to answer your question

"why are you still staying, even tho you know how inconsistent i am to you",

because i am falling in love with you.

i am not afraid to be hurt, i see love in a very different way.

Love has so much meaning into it, much deeper than the ocean. It's positive yet negative. It's beautiful yet it hurts. Love never makes sense. But in order to feel all other emotions, you have to be able to feel love. Even negative feelings has love in it.

for me, the core of living is love.

i've had my lessons learned and i've had my heart broken thousand times before thru family, relationships and friendships and everything else.

but i chose to feel. Because i am human and i always will be.

I have no clear answers to questions like—

"why are you being a martyr?"

"why do you pour so much love to someone who doesn't deserve you?"

"why this and that?"

my answer will always be..

"I don't want to be afraid of how i feel and how i am going to feel."

because i am so tired of running away from my feelings that even i almost forgot how to love.

its depression time again, i can feel it...

lurking in the shadows,

with every breath i take,

fights for me to face him

but all i feel is hate.

used to think its over,

but it really isnt, ever.

he’s the one and only

that i will love forever.

was thinking ‘i will end it’,

once and twice a week:

when he pushed me away,

it made me lose all faith.

not in him, but me,

to be dependent on someone,

that barely touched my soul,

all he did was show me,

love does not mean it all,

cuz what is it that i lack,

that all others adore?

made me face the mirror

and talk to my shadow…

after all that time alone

i think i get it now:

it was not him i missed

but that piece of mine:

the one i lost, when he walked away,

holding onto that lonely name,

the body and soul i gave away,

both of which will never be the same.

so foolish of me to trust another,

with a piece of my heart,

the most fragile of all,

but what is it if not trust,

to blindly offer your all,

in hopes of finding something,

I'm lost, and I don't know who I am as a person anymore. I know I'm not happy though and I haven't been for years.....I'm figuring life as I go as best as I can, even though it feels like I've been on this never-ending shitty loop of depression and self hatred. Same shit different day.....has been my life, and it's killing me. I want out of this shit hole I've created in my head for good. I've been broken down so many times that I've accepted the bad, like it's a normal thing. Years of getting screwed over has fucked with my head so badly that I hate myself more than the shit people have put me through. When will I ever be able to finally put in the effort towards myself like I do for others....things need to change before I go insane.

nobody wants to be the bad guy

When we decide to open up to someone about how we feel, or a trigger and then it is taken in with the intent to defend their actions/words instead of with the intent to understand and care it creates a cycle of pain, disappointment, hurt, and just bad communication. All because no one wants to be at fault of hurting someone or deemed as 'The Bad Guy'. When really, it's not about finding who is at fault at all. It's about humility. Being able to set aside our own pride to actually tend to the person in front of us with gentleness, patience, and care-- even when we don't agree with how they feel, when we can't understand their triggers, or when we have never heard of it before.

So many of us have went through life having our feelings and emotions invalidated, dismissed, and not tended to. So to have someone be able to come to the ground with you and see you where your at before or without ever having to defend the action/words that got you there just makes a world of a difference. In fact, that is what love is. It is one way out of many ways of showing that you love someone. And it is in fact easier said than done. So if you're the person who gets defensive and dismissive don't beat yourself up either. We all are working on ourselves and some of us learning how to love again. Like anything else-- practice, practice, practice and pray to the one who knows love the best to help you in the process.
