CHICAGO CON- BUS TOUR

So I wanna make a whole post about the bus tour. Trying to remember everything that happened. I wrote a lot lol. I'll put it all under the cut so feel free to ignore if you want :)

Thursday was the bus tour. Here's me and Jana waiting.

They told us no pictures of Rich, only the big group pictures. We were in the back and the mic thing wasn't working so it was a little hard to hear. Rich looked so freaking good tho.

I won't post the group picture, they're out there. On the way to the aquarium Rich was talking about tasty fish. He was reading off the internet the whole time lol.

When we were going there we played bean trivia game (as in, the food XD) I feel like he was quickly becoming disinterested in beans 😂

Next was lunch. Note, at this point we haven't really said anything to Rich, just kinda let him mind his own business and admire from a distance as we wandered around. We maybe said hello lol. He was mainly with his handler (Hillary?) And I was content with that, I mostly wanted to see Chicago anyways.

Getting off the bus at lunch was the first time he really talked to us. He noticed the hats, confirmed mine was the same (you can see I was wearing mine backwards) He asked where we got them, and I had to explain I googled it and ordered online. He told us we should visit the restaurant we bought it from (The old place, near LA). I think that was it. He seemed happy? XD

Lunch was pizza of course. He came over to our table towards the end and asked how it was. Then he inquired about our drinks (I had a beer lol) and told us how much time we had left. We left and got gelato from a café around the corner and stood outside the restaurant to eat. Rich was standing there too, said desert was a good choice or something like that, then went down the street to take a like 20 min phone call that continued onto the bus. I think it was work related XD

At some point, I don’t remember when, a bird pooped on Rich and he borrowed wipes from someone to clean off his jacket fffffff.

Next was Navy Pier. Where I died. After the group picture me and like 5 other people bought margaritas XD By the time that was done, the group had completely dispersed. So we just walked around until we stopped at this really nice view with a pirate ship to take pictures.

I think I noticed Rich was walking by, but I was content to let him go and just be in his presence lol. But he stops and asks Jana for her phone to take pictures of us. I sat the margarita down that was in my hand and ran next to her 😂 He tells us to take the masks off that we had over our chins cause we looked like Abe Lincoln XD He took like three different pics, this is my fav.

I’m grinning like an idiot because RICH WAS BEHIND THE CAMERA. I think I was giggling the whole time. So, I thought that was it, he started to walk away, but then he came back. Said to Jana, give me your phone. I’m not doing anything creepy (or something to that effect) He told me to turn my hat around and TOOK SELFIES WITH US.

I think that counts as being directed by him, yeah? 😂

Afterwards he said he didn’t bring the horny hat cause he thought he’d been wearing it too much. I think we audibly protested XD. He said we should have let him known I think, and that we could photoshop the picture so he had the right hat on. Then he moved on for real lol.

Our last stop was at Wrigley field. Cute story. We were in the gift shop, and I was standing behind Rich in the check out line. He was buying little baseball bats for his kids, and the check out lady was like, aren’t you on supernatural? He was really nice about it, and when he left and I got to check out, the lady was talking to another customer. He was like, he was right there I didn’t know, and the lady said she couldn’t remember his name. I said its Richard, like, no biggie I just shop with the spn cast XD

Later outside we were just waiting around and the lady came running out of the store and asked Rich for a selfie, and he took one with her! I thought it was adorable.

That was the end of the tour. After lunch we got to swap seats so we were in the front of the bus for the ride back. It was basically a mini Rich panel with him right in our faces lol. Highlights were that he thought Gabriel was kind of the bad guy in Unfinished Business, and that he didn’t think Rowena and Gabe went all the way in the library cause there wasn’t enough time. But then he said that since Rob and Ruth were together now, he’d say Gabe and Rowena did to mess with Rob XD

We said thank you and bye at the hotel and that was it! One last thing we did was at registration that night, I commissioned Scout to fix Rich’s hat for us.

