I think I also want to explain my big bias about romance in epics: a heavily opinionated thread
Keep in mind, I’m not trying to throw shade at any indie creators who do this, just trying to explain my style and why
I really don’t like “Star-Crossed” Lovers and “Love interest to be built up and killed off” tropes. Not sure I ever did honesty.
I get why they work, they just don’t work for me. Unless like Peter Parker they get another chance again.
And three franchises were the final straw for me, and what drove me to go indie along with being inspired by indie works of others
First it was RWBY the tragic end of Arkos and what I feared to be sane of Black Sun among others along with the doomed fate of Oscar Pine
I tried to express my distaste of it on tumblr on my past accounts and RWBY wiki discussion forum(big mistake, I know) and I regretted it so much
Never had I met a fanbase so arrogant, self righteous, and sanctimonious about this kind of stuff, going on how amazing these tropes and dark stories like RWBY initially seemed circa V3-Finale along with Madoka Magica and Akame Ga Kill were and sneering at anything even one shade lighter than that
They were either passive-aggressively judging and gaslighting me, or outright lecturing me
How a epic story that has Dork knight and a lonely warrior woman isolated by society crushing on him, or a unlucky moody girl and sunshine himbo, a doomed hero having a well earned happy ending, especially if it involved resurrection as a good thing was nothing but “pandering”, petty, and worthless and the preference of the weak and cowardly
Even one fan said “people don’t find that interesting, sorry.” And that another fan seemed to stated characters like Pyrrha and Jaune are only fit for tragic endings because “that’s the kind of character she is” both of which these fans spoke as these things were gospel, or they themselves had some kind of storytelling authority
Then I heard about Superman and Lois Lane getting married and having a kid and even Bruce and Selena getting hitched, until hearing both marriages get trashed along with a few others

It was absolutely MADDENING to me
"Heroes shouldn’t have happy personal lives. They are committed to being that person and committed to defending others at the sacrifice of their own personal interests.
That’s very important and something we reinforced. People in the Bat family their personal lives basically suck. Dick Grayson, Bruce Wayne, Tim Drake, Barbara Gordon and Kathy Kane. It’s wonderful that they try to establish personal lives, but it’s equally important that they set them aside. That is our mandate, that is our edict and that is our stand."
Like, these guys want to hopeful, but only in certain ways the pop-culture/literary ‘intellectuals’ deem acceptable as well as what they deem to be ‘interesting’ and what I had in mind did not only not qualify, it was seen as outright heresy
When I brought this up in my grievances with stories like RWBY, one holier-that-thou jerk supported it because
“Single Batman and Superman sells well”
After writing my preferences off as “pandering” and only for the likes such as Disney and Marvel,
The Self-Centered hypocrisy was staggering because what he said and his many followers were basically saying this;
“We don’t like it when your niche interest stuff is forced into our stuff, but when the case is in the reverse? We’re totally cool with that, and we hope it keeps happening.”
other fans said what I wanted was only for sitcoms, imposing themselves as gatekeepers of *epic storytelling itself*
From where I was standing, there is a growing hatred of couples in epics go through and making it and even getting married and having children, especially those of certain dynamics all under the guise of “hopepunk” and “The Greater Good.” Or whatever the term is now
Prattled on by conceited fandoms who in my opinion, have become a bunch of literary snobs who think way too highly of themselves
Who go around deciding what ways are legitimate “raised stakes” and “consequences”,
both which might I add are defined by their *own* standards,
along with their own preferences, especially fates for of certain kinds of ships and characters, which they flaunt as “objective” and above those of “the unwashed masses” in order to justify glorifying them as well as themselves for liking them

Which then afterwards these fandoms pressure these standards onto aspiring writers such as myself or be exiled to sitcoms, romcoms, Disney, or Marvel.
Because it’s not “entitlement” if it’s directed at the peasants I guess.
That along with the fact their so insecure and discontent with just being different, they need to feel superior than others for their own preferences
Nor they can’t handle the idea somewhere out there there is story that have characters like the those of the stories they enjoy, but with a different outcome
All epic fiction, its characters, its settings, its themes, its use of its inspirations, the creator’s style needs to begin and end on terms of these self-appointed arbiters who, once again, try to justify by presenting their preferences, tastes, and “personal emotional beats” as objective and superior
And once again: I’m *NOT* saying creators who goes with the tragic romance route are bad or malicious, most of them are just doing their thing
This problem lies with sycophantic individuals among fandoms who appoint their chosen champion’s ways as law and act offended on their behalf, even though they never spoken to these creators personally nor did these creators asked them to pick up a sword in their name and are not held accountable for their behavior
And what’s worse, is that these groups imply epic stories where heroic couples get married and have families are allegedly incompatible outside of Disney or Marvel or else it ends up as terrible story
Which they will imply is the case for stories like DragonBall Z, Sword Art Online, and Naruto/Boruto
But when *their* way of doing things ruins a franchise like DC comics and people complain about it?
It’s the whining of unwashed masses or vocal toxic minority opposed to the enlightened few or informed majority
Because *their* way makes everything better and always will
It’s incredibly self absorbed and narcissistic
So that’s why I’ve been so keen on having my heroes find love, get married and having families. Especially ones who’ve been through so much sorrow.
I’m just weary of this and tired of fandoms telling me when I’m disappointed;
“It’s not for you” and implying “nothing should be for you and everything should be for us”
And I’m certain I’m not the only one who feels this way
You don’t have to share my personal tastes and distaste’s in story beats in epics, once again, I just want you guys to understand.

Yes! I try to, at least, though sometimes my responses are painfully delayed. I like hearing what people think about a story, I want them to know their comments are loved and appreciated, and sometimes you end up getting into a discussion like back in the Good Old Days on LJ.
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Man I really do not write a ton of stuff that doesn’t end happily /just went through all my fics
Angstiest ending of things I've posted is probably either the Kanjani superheroes AU or the apocalypse akame fic? Has my tolerance for writing lengthy angst lessened with age?
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
As I said above, most of my stuff seems to have relatively happy endings. If I were to pick I might say O I Think We Should Be Brethren, because it takes the longest and hardest journey to the ending, which makes it feel more impactful to me.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I got one "hate" comment on the Kanjani cannibalism fic from someone who thought I was sick and needed therapy, or something to that effect. Otherwise, nope.
9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?
Yes. I would say my smut wheelhouse is kinky porn with feelings, I guess?

I do not.

