listen. i am slighlty obsessed with mamma mia— which means i adore abba's songs. so just yesterday i decided to listen to the songs from the movie.
and, because i'm in a huge harry potter brain rot, guess what: amanda seyfried and dominic cooper's duets could so easily be you, reader, and the weasley twins singing with you, because they know just how much you love listening to abba.
· · · · · ·
Tumblr media
so yes, to the point where you, fred and george know every single line. and on karaoke nights? the twins know by heart when it's their turn to sing.
i feel like fred is the most enthusiastic about it. lay all your love on me gets more tension between you, staring into each other's eyes, feeling every line:
no, fred wasn't a jealous man at all when he met you! but yes, every man fred sees now is a potential threat, trying to take you away from him — usually, he lifts you up on his arms, looking around with a serious look, as if to watch out of his best-friend-slash-love-of-his-life thieves.
george is possessive! which isn't nice. he uses his fingers to pretend that he was holding a cigarette, blowing air like a smoker would, because now he has another obsession, a bigger vice: you!
now all of this isn't true. now everything is you— and this is when both twins make their way to you, crowding, surrounding you, leaving nowhere to run.
all that the cheeky twins have learned as overturn: so they beg of you, george kneeling on the floor, fred pointing at his bleeding heart, making you laugh everytime.
you get to sing the other part of the song freely, with even more enthusiasm as them, knowing every low and high of the song, and the twins can't help but smile everytime you are this happy.
on the chorus, though? the three of you are screaming, yelling your lungs out.
unironically, i feel like at least one of the twins finds out they're in love with you here. fred, probably because he feels the song too strongly, feeling selfish of you, wishing all of your love to be layed on him— george, on the other hand, realizes how insanely in love he is for you. how (healthily. he hopes.) obsessed he is for you, and all of the moments you spend together.
Tumblr media
however, one of us gets a playful yet theatrical vibe, exchanging smiles and dramatic expressions, as if you and them really had just argued. as if you're a couple on the verge of breaking up, as if you were rotting on bed, wishing to be on george's arms or listening to fred's schemes— at the burrow, a place that feels like a second home to you, because it's where fred and george are on their most domestic displays.
once the music starts, the three of you get a neck ache, snapping your heads to stare at each other, grabbing any cylindrical object to be your microphone.
you have enough seconds to change your goofy, enthusiastic smiles into sorrowful expressions, frowning as if this was a painful truth to be sang.
you sing. you point at them, accusing them of breaking your heart— everytime, george looks at you, offended that you think he'd do such a thing! fred, on the other hand, nods as if he was accepting his fault.
they sing together the lyrics, fred finishing with ''waiting for a call...'', looking at you a little too lovingly— secretly, fred hexed a box with all of your letters, which he reads during vacations and holidays that you're far from him, dearly missed by him. every morning does fred weasley wake up in hopes that mixed with arthur's work letters, harry's letters to ron and ginny's friends giftcards, there's something written by you to him.
they sing together a few more words, because this time, it's george who finishes the chorus by himself: ''wishing he had never left at all...''; a feeling he remembers all too well, every single time he has to leave your company to go to his own classes, classes that you don't share due to belonging to different houses. that little heartache, of seeing you turn your back and leave, after waving him goodbye— you live in different houses, sometimes too far for him to chase your company in the middle of the night, or to straight up tell you something stupid he just remembered.
deep down, everytime this song is so passionately sang by the three of you, the twins wish to never get to feel exactly as the song proposes. the feeling of things getting so bad, that one of you has to leave.
being the most patient and more of the "good" twin of the duo, george is hopeful that being on no-speaking-terms wouldn't happen, and if it did, only lasts a few hours. george is hoping that you and him are such a good match, a match made in heaven and hell, never fight this hard.
however fred, the "bad", 10% more devilish of the duo, fears that his impulsive words might hurt you so much one day, that he'll be laying on his bed and wishing to be with you instead, knowing he messed up.
at first, the twins frowned at your music taste. sometimes abba's songs are frequent on dorms' parties, fred too focused on dancing and jumping amongst the other students' enthusiasm. george, however, is a little more observant of the others' fun, watching his friends dance and other boys trying to make a move on the girls they fancy— which means, watching is baby brother ron trying to get a dance with hermione.
it gets them a little effort to like abba as much as you do. george is the first to learn the lyrics, making an effort for you and to sing a long on car drives. fred struggles at first, but gets surprised when his voice naturally sings along.
when did he learn the full song? the full album, even? he accuses you of bewitching him.
( truthfully, fred becomes a bit of a bigger fan of abba than george, now that he gets to dramatically and theatrically sing the songs with you. )

Tumblr media
pretending that you're a little younger and flirting with him on does your mother know?, or you singing it out of spite when the twins mess up, when you just know that they will, sooner than later, listen to molly weasley's wrath for what they did.
all brotherly and stupidly supportive, being the one who remembers to sing chiquitita of all songs, fred starts the famous ''chiquitita tell me what's wrong...'' when you're sad about a low grade or crying— yes, this makes george wheeze his voice out everytime even though he tries so much to take your problems seriously.
waterloo is a song you feel... personally. because everytime you are defeated— fred and george won the war: convincing you to join their schemes, silly pranks, and future plans. the history book on the shelf is always repeating itself: you, fred and george at the crime scene once again. you promise to love fred and george forevermore— fred teases that you couldn't escape even if you wanted to (mf is tall, has long legs and is capable of running FAST after you); george, on the other hand, assures that he knows, fred knows, you know that your fate is to be with them.
going to detention, fred opens his arms to you, and soon george gets what his (slightly) older twin is about to scream: "can't you hear me? SOS!"; when you're gone, though they try, how can they carry on? detention is a little more bearable when you're caught red-handed with them, and so, you, fred and george have a date later at evening, to clean the great hall or other part of hogwarts. "and the love you gave me, nothing else can save me, SOS!" is a lyric you know all too well, because if you decide to be a little more sarcastic, slightly cold to them, george wraps your shoulders with his arm and tilts his head to look at you and sing it to you, meanwhile, fred shows up in front of you with a forearm on his forehead. a true damsel in distress, now that he sees the little sassy monster he and george created.
super trouper is a core memory to you, the twins, and dear ginny weasley, once again crying because of her first unrequited love on harry potter. something only you know, because you and ginny wouldn't want poor harry to suffer too much with fred and george's pranks. this time, each of your hands pull one twin to the side, then you point at ginny, who's a little more calm after crying her eyes out, and sing the first part of the song. fred thinks it's a good idea, honestly, since you always laugh at chiquitita, and for a second george seems to regret this friendship. because, are you serious? but then, when ginny smiles and accepts your invitation to join the spectacle, george decides that super trouper is a favorite of his— specially because he and fred know that somewhere in the crowd, you'll be there. and they'll be there when you arrive. always. forever, if fate allows them.
on valentine's day, george is the one to start this whole abba epidemy you're having. take a chance on me starts shyly with george, because you haven't received any letters or chocolates despite your popularity (which is cough more of fred and george's fault cough after effective threats on any funny little guy who fancies you). fred laughs incredulously, because as bad with seriously sweet words as he is, he doesn't believe that is identical twin is starting this conversation with an abba song. but of fucking course. and if you're wondering, yes, it did work. you took a chance on them.
voulez-vous is sang by you, the twins, and everyone else at the hufflepuff's party, when the team wins against slytherin. it's then that fred, if he wasn't an official fan of abba, admits that you have a good taste— because it's easily one of the funniest and enjoyful moments of the party: if there were students outside the dance floor, with voulez-vous, everyone is standing up and crowding hufflepuff's common room. layers of circles of students move to the left, the layer behind to the right, and so on. the whole time you're singing to fred and george, and when it's time to your students' circle to move again, fred gets on your left so george stands on your right, making sure that the enthusiasm of other students don't push you to the ground, or hurt you unintentionally. even when they're having the most fun, fred makes sure you're in the middle of them— for the first time, being the slightest responsible twin.
and yet, when you're being the kindest soul to help the weasley twins decorating their shop, money money money is the mandatory song to attract good business, good luck, and good clients for them. it'll be a rich man's (men) world indeed, when weasley's wizard wheezes starts getting so famous, that fred and george promptly have a jar of savings— money to be spent with you, on you, for you. to spoil their best-friend-slash-love-of-their-lives.

