Fun fact, if we say an episode is skippable enough, CRWBY will force themselves to incorporate it into the show.
The most coherent episode so far was Jaune's, as much as I liked the Boba episode. Jaune at least asked what the end would look like for them, meanwhile we had a goofy short about the Junior Detectives, Somewhat and the Sisters.
The Junior Detectives was trying to stay connected to the plot, but it was too comedic to take seriously.
Somewhat's episode is skippable, you won't miss anything.
And the Boba episode is Ruby and Yang hanging out and reflecting on what happened in Ever After.

wow I had no clue Yang had the mental compacity to take responsibility for how she treated Ruby in the Ever After. So this proves she was being a bad sister, and had to acknowledge it and apologize for it. (Now the Yang stans can't ignore it or try to handwave it away as no big deal)
The fact I am shocked by this shows how little faith I and the rest of rwde/the critics have in MKEK to even be self aware to address that this did happen in Vol 9, that Yang DID ignore Ruby's emotional and mental state in favor of pussy. We expect them to ignore it, or even down play it. I will give credit where credit is due, but I highly doubt they would ever do something like this again. (Hopefully the partners they've been "talking with" all pull out by May 15)

That or the people who worked on RWBY realized the criticisms that Volume 9 felt like a non-canon story and made Beyond as a sort of Author's Saving Throw.
Also since RWBY Beyond is doing SO MUCH to shut down the critics’ complaint that “BAWW V9 was just a pointless non-canon filler volume that had NO EFFECT on the main story, nothing physically changed about Jaune and Ruby when they returned to Remnant” have fun picking up your clown licenses on the way out

While I agree with this, I also think that the blame can fall squarely on the shoulders of how fucked the economy is that people have no other choice but to sell fanfics since that's what they're good at.
Our fandom forbearers did NOT suffer through Anne Rice, strikethrough, and other bullshit for fucking ACOTAR and Harry Potter fans to fucking ruin it for all of us by selling fanfiction. I am not losing novel length yaoi epics because some of you don't know how to act in fannish spaces and yes I do blame the booktokification of fanfic but I also blame those of you that treat fandom like content to consume and not a community to engage with.

My god Miles and Kerry interact with the internet- people who live in deserts have ways to easily keep sand out their food, this really shows they never interacted with anyone outside of their white suburbain bubbles. Am I surprised? Hell no but I am embarrassed they wrote this and didn't think it would sound really stupid and sus.