Story I started for a fic exchange in, like, god...2014 or so? In which Yoko kisses Hina, then hits his head and wakes up in a world that's just a shamelessly silly amalgam of J-drama tropes. Sometimes I read through the doc and go "man i wish the author would update"

Sensory description, wanky poetic bullshit, smut, scenes with no more than two people in them, banter-y dialogue

Endings, complex plots, ensemble casts, scenes with three or more people in them, transitions, being a complete baby about taking criticism, endings, endings
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I don't see a reason for it? You either need to add a gloss with a translation (if your POV character and audience are intended to understand it), at which point you may as well just write "Screw you, McKay," Zelenka said in Czech; or you want it to be incomprensible to the reader, at which point you may as well just write Zelenka muttered something in Czech as he stomped away. If your reader happens to understand the language you've written in and you're not confident in it, they'll be annoyed by the weird grammar you've gotten from google translating it, and even if you are, you're losing the effect of someone having said something that your POV character shouldn't understand.
......................apparently I have an Opinion on this? who knew.

Cardcaptor Sakura, when I was like 13? I may have posted it on FF.net but if there's a god it's been lost to the sands of time. I do not think it was very good.

Lies, or Truth?
Just as the title says: DID AKAME LIE when she said she doesn’t know how to use her TRUMP CARD? This is something I’ve been thinking over tonight, and I think I’ve come to the conclusion: NO, she genuinely didn’t.
Why do I feel this? HOW could she not know? Well, let’s break it down.
Firstly, when Akame learned of the TRUMP CARD, it was in Gozuki’s final moments, as she stabbed him through with the blade, and SUBJECTED his heart to the curse. He didn’t tell her because even HE didn’t know, in fact his exact words are just this: This Teigu possesses a Trump Card...it involves discarding one’s humanity. I was never able to use it, but you might be able to... He didn’t know what it took to unleash the trump card at the time, so he DIDN’T TELL AKAME how to!
And he couldn’t use it on her, EITHER, because of this.
So how did AKAME learn it?
She didn’t. She was FIGURING IT OUT slowly, however.
We move half way through the story, Akame and Kurome have decided to show up one on one: to end their Rivalry. One dies, neither leaves until this is over. Because that is how they must do things: IF EITHER IS TO DIE, IT MUST BE AT THE HANDS OF THE OTHER. The day prior, Tatsumi visits her as she’s mulling it all over, and she tells him the truth. She DOESN’T KNOW how her Trump Card works, how to activate it. . .but she feels that SOON the answer will be revealed to her.
And it’s through killing KUROME she feels that will be done.
This Murasame has a secret, ultimate technique. But the way I am NOW, I can’t use it. To use the SECRET TECHNIQUE of a cursed blade such as this, I need to discard my humanity...that is what I was TAUGHT. Slaying, Carnage, and Bloodshed...only when your HEART EMBRACES the demon inside, can this technique be wielded...at least, that’s how I always interpreted it.
...I think the time for that may be NEAR.
Akame came to this conclusion, that killing her sister would be the trigger, in her mind, because of Wave and her’s fight: where he told her --- No matter what the circumstances...for you to consider KILLING your own SISTER as a means of SAVING her...you’re fucking NUTS. And that clicked hard with her: because it’s that very reason, the resolve behind able to put her own SISTER who is her very world six feet under, in pieces, that allows ONLY SHE to claim Murasame’s handle. Should another touch the blade, the blade reacts viciously, destroying their arm from within, as we saw with one of the Rakshasa demons when he disarmed her: it decimated the bone, twisted his arm in a counter-clockwise motion, and made his entire arm UNMOVABLE until she snapped his neck in the same instance.
Claiming MURASAME is akin to a death sentence, for the BLADE chooses the master: not the other way around.
Tatsumi questions if she will try to TALK to Kurome first, and of course, Akame agrees. Because that is her sister. She loves her dearly, and she doesn’t WANT this. . .but her next answer is ever the same: But if I am unable, I will not HESITATE to kill her...That possibility ALSO exists. Because the mission must always come first: the saving of her nation.
To usher a NEW WORLD of PEACE and PROSPERITY. . .no matter who is lost in the process.
And ESDEATH and KUROME are the two strongest of the Jaegers.
It doesn’t stop there though: Akame also knows the risk that her TRUMP CARD could pose: If my heart should come to EMBRACE the DEMON WITHIN...and I become possessed by this CURSED BLADE...I would then become Night Raid’s target. At that time, I want you to KILL ME. Dying at the hands of Night Raid would be an honor. Akame doesn’t know what EMBRACING THE DEMON will do to her, and she has thought out every possible outcome...to ensure her allies are aware of the risks.
She did NOT KNOW what would transpire.
It’s why when she KILLS TATSUMI, that she unleashes it’s power, and it’s such a destructive force. The unknowing of what you were doing would make it’s power ten fold: GREED can be a motive, LUST FOR POWER, all of this can be what drives someone to do heinous things. But Akame holds none of that. She simply wants to KILL ESDEATH...and save her friend. Save her NATION at every and all costs.
As she says later, before the Assault on the Empire: ...no matter what the outcome, this is my Final Battle. My duty is to BURY ESDEATH. If I can raise the probability of my success by even 1%, I will take whatever RISK!
If she truly knew beforehand, that KILLING TATSUMI or someone close to her, would bring about the end of this war so quickly. . .she’d not have hesitated, or wasted time. She’d have sacrificed anyone of Night Raid, because though she loves Night Raid, they all know the costs they face, and they all have SWORN to throw down their lives for the mission.
Her not knowing...is what made her so strong: it was Murasame’s Reaction to her embracing it’s POWER and ending Tatsumi’s life of her own choice, CUTTING HER TIES with him. (Yes he lives because she somehow WILLED her blade to claim Tyrant’s Life and not Tatsumi’s but yknow the effect is still there.)