When Three Became Two 🪽| Platonic!Weasley Twins Imagine
Set during the Battle of Hogwarts
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Harry Potter masterlist
Characters & Pairings: George & Fred Weasley x Sister!Weasley Triplet (platonic), the Golden Trio x weasley!sister (platonic)
Content Warnings: Character Death, sadness, angst, mentions of blood and major injury, profanity | female!reader (she/her) | wc: 7k
Premise: The dynamic redheaded duo Fred & George were never particularly close with their older triplet sister Y/N, especially after she was sorted into Slytherin during their first year at Hogwarts. It is not till the Battle of Hogwarts do the twins realize just how important family is, but by then it was too late to make amends.
(Y/E/C)- Your eye color
Note: I’m going to put red hair because you know Weasley but if you want to envision your own hair color that is totally fine too. Also, just so y'all know....I started this piece back in 2018 and recently picked it back up. So....the last 400 words are pretty much the most recent material I added + i did A LOT of editing. So I apologize if the beginning is trash because like I said, 6k of the nearly 7k words are from 6 years ago. I've been hyperfixating on the Weasley twins again which is why I was like 'maybe I should finish that imagine I started...'
Italics are flashbacks
------------------
Y/n Weasley felt the sweat and blood drip off her forehead as she ran through the halls of the school she had spent several years in which became a second home to her. She was out of breath, dodging and reflecting spells that were casted her way from the surrounding death eaters. Screams and shouts echoed from every corner, flashes of red and green light nearly blinding her (Y/E/C) eyes while her flaming red hair swished when she ran. Her breath was wavering, she could see several of her fellow Order members dueling around her. Passing the Great Hall, her pace nearly faltering when her eyes locked on the doors, the memory of walking through the first time when she was just a nervous little eleven year old began to play in the redheads mind….
Y/n sighed, stepping off the Hogwarts Express for the first time. Her twin brothers had already raced to the boats leaving the smaller, although older, of the three behind. Picking up her robes that were slightly dragging due to her small stature, Y/n followed her fellow classmates to the boating docks, casting a smile to Hagrid as she walked past him, who in return smiled back. She found a boat that already had two other first years seated, and quickly took the spot adjacent to a girl about her age.
“Hi,” the girl smiled to the redhead, “I’m Angelina Johnson. What’s your name?”
“I’m Y/n Weasley, it’s nice to meet you,” the two shook hands with smiles.
“What house are you hoping to be in?”
“Honestly,” Y/n sighed, “I’m not sure. My whole family has been in Gryffindor, including my two older brothers who are currently here. It would be nice to be sorted there so I have my family, but I’ve always felt different.”
“Are those other two ginger boys your brothers?” Angelina pointed to the boat where Fred and George were laughing loudly while talking with a dark-skinned boy. Y/n nodded after looking where Angelina was pointing, turning back with a grim expression.
“Yeah, that’s Fred and George. We’re triplets, I’m the oldest of the bunch yet I never seem to be included in anything.”
“Aw, that’s not right,” Angelina said with a frown. The two continued to talk the entire boat ride to the castle, learning about their backgrounds and finding out  they had several similar interests. One could tell that the two instantly connected and were on the road to becoming best friends. The two girls got off the boat once it got to the docks, Y/n helping Angelina when she nearly tripped as she got out, to which the young girl was grateful for.
“Oh my gosh thank you!” Angelina exclaimed, “That would have been so embarrassing.” Y/n laughed slightly, fixing the girl’s robes.
“No problem, I wouldn't want you tripping on the first night and being made fun of before classes even started.” The two girls followed everyone to the entrance of the castle, beaming in awe of everything they passed. Climbing the steps that lead to the great hall seemed like forever, but soon they were faced with an older woman who wore a pointed hat on top of her head and green robes.
“Good evening,” she greeted, “I am Professor McGonagall. In a few moments, the doors behind me will open and you will enter the Great Hall where you will then be sorted into one of the four houses named after the four founding members of Hogwarts; Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin--.” She continued to explain the four houses to the children before the doors opened. When they did, Professor McGonagall escorted the group into the Great Hall. Many looked at the ceiling, gasping at the candles floating in midair. Some caught the eyes of soon to be fellow classmates, the students sending smiles to the young ones.
The group halted in front of the steps leading to the podium. The members of the head table gazed down on the children, Headmaster Dumbledore giving them a warm smile to welcome them making many feel more at ease. Professor McGonagall stood beside a stool, on top of it was a brown pointed hat.
“When I call your name,” she said, capturing everyone's attention, “You will step up, take a seat on the stool and I will place the sorting hat on your head where you will be sorted into your houses.” Y/n felt her hands become clammy, nerves racking through here with each name being called getting closer to hers. When Angelina was called and sorted into Gryffindor, Y/n clapped for her with a smile, happy for her new friend. She immediately hoped she would also be sorted into the house to be with not only her older brothers, but also with Angelina.
“Weasley, Fred.” The ginger boy raced up the stairs, careful not to trip over his robes and took a seat on the stool with a grin. The hat was placed onto his head and it took only moments before the hat exclaimed, “GRYFFINDOR!!” Cheers erupted from the lion house, the older Weasley boys, Charlie and Percy, clapping loudly for their brother and greeting him with open arms when he ran to the table. George was called next, the boy also running to the stool and the Gryffindor house applauded with joy once more hearing the sorting hat call out the name again. Fred and George embraced in a big hug, happy they were going to be in the same house and sat next to each other beside their brothers.
The room went quiet and Professor McGonagall read out the name many had already guessed was next, “Weasley, Y/n.” The small eleven-year-old let out a shaky breath, ascending the steps before taking a seat on the stool. She flinched when the hat was placed on her head and heard a gasp emitted from it.
“Ahh another Weasley,” the hat began, “only you are much different than your many siblings huh? Loyal to your family, a trait you value, but Hufflepuff is not for you. There is no doubt you are brave like a Gryffindor, there will be a time your bravery will be put to the test, but there is a strong ambition that lies within you. You are a very determined young one, and will do anything to accomplish your goals.” Y/N felt her heart begin to beat faster as the hat continued talking, “So, there is only one house in which you will find what you are looking for and that is SLYTHERIN!!”
That day, while no one wanted to admit it, changed everything. The twins hardly ever talked to Y/N, even less than what they already had. Many of the Slytherins ignored her, not enjoying the fact that a member of the blood-traitor family was sorted into the notorious pure-blood house. Even though Y/N was of pure blood, it did not matter to them, she was still relatively shunned from her housemates. Professor Snape was displeased at first until she proved she had a talent for potion making, becoming more advanced than any student he had ever taught. It was then he treated the Weasley girl with some actual respect and even allowed her to practice in the classroom whenever she pleased as long as she promised to never let her brothers get their hands on any of the ingredients he stored in the room.
Charlie, Angelina, and Cedric Diggory from Hufflepuff seemed to be the only people besides her parents and professors that looked beyond the fact she was in Slytherin. Others included her older brother Bill, her younger sister Ginny and eventually Hermione Granger. The bushy haired Gryffindor met the older Weasley in her first year at Hogwarts. After being told of the talented potion maker from Ron, Hermione sought to meet her. Y/N was shocked when the girl first introduced herself, but it was the start of a treasured friendship Y/N held dear to her.
“Hi!” a cheerful voice sounded, causing Y/N to look up from her textbook. Her eyes met the warm brown ones of a petite girl bushy haired girl sporting a Gryffindor tie and robes. The Slytherin girl gazed at her confused, looking around  the library in case she was addressing someone else other than her. By the warm smile the first-year gave her, Y/N realized she was in fact talking to her.
“Uh hi?” she said with a questionable tone, brows furrowed. The girl stuck her hand out which made Y/N slightly flinch by how fast the movement was.
“I’m Hermione Granger,” she introduced. Y/N hesitantly extended her own hand, clasping it with the girl's small one and shook it lightly.
“Y/N Weasley.”
“I know,” Hermione smiled, “Ron told me about you. Well he did not tell me much except your name and that you were in Slytherin. He also mentioned you were really good with potions and Snape likes you.” Y/N could not help but slightly chuckle at the last sentence.
“I wouldn’t say Snape ‘likes’ me, but he certainly tolerates me more than my siblings. You’ve probably already seen that the twins are pranksters, they tend to cause him immense distress.” This made Hermione laugh and Y/N felt her lips curl up. She then noticed the girl holding several textbooks, one of which was a first-year potions book, “Is there anything I can help you with Hermione?”
“I just wanted to get to know you,” the girl said warmly, which made Y/N slightly shocked. “Ron and the twins did not speak much about you and when they did they made it seem like you were horrible just because you were sorted into Slytherin. I know that a house does not define who a person really is, so I wanted to talk to you myself and it appears you are not a mean or evil person that your house makes people think you are.” Y/N could not believe what she was hearing and she could not detect any hint of a lie in the girl's words.
“Wow,” She breathed, “Sorry, I’m just a little taken back. It’s been a while since I’ve really heard anyone say that. Only my older siblings, minus Percy, my parents, my sister, and a few people who I happen to be friends with think the same way you do. Ron and the twins just really ignore me.”
“But aren’t you and the twins actually triplets?” The question caused Y/N to frown and look down at her book.
“Yeah,” she muttered softly, “We are. Many people forget that we are because we never act like it, but it’s okay, I’m used to the two leaving me out. It happened before we were sorted into our houses so it does not bother me much anymore. I’ve learned to live with it.” Hermione frowned at that, feeling sad for the older Weasley.
“That’s not right. You guys are siblings, family. They should not treat you like that.”
“Hey, don’t worry about it. One day they will realize how they act wrong, until then I can only be patient.” Hermione nodded though she still possessed a frown  and Y/N pushed away the many books laid on the table, gesturing for the girl to take a seat. “Here, sit down. You said you want to get to know me, so let's just talk while we do our homework and you can see how I really am compared to what Ron tells you. I’ll even help you with potions if you need.” Hermione beamed, placing her books on the table and sitting down across from the redhead. The two talked for hours until it was time for curfew, getting to know one another and Y/N offering help when Hermione had a question on a certain subject and Y/N felt it was the start of a blossoming friendship.
The years continued, and Y/N only had few friends, hardly ever seeing her siblings due to them all being sorted into Gryffindor leaving her alone. Her friendship with Hermione grew and she even looked at the girl as a sister, the Gryffindor looking at her the same way. Y/N and Angelina remained close even after being sorted in different houses. Despite having few friends, she could not wait to graduate and finally go off on her own, already planning to continue her work in potions and become a potioneer after spending countless summers devoted to perfecting different elixirs. Several events happened during her time at Hogwarts, including her sister Ginny unlocking the Chamber of Secrets and the tragedy of the TriWizard Tournament.
When the Order of the Phoenix was back in business to stop Voldemort following the death of her dear friend Cedric, Y/n immediately joined despite objections from her parents. The death of her friend caused immense grief. She became depressed in the following months, hardly sleeping due to nightmares of his corpse and she rarely ate, resulting in her facial features becoming more hollow. It was not until she joined the Order that she was back to her normal self and that was because of her determination to bring justice to Cedric’s death. The Order faced great loss. The deaths of Sirius, Dumbledore, Moody and with her brother George losing his ear proved how real the war was and the fight to make the world a safer place.
Now it was the second of May, and the fight of everyone’s life was in place. Death Eaters swarmed every inch of Hogwarts, attacking students whether they were armed or not. Y/N ran down the corridors, deflecting spells and sending jinxes back and forth. Her adrenaline was soaring, not knowing where exactly she was headed, but the only thing she knew was to survive and protect the students around her. Y/n never thought she would ever cast the killing curse in her life, but when a second-year Hufflepuff was about to be killed, the spell left her mouth before she could stop herself. The Death Eater fell back unmoving, Y/n took the hand of the small boy she saved and hurried him to the nearest dormitory or classroom.
“Here, go!” she ushered him into the room, “Stay here and do not leave! Hide somewhere and be alert, you understand?” The boy nodded furishouly, his small body shaking and clutching his wand tightly in his hand. The redhead raced out of the room, closing the door shut before darting down the hallway. A flash of familiar hair caught her eye and her feet carried her to the source. “Ginny!” She shouted upon seeing her sister. The younger Weasley halted her movement at the sound, turning around only to collide in the older one’s embrace. “Oh my God,” Y/n breathed, “Are you okay? Why are you out here? I thought you were to stay in the Room of Requirement until this was over?”
“Harry needed me to leave,” she told her sister, the two moving to a corner where they were slightly hidden from the battle, “He needed to search the room for a possible horcrux. Once he went in, I left and came here. I couldn’t just let my friends and family fight with the chances of them getting killed and just sit and wait!” Y/n sighed, bringing a hand to wipe the sweat on her face which resulted in more dirt being rubbed.
“While I don’t like you being involved, I understand where you’re coming from.” She pauses to rub her nose bridge, placing her hands on Ginny’s shoulders to look at her sternly, “Mum and dad might kill me for letting you fight, but there’s really no time to negotiate and stop you. At least find Neville or someone who can stay close to you and keep you covered, okay?” Ginny nodded, embracing her sister once more in a tight hug.
“Stay safe, sis.”
“I will,” Y/n told her, “You stay safe too, I’ll see you soon.” The two pulled away and Y/n bolted away down the hall while Ginny rushed to Tonks after seeing her battle a Death Eater and rushing to her aid. Y/n turned the corner, something in her stomach dropping and her intuition telling her something bad was about to happen. She heard the sound of a duel taking place and followed it. Familiar voices echoed in her ears and her pace picked up. The redhead rounded the corridor, jets of light flashing in her eyes and she spotted Fred and Percy battling Death Eaters while Harry, Ron, and Hermione helped while dodging incoming jinxes.
“Hello, Minister!” Percy bellowed, sending a jinx at the man, “Did I mention I’m resigning?”
“You’re joking, Perce!” Fred shouted and looked at his brother. Y/n watched the two and in the corner of eyes she could see a Death Eater with their wand raised. Her brothers could not see the man, and she noticed he was pointing at the wall directly behind them. Before she could think, Y/n sprinted as fast as her feet carried her, eyes widening when the flash of light emitted from the want of the assailant. At that moment, nothing mattered other than making sure her brothers were safe. All the years of being ignored and looked down upon by them due to being sorted in Slytherin seemed to vanish, and Y/n felt water line her eyes as she got closer.
“You actually are joking, Perce… I don’t think I’ve heard you joke since you were--.”
“Fred! Percy!” Her scream ignited and the two snapped their heads toward her just in time for the redhead to push them both out of the way at the exact moment the air exploded around them. The two brothers along with the Golden Trio were flown back from the impact, all landing onto the stone ground with a groan. Pain erupted to several areas of their bodies which would surely bruise. Dust covered them, their vision blurred from how much was in the air.
Fred pulled his body up, groaning from the pain in his side and coughing from how much dust filled his throat. He scanned the area and saw how the wall he was in front of was blasted apart with stone and wood now covering every inch of the ground with a large pile in the middle. It took two seconds for the ginger to realize what had happened, the last thing he saw was his sister running at him before he was flown back. He immediately got up and rushed to the pile of debris, staggering over the stones while shouting his sister's name.
“Y/n!!” He screamed, moving at a fast pace. “Y/n, can you hear me!” The boy began throwing the many pieces of stone and wood away from the pile, searching for any sign of movement and listening for sound. Percy and the trio joined in, the group shouting Y/n name and digging through the debris. “C’mon Y/n I need you to tell me where you are!” Fred grew more and more worried, feeling his heart sink by the second. It was not until he heard a pained groan and rushed to the source. He spotted a hand peeking through the rubble and Fred shouted for the others saying he found her. They all rushed to him, removing the stone covering Y/n's body, allowing Fred to pull her out of the wreckage when they were able to get her upper half revealed. She let out a scream, pain erupting all through her and Fred tried his best to get her out as gently as he could.
“I got you, sis.” He said with a shaky voice, “I got you.” With one quick but harsh tug, Y/n was removed from the rubble and was laid onto the floor. Everyone surrounded her, becoming frozen by how much blood covered her body. Cuts and gashes painted her skin, her clothing ripped and chunks of stone were embedded into the many wounds. Her breath wavered, gasping for air and they all felt their heart race at the sight. Hermione, with shaky hands, pressed a palm on to a deep cut in Y/n’s neck. The Weasley girl hissed, blood filling her mouth and dripping down her lips.
“You’re going to be okay, Y/n,” Hermoine’s voice cracked, trying not to look at the many wounds which the girl could tell will be fatal if not treated immediately. Ron could see a large gash right above his sister’s temple and gently laid his hand on top of it, while biting his lip to stop a sob from escaping. He knew it was bad, and his sister was dying in front of him. They needed a healer, but the Great Hall was several corridors away and Ron feared she would not make it in time. Percy began calling for help, applying pressure onto her stomach which had been cut open when a large piece of wood had impaled her. Harry stayed on his feet with his wand ready for any threats while also keeping his eye on Y/n, his heart dropping at the sight of her battered body.
“I can’t--,” Y/n gasped with a tired breath as Fred held her hand, “I can’t feel my legs.” She could hear them gasp, Fred’s hand becoming tense in her hold.
“We need to get her to Madam Pomfrey!” Fred shouted and went to pick her up, the others keeping their hands on her wounds to hold the bleeding but when they tried Y/n erupted in wails from the pain filling her by the slightest movement. It was like a volcano, fire filling her blood. The thick liquid poured out of her wounds, her skin becoming pale. Hermione’s hands were painted red, as were Ron and Percy’s. The sound of her screams were so loud it echoed through the nearby hallway and caused tears to stream down Hermione’s face.
“Stop!” she shouted, “Fred stop! It’s too late, she won’t make it!”
“You don’t know that!” He yelled back trying to get his sister into his arms, his clothes now coated in red. Y/n began to shake from the pain, becoming numb by the intensity and Fred started to panic.
“Fred, she’s losing too much blood,” Hermione cried, “She’ll bleed out before we can even get her to the Great Hall.”
“Are you serious, Hermione?!” Fred shouted in disbelief over the chaos around them, “Do you even hear yourself?! She’s your friend and you’re gonna let her die!? ”
“Fred stop,” Y/n's hoarse voice whispered. The ginger boy looked down at his sister, her upper body being held up in his arms while the others continued to put pressure on her wounds but blood continued to seep through their fingers.
“What--?”
“She’s r-right,” Y/n interrupted, “I-I won’t make it. The pain is too much--I-I can’t move and I'm losing too much blood.” She was shaking, fighting against what was pulling her to the other side to have a few precious moments with her family. “You need to get out of here, go find mum and dad.” Fred could not believe what he was hearing, neither Ron nor Percy. All three boys felt their eyes water and Fred tightened his hold on her. Percy grabbed her other hand, and Ron kept his on her head, covering her wound while tears flooded his face.
“Y/n,” Fred stuttered her name, “We can get you to a healer. Madam Pomfrey will help and she will heal you, you’ll be fine.” The words were more to convince himself. He watched as her lips curled up, tired and broken eyes looking into his.
“Fred,” she sighed, “You and I both know that I am not going to make it.” A sob escaped his throat.
“No! You’re not dying! You’re going to be okay!” He cried, dropping his head so his cheek rested on her hair. “You’re going to get out of here. You’re going to go home and learn how to walk again and become a potioneer like you’ve always dreamed of. You’ll get married and have kids…” He trailed off when sobs overtook him and he began to cry into her hair. Fred never believed he would ever have to watch his sister die in his arms. He had never felt more pain in his life than in that moment watching her gasp for air as her life started to fade away. What made it even more painful was knowing she saved him in the process, “I was supposed to die, not you! Not you!”
Fred started to think back to all the times he and George would ignore Y/n, never including her in pranks or just ordinary things. The moment she was sorted into Slytherin they acted like they were not even related at times and Fred felt more tears fall knowing he could never make up for it. He won’t ever get the chance to show her how sorry he was.
“Y/N go get your brothers and tell them supper is ready.”
“Yes mum.” Y/N raced up the many flights of stairs in the burrow in search of her twin brothers. When she got to the room, she knocked gently and waited for a reply but did not hear one so she pushed it open to see the two boys sitting on the ground in between their beds with several items in front of them.
“Hey, hey!” Fred shouted in surprise and George started to gather their many inventions away from her sight. “You can’t just come in here without saying anything!” Y/N frowned at him.
“I knocked,” she told him, “neither of you responded.”
“Whatever,” he rolled his eyes, “Still does not mean you can just walk in our room unannounced. We are doing something very exclusive and can’t risk you snitching it to mum or dad or your pal Snape.” Y/n’s eyes narrowed at her brother.
“Snape is not my ‘pal.’ He just stands me more than you lot because you are always causing him trouble.” George mumbled something under his breath, but the girl could not hear it. “And besides, I haven’t told anyone about your previous antics so why would I do so now?”
“Oh please,” Fred said in an annoyed tone, “we know you told Filch that we were the ones who put fireworks in his office second-year.” Y/N’s jaw dropped at the accusation, her cheeks becoming inflamed as anger rose.
“I did no such thing!” she shouted, “whoever told you that was a lie! I never ratted you out to Filch and why would he believe me? He thinks I’m just as bad as you two because I’m a Weasley.”
“Sometimes I don’t understand how you are one?”
“Excuse me?” she said appalled, “What in the bloody hell do you mean by that?” The twins just looked at her with blank expressions while she felt her eyes begin to water.
“Well first,” Fred started, “the most obvious is that you are the only one of us who got sorted into Slytherin. A house you know is full of pure-blooded pricks and bullies who hate everyone but themselves. You don’t like quidditch like the rest of us and prefer to be by yourself working on potions. Snape likes you, but hates the rest of us and you just have always been the outkast in the family. Who knows, you may even become a Death Eater like the rest of your housemates. Maybe you already are one and just haven’t said anything, wouldn’t be surprised you never tell anyone in this house what you are up to.” Y/n stayed silent when Fred finished, she felt a small tear fall down her cheek but neither of her brothers looked like they were unapologetic. She bit her lip giving a small nod and wiped away the drop.
“Mum wants you to know that supper is ready.” Turning on her heel, Y/n paced out of the room with the door slamming shut behind her. She shoved past Percy who simply glared at her for her attitude and bumping into him, obviously not knowing what the twins had said to her to cause such emotion. The redhead burst into her room, collapsing onto her bed and pushing her face into her pillow as cries erupted from her, being muffled by the pillow. She felt her heart break, her brother's words replaying in her head causing torment like a radio playing a horrible song over and over again.
“I’m sorry, Y/n,” he wept into her hair, “I’m sorry I treated you so badly. For everything. Ignoring you, pranking you in ways that had humiliated you and made you cry. Accusing you of snitching on us when you never did.” He held her close to his body, breaking inside each time she made a sound of agony. “I’m sorry for what I said to you during fourth year. I’m such a horrible brother,” he sobbed, “Please sis, don’t go. Don’t leave us.”
“It’s okay, Fred,” she hushed him, stroking his arm with the hand Percy wasn’t holding. The two other Weasley boys were sobbing next to her. They two often treated her unfairly and were now going to live in tremendous guilt and despair, begging God to not take her. “It’s okay,” she said again, this time quieter.
“Y-Y/N,” Percy stuttered, but she simply hushed him.
Her voice grew weaker, and the group knew it was only moments before she would be gone forever. “It’s gonna be okay. I love--,” it was getting harder to speak, but she was fighting. “I love you all.”
“We love you too. We always will,” Ron said and Hermione started to cry harder, leaning onto Ron for support. Harry no longer looked around for Death Eaters, his own face drenched in tears at the sight in front of him. He felt anguish in him, seeing another friend die at the hands of those who wanted him dead.
“You think I’ll see Cedric up there?” She questioned, eyelids falling shut and the image of her best friend filled her mind. Happy at the thought of possibly seeing him again. Fred let out a small cry before she felt him nod.
“Y-yeah,” he croaked, “He’ll be waiting for you. You’ll be together again just like before.”
“Freddie?”
“Yeah, sis?”
“Take care of George,” she managed to breathe out, “Tell him I love him.”
“I will,” He sniffed, feeling her take one last breath.
“Promise me you will live.” The air left her body one last time, the pain no longer present and Y/n felt at peace, unable to hear Fred’s last words to her.
“I promise. I love you, sis.” But Y/N did not respond, causing him to gently shake her.  Her lack of reaction caused Fred to collapse into a heap of cries when her body finally went limp in his arms. “Y-y/n?”
Percy felt her hand become unmoved and he too, cried in heartbreak. Ron held onto Hermione, turning his body away so he did not see his now dead sister in his brother’s arms. His heart was heavy with agony and he could not help console Hermione for he was in the same state. Harry dropped his head, sadness all within him at the loss of someone he looked at as family. He would never forgive himself, and he wished nothing more for Y/n to be brought back.
“Y/n,” Fred tried again, but to no avail. “W-wake up. Please w-wake u-up.”
The Golden Trio had to force themselves to leave, to continue their search before more people died. Harry and Hermoine having to drag poor Ron away from his siblings. None wanted to go, but time was limited and it took all their strength to get up and leave Percy and Fred with Y/n’s body. Promising Ron they’d get her to their family once it was safe to do so.
The two Weasley brothers lost track of time. They stayed put, mourning the loss of their sister until the battle ceased and they were drained of tears. It soon became quiet in the castle, Death Eaters had retreated upon Voldermorts order and bodies laid all through the halls.
“We should take her to the Great Hall,” Percy spoke with a dry voice, hoarse from all the cries. “Take her to mum and dad.” Fred was still, looking in front of him at the dusted hallway full of debris from the explosion that killed his sister. She was still held close in his arms, eyes closed and the blood stopped flowing but coated every inch of her skin along with Fred’s clothes. It took all his might to look down, eyes landing on her face. She looked peaceful, her lips slightly curled as though she had died smiling and that gave Fred some sort of comfort despite her damaged body.
That she left the world at peace.
“You think she’ll watch over us? Even though we treated her like shit?” His voice cracked. The older Weasley gazed down at his little sister, a small yet heartbroken smile on his lips and he cleared his throat. His hand came over her forehead to move some of her red hair, flinching at how cold her skin was.
“Yeah,” he said, “I think she will.” Fred carefully stood, cradleling Y/n in his arms. Percy rose beside him, grabbing their discarded wands and leading them out of the hallway, careful to avoid the debris around them. They reached the Great Hall, hearing the sound of others. Many were painful groans, others were cries of despair. The two emerged in the doorway, paying no mind to those around them and instead continued to walk forward until they saw their parents, Ginny and older brothers Bill and Charlie. Ginny was the first to see them, and rushed to them relieved they were okay and searched for her sister, but when her eyes landed on what was in Fred’s arms she halted. She could see the flaming red hair similar to hers and the blood stained clothing on the unmoving body. Her mouth went agape, hand flying to cover it as her eyes filled with water threatening to escape.
“Please tell me it’s not--.” But Percy simply shook his head, looking at his baby sister with sorrow and Ginny let out a small scream, falling to the ground but was caught by Bill. He stared at the Y/n’s lifeless body, his heart breaking into pieces and he tried desperately to console Ginny, but found it hard to battle his own grief emerging. Molly and Arthur ran upon hearing their daughter’s scream and froze when they saw their son.
“Fred,” Arthur said in a hesitant voice. His son looked at him with tear filled eyes, lips quivering and for Fred, he could feel his body start to shake.
“I-I-I,” he could not find the words, “S-she saved us. She saved us…..” His knees nearly gave out and his brothers Percy and Charlie helped him lower their deceased sister onto the ground. After gently placing the fallen Weasley onto the stone floor, Fred once more collapsed over her body as his grief overpowered him once more. Molly fell back into her husband’s arms, wailing in agony, he too had trouble holding her up as his body racked with sobs. Ginny was still on the floor, being cradled by Bill while Charlie and Percy stood over Fred, rubbing his back with tears of their own falling.
Onlookers watched with solemn expressions. The sight was gut wrenching but unfortunately resembled many throughout the Great Hall as friends mourned friends and teachers draped blankets over their deceased students.
“No! Not my girl!” Molly screamed, “Please not m-my girl.” She fell to her knees, crawling over to the opposite side of her daughter's body and caressed her cold cheek. Blood was all over her precious face, adorned with cuts and gashes, the most horrific on her head and neck. Molly did not even want to look down at Y/n’s body, for she was afraid of what else had happened to cause her daughter such a horrific death. Arthur could see the gaping wound in Y/n’s torso, his stomach lurching at the sight and he had to turn away as he felt nauseous.
George burst through the entrance of the Great Hall. He had separated from his family and Fred at some point during the battle which resulted in his anxiety to soar at not knowing where they were. He heard the wounded were being treated in the Great Hall along with the bodies of those who perished being moved until further notice, so the ginger bolted to the location as fast as he could. His eyes scanned every inch of the large dining hall, and soon he could see a group of people with the same colored hair as him, instantly relieved.
George walked with a rushed pace, slowing with confusion when he heard the wretched cries of his parents and siblings. They were all huddled, blocking his view of the ground. He immediately looked for Fred, becoming relaxed when he saw his brother alive. But George’s stomach dropped at the broken look painted on his twin’s face.
“F-Fred,” he stuttered out as he approached him, “what’s wron----.” Something behind Fred’s shoulder caught his eye, George’s gaze falling to the still figure on the ground. That’s when he realized the fact Fred was kneeling on the ground, hovered over the figure, and his mother was sobbing into their neck.
His twin lifted his head, turning to meet George’s eyes, which revealed the horrific reality waiting for him. There, lying on the stretcher covered in a dark red--almost black--substance and nearly unrecongnizable, was his sister Y/n. Unmoving. Dead.
All the air left George’s body, face consorting to match his family as he took in sight. The clothes she wore were tattered. Dirt and grime painted the visible parts of her skin not coated in her blood. Gashes upon gashes. A nasty intrusion on her temple and torso. George felt the bile form in his throat and before he could stop it the redhead was hunched over, spilling the contents of his stomach onto the floor. Arthur instantly went to him, rubbing his back. Once it appeared George had got it all out, Arthur produced a handkerchief from his pocket, wiping his son's mouth as he had seemed to freeze.
“Y-Y/n,” he dropped to his knees. Crawling to Fred and their mother. His twin slightly moved aside to give space. George instantly reached for her hand, devastated when the cold touch hit his skin. “No.” Tears dropped from his eyes, George looking to his family for them to say it was all a nightmare. “N-no. No!”
“George,” Molly whispered, reaching over to comfort him.
He shook his head, not wanting to believe the truth. “What happened?!” Fred winced, returning to a heap of sobs.
“She saved us,” Percy whispered, making George look up. “There was an explosion. A-and she pushed us out of the way. A wall came crashing down,” the older Weasley boy flinched, head dropping as he relieved the most horrifying moment of his life. “It crushed her.”
Molly wheeped into her daughter's chest. Picturing the scene. Unable to save her baby girl who she had spent so long wishing for.
For the twins, it was like a piece of them was now missing. Creating a hole deep in their hearts. They all came into the world together. Y/n first, then Fred, lastly George. How were they supposed to go forward without the third piece of their puzzle?
This question only surfaced the ocean-sized guilt swimming in their veins. Like Fred had done in the precious moments he held their dying sister, George was replaying all the times he had tormented Y/n. The constant pranking. Humiliating her in front of her friends and schoolmates. Getting her in trouble with their antics when she took the fall. Accusing her of snitching on them.
George crumbled, clutching onto Y/n’s hand as he lowered his head to her torso. Praying to whoever above to take care of her in the afterlife and begging her spirit to forgive him. Wishing he could turn back time to tell her how much he loved her. He wanted his sister back.
A cold breeze brushed his ear, almost like a whisper. George thought he felt a hand on his shoulder, but when he turned the closest person to him was Percy, and he was at least five steps away.
Whatever it was Fred had felt it two. The redheads glancing to one another, anguish filling their gaze. For they had their suspicions of what--or who--was responsible for the touch.
Turning back to Y/n’s body, Fred and George pictured what life was in store for them without their sister. Reality sunk in. No longer a bright light, but instead dimly lit.
For what was once three became two.