Ok, I wrote so much XD In conclusion, I think Navy Pier is my favorite place on the planet now 😅

Louis' album is mentioned by name in the article, spilling the beans on the "one word title" he'd teased: it's called 'Walls.' And at the end of the article it says, 'preorder Walls, the new album from Louis Tomlinson, out Jan 2020.' WELL ALL RIGHT. Obviously you can't actually order it and when the official online version posted later in the day they'd edited it to just say the album was coming Jan but both the release info and the fact that pre-orders are that close is very exciting indeed! Of note: he registered song called Walls last month, which is presumably on the LP. This news that we clearly weren't meant to find out just yet or quite this way kind of stole the show from the rest of the article for sure but the rest is also good! Very cute. Louis muses on how much the fandom hates new things ("they're not mad on change, the fans") and talks about the wardrobe items we won't be seeing again (headbands, red trousers, braces) but that "if I'm on holiday I might try to look hard so I'll probably wear sleeveless tops again," and the interviewer asks about We Made It. places like i said like churches, groups, chatrooms, sites, apps, hotlines the apps and hotlines are good if u cant travel or want to talk to ppl who wont share their story bc maybe u cant hear it like its not the kinda help ur looking for. hotlines are sometimes tricky bc some of those folks are not educated they are volunteers so judgment leaks thru and in that case u ask to be redirected and report that volunteer so hopefully they dont repeat that kinda mess to other vulnerable folks looking for help

make a list of things, anything. list of foods u like to order, list of things that make u clench yr teeth, what were yr fave gifts you’ve ever got, style icons of urs, hobbies u tried that annoyed u, movies u can always watch, places on yr skin u hate being touched, any list of anything it doesnt have to be the usual thing of “what to live for” bc when yr depressed those kinds of things arent easy to think of. but if u get a list going of like “best things ive ever touched” “sounds that make me laugh” “trends that were stupid af” “popular things that i didnt like n couldnt figure out why they were popular” “weirdest ppl ive met” well those things might get u on a roll of good memories or laughing or seeing that theres more to yr life than what has been occupying yr thoughts

dancing. dance in yr room in the dark. clear some space. put on some headphones. lock yr door. do it in the shower. just dance. i had to start w closing my eyes and picking songs that i was taken by emotionally. songs that made me jump and slamdance tbh and then it’s just gotten more and more something im not as ashamed w. i spent a date night w james just dancing and then we ya know ya know bc the dancing got so wild. now i make playlists of songs that set moods for diff kinds of dancing

watch shows w ppl who arent doing better than u. they dont live in fancy places, they dont do much w their lives, they dont dress better than u, they struggle, they arent eating good food u dont have access to. iasip. freaks and geeks. letterkenny. undeclared. jake and amir. tpb. the state. youtube. tiktok/vine comps. lots of these kinds of vibes on youtube

podcasts. improv comedy podcasts tbh saved my life. comedy bang! bang! has best of’s those are good ones to start w. improv4humans bc matt besser has great guests of some of the best improvisers out there and he has musical guests and they’ll play a song and the improvisers will use it as inspo for a scene

make things. moodboards. pinterest. playlists. fill a shopping cart and tell yrself “i’ll get it when i win the lotto and move away from anyone who knows me so i can be the me i wanna be w/out judgement” make tea. make a meal if u can. make yr bed. clean one thing. clean the sink. hang some clothes or go thru yr drawers and clean them out. throwing things out feels hard at first but then it’s nice bc u feel less bogged down

find something to throw yr obsession at for a bit. something that wont hurt u as bad, being obsessed in general isnt good. everything in moderation irl. too much of something is bad just as much as too less of it can be bad. but yr looking for something lower risk here and if u gotta be obsessed w a celeb or a song or a food that’s ok. yr focusing the energy on something that isnt a substance so be proud of it