So WutBJU has collected more information. This is from a local alumnus who attended a big confabulation yesterday at 29614.
Taking the TRUST out of Trustee
First, if you have no stake or interest in things relating to BJU, just keep scrolling. This won't interest you. I am posting this here because I expect it would be excluded from appearing on the BJU General Alumni page. (I may try anyway....)
I apologize in advance for the length of this post.
By now, many of you have seen the petition being circulated in support of Dr. Steve Pettit retaining his position as President of the university. At this writing, it has amassed over 5,200 signatures in two days, with hundreds taking time to write a testimony of how Dr. Pettit has had a positive impact in their lives personally, or on the school, or generally for the cause of Christ. It's been a tremendous outpouring of support - but petitions have never had much impact at BJU, and sadly, I suspect this one will be no different. Today I attended a general meeting at FMA (thousands in attendance) where Dr. Pettit did exactly what he needed to do: he humbly, calmly and graciously explained that the Board of Trustees - all well-meaning men and women - were engaged in the process that they are charged with (apparently every three years), that of appointing or re-appointing the university President according to the Board's procedural by-laws.
But there is more to the "procedural by-laws" story that precious few know about.
Up until not very long ago at all, the rules of the Board of Trustees required a majority vote (9 of 17) to affirm the re-appointment of a President. Then at a recent Board meeting it was “innocently” proposed that the requirement be changed from a simple majority to a two-thirds majority (12 of 17). Sure – why not? After all, what sitting President isn’t going to get a 2/3 majority approval from the Board? No harm. It sounded innocuous at the time, and the motion was passed...on to other matters.
Well, we now know that this procedural change was orchestrated by six Trustees who thus found a way to surreptitiously make their minority position more potent than it ever had been, and now these six – a one-third+ minority – hold the power to unseat a beloved leader and dramatically impact the direction of the University. Six people. I imagine they are proud of how they manipulated the system to their advantage. It was clever, arguably brilliant. It was effective. But in my mind, they’ve removed the “trust” from Trustee. This is not an insignificant detail to be quietly swept under the carpet. It matters.
The plea is for unity through this -- as it should be -- but when a mere six hold all the cards in defiance of eleven other Board members, and 5,200+ petitioners, where is unity...save in the resignation of the six?
I don't have a specific call to action, other than to pray that the conscience of at least one of the six will be pricked enough to reverse course. Secondly, share this with others who care; others who will also pray. As Dr. Pettit shared today, "All things work together for good to them that love God..."
And so it shall be.
So. six people. Who could that be? We know John Lewis, the CEO, was none too happy about the Fashion Show. If you collect the Board members from the Flint-Detroit hub and the Board members from the nearby Milwaukee hub, look what you get:

Darling confesses their feelings on Valentine's Day

🌑This man probably does not waste much time on such silly trials as Valentine's Day, he grew up in times of war and is not someone known to be sappy. So he does not want to give this ridiculous day where everyone around him starts to grow crazy, a certain friend of his as well, too much thought, but sadly he has his own obsession that occupies his mind more than he would like to admit. Madara is made out of pride so he struggles a bit with his feelings which are rather intense and the fact that s/o seems to trigger a soft spot inside of him. He's quite possessive and confident though so he's sure he will be able to make darling his one way or another since he always gets what he wants.
🌑He probably gets a few confessions on Valentine from some people from his clan, including potential brides the elder from the clan have picked for him. He bites his tongue through it all, his clan is important to him after all, he rejects every single person though. But he did not expect you to suddenly seek him out and confess your feelings for him. He's not someone to just hope for something silly as having his wishes fulfilled but he is definitely not complaining! He just feels like he accomplished something big, feeling all smug and amused as he watches you collecting all of your courage that it takes to confess your feelings for him. What bravery from your side to actually confess to him and show your interest first, in regards of courting he would have liked to take the first step, but this is fine as well.
🌑The only bump really is the part where his s/o suddenly admits with a confident tone that they're sure that he doesn't like them back and is about to turn around and walk away, causing a flicker of irritation to flicker inside of him. Honestly, you do not expect him to let you leave after what you just blurted out, did you? He's some sort of sadist so seeing his darling turning all red has him cracking a smug and bright grin, especially since knowing that he has this effect on them. Poor darling, seems like he hasn't made his interest in you clear yet. With the sudden love confession his possessiveness will tenfold and the need to bring his point across that he returns darling's feelings and they're his will push him to act on impulse. So long story in short, he ends up kissing his darling then and there, letting actions speak rather than words, not caring who else might be watching and leaving s/o completely flustered and blushing is a sight worth it.
🌑It's really just over for everyone after that day, he will make his point to everyone in his clan clear that he won't accept everyone except darling as his partner and if people from his clan have to say something it's wasted air since Madara is just so stubborn. If he has to pinpoint down every single reason why you are better than every other offered bride, so be it. He doesn't really hold back after that day on his love for you either, willing to express it more openly to really just show everyone who you belong to. He's a tease as well so he will never let his darling forget about the fact that their brain pretty much stopped functioning after he returned their confession in his own shameless way.
Obito Uchiha
🔥Before he was mentally fucked up, he probably was sappy boy no.1, time changed everything for him though and for the last long couple of years he had no time at all to waste even the slightest thought on Valentine. Or any celebration at all. His joy and hope was crushed the day Kakashi pierced Rin with the Chidori, shattering Obito's sanity together with her. He believes himself to live in hell where everything is meaningless and his point of view didn't change until he somehow stumbled upon his darling angel. And as a terribly delusional, possessive and obsessive Yandere, this man loses his shit quickly so kidnapping is at one point, sooner than later, unshunnable. With new love blossoming in his previously dark life, part of his teenager sides pop up again, warped but there.
🔥 So when the declared day of love comes around, Obito finds himself falling back into the tendency of daydreaming and fantasizing about confessing to his darling and them admitting that they feel the same. Part of him wants to act on his fantasies, a painful pang in his heart reminding him that he already never got to tell his first love his feelings, part of him is terrified of the thought of being rejected though. He's mentally unstable and if you were to turn his confession down, he'd suffer from a meltdown and wouldn't be able to control himself. He just freezes the moment his s/o actually drags him somewhere and starts confessing to him, watching them with wide eyes as his heart starts leaping inside his chest.
🔥The borderline of overwhelmed with his emotions swirling around inside of him until s/o says with firm determination that he most likely won't feel the same for them. That's when icy and searing panic shoots sharply through his heart and before s/o can run away from him, his arms just reaches automatically out and grabs their wrist. Honestly, he doesn't know what he should say. He just knows that he can't let you leave him and that's why he holds so firmly onto you. Once his emotions finally burst out of him, he just pulls them into a bone-crushing hug, eyes tearing up a bit. To say that he's happy is an understatement, he's far over the moon, his heart going wild in his chest. Obito just feels so blessed to have someone like you in his life who loves him with all his scars and after he gets over his first emotional reaction, he is so determined to have you believe that you mean in the literal sense the world to him, the slight crack of his voice might hint that he's horrified to having even awakened another impression in your eyes.
🔥He's on cloud nince for a while after, joy overtaking his senses and giving him the feeling that he's floating before his fear settles in again. A normal relationship with Obito won't last for long given his broken sanity and the way he twists things in the way he believes them to be. In his eyes his darling is the only ray of light he has in this world and he is scared, just scared, that someone will extinguish you as well. He can't and won't handle it if he were to lose you too, having deluded himself into thinking that he is the only one who can protect you and keep you safe from the brutal nature of the world.
Shisui Uchiha
🍂It's not like he wouldn't like enjoying special holidays like Christmas or special days like Valentine's Day, the problem is that Shisui is incredibly busy. He has a lot of things he has to take care of, from duties for his clan up to the missions and tasks handed to him from the Hokage. Being the loyal guy he is, he will forgo personal enjoyment if it means fulfilling his duties and protecting the Leaf and the people living inside of it. He stays focused most of the times, it's just that sometimes when he sees other people having fun together and spending time with their loved ones that he finds himself wishing that he could have more time to spend with you as well. He just feels so bad since he feels like he neglects you constantly.
🍂Shisui is a romantic at heart so he did contemplate if he should confess his feelings for you on Valentine or not, even if it is the cliche per se. Being talented in spotting emotions people might try to hide from him and on top of that being a stalker, even if he tries to draw a limit, it's not that unlikely that he caught on to your feelings for him as well in which case he would choose to wait at first a bit before acting. Even if that should be the case, it won't take away the butterflies freely dancing around in his stomach when you approach him with a nervous yet excited expression on your face. He's somewhat giddy to be able to surprise you by telling you that he feels the same, though it still saddens him to hear that you never considered him feeling the same.
🍂The signs he hinted aren't the most obvious, if someone would look close enough they would have it figured out though, Shisui doesn't hold it against you. The sincere and reassuring smile he gives his darling after having prevented them from leaving has them most likely only getting more flustered. He's a light tease at heart so he finds the sight of your cheeks heating up adorable, he'll leave the teasing for later though. Because once he's made up his mind about telling his darling how he truly feels, he turns serious, he wants to clarify that he reciprocates their feelings. In a darker way, darling must never know this though. For the rest of the day, Shisui and s/o will spend the day together since Shisui finally has time on his hands and he just jumps on the chance to take you on a date, the day is just perfect. He's not even really trying to hide his excitement, he wants to do as much as he can with you and given the fact that he never truly gets the chance to enjoy such times at all makes him a little bit overeager.
🍂He’s in such a happy mood after and Itachi merely counted one and one together to get the right idea of the cause of his friend’s euphoria. Shisui, despite his wishes to announce his relationship with darling, hesitates for a bit and given his position he has a reason. He’ll sort it out though, he has good connections after all and his possessive strike on him as well, only better hidden. It’s due to the fact that he can hide his darker side so well and is so sly about it that barely anyone notices, he’s so sweet and doting to his darling after all and knows how to erase his traces.
Itachi Uchiha
🍡He can do really anything except spacing out and thinking about Valentine’s Day with the path he is walking down. He has no one to really celebrate with to begin with, the person he’s closest with is Kisame. There are still times where nostalgia hits him and he recalls memories of how he used to spend special days such as the love day with his family and the people in the village. There’s only little time to get lost in such thoughts before he has to focus back on his work. He avoids society pretty much and is aware of the danger he puts his s/o in by simply spending time with them despite them not even being supposed to know of him. It’s a sweet and guilty pleasure for him. Even if he is so careful and cautious, there’s the slight weight of paranoia that someone will eventually find out.
🍡Itachi is realistic so even if he seems to pay more attention the moment Valentine is just around the corner, he doesn’t really expect anything from s/o. He’s a criminal and already lucky enough that you don’t condemn him for it, asking for more would be too much. It’s due to that way of thinking that he is caught off guard when darling rambles out their feelings on that special day, obviously nervous yet determined to get it out of their chest. Itachi…just stares at them with conflicted emotions building up inside of him. He’s not gonna lie about the fact that he’s majorly flustered, happy and touched yet his rational side warns him that a more intimate relationship will mean more troubles and grief for you. It would be safer for you if he would let you keep the belief that he doesn’t return your emotions, he’s a true enigma after all.
🍡Something inside of him, a more selfish part of him, refuses to let you go though, now that you made it apparent that you like him very much as well. Itachi, a little bit shocked that his self-control slipped just like this, is left looking at you for some time, arguing in his head what he should say, whether or not he should just lie to you for your own safety. He finds himself unable to do so in the end, deeming it to be too cruel after looking into your flustered and red face, hope still glimmering in your eyes. How can he say no to you when you’re looking at him like this? Still somewhat insecure and worried, Itachi will still end up explaining to you in what dangers you would get yourself into and that the chances of him being gone for long times or even dying are likely and that he is a criminal who kills. It’s only after you firmly telling him that you still love him despite his flaws, the serious glint in your eyes promising that you have thought it all through, that he finally carved in, murmuring something about you being terribly stubborn with a small smile on his face.
🍡Itachi has to keep the relationship a secret just as much as you do, for your safety and ability to live a fairly normal life together with friends and family of yours. Meetings between you two are always somewhere where no one can spot you two and Itachi, despite his consciousness still telling him that this is too risky for you, melts whenever you shower him with affection and love. It’s the sweetest sin he has committed so far. It doesn’t look all that bad at first since Itachi is a fairly laidback person, even if sometimes he cracks a bit and displays his more paranoid side.
Dazai Osamu
🤎Dazai as the double suicide lover he is has probably viewed Valentine’s Day as an ideal day to die together with the person you love. So far he hasn’t succeeded, after meeting his lovely s/o he was truly thankful for that fact though. Dazai’s darling stands for him as a purpose to live and for that reason he is fiercely determined to make them his, ready to use less lawful ways if he has to do so. There’s a fool for romance somewhere inside of him which means that he would prefer not using force against you if he has too though, he isn’t necessarily a terrible sadist as long as you don’t give him a reason to be. Instead he’s just floating somewhere on the clouds of infatuation and for that Valentine’s Day seems like such a perfect opportunity to confess his feelings.
🤎Partially he’s also not too fond of the thought of someone else confessing to you, even with him already keeping a sharp eye to quickly get rid of possible competition whilst at the same time ensuring you don’t fall hard for anyone that isn’t him. He did fantasize about you confessing to him as well, chuckling at the cute imagination of his, not sure if that would even happen. The actual thing is so much sweeter and more adorable though and Dazai finds himself highly pleased to know that his s/o only loves him as well and he listens with a grin, on the inside really giddy. That’s just perfect, you really are just the most precious in the world, aren’t you? Starts already planning what he wants to do after you finish, though his joyful mood is for a millisecond interrupted when he hears the last part.
🤎Maybe it is really just his fault for not acting on his feelings sooner that you mistook his interactions with you as something else, you won’t get away very far anyways. No, no, darling. Dazai would be an idiot if he would let you go right now, still looking at you with that grin on his face that only appears to widen when he sees how flustered you become. He has to let you know after all that he loves you as well as he takes both of your hands in his own. He’s a charmer and a sweet talker, his own confession sounding almost like the ones of a worshipper. Asks you out for a date instantly after, still with that stupidly happy grin to which you simply can’t say no before Dazai eagerly drags you alongside with him, monopolizing all of your time for him. His clear joy and satisfaction, not to mention his now obvious adoration, is made clear within this one day only so you finally see it as well. He invites you to food, gets you small presents and is daringly bold yet in such a lovely way that you only feel your face heating up more, something Dazai only gushes about.
🤎Dazai would keep the relationship a secret from the Agency at first as well unless they don’t already know about it. He’s a bit concerned about the Port Mafia and what they might consider if they find out about his sweet obsession, though he would go above and beyond to prevent any harm from touching his s/o. Even if the Agency shouldn’t be yet aware though, they are no fools either and especially since Dazai is practically beaming with joy the days after the first date hint that something happened. Dazai just acts perfect, he’s sweet and devoted, though a little bit clingy.
Nakahara Chuuya
🟠Chuuya doesn’t bother much with thoughts about Valentine’s Day, there is simply no time for him to do so. He works for the Port Mafia as one of the Executives, his life is one with tainted hands as well and he simply didn’t have anyone he wished he could spend Valentine with. His darling managed to destroy his order of things and that changed things for Chuuya. Now, with Valentine around the corner, he seems to finally notice some of the appeal people have for this day. He’s quite confident in himself and his ability to court his darling, his possessive side would like to have them as officially his as fast as possible to top things. Chuuya just doesn’t want to be too rash yet, though the thought of confessing on this day is incredibly alluring.
🟠Even with his tough behavior, it would be a lie to say that he doesn’t indulge in sweet daydreams about him and you confessing to each other. He knows how to differ between daydreams and reality though, even if it makes him feel just a tiny bit sour. Apparently dreams do come true though, at least his becomes reality the moment darling sucks in a deep breath and lets loose of all their emotions inside of them. Chuuya, who wants to downplay his emotions to not embarrass himself, fails at doing so. Words seem to fail him, his eyes are slightly widened, his heartbeat skips and the small blush creeping up on his face are telltale signs of how flustered he really just is. However, knowing that s/o believes that he doesn’t like them back hurts him.
🟠You see, this man is insanely loyal and devoted to his darling and it’s not like he didn’t drop a few hints about his romantic interest, he feels somewhat wounded in his pride. You wouldn’t have gotten anywhere after such a stunt anyways, Chuuya far too thrilled to just let you leave his side and also ready to clearly explain to you that he feels the same, so much more actually. So even with still slightly burning cheeks, the serious look on his face has darling pausing and waiting for whatever he is about to say. Only to have him taking their hand in his and pressing a gentle kiss on it, only flustering darling further, especially once that smug killer smile returns on his face. With his confidence boosted, Chuuya won’t shy away from asking his s/o out on the spot either and they’re going to get spoiled quite a bit with gifts from the Executive’s side since he feels like the happiest man right now. He ends up stealing a real kiss during the date as well.
🟠Falls asleep that night whilst replaying the confession and the date over and over again in his mind, eliciting a smile from him. As proud as he is to have accomplished a romantic relationship with his darling, he’s unable to tell anyone about it. People still tend to notice that he’s radiating with a glow of happiness around him if they observe a bit more, they won’t get answers out of Chuuya as of now though. Adores it when he gets to spend time with his darling since he can forget all of his worries for a bit when he’s with them.
Run
🪶Run as a Yandere is as dangerous as very few might really believe, simply because he's so sly and cunning. Not one to lose his patience or composure, a talented actor, a strategist and a charmer on top of that. He is aware of Valentine's Day, didn't really think he would pay much attention to it. Run has a a goal, to change the Empire and pours all his time and duties to reach that goal. To fall in love with his dearest was unexpected yet also very welcomed, the sweetest emotion that leaves him breathless. So Valentine seems to be much more worth paying attention to since Run has most likely already made up his mind to confess. He's known you for long enough and vice versa, charm and manipulation have pushed you to grow closer to him.
🪶 I don't cross the possibility out that he gets some love confessions on Valentine's Day, he's attractive and caring after all. He lets everyone as polite as possible down though, sadly his heart already belongs to someone else. Those who have known him long enough might notice that he seems to glow with excitement and confidence today. Darling is one step faster though and if he was already in a good mood before, now he's beaming for sure on the inside, his heart jumping up and down and golden eyes glowing with adoration and love. He's sure this day couldn't turn out more perfect by having you confessing your feelings to him first. Until you add at the end with an awkward tone that you don't believe him to return your feelings.
🪶Now where did that come from? Run's sure that he has hinted a couple of times in the past that he has a romantic interest in you, this little scratch won't damage his overall joyful mood though just as much as you won't get to run away from him. You just sparked his eagerness to make you aware of just how much he adores you, he's less discouraged than he is encouraged by your statement. There's a moment where he gets lost in your bashful eyes though, wondering if this is perhaps a very vivid dream, it's almost too good to be true. He remains dazed for only a few moments though before he goes on with his original plans of confessing first and he relishes in the fact how darling grows even more shy, each gaze of his basically a whole love poem dedicated to only you and his words like the finest nectar, touches feathery and gentle. He whisks his s/o away for the day and he guarantees that they have a good time, hands softly interwined with yours the whole time.
🪶Insists to walk his darling back home after the first date, causing their heart to skip a beat when he surprises them with a soft kiss before heading back. He displays a small and gentle smile the whole time, going through the events of the day with warm butterflies in his stomach. He just can't get over the fact of how precious his s/o is and with them having confessed their love to him, he's only more determined to keep them safe and happy. Run, for the most part aware, is not above deluding himself to think that he has to protect you from this corrupt world and the filthy people inside of it.

