Hey can we stop pretending like the only feasible reason that a trans woman would not like the term femboy is because she's some puritan anti-kinkster or somehow against men being able to dress femininely?
Like perhaps maybe the group of people who had to go through a phase of having to figure out and explore their femininity while being perceived by society as a man DON'T WANT to police the way men are able to present and express their genders? Like maybe WE DON'T want to make things even harder for transfem eggs. Like maybe we might have an interest in protecting transfem eggs and are speaking from the harm that we experienced as eggs ourselves?
Like maybe it might have to do with the fact that outside of Tumblr your average femboy is a trap fetishist? Like did we all forget the memes of "trying to figure out if the Astofolo icon is a trans woman or a fascist?"
Like some of us were discovering our transness during puberty in the early 2000s. You remember the early 2000s right? Where South Park and Family were at the height of their cultural influence, the R slur was a substitute for stupid, and bigotry was so common that "traps are gay" jokes could be made in polite company without having to worry about backlash. So imagine what kink spaces were like. Especially when you're a teenage trans girl just discovering herself.
I personally was so damaged by that experience that I began to believe that my gender-no my EXISTENCE was a fetish to be embarrassed and humiliated by and to be reviled for. I genuinely did not engage in relationships because I believed I was going to have to give in and tell them that they fell in love with a sex object. I did not believe that I was worthy of love. And it took YEARS of working through that for me to be comfortable with transitioning.
And after I worked through that I still have to deal with them. They haven't left kink communities they had their roots in. To this day there's a kink website I frequent that has community suggestions for tags IE: Unless the OP of the work goes back to delete this feature, anyone can "recommend" deletions or additions to the tags of the work. This is in place to make the proper labeling/searching/blacklisting of kinks easier to help curate content. In practice though it allows transmisoginists to basically graffiti any transfem artwork they come across. And let me tell you Femboy tags are getting added on right after they replace F/F with M/M on a transbians t4t work. And it happens so frequently that I have to check in about once a month to these trans tags to inform the most recent victim about what's happened to their works.
And outside of kink spaces I go into fandom spaces where I have had to deal with trap fetishists positioning themselves as fucking lore scholars when they harass trans positive folks about the Correct and Moral gender of the transmisoginistic character that they've got a fap folder dedicated. I got to see someone rise to twitch fame off the back of trap content turn into a “femboy icon” because he gave some of the trap money to trans charities and has a trans girlfriend. Who is still making trap content by the way.I've gotten to see reddit lose their absolute goddamn minds when the term Trap was banned from r/anime, shitting themselves so hard about it that they made their own separate website with transmisogynistic wojaks on the home page and everything. And then I got to see the fucking Bridget Debacle.
The reason I always talk about Bridgets trans confirmation is that it's the most widely recognized recent event where the exact shit I'm talking about was on full display. The reason why her being confirmed as a trans woman was such a big deal for trans girls was not just because she was one of the anime caricatures with her own folder in the trap enthusiasts masterbation portfolio. It was because she was GROUND ZERO for original coining of the word trap. And the EXACT same guys who deemed her a trap were now coming out in DROVES fuck EN MASS. But this time as self appointed femboys. We had so many examples of fucking Astofolo icon twitter facists trying to drudge up any type of left sounding argument using the femboy identity after having their initial arguments revolving around mistranslation were debunked. Crying that transfems were “stealing femboy representation” and trying to say that it was an “antitransmasculization force feminization trope” ironically. You know the cry of “Let men be feminine!!!!” y'all always bring out in defense of femboys. THAT'S who you're parroting! THAT'S who you got it from! We have had direct evidence of former trap fetishists dawning the term femboy when it became less cool to be openly transmisogynistic and then started appropriating leftist language to give their transmisogynistic arguments an air of legitimacy.
Like y'all need to understand that this magical space we got here is a FUCKING BUBBLE. Femboy communities in literally every other online space are former trap/sissy communities and are fucking cess pits of transmisoginy. I have seen posts by people who's only experience being around femboys was on Tumblr go out and check a place like r/mildfemboys to be horrified by the obsessiveness of the transmisogyny the femboys they interact with. And the femboys here aren't much better by treating being forced to acknowledge that these people exist and that is a still very active part of their community even if they don't personally interact with it as a personal attack on them and their gender presentation.
Y'all just want to pretend it doesn't exist and treat the idea that a Transfem might not WANT to interact with YOU(OH GOSH!!) because of it like it's some sort of personal judgement instead of something you're just going to have to accept happens when there's a large portion of people who share that title who are responsible for traumatizing them. But y'all got to go one step further. Y'all who go on about how femboys are our closest allies and about how “femboys and transfems are actually closer than transfems want to admit”. Y'all treat femboys like they're out little fucking brother in the queer community and it's our personal fucking responsibility to leave behind any personal baggage at the door in order to make them feel welcome.
Y'all can't handle the fucking idea that a trans woman might not be comfortable with sharing community with someone who's average member would call her a trap while jacking off to her selfies if he thought he could get away with it. That's she's not interested in playing the Astofolo icon game with them. Y'all gotta create a backwards narratives where she is against her own interests, where she is for making it harder for eggs in the future instead of you know. Asking for better from the communities those eggs are drawn too.
I have been forced to fucking put up with femboys in nearly every online space I've ever been in. And I
Am sick and fucking tired
Of putting up with femboys

FONTAINE ACT 2 SPOILERS [] THEORY ON THE SECOND TRIAL
Arlecchino tampered with the Oratrice, somehow, because she wanted Tartaglia taken down. In true Fontaine style, here's my line of reasoning, if it pleases the court; We know the Harbingers don't exactly all have the best opinions of one another, and it's stated both that she has her own agenda separate from what the Fatui as a whole are up to, and that Tartaglia isn't very popular among his fellow Harbingers. Not to mention, Tartaglia's voiceline, "About the Knave", is him talking about how unreliable she is, saying "If she stood to benefit from betraying others, she'd turn against the Tsaritsa in a heartbeat.". Tartaglia is a pretty upfront person unless he really has to lie, so it's likely Arlecchino knows he feels this way about her, and worried that his being in Fontaine would get in the way of her work there. It's stated that she has permission from the Tsaritsa to go forward with her plan once she has the Gnosis, but what if she wants to do something she knows the Tsaritsa wouldn't approve of? Something outside the agreed upon terms? The last thing she'd need is another harbinger there to stop her and alert the Tsaritsa. Ajax doesn't like her and never backs down from a challenge, so I'm sure she knows she can't threaten or bribe him into going along with her.
Therefore, what does she do instead? Frame Tartaglia. Killing him outright might not be possible, either because Arlecchino isn't strong enough to do it (remember, it's been revealed there's more to the Harbingers' rankings than sheer strength, and Tartaglia is described as their fighter, their "vanguard"), or, perhaps the more likely of the two options, or at least the bigger factor, the Tsaritsa wouldn't allow it. But... The Tsaritsa can't possibly hold her accountable because Tartaglia went and got arrested in Fontaine, right? Lyney admitted to going to check out the Oratrice, and honestly, who knows if he was telling us the truth when he said he didn't tamper with it. But I think, if my theory about Arlecchino's involvement is correct, there are three possibilities; Lyney tampered with the Oratrice under Arlecchino's command and lied about it, Lyney tampered with the Oratrice but does not know he did so (this would potentially require Arlecchino to have a means of wiping/altering his memory, so I think we can discard this possibility for now), or Lyney was telling us the truth, and the Oratrice was sabotaged through some other means.
After all, in the trailer, there was some pretty heavy symbolism about Arlecchino using the magic show and the twins as a distraction for her own means. This could be exactly what was meant by her pushing over the fake twins in the trailer while talking about diversions. Perhaps she sent Lyney to sabotage it, or perhaps this whole mess was her way of causing the necessary diversion to sabotage it herself while everyone else was busy with the trial. I really, really do want to believe Lyney that he's told us everything he knows, but he lied to us once before, and I can completely see why he would keep this to himself. I do, however, think it's more likely that Lyney and Lynette are ignorant to Arlecchino's plans here, and that all she used them for was a diversion to get time to tamper with the Oratrice. With everyone focused on them, she was free to attend to her plan.
It's important to note here too, we never do get told why Tartaglia was being tried at all. There really doesn't seem to be a reason to think it could possibly be him. After all, the disappearances began twenty years ago. I think it's safe to bet Tartaglia has not been active in Fontaine for twenty years, even without having a canon answer to exactly how old he is. But if someone were to, say, give an anonymous tip, or leverage the power and influence of a Fatui harbinger, she could've easily gotten suspicions turned to Tartaglia without revealing herself, perhaps by coercing someone else into coming forward with the accusation in her stead, planting some sort of evidence... something. Furina and Neuvillette, not having any reason before now to have paid attention to Tartaglia, wouldn't come to these same conclusions that the Traveller can, as someone who knows Tartaglia, or even we in the audience, who know the lore, but even if they could, would have a duty to try him regardless. They don't actually need to believe Tartaglia did it, as long as the Oratrice prints out that 'guilty' verdict. He also hasn't been giving himself the best image, both by being a Harbinger and constantly pestering everyone and anyone with power to fight him.
