tonight and for once Joker was gonna participate.
J was gonna grab something to drink from the kitchen and hop on for a few hours or at least until you woke up so he could annoy you. He stepped further into the room and proceeded to trip.
Thankfully Joker caught his balance but he was beyond confused and a little embarrassed from almost falling. So he took it out on you. "What the... Y/n?! Why are you on the floor?"
You averted your gaze from the vaulted ceilings to stare at Joker.
You found J half on the chair, half on the floor staring at you as if you were in the wrong. He didn't say anything so you returned your focus back to the ceiling, all without saying a word.
He blinked in shock. Did you just ignore him?!
Joker snapped his finger to get your attention again. All you did was tap the side of your headphones twice to stop your music.
"Can I help you?" You sighed out.
He normally didn't repeat himself but tonight was turning out to be rather unusual. "Whyyyyy are you on the floor?"
You shrugged, "Cuz I can..?"
"But why in the dark, at--" Joker glanced at the clock across the room, "-- one in the morning? Ain't it past your bedtime Bunny?"
He slipped onto the floor and crawled over until he made it to your side. You were laying on the floor in the dark and people thought he was insane. Was something bothering you? Were you not feeling well?
Joker was going over a thousand scenarios which would have you willingly on the cold hard floor. He came up empty.
So he just flat out asked you. Again.
"Sometimes I just need a moment to think. The ceiling," You pointed up and Joker's gaze followed, "Helps me unravel my thoughts. "
".....but you okay Bun?" J asked.
He laid down next to you and copied your behavior. For a time he let the silence rest as he too stared at the ceiling. There was an.. appeal to it however he wondered just how long you've been here staring into the void. Wow your ceilings were high..
Joker side eyed before he hesitantly slipped his hand into yours. He grinned feeling your hand squeeze his.
Maybe it didn't exactly matter why you were down here. Any moment Joker could spend with you was fine in his book.

TOTNT 1938 is halfway done (grrr no whyyyyy), and I have many thoughts. I will share some of those thoughts with you this evening:
- I love that this season is so distinct from the first, without totally abandoning its roots; it leans a lot more into the action/comedy, but it’s still got a lot of dark folklore and is very character-centric.
- The intro sequence is amazeballs. It’s like the first season intro and the intro from Bad and Crazy had a beautiful, unhinged baby. I never skip it!
- I love that they got back almost the entire OG cast. I’ve missed them!
- I haven’t seen anyone comment on it so I gaslit myself into thinking I imagined it, but is Yeon’s hair a good bit darker? It’s leaning more auburn than the old bright orange, although it’s more orangey in direct light. I like it, I was just doubting myself.
- Everyone is clearly having so much fun with their roles, and that’s what I look for in performances. LDW especially, but that’s kind of a hallmark of his acting for me.
- It’s hysterical to me that the writers explained the end of season 1 FIRST THING. They were like “okay we gotta fix this immediately so people stick around.” Honestly in the absence of other information I had a different theory for why season 1 ended like it did, but this works too!
- The end of episode 1 was genius. Getting them all together on the train, everyone with different information and agendas… chef’s kiss, no notes.
- I’m glad they’re giving Rang so much to do! He’s getting his romance subplot, he has his bandit gang…
- Ghost!Rang was so fun, and a great opportunity for hijinx. I love that it allowed him to hear what Yeon was really thinking, and the sneezing thing was hilarious.
- One thing I was hoping for from this season was a more in-depth exploration of what it means to be a mountain god, and it looks like we’re getting it! The information we have so far on our three mountain gods casts a really interesting light on the first season and Lee Yeon’s whole character. The fact that they were chosen for the job as children by Taluipa… I’ve gone into that in a separate post.
- Hong Joo is my new problematic fave. I say problematic because the scene where she comes on to Yeon while he’s blind really gave me the ick, but in spite of her inability to take no as an answer she’s a really interesting and fun character. Flawed, strong, hot… just my cup of tea! My love for her feels similar to my love for Taluipa; part of me kind of hates her, but I respect her at the same time.
- I’m still waiting to be compelled by Moo Young, but I’ve never tended to attach strongly to stoic characters (at least until we get a full tragic backstory). I’m excited to see more from him.
- I’m interested to see how the broader plotline plays out, considering we’ve been told that nothing Yeon does in the past will make a difference.
- Will Yeon and Rang’s dad be making an appearance?? I don’t think we’ve been told that he died, and we’ve seen Yeon talking about how abusive he was during his childhood. I’d love to see them tie up that end.
- Everything with Mi Ho was absolute gold (pun intended). Yeon is 100% going to return home and start pestering Ji Ah for a baby.
- Yeon and Shin Joo are really doing the Lord’s work getting Rang’s mermaid romance off the ground. Very accurate portrayal of an older sibling’s reaction to the younger one being in a relationship; I’ve said and done all of those things with my brothers.
- I don’t know what I expected from 1938!Yeon; part of me thought modern!Yeon would transmigrate into his body from the time period, but the alternative is so much better. Coked-up, petty, grief-addled Lee Yeon is a treat to see, and I wonder how he’ll factor into the rest of the story, if he does at all. The fight between the two Lee Yeons was epic and hysterical.
- On the topic of 1938!Yeon: I notice that his hair is in the Goryeo mullet, which I guess just means he hasn’t cut it lately. But also: his black-gray ends are gone. So he’s not cutting his hair… but he’s dyeing his ends! I like to think it’s his sad emo look.
- Yeon choked up so much blood at the beginning of episode 6 that for a second I thought I was watching a Chinese xianxia lol
- I appreciate how Yeon and Shin Ju are both spending significant mental energy pining for their wives. But also: WHEN WILL SHIN JU GET HIS WEDDING RING BACK