I actually use a separate tag from RWDE when I express negative opinions towards canon.
That's mostly because RWDEs just aren't interested in ACTUAL criticism, and in fact throw temper tantrums when you give criticism that DOESN'T line up with theirs.
Any criticism that isn't "the dumb girls submit to the manly men" is completely disregarded by them.
Spoke with a friend about that last night at a mini-birthday I was holding prior to my main party.

their mindset was that of self-righteousness....they get some kind of emotional high from imagining themselves having a superior standing over professional media.

RWBY is a show about women, and not men. Both the main protagonists and the main antagonists are both female.
And there are MANY LGBT elements in the show.
We have male POC characters like Marrow Amin who are good and do not get killed off...which we don’t always see in anime (glaring at Bleach and Akame Ga Kill)
So I wonder...why are so many people making so many accusations of racism, sexism, and queer-baiting?
i mean I get the Misandry accusation...so many abused/neglected male reader fanfics love to use RWBY for the “potential” in which writers like Couer who hate the writing and the story simply want to impose their self-insert.
He’s simply the most famous self-insert fanfic writer out there.
But why do so many people support hatred against RWBY and its writing?
Why do so many people love to say “My fanfic is better than rwby” and its basically male-focused or anti-lgbt.
people say I hate jaune arc...I don’t hate him.
i hate his fans who are obsessed with making him OP.
With making him the center of attention.
with making women go after him moreso than a fate stay night protagonist.....’
honestly never did understand or like the writing of that show...too many plotholes and forced writing for that to work....and the themes or ideas behind the show are ridiculous...