The library is not the place one would think to find Fred Weasley, including Fred himself. The library was for pulling pranks on Filch in the restricted section during the wee hours of the morning, not actual studying. And yet, here he was, chin resting in the palm of his hand, a dreamy gaze on his face, ignoring the open book in front of him. Truthfully, he had no idea what it was about, as he'd grabbed it randomly off a shelf so he could at least appear like he was doing something studious.
"Hey Freddie!" George's voice startled him out of his reverie. "Whatcha up to?" He asked, following his twin's gaze.
"Just, uh, trying to get a bit of studying in," Fred slammed the book closed.
George smirked, picking up the book. "So, what's so engrossing that you forgot we were supposed to start working on our new invention a half hour ago."
Fred looked up at the clock. "Oh shit, sorry Georgie, I must've lost track of time."
"No worries, mate," George said with an absent-minded air, flipping through the book. "An In-Depth Study of Wizarding World Economics. Riveting stuff, no doubt. I can see how time got away from you."
Fred rolled his eyes and snatched the book out of his George's hands before striding out the door. "Are you just going to stand around here wasting time, or are you gonna come help me work on things?"
George chuckled and glanced over at the only reason his twin had graced the library with his presence today. Y/N sat with several other of her fellow Ravenclaws, digging through the mountain of books piled on their table.
Fred had been head over heels for her ever since Professor Sprout paired them up for a project in Herbology. Though he'd never in a million years admit it. George reckoned it was because his twin had no idea how to express himself to someone like Y/N. Most of the time, all Fred would have to do is waggle his eyebrows and give his trademark wink, and girls would be falling all over themselves to get his attention. However, unlike his usual type, Y/N was a shy, quiet bookworm who paid more attention to her newest novel than the flirty overtures of Hogwarts' most notorious prankster and playboy.