Titans 4x10
SPOILERS AHEAD
READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!
Oooooooohhhhhhhh what an interesting episode indeed!
I knew that we would get a fun episode when they decided to have a crossover with Doom Patrol. I have not had the pleasure of watching Doom Patrol yet, but I have loved these characters since Titans season 1.
“Mowing Mother nature’s Bush”
Cliff lines are always out of pocket, but this one was honestly great.
I thought it was interesting how Gar created this “home” and made it half nature and pulled Cliff, Larry, and Victor into his version of Doom Manor.
But I was so happy for how excited Gar was to see Cliff and Larry, his little jump hop into Cliffs arms was too cute!
Oh, and the playfulness between Gar and Vic, it was really fun to see. I felt like I was watching an episode of Teen Titans with those two. I’m really glad we got to see them on the screen together, even if it was for a short while.
Okay, we gotta talk about Connor Luther, aka Anti-hero Era Connor.
I gotta say, I like that Connor was being straight forward with Sebastian, giving him an out from doing something that he doesn’t want to. Although I for sure knew he had ulterior motives from the second he sat down at that table with Sebastian, but damn. Anti-hero Connor is something else. Straight up taking over Lex Corp, taking the throne as CEO…wow.
What a man.
But the next scene between Sebastian and Mother Mayhem was brutal. We all knew she was using him since day one, but the hurt on Sebastian’s face when he hears her degrading words,
“You are nothing”
My soft spot for Joseph Morgan had me jumping from my seat ready to fight. All I knew is that Mother Mayhem was NOT going to have a good mother’s day and I’m glad he burned her to a crisp. She honestly deserves worse.
But ding dong, the witch is dead….at least for now….
As I have mentioned before, Bernard always has great one liners,
“Bald headed psychopath”
Too good.
The scene with Kori, Dick, and Rachel was interesting. I think this is the first season where this trio sticks together the most. But when Rachel tells Dick she was better off dying than Kori, and Dick saying no one is dying, does this mean Dick has finally comes to terms that maybe someone will die?
First it was him denying prophcies,
Then it was denying more prophecies,
And now he thinks no one is going to die.
My man, we have 4 seasons of batshit crazy situations, you’re telling me at this point where the Titans are on the losing side of things you don’t think that someone will not die? *eye roll
Now we have Kori entering Gar’s World and Dick and Rachel running off to dabble in dark magic.
What is this show?!
We have Kori entering “the red” and popping Vic in the face, which was hilarious. I’m glad Gar and Kori reunited again, that made me very happy. My little mother son duo back together again.
But honestly, I bet when Kori realized she was stuck in another random place again, she must’ve been sooooo over it. She just escaped Caul’s Folly and now she’s stuck in this house Gar created.
Can we agree that Vic is 100% smitten with Kori? Like look at that man gazing at her when she hands him the bag go cold peas.
Same, Vic. Same.
The conversation between Kori and Gar was important. We can see Gar told Kori she was there for a reason and that there is something she needed to work through.
Alright,
The tennis scene, absolutely amazing. Gar and Kori were kicking ass while Vic and Larry were struggling big time.
But they brought up that thing. The thing in the DC universe that a lot of us don’t talk about because it is a touchy subject and has always been up for debate….
But why did Cliff need to bring up the p*nis debate, just whyyyyy.
Moving onnnnn,
Kori and Gar’s heart to heart,
“I love what he’s trying to destroy”
I-
I teared up, I won’t lie. That entire scene hit me right in the heart. Kori needed to forgive herself for not killing Sebastian and I’m glad we were able to acknowledge it. I trust Kori’s judgement and her not killing Sebastian may or may not be the best thing, but I guess we will find out.
Now let’s go to the deep dark hell Rachel and Dick are dealing with while Kori and Gar are having a grand ol’ time.
First off when that witch says,
“Your weapon is your love for this child”
*Screams into the void
OOOOMMMMMGGGGG
LISTEN, THE UNHOLY SOUND THAT CAME OUT OF MY MOUTH WHEN THE WITCH SAID THIS UGH.
I ceased to exist.
And then the black goop that Rachel threw up and turned into a creature I’m pretty sure I’ve seen on Buffy the Vampire Slayer…girl. I cannot.
We have Kori and Gar off in lala land, and Dick is fighting a demon, pure chaos and I am going to miss this so much.
Over at Lex Corp,
Sebastian tainted his game and now everyone is a martyr for his cause? Bernard is in a coma from this game and I am unwell. Poor Tim.
Going back to Kori and Gar. When the room starts to close in on them, and Gar and Vic start to go at it, I had a moment where I was so sad that this was the only interaction between these characters.
Ryan and Joivan have such great chemistry, and I wish we had more time with them on screen. But the few moments they are arguing and then bonding over a movie were awesome.
And of course, Vic saying “booyah” was icing on the cake.
Side note, does anyone else think Dick’s friend in London was Constantine?
Anyone? Just me? Okay.
I love Connor’s face when he realizes he fucked up. Like he is witnessing Sebastian take over the world and can do absolutely nothing about it. For a hot moment, I really thought we lost Connor, but when Tim tried hacking into Lex Corp’s firewall, I was so happy Connor had enough sense to help out the Titans. This gives me hope we will have Golden Retriever Connor back soon.
Also, the way Tim waited for Kori’s permission to commit a felony, top tier respect for mother.
Finally, Dick was able to slay the monster which woooo, but I cannot shake what the witch said to Dick about Death not forgetting him…I pray that is not foreshadow….
When Sebastian realizes the connection between him and Rachel is severed,
“I can’t feel Rachel”
and then the words from Mother Mayhem echoing
“Without Trigon’s power, you are nothing.”
Shoooooo Today’s episode is going to be wild…
Let’s see how 4x11 goes. And then there is only the Finale left, I cannot believe we have been on this journey since 2018…

