low-calorie breakfast ideas that will keep u full for some time
high-protein breakfast recipes without protein powder, with exact measurements, each around 350 calories:
Greek Yogurt and Berry Parfait:
1 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cup mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries)
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts)
Instructions:
In a bowl or glass, layer Greek yogurt with mixed berries.
Drizzle honey on top and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Egg and Vegetable Scramble:
3 large eggs
1/2 cup spinach, chopped
1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup bell peppers, diced
Instructions:
Whisk eggs and scramble with spinach, feta, cherry tomatoes, and bell peppers.
Cottage Cheese Pancakes:
1/2 cup cottage cheese
2 eggs
1/4 cup oats
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fresh berries for topping
Instructions:
Blend cottage cheese, eggs, oats, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Cook small pancakes on a griddle.
Top with fresh berries.
Smoked Salmon and Avocado Toast:
2 slices whole-grain bread
2 oz. smoked salmon
1/2 avocado, sliced
1 tablespoon cream cheese
Instructions:
Toast the bread and spread cream cheese.
Top with smoked salmon and sliced avocado.
Turkey and Veggie Wrap:
2 large lettuce leaves
4 slices turkey breast
1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
1/4 cup cucumber, julienned
1 tablespoon hummus
Instructions:
Lay turkey slices on lettuce leaves.
Add sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and hummus.
Roll into a wrap.
Quinoa Breakfast Bowl:
1/2 cup cooked quinoa
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cup mixed fruit (kiwi, mango, pineapple)
1 tablespoon slivered almonds
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine cooked quinoa, Greek yogurt, and mixed fruit.
Top with slivered almonds.
Chia Seed Pudding:
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
1 tablespoon sliced almonds
Instructions:
Mix chia seeds, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Let it sit for a few hours or overnight until it thickens.
Top with sliced strawberries and sliced almonds before serving.

#fiberuarychallenge Day 11 - Self Care: Once you reach my stage in life, when children are grown, husband may have gone to the Big Golf Course in the Sky, and you are no longer in need of gainful employment to pay the bills, self care is just kind of what you are able to focus on because there are no longer other responsibilities. So, one GOOD thing about reaching old age is that you get to be a bit selfish and do a LOT of things that recharge your batteries. The BAD thing about old age is that those batteries don't hold a charge like they used to. 😜 But one thing I would encourage everyone to do is to focus on consuming nourishing fuel for whatever body you have. I personally love things that don't take too much fuss to make, such as this chickpea, avocado, tomato, and olive dish I threw together for dinner last night. Open a can, chop a few things, toss them together with some vinaigrette, et voila! ❣️ If you are so inclined, you can kind of mash up the chickpeas and avocado and slap them between two slices of bread or into a pita and then add the tomatoes and olives. Equally yum. You could also add some hard boiled egg or tuna to the mix if you consume animal protein, or even some sort of leftover grain such as brown rice or quinoa if you have it on hand. Added plus: doesn't mess up a ton of stuff to wash. Here's a share of some of my favourite vegan gluten free comfort foods which I have eaten in the past couple of weeks - the top two are made at home - Christmas dinner and a plate of "nibbles". The second two are meals enjoyed out. The wonderful pancake stack is from @gfpfoods - an amazing woman led fully vegan gluten free cafe in Hucknall. The second is "business lunch" at @kayal_restaurants in Nottingham, who have a number of clearly marked vegan and gluten free foods. . food log 1/31
heyyyy at least today was better
I didn’t eat till like 6:30 cause I was going to a friend’s house. I had half a cookie (150), a little bit of pasta (prob 200) and a salad (prob 120). Total = 470ish?
 I also drank a whole lot of water and some coffee and tea so I felt pretty good, then I walked abt 4 miles.