give yrself a break. give yrself some credit. everyday isnt gonna be on the “best of your name here’s days” but sometimes u just live to live bc that’s what u do. u wait it out and get thru it and wait for the sun to come back out. and if u cant get outta bed. or if you hate yr job and wanna scream- that’s normal it’s more normal than always being happy ppl just dont like talking abt bc society kinda trains us to hide our fucked upness idk why but thats how it is. they dont wanna tell us to do preventative care until we’re in the pits

all in all- it comes down to (at least for me) not planning w an endgoal in mind. it’s not over til it’s over and rlly we dont know. it’s all fluctuating and not meant to be a finish line we cross and then suddenly we’re done and we dont suffer anymore and the feeling of shit is gone or the risk of relapse is gone and the depression is cleared away never to be seen again. it’s not realistic. bc it isnt real. on the real- risk is always there and the downs and ups mix and run together and depression is not curable (this isnt something to be miserable over tho) depression isnt curable, yeah ok, but it is manageable. it can be quieted down from time to time and if u keep up w yr healthy routines and coping mechanisms- depression will still find its way to u bc the real world is not something u can manage. death in the family, loss of money or job, car breaking down, sickness outta nowhere, depression grows wild when these very real life stressors come into our lives. but all that too eventually gets easier and easier at least from a “ok i have some distance now” standpoint. and then as those days get more and more btwn it u can then be like “oh wow, ive made it thru X amount of days! ive put up w it this long! whats one more day, whats one more week, hell might as well see how much prouder i can feel once ive got a year under my belt!” plus u will be more capable of handling the bullshit if u know u can still find some safe places in yr coping skills or friends or resources.

ok so this is prob a mess but bottomline know this:

Chan’s letter: this is where my years of studying author’s word choice and context clues finally prove useful. Chan’s letter only assured me that something extremely off is happening with stray kids. Firstly, Chan posted the letter on fanship, at around 1 am KST, and idk about you but that’s a very odd time and place to post such a letter. I’m sure many korean stays were asleep at that time, and considering the fact that it was in korean, it should’ve been posted at a more convenient time to reach the audience it’s intended to reach. It’s suspicious. As if he was prevented from saying anything and he finally found the chance to. Secondly, Chan said that he “tried so hard” to make Woojin stay and that we “must accept” the fact they are not nine anymore. If this was really Woojin’s choice, the statement would be more like “we will move on”, rather than “must accept”. This only shows that they were forced and they had no power to stop it. That Woojin was forced out.

Stray kids’ disappearance: it’s been more than a week and there’s still nothing from them. We know stray kids, and they can’t live a day without interacting with us in a way. It’s just strange that they’re silent. You might say that they’re dealing with it, thus the silence, but are they really? If this was Woojin’s choice, the members would respect it and comfort stays, or just interact with them in any way. Their silence shows rejection more than acceptance. No, even if they’re preparing for a comeback, that wouldn’t prevent them from giving us a little update. This is just unnatural, I’m sorry.

I doubt that a family issue would be big enough to force Woojin to terminate his contract (still a possibility I have in mind tho), so it must be that he was kicked out for something that came out of the blue. Because they had plans for 9 and if they knew he would leave, they would’ve prepared cle 3 for 8 (ew I hate that number so much wtf) beforehand. Since that’s not what happened, it’s as clear as day that he was kicked out.

Woojin, a few days before the announcement: nothing!! Nothing in his posts or attitude showed that he was uncomfortable or down, he seemed perfectly fine. Now I know, we can’t always tell what people are going through, but I believe someone who’s struggling wouldn’t be posting selfies like nothing’s wrong. He showed no signs, there were no hints that this is a mental health issue. Plus, JYPE took care of mina so I’d like to think that they would do the same thing for stray kids (JYPE is skz’s biggest antis I don’t take objections). Point is, the only valid justifications are that he was kicked out, or that some serious family situation is going on… “personal reasons” mean nothing and clarify nothing.