Wench: See, going back to the thing earlier… That's what kinda causes me a bit of issue with the OC/Max bit. Like, do I think it's a possibility? Definitely. But I'm not sure I want it to be? Max is a highly questionable character now, and she gets worse in s2, and I love OC, so I really want her to have a decent ending
Jezebel: Is there any OC/Max stuff out there? There has to be lol! And this is very trueee!
Wench: idk, you know me and my mostly-not-reading-fic. I read some of @witchy-writer-lady’s works, but that was basically the extent of my Dark Angel fandom involvement. (It was before I got access to the show and was curious about the plot with no other way of figuring out what was going on, so I peeked at the non-smut Alec fics on AO3)
Jezebel: But like maybe OC can change herrrr 👀☠️☠️

warning: an actually somewhat positive 2 cents about Halloween ends
I just came back from the theater and was suprised to come on here and see everyone absolutely demolishing this film (I mean it’s hilarious and y’all do have a point) when I actually enjoyed it!
My mom turned to me, disgruntled and mumbling as the end credits rolled, and a ginger guy and his s/o were talking to us after the movie and saying how much they thoroughly detested it. But I actually found it to be the best of the modern sequels
I think the reason I liked acts one and two so much honestly is due to my utter loathing of Halloween kills. That movie spit on me and threw me in a dumpster. Holy fuck I hated it so. So much. They made Michael into a god damned chainsaw, he wasn’t even Michael anymore he just cut down everyone in sight, and it was so stupid I literally yelled at the screen in the theater (luckily I wasn’t the only one). So I think seeing a Halloween film where the body count is back to the single digits soothed my soul from a few years ago. Also bringing the killers back down to a more human level, just with a knack of surviving the impossible, was cathartic and reminiscent of the first five (except three bc who actually watches that one) films, which imo the brother Michael to Jamie niece pipeline is superior (when Paul Rudd gets added to the mix is when I start hating it and switch over to H20).
I also love next gen nonsense, and I and aware I am hereby the scum of the earth, and that’s where this movie excels for me and also majorly disappoints. Because I thought we were getting the transfer of evil from Michael to Corey, but also a what if Laurie didn’t fight for good and instead submitted to the lure of evil and it’s ease? I thought the inclusion of Alyson in that was cool, however they totally fucked it up.
Because at first it’s like oh Alyson doesn’t want to fight it anymore, or maybe she was cristened in the evil because of how she grew up and wouldn’t that be the perfect way for Michael to win if not in flesh: Laurie’s own granddaughter committing to evil. However they just didn’t do that?
All of a sudden Alyson isn’t .. dark. She’s just done with her phase ????????? Like whyyyyy it could have been so perfect why must you do this to me?
Also in the vein of massive disappointment yet mid movie satisfaction is Corey’s whole character. Because I liked how he was a mild blend of young Laurie and Michael (smart baby sitter -> killer ig is the only link lmao) and some of the set up was clever if not slightly crude in execution; i.e, him sleeping and sort of hiding in the home of his first kill, much like Michael hid in his childhood home where he killed Judith. I loved that idea, and giving him his own mask, specially a creepy Halloween one reminiscent of Michaels clown mask which I thought was cool.
