Okay so since ao3 is down I am working on Danny phantom shit so-
GHOST PLANTS
Like cause plants die too right???? And I feel like ghost plants would be easier to study than like animal or actual human ghosts and whatever.
Imagine the Fenton's lab filled with little terrariums of ghostly plants, serene and unnerving in their glass cages. Imagine ghost vines creeping up their walls, little ghost flowers blooming around the portal, their bioluminescent glow softly lighting up the house.
Imagine the portal incident, a tsunami of vines and roots and leaves and petals filling the portal area as Danny dies. Imagine Danny's ghost form, forever tangled in ghostly vines dragging him down. Down where he buried himself.
Somewhere in Amity park, there is a grave, marked only by the gentle glow of unearthly flowers