"I think Fred Weasley has a little crush on you," Jess commented as they left the library.
Y/N stared at her friend. "What gives you that crazy idea?"
"Because he barely took his eyes off you the entire time he was in the library."
"Nonsense, he was probably looking at you or Cara. You two are the hottest girls in Ravenclaw."
Jess laughed and nudged Y/N's arm. "I bet you say that to all the girls."
Y/N giggled and shook her head.
"But, in all seriousness," Jess continued. "He was most definitely looking at you and only you."
"Well, even if he was, what am I supposed to do about it?"
"I don't know, talk to him maybe."
Y/N sighed. "You know I have trouble talking to guys."
"Or you could just flash him one of your beautiful smiles," Jess suggested. "At least let him know you're interested. You are interested, right?"
"Yeah, a bit," Y/N looked down to try to hide the heat rising in her cheeks.

"Hey, are you paying attention?" George asked Fred for the second time in a row.
Fred shook himself. "Of course I'm paying attention."
"Then, what did I just say?"
The older twin crossed his arms. "You asked me if I was paying attention."
George rolled his eyes. "Before that."
"Oh," Fred looked down. "Um..."
"Exactly."
"Dammit, I'm sorry, Georgie. My mind's just somewhere else today."
"Obviously," George replied. "Look, if you're so madly in love with Y/N, why don't you just ask her out."
His twin's eyes went wide. "I never said I was in love with her!"
"Maybe not out loud," George said.
Fred sighed. "Is it that obvious?"
"A blind man could see it, Freddie."
"Great...so the whole school knows?"
"Well, I wouldn't say the whole school," George said. "Just all of Gryffindor and half of Ravenclaw. And maybe a few Hufflepuffs. And probably one or two Slytherin."
"You're not helping," Fred groaned.
"Ok, ok, sorry," George chuckled. "You could just try talking to her, you know."
"Oh gee, why didn't I think about that?"
"I'm serious, mate. Talking to girls is, like, second nature to you."
"Yeah, but Y/N's different. She's not like the other girls I've dated."
"Oh, you mean like the ones I have to peel off of you with a putty knife?" George asked with a bemused grin.
"Well, yeah," Fred grinned. "But it's more than that. She's the first girl that I've ever really liked, you know, like as a girlfriend and not just a fun fling."
"That's a good thing," George said. "All the more reason to talk to her."
"But she's so sweet and shy. I don't want to come on too strong and scare her off or anything." Fred ran his fingers through his hair. "How can I let her know that I worship the ground she walks on, but in, like, a chill way?"

Today wasn't the first time the twins had skipped school, nor would it be the last. After receiving a bit of birthday money from their great-aunt, they decided a trip to Hogsmede was in order, sneaking off after breakfast. Neither of them expected to run into another Hogwarts student. And they certainly didn't expect that student to be Y/N.
Honeydukes appeared to be empty of customers when they bounded through the door. For the first time in a while, Fred's mind was on something other than Y/N.
"Our pranks are getting a little lackluster," he said, facing George as he walked backward down the aisle. "We need to make them bigger and better." To emphasize his point, Fred threw his arms out wide as they rounded the corner and felt the back of his hand connect with someone's face.
~•~
Y/N didn't skip school often. It was only when the stress of Hogwarts life got too much that she sought the peaceful atmosphere of Hogsmede during its downtime.
With finals looming on the horizon and a massive research paper for Potions due by Friday, she'd barely lifted her nose from the grindstone in the past few weeks. Add to that her friends' relentless teasing over the Fred Weasley situation, and it was enough to make her scream.
Y/N needed a day off. And she took it, arriving at Honeydukes just minutes after it opened.
Less than a half hour later, she sat sprawled on the floor, dazed, her candy strewn around her in every direction as she tried to figure out what in the hell hit her.
"Are you ok?" Fred knelt down beside her. "I'm so sorry, Y/N. I had no idea you were there."
"You're what hit me?" Y/N turned her head to look at him. "And right between the eyes, too."
"It was an accident!" Fred stammered. "I swear I didn't see you. We thought we were the only customers in the place."
"That's true," George confirmed, picking up the scattered sweets. "The place is usually pretty dead during the week."
"Oh-yeah--right. It's ok. It's not all your fault. My mind was a million miles away. I should've been paying more attention," Y/N gave a small smile and moved to stand up. Now that the shock had worn off, her cheeks burned at the thought of how ridiculous she must look right now.
"Here, let me help you," Fred offered his hand. She nodded and let him help her up.
"Thanks," she said, taking her basket of candy from George. "I should go pay for my stuff."
As she turned away, Fred spoke. "Hey, um, could I buy you lunch? As a way to make up for almost knocking you out."
Y/N tried to calm her pounding heart while her mind raced almost too fast for her to keep up. The idea of having lunch with Fred Weasley both terrified and thrilled her. Because despite what she'd said to her friends, she did like Fred. More than she wanted to admit. Secretly, she'd hoped he'd ask her out. But not like this. What even was this? It wasn't a date. Or was it? Were all her friends right? Did he really like her, too? Or was this just a friendly gesture? And besides, what would she even talk about? She wasn't prepared at all. Conversing had been easy during their project. She just kept to the subject matter. But, small talk? She sucked at small talk...
"Y/N? Are you sure you're ok?" Fred stepped toward her. George stood behind him, a concerned look on his face.
"Yeah, yeah. Sorry." The heat rose up in her cheeks again. Dammit.
"I could walk you back to castle if you'd prefer," Fred offered.
As nervous as Y/N was about having lunch with him, it wasn't enough to tempt her to go back to Hogwarts yet. "Um, no, I-I'm ok," she assured him. "Lunch sounds nice."
~•~
"You're the last person I expected to see here today," Fred commented to Y/N while they waited for food at the nearly empty Three Broomsticks.
She gave a sheepish smile and shrugged. "I've been stressing over finals and everything. I needed a break."
"I thought Ravenclaws didn't stress over school," George said.
Y/N almost snorted Butterbeer through her nose. "We stress over school more than anyone else. Why do you think we're studying all the time?"
"She does have a point," Fred agreed, garnering a warm smile from the shy Ravenclaw.
~•~
The sun was setting when Fred and Y/N stood outside Ravenclaw Tower. After spending an afternoon with the infamous Weasley twins, any lingering nerves she had were long gone.
"I had a really fun time today," Y/N said.
"Me too," he grinned. "You know, I was thinking, if you want, we could do this again sometime. Just you and me, though."
"I'd like that a lot."
"Really?! Okay, great!" Fred all but bounced in place. "So, it's a date?"
"Yeah, it's a date," Y/N confirmed, a smile spreading across her face.

PLATONIC YANDERE WEASLEY FAMILY HEADCANONS
Tumblr media
They're very protective of each other, that's for sure. Molly might be the first one to meet you, or the Weasley children at Hogwarts. Heck, you might not even be related to the Weasleys and they'll still think of you as one of their own when they see the chance to make you theirs for good, you're just too naive and innocent for this world. And no doubt Harry and Hermione would play roles in helping them with their obsession with you as well since they are yanderes for you after all
Arthur would LOVE to talk to you about your knowledge of Muggles if you know about them that is. But don't worry, there are still plenty of other things he'd LOVE to talk to you about. It's actually kind of nice and adorable seeing him get so excited whenever you bring up the topic of Muggles, the way his eyes shine and light up with excitement like as if he's some sort of kid in a toy shop. But Molly has to be there to rein him in in case he makes you feel too overwhelmed with his questions. Arthur doesn't care if you're pure blood, related to them or not, half blood, muggle or heck even if your dad is Voldy himself. Unless of course, you're good. He'll still look after you like his own and care for you, and of course, keep you far far away from the prying eyes of the evil Malfoys and dangerous things like Death Eaters and concerning yourself with the activities of the Dark Lord
Bill is the chill and easy going brother who'll understand how you're feeling since he's a pro at it and he's also the oldest Weasley, he's the brother to 6 siblings of his. He's a good listener and always has good advice for you whenever you need to ask him about something and he'll also love it if you talk to him about his work and stuff. And he'll also tell Fred and George to lay back off a bit if their pranks become too much to which they'll apologize instantly. They would never think of hurting you, not even in their worst nightmares. And if you were brought into their family by force, he'll know how you're feeling and he'll make sure to always be there for you no matter what. Oh, and no dating, NONE of the Weasleys would ever allow you to date someone at all. Nope, you're their precious little baby and they don't want some riff raff tainting your innocence
Molly is a really coddling and protective yandere for you. She'll always make you nice hot lunches and meals when you need them, she'll always give you the comfort and love you need from a mother and of course, she'll get jealous when you talk about your past family. You just can't seem to hate her no matter what since she's being so nice to you, hating her would literally be a crime. She looks after you so well and that's actually part of a plan she has in mind. Oh, yeah, she's crafty too. She wants to win over your love and affection by doing these sweet things and all that, but she does truly genuinely care for you. And if you ever mention the name of someone you like, I seriously pray for that poor schmuck, be it boy or girl since I believe in gender equality lol
Charlie loves you as well and he's the adorable nerd, who'll like talking to you about dragons and stuff. Like Bill he's also laid back and easy going, and trying to make you feel more comfortable with the family. He'll tell you funny stories from his time in Romania, some of the hilarious things his brothers and sisters have done, their embarrassing stories and stuff that'll be sure to have a smile on your face. He would literally cry if you wanted to enter his field, he'd be so freaking happy and pleased, no doubt he'd actually say "IN YOUR FACE!" to the rest lol
Percy Weasley is the uptight stick in the mud, the spoilsport and sometimes the killjoy but he truly does want what's best for you despite him being arrogant and pompous. He tries to be a good example for people and his family but it's frustrating when no one follows him or even strives to be like him. He'll try to get you under his wing before the twins try corrupting you. He'll help you with your homework, ask you how your day is going and if anyone's bothering you, he'll teach them a lesson. He knows he isn't supposed to use his status as Headboy for personal reasons but he won't tolerate it if someone decided to make his sibling feel bad about something. And if you guys are at Hogwarts, he'll make his duty to check in on you every single freaking day and act like some sort of pompous watchdog for you
The fun loving Weasley twins, who love pranking you and the others, but will never go too far with their pranks for you since they would never want to see you cry. They're the best to come to when you're having a bad day or when you feel like crying. In which case they'll cheer you up by some of their pranks and make you laugh since they can't stand to see you cry and be sad. And as for the person whoever made the mistake of making you sad... they'll be on the wrong end of their pranks and NO ONE, I repeat NO ONE wants to be on the wrong end of their pranks, trust me on this. And they'll even take your opinion for their products at their joke shop Weasley's Wizard's Wheezes, and go as far as naming something after you and giving you some of their stuff for free, low prices or discounts ESPECIALLY for you. Lol, they'd just rub it in Ron's face and he'd so freaking jealous
Ron would be the really overprotective type for you. Normally the Weasleys are just over protective of you but he's INSANELY over protective. And it's mentioned in canon too that he's really protective over Ginny when she starts dating Terry Boot, Dean and Harry. And if you think he's bad there, he's WAY worse when you're concerned since the way he sees it is NO ONE is worthy of being your s/o, you're the baby of the family and he will NOT allow someone to ruin you. He'll love to talk about Quidditch with you and maybe even show off some of his flying skills to you, to impress you. And he will not think twice to defend you if some prat like Malfoy decides to be a prick to you, and what'll make his blood boil even more is if Malfoy decides to take an interest in you. In which case the entire Gryffindor house would have to get involved in trying to hold him, the Weasley twins and Percy from literally punching the hell out of him. And of course, with the help of his trust y friends Harry and Hermione they follow you with the Marauder's map and keep tabs on what you're doing just for your safety of course
And last but not the least, Ginny, the youngest of the family but knows how to get something when she wants it. And that includes your attention. She's kinda crafty and demands for your attention regularly. And she will snatch you up like some feather if you're spending time with someone else, except for Molly of course. NO ONE has the guts to dare to go against Molly lol. And of course, she'll introduce you to Luna and even Luna would turn out to be very protective over you. For someone who looks so innocent and calm like her, she does know how to get rid of people who bother you and make you sad. There's always someone watching you no matter what, be it a Weasley, a Granger, a Potter, or a Lovegood... they're all there for you and they're at the back of you, scaring people off who they don't like seeing close to you since all they want is the best for you, that's all. They might not have much, but they have family and it's home...

