You want a love that consumes you. You want passion, adventure, and even a little danger.
When I am with him, it just consumes me.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I will always choose you. I love you and I will love you until I take my last breath on this earth.
Cause I am on fire like a thousand suns, I couldn't put it out even if I wanted to. These flames tonight, look into my eyes and say you want me too like I want you.
Promise me this is forever. I promise.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain and it's 2 am and I'm cursing your name. So in love that you act insane and that's the way I loved you.

As Damon and Stefan parallel Dean and Sam in so many ways, I find it fitting that the Lost Salvatore Brother would have an A name just like Adam.
The brother lucky enough to not grow up under their father. Who was spared of all the torment that came with that.
I’ve selected Archer. Archer Salvatore. The lifeline that kept the Salvatore bloodline flowing. If only we ever got to meet him…

I do think it's interesting that when Bonnie's testing her magic by trying to light a candle she ends up lighting a room's worth of candles instead but never ends up starting accidental fires like yes she's powerful but she's still in control

Do you think if Bonnie was the one to become pregnant with hope instead of Hayley that Elijah would’ve fell for her? I honestly think it’s possible because how could you not? But It would be so much different especially cause klaus would be in love with her too which would make things more complicated and Bonnie would probably not want to go through what elena went through with the Salvatore’s😭 platonic Elijah and Bonnie would be a cool duo but based on the originals, Bonnie is also his type.
Elijah has 3 types
Bad bitch WOC
Petrovas
Women who have been with Klaus
Tumblr media
Who wouldn’t fall in love with Bonnie? How can you not fall in love with her! I’m in love right now. Elijah does have a track record of dating women of color too when you consider TO. He doesn't fall in love with them solely for being women of color. This isn't fetishization. He just has a diverse taste in women which is very different from his history with Petrovas.
Tumblr media
Elijah has a tendency to betray people when they don’t fit in with his agendas. Elijah has betrayed Bonnie twice. Once after he sought out Bonnie to fight his brother. Then again with Abby’s death. Elijah is to blame along with the Salvatore’s. Exploring that distrust Bonnie had with Elijah would be very interesting in a Klonnie sense. How can she trust him after he’s shown he does not value her the same way the Salvatore’s has done.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Klaus loves knowing that Bonnie doesn't like Elijah. He is fully aware that his brother might yearn for or pine for Bonnie but she would never be interested in someone so two-faced. For as destructive and evil as Klaus is, he's never pretended to be anything but himself. He knows who he is. Elijah masquerades as a noble gentleman. Bonnie naturally gravitates towards a more "sensible" brother (e.g. her early friendship with Stefan), but Elijah lacks the remorse that the Ripper does.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Final thoughts I’ve always found this an interesting parallel whether this was intentional or not because of how undervalued Bonnie is. Bonnie has been wronged by many people including her friends which people do not acknowledge. Yes, the MFG does cause Bonnie pain just as much as the enemies in the show including both of her love interests but Bonnie is just as deserving of being explored. Keep in mind how intertwined the Bennetts are throughout TVDU.

Outside of Elijah/Klaus (cause there was absolutely 0 reason both of them died), which character in all of TVDU do you think had the most unnecessary/dumb death?
Honestly Klaus and Elijah aren't even in my top. Yes, both of them dying was dumb, but there are so many other death's that were more unnecessary. At least Elijah and Klaus made it to the end of TO.
Some honorable mentions: Hayley, Tyler, Gia, Josh, Enzo, Jo, Lexi, Sophie, Eve, Jesse, Aaron, Aya, Jackson, all of the hybrids, Carol, Henry, Celeste (first time), Genevie (first time and kind of second time). I'm sure there are more.
But my most unnecessary/dumb death is Cami O'Connell.
Tumblr media
There was zero reason for her to die and it was because she wasn't meant to die. I firmly believe she was meant to be the school psychologist in Legacies. It would have made so much sense for her to be there for Hope after Hope lost so much of her family. It also would have allow a woman on the show to have a happy ending that wasn't centered around a man. Her happy ending would have been watching over Hope and helping all of the supernatural children, fulfilling her family's destiny.
Cami still had so much of a story left to tell. She was so young and full of promise. She lost her entire family due to the supernatural world and then was forced into it herself. If anyone in TO is a parallel to Elena, it is Cami. Her family legacy was so entrenched in the supernatural that it was only a matter of time before she herself was pulled into it.
Even her death made no sense. Lucien wanted to hurt Klaus for 'stealing' Aurora from him, but at that point, Lucien had the ability to kill Klaus. Sure, maybe he wanted him to suffer, so why not go after Hope? She was out in the bayou essentially unprotected (let's be honest, what could Mary have done?).
Even if we accept Lucien wanted to make it even by taking away Klaus' love, how did they not save her? Like two days later the entire Mikaelson gang is bitten and Freya just magically thinks of a way to freeze them and save them all? They couldn't have thought of that a little quicker? It's funny how they always manage to think of life saving magic when the plot/Mikaelsons require it, but there's no other options when it comes to sacrificing other characters.
Even if we accept that she died, they really didn't even make an effort to bring her back? Davina was able to be brought back from the dead after her soul was shredded. I know the other side was gone at that point, but let's not pretend the show didn't just bring back characters with very little rhyme or reason. The Mikaelsons didn't even attempt to find a way to bring her back.
And no one even say it was to help Klaus' character development. I hate when women are killed to further a man's development. It was clear in the writing that Klaus still needed Cami for his development. He was just at the brink of trying to be a better person, he was nowhere near done. We can clearly see this in the amount of scenes Hayley becomes ooc in order to be Cami for Klaus. Or Caroline coming in season 5, which made no sense, was clearly meant to be Cami.
Cami was an O'Connell and this meant something in New Orleans. People who claim her character was just a love interest were not watching. Her character was going to unite New Orleans. Not Hayley, not Hope, and definitely not the Mikaelsons. Every faction adored her. Marcel and Vincent loved her and would have done anything to keep her safe. The Mikaelsons each loved her outside of her relationship with Klaus. She would have always been a mother figure to Hope, no matter what her relationship was. Hayley loved her as well. We don't see her interact with the wolves too much but that's because they were largely forgotten in the writing. But every faction loved her and respected her. Her legacy was fixing the war in New Orleans. Which I love the writers just kind of dropped and everything magically go better when the Mikaelsons left, even though the war had been going on longer than the Mikaelsons were there.
The writers had not planned to kill her off but because of the toxicity of the fandom, they killed her off. This is just bad writing. They writers often cared more about ratings than the actual art of story telling and the show suffered because of it.
Thanks for the ask! What other deaths do you all think were unnecessary?