Put all this together, and you get my theory; Arlecchino manipulated the Oratrice to declare Tartaglia guilty under the cover of the magic show murder trial, then personally pulled the strings to get Tartaglia arrested, knowing it didn't actually matter whether or not the logic held up, so long as the Oratrice declared a guilty verdict.
I do have a second, backup guess, however. That backup theory goes as follows; Marcel's experiments were funded by the Fatui, for whatever reason. Somehow, the Oratrice knows this, even though Furina and Neuvillette seem not to. Because Tartaglia is a harbinger, it declared him guilty, even though he knows nothing of it. Maybe Ajax, the person, is innocent, but Tartaglia the Harbinger is a representation of the Fatui, and the Fatui are guilty.
A final note; I wonder if Ajax had some inkling this could happen, and that's why he chose to give the traveler his Vision? If he'd had it on his person, it probably would've been seized when he was arrested. A Vision is an important possession, and we've seen firsthand in Inazuma what happens to someone when it's taken from them, something he probably knows about. It's possible that Ajax gave it to us for the exact reasons he said he did, but it's also possible that the traveler was just the safest place for it in the meantime.
I think this really hinges on whether or not Tartaglia was faking surprise or not at his guilty verdict. There's a chance the reason why he was so eager to leave without a verdict being drawn was because he knew it would be guilty, but I'm leaning towards the idea that he was genuinely shocked, and it's just a coincidence that he gave his Vision to us.
If you've made it this far through my sleep deprived rambling, hi, I hope they made sense! How did you like the quest? Any thoughts on my theories? Objections?

Hazbin Hotel Headcannon
I've been thinking a lot about Adam, Lute, Vaggie and the exorcists. How they all work and everything that we've learned over the course of the show about them. After looking over the pictures of them without their masks and all the back dealings with heaven I was kinda starting to think...
What if their all related?
Tumblr media
Adam and Vaggie have the same skin colour. Lute has Adam's nose. They all have golden pupils (Though Vaggie's sclera is red, many have head cannoned that being from living in hell.) Vaggie and Lute both have white hair. Theres a lot of similarities between these characters physically and while that can be due to the art style, I do start to wonder.
However WHY would Lute , Vaggie and possibly all the exorcists be Adam's daughters? Well it starts to make sense when you remember that Sera wanted to keep the Exterminations under wraps. If you have Heaven Born or Saint (Dead humans who got into Heaven) warriors doing the exterminations, word would eventually get out. These people have lives outside of their work and all it would take is talking to a spouse or one of them feeling guilty before news spreads. IF you have warriors who's entire life was Exterminations, then they would A- be less likely to tell anyone and B- Be less likely to feel guilty if they weren't taught anything else.
As for where all these woman came from, my guess would be cloning. We know for a FACT that Heaven has Science.
Tumblr media
A good way to get warriors that won't have outside influence/ loose lips is if they don't have any parents that will be wondering whats going on. Cloning would also ensure that warriors will walk off the assembly line fully grown and ready to train. Adam likely used his DNA and then mixed it with donated DNA from other Heavenly Residents . All he then had to do was train his army.
OF course this opens up some rather dark things to consider. There are at least 100 Exterminators. All of them are female. The likelihood of that happening by happenstance is extremely low. Adam had to have chosen to only have woman in his army, and when you factor in Adam's misogynist, narcissistic attitude, that dose not paint a pretty picture. We also need to consider that Adam was left to train/educate these woman with almost no outside interference. Sera made it clear she wanted as little to do with the Extermination business as possible and she maybe one of the few who knew about the army's creation. IN FACT I know she had nothing to do with the army because, apparently, Adam got to name these girls and nobody, and I mean NOBODY, stopped him from naming Vaggie after female anatomy. (I wouldn't be surprised if Vaggie is a nickname and she's actually just named Vagina.)
Tumblr media
They seem to have lived a life of constant training and battle. Its also heavily implied that Vaggie (and Lute to a lesser extent) were taught to view themselves as disposable. Worthless if they didn't have someone to serve. We see it when Vaggie tries to lead the trust exercises, when she beats herself up for not making a proper commercial for the hotel, in fact she seems to have little personal life unless its training or Charlie is involved. Lute herself rips off her own arm just to try and help Adam. If Adam did raise/train them, then these are some pretty bad signs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These are just some things I was thinking about looking over the show. I am also not making this to bash anyone who ships Adam and Lute. This is all speculation and personal interpretation. I've just never felt anything romantic between Lute and Adam, but they were clearly close. I took that last, tearful goodbye in the finally as a distant, estranged Father- Daughter relationship.
Anyway, what do you think? Its highly unlikely this is true, but could make for a fun, dark fan fiction or Au!

@marvelmaniac715 I just had an idea of what if the original people that lived on the Hatchetfield island were the ones who worshipped the Lords and the Waylons and Starry church married into the practices. Oh and you @notanerdyprude
And the reason the world didn't end for those people was they had a bunch of safety measures and rules in place and many rituals. Things that were lost when the hatchet men came and destroyed things.
And the black book is all that survived.
Gonna do a read more so people aren't discouraged from reblogging. Please do reblog I spent a long time typing and thinking this out. You guys can use this idea if you credit me!
I've been thinking about it. Like the life drain spell originally having been a sharing spell. Where a group would spread out the giving up of a few years for one person, greatly extending their life without massively impact a single other life. Or those close to the end giving up their last years for someone they love.
Maybe the trees growing from human souls, used to be a burial ritual. Where those who so chose would be buried to provide fruit for their families for years to come. And their leaves would change to the color of the respective Lord they followed when they wanted to be cut down and released from the tree. And they helped keep the power of the gift in the woods to make it more likely for the people who live there to get the gift. They weren't trapping the gift away from people, it was a blanket to encourage more gift given kids.
The reason everything grows so well is it was originally infused with the souls of willing people who wanted to provide for their people. And now the woods are full of trapped souls and fruit doesn't grow. Plants grow, but the trees refuse to fruit because why would they want to? You killed those people and planted them unwillingly.
The reason the Lords weren't able to take over the world was these people knew the risks and kept them from having total power. Like a minimum amount of people taking part in a ritual to spread out the wear on one's body. Maybe Pokotho's uniting force was used as a way to help empower and work to finish projects quickly as a group.
Nibilinephem and the harvest was a sacrifice, but not yearly. It was during droughts and the one willing to step up gave up their life so that everyone else could live. Not for wealth but say a lacking material, or something simple, like the rain. Maybe stronger building materials. It could also just have been a bad thing.
Bliklotep was called on to see visions of the future, or to see the world outside the island and learn from what other groups of people across the world were doing. They could pick and choose to make a missmash of technological items that best suited their needs. (Maybe something that CCRP has been trying to continue doing to make more money?)
T'noy karaxis could speed up time which is just very helpful. Or maybe he wasn't a very popular choice anyways and he was just obsessed with a different man who he trapped all the time. Or since he's outside of time he honestly could have just been torturing Ted since forever. He doesn't seem to bother other people until you call on him. Unless you're his Teddy Bear.
Wiggog'ywrath feels like he'd be called on for protection. A powerful God to protect the island. Of course it would be easy for his power to corrupt the user. That's why any time he was summoned there was a requirement of a certain minimum of people taking part to spread the influence out and keep it from concentrating into a big freaking problem.
It seems Webby was already forgotten but part of me likes the idea that she was the go between for the Lords and the people, or she was worshipped by a small pocket of people. She wasn't very powerful, but she was kind, and she didn't need as many regulations on summoning her. She could help keep the bindings of the magic on the people, strengthen their connection to the powers.
And then the hatchet men killed the Starry children and anyone connected to it. They destroyed most of the literature and rituals.
And the book, with what was left, no longer had all those safety measures. People got greedy. The sharing spell became a vampiric stealing ritual.
And now...
Now the Lords could have unrestricted access to Hatchetfield, and then the world started ending.
Tada!!! Please, please reblog this I've been thinking about it a lot and I spent a really long time coming up with this idea. You are allowed to use it if you want just credit that I came up with the initial idea.
Like I've been thinking that this had to come from somewhere. There had to be some reason that the Lords in Black didn't end the world much earlier in the timeline.

What type of did does Icyrain have? Like, are his alters different people or more aspects of his personality? also, do they have names? Is Icyrain the host or just the collective name they all go by?