“MR. WEASLEY-! HELP-!” You panted, as you slammed his shop doors open. Nearly sent him flying backwards, as he was just trying to close up for the night. Your robes were in disarray, as you were a mess. Hair all over the place, clothes tattered, and the stench of magic on you. You were attacked, and you were scared.
“Love, what’s the matter-?!” George was quick to ask, as you ran behind him. In the distance, he saw someone storming towards the shop. He didn’t hesitate. “Upstairs, now-!” He ordered, and you listened. You ran up the stairs, as fast as your aching feet would allow. You were so scared, and you swore you would die. You didn’t know how many floors you ran up, you just knew you didn’t stop until you tripped. You sniffled, as you grabbed to the railing, looking down below.
“I know I saw that thing run in here.” The woman scorned, as she nearly pushed Mr. Weasley against his own stair case. “Excuse me, I don’t know what you are talking about.” He would play dumb, but was quick to grab his own wand. As to avoid getting in harms way for himself. He’s dealt with one angry pink bitch before, he’s ready to face another one.
“You damn well know what I’m talking about, you clown-“ She warned, as she poked at his chest. “Did you not hear me? Oh of course not. I-KNOW-YOU-SAW-THAT-THING-!” She would shout, and slowly no less, making his working ear ring. He knew he was an overwhelming man, but this woman was another case entirely. He swore his PTSD from Umbridge was kicking in. He could see the wall of cat plates all over again.
“Need me to drop in?” A wavering voice would ask, as you sniffled into your sleeve. “Please. I don’t want this to be my fault.” You hiccuped, as you could feel freezing arms around you. “Oh don’t be like that-!” The voice laughs. “Our shop is for everyone. We even got Lupins Lunar Chocolate for the lot of you-!” He laughed, before you felt the presence leave. A whisper of blues wavering through the ever colorful shop.
“Lady, who are you even?!” George managed to snap. Hard to knock him off his composure, but he saw a student in distress. No babies are getting hurt on his watch. “My name is Renka, and I am part of a task force to get those horrible werewolves out of here!” She would proudly boast, as George would raise a brow. “Huh?” He blinked, as she scoffed. “You gotta be kidding me-“ The voice would whisper, before vanishing through the wall of the shop. Leading to Gringotts.
“I-SAID-!” She began to shout, as he quickly covered his working ear. “I HEARD YOU, YOU TWAT-!” He snapped, as he shook his head. “Why the hell would there be a task force to hunt down werewolves? What are we? Muggles from the eighteen hundreds?!” He scoffed, as that had you giggle. Luckily you were safe away enough to not be heard. Even in distress, he knew how to get a laugh.
“Because those THINGS shouldn’t be around-!” She would lecture, as he would rub his temples. “Ma’am, we aren’t in the eighteen hundreds anymore.” He sighed, as he would summon one of the chocolate bars over. Decorated with a familiar werewolf, cuddling with a black dog. Smiling, under a full moon. Soft blues, with a constelation to keep that lonely moon company.
“My uncle, and eldest brother, helped me and my twin make these. These are Lupins Lunar Chocolate Bars. These are made with wolfsbane, so that it’s easier to digest. ESPECIALLY for kids.” He calmly explained, as he flipped it over. Showing the ingredient lists. “Werewolf approved.” He proudly said, as Renka looked utterly horrified. As if you slapped her and called her a mud blood.
“You HELP those things-?” She whispered, as heavy footsteps would soon be behind her. “Things-?” A voice spoke, as she looked up. Eyes meeting a pair of mismatched browns, with a face that was shredded. Teeth exposed, hairline cut, and eye most certainly fake. A pale complexion, to accent the freckles of amber stars. William Weasley. Gringotts Favorite Curse Breaker.
She would soon stumble away, holding her wand up properly. Her back against a shelf, as Bill would walk over to George. He ruffled his younger brothers hair, making him stick his tongue out. “Free of charge, for ya-!” George playfully said, as his eldest sibling took the bar. Happily eating it.
“How could you help those things?” She whispered, with in pure horror and shock. “Because we aren’t Umbridge’s, like you-!” A voice shouted, before a blue face would poke out of her stomach. A mimic of George, if he had a pair of ears. Transparent, and whimsical in the many shades of blue. He would blow a raspberry, and it sent her running out of the shop. Screaming bloody murder, and leaving those twins to cackle like the mad men they were.
“Lame. Didn’t even get to pull out the big guns.” The Ghost whined, before zipping himself through the air. Back to where you were. He would pat your head, with a ghostly hand. “Don’t worry. Umbridge’s ugly sister is gone.” He playfully said, as you wiped your eyes. Still horribly startled. You were chased across diagon alley. That’s scary. They could understand, having witnessed such to the likes of Remus and William.
“Come on, let’s get you some chocolate. A wise old man said this once. Eat some Chocolate, you’ll feel better.” Fred proudly said, as he would guide you down the stairs. He couldn’t really hold your hand, but the gesture helped you regardless. Grounding you back to earth, from his cold gesture. The deathly cold helped you pull from your anxiety filled thoughts.
“Oh come here, love.” George offered his arms, and you ran into him. He held you close, as he worked on pulling the sticks from your hair. Making sure you were cared for, as Fred would hover over to their eldest brother. Sitting cross legged, in the air, as William ate. Left to talk to each other, as George would make sure you were cared for. His Big Brother Instincts were kicking in, after all.
“Thanks for snagging me out of the bank-“ William began, as George would help tidy you up. Making sure you had some sugar to help you feel better. Some spare Lunar Bars for the trip home, and just pampering you. Helping you come back to earth, and hushing you. Reminding you that you did nothing wrong, and you were no monster. She was the monster. Not you. You simply existed. She chose to act like that.
“The goblins there will make sure she has a hard time. That’s all I’m saying. They won’t stand for Werewolfphobia like that.” Bill said, proudly. Those Goblins treated him like family, after all. If someone hated him, then they’ll hate you right back. Just a bunch of old men, and their wild child. Nothing like what people assume. Thinking they are greedy gremlins. Bill will fight anyone who says that.
“Thank you, guys.” You sniffled, as Fred floated himself over. Letting his cold fingers run through your hair, and making it play around you. That had you giggle, as he stuck his ghostly tongue out. “We got ya, kiddo. Don’t sweat it.” He said, as George would make sure your scrapes were taken care of. All cleaned up, and patched. No need to join Fred now do you?
“If she ever starts her bullshit again, just ring us up.” Bill offered, as Fred keeps playing with your hair. To keep you smiling, and comforting you. “We won’t stand for this. So long as you are in Diagon Alley, you’ll be safe. I’ll make sure of it.” George offered, as you nodded. Diagon Alley. Got it. You made sure to remember that. Hogwarts, Three Broomsticks, Gringotts, Shrieking Shack, and Weasleys Wizard Wheezes. Got it.
“You want Bill to walk you home?” George offered, as you nodded. “No sweat.” Bill smiled. Well….tried to, anyway. Hard when half your face is missing. You could see I, as you would take your little gift basket of treats. A bundle of goods to remind you the world isn’t cruel. That nice people exist, and that not everyone viewed the world like she did. She’s just a bad apple in that pie of life.
You would soon have a leather arm around you, as the twins sent you off. You held your basket close, as Bill would walk you off to the fire places for the students to use to reach diagon alley. You would distract yourself, during the walk, with looking in the basket. While Bill made sure to look around, as the white streets were closed up. Left to the quiet snowfall.
Lupins Lunar Chocolate Bars, some Fizzy Sodas, Glow In The Dark Gum, Candy In A Can, he just made sure you had some fun and enjoyable candy. Feel good candy, and medicated candy for your full moon moments. They cared about Hogwarts students. They cared about you. With all their freckled heart. You had a family holding your hand. Through it all.
“Thank you. Thank you all-“ You gave Bill a tight hug, and he returned the gesture. Showing that werewolf strength, and able to return the tight gesture. With no issues at all. “No one gets left behind. No way in hell.” Bill comforted, as he ruffled your hair again. “Think nothing of it.” He would add, as you took a deep breath. Letting the snowy air calm your soul.
With a smile, you would step into the fire place. With a hand full of that green powder, you were able to smile. You had people to support you, and understand your struggle. You have people that love you, and that’s all that matters. With a wave goodbye from William, you could say it pride. “Hogwarts-!” And you were gone. Returning home, with some treats for your friends. Along with some free bars for your friends who were just like you. No one left behind. Just as a Weasley would say.

--------------------
Hogwarts was a place full of magic and new experiences. As a first year I was excited to leave my old muggle school behind to learn how to cast spells, fly on a broom and tame exotic beasts.
But I had not considered that despite all the magic, Hogwarts was still a school.
Therefore I was rejoiced to befriend the Weasley twins, Fred and George. With them by my side boredom was not even in my vocabulary anymore.
Honestly I had never been one for pranks, but since they introduced me to them, I had turned into an obsessive fan. I was always the first one to know what they were planning, eager to participate despite the consequences.
We were a feared trio when it came to the teachers we did not quite get along with.
My parents did not mind the complaints that were sent their way as they were too busy working to care at all. So why should I care?
In the summer break it all continued.
Since my parents were on a business trip and hence could not take care of me, the Weasley's had allowed me to stay over at their home.
In the beginning I had been a bit timid and shy, but that had quickly changed when everyone had been so kind and welcoming. Having Fred and George around may have played a crucial part in that as well.
“Hey, (f/n)! Let's go outside”, Fred suggested.
I did not hesitate to tag along.
A few minutes later we were deep inside the forest around the Burrow.
“Where are we going?”, I wondered.
I had never been inside a forest without an adult by my side. My parents did not allow me to go out on my own.
“There's a place we wanna show you”, George enlightened me.
After about thirty more minutes of walking through branches and roots, we finally arrived at … nothing. Why had they dragged me out here?
“Look up”, George instructed me.
Then I saw it. A giant tree house, hidden between the leaves of the tree.
“What are you waiting for? Let's get up there”, Fred encouraged us, climbing the tree first.
“Wow”, I uttered when I entered the tree house.
It was huge, filled with various things Fred and George must have brought over.
“It's our secret hideout”, George enlightened me.
“We found it when we got lost inside the forest. Nobody else knows about it. So don't be a snitch, okay?”, Fred remarked.
“Of course not”, I promised, outraged that they could even consider me to do it.
“What do you think? Wanna pull another prank and stay here for a few days? We brought food and water”, Fred suggested.
That was what the backpacks were for.
“You mean stay up here and even spend the night?”, I questioned.
“Exactly”, George confirmed.
“That's awesome”, I exclaimed. “I'm in!”
“It's settled then”, Fred noted with a huge grin.
We actually had a lot of fun in the tree house.
Fred and George had brought various magical games we could play. And we used our time to plan pranks for the new school year. At night we could go outside and spot some starts between the tree branches, but only if we climbed up even higher.
It was the best vacation ever.
Until we returned the next afternoon and Mrs. Weasley started yelling at us: “How could you act so irresponsible? We were worried sick! And (f/n), I promised your parents to look out for you. How could you just disappear? You all didn't even say a word. You're all grounded, forever! Now go to your room! I don't want to see you right now.”
Tears were flowing down my cheeks on the way upstairs. This was the first scolding I had gotten by someone else but a teacher and I was feeling agonizingly guilty.
Mrs. Weasley was right. I should have been more considerate.
“That definitely was a buzz”, George declared.
“The worst prank we ever pulled”, Fred agreed.
“Let's never stay away without telling mom again”, George decided.
“Agreed”, Fred and I replied simultaneously.
We stayed true to our word. Even as adults we were always telling Mrs. Weasley where we were going when we visited her.