But THEY JUST KILL HIM ??
I waited for the end of the credits in hopes of a scene shot from the window of Jeremy Allen’s house, with nothing but breathing for audio, and a slow shot of someone picking up the scarecrow mask and looking out at haddon field from the window.
But, no. 🗿
However I still have hope for this, idk why I guess I’m just delusional. However considering Michael let himself die imo and allowed himself to be carried to the massive meat grinder, and that Corey sat up after being stabbed in the neck, I get the impression Corey could have sat up after his neck was snapped (considering he was shot multiple times and sustained two falls from fatal heights and a fucking neck wound but what ever) and if Michael wasn’t ready to go then he could just punched the window from the roof of the car, so I figured that scene when he was over Corey was a sort of eye signal thing to take over the mantle bc the whole movie he was turning to Michael for guidance but it was his time to fully grasp the role. Therefore Michael allowed them to kill him and destroy his body as Corey became the sole owner of the form, which would explain why both of them were in mid strength throughout the movie bc evil incarnate can only fulfill one form fully.
But. No.
And if not that, I figured Alyson would then be who the evil was transferred to. Idk I guess I supposed she was going to play an actual role in the film but … sigh.
So yes while I have many complaints about how they dropped the ball with the end, what this movie could have been, and what it delivers in the first and second act make this one of the more compelling sequels imo, and by FAR the best of the new three, in my opinion at least. The last two new ones were honestly disrespectful to the franchise imo and completely misunderstood the point of Michael: he’s not like a machine gun. He’s scary cause he’s evil and stalks his prey, not because you guys found some cool and gross cgi to attach to your film and decimate an entire town population. That’s an apocalypse atp, not a slasher or killer.
So this one definitely payed wonderful homage (ty for adding the picture of Annie and Linda 🥲, the knitting needles!! Someone stabbed on the wall, and Corey standing watching Laurie like Michael in the first film) and had a decent vibe that fit in with the original imo better than Halloween kills (my genuine arch nemesis). However the ending didn’t just fall flat, it fell from an eight story building.
HOWEVER. THEY ADDED DONT FEAR THE REAPER IN THE END CREDITS. And I feel that song should get more credit as the iconic Halloween song.
And though many are upset about Michaels lack of screen time, I was honestly so pissed that they made him a terminator in the last film, I was okay with it.
And Laurie, dear, pls step on me.

Holy shit do I get you, the worldbuilding, the horror, the story of this little girl searching for her mother, it's all SO GOOD until the author does something creepy with the characters again and reminds you why you hate them.

like, some of the things I've read, like Mahou Shoujo Site, are pretty dark and CERTAINLY have their issues, but I still enjoy a lot of the aspects despite it all, like the trans girl who is amongst the bunch of magical girls and these traumatized girls just banding together to stop a greater evil.
It's just something I have to put up with and I can understand anyone who doesn't want to deal with that, like, you are very valid, have a nice day.
In the meantime, I'm just gonna keep reading and keep my guard up.