Tumblr media
Icyrain's DID is very heavily based on my own DID, so I can't really tell you if it's a specific type or not, but below the read more is all the information about him, how he developed DID, and his alters! And this is the reference for how they all view themselves. While fronting in the dark forest, you can occasionally see flashes of their faces, especially when they're emotional. Only First Star feels dysmorphic about being in Icyrain's shape, but that's because he's used to being giant and having horns. Paws has issues walking when fronting because them paws too big.
Icyrain was victim to "kitten snatching", a tactic that started when numbers became scarce in Huntclan. Originated by Ravenstar (and even the tactic used to get Midnightstar, his son), warriors were encouraged to find romance outside of the clan and then kill the partner to take the kits. Sometimes though, they'd find single parents out on the territory to steal from instead. His mother was killed, and he was brought to Huntclan as an orphan at only a moon old. He was cared for only as an asset to train, and he developed DID to protect himself from the rigorous repeated abuse he faced during his "apprenticeship". He's the host and most of the time he's fronting unless something triggers one of his alters to front.
Iris was the first alter to split, being an introject based on distant memories of his mother before he forgot. She's an ideal caretaker, gentle but informative with a natural talent for medicine. Iris cared for the kits until they were big enough because Icyrain had this intense fear of accidentally hurting them. She has the best connection with Icyrain, causing the least amnesia when she switches in. She's often trying to co-front in some amount like a mom watching her kitten play.
First Star split during the intense training sessions he was forced to endure. Based off the idea of the very first leader, a dream Icyrain had frequently about a kind and just but immensely powerful leader. First Star is methodical and skilled in combat but has a very strong moral compass and often polices other alters to ensure they don't lose sight in their morals. He's not very good with words, remaining stoic and aloof. He believes very strongly that there is good in the world.
Paws was split during a very confusing time in Icyrain's life. He had for the most part been able to avoid confronting the situation through dissociation, but to remain unaware of it while trying to raise children wouldn't be ideal. In an effort to not lose that innocence when Icyrain began to confront everything, Paws formed. He's goofy in all the ways that Icyrain lost, obsessed with species of bugs and especially ants. The rest of the system works to protect him, so he doesn't front very often. Think of bug like a representation of the childhood Icyrain lost, able to be protected and cared for despite everything.
Softnight split when Icyrain became tasked with more and more things. He was almost always alone, doing menial or intense work, dissociating during it. Softnight formed to deal with them, working long into the night without much of a word. She's selectively mute and sensitive to noise. She was absolutely thrilled to learn pawspeak, like a part of her had been missing without it. She's unfortunately the least connected with Icyrain, and he has absolutely no memories of what she does.
Icyrain has no word for what he experiences, simply referring to the voices that seemed to stick out from his own thoughts as his "thinking buddies". The body is collectively referred to as Icyrain during life, but in the afterlife, things get a little weird. While they can never separate from him as all part of the same soul, fronting alters can influence the appearance of the soul now that they're not bound to a real body. Quartzpaw and Opalglow learn their names to go along with the flashes of their faces after the initial fright. Lots of "ooooh, that makes sense now" ensues. Opalglow has a bit of a harder time understanding it because she relies on Icyrain emotionally and it makes her distressed when he's not there. Being able to communicate properly helps though, and it does comfort her that she now knows that Icyrain wasn't changing his personality on her on purpose, it was just his alters fronting. Softnight and Opalglow get along. Quartzpaw doesn't notice at all, all of these alters helped raise her, they're all fun playmates. She thinks First star is the coolest guy ever because he's so good at dueling, but he monologues too much before remembering Quartzpaw is deaf. She thinks it's funny to watch him blabber and then look mortified when he remembers.
They're ultimately parts of Icyrain that formed to protect him, and the idea of separating themselves from him make them all deeply uncomfortable. Now that Icyrain doesn't need as intense protection, they're able to both discover themselves and turn their attention to protecting Paws.

Yandere! Talon Du Couteau headcanons
Tumblr media
"More than 100 headcanons"
THERE ARE MY BABY'S HEADCANONS <3<3<3
Probabilities that your loved ones will be killed.
Medium high.
Do not doubt that he is entirely capable of investigating your family or friends simply to have useful information. Considering that he is someone who already has vast experience in investigating people, do not doubt that he is capable of staying up late on several nights just to find out who should “mysteriously disappear” and who should not.
First impressions
Suppose he met you because you came to know his father or his family. He initially ignored you; He wasn't surprised by your presence in his life.
But, then you became interested in getting along with him; It doesn't matter if it's because you wanted a good diplomatic relationship with his family in general or because of a superficial interest in him.
You were the first person outside of his adoptive family to treat him genuinely well; but he tried to get away from you.
(Curious that later it is the other way around)
Fall in love
Even with his insistence that he wasn't interested in you, he ended up being somewhat curious about you.
They slowly began to talk like acquaintances, you were surprisingly kind to him, and more than once you invited him to spend time together.
And he… felt good knowing that he could trust you.
The closer they became, he slowly developed a simple crush. He seems comfortable around you, usually wanting you both to be alone so you can talk or spend time together, and he often lowers his hood when you are both together in a private place.
His family didn't usually involve much in the relationship between the two of you, in fact they cared very little (or at least in these first steps).
Beginning of "Yanderism"
Time passes, and the two become very close. He tells you about the problems he has with his family or his job, and he likes to listen to you when you talk about yours.
He's the kind of person who doesn't realize when or how he fell in love with someone, so… it's the same with Yanderism.
He himself realized late that he wanted something more than just friendship. He tried to repress what he felt, but that feeling took over his entire mind 24 hours a day, which ended up irritating him. One way or another, he ends up confessing, however, when he decides to take the risk, there are two options;
-You accept it: because he is not yet 100% a Yandere, the relationship progresses slowly, just as he slowly develops that obsession with you. In this case, Talon's obsession grows slowly.
-You reject him: Whether for any reason, you end up asking to be just friends. In this case the obsession progresses up to 80% faster than the previous case.
First murder or Yandere act.
In the first case, the only Yandere acts would be following or excessively investigating your family or friends (Something frighteningly common in relationships with Yanderes).
In the second case, it is like the above, but add several things, among them are; murdering your family or friends (especially those who have influence over you), entering your house without your permission (I bet at one point he gets tired of picking the lock and ends up making his own copy of your keys) and a couple of lies that he gives to you.
Relationship or kidnapping
In the first case, he will never end up kidnapping you, unless you discover the research he did on the people around you.
In the second case, he is a little more prone to kidnapping, in fact, if you find out what he did with your family or friends, you will end up in the most obvious way possible.
(Or even if you don't find out, he is capable of resorting to kidnapping anyway)
In case of kidnapping, where would he take you?
A place away from his house, usually in a place particularly located far from the stronghold (or from the Noxian champions in general), of course unless his father finds out, and he gives him the free pass to take you to his home.
Coexistence
In the first case, it is moderately good.
He's not very talkative in public, but with you it's quite different. He talks a lot and can sometimes make you laugh because of the things he tells you.
In the second case, he would be, at least, someone who is quite strict about your behavior.
He doesn't implement the punishment system, he just wants you to get used to being with him, and no, he doesn't usually force you into a sexual act or something similar. The closest thing would be a kiss on the cheek.
(Let him give you a little kiss, even if it's just that, the poor guy suffered a lot and only wants love: c)
Marriage and family.
He is not that interested in marriage, but if it suits your family's diplomatic relations, he would agree. Or ask yourself.
And as for the family… he tends to be measured when he thinks about them, but he usually avoids talking about certain things that he knows about them (Don't ask him, it's better not to cause another disappearance)
And, to add, his family would be quite surprised to know that he got a partner, but Katarina especially would feel happy, thinking that he would be more human by having someone to love.
That is, until she finds out the things he did.
Then those two will have a little talk.
↘If possible, children?
He usually has some fear, even if he doesn't admit it.
He never had a family, in fact he barely has any friends outside of his family, so he is somewhat afraid of starting a family with you.
Or at least at the beginning, when he gets over it I'm sure he'll want to have several (I don't know the specific amount, he'll leave it to his imagination)
Bad ending.
Suppose that apart from the kidnapping, you end up finding out what he did to your family and friends, which ends in a pretty heated argument.
Screams, crying, etc, etc… Many things happened the day or night you found out.
And the more the situation escalated, he lost control of you, and what he talked about (And he hated that happening).
He didn't even know how or why he did it, but he ended up either scaring you or punching you.
In both cases he regrets it almost instantly. He hated that you were afraid, especially of him, but the blow only makes the situation worse.
When he realized what he did, he looked at the wound he gave you, and the hand with which he had hit you.
(And that's his breaking point)
You tried to get away from him, but he soon ended up cornering you, after all he locked you in a room that you couldn't escape from.
Even with screams or hits on your part, he just ended up hugging you, holding his hands on your waist while he pressed his head into the skin of your neck and shoulder.
