The gentleness of letting things "be" and letting the Littles show themselves is more precious than I had ever imagined. My photography is anything but ordinary. - I had a bride ask me in a consult this week if I thought I was one of the best photographers in Charlotte? - My response: “It doesn’t matter what I think. Do you?” - Photography is terribly subjective. - For me, it is Always about trying to create something that’s unique to each client. - I always always attempt to capture the true emotion and the essence of the moment And finally, creating an unforgettable experience is all part of the equation. - But none of this matters if that’s not what’s important to you. - I had a client a few weeks back who was “in love with my photography” but didn’t book me because I had never photographed at their venue, even though I shoot weddings all of the world at locations I’ve never visited. - I had another client who didn’t book me because they didn’t like how I blurred out the background of a lot of my photos And for their wedding they wanted me to change my style. - I’ve had other clients who have booked me exclusively from Instagram or Facebook because they thought I “looked genuine and real” - My point is, the value of Photography and what YOU consider “good” is a floating scale. There are all kinds of GOOD in this space.