I wanted to- No. NEEDED to love this as FBAA was not it for me and the start was fucking AMAAAAAAZING. Seriously. I was reading this and loving it and I was like yes! JLA is back! It was like a 5 star read but slowly the language started slipping and Sera became so fucking stupid and I was getting lost in the plot so only read like 70% of this because I’m gonna re-read FBAA and read that series first (before picking up flesh and fire again) I actually bought From Blood And Ash Series’ second book so hopefully I’ll read them December/January time.

A Court Of Blood & Bindings By Lisette Marshall (Fae Isles Book 1)
//* - I cannot believe I love this so much for a MMC who doesn’t physically speak he’s swoon worthy and the FMC has me so engaged and intrigued what she’s gonna say or do next. I’m only on Chapter 15 but so far this has me feeling like it could be a 4 star read.
The only thing I don’t love so far is sometimes the language used slips into modern language/words and the FMC Emelin is sometimes doing some seriously stupid shit like not telling the MMC something that I’m like seriously!? Whyyyyy !! It’s just to build tension buuuuut other than that I really love this book so far.
Yes, I can see why some people will say it reminds them of ACOTAR but I mean when it comes to Fae Romances don’t they all remind us of ACOTAR a bit !? I don’t mind it.
The magic system is so unique and interesting and the court is kinda cool too and Emelin’s background even is not seen in a lot of Fae Fantasy books so I’m down with it. I can’t see myself not liking this book which I’m so glad because November had a LOT of DNF books from me!!

I can't believe this is chapter 20. We're sooooo close to finishing this.
PRE-BATTLE
I still think "those who slither in the dark" is such a silly name. Does anyone know if it sounds better in Japanese?

Dorothea doesn't vibe with neo-punk. Got to judge her taste here. That looks like a lit computer background I'd totally watch the anime of.
But man I wish Rhea being here meant she's a playable character now. Other past FE games gave us a last minute super-character. She couldn't been Athos or Tibarn or whatever. Why.......
Oh, God, why do they want Byleth more than the others? Isn't Rhea more important?

I guess it wouldn't be fair for Seteth to have dragon-shifting abilities since he's already Seteth.
Doesn't Byleth know? Green hair = dragon, duh. Just like blue hair = lord.
Oh, God, are they putting Byleth in charge of Fodlan -_-
Let's see, do I want to be King of Fodlan, or go back to being a mercenary. Gee, this is a really hard choice. /s

For this and Verdant Wind, the next chapter is the last chapter, right? So after I beat this upcoming VW and AM chapters, everyone has their last chapter ready (with CF and AM having back-to-back final chapters, man it's been forever since I played CF).

Behold, Jam City at their lowest: forgetting that they forgot to include the whole freaking plot in the previous year.
Yeah, I don’t think that they confused Beatrice with Merula. I’m pretty sure that the Wizard in White was supposed to attack Merula, too. Still, it doesn’t change the fact that they didn’t include it, so that whole scene makes no freaking sense because Merula never even met the Wizard in White. For fuck’s sake.
Y’know, I was annoyed basically by everything in this chapter, but this bullshit? I’m gonna rant about this bullshit – so under the cut it goes.
So, for what exactly the Wizard in White goes on trial? For attacking MC, yes? You mean “knocking them down and causing them a few bruises”? I don’t care that there was something else planned, I’m judging this situation by what actually happened in the game. WIW did basically nothing, MC didn’t even lose their consciousness. Chiara – a sixth-year student – was perfectly capable of healing our damages. Yes, she specialises in Healing magic, but still – she’s just a student.
How about we put on trial Alistair fucking Fidgen? Y’know, for scamming teenagers, for example? Or for ATTACKING Jae when we wanted to get an Invisibility Cloak from him? Or how about we put on trial that Dark Witch who made Jae, Bill, or Merula vomit slugs during our first visit to Knockturn Alley?
How about we put on trial Alastor fucking Moody? The war hero who was responsible for Dementors present at Hogwarts? Y’know, the same Dementors who attacked three students right before Rowan’s death? And no, it wasn’t the case of a Dementor going rogue. There were so many of them that they had to be sent by someone. Seriously, how the fuck Moody even still has his job after this?
How about we put on trial fucking Jacob? Especially that we actually have physical proof that he works with R. Y, know, the one which led to Rowan’s death. THIS one:
How about he finally explains himself about it?
Seriously, can vault!Jacob just perish already?
And you know what’s the worst in all of that? That there absolutely should’ve been the plot of interrogation in the Ministry – but it should’ve happened right after Rowan’s death. Why MC, Merula, and Ben weren’t interrogated by anyone back then? Why we didn’t talk about any investigation in regards to a fucking murder? But causing a few bruises on MC? The Wizengamot trial! For fuck’s sake…