You hear a small sob, and he doesn't let go no matter how much you try to do something. His skin might be bleeding from the wounds you gave him, but he doesn't let go of you.
You barely shut up, he just whispered a few apologies. Over and over again, he apologizes to you, admitting the hurt he did to you. His broken voice accompanied by his words only showed regret, and he clung to you, because he couldn't help it, even with all the regret in the world, it was very difficult for him to let go of you.
And before releasing you, he whispered;
“I know you hate me, you detest me for what I did to you, or you even want me dead. But I can't help but want to be with you; You provoked something deep inside me, something that I cannot change no matter how hard I try… and I'm sorry." He takes some breath, ragged from crying. “I’m sorry for loving you so much, but this is the only thing I can do to feel human…” his grip tightens around you, “I can’t let you go, and even with all this, I just want to hug you and be with you… even against your will.” He stays silent, and ends up moving his head away from your neck, before bringing his face closer to your cheek. “I love you, (Name), I'm sorry for everything… But it's not going to change anything.” And he closes his dark words with a gentle kiss on your cheek.
Reasons to be Yandere.
-He never felt loved, let's say, until Marcus took him off the street, he was alone, and we are even told in the comic that he is willing to do EVERYTHING so that his father continues to love him, even if that means being a weapon. All of this can become worse if he falls in love with someone.
-His entire current life revolves around being a professional mercenary and assassin, it is inevitable that what he has learned will end up being applied to someone he loves simply to “protect” him.
-Let's agree that he lives in NOXUS, a nation where they are too violent, and he has experienced that violence since he was a child. He doesn't want you to suffer because of it too.
Additional data.
-He is very clumsy at expressing his feelings, especially when it comes to you or his actions.
-It is very difficult to reach a “breaking point” with him, the only way for the bad ending to happen is if approximately 5-6 months have passed where you treated him terribly badly even when he was kidnapped and you have denied him any sign of affection , and then yell at him for what he did to the people you loved.
-In both cases, if you end up giving him even a few cuddles, he sticks to you like a limpet. He can't get enough of you.
-In the case of the relationship, he usually gives you gifts that you like simply for pleasure (It's absolutely not because he is thinking about you almost all day).
-Katarina is the one who cares about you the most; When she found out about what you were going through with Talon (Speaking of both cases), she scolds his brother or tells him how to do things correctly, and although he refuses to take it into account, sooner or later he ends up applying it to see if he earns your keen.
-Marcus cares little to nothing about you, or at least until you start to affect Talon's performance as an assassin (This is if he finds out about the murders or the time he spent investigating you or your family), he would be the one who would agree with Talon kidnapping you, for the simple fact that he that he prefers to avoid the sentimental problems that his son has.
-Soriana and Cassiopeia don't give a shit what Talon does with you.
-Talon is the cold type of Yandere, he doesn't know how to express himself or tell you how much he loves you, so it's hard to decipher what he really thinks.

Dynamic Descriptions
The secondary sex categories or dynamics are Alpha, Beta, Omega, Beta-Alphas or Zetas, and Beta-Omegas or Thetas. A/N: I picked those particular Greek letters because I wanted all the Beta mixed dynamics to rhyme with Beta.
Alpha
Alphas are the instinctual protectors. They are typically willing to put themselves into harm's way to ensure everyone is safe, however, they will only engage in a physical fight if provoked or an unknown person gets too close to their mate or pack; especially if a mate is pregnant.
They have the longest canine teeth of all the dynamics, but they aren't very sharp. It takes intentional force behind a bite to puncture skin so Alphas bare their teeth as a warning more than a threat. The most common kind of fight is over a potential mate, and this is often the only time an Alpha's nails will protract into claws as their instincts are at the forefront of their mind instead of rational thoughts.
Their protective instincts also drive them to want to provide a suitable, comfortable place to live for their pack and mate(s). Alphas will take their time searching for just the right home that is well located to be protected from others as much as possible or will mark their territory to keep strangers away (deliveries have to be left in a lock box at the edge of the property, like a mail dropbox). Some Alpha's will even build or have a house built for their pack or make various improvements to their homes to make it perfect.
Alphas are the most fertile dynamic when impregnating someone.
Female Alphas have Ambigenitalia, both sets of primary sex reproductive organs, and can therefore impregnate others and be impregnated. They have a clitoral penis or a clitoris that when aroused elongates, fills out in diameter and has a knot structure at the bottom. When not aroused, it shrinks to between 6.5 and 12 cm or 2.56-4.72 in, staying outside the body as an enlarged clitoris. Their testicles are internal for most people but some do have theirs drop.
Female Alphas don't ovulate very frequently (typically every seventy-five days) and they're fertile for fewer days then other dynamics, which makes getting pregnant harder unless they get a fertility boost. They also experience some complications with childbirth as they normally have narrower hips than Betas, making them prefer cesarean sections over vaginal birth as they have become more widely available. Due to their body's restrictions, they more often than not only get pregnant with one pup at a time, which works out as their milk supply is below average so some parents could struggle to feed even one pup at times.
Alphas have an Alpha Voice, but they only have access to it while they have at least one mate bond, have several packmates (three or more) or a pup as it only works on closely bonded people or to specifically push dangerous people away from the pack.
Beta
Betas are the balancers, stable workers and main providers. They have the most sensitive noses which allows them to sense shifts in mood and pheromone/hormone levels in those around them. It can also affect them negatively if the space they are in is particularly smelly. Betas can mildly to moderately influence the moods of others, even strangers, depending on their own control of their pheromones. This ability can improve with practice, but typically, the more people in the space the harder it is to influence everyone to the same degree, unless the person is exceptionally good at controlling their pheromones. When bonded they have even more influence over their mate and/or packmates without practice as there is a higher level of trust in the relationship. But whether there is a close bond or not, the influence is short lived, lasting at most five minutes as it is for peacekeeping or to help keep someone calm.
Betas with excellent to exceptional control of their pheromones are capable of producing a nullifying pheromone that can cancel out any other it comes in contact with, basically resetting a space as long as no one else is putting out more pheromones. This is another balancing tool or it can be used to help someone going into heat make a quick escape. This nullifying pheromone, if used correctly, can be turned into a pheromone/hormone combo that can break down the chemical connections that create bonds; something that is completely unique to Betas.
Betas can also absorb pheromones and hormones, which allows them to help to hold off a rut/heat cycle for a few hours; fully stop a cycle that is just starting or end one early; when bonded, some Betas can absorb enough to stop a cycle at any stage. Absorbing has a rebound effect and will push Betas into either a rut or heat cycle of their own some time later. Which cycle and how long it lasts depends on their own biology, what dynamic their mate is (if they have one) and the strength of the pheromones and hormones absorbed. So a Beta who absorbed heat pheromones and hormones from an Omega that were of a moderate strength (someone who wasn't in full blown heat yet) could be pushed into their own heat a day later. This heat could last approximately 1.5-2 days long. Whereas a mated Beta doing the same thing would probably be pushed into a rut cycle for 1-2 days. The ability to absorb pheromones and hormones starts to fade as they reach fecundopause or the end of their fertility. Post fecundopausal Betas no longer have access to this skill.
When sexually satisfied, a Beta's pheromones can boost the fertility of everyone in the immediate area during rut/heat cycles. The effect can become more potent when mated or with control so contraceptives may be needed. Control can also turn this effect down, but there will always be a mild boost, even for the most disciplined. Outside of these increases and a rebound cycle, Betas are normally only as fertile as a regular human would be.
They have the shortest and bluntest canine teeth of all the dynamics, but they're still sharp enough to initiate a bond when enough force is applied.
Betas have elite level stamina. They are the main workforce as they don't have regular heat and rut cycles to throw them off their everyday activities. Having the levels of energy they do allows them to look after everyone else while also being able to do all the work left over during other people's cycles without it being too tiring.
Omega
Omegas are the instinctual nurturers. They nurture bonds, keeping the connections between everyone in the pack healthy and flourishing. They also tend to gravitate towards nurturing children, pets, plants or even all of these at once.
Omegas are the most fertile dynamic when being impregnated. They are prone to carrying more than one pup at a time in each pregnancy, most often twins (identical or fraternal) but larger numbers are not uncommon (around a 25-30% chance of more than twins). Male Omegas are able to do this as they are Bigenitalic or have Ambigenitalia. They also grow more mammary tissue during the pregnancy in order to breastfeed; for most, the tissue will reabsorb into the body after breastfeeding stops and the hormone levels lower, returning to their previous size, but some retain around an A cup of tissue that may or may not increase in size with subsequent births. Both Male and Female Omegas are above average producers of breast milk, helping their multiples survive past infancy.
Male Omega's Bigenitalia means they have a working male reproductive system, but their sperm count is low, even in heat, so impregnating someone else takes work unless they have an outside help with their fertility.
They have the second longest canine teeth after Alphas and they're also the sharpest.