still on my stefonnie bullshit and i can’t stop thinking about how much they mirror each other.
stefans mom abandoned him and damon only to start a new family with the heretics as her children (stefan went on to date one of them). bonnies mom abandoned her only to adopt jamie (bonnie and jamie dated for a few episodes).
stefans dad was emotionally distant and had high expectations for him (re: being against vampires). bonnies dad was emotionally (and physically) distant and had high expectations her (re: expression arc)
stefan and elena broke up because elena had feelings for someone else. bonnie and jeremy broke up because jeremy had feelings for someone else. (both are victims of emotional cheating and ironically were done dirty by the gilbert siblings).
stefans ripper arc started due to his desire to protect damon and elena. bonnies expression arc started due to her desire to save jeremy. both ended up attacking their loved ones (namely elena), were isolated from the friend group, and were manipulated by the main villain of the season (in stefans case klaus, in bonnies case silas).
stefan spent the summer in between season 4 and season 5 drowning in a safe. bonnie spent the summer in between season 4 and season 5 dead. neithers absence were noticed until months later.
season 5’s storyline was literally started due to their ancestors (qetsiyah and silas) having a long and complicated history together that was so deep that affected the supernatural world as a whole.
they had the same morals, same general outtakes on life, were the two main people making sacrifices for the group, and got the two worst endings of the main tvd characters. you’d think they were written with the intention of being twin flames/soulmates of some sort with the sheer amount of parallels you can find between them. their friends to lovers arc would’ve been one of the best to come out of the TVDU if the racist ass writers weren’t insistent on excluding bonnie from things (from storylines to romantic/platonic dynamics) that she should’ve been apart of.

https://www.tumblr.com/cancerian-woman/742418693542264832/the-parallels-between-tyler-and-klaus-are-actually?source=share
I think both Tyler and Marcel get hate because people love the main characters of the shows that they’re in. In Tyler’s case, Klaus was a main villain and had that little stint with Caroline, so it really didn’t matter what evil shit Klaus did to deserve Tyler’s hate, he was gonna be hated regardless. Even in TO, because The Mikaelsons™️ were the main characters, Tyler trying to kill that werewolf girl is vilified even though she deserved it. Same with Marcel, even though he wasn’t always right, he was right most of the time and justified in his feelings towards Klaus and the family, but because he was against the Mikaelsons™️, people hated him. There’s also the fact that he’s black and Tyler also doesn’t look white, but the fandom isn’t going to acknowledge the racism at play, ESPECIALLY when it comes to Marcel, considering he was literally a slave and Klaus constantly used that against him, but the fandom ain’t ready for that conversation (they literally tried to gaslight someone who brought up the subtle racism in the way Klaus talks to Marcel, let me link it).
https://www.reddit.com/r/TheVampireDiaries/comments/1643ll4/klaus_was_lowkey_racist_for_saying_this/
But I think Marcel is a little less hated in TO compared to Tyler in TVD/TO due to the fact that he had better writing and an actual storyline going for him. Tyler was only there when convenient and I think Plec didn’t know what to do with him.
Reddit is hell. You aren’t wrong either. One TVDU fans will always deny racism ingrained in the plot bc godforbid their favorite show has some negative connotations. I want to add in Elijah and Hayley are just as guilty (if not all the Mikaelson’s) of having some racist/and or derogatory dialogue to Marcel.
Second point Tyler from season 1-4 alone had the development people think Damon/Klaus had. However, whenever you give Tyler any sort of praise for NOT taking that abuse from Richard/Klaus copying that behavior. People will mention how Tyler tried to kill Hayley and unborn Hope to lessen his development. As if Hayley and Klaus didn’t deserve that shit.
It’s irritating as hell Tyler was the introduction to werewolves. Most of that was off screen but we do see how adamant Tyler is about freeing these hybrids from their sirebonds and slavery to Klaus. Just for them to die and for Hayley to get a full push as this werewolf queen who cares about everyone. While never acknowledging her past.
Michael Trevino will forever have one of the best werewolf transitions I ever seen. Nobody compares 🤷🏽‍♀️.