Hello~ i noticed you were writing stuff for the harry pottah fandom and i was wondering if you could do platonic Fred, George and hermione one shot (im a sucker for platonic affection). Maybe like halfway through the second year umbridge yells at her or smth and they comfort her later on? I love your writing thank you!
I'm a little confused what you mean about "Second Year" with Umbridge being the bad guy, as she came in during Harry's (and thus Hermione's) 5th year (with Fred and George being in 7th year). I'm going to do it as a 5th year story due to asking for Umbridge. Thank you for the request!! (and I'm glad that you like my writing 💙)
Tumblr media
Hermione curled up in a small room she had found behind a blank painting, its occupant presumably elsewhere. What it could have been used for she had no idea, though it was certainly good for her purposes right now.
It was certainly not the Room of Requirement, they were using it enough for the DA meetings she couldn't end up there by mistake.
The room was barren, with a window she was able to look out of from her perch on the one table in the room. The sun was still up, and she could hear people enjoying themselves despite the new rules Umbridge was making as though trying to kill all of their spirits.
It made her feel worse, as she pulled her feet closer to herself, out of the light spilling into the tiny room.
A sniff filled the quiet of the room as she rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand.
She didn't want to be with Ron or Harry right now, even though she knew they were better people than the ones from her primary school, but she was still uncomfortable crying in front of people. And then there was how Harry was struggling to deal with his own things this year, and didn't need her to put her own issues on him. He needed her to be strong and help him deal with Umbridge.
And with Ron, she didn't know how she felt. He was good at comforting her and Harry, surprisingly so, but something about that made her want to hide what he could help her with. She didn't want to become useless to the pair.
Besides, it felt dumb that she was so upset about things that were so petty.
She wasn't even being forced to write lines in her own blood that effectively blamed her for a recent trauma she went through, even if she did think it would be easier if Harry could just keep his mouth closed.
She had stayed behind after Umbridge's 'lesson' today, having a question about the textbook. She didn't get an answer to her question; Umbridge instead taking her as insulting the textbook rather than the genuine question that it was.
Hermione had been yelled at for at least 15 minutes for her disrespect of a Ministry approved textbook that she more than many of her peers should take every word to heart. That as a muggleborn she was lucky to be able to attend Hogwarts, and should spend her time memorising the textbooks rather than questioning her teachers.
Nevermind that Hermione had memorised every one of her textbooks every year by the end of the first term. Nevermind that she wasn't questioning Umbridge's qualifications as a teacher, or even really the author. She simply hadn't understood what was written.
As if to make matters worse, Snape had already spilt her potion all over her, forcing her to go tot he Hospital Wing and arrive to Umbridge's lesson late. And that was after taking point from her and berating her for helping Neville when she actually hadn't.
Hermione laughed bitterly at herself as another tear fell down her face.
Compared to her friends she was weak.
Neither Harry nor Ron would cry when they were yelled at or told off. The two goofed off so often it was like they enjoyed the teachers' disapproval, and while Harry would complain about his punishment, he still didn't hold himself in.
Maybe she was just tired.
She was never popular, and no matter how hard she tried she often found teachers would look at her with disdain.
She had always been a minority, and she was tired of what she got for it. She was black, so she must be loud even though she didn't talk. She was trans, so she must be trying to sneak into women's spaces even though she rarely entered them. She's muggleborn so she must both be bad at magic and more stupid than her peers, despite her having the best grades and spending so much of her time trying to find out more of the world she had entered at 11.
"So it turns out that if we use copper then the colour stays for longer."
Hermione flinched as she heard a familiar voice approaching where she was hiding. Maybe they were going to walk past this room, she hadn't known it existed before today, even looking at the map she hadn't seen it.
Of course, as her luck was going today that didn't happen, the portrait door opening, letting light enter the room from the other side to the window.
The crack of golden candlelight from the hall illuminated from the table to just above her left eye; her brown eye showing the usually merged colours in all their glory.
"That makes sense- Hermione?" George sounded like Ron would when he saw her.
She hadn't had time to dry her eyes.
Hermione tried to do so without it being obvious as she clambered off the table.
"Hey," From the distance Hermione guessed it was Fred this time as her back was to them, though the door closed. "You okay?"
"Yeah," Hermione's voice was a little shaky as she tried to calm herself down. She hoped she could either come up with a lie about why her eyes were red, or that they would have returned to normal by the time she turned around. "I'm fine."
The twins stood there, looking her up and down for a moment as she turned around, looking more serious than she was used to seeing them.
"This is where we make our prank items," She thought that was George, the two of them pulling tools out of who knows where.
"Feel free to stay and tell us what happened." The other, presumably Fred, was setting up their equipment, which Hermione had to admit looked very complicated.
Neither twin looked at Hermione since they started setting up, though she found a chair behind her, getting a nod from one of them. She had lost track of which was which in the small room.
Initially she just sat and watched them; it was some impressive spell and potion work. The would discuss what could improve certain features, or reduce others, but they would do so quietly.
From the way they usually acted it wouldn't be surprising to think the two of them shared a mind, but watching them work together their individual skill sets shone through.
Fred was good at potions, bringing in what they had learnt from the village close to the Burrow and Arthur to change and improve the potions. He would occasionally turn to Hermione, his mouth open as though he wanted to ask her something before he shook his head, turning back to the potion.
George, on the other hand, was focusing on the spell work and how they would promote the items. While they were making them he was going through long checklists Hermione was sure he had made himself. Anything that didn't match up to the list was discarded, and sometimes he would jot down more for the list with the muggle pencil he kept above his ear.
"I got yelled at by Umbridge for asking about the textbook." Hermione finally spoke, looking down at her shoes rather than up at the twins.
The school robes didn't have any rules for the shoes, people running around in trainers, pumps, and almost any style of shoe. Hermione was wearing black shoes with a golden buckle to fasten them. The soles were thick so she could keep up with the growth spurts of Ron and Harry.
"She said I shouldn't insult her, the Ministry, or the author of the book by making it sound like they didn't know what they're talking about." Hermione pointed her foot, rotating her toe against the floor idly.
"Can I ask what the question was?" George asked, his eyes still on the list, though they weren't moving.
"I didn't understand the section on anti-magic. I tried looking in the library, but I couldn't find anything on it." Hermione's voice was quiet, feeling ashamed; she was the one in their little group of 3 who had all of the answers. She had even memorised every detail about Quidditch in first year when Harry had joined.
"Ah," Fred nodded, adding some kind of powder to the cauldron.
"Yeah, there's a reason for all that." George sighed, turning to face into the room, still not looking at Hermione, leaning on the desk. "It's not exactly real. It was an old theory someone came up with, but it's not possible. It's based on the idea that squibs had their magic stolen and muggleborns stole their magic so magic can be turned on and off. It got removed from anything even slightly academic before even Charlie went to Hogwarts, and it was always above Hogwarts level."
"Yeah, it's complete bs. You won't be tested on it in your OWLs, so don't bother giving it too much head space. Umbit-" Fred paused, eyes flicking over to Hermione. "Umbridge probably responded like that because she knows it makes no sense."
".. Thanks." Hermione mumbled, a smile sneaking out before she remembered the second half of the yelling. "She also said that I'm lucky to be here as a muggleborn, and I should just memorise everything I'm told and not question anything."
There was silence as the twins looked at each other.
"Well fuck that." They said in union, George approaching Hermione.
"I'm sure you know as well as everyone else that you are the smartest witch of your age. You earned your place here more than many purebloods ever will, and you know so much about magic and the magical world. Your worth doesn't depend on other members of your family having magic." George had Hermione's hands held gently in his, crouched down and looking up into her face.
"Hermione," Fred joined, removing the cauldron from the heat. "You have better grades than even Percy ever got. I've even overheard Slytherins admitting you're the best in the year." Fred stayed back, not wanting to overwhelm Hermione.
"And besides, being pureblood or halfblood doesn't mean that you automatically know all about, or anything about, the magical world." George added, squeezing her hands."
Hermione nodded, smiling slightly, taking a hand back to brush hair out of her face and wipe her eyes.
"Thanks," Hermione mumbled, coughing and standing up, smiling at the twins. "I should get going."
Hermione slipped through the door, looking better than she was when the twins had entered.
"So... Dragon?"
"Hmm.. And let's also destroy those decrees."

Okay so I want to finally write this very complex Weasley twins/George Wealsey fanfiction that's been spooking around my head ever since vampires where a thing.
But
I will have to reread the books in order to make my perfectionist brain happy (I don't want to miss anything or get something wrong) so it will be a lot of work. Slow updates and probably take years.
I barely ever write anything because my motivation is low but I've liked this idea for such a long time I really want to see it done.
So would anyone be interested in reading George Wealsey and vampire!oc very slow burn friends to lovers? Also the Weasley twins part will take a while (very slow burn) because I gave her too much background story that I'd like to share.

Nothing.
She felt nothing.
She was somewhere dark. Quiet. Alone.
Wake up, she told herself. Open your eyes.
She forced her eyelids open, blinking as she adjusted to the bright light streaming into her eyes.
Where was she?
Her eyes focused on the window, the moonlight beaming through onto her face.
She tried to push herself up onto her elbows. Her head swam as she lifted it off the ground.
What the hell happened to me?
She breathed out shakily, and managed to grab onto a bedpost to haul herself to her feet. Brushing off her robes, she looked around the room.
This is Fred’s dorm… Why am I here?
The door clicked open, and she turned around to see a dark figure enter, arms full of what looked like the entire hospital wing’s supply of medicine and healing potions.
The figure locked eyes with her, and promptly dropped everything he was holding to run towards her.
“Oh my god, y/n, how are you standing? Are you okay?”
Y/n frowned as she tried to identify who the person was.
He hesitated. “… Y/n?”
He stepped closer to her, and the moonlight shone upon his face.
“George?” she whispered. “What… what happened to me?”
George opened his mouth to answer, but no words came out. He dropped his eyes to the ground, fidgeting with his hands as he tried to answer her.
Y/n followed his eyes to his hands.
What happened?
Clearing his throat, George lifted his head and glanced nervously at y/n. “You and Fred were- got into an arugment, and…”
He looked down at his hands again, rubbing the one against the other.
“George…” she said slowly.
“Yeah?“
“Why- why is your hand bandaged?”
George looked at her, eyes filled with sadness.
She stared back at him.
“Things got rough.”
She frowned.
”I’m so sorry, y/n. I tried to pull him off you, but he was just- just completely out of his mind.“
The pounding in her head got louder.
Her hand reached up to gingerly graze her cheek.
She pulled it away, George watching her closely.
Blood.
Her eyes flicked up to meet his.
And then, she remembered.
She remembered everything.
-/-/-/-/-
The resounding thwack echoed through the room.
A scream ripped through the silence that followed. A thud as something hit the ground.
Then, nothing.
Nothing at all.
-/-/-/-/-
A tear rolled down her cheek. She winced as it made contact with the wound on her face.
And then she lost control.
Gasping, sobbing, her legs gave way as she collasped to the floor, shaking uncontrollably.
George rushed forward and fell to his knees, and pulled y/n into his arms.
“Oh- oh George…” she cried.
“Shhh, it’s okay.” George soothed her, stroking her hair softly.
She cried even more. He was being so kind to her, so gentle, and yet she couldn’t help but feel as though he was betraying her too. Leaving her alone. Leaving their friends, their lives, their home.
It stung her more than the blood trickling from the open wound on her face.
It gathered in her heart, squeezing it, till she felt she could no longer feel anything but pain.
Y/n inhaled sharply, causing George to pull away slightly in shock.
“What’s wrong, did I hurt you?” he asked, concerned.
Y/n shook her head, covering her face with her hands as the tears ran down her face.
“George, ho-w could he do t-his to me?” she said between sobs.
George had no answer, but his eyes said it all.
“Just, try to breathe, okay?” he said quietly, rubbing her back.
Y/n nodded, breathing out shakily.
He leaned back to grab a bottle of healing potion, cleaning materials, bandages, and a tub of his and Fred’s own bruise paste concoction.
He turned to y/n, and tilted his head down to meet her eyes.
“Y/n,” he asked softly. “Can I touch your face, please?”
She looked up at him, nodding. He gave her a small smile, and took the cork out the healing potion, lifting in to y/n’s lips.
“Drink.” He said.
She obliged. The potion burned the back of her throat as she swallowed, but she choked it down.
He then turned his attention to the wound on her face. Grabbing a cleanser and a cloth, he tilted her head and applied cleanser to the cloth.
“This is for the blood, okay? It’s going to sting, but it’ll be over soon.”
“Okay.” She whispered.
George lifted the cloth to her face, and started to wipe away the blood. Tears trickled down her face as he did so, the pain being slightly unbearable.
Once he had finished cleaning the wound, he began to open the tub of bruise paste. When he saw y/n flinch at the sight, he closed it and put it back.
“It’s fine, we don’t have to use it.” He said kindly.
She nodded, wiping away her tears and looking up at him.
“Thank you.”
He patted her soothingly on the shoulder, eyes full of concern as he glanced at her cheek.
“It’s the least I can do.”

eeeeee hope you enjoyed that little filler inbetween :) comment if you would like a part 3!

Hola chick!
Don't write if this makes you uncomfortable, but maybe a fic on reader sneaking off to get drunk/high with the twins (her best mates) one Friday night, so sneaking out of their dorms to sit by the black lake?
Happy Hour
Warnings: alcohol consumption, a couple of curse words
~•~
"Ugh, what is this?" Y/N asked, staring at the unlabeled bottle.
"The guy in Hogsmede said it was Firewhiskey," George replied before taking a swig and nearly choking.
"More like rotgut," she eyeballed the bottle while Fred slapped his brother on the back. "I hope you didn't pay too much for this." She took a more tentative sip, wincing as it went down. They'd all be wasted before half the bottle was gone. "There's enough alcohol in this to kill a dragon."
Fred grabbed the bottle and upended it, his eyes bulging as he realized his mistake. Y/N and George fell over laughing when he started sputtering and somehow snorted whiskey out his nose.
"What the fuck?" He gasped, looking in horror at the amber liquid.
~•~
Y/N was right. About halfway through the bottle, they were well beyond tipsy, but none more so than Fred. Most people think George would be the twin who couldn't hold his liquor. Yet, that couldn't be further from the truth. Fred sat there, swaying in the breeze and babbling about how cool it was that he and George had the same best mate and that Y/N had two best mates that we're also best mates. At least, that was what they thought he saying.
"Hey Freddie," George said, waving his hand in his twin's face to get his attention. "Fred, look at me."
"Oh, hi George!" Fred grinned and waved.
George chuckled and shook his head. "How many fingers am I holding up?" He held up both hands, raising and lowering his fingers at random.
Fred squinted and leaned forward. After several seconds, he looked George dead straight in the eyes and, without a hint of humor or snark, asked, "How many did you start with?"
George and Y/N burst out laughing again.
"Ok, Freddie boy. No more alcohol for you," Y/N said, moving the bottle out of his reach and offering it to George, who shook his head.
"We should probably slow down if we're gonna get him back in one piece," he said, just before Fred yelled, "Holy shit! We need to go pet-petting!" And passed out.