Omegas gain Omega Voice after presenting. Omega Voice is most powerful in situations where an Omega feels that they are in danger of some kind as they would most likely be able to talk their way out of it, however it must be genuine danger and not a threat that is a means to get someone to use their ability. When threatened, an Omega's most useful tools are their teeth, Omega Voice and their claws which will protract if they need to defend themselves. Omega Voice is also useful for calming down unruly pups or overwhelmed packmates: blood related or pack bonded members of a household, community or compound.
Zeta
Zetas are the midpoint between Alphas and Betas. They and their Theta counterparts have the second most sensitive noses after Betas. Zetas have a mild to moderate ability to influence the mood of their packmates, pups and mate(s) with their pheromones, but no ability to influence strangers. This can of course get stronger with practice and control. The closer the bond, the stronger their ability is without refinement, but the easier it is to mess up more complex mood changes. For example, if someone is feeling angry it's relatively easy to pivot to neutral or calm as they're not directly opposing emotions, but more skill is required to push all the way to happiness and not just make the person madder.
Zetas, similar to Betas, can influence the fertility of others in cycle just by using their pheromones. Their ability, however, works at will and only with practice so there is less of a chance of accidental pregnancy, but on the other hand, if a Zeta can't control it they can't give anyone a boost.
Unlike Betas, Zetas specifically can extend someone's heat cycle by producing rut hormones and pheromones out of their own cycle to keep the heat going. This only works on those who are mated, two or more unmated people or between packmates to a lesser extent. Doing this out of cycle will push them into a mini rut, usually for the duration of the time they're helping the person(s) out. Extending a heat has the benefit of making sure mate bonds are in place and healthy for multi-person bonds and ensuring one or more pregnancies.
Their canine teeth are longer than a Betas but just as blunt, so they also can still initiate a bond.
Zetas are in the middle of the dynamics when it comes to fertility as they produce less sperm than Alphas, but more than Betas. This is true even in rut cycles for all primary sexes.
Female Zetas have Ambigenitalia and can both impregnate others and be impregnated. Female Zetas ovulate more frequently than Female Alphas (about every fifty days) and their hips are typically more in line with a Female Beta's, so they are more likely than Alphas to successfully carry a pregnancy. However, they still frequently only get pregnant with one pup at a time; in very rare instances they might have a twin pregnancy, but no more than two pups at a time. One of the reasons is they are slightly below average producers of breast milk, so multiple pups would have a hard time surviving without outside help.
Theta
Thetas are the midpoint between Omegas and Betas. They, like their Zeta peers, have a mild to moderate ability to influence the mood of their packmates, pups and mate(s), but no ability to influence strangers. They can also influence the fertility of others in cycle at will. Thetas can do the opposite of Zetas and extend someone's rut cycle.
Their canine teeth are longer than a Betas but are almost as sharp as an Omegas.
Thetas are also around the middle when it comes to fertility as they're more fertile than Betas, but less than Omegas.
Male Thetas have partial Bigenitalism as they do not have a vulva, but they do have everything else from both sets of reproductive organs. The uterus is still connected to a cervix and a canal, but the canal is connected to the anus and is separated by a wall. The wall is the Epivagina, which keeps the reproductive organs and waste separated by moving to cover the rectum for access to the vagina when aroused which also closes that half of the anal sphincter. Male Thetas and Omegas also have an internal clitoris just inside the vagina.
Both Male and Female Thetas have about a fifty-fifty chance at having one pup at a time or a random number of multiples, but usually no more than four as their hips aren't as wide as an Omegas. They can also be over-producers of breast milk making them the biggest suppliers of all of the dynamics. It depends on how many babies they have to feed and how many other babies they're around if their bodies will go into overdrive. Thetas are generally known to be rather generous with their oversupply of milk as they have enough to go around, maybe even to store some for later. This has earned them the title of "Wet-nurse" and anyone with a newborn, especially multiples, is all too happy to pay a Theta for their milk or court one for their pack as the mammary glands can be stimulated or encouraged to grow outside of pregnancy if needed.
Dictionary
Fecundopause - end of fertility.
Fecund - Highly fertile; able to produce offspring.
Pause - A temporary stop or rest; an intermission of action; interruption; suspension; cessation.

Tarantulas and Nightshade
[Not ship not romantic!!!]
This is such an interesting take on Tarantulas as a character. He isn't plotting or evil, simply an intelligent character looking for peace from a lifetime of hurt. He is reclusive and largely peaceful, but will resort to violence if he believes it is necessary. But overall, he wants to be left in peace and build a life for himself outside of the influence of Autobots and Decepticons alike.
His desire to create a human avatar is interesting as it shows he believes he can't find that peace and fulfillment without changing himself in impossible ways. This is a sadly familiar thought for a lot of people and adds, whether intentional or not, a hint of queerness to his character. The feeling that you are somehow wrong and would be better or safer if your were someone else is something many lgbt people face daily. I believe that also adds to his connection to Nightshade later on.
Tarantulas seems to think that having a human avatar will allow him to have a life he cannot as a cybertronian living on earth. It's unfortunate but very true, if he were to try and live among humans he would absolutely be treated differently unless he found very specific people. We've seen in the show that there is a lot of anti cybertronian sentiment with the humans. Tarantulas isn't wrong for having thought he would be unable to live peacefully with humans but it is very sad. He has been alone for so long and it feels like he wants connection with others but feels that he cannot have that or is afraid of how to achieve that kind of relationship. Which is why his dynamic with Nightshade is honestly so loveable and sweet.
Tarantulas has been alone for a very long time and Nightshade doesn't have anyone in the Malto family who understands them intellectually. Nightshade is able to pull Tarantulas out of his proverbial shell and interact with him on an intellectual level. This is a very much needed relationship for the both of them. They both have things they can learn from one another to help themselves better their own lives.
Nightshade as a character is heavily inspired by the young adult novels that were popping up in the late 90s and early 2000s. It is even referenced in the show with the book series they get in to. Stories about a chosen one and the struggles they face mirror Nightshade's place in their family and their stance as a nonbinary person.
Also present in every young adult novel is the mentor character. That is what Trantaulas is to Nightshade in their episode together. Another interesting thing to note is that what leads Nightshade to meeting Tarantulas is them trying to find the author of the book series. Something that was always very heavy in young adult novels was the concept of fate. So the show is very true to the various source materials by having such a meeting between the two.
Nightshade and Tarantulas share a common dynamic present in a lot of YA novels. Almost every one has a mentor for the "chosen one" who uniquely understands them and it's nice to see that for those two. What is different from the YA trope is that Tarantulas is learning just as much from Nightshade. Tarantulas is teaching Nightshade that they are intelligent and should nurture their scientific mind and Tarantulas is learning to trust people again through Nightshade.
Tarantulas is also very protective of Nightshade after their time together, completely taking on that mentor and almost parental figure in their relationship. This is incredibly important for Tarantulas' character arc because he is so distrustful of others and especially of humans. When he sees Nightshade with Dot and Alex, he assumes the worst and attacks them to try and free Nightshade from their human captors. Nightshade tries to tell him that Dottie and Alex are their "parents" and not bad people, Tarantulas is blinded by his desire to protect Nightshade from bad people and he doesn't listen.
Tarantulas has spent a good bit of time with Nightshade at this point but hasn't learned anything about their human family or siblings yet. Nightshade is young, naive, and kindly. That is all that Tarantulas sees in that moment. He believes he is protecting Nightshade who is being used by the humans and Nightshade has to fight back against him.
When Nightshade is able to get through to Tarantulas, is a very important moment. They are able to open Tarantulas' eyes to the fact that Dot and Alex are parental figures to them instead of captors. Tarantulas then does something super important. He actually listens to Nightshade. Tarantulas places enough confidence in Nightshade's intelligence to believe it when Nightshade insists they are safe with the humans. Which again reinforces their mentor and mentee bond.
By the end of the episode, they have each learned to trust one another. This is a big step for Tarantulas specifically. He's spent so long by himself, hidden away from other cybertronians and from humans, agonizing over wanting a different life. Him learning to trust Nightshade and put real faith in what Nightshade says to him opens up so much for Tarantulas even though he leaves alone at the episode's close. Because even though he heads out on his own, Tarantulas has learned that there are still people, human and cybertronian alike, that can be trusted snd are worthy of that trust. He can finally begin to heal that lonely place in his spark when and if he wants to seek out others.

would y'all happen to know how to handle a persecutor-gatekeeper? our system has one who can force dormancy & switches and trying to find resources on what to do about them hasn't been fruitful. it's not a regular persecutor situation due to their executive control over other alters, and even if it were they're too emotionally closed off to attempt the "appeal to emotions" route. any advice?