I'm shook that my Akame ga Kill! works got notes, especially the ones about Run... So, I'm gonna write for him again because I can! This is totally NOT self indulgent, nope, that does not exist here, noooope!
𝕋𝕠𝕠 𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖, 𝕥𝕠𝕠 𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕖.
The bitter cold of the forest did nothing to deter the young man's determination to return to the capital safe and sound. Clutching a small ring box in his left hand Run couldn't help but to smile as he looked up at the night sky. He felt unstoppable at that moment, it felt as though the moon itself had just blessed him and that the stars were cheering him on, to finally pop the question. He was certain that his love would say yes, he was certain that the moment this horrid empire fell into ruin that he could finally find true happiness and peace.
And it would all start with the one who owned his heart. Through the day and even deeper into the night would his heart soar at the thought of his darling little dove waiting for him back home.
Home.
That word used to feel unfamiliar on his lips but once his they found their place on those of his love, only then did he feel his world stop. Only then, and only then, could he call himself a free man, free from his dark past, free from the vengeance he so desperately craved, free from the endless river of blood that was on his hands. Even with his imperial arms that granted him the ability to fly high up into the sky like a mighty hawk, he was still a predator. He would hunt and claw down his enemies, following the instructions of his commander like a good soldier ought to. Run was a good man, even with the blood of the world's greatest scum on his hands. That was precisely why he has to protect his love, that was why he had to fight so hard. He had to stay alive, if not for himself then for his love who waited for him to return. Who knows how many hours of sleep they had lost waiting for him to return, how much blood, sweat and tears they spilt just to see him in the palace. Run felt awful for putting his beloved through this kind of torture but it was all going to be so worth it in the end. The day in which they could finally be together was so close, he could feel it.
Soft footsteps rang quietly throughout the quiet street, starkly contrasting the furious pats that followed closely behind Run. With a cheerful smile on his face his golden eyes softened even more at the sight of his comrades approaching him. He had asked Wave and Kurome earlier to keep and eye out for (y/n) and to report back to him immediately when he came back from his mission. Thinking that was the case he called out to them as he raised his arm into the air in order to greet them properly. He just could not help himself anymore, the pure joy that was consuming his heart was too much to handle. It felt like sparks were going off in his chest, a whole new feeling of adoration was consuming him like the sweetest drug there ever was. As the pair came closer and closer towards him, Run began to notice a few odd details. The distressed look on Kurome's face, the angry tears that were flowing down Wave's face, his distressed and heavy breathing impossible ignore on this otherwise tranquil night. His choked sobs made Run's eyes go wild as he scanned them both, finally spotting the dry and crusty blood on their clothing. Finally face to face, the trio went deadly silent as Wave continued to shed tears like a heartbroken child.
"What's the matter Wave, what is going on? Where is everyone, why do you have blood on you?!" Run broke the short lived silence as he asked various questions that plauged him at the moment. Reaching out towards his friends shoulder, Run tried to comfort him. He was instead met with a harsh slap with Wave's hand, his gaze focused on the ground beneath him as he bit his lips in order to contain his screams of regret. Distressed, Run looked at Kurome's blank face but there was a glint of sorrow and sympathy in those ebony eyes of hers. In her left hand she held a small hair tie, a tie Run had given to his darling mere days ago before his trip. Said tie was covered from bottom to top with dried up blood, a few strands of hair still clinging desperately on it as the wind suddenly picked up the pace. Quiet apologies and choked out crie scould be heard from Wave as he continued to stare at his boots, the blood from his chewed up lips coating his skin like crimson paint. Taking a deep breath, Kurome finally explained the situation to Run in the calmest manner she possibly could at that moment.
There was a sudden breach in the palace, it was either Night Raid or some bandits they were searching for, they weren't quite sure. The scuffle soon turned out into a fullscale battle and there was a high number of casualties. She showed the hair tie into Run's hands, indicating everything.
His heart stopped beating but for all the wrong reasons this time.
The clear sky was now grey, the dark clouds murking his vision. He couldn't tell whether or not it was the rain itself or his own tears, he really couldn't. Growing weak in his knees, Run tried to hard to keep his composure and his pain at bay. It felt as though he was being covered in ice at that exact moment, the excruciating pain overflowing his soul as his lips silently quivered.
He broke his own promise.
The one person he needed the most in the world was gone, just like that.
He wondered if the gods themselves were mourning along with him at that exact moment. The harsh rain seemed to be proof of that. Closing his eyes, he had finally realized that he could never be happy. Such a thing was not possible for a man like him, a man who had done so much, and yet so little. He was going to keep one end of his promise though - he was going to live for his revenge. If he cannot have his love then so be it. He was going to do what he set out to do to begin with.
That stone cold determination did little to soothe his aching heart at that moment but it was his best possible option for him.
Live, love, die. That was the law of the land. It was a law that he despised with his very being. What a pity that the land did not care for his feelings at that moment. It took what it wanted, whenever it wanted. And as retaliation, he was going to steal fire back everything tine times stronger than before.

so he binds you up and pulls you away from the students
some students groan from the entertainment being over
aizawa glares at them
he gives you a little glare when you struggle a bit in his binds
"kirishima, bakugo, kaminari," aizawa's voice booms through the silence that settled over the class, "detention for not stopping this when i know you three could have very well prevented it."
but i know why you didn't - words unspoken on aizawa's tongue.
"you're coming with me, l/n"
so he unbinds you and the two of you walk to his office
it's silent when you get there and he gestures for you to take a seat
"do you know why what you did was wrong?"
you nod.
"you you regret it?"
your answer came almost instantly, "no. and i would do it again in a heartbeat."
aizawa nodded, "good."

he nods.
it's a mutual understanding he wouldn't suspend you if he had the choice,