Crickets: again, the silence. But this time from JYPE themselves. The fact that they’re trying to do this quietly is suspicious. If it was really a leave from Woojin’s behalf, something of his own choice, they would do what they did for Jamie. They would give the fans a good, properly written, statement and I’m sure they would give Woojin a chance to say goodbye. But what’s happening right now is exactly what happened with an ex-member of Day6, whom we later learned was fired. If this is JYPE’s way of handling potential scandals, well… that’s a pretty crappy way of doing it… we shouldn’t be brushing this off.

Contract termination: terminating a contract takes months. Should it be done quickly, it will either require a lot of money from the idol or just a word from the ceo. Not to sound weird or anything but, I doubt that Woojin has the money to waste on terminating his contract with JYPE (especially knowing how much skz mean to him) so it must be JYPE’s word. The only situation in which JYPE would do such a thing is if the idol broke a rule and they want them fired, there is no other plausible justification for ruining a blossoming career. And considering that the news is sudden, it means that the contract was terminated in a short time, meaning that it was JYPE’s work.

What can we do?

I’ve seen people claiming that contract terminations are irreversible and I’ve done my research… enlighten me if I’m wrong but there’s nothing?? That says such?? Again, google might’ve failed me so correct me if I’m wrong but, termination doesn’t mean that they can’t write another contract. So telling stays who are trying to reach out to JYPE to bring Woojin back to stop is selfish and disheartening. Are you really willing to give him up that quickly? Fans have enough power to change JYPE’s mind. If they see how much this will affect them, financially, they will rethink. So be smart. Do things that will directly affect JYPE, not skz in that context. Unsubscribe from JYPE, watch their stocks fall. There’s absolutely no harm in trying to spread hastags like #bringWoojinBack and #weWantWoojinBack. Chan fought to keep nine, I’m sure seeing stays fight for it too wouldn’t be “pressurizing” as y’all are saying (ofc this is all under the suspicion that Woojin was forced out. If it was his choice we have no say in it).

I know it’s not good to spread false hope, but what’s better, trying and failing? Or never attempting and wondering what would’ve happened if we tried? At least we tried, at least we fought. But saying thank you and moving on? Idk but it just breaks my heart. We shouldn’t be afraid of heartbreak, for life is not an easy walk in the park… you can’t avoid things just because. “Hideyoshi, just please.” Ieyasu groaned. “For the love of everything that you consider holy, stop pacing.”

Hideyoshi waved a hand. “I can’t.”

“Can’t?” Ieyasu grumbled behind his coffee mug. “Or won’t?”

“Both.” Hideyoshi ran a hand nervously through his hair. “The post office told me it’ll be here by six a.m. And it’s -” Hideyoshi shot a glance at the clock “ - been ten minutes since.”

Ieyasu sighed loudly. Or groaned again. He was not sure. Mornings without having two black coffees first were blurry at best; he was only halfway through his first. That Hideyoshi had been pacing like a panicking chicken around the kitchen island made this morning just a little bit more surreal. Then again, Hideyoshi pacing should not have been a new thing.

“It’ll get here.” Mitsunari said brightly as he slathered what looked like his third slab of peanut butter onto the toast in his hand. Ieyasu shuddered, taking away the peanut butter from him.

“You’ll make yourself sick.”

“What?” Hideyoshi and Mitsunari both asked, turning to him.

Ieyasu grumbled, reflexively shrinking back into his hoodie, unable to take both their attention at the same time. “Ugh. Stop. Please let me have my second coffee before you shine on me.” Mitsunari offered to get him a second cup (Ieyasu declined). Hideyoshi muttered something about heart palpitations before resuming his pacing (Ieyasu ignored).

“Well, isn’t this a chaotic sight.” Mitsuhide appeared by the kitchen door, already looking fresh and prepped for the day, his white hair slicked back to dry.

Ieyasu gestured at Hideyoshi who was peeking at the living room window again. “Package day.”

Mitsuhide raised his brows in understanding. “Well. This country’s postal system has never failed us before.”

“That’s right.” Mitsunari added. “Lord Nobunaga’s packages always reach us.”

“I know. I know.” Hideyoshi stopped in front of them, pointing a finger on his own watch. “But the question is when, when, when.”

