Look I don’t care if it’s copied or not- Sam and Dean and Damon and Stefan dying and ending up in heaven together is everything to me. Damon din’t stay with Elena, he went to Stefan. Sam died and went to Dean, not his wife who we can imagine is dead (or Jess).

Like- I still can never get over the fact that Sam and Dean are soulmates and if Jack hadn’t changed Heaven, they would have still ended up in a shared heaven, but that they still do after? Beautiful.

Damon letting go of Elena so they can both be with their family? The call back to “Hello brother”, the hug?! (Look I’m admittedly still starting with TVD but your girls been spoiled about everything and idc, I’ve watched that scene and cry, and when I actually get too it in the series I’m going too cry harder)

Jensen and Jared, Ian and Paul, portraying the relief and happiness of finally being together again, I love them so much. It also such a sad/beautiful moment when you realize it was the last scene of both their shows, the behind the scenes of both of this make me cry so much as well, especially when they don’t exactly let go yet, that realization of its all over, and their still clinging to it. (Ian and Paul still hugging, Jared not letting go of the bridge-)

Damn this shows with their beautiful brothers and their relationships that make me want to cry

Stefan punching Damon in the face was soooo satisfying but it really irritates me how he still looked smug about it. Not one shred of remorse for kissing his brother's gf and making moves on her ALL SUMMER while Stefan was an indentured servant to Klaus AND sabotaged taking him out just to save his ungrateful maladjusted older brother.

Like Damon acting smug in regards to Elena has been a theme throughout. which is why I don't get how people genuinely like Delena. A big part of him pursuing Elena has always been to stick it to Stefan by "getting the girl" this time, all because Katherine didn't pick him a century ago (and who can blame her)

Will never understand the needless morality logic Stefan stans place around their love for Stefan (which only ever seems to exist to hate on Damon). I will always prefer a man that kills for an emotional reason over a man that kills just due to the lust to kill. Bloodlust is a desire just as much as “I killed him because I wanted to”-Damon always kills for humanity/emotional reasons. It’s just that stefan denies that bloodlust is a desire, while Damon admits his desire. Will always prefer a man that owns his flaws instead of denies them. I guess it’s my personal emotional bias, that denial of flaws imo is less redeemable than reveling in one’s flaws (Damon). Denial of flaws (and looking down on other’s) is the whole basis of the Christian white supremacist b.s. I’ve lived under my whole life.

The parallels of Damon & Stefan and Dean & Sam aren’t discussed enough.

Brothers who grew up with a toxic father and a beloved mother who died far too soon. They were separated when the youngest was just barely entering adulthood, leading to an estranged relationship for many years. The baby brother developed an addiction to blood. Older brother can be overprotective and have the tendency to treat the younger like a child. They have several big fights over the years but always defend one another. The older brothers lost their childhood to protect their baby brothers.

The older brother is sarcastic and brooding, with a semi-alcohol problem. They’re obsessed with their car that they refer to as “baby”. They’re not afraid to get their hands dirty. Their younger brothers are nerdy and try to do “the right thing”. Often the voice of reason but also naive.

Dean is by far a better brother and would never hurt Sam the way Damon did Stefan. And still, they have a lot in common.

Also, the initials alone. Down to the older brothers starting with a “D” and the baby brothers starting with an “S”. The little brothers have nicknames that only their big brothers call them (Stef and Sammy).

If not for the Salvatores being vampires, they’d probably get along with the Winchesters.