Also, can someone explain to me the logic of this stupid child?
First of all, why would he even talk about it on the trial? I don’t think he’d want to reveal something like that to everyone. And if MC assumes that they’ll force him to tell the truth, then he’ll also say that he wanted to KIDNAP MC to make them the leader. How the fuck would anyone think based on that that they’re “an agent of R”?! And Moody was there to testify that WIW admitted that kidnapping was his goal!
Oh my god, it’s so fucking stupid… WHYYYYY?
The only good thing about this chapter was about the Wampus Cat tears because it allowed me to crack what happened at the Ministry with the Metamorphmagus - and it’s actually sooo good (a post on that coming up). But of course, Jam City can’t give us too many good things, right?

Dissecting: Edens Zero Ch. 130-134
Kleene/Jinn
I was reading Ch. 83 and found this.
See, I don’t know if Mashima plans his story out or if he develops certain plots on the spot because everything is connecting. “Oh, I could use this later...” Brilliant. Amazing. For real though, I was like damn it’s the Mildian/Sun Jewel arc again (Xiaomei’s battles foreshadowing).
Shura vs Ziggy
It was interesting to read that Shura isn't the biological son of Nero. This leads me to think...what if Shura and Shiki are related? I mean they both have gravity ether and they both were taught by Ziggy. They both are also strong in their own right. We also have the theme from Fairy Tail of Good vs Evil (Zeref and Natsu) but in this instance it would be Shura and Shiki. We also don't know where they came from - their origins. Plus, Nero says that his power was incompatible with Shura but he was able to match with Ziggy's gravity powers.
Later, when the crew of Edens Zero find another relic (Robo Cola cap), they infer that Mother could be a place and a person. I was also thinking that because in FT: 100 years quest, Aldoron was a dragon god but his body was home to 5 cities.
So, if I'm right then, Shiki and Shura maybe are from a city on Mother...and maybe even Rebecca.
I'm noting that Shiki is younger than Shura. When Ziggy was training Shura, that was 15 years ago but, that's also the same time Ziggy found Shiki as a baby....unless Ziggy is lying and he has false memories. 👀👀👀 Is Ziggy truly good or bad? Does Shiki have additional powers like Rebecca?
What is the all-link system? Looks like Shura and Ziggy have the same idea. I think if Shura and Ziggy battle - Ziggy will win. What did you guys think?
Xenolith and the Crew of Edens Zero
I wonder why Xenolith's maintenance is lasting longer. Perhaps it may be revealed in the future. I would laugh if he moved his consciousness/personality data into a younger robot body.
Weisz stays being a perv lol with the bondage training.
Did Xenolith teach Shiki 'Black Sky?' For me, I feel like in the next arc, when Shiki is facing a really tough opponent we will get flashbacks of his training with Xenolith and him learning Black Sky. Then, he'll perform it against the enemy...which could be Ziggy. So, yes, I think Xenolith did teach him. Could be wrong but we'll have to wait and see!
Both Xenolith and Xiaomei have stated that Rebecca's power will change/save the world/universe.
- Xiaomei (Ch. 64): "She has only just begun to unlock the secrets of Leap’s real power. This power may truly save the universe one day."
- Xenolith (Ch. 132): "Her power is weak…but it is the most special. Special enough to change the world."
Witch calling Rebecca a 'Chrono Witch' is giving me Scarlet Witch vibes...