Please do 10 with both Weasley twins. I feel like the reader stuck between them would be adorable
This is an adorable idea!! As long as it’s platonic I think it’s super cute!!! Like reader is stuck between the twins who are acting like they aren’t there as they giggle😭(if you meant romantic pls don’t tell me because I don’t write romantic for siblings, I def don’t think you meant that but just in case someone thinks I do!)
Tumblr media
One bed troupe x PLATONIC!Weasley twins
Tw- the three share a bed platonically(like at a sleepover!), light cursing!
Tumblr media
When you laid down for bed you certainly didn’t expect the twins to crawl in beside you.
“What’re you two doing?“ you huff out and they giggle a bit slipping under the covers.
“They didn’t have any room in Ron’s room for Harry and Hermione so they took our beds!”
You let a little sigh as they make themselves comfortable practically yanking your pillow from your head and fluffing it before laying down on each their own pillow they’d taken from you.
“I hope you’re both comfortable” you grumble as they begin to chatter about cracking jokes like you weren’t trying to sleep right in the middle of them.
“Go to sleep” you groan after a few minutes of their voices.
“Goodnight y/n” they both whisper in a sing song voice and you know damn well they aren’t going to bed right now.
Tumblr media
Let me know if you want to see anything else because I love writing requests so much!!

Closeted Harry coming out to Ron after his breakup with Ginny and Ron just being like, “cool just don’t date one of my brothers”
Fred and George freezing and looking at Harry with nothing but absolute delight at the potential mischief.
Harry making eye contact with them, immediately understanding their intentions, and winking as he puts a finger to his lips, shushing them.
Ron following Harry’s line of sight and screaming “NO. NO. FUCK NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT.”
Harry and the twins platonically flirting in the most obnoxious ways imaginable.
Harry showing up to breakfast in the Great Hall late with a different twins sweater on, looking debauched. One or even both the twins give him a salacious once over. Ron wants to sink into the floor and die.
Ron eventually gets used to this but absolutely loses it when the rest of his brothers send him their sweaters and flirt with him at the Burrow.
The Weasley boys sending flirty howlers to Harry just to send Ron spiraling.
Ron being so relieved when Harry dates literally anyone who isn’t one of his older brothers.

Hoof Race
Fred Weasley x Reader x George Weasley
Can be read as platonic
I’m going through ALOT because of a dickwad of a piano teacher. So imma just project and vent here. I love piano, but I don’t love the piano teacher. My own personal Umbridge. Bleck. So it’s gonna be sloppily written, projective, just. I’m going through a lot right now. A lot a lot.
Summary: Your first detention with Umbridge. Needless to say, very traumatizing. At least you have a pair of red heads to comfort you. Along with formed an escape plan to get you out of there. With some help
Warnings: Umbridge, scars, blood, depression, anxiety, stress, crying, trauma, Umbridge being Umbridge. Physical Violence against Reader from Umbridge, Humanism(Racism against other species) Surprise Guest Appearance for the Book Lovers from one of our favorite Divination Teachers
Tumblr media
“Where is our little lab rat?” Fred huffed, as he was looking around for you. With George trailing behind. Looking in all the directions that Fred wasn’t looking. You had promised to meet them at Hagrid’s to test out a new product to help with calming animals. Something that was more so a Comission’s for Hagrid than anything else. Would be a nice little treat. Tea, fang, and laughter. Just one problem. Where are you?
“Should have never given Harry that map.” George would grumble, as he was getting worried now. Where were you? You aren’t one to break a promise. Especially to miss out on hanging with Hagrid. Who wants to purposely avoid a cozy evening with him? Especially since the twins had hoards of candy to share. If you missed a treat like that, it has to be beyond your control.
“Checked the dorm, checked Myrtle, checked the Requirement’s, checked the green house-“ The twins would finish each others sentences, as they walked. Trying so hard to think of where you could be. That’s when they stopped infront of the Defense Room Doors. They were open, but the office door was closed. They slowly looked to each other, before bolting inside.
“But Miss Umbridge, it hurts-!” They heard you shout, now that they were pressing their ears to the door. “It’s not suppose to feel good, darling. I should have expected such idiocy from someone who found it wise to speak out of turn-“ Umbridge would huff, as her heels could be heard pacing. A mixture of sharp clicks, and your hiccups.
“Mr. Firenze is not a THING-!” You snapped, only for a sharp smack to echo in the room. Made the twins wince, as you hiccuped again. “That beast is indeed that. Why defend that vile creature, when it even identifies itself as a beast-? Hm? Shouldn’t expect much from an idiotic child like yourself.” She lectured on.
“What do we do?” George whispered to Fred. What could they do? She was still a professor after all. Regardless, they had to do something. Anything. SOMETHING. They had to think fast, before you got even more hurt. Or worse. Expelled.
“Twins-?” A voice called itself, making the duo look over. The familiar blonde hair, and clips of hoof steps, made it clear who it was. Their newest teacher, given Umbridge very literally fired their old one. What a god send, as the twins were able to hatch a plan.
“Please please-“ They made praying hand gestures, as they pointed at her door. Making dramatic movements to try and convey they needed a distraction. Not wanting to get detention next. Never thought detention could be worse than anything Snape could offer.
The echo of another slap was what made the ever calm teacher connect the dots. Oh how he dispised such treatment. It was inhuman. That’s saying something from a man who used to live with trantulas the size of buildings. He would quickly motion for the red heads to quickly go hide under the stairs, before he cleared his throat.
“Mistress Umbridge? I need to speak with you about a matter at hand-!” He called, with a hoof stomp for added volume. The duo was quick to run under the stairs, and narrowly miss her gaze. An ever-plastered fake smile was on her lips, as she would walk down the stairs. A twitch to her eye was given, as she was now forced to speak to the centaur.
"Yes, Firenze? Whatever could you need at this late hour?" She asked, while the twins were quick to rush into the classroom. Left quite a sight. There you were, with bloody hands. To bloody to even make out what scars she had to make your write this time. Along with a firm bruise on your cheek, from her had no less. They were enraged, to put it lightly. This was the last time she would ever do this. That was their promise.
They were quick to your side, as you wrapped your arms around them. Your savior. "She just kept insulting him, and it wasn't right. He's a good teacher-" You would sniffle, as George would use his wand to try and clean your hands. He sneered at the words on your skin. Busy with tending to your immediate wounds, as Fred tried to calm you down and explain the plan.
"WAIT WAIT-I UH-I AM JUST A CENATUR! A WITCH LIKE YOURSELF KNOWS MORE THE I!" Firenze shouted, making the twins realize their time was running out. "Just be quiet, and follow our lead-" Fred just said, and you listened. Typical behavior, after all. They were always scheming, and you were happy to get into any mess they offered.
"Well....You are just a centaur. You aren't modern, or cultured, such as myself. I suppose i can remind you how we properly function here." Umbridge would smugly say, as Firenze tried so hard to not roll his eyes. Was worth it, as he was able to watch you be escorted back under the stairs. That firey red hair hidden away. Just in time, because even his calm soul can only take so much.
"Oh dear, Mar's is infront of Saturn. You know what that means, I better return to my classroom-!” She had no idea what that meant, no one did since it was a big lie. Least it sounded good enough to make her scoff. Feeling as though she wasted her time with him. Regardless, she gave a friendly smile. Now walking back towards her office.
The second her back was turned, the blonde stallion quickly motioned for the three of you to hurry to him. Fred and George basically carried you, as they did. Needing to work fast. Was just yanked around like a doll, but there was no choice. The moment Umbridge had gasped, noticing you were gone, you three were on his back.
“Where did-“ But it was faded, as you three were not having a horse ride of your life. Escaping her, this night. Quite the adrenaline rush. Riding the back of your teacher, as he tried to not trip down the stairs. Least you had Fred and George to comfort you. Holding on to the straps on their teachers body, for his supplies, and comforting you.
“Well clean you up, and make sure that this is the last time she ever hurts anyone.” Fred said, with a firm nod. You never thought the twins could look so angry before. Was scary, but also a morbid reassurance. Given Umbridge’s gaslighting was getting to you. Thinking you were a burden, failure, worthless, just horrible. Didn’t even noticed you were starting to cry. It was all too much. The boys would hold you close, and just hold.
“Dreadful woman. Dreadful dreadful just oh so dreadful-“ Firenze would keep on muttering, as he tried to not break an ankle on those ever moving stairs. Full of much spite as anyone else. Suppose that meant the twins had someone on their side, at least.
“You are gonna crash with us tonight.” Fred said to you, as Firenze took that as advice on where to go. Now heading to the Gryffindor common room. “Think of it as a big sleep over. Chilling in the common room’s living space.” George echoed. Childish, but there is joy in childhood. Had you smile in approval.
“Here, allow me to offer some assistance.” Firenze then spoke, as he rummaged in his bag. Still trotting along, as it was just a hallway roam now.
“This should help with your healing and recovery. Sometimes spells can not solve all problems.” And a small bag was offered to you three. Most likely a herbal of some kind. The kind textures were very reassuring. A reminder you weren’t crazy. That she was in the wrong. Not you. Still, made you tremble in fear.
“Gonna be ok. She’s not gonna hurt you anymore.” Fred reassured, with a kiss to your head. Followed by George hugging you tightly. Just helping ground you, as the centaur finally stopped at the painting. She didn’t even ask for the password. As if she wanted to delay much needed rest.
“Rest, if you can. When you join me for our class, tomorrow, you are permitted to not join. You may just relax, and star gaze. That often times relaxes myself.” Firenze offered, as he laid down at the open wall. Allowing you three to get off. He understood you were a victim, and offered sanctuary where he could.
“Thanks…” You sniffled, as to not be rude. He knows, he knows. He gave you a pat on your head, and a smile, before taking his escort away. Leaving you three with your thoughts. The twins mostly thought of how to make whatever happens to Umbridge look like an accident, while you were still shaking from the ordeal. Murder plots can be for another time. You were first.
Escorted to the common room couch, you were as pampered as you could be. Hands properly wrapped, the herbal deal brewed, helping clean up the blood stains, using their latest invention to help clean up your bruise. Just doing what they could, as you sniffled and hiccuped.
Once done, you were soon lying against Fred. With George semi on top of you. As if some kind of pressure therapy. A means to make sure no one could touch you, or sneak up on you. Was nice. What was nicer was the random fellow classmates who walked around. May it to get something to drink, unable to sleep, what have you.
They took notice of you, could quickly grasp it was Umbridge, and let you have your comfort. May it be making sure you three had a blanket, staying extra quiet to not disturb you, or asking if you needed anything. Just some humanity against the darkness.
The comfort of the twins, the easing calm of the tea, and the sound of the ever lit fireplace. It helped you come back to earth again. Just what you needed. Reassurance that you were the victim. Not the other way around. Just deep breaths of fire, cinnamon, and gun powder.
You’ll be ok. You’ll be ok, and the twins promised.
As if they ever would break a promise.