(this is rather lengthy but i promise everything i wrote here is important,, as surface leveled, short answers will not cover everything i want to convey)
I'd consider myself a gatekeeper with persecutive tendencies (its the better way to say keeper + persc role for my comfy-ness) and anger issues/holder. As a logical keeper (ISTJ) and ex persc who is also not easily appealed by my own people's 'puppy eyes' and begs, though can be influenced by rage,, I feel qualified enough to tell you my story from how i came up with persecution, what i did in that moment of life, and how i overcame and changed my overall view which renders myself as docile, where i pursuit functionality and etc which made me open this blog for the better of others.
Back then i was a really rude person, though not necessarily causing harm to anyone,, till something sets off the fuse and made me go wrecking some havoc (for short, i've seen how badly my people are doing/coping and as i was never exposed to healthy ways to fix things back then, i resorted to this in order to 'fix' things). I'd hog all the time i had outside at front and never let any friends see my other people, they can beg me how many times they want to and i never let it happen but if i was being nice i'd only give a whole day and back at it again. It's as easy as not doing what i say to push someone to dormancy, creating an environment where there are no such thing as mercy until i achieve the 'ideal' results that's wanted.. or is that what i actually wanted?
Slowly yet surely i begin to notice that my strict and forceful actions did not grow any results,, on this section i don't remember much but got the gist where this is the time i actually tried to loosen the 'ropes' i invincibly tied to my people because i was curious enough if that will generate results. It did. I also shunned down anything they say to me but at that same time i actually took it to consideration. Things are going smoothly because i decided to stop adding unnecessary pressure and ACTUALLY telling what i find troubling and talking it out instead of just bashing their head without a word, not even telling what they did wrong. It took me months to regain everyone's trust because i did an unbelieveable amount of damage that was irreversible,, thankfully i was forgiven. From that period on i dedicate myself to unlearn some nasty ways of doing things, then you can guess the rest from here.
IN CONCLUSION.. If using emotional ways don't work, then opt for logical reasoning. We all have something we care about that contributes to why someone does this or that, the good or bad way. The last thing i wanted to be is being wrong so factual proofs and basic common sense (that punishment doesn't breed better results, things like that) might help. There's one thing that could change me sooner at the past, possibly by asking "why are you doing this?" because i was villainized right off the bat (which was fair) even though i had good intentions. I think showing friendlier ways to achieve the same thing would help putting a stop to the current actions too,, but i want to emphasize that your keeper can't be forced and need to make it's own decision, pushing it is also counterintuitive. This work requires you (your people) and the keeper in need of change, this does not work in one direction/way/party.
If you feel like needing extra help/guidance and get in touch with me to do this step by step, come to the DMs and i'll be happy to provide you with anything, i assume you can take matters in your own hands as i don't want to meddle unless consented, hope it was a-ok day for you!

Your post about writing Regulus as a fully developed person who exists outside of the context of the Marauders was just so satisfying. Because so many fics miss out on the complicated, emotional mess that would come with Regulus getting extracted from a Death Eatery social circle. They generally focus on the family drama which is rich and compelling yes, but totally neglect any platonic messiness. All this to say I love what you're doing with Regulus, Evan and Barty in You Know it's your Blood That I Bleed.
agjslhgjlsdf im glad it's resonating with other people i was really feeling it when i wrote it (i am always feeling those sentiments to a certain degree tbh) - and thank you!!!
imo it's much more compelling and also more difficult and complicated to write a regulus with a real character arc, because character arcs are hard when they involve starting in a place writers may be uncomfortable with, e.g. being a willing member of a group responsible for frequent hate crimes and acts of terrorism. that can be emotionally hard to write and it's a nerve-wracking thing to post where other people can see it
so, like, i totally understand why we see this very flat pure version of regulus so often - it's just also very dull and ignores the most interesting parts of him as a character in favor of making him ✨unproblematic✨
and that gets even more complicated with regulus's friends!! because if you make him friends with other canon death eaters in his generation, unless you just pick like. snape and maybe narcissa and nobody else, then you're in an awkward position because those friends of regulus's may not even HAVE his redemption arc, which makes them yet more complicated to write. do you make all of regulus's friends assholes who he cuts off without a second glance (the easy way out), or do you make genocidal terrorists likable (and risk getting harassed relentlessly for it)? not to mention that you yourself might be uncomfortable acknowledging your ability to imagine the POVs of these characters, which makes it hard to write
that may make people shy away from giving regulus friends in general, along with the whole 'focus on the marauders, nobody else really matters' mentality i talked about a little in my last post (i have so much wrath)
so there are multiple axes - people's devotion to the marauders leading to treating everyone around them as accessories, the emotional conundrum of regulus himself, and the looming specter of internet purity culture lurking behind everything you post. yay!
i'm not saying this to attempt to glorify myself or say i'm ~better~ than the ~nameless hordes~ - these are things i think about a lot and they do influence what i write as well. (it's just that the way that the devotion to the marauders influences my writing is that i feel spiteful about it and devote myself ever more thoroughly to the marauders' era characters who tend to get caricatured. including the marauders)
regulus is not a simple character and that's exactly why i'm so invested in him - and i think there are a lot of people out there who feel similarly, which is why there's such a hunger (that i've observed) for takes on his character that don't make him a powerless, helpless victim who needs to be saved by the marauders.
the whole thing about regulus in canon is that he didn't intend to be helped or saved, even knowing that meant his death - because of that, i think that making him someone with little to no agency, who exists so the marauders have someone pretty to rescue, really strips his character of its essence. he becomes nothing more than sirius's poor, unfortunate baby brother, and that gets old really fast.

I think your ed cosplay pictures are really great!!!
I've been to anime con events before, but i didn't have the confidence to cosplay. But i wanna try it, nothing big at first just with clothes i already have. So uh do you have any advice for a beginner cosplayer?:)
Oh, oh that is so sweet, thank you! I feel flattered that you would approach me about this! I'm not a super experienced cosplayer myself, but I'm gonna do my best to give you some pointers.
Start small--it seems you already got that one lined up! That's exactly how I started too, just using clothes from my closet and maybe a bought item here or there to make the character more recognisable. It's a good strategy because a) you get to try it out and see if you enjoy cosplaying before you put huge amounts of money into it and b) these are your clothes so chances are you already feel comfortable in them and they are familiar, might help you feel more at home.
Now this one is probably a bit dependent on each person's temperament but in the selection of your first cosplays, you can go one of two routes: either you start with a character that is already kind of similar to you/who wears fairly innocuous, everyday clothing. That might help you ease into it, might help make you feel less nervous outside on your way to the con or on public transport, because it'll draw less attention from passersby. It also gives you a slow transition into the habit of cosplaying: you'll see that people's reactions are positive and maybe it's not that scary after all, and then you can gradually go for more elaborate/attention-grabbing cosplays. This is the route I've personally taken bc I also struggled with anxiety and nerves when I first started. The second way is the complete opposite: choose a character that is very different from you/is more attention-grabbing and dive right in--wearing a character and sort of getting into their mindset can really help boost your confidence and create a firm divide between cosplay and non-cosplay that might allow you to leave behind your nerves along with your everyday clothes. That’s something I’m definitely noticing since I started cosplaying Ed—I feel so much more confident as him, I joke around more, even with strangers which I usually would never do. It’s a bit like wearing an armour (ironically), protecting you and letting less anxiety and self-doubt seep through. (This method of course is a bit restricted by point one, but you can still go for a very different style and presence without buying or making a whole elaborate fantastic cosplay)
A more practical thing: I would recommend doing cosplays where you can use your natural hair for the first few times. Wigs can be expensive, they’re a hassle, especially long ones, they take a lot of time and effort to style and maintain, they aren’t super comfortable and when you’re wearing one you’ll be constantly aware of it at first, worried about messing it up (that’s what it was like for me anyway). That’s something I would only tackle once you’ve gathered a bit of experience.
This might be obvious, but it’s one I feel strongly about: Choose a character you love. If you are passionate about the character you’re wearing, if you’re enthusiastic about the source material, that love will show when you’re cosplaying, and people will take notice. Because aren’t we doing this whole thing for the love of the characters in the end? Don't be pressured by fandom trends or what's popular right now. You want to cosplay from an obscure 90's anime that only a few people know anymore? Do it!!! The people who do know it and recognise it will be so excited.
Lastly: Always remember that cosplay is supposed to be fun! I know it’s gotten to be really intense in the last few years, with competitions everywhere and cosplayers outdoing each other with bigger, more expensive, more elaborate, more accurate, more cosplays, but unless you’re aiming to become a big-time cosplay influencer, I wouldn’t worry about that. You don’t need to have a new cosplay for each con. You don’t have to get every detail right. You don’t have to pull all nighters and exhaust yourself to finish a cosplay just because people say con crunch is a part of the “real” cosplayer experience. Just enjoy yourself, and if there’s a part of the cosplay experience you’re not enjoying, drop it. You hate wearing wigs? Then don’t. You can’t wear contacts? Leave them. Just wear your glasses if you need them. Your con experience won’t be fun if you can’t see a thing the entire time. You can’t sew and don’t have the resources to learn? Unless you’re aiming to take part in cosplay contests, bought cosplays aren’t worth any less. (Even then there are starting to be cosplay contests these days that are more about character portrayal where you can enter with bought cosplays as well). There are no hard and fast rules. There’s no wrong way to cosplay. Have fun!