Fan service with the bath scenes but, at least it is keeping the story going, in that, she has to train in the bath in order to get stronger. Sister makes me geek, "You better get out of those ropes before this turns x-rated." When I read that scene, it gave me Virgo vibes from FT.
I also want to see how Xenolith met Ziggy. So, I'm wishing for a flashback.
I don't know if I put this on a post before or not but, my thoughts are that Ziggy did reach Mother and found Shiki there. He erased the Four Shining Stars memories because something bad would happen if he didn't (like they would get infected the way he is now). So, he did it to save them.
UGHHHH BUT THAT CLIFFHANGER...WHYYYYY - It'll probably blow my mind when it gets revealed.
Also, WOOHOOO! Jinn and Kleene joined the crew. That cute ass smile!!! OOOMG his face when he isn't able to untie Kleene. 🥺🥺🥺
The Oceans
So cool to see the winners of the Edens Zero character competition featured as the Oceans 6! I'm a fan of all of them and don't you worry...we won't forget Shura's assistant even though she's not part of the 6. However, she might be since Shura killed off Cyca. Yikes.... RIP Cyca
Their designs are so clean!! (Sorry if the images look blurry Tumblr only allows 10 photos per post so I tried stitching them together in Illustrator but I think the file size is too big for Tumblr so that's why it may be blurry but, I hope you get the gist of their designs.)

I wonder what she means by that...I feel like this will be important later. We also don't know much about the other members of the Oración Seis Interstellar. I'm excited to see what their ether gear is...especially Eraser. 👀👀👀 Does his ether have something to do with erasing things? Are they corrupt or good guys? I guess we'll found out soon...
B-Cube
Rebecca has carved 'Edens Zero' onto her B-Cube. Did you guys notice in Ch. 134 that Rebecca's ingrained B-Cube is the same one we see in Ch. 4? That's the scene where there are two robots 20,000 years in the future who find two bodies (a man and a woman) and a B-Cube which we can now confirm is Rebecca's.
The Ships + Other Notable Mentions
LOL I feel like if I was a B-Cuber, I would be an entertainment/fashion channel....basically like Sorcerer Weekly but make it Space Weekly or a cool name like Into the Void. Maybe a play off of 'Cosmopolitan' but shorten it to 'Cosmos.' So many options.

I'll say it again...I SHIP IT! I am hoping for some more scenes with them together. He always looks so cute when he blushes <3 He's a Homura stan too hahah. 🥺🥺🥺
Predictions:
- Creed and Homura will fight
- Creed will protect Homura again
- Homura will save Creed
- Creed will join the Edens Zero crew
Now, I was reading on a few discord channels that people are comparing Creed to Mest (Fairy Tail). Now, I am really trying to understand this comparison because frankly, I don't see it. Creed has a crush on Homura. That's valid. Also, Creed doesn't just have pictures of just Homura, he has Weisz, Rebecca, and Shiki. He's not creepy like Mest.
Mest was a weird guy when we first met him laying in the pool or eating flowers. Their personalities are totally different IMO. We could talk ages about the age gap stuff but I'm not really gonna go into that.

Shiki escaping from his restraints to save 'Rebecca' made me happy lol. It makes me think what he would do if it was Homura or Weisz in that situation. What would Shiki do? Plus, after the simulation was over...we can see Rebecca in awe and blushing.
Then, Shiki is hugging Rebecca and they're both blushing 💕
That's a cute moment ngl.