hi! i was wondering if you could write how HL characters would act when they are jealous
Yes! Also, I'll add how these characters wind up confessing to their crush! 👍
Characters: Sebastian, Garreth, Ominis, Poppy, & Leander
......
Sebastian Sallow
Let's be fr..this guy gets jealous INSANELY easily in canon, even when platonically speaking.
It's hard to pinpoint where he exactly started catching feelings for you, but he certainly fell for you fast after your adventure into the library's restricted section.
Unfortunately, because of your growing reputation as a "hero" around Hogwarts, Hogsmede, and other hamlets...you've have strangers and students alike often come up to you and interrupt your conversations with Sebastian.
They mean well, only showing up to compliment you or thank you for some favor you've done for them.
But still it puts him in an sour mood, especially if he's unable to do anything about it without coming off as a prissy Slytherin.
During classes, he feels 10x worse if he's not partnered with you and instead sees you with classmates he views as "competition"...like Garreth, Leander, or even Amit, scowling at them in envy and unable to focus unless the professor specifically calls him out on it.
The only exception is Ominis, since he's a trusted friend and damn well knew his crush on you (he has certainly used this as blackmail to stop him from doing stupid stuff) but Sebastian will still huff about how "close" you two are growing.
Sometimes his jealousy gets so bad he needs to go blow off some steam in the Undercroft, casting damage spells on whatever poor dummy, pillar, or knight armor happened to be in his way.
It's nothing that Repairo couldn't fix.
While your assistance in his quest to find a cure for Anne was extremely important to him, that's not the only reason he brings you along for the ride.
He genuinely enjoys your company, and it's his chance to actually be alone with you and talk without any rude interruptions.
Well...there's trolls, rankrok's loyalists, spiders, ashwinders, Inferi, etc....but none of them are annoying students who try to hog all your attention just to spite him.
Aside from Ominis, Anne keeps encouraging her twin brother to make some move if he's that jealous (which Sebastian repeatedly denies).
Sooner or later...he may lose that chance, and he fears this. But he never knew when the moment would come..
Then one night, you were both fighting poachers and their leader, an Animagus, insulted him so horribly that it made his confident expression drop for a moment--as did his Protego shield.
You didn't hear what she said exactly, but his devastated face told you enough and you were pissed.
So you rained down a torrent of ancient magic lightning before she can even think of transforming.
Sebastian could only watch as you smite her like some furious god unleashing your wrath on the world, finding you both badass and ethereal.
When it's all over, you rushed to his side and ask if he's okay--but he just kisses you right there and then, silencing you.
He's so sick of waiting.
Garreth Weasley
His jealousy is nowhere near as bad as Sebastian's...but it's still there. Just subtle.
He pouts a lot when somebody steals your attention away, and he tries way too hard to impress you with whatever brilliant potion concept he drafted up (and definitely didn't have approval to brew in class under any circumstances).
Speaking of which, you're his usual partner in potions class, so he'll be highly disappointed if Professor Sharp decides to pair you with somebody else that day.
Garreth feels this sting in his heart if he overhears you praising them for their perfect brew, while he stares into his bubbling cauldron and sulks, wondering what he could've done differently.
He didn't know how you truly felt about him, so he got the genius idea to cook up a love potion the day you had a substitute for class (he sat at the furthest station and had secretly gathered the ingredients beforehand).
Just as you were about to try it for yourself, he accidentally knocked an incompatible ingredient into the pot and caused its contents to explode, staining both of your robes in pink.
While everybody laughed, the sub made the stains vanish with some magic and decided to dismiss class early, making you two stay behind to clean up the mess.
Luckily only house points were deducted due to your actions, so you won't be getting detention for this.
Still...Garreth was quite upset and you could tell.
You reassure him you're not mad in the slightest, and that you knew exactly what he was trying to do (followed by a small wink before continuing your cleanup).
His face turned as red as a maxima potion, and when he returns to the Gryffindor common room for the night, he gets confused stares from his fellow housemates as they wonder what's gotten into him.
But he can't stop thinking about you.
Maybe you ingested droplets of the love potion after it exploded, since you did seem particularly flirtatious with him in that moment and knew his intentions.
Looks like he got his wish after all.
Now to ask you out properly..
Ominis Gaunt
He's not an easily jealous guy. He'll never get angry at other people for simply wanting to spend time with you or if you're partners with them in class.
You've made a name for yourself at Hogwarts, and while he doesn't always agree with the dangerous stuff you get involved with, he only expects people to look up to you and pull your attention away from him.
Though deep down, it kinda hurts...especially since quite a handful of students from other houses perceive him as someone you shouldn't be around (some Gryffindors with "holier than thou" personalities even had the guts to say you're better off without him when he's standing right there).
Being a Gaunt + a Slytherin had that effect, unfortunately...
But he's sick of hearing that all the time.
Anyone else would've snapped at whoever criticized them based on blood status or rudely interrupted a conversation they're clearly having with you.
Yet when he does it..suddenly he's the bad guy?
It never made sense.
So any jealous feelings Ominis has stem from his own insecurities, and they grow even worse the more he realizes he's in love with you..
Like Sebastian, he'd probably storm off to the Undercroft to calm down if he's feeling heavily upset.
Fortunately, you're quick to defend him and decline other people's advances, saying you'd much rather hang out with him.
When you nearly got into a wand duel/fistfight over something insulting they said about him, that's when he realizes you cared about him as more than a friend...
Though he wanted to test the waters, so to speak, before hyping himself up to confess to you.
So throughout the week, Ominis expressed subtle desires to be in closer proximity to you (which you were fine with despite being initially confused at his sudden change in behavior)
These are, but not limited to, linking arms while walking in the hallways, napping beside you while you were reading or petting a random cat, "accidentally" falling asleep on your shoulder in History of Magic, and letting you guide him through assignments in herbology and potions class so he took the correct measurements (his grades improved, which is always a plus).
It takes a little bit of encouragement from Sebastian, but by the week's end, he courts you in one of his favorite spots outside the castle, gathering flowers, candles, and everything.
You truly made him feel loved..and he was going to do his best to reciprocate that.
How he wishes he could see the looks on those Gryffindor preps' faces when they realize the "hero of Hogwarts" is his date.
Poppy Sweeting
Considering how little she spoke to other students, even ones from her own house, this Hufflepuff found it difficult to get close to you at first.
You being hailed as a "hero" made it especially challenging, as you seemed constantly busy and people were bugging you for attention/advice/help....all while Poppy was standing in the background, forcing a smile.
Of course, you always made time to help her rescue beasts. It became your passion, and she was happy about that. Your adventures together allowed you to connect on an emotional level.
The moment she knew she was in love was the night when you both observed a Mooncalf dance, trying to make sense of the pattern those sweet big-eyed creatures left behind.
No matter how many times you've seen them, their dances are spectacular--ever captivating.
But when Poppy asked for your opinion on the pattern she drew out, she stops after seeing your breathtaking smile, eyes practically sparkling in the glow of the moonlight..
And suddenly that's all she could focus on.
Suddenly that was the most beautiful thing in the world.
Since then, her jealousy around other students has increased tenfold...especially when one jerk who disrespected beasts bragged about their poacher parents and invited you to visit their camp.
You've never seen a girl Depulso another student so fast in your life, but Poppy acts like nothing ever happened.
Similar to Sebastian, her jealousy manifests in the form of glares and general scorn towards anyone trying to ask you out on a date (which you, fortunately, decline).
She 100% rambles to the beasts about you.
If Highwing and Lord of the Shore could talk, they'd tell her to just stfu and confess to you already bc the tension is killing them.
It only (finally) happens when you invite her to the Vivarium for the first time, and they both nudge you two together, not backing down until you finally kiss.
If any of yall know that scene in Pokémon Scarlet/Violet where the box legendary pushes Arven towards his friends...that's this exact situation.
Leander Prewett
There's not doubt that this Gryffindor was going to grow jealous of your rising popularity in Summoner's Court and Crossed Wands.
He's a sore loser, while you have generally good sportsmanship..but he secretly appreciates you encouraging him to keep practicing. He only keeps going because of your words alone.
Outside of classes and competitions, he tries to hang out with you but oftentimes your attention goes to other people--whether it's professors keeping you after class to go over extra assignments or a friend sending you an owl with an urgent request.
You don't mean to keep ditching him, but to him it feels like you're always "too busy" for him.
Leander just scowls at the owls while they stare back at him like "hey, don't shoot the messenger".
Yet even when you do manage to spend time together, he only ever asks about your recent escapades....and then refuses to believe them despite you explaining them in great detail.
To this day, he still isn't convinced you possess ancient magic.
But the truth is that he wants to believe you. He admires your bravery and is insanely in love with that aspect of you....though he doesn't know how to express that.
He wishes he can relate and have cool stories to tell, but when people bring up his name they only ever talk about his constant failures.
He doesn't feel any better when others rush to defend your acts of heroism, thinking he's being a jerk.
The truth is you actually loved him and his company despite your frequent banter, but believed him to be way out of your league.
At least until the day Professor Kogawa assigned you to help him after flying class, citing the lack of respect he's been showing to his broom and your good influence on classmates.
He saw this as his chance to impress you...and failed miserably as he was unable to focus and snapped at his broom in frustration, causing it to whack him in the face just as a group of Slytherins passed by.
They laughed and teased him relentlessly, but after scaring them off with a chomping cabbage...you realized Leander had disappeared.
But he didn't go far as you discover him sulking near the lake, hiding himself with the Disillusionment charm (which you cancelled with Revelio).
It's there he finally talks about his true feelings towards you, and you see a more vulnerable side to the typically uptight Gryffindor.
In the end, you decide to give him a chance.

IS THAT WRONG?
Pairings: George Weasley x Fem!reader Summary: George and you tend to sleep and cuddle in the same bed. Warning: none?
Tumblr media
you always found it normal, it was like an instinct to you
you've been doing it since you were kids, and over the years it just felt natural.
it started when you first came to the Burrow, you guys were 8, Fred and George invited you over for a sleepover.
you played the whole day together and when it came to bedtime, Molly said you would probably have to take the couch as there was no more room.
But George said you could share his bed, so you climbed into his bed and he set up a pillow wall inbetween you both.
you were woken up by the sound of a loud thunder and the flashing lights of the lightning. It was an understatement to say you were scared of storms, you were terrified.
you woke up George by your light sobbing and he found you under the covers, shaking.
he removed the pillow wall and put them on the floor. he pulled you closer to him, whispering that you were ok and safe. that when he's there, nothing will be able to hurt you.
you latched yourself onto him and he held you in his arms. letting you fall asleep.
from then on, when there was a storm, he would hold you and make sure you felt safe.
when you got to Hogwarts, that didn't change, the first time it stormed in your first year, you tried your best to just sleep but you couldn't. so you went to his dorm room and opened the door, finding his bed and crawling in to it, curling up next to him.
the movement woke him up and he cursed, scared by someone in his bed with him suddenly
"I'm sorry" you apologised, explaining the storm.
he wrapped his arm around you and went back to sleep after telling you it was ok.
that morning he said that if there was a storm and you couldn't sleep, to just go there to him and he'll keep you safe.
later on throughout the years you often found yourself just going to his room anyway, it started off just because you couldn't sleep, then because you felt like it, now it's just because you like it.
you like feeling safe and protected in his arms. you liked feeling his warmth and comfort. you liked it, and he liked it too, he, on the rare occasion will come to your room to sleep with you if you didn't go to his.
you and George's roommates didn't mind at first. in the first few years they thought it was cute, you guys found comfort in each other, they found it sweet.
but now that you're in your 6th year, they began to find it odd.
weird, even. I mean your friend Angie, who you shared a room with thought it was still cute, but that's because she found the idea of you two together cute. but she still felt like it was weird. and something about it was wrong.
you guys weren't together, it was only platonic, but the way you two entwined with each other while sleeping was strange to say the least, but you and George didn't think that.
even when you had a boyfriend for a bit in your 5th year, you still went to George in the night.
neither of you ever questioned it.
so when Fred finally brought it up with his twin, George grew curious and confused. there was nothing wrong with it.
"what do you mean it's weird?" George questioned his brother
"friends don't do that type of thing" Fred informed him "it's just not- it's odd"
"it's not odd, it's normal" George shrugged
"it would be normal if you were dating, not if you're only friends" Fred tries reasoning
"we're best friends" George corrected
"that doesn't make it any better- you know what, forget I said anything" Fred sighed
-
George thought about that for the rest of the day. was it really that weird, or was it just Fred that thought that?
so when he heard you come into his room that night, softly walking towards his bed, he started wondering.
he watched your figure crawl into his bed and curl up next to him
"hey" he mumbled, wrapping his arms around you as you snuggled into his chest
"hey, Georgie" you whispered
he looked down as you tangled your legs with his, your hand in his hair.
he stared at you, the moon hitting your figure perfectly.
he drew shapes on your side with his fingers gently, hearing you hum at the contact. he smiled down at you as you rested.
after a while of thinking about it, George wanted to discuss it with you
"hey Y/n?" he shifted, getting more comfortable, you groaned in protest before humming in response.
"is it wrong?" he questioned.
you moved, moving your hand from his hair, eyes remaining closed
George felt bad, you were just trying sleep and he was laying there, admiring you, wondering why you two do this.
"is what wrong, Georgie?" you grumbled
"this"
you fell silent, and he wondered if you fell asleep
"Love?" he nudged you
"huh?" you whined
"do you think it's weird that we sleep together?" he interrogated quietly.
you moved away from him, opening your eyes as you yawned
"do you?" you inquired tiredly
"no" he responded shortly
"then why are you asking?" you frowned
"I don't know, you don't think it's wrong?" he leaned up, supporting himself on his elbows
"well now I'm starting to" you rubbed your eyes
you both went quiet for a moment, making it awkward
"I'll just stop coming over then, if that makes you feel better" you removed the covers and starting getting up off of his bed, he reached up and grabbed your wrist
"no, no, I like it. come back" he pulled you back into his bed. he put the covers over you and held onto you, resting his head on your chest
"I don't know, Fred was saying it wasn't normal. that friends shouldn't do this. it's a couples thing" he told you. he felt your hands in his hair again, and he felt himself begin to relax.
"well then you should know what to do" you shrugged
you weren't gonna deny your feelings for him, after all the late nights where he would hold you and tell you he's there for you, you couldn't help but wish you guys were something more
luckily, George always felt the same deep down, how could he not. the way you curled up next to him, your hand resting on his chest, right on his heart. it made his heart beat faster, and he was sure you could feel it.
"what should I do?" he questions cluelessly
"you should ask her out, that's what" you heard Fred but in from his bed
"Fred?" George sat up, looking over to his brothers friend
"don't try to deny it. you both fancy each other." the older twin said casually as he turned in his bed
you and George both looked at each other, seeing the love and care in your eyes.
"do you- uh, Hogsmeade? t-"
"yes" you cut him off, smiling up at him. he smiled back, laying back doing, holding you in his arms.