“Sooner than you think.” Masamune piped, moving away from the stove and placing the scrambled eggs on the last empty plate. “Now settle down like good children and have breakfast. We can’t keep vigil on Nobunaga’s package on empty stomachs.”

Everyone agreed, save for Hideyoshi who scratched his head; anxious and ready to explode.

As much as Ieyasu wanted to ignore Hideyoshi, their kitchen-island/dining area could fit only six people, and there was no way he could miss Hideyoshi managing to do two more laps around the island before settling down on his usual seat.

“I can’t take this anymore.” He declared.

Ieyasu was about to open his mouth to say that Hideyoshi was not the only one, when all of a sudden the doorbell rang. Hideyoshi shot out of his seat and managed to get to the door in two steps. Not that it was impossible given how tiny their apartment was but the speed still managed to rock Hideyoshi’s chair back. Masamune only barely saved it from hitting the floor.

Mitsuhide chuckled, bringing his mug to his lips. “I just love the smell of freshly brewed coffee and the taste of panic in the morning.”

“Don’t be mean.” Masamune said but there was no reprimand in his voice. “Hideyoshi hasn’t been sleeping well since Nobunaga took that vacation.”

“It was his idea.” Ieyasu said, watching Hideyoshi at the corner of his eye. Hideyoshi peeped through the window, said something incoherent about punctuality and how young ones just cannot be expected to keep time anymore, before yanking open the door.

“Yeah.” Masamune answered. “But Hideyoshi thought he was going to go with him.”

Ieyasu could still remember how Hideyoshi had been on the verge of a breakdown as Nobunaga waved at them before passing through the luggage check-in at the airport. He could also distinctly remember Hideyoshi making Nobunaga promise to send him proof he arrived at his hotel safely.

Nobunaga had agreed. Hideyoshi had looked hopeful. Ieyasu had chosen to ignore the look Nobunaga had given Hideyoshi. He had also chosen to stop himself from asking if Hideyoshi, in his grief, caught that mischievous twinkle in Nobunaga’s eyes.

Twenty four hours into his absence, Nobunaga’s package had arrived: five beautifully crafted store-bought hotel mugs, one for each of them, with their initials stylishly handpainted at the bottom.

Hideyoshi had been beside himself with joy and relief, happily admiring his white mug with a bold green HT, and saying something about Nobunaga’s excellent taste -

Until he opened the envelope that came with the mugs. It contained pictures, mostly selfies. The top of the pile showed that Nobunaga did arrive at his hotel in Germany as he promised. The succeeding pictures also showed that he had begun a spontaneous cross-trekking trip from Europe to Asia using only a popular ride-sharing app.

The last picture was Nobunaga on the side of a road in the middle of what looked like a dense forest. He was smiling his usual gallant smile and he was holding a piece of paper where he wrote the words, “EVERYTHING IS FINE”. A car was behind him, smoking as cars usually did when they hit trees at very high speeds.

How Nobunaga managed to take them all and print them all and then send them to the apartment within twenty-four hours would remain mystery until he arrived.

How they had managed to stop Hideyoshi from going hysterical and following Nobunaga was all thanks to a second package that arrived twenty minutes from the first. It had another picture and a letter specifically telling Hideyoshi not to follow Nobunaga and to wait for him to come back. It also contained a promise that Nobunaga would be sending packages periodically over time. So there should be nothing for them to worry about.

Ieyasu had welcomed the idea of an extended break from their work. Masamune and Mitsuhide had agreed with him. Mitsunari had wondered out loud if they could ask Nobunaga for specific souvenirs. Only Hideyoshi seemed to foam at the mouth. Everyone that was not Mitsuhide tried to console him. And at that time, Ieyasu had somehow felt sorry for him and almost regretted not mentioning that he had a hunch Nobunaga was up to something.

Until Hideyoshi began his ritual pacing whenever it was time for Nobunaga’s package to arrive. Now, Ieyasu was past caring. Nobunaga needed to come back asap to get him sorted out.