There, I hope this helped you a little bit! These are all just things I can draw from my own experience of course, as someone who’s been around cons and fandom for a long time but only really started cosplaying fairly recently (2019). I’m sure other people would give you other advice, but these are the points I think are helpful.
If there are any specific questions you still have, feel free to ask and I’ll do my best to answer them. I hope your first cosplay experiences will be fantastic! 💕

Idk why but I’m thinking of my dark matter hive headcanon again
I kinda wanna ramble sooooooooo
Okay so best way to compare the dark matter hive mind to is an ant colony.
Zero/zero 2 would be the queen
Specialized dark matter like dark nebula and miracle matter would be comparable to like uhh specialized workers? Queen attendants?
There’s also the drones which are regular dark matters, but also super drones like dark matter swordsman.
Dropping the ant comparison it’s more like a ranking
Zero is on top
Specialized dark matter below that
Below that are the generals (dark matter swordsman)
And bottom ring is the drones.
The dark matter are a hivemind, though the more specialized matters will have a bit more wiggle room when it comes to personality than a regular drone.
Which is why nebula developed such an ego when a standard drone really doesn’t.
Generals have a bit more leeway too but in more of a ‘they have a specialized skill’ so they’re allowed to develop a base personality that improves those skills.
Such as being a cold and cunning general of an army.
Drones tend to not have any personality To speak of, closest they get is a sort of ‘group thing’ sort of thing? They’re like a big echo chamber repeating one another.
Zero of course is their own thing entirely, they are the head of the hive mind so they influence it and aren’t controlled by it.
All dark matter spawns from zero (idk if there’s other instances of zero that currently/can exist but that’s getting into void stuff and I’m not touching that today)
Dark matter can be recycled back into zero if the drone spawns with some sort of defect that they don’t like.
Though some rare cases mutations can be so wild that zero just straight up cuts the drone off of the hive mind and abandons them.
Drones that are cut off from the hive mind tend to die out quickly, unless they find some sort of ‘identity’ to latch onto.
Using gooey as an example. He was quickly found by Rick, Kine, and Coo, so was able to latch onto a sort of ‘curious kid’ identity until the stabilized enough to start becoming his own little Gooey.
In a similar sense (going into more au stuff) dark matter swordsman when he was cut off was able to latch onto the ‘big brother’ roll until he started to settle into his own identity, thanks to gooey finding him.
Though swordsman already had more of a personality to jump from as he was a general and not just a drone, but it still wasn’t much.
Plus I’m pretty sure both he and gooey were ‘defects’ from the start, being a bit too in tune with emotions when compared to other dark matter.
I’ll also go into a dark matter adapting outside of the hive. Using gooey and swordsman as examples, those two had to adapt to all the positive energy coming from dreamland, since dark matter is generally a substance that is destroyed by that sort of thing.
Basically after spending enough time in dreamland they’d get sick as their body’s properly just adapted to the changes. Sort of like when you get a vaccine to prevent you from getting a more serious illness.
Though in this case if they were overwhelmed too quickly their body might just give up and die instead.
But the two were fine so it worked out.
It was also after that instance that the two really solidified their own identities, gooey taking on the blue form he has now and swordsman getting his design I drew up. And the two can now exist just fine in dreamland, like a concentrated love beam isn’t going to kill them anymore. (Might still hurt though)
Though going back to zero, when he died the dark matter hive pretty much imploded, because again, the drones typically can’t survive without their ‘queen’ though the specialized matter and a few generals and very few drones did survive.
I like to think they’re still out there, biding their time to try and take revenge on Kirby.
Good luck with that though have you seen how many friends this guy has now? Lmao

Amity & (briefly Luz's) Strength analysis This is going to be a long post so strap in folks
I noticed this. Did anyone else notice this in canon? Amity Blight never fully went Multi-track. Unless of course, you all count the glyphs her girlfriend shared with her and taught her. From where I stand and have observed Amity herself is limited. The one magic she excels in is clearly Abomination magic without a doubt! She would like to hear how her brother and sister went into multiple tracks.
I noticed in canon that Amity never fully went Multi-track unless you count the glyphs her girlfriend shared with her and taught her. So Amity is pretty limited to the one magic she excels in with that said I think she would be very interested in how her brother and sister went to multiple tracks. (My friend and I both agree she could have learned more spells if she wanted to.) but of course, for that to happen she needed to apply herself or on the other hand, be taught by someone else.
Tumblr media
Sometimes at the end of the day, I wonder if Thorne Vault is the only plant spell she knows from a sports movie no less. After all, She did need to master two spells Abominations and Fire! (I think.) Yet that was only possible through learning to do so with her older sibling's help. They inspired her to try and beat their highest scores. After she learns the fire spell we see her use fire countless times throughout the series. It's yet another example of her reluctance to step outside of her abomination comfort zone (despite being a top student at the time.)
Tumblr media
I've as well as we've all seen her use Luz's glyph. She fails at drawing them herself because she has a reluctance to use her non-dominant hand and it appears to frustrate her more that she cannot seem to draw a perfect circle. (Amity is left-handed that's been seen in canon!) Just like Eda, it seems glyphs just appear to annoy her because she can't get them to do what she wants. Hence why she's so used to abomination magic. As we all know Abominations just do what their creators/masters want.
Tumblr media
I'd even go as far as to say by-golly! Amity here is so used to doing the magic the spell circle way. If you compare that to her drawing a spell circle the way she learned since she was able to conjure magic as a child. Little Miss Perfect is pretty stubborn in her efforts to get things right; Now obviously, it's a learned behavior. It's engrained so deeply in her that she had the smallest light circle when she finally used her dominant hand to draw one in puppet form! (Which while impressive that she did so as a puppet it's also pretty weak.)
Tumblr media
There's a theory I have with plant magic. (I would think) Someone would have to be a nurturing caring person I think meanwhile Amity just molds heaps of magic mud and organic material. Our Willow can do this and so much more. Meanwhile, The first thing that Flower does when she shows up is shrivel and I think it has a lot to do with her influence on Willow and hints she may not be the strongest at plant magic as blights and plants don't mix.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She used to do things just doing what she commands which makes me think. She may not be very great at plants/plant magic? Not to mention how her last name "Blight" as we know is known as a disease upon plants or other living things. From what I have gathered and observed even with glyphs (the titan's magic) Amity visibly appears pretty weak with plants. She even asked Luz in "Reaching Out" this quote: "How do you get it to do what you want?"-Amity. (Even then she's still thinking like an abomination witch. Because I kinda doubt plants are the same way.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This! The thorn vault briefly is the only ever other time (I've) We've seen her use plant-like magic but this time she had her staff to help her. (it's hard to say... It somewhat confirms my thoughts in the way abominations are just masses of muck and muddy organic mass.)
(Don't get me wrong I've seen Amity do some very impressive things it's just that how often has it been out of the strength of her own magic? here clearly using fire and abomination magic combined! She's not all that tough without her brains and ingenuity bailing her out. Had Hunter not been so worn out and with a magic staff he was not familiar with using he could have possibly beat her in the fight.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This young witch's strengths lie in the muck and mud!
Tumblr media
However, it seems her magic is only at its strongest when she is at full energy in comparison to the B-Brawl!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In terms of physical strength, 14 to 15-year-old Amity doesn't appear to be very physically strong either? Willow was able to pull a lever down with one hand! Then you have her childhood friend who despite using two hands struggles to bring an air balloon lever down.
(I suppose this is why Amity's typically the one carried around by Luz a lot of the time. She just did not have the muscle capacity to lift Luz yet, while Luz has had all the practice in the world!)
Tumblr media
(We see Amity lift Luz one time off the ground and it's for a few seconds though that lets us know she got stronger over time!?)
Tumblr media
This is my analysis. (As my muse I write, and I have to find her limitations and strengths this helps me to better myself when a battle or duel is going on. This is how her spells affect her in a 1v1 duel.) (Still one of my favorite shared lines from Gus and Willow is "Luz has a staff." "Why does that make me nervous?")
Tumblr media
Also yes I'd love to do a short one for Luz! Well to cut it short she's very, very talented with glyph magic, and seeing how Stringbean was So powerful when her palisman started to hatch. They may struggle with communicating with each other at first. Through the years until she grows up to the year the time skip epilogue takes place where they have grown to understand each other a lot and found a way to continue the magic.