The moment he saw the child was different from all other jobs Din has accepted. Countless bounties in countless sectors, all different species, backgrounds, and reasons for the bounty on their heads, but each with the same reaction. Every single bounty that Din has brought down has the same fearful look in their eyes, an instinctual reaction to the realization that their pursuer was a Mandalorian. But the way the baby looked at him and the droid, the fear in its large black eyes… such expressions shouldn’t be worn by a face so young. Din would not have been able to live with himself if that emotion were the last thing the child ever felt before death. So he took down the droid, only thinking of his payment after the fact.
When he reached for the child, leather brushing against skin, some of that fear left its eyes and was replaced with quiet curiosity. Din knew then that he had made the right choice, even if the creature would be turned over to the empire’s dregs soon enough.
He walks with the child now, the metal bassinet open to the environment as it floats by his side. A risky choice, he knows. Anyone else with instructions to terminate the quarry has a clear shot right now. But the thought of the baby locked in the dark while waiting at the encampment sends pity through Din’s chest, so he set the covering to stay open and lets the baby view the sky.
To Din, this place is a wasteland just like every other desert planet, acrid, dusty, and void of life. The only lifeforms here are ugly, twisted things, constantly fighting over limited resources just to barely scrape by. The kid is staring at his surroundings in awe, and despite Din’s reservations, he begins to see the landscape with more color. The enthusiasm the baby has is rubbing off on him.
The kid keeps turning and looking at him though, twitching massive green ears while it observes it’s armored escort. Din feels oddly self-conscious under its watch, the growing trust in its eyes does not help to bury the thought that keeps returning to Din’s mind. What could the client want with a child?
The hiring process was undoubtedly strange. It isn’t often that a bounty comes with the stipulation of being brought in warm, most clients tend to want them out of the way no matter the method. That doctor had insisted he keep the child alive, however, that man was clearly not the one calling the shots. The other white-haired man had handled the entire exchange regardless of interruptions. In Din’s eyes, it was clear who was in charge there. The baby is still looking at him, its tiny, fuzzy head tilted in interest. Din considers closing the bassinet to escape those eyes but eventually decides that he can deal with it. How many bounties have begged for their freedom, their lives, groveling at his feet? The child’s age should make no difference to Din.
It’s just a quarry, Din tells himself, an asset to be traded.
The child squeals loudly next to him, startling Din into pulling his blaster and twisting around to attack the pursuer. There’s nothing. As far as he can tell, the only movement is dust blowing gently through the prickly bushes that litter the valley. He looks at the child, irritated by the way it startled him. It’s currently leaning over the opposite edge of the pram, ears pointed forward in interest. It babbles at something, reaching over to point at the ground.
“What?” He asks it gruffly, reholstering his blaster and standing with hands on his hips. The kid whips around and shrinks under Din’s glare, feeling the heat of his eyes even through the visor. He softens at this, that vexing feeling of guilt shooting through his chest once more. Just at that moment, a lizard scrambles out of a bush and runs right at Din’s boots, the kid straightening up again in excitement and squealing at the sight. That must’ve been what it saw, Din thinks, no one is after us yet.
Much later, Din will wonder why he used the word “us” at that moment.
He sighs then swoops down and scoops up the lizard, holding it gently in his palm while approaching the child. Both the child and animal are gazing up at him with a puzzled look, wondering what the Mandalorian is trying to do. Din wonders that himself, but he pushes the thought away and crouches in front of the bassinet, holding the lizard up so that the baby can get a closer look.
“Just a lizard, kid. No need to shout.” The lizard is squirming in his fingers, trying to escape his grasp. The child babbles and coos at the sight, trying to reach up and take the creature from him. Din thinks about how he mentally referred to the child as a creature when he first saw it, regretting his choice of words. The lizard he holds now is alive, yes, but the clear intelligence of the child compared to the lizard sets them apart.
He brings the lizard closer to the child so that it can touch it, reaching out with one tiny green hand to prod at the thing. It awkwardly pats at the poor lizard's head, looking back and forth between Din and the animal, making cooing sounds. It sound’s like a question so Din answers without thinking.
“It’s a Squamata lizard, looks like a young male. Gentle with it.”
Din wonders about the gender of the child, not wanting to keep calling the baby an “it”. The child's gender was not included in the information the old man gave him, age alone is the defining factor of the child. Perhaps it is a male. He would ask but it doesn’t seem to understand him, at least from what Din can tell. He doesn’t know why he’s spoken to the baby out loud. Three times now.
Feeling peculiar about this whole thing, Din sets the lizard back on the ground and rises to his full height, watching with the child as it skitters away. Once it disappears from sight, the baby turns back to Din, frowning openly in disappointment.
Din resists the urge to tell him that everything will be fine.

- this one is pretty famous so I’m expecting it to be good. I’d say the 3 caballeros and this one are the most famous out of the war era. I want creepy, funny, non sexist and non racist plz. I’m expecting it to be less experimental both in animation and storytelling but we’ll see. Guessing it’s 2 different stories too

- it stands out as the most normal movie from this era. It’s kinda like fun and fancy free but that one at least had the narrators on cam and live action to make it more different. This one felt more traditional disney from the other eras but still it’s a movie of 2 shorts. The 3 caballeros is still the better one
- finally finished the war era movies. Had never watched any of them so I’m happy I finally got to it. I think the only disney animation movie that I haven’t seen yet is down to fantasia 2000.

Ishqbaaz Liveblog, E1: Yeh Lo, Intro Waala Episode Aa Gaya
Nahi nahi, don't be afraid. I'll never leave IPK. I was just craving desi trash with our favorite tropes and classic scenes and @tellywoodtrash has convinced me that IB fits the bill rather spectacularly.
And since it's me - toh iska and things that could have been in IPK ka lamba segment toh hoga. And things that IPK did better.
In short it's this one clip of Omkara and Gauri that's been floating in my head, that's everything Khushi should've said to Arnav convinced me to watch this.
Beware, I'm very bhadda at liveblogging but please enjoy the ride.