“What is it, Hideyoshi?” Mitsuhide asked as Hideyoshi closed the door “What did our lord and master send over this time?”

Ieyasu set down his mug and watched as Hideyoshi carried the box into their kitchen area. It was a bit large, almost three feet tall and five feet across. It had red FRAGILE stickers all over, and somehow Ieyasu had the distinct impression Nobunaga had been given free reign of how much tape went on the box.

“That screams Nobunaga all over, doesn’t it?” Masamune commented, pushing back from the table to stand beside Hideyoshi.

“Did the postman say what’s inside?” Mitsunari asked, wiping excess rice from his chin.

“He didn’t.” Hideyoshi crouched down and placed a hand on top of the box.

“Well? Go on.” Mitsuhide said from where he sat. “Open it.”

HIdeyoshi sighed, shoulders slumping. “It’s like, I want to. But I’m afraid of what I’m going to find inside.”

Mitsuhide snorted. Masamune laughed.

“The live seafood was a shocker.” Masamune managed to wheeze. “Even if we did have to move half the living room to fit the aquariums. Tasted good tho.”

“Get it over with.” Ieyasu grumbled even as he got down from his own chair. “Here.” He handed Hideyoshi a pair of scissors. “The sooner you know the sooner we can all calm down.”

Hideyoshi wiped his hand on his nape. “All right.”

It took three whole minutes for Hideyoshi to cut through the packaging tape. He hesitated just short of cutting the box but then sighed and drove the scissors through. He pried it open the rest of the way and revealed a stack of items each wrapped in multi-colored cellophane wrapped around bubble wrap which in turn was wrapped around something. Ieyasu couldn’t see.

“So it wasn’t overkill then.” Masamune kneeled beside Hideyoshi. “These do look breakable.”

“Mason jars.” Mitsunari said from the far end of the table.

Hideyoshi made a noise as he picked up one of the jars and held it to the light. “I can’t see through all the wrapping.”

Never trust Nobunaga with tape. Or any packaging adhesive for that matter. Everything was fragile in his standards.

“Have you tried shaking it?” Mitsuhide asked.

Hideyoshi cast him a suspicious look. “You shake it.”

“Cowards.” Ieyasu sighed, picking one, testing its weight before placing it on the table. “What did the note say?”

“The card that came with said it was for health.”

“Great.” Ieyasu muttered. With the way things are looking, he needed something for all the stress. He began to pick at the wrapping. The cellophane was easy but it only revealed that the bubblewrap was secured by duct tape. Ieyasu sighed, cut through the damn thing, and peeled back Nobunaga’s obvious obsessiveness with packing materials.

The jar contained little multi-colored shapes, no bigger than a dime. Ieyasu turned it over and realized the they formed a rainbow. He quickly turned around to announce this, only to see that Masamune, Mitsuhide and Hideyoshi had all taken their jars and stepped back. And they were beckoning for a clueless Mitsunari to join them. “Seriously?!”

“You have to be honest, Nobunaga’s ideas get wilder each time.” Mitsuhide said in what seemed like everyone’s defense.

Ieyasu opened his mouth and then closed it. He really needed two coffees to be fully functional. “Mason jars could have seriously hurt us if Nobunaga made them burst in our face. They’re not made of tempered glass.”

“He would have bought something safe.” Hideyoshi said in automatic defense.

Mitsuhide raised a brow. “So you’re not against the idea of Nobunaga actually sending us a prank.”

Hideyoshi stiffened.

“Well?” Ieyasu waived an impatient hand. “I got meringue.”

“You what?!”

Masamune barked a laugh, tore at the wrappers, opened the jar, and took a sniff. “They’re technically healthy all right.” He scooped out something small and dark in his hands. “Chocolate balls.”

“Jawbreakers.” Mitsuhide announced.

“Sour tapes.” Mitsunari said.

Hideyoshi clutched his chest. “These aren’t healthy at all!”