I decided that i'd post my own personal headcanon's for an Akame ga Kill! Modern-ish AU, this will not have every one but i will make another one when i have more headcanon's.
Akame
Akame is rather shy and nervous about meeting new people but does have a good handfull of friend's.
She really enjoy's watching anime and reading manga, her favorite manga/anime is Attack on Titan.
She love's playing first person shooter game's like Doom, Call of Duty and Halo, but she can't stand horror game's like Resident Evil or Until Dawn.
Akame suffer's from a disorder that make's it difficult for her to gain weight so she has to eat quite a bit to maintain a healthy weight.
She was often bullied by some of the girl's in the highschool she went to because she was a bit of an anime geek, but that ended when a bunch of girl's and her crush came to protect her.
Akame has a crush on her classmate Tatsumi but is to shy to tell him how she feel's. [Even though he share's the same feeling's]
Bulat
Bulat is an ex-military operator who was honorably discharged after getting sevearly wounded in battle.
He is often seen working at the gun range as a safety instructor after his discharge.
Bulat often read's mystery novel's.
Has a german shepherd that he raised and trained since it was a puppy, it's name is Trooper.
His favorite kind of music is Heavy Metal.
Bulat joined the military like his grandfather and father before him.
Lubbock
Isn't too perverted but does make some slightly vulger joke's.
Currently in a relationship with his girlfriend Najenda.
He is a little protective over his friend's and girlfriend but isn't overbearing, this is because one of his brother's were killed when he was young.
Will without a doubt fight any bully's inside the school or outside if he catches them throwing someone around.
Wouldn't be caught dead laying his hand's on a woman, he had explained to one of his friend's that if he did he would cut off his own hand's then and there.
Has insanely high luck and can predict most event's like which football team will win the game.
Would lay down his life if needed.
Tatsumi
Was raised by a single mother due to his father running off with another woman before he was born.
He's very smart and skilled when it come's to technology, he made his own computer and monitor from scratch.
Has a huge crush on Akame but was a little shy to admit it for a while, but he eventually told her and they ended up together.
Absolutly hate's his father, when he turned sixteen his father tried to contact him and gave him some bogus excuse for not being there so Tatsumi refused to speak to him ever again.
Akame was his first kiss.
Almost always outside doing something, like working on car's climbing tree's or drawing in the park.
Will always stand up to bully's regardless of how big they are and often win's fight's.
Has had Heterochromia since birth, his right eye is ruby red and his left eye is emerald green. [The pupil of his right eye is a dark red four pointed star]
Would throw himself head first into danger to protect for his friend's girlfriend and mother without a second thought
Kurome
Very very energetic, practicly bouncing off the wall's 24/7, but when she fall's asleep there is almost no waking her up.
Love's her sister more than anyone she know's and would willingly take a bullet for her.
Has the same disorder her older sister has and hate's it.
Still make's pillow fort's with Akame when there parents are out on business trip's.
Scared to death of horror movie's but some how love's horror game's. [And she has no idea why]
Often wear's her sister's clothes and pretend's to be her infront of the mirror until she's seen.
Love's little animal's like bunnies kitten's puppies and frog's.
Doesn't quite understand vulger joke's and will ofter ask what it mean's only for Akame to tell her it ment nothing.
Her favorite food is strawberries.
This won't be the only modern headcanon post i make, i will have more out later.

so what animes have you seen already?
Oh boy! Not many tbh, I only really started watching it last winter when my roommate asked if I wanted to give it a try! I haven’t watched anything from any studio that did Visions (yet), but I wanna soon!
Animes I HAVE seen, in order:
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood — Aight so when roomie suggested we watch an anime, a friend who had seen a lot of them recommended this one to watch first as it was a good “starter anime”, and y’all idk if it’s just because it’s the first one I watched but I’ve still gotta call it my favorite one because y’all it’s SO FUCKING GOOD. Like that’s understatement of the century but I don’t have time to write an essay on why it’s so good lol just trust me it’s GOOD. 11/10s on EVERYTHING about it. Plot, characters, setting, everything. My one sadness is that I would not be good at writing fic for it lol.
Demon Slayer — YouTube AMVs and seeing it pop up on Netflix had us start this one next and y’all it’s probably the prettiest anime I’ve seen like ever, like the art style is chef’s kiss. Amazing story and AWESOME characters too, very good, 10/10 would recommend. I think I could write a decent fic for it if a plot ever came to me.
The Great Pretender — The only non-action/fight anime on the list, roomie and I tried it out because we figured we should see something different? It was on Netflix so we looked. It was good, clever writing, good characters got a little bit weird in the second season, particularly at the end, but overall it’s a decent watch. I could write fic for the shipping aspect but again, no plot ideas because the plot is fuckin weird.
Akame Ga Kill — Roommate had seen this before, recommended it to me. The characters were decent, setting was interesting! Pretty art style too, but I was like, verrrrry critical of the plot throughout the entire singular season lol, so take that as you will. Actually no yeah plot was kinda wack. My fave character deserved better tho.
Castlevania — Okay okay I know I know not an anime, but it’s a similar artstyle. (Also I think the game it’s based off of is a Japanese game?) Actually watched the first two seasons a while ago, but then watched the third and fourth with roommate. Y’all it’s REALLY good, literally everyone in the damn show is fucking hot and I’m jealous, I ship the throuple HARD hard. I think I could maybe write a decent fic for it if, again, I had any plot motivation lol
Trese — Again, cheating because not anime, but this one is still non-Western (Filipino) media and it’s glorious. I’ve never seen an episode of Supernatural but I feel that this show is like, what Supernatural wishes it could be. Another gorgeous artstyle and I’m so gay for the MC and the first season left me with so many questions so I really hope it gets another one! I gotta get around to reading the webcomic
D.Gray-Man — Okay this one is entirely the fault of @jasontoddiefor who got back into it and promptly dragged everyone he knew down with him, and I am so very glad he did because this is a fantastic— and I’d argue relatively underrated —series. Artstyle is gorgeous (certain characters be very hot), the character arcs are brilliant, I love all the characters, and the worldbuilding is so friggin creative, like I’d put it up there as another one of my faves. I actually did write a fic for this, but publishing a fic in an unfamiliar fandom is terrifying and bad for my anxiety and it’s gonna take me like five more years to work up the courage to do it again lol.
Sword Art Online — Currently watching right now with roommate. I heard some not very good things about it, but my roommate wanted to give it a try so I sat down and watched with them. Sure enough it’s been a case of half the time I’m flailing over the nice animation and how creative the worldbuilding is and the charm and potential all the characters have……………….. and then the other half of the time I’m banging my head against the wall repeatedly because it pulled some seriously stinky bullshit lol. So yeah watch it’s promising but also Suffer in not the good way.
Fire Force — Also currently watching! On my own this time, roommate already watched and recommended. This one is VERY good, like I am super into the plot and the setting and everything to do with the universe. Still getting into the characters and it’s taking a bit more time? So the watch is going slower than usual, but that’s alright! The entire premise makes up for it.
So that’s all the anime I’ve seen! I’ve also seen 2.5 Studio Ghibli movies and they are all JUST as good as people say they are (Kiki’s Delivery Service, Howl’s Moving Castle, and bits and pieces of Princess Mononoke) 1000/10 recommend.
You didn’t ask about the manga I’ve read but I’ll list them anyway! For the record I’m not a huge manga reader because my eyes find it hard to see the illustrations when everything is in different shades of black and white, it makes action scenes in particular really difficult to read, which is a problem when you usually like action plots
Demon Slayer — The anime isn’t complete yet and after the movie I wanted to know MORE so I hunted down the manga and binged it all. Y’ALL GOTTA READ IT IT’S STILL SO FUCKIN GOOD AND I’D DIE FOR SO MANY CHARACTERS I’M IN LOVE WITH SO MANY
D.Gray-Man — Same thing as Demon Slayer, the anime isn’t complete yet and neither is the manga BUT so I read the rest of what’s been written. Hoo hoo HOO I hope they animate more of it because the plots coming up are brilliant and I want it
My Hero Academia — Look, EVERYONE is yelling about this one and it trends like once a week and like five irl friends love it so I figured there was too much anime out but I had to know so I’d just skim the manga just to figure out what the fuck the hype was. It’s good, lol, I totally get the hype now, the strength is in the worldbuilding and a whole handful of extremely interesting yet surprisingly simple character types that work to drive the plot forward. There is so much potential here and I could definitely write fic for this but I am not touching that fandom with a ten foot pole and that’s coming from a Star Wars fan 😂
Yona of the Dawn — Currently reading this!!!! Ok so there’s a season of an anime out for this, I walked in to see my other roommate watching what was probably one of the horniest scenes in it. I was immediately like “👀👀👀👀 shit fuck that’s hot do these heteros have rights????” I was about to plop my ass down and start watching but roommate was like “oh there’s only one season and it’s unfinished and I know you don’t like unfinished stuff” so I promptly got my ass up and googled the manga so I could see more. Y’all it is GOOD, if you love the dramatic romances from Star Wars this is RIGHT up your alley and dare I say better, the plot is lovely, the characters are great, and I am SO MAD there’s only one anime season. I’d absolutely write fic for this if I was more confident, I have so many polyship ideas!!!!!!