Tumblr media
We have seen what Luz can do with King's dad's powers. Even how dark her magic is so pretty and deadly I imagine after this experience she and Stringbean became closer. (I would wager) Doing magic in any sort of typical way will probably not be Luz's strongest suit no bile sack and all.

I'd believe you're talking about me but everything I've posted about kinks or that stuff so far is relatively vanilla.
Like don't get me wrong though, I'm fucking weird in that aspect, it just doesn't show yet lmao.
Anyways, you do what you do as long as it doesn't hurt anybody pal! I'm one of your biggest enablers discreetly so yeah, fantasize about anything you want
Haha no you were not one of the people I was somewhat poking fun at for not being more active on my dark horny posting shenanigans. A specific circle of my mutuals which you may or may not have noticed is very necro, guro, etc. heavy. And 2 of them I talk to semi-regularly so I get a little miffed when they don't really interact with my blog often. Though I'm also aware that people have their own lives outside social media and not everyone is without job like myself lol.
LOL if you reblogged any one of my horny posts I'm wondering what would happen w your current followers or new ones, it's definitely a different side of Tumblr (come to the dark side we have cookies)
I love enablers but only for me because I don't trust them with other people at alllll. Like me personally I know the amount of restraint I possess and know to exit a situation if I think I cannot handle it or am being fkn stupid but I can't read other people's minds or know their personal morals and limits and whatever so. A lot of times people are either accidentally or deliberately vague about what is fantasy, what is intent, what is urge and what is plan, etc etc. Which is not a situation I often like to be put in. Direct conflict of personal morals because on the one hand I am very much not a snitch and will not try to therapize, control, or influence people if I'm even a little uncomfortable because my discomfort is not a valid measure of what requires action. On the other hand, I don't want people who don't consent actually getting hurt, I generally don't want harm to come to people (unless they have personally wronged me in which case you can boil them alive for all I care I will not tell a soul) (I'm selfish like that, no one does revenge like I do). But I kind of follow a looser version of how my therapist does it. I can say literally anything no matter how fucked up as long as it is not a stated irl plan with intent to harm, and that includes compulsion and whatnot. it can be a fantasy, compulsion/urge, idea, dream, etc. but it cannot be a plan. also fun fact; therapists are *not required* to report you for murder if you talk about it only after it occurring.
basically: I'm not a cop, and I'm not your dad, and I'm not in any way responsible for anything anyone wants or did. but am somewhat responsible if someone tells me an irl plan with intent to harm. a good therapist (rare) focuses on prevention of real harm while also prioritizing people's privacy and needs and i think that is an honourable example to follow.

~~~
The sixth time they brought Anders back to the tower, she didn’t see him for a year.
They all knew about the cells in the basement, dank and dark and fitted with manacles that they kept clamped around your extremities all hours of the day. But she’d always thought it was a warning, a legend, told to apprentices without any real evidence, just to keep them in line.
Until Anders came back, looking more like a bundle of toothpicks than a person. There were bruises around his wrists and ankles and his cheeks were so sunken, she could see every bone in his face. When he first reappeared, Neria froze, unblinking and disbelieving. She lifted a hand to brush at his mottled face, but he caught her arm and yanked it back to her side.
“Not here,” he hissed. “The back closet, upstairs, half a bell past supper.”
So that was where she went.
The closet was filled with robes, ceremonial, she surmised, from the various gilded accoutrements and the plastic casing that protected them from mothballs and general wear. There was hardly room to breathe, but she slipped between the hangers with some confusion, until a hand wrapped around her ankle and yanked her to the floor.
There was next to no lighting in this space, but it didn’t matter. The image of bruises blossoming across Anders’ jaw was seared in her memory, whether she was seeing it in real time or not. She wasn’t as successful in taming her outraged, anguished expression either, based on how Anders pursed his lips and avoided her gaze.
“It’s hardly unexpected,” he muttered. “Six times? I’m luck I haven’t gone under the brand yet. Greagoir’s influence, I suppose, or Sol.”
“Or both.” Neria cupped one hand against his jaw, giving him a moment to refuse. When he didn’t, she summoned the healing magic; hardly her specialty, but she knew enough to ease this particular ache. The blood vessels calmed and his skin returned to its usual alabaster shade. Anders sighed, catching her hand before it could fall and tracing the lines of her palm almost absentmindedly.
“I’m going to try again.”
She wished she could say she was surprised. But those who didn’t learn from history were doomed to repeat it, and Anders was nothing if not an ostrich with his head buried in the sand. She flipped their hands so she was tracing his palm instead, and sighed.
“Of course you are. Don’t you ever worry about what will happen when you’re caught? Cause you know they will. Unless you can destroy your phylactery before you go.”
“Seems like that would only draw attention. And I’m sure they’ve got mine in some super special vault at this point.” Anders scoffed. “There has to be a way to get far enough that their tracking spell won’t register.”
“You’d have to go to the Marches, at least. Or Tevinter.”
“Tough trek to make alone,” said Anders, and if it had been anyone else she might have missed the catch in his voice. But she knew what Anders sounded like when he was causal, and this was faked, at best.
What was he playing at?
“Might be easier with a plan. Or an extra set of eyes.”
Oh. That’s what he was getting at.
“That is a spectacularly awful idea. Possibly the worst you’ve ever had. And that’s saying something.”
“Please Ria. I…don’t think I can do this without some help. Without you.”
His voice was scraped raw, desperate with the years spent caged and the brief glimpses of freedom he’d stolen. The stories he’d told her of life outside the Circle tugged at her heartstrings; but she’d spent so much time balancing his extremism with Solona’s loyalism. This would be like choosing sides, like choosing one friend over the other, something she’d managed to avoid all these years. And…
“This tower is all I know,” she said softly, not meeting his eyes. “It is one thing to listen to your stories, to read about places and adventures in books. Living them out is something else entirely—Maker’s sake, I’ve never even been off this island, Anders.”
He opened his mouth, and then closed it, thinking on what she’d said. However dim and tainted with bitterness, Anders had memories of a life before the Circle. He remembered his parents and the small cottage they’d shared, the children he used to entertain in the village square, walking barefoot through the rolling farmland that surrounded it, and so many other sensations that Neria couldn’t even imagine.
She knew nothing more than the cold stone and drafty corridors of Kinloch Hold. And if you believed the Templars, she never should.
Anders grabbed both of her wrists, sliding his hands down to intertwine with her fingers. His were bony and raw from his time in chains, and they dwarfed hers as they always had. He squeezed, firm and steady.
“There’s people out there who will help us. Not everyone agrees with the Chantry and the Templars, no matter what they say. Enough of the network knows me now—we could get halfway to Amaranthine before the search party hits the mainland.”
He brushed his thumbs lightly over her knuckles. “Think about it, Ria. Freedom, real freedom with no walls or guards intruding on your privacy. Freedom to choose where to go and what to do whenever you want. Freedom to…wear pants, and eat properly seasoned food.”
A snicker slipped past Neria’s pressed lips, but she couldn’t deny the temptation to sit cross-legged outside the confines of their bedroom.
Anders released her hands and moved his back up her arms, clasping her shoulders with pressure enough that she finally looked at him again. His eyes glowed with anticipation and yearning and unrestrained pleading, even sunken as they were, and an undeniable note of sincerity lined his voice when he spoke.
“You won’t be alone,” he promised.
Her heart stuttered, for he’d touched on the fear she couldn’t voice. She’d never been alone, not in all of her memories, because no mage was ever alone in the Circle. But all the space and freedom that made the outside world enticing, also meant the space and freedom to fail. And out there didn’t have a safety net of Templars or senior enchanters when things went awry. Plus, she might not be alone, but—
“What about Solona?”
“You can’t tell her,” he said immediately, straightening up and pressing a finger to Neria’s lips when she started to protest. “You know she’d go straight to Irving, and he’d go straight to Greagoir. What would be the point, anyway? It’s not like she’d go with us.”
“I know, it’s just….” Just that Solona was the closest thing she had to family. Could she walk away without notice from the person she’d shared nearly every memory with for over a decade?
“Please Neria.” His voice cracked and shattered like a window under an escaped force blast. “You deserve so much more than this stone prison and I have to go—I’ll break if I stay here. And there is no one else I trust enough to go with me. Please.”
Neria bit her lip and looked down again.
There is no one else I trust.
Solona might be her dearest friend, but Anders held a piece of her heart as well—and his escapades had made him a pariah among most of their peers. Solona would be angry and disappointed if Neria left her….but Anders would be dead, or worse.
Cold, steely resolve tightened around the fear in her throat, drawing it down until the anticipation and excitement hiding underneath rose to the forefront. It must have shown on her face, for Anders’ uncertainty vanished and a triumphant grin stretched his lips. He lifted her wholly onto his lap and buried his head in her shoulder, so her chin rested against the greasy strings of his hair.
“Where do we start?”