“Oh!” Mitsunari clapped his hands. “But these are great when you feel a bit nauseous. It helps keep you levelled. And sugar helps keep you going if you have no food and are really hungry.”

“I have just maybe a very vague idea of what yours could be, Hideyoshi.” Mitsuhide grinned, popping a jawbreaker into his mouth. “Take a guess?”

Hideyoshi swallowed. “It’s that damned thing, isn’t it?”

“Your favorite.” Mitsuhide snickered.

Hideyoshi groaned, asked the heavens why did Nobunaga keep on torturing him, and proceeded to open his jar. The act seemed to take him forever and when he finally cracked open the jar, he let out the longest sigh Ieyasu had heard him have. “Konpeito.” Hideyoshi said in defeat.

“It’s all konpeito.” Mitsunari said as he went through the rest of the mason jars in the box.

Ieyasu was not sure whether he should pat Hideyoshi on the back or join in the laughter. He did not have a taste for sweets either. The meringue almost felt like punishment too.

But first before any consoling can be done, Ieyasu needed second cup of coffee.

Ok, let’s get this out. Posting about these things always seems to help

My mum had really wanted to do one of those escape-the-room game things so my dad booked us (including my auntie, uncle and cousins) to go today, since its her birthday tomorrow but he, being considerate, asked me a while ago if I’d be ok and if I felt like I’d end up getting freaked out there (because anxiety/autism) and I said yea, I’d rather not go and he let me off. But my brother told him I should go, since it’s for our mum and she really wanted us to do it so he made me go. And like, I understand, I do usually try to do things that make me anxious/panicky if its a family thing so I gave in and went

Except that I had been walking around all day, for like 5-6 hours, probably? Just out shopping in town and I’m pretty sure I’ve sprained my ankle or something at this point. I had also forgotten my auntie was gonna be there and I find it so hard to be around her for too long. She’s just... loud and overwhelming, and tends to make “jokes” that just upset/irritate me or that I don’t understand. So I was stuck in a small room for almost an hour with everyone talking and shouting over one another and just... a lot happening all at once, and a few things that kinda nagged at my OCD and I was pretty much just standing off to the side trying to keep my breathing steady the whole time, and when I’m like that I sound either completely deadpan or super angry/annoyed so I felt bad for sounding mean, all while also in pain and limping slightly

Got through the game, I was still in pain but the anxiety wasn’t too bad. We had a short break then we were going to eat, at a place that I do honestly quite like but the thing is this restaurant is underground and it’s kind of split up in these dimly-lit, rather small rooms so it was once again very loud plus I was sitting right next to my auntie

I was ok talking to her for a while, a little uneasy, but not too bad until she takes her phone out trying to get me take a selfie with her for Snapshat (I think?), I asked her not to but she just kept trying to pull me in/turn the camera on me and like, the thing is, that’s the kind of thing I associate with when I was bullied back in school, so I got upset and told her to stop

So 1. I’ve sprained my ankle, 2. I’m still trying to calm myself after the escape room, 3. I’m nearing sensory hell in this loud and sort of dark room, 4. my auntie’s messing with me when I’m clearly upset and then my brother snaps at me to behave because we’re out for our mum’s birthday and I already felt guilty enough for acting off and complaining about my sore foot and that tips me over the edge and I start crying. My brother actually asks my mum to tell me to stop as well but when she sees me crying, she shuts him up and gets my dad. I kept trying to say I was fine but if I try to talk while crying I just cry more. My dad takes me outside to calm down, my brother comes out a moment later to apologise and give me a hug (and look no matter what I always appreciate hugs from my bro ok) and I talk it out a bit with my dad, calm down enough and go back inside. Everyone kind of... plays it off I guess? My auntie hugs me and doesn’t bother me so much but y’know, she’s still a little much for me to handle just in general. But my mum did keep reaching over to pat my shoulder and ask if I was alright. I did manage to talk and joke a bit afterwards but god I was just furiously stimming under the table I felt so bad