(this is a tie into the Esdeath and tatsumi married the entire time one) the reveal to Najinda and the rest of night raid
I'm gonna do this one in mostly headcanons form if that's okay ^~^
- Oh boy. That's the first thought that rings in everyone's head.
- Akame does her best to support Tatsumi but is permanently on edge thanks to Esdeath. However, this is kind of advantageous for her own selfish reasons, because now she also has a direct connection to the Jaegers and Kurome.
- Sheele and Mine are NOT HAPPY. Sheele mostly takes the time to worry for his safety, though. Making sure he's okay and she didn't manipulate him into marriage. (I'll get to Mine last).
- I can say one thing, it's kings supporting kings season (Bulat, Lubbock, Susanoo). They are full-on supportive of him. Lubbock, however, is careful not to support him too much in front of Najenda, because of how she took the news (and to stay on her good side of course).
- At first, Chelsea and Leone are absolutely shocked about it, but they come around with the persuasion of Akame. They avoid Esdeath like the plague, though. Since work is still work and she's still their enemy. However, the care that they have for Tatsumi is too strong to completely ignore him.

Najenda
"Commander-" Tatsumi began, the words bringing along a sense of begging.
"I don't even want to hear you call me that right now." Najenda's words completely undermined Tatsumi's; the silent bitterness it brought along was deafening. The tension between commander and soldier was so strong Tatsumi's heart felt like it was going to burst from how fast and hard it was beating.
"I-" He could barely bring out the words as a lump began to grow in his throat. "I love her."
A cold, gleaming lavender eye with unshed tears returned Tatsumi's nervous stare.
"I understand. Love is powerful," Najenda began.
"You don't understand!" Tatsumi's mouth moved faster than his mind, much to his dismay. "I find love and this is how you react?!"
"Look at me!" Tatsumi was taken so far aback by Najenda's sudden exclamation. Warm tears were now streaking the left side of her face. "'Your love' is what got me here in the first place. 'Your love' is why I can no longer be on the front lines. Parts of me are forever gone now. Did you forget who took that?"
Tatsumi could only stare at his commander, who then refused to look his way. He understood everything at that moment. Esdeath was the woman who took her right eye and arm. The woman who took away all her trust that she had in her. And all that trust felt like it was stripped away all over again the moment he had her in chastity.
"Go," was the response to Tatsumi's dragging footsteps as he left. "I don't want to see you right now."

Mine
The moon dimly lit the green fields as Tatsumi was finally able to catch Mine alone for the first time. Since the big revelation, she's stuck to Sheele like glue, always finding a way to no longer be alone with Tatsumi. The distance between them was becoming unbearable.
"You wanted to meet me here?" Mine's voice brought Tatsumi back to reality. Her voice sounded tired, if anything, the girl in front of him sounded broken.
"Mine," He began gently. "I know this is a lot to take in-"
Suddenly Mine's pink eyes grew ice cold. A chill ran down Tatsumi's spine, and he felt the air around him get chilly.
"Have you forgotten who our enemy was?!" She half-exclaimed. "You brought her to us! You-"
"But this doesn't answer why you've been avoiding me so much!"
Tatsumi saw Mine visibly wince.
"You're a married man. Shouldn't you have obligations to be with your wife?"
"Mine-"
"I don't want to hear it." Her cold eyes grew icier as she fought back tears. "You do anything for the people you love. You've clearly shown who you love in comparison to us..... To me."
"What are you-?"
"I love you, Tatsumi," Mine's voice started shaking. "At least... I loved you." Those words were like a dagger through Tatsumi's heart.
Mine continued, "I loved you. I wanted to be with you, when everything was all said and done."
Suddenly, everything made sense to Tatsumi. All the teasing, the way she opened up to him, the bond that they formed. He was oblivious to Mine's love and care for him as soon as he saw Esdeath the way she saw him.
"Mine-"
"It hurts too much to be around you right now. I can't just be friends with someone I've fallen in love with." The moon gleamed some light on Extase, Sheele's teigu, signaling that she was nearby.
Tatsumi once again tried to address Mine, but she turned around and walked away.
"Go away..." Her voice dragged along with her sullen footsteps. "I don't want to see you right now."

“If you’re Tatsumi,” you ask, breaking Youngjae’s attention from the anime he’s watching. You’re sitting next to him, as usual as he binges watching his anime. “Who would you choose? Akame or Esdeath?”
Youngjae’s eyebrow raises, looking at you questioningly. It’s not new, you’re always asking random questions about the anime he’s watching out of nowhere but this time it’s different. You’re asking him to choose between the protagonist and the antagonist if he’s Tatsumi, the main character. “Choose as in what? As in my comrade?”
“As in your lover?” you scoop your ice cream into your mouth, waiting patiently for his answer as he’s having a breakdown over whom to choose. Youngjae always has a hard time choosing between the protagonist and the side characters, saying that of course people always like the main protagonist but the side characters are also precious.
Which is why now you only want him to choose between the two sexy female characters but you can see smoke coming out of his head.
“Do I really need to choose?” he looks at you with a painfully desperate face, wanting a way out of the question. “I like both though!”

BURY. ELIMINATE. TERMINATE.
What do these words mean? Why does Akame scream them in combat? What purpose do they have? These might be some of the questions a new reader may be wondering when interacting with my Akame, or, reading the manga.
Akame states things like Terminate or Eliminate to force herself to not back down.