But it’s over now and I’m calming down and I’m gonna go through the nice stuff you guys sent me to bring me out of this~ I think it goes without saying tho, I probably won’t get any fics updated tonight. it’s 11pm and I really don’t think I feel up for it atm

he gets the most comments on his youtube videos from people saying he’s beautiful

he’ll always be like “gosh i know i’m pretty”

but lowkey he’s all like “awwww” like a blushing baby because it feels nice knowing others find you good-looking

at first he was in disbelief bc like ?? the comments are probably just exaggerating

but they continue through all of his videos so now

he prefers getting comments that are actually about the video/ dance/ game he’s posted though

like he’s practically on the hunt for people commenting on how they found his gameplay or if they liked what he choreographed

it’s kind of sad because he tries so hard, putting effort into his dancing and being fun in his game streams

but then a lot of comments are just about his face

he’s really quiet about this problem because he doesn’t want to seem ungrateful for all the comments about his beauty

but he would also appreciate comments on how skilled he is

i feel like i got kinda sad here tho so lets bring up the mood :))

he constantly sees felix replying to the comments about him being pretty

like “yEAH HE’S GOT NICE LIPS BUT DID YOU SEE THAT CARTWHEEL HE DID???”

the comments are funny but he’s glad that felix is out there trying to make people aware of his efforts

and that’s evident when he randomly appears in woojin’s videos

he really loves games like overwatch and paladins because you get to choose which character you can be for the matches

he loves changing it up and getting a feel of all the different characters and their individual abilities

finds them so interesting and would genuinely want to get into a game-making career when he’s older

while he does solo game streams

like when a youtuber tries out a horror game or smth

he’ll just start rambling about any particular character and he ends up not getting scared by any jumpscares etc.

once invited chan over to play one and chan literally sCREAMED 

he has since lost his faith in hyunjin 

because hyunjin managed to video the whole thing

and shared that video in the SK group chat

felix cut down the video to just when chan was screaming 

they forever mock him with that lmao

hyunjin also likes rapping but he isn’t as open with it as the 3racha guys

he and felix will rap along horribly to their songs in front of them and jisung’s just crying in the background like TnT

and he’s rapping in a few of the instagram videos when the group are just chilling, messing about

but that’s about it

people keep requesting for him to do a whole song or smth

but he’s kinda shy??? like, he wants to improve more before showing everyone else

he stays up late practising and the guys are proud of the effort but are always telling him to rest <3333

the instagram is also filled up with loads of his selfies because he just really loves taking pics

but he’s always doing something funny in the pics

like chan was sleeping and he used snapchat’s faceswapping filter on himself and chan

it was so weird but he still posted it bc yolo

also got a short video of himself shooting a fingergun at felix

and then felix, in the back, moved his head as he got shot

it took really long to align felix’s head with the end of hyunjin’s finger gun

but the outcome was worth it

he slowed down the video and it looked really badass

he’s also got blackmail material on everyone in the group

from the full video of changbin acting cute to the most ugly screenshots during their skype/ face time sessions

he has shit on jeongin too

but he’s too nice to actually use it against him

jeongin usually just listens to him anyway

so he keeps the screenshots for sentimental reasons

he’s 1/4 of the ‘00 line gamers

and whenever they’re in a group game together

he’ll call the shots and be leader

and they all listen to him

bc he has almost always lead his team to victory

he was all bashful like “guuuuys we’re a TEAM, we don’t need a leader”

but they made him leader anyways

takes advantage of seungmin’s lack of proper strategy when he’s against him and always goes after him to perfect new trickshots

and then in the next match they’ll be on the same team and he’ll do a complete 180 and help him out so much

he likes how they all depend on him and trust him

not just during games but when the guys have their serious talks too

he knows that he can trust them with whatever and vice versa

also really loves how the older guys (esp. chan) will try to help him because he’s quite young, still learning life and going through typical teenage stuff

and also loves how there are other guys that are his age so he finds it easier to relax around them all

will also try to give the ones younger than him his own advice

(he feels so mature when he does that like wow damn you go hyunjin!)
