Currently thinking about female Stefan and Damon. Currently thinking how Damon would become a mother figure to Stefan after Lily died, them gossiping about the men in town, Damon arguing with Giuseppe because she hasn’t wed, them becoming vampire, them luring men to feed on. I’ve said female Stefan would be an unstoppable force but female Damon? Could probably give Katherine a run for her money.

I’m currently thinking about them sharing (stealing) each other’s clothing, accessories, shoes, make-up; etc. Thinking about how F.Damon would help F.Stefan get dress for the school dances and founder events. Imagining them fighting about the other’s lifestyle.

I’ve also already said that if Stefan had been a girl, hers and Damon’s relationship wouldn’t have been so strained. If they were both girls it could still go either way.

Imagine if Stefan had also been captured by Augustine back in the 50s? Maybe at the same time as Damon or two years after. Both of them realizing that the other is trapped there? Both going through torture and doing anything so the other doesn’t get hurt? Stefan probably being forced to drink human blood because I highly doubt they’ll care enough to give him animal blood.

Somehow I feel like their relationship will get better, being stuck in there for those years they probably argued about all their problems and realized things about each other and understanding why they did things. I also imagine Stefan would get to know Enzo and by the time Enzo does his plan (Damon still winning), Stefan would also give Damon his blood. The difference is, by the time of the escape, Damon wouldn’t risk leaving Stefan behind; so saying he successfully got Stefan out but not being able to get Enzo in time. Damon NOT turning off his humanity so he doesn’t risk Stefan and leaving with the guilt that he left Enzo behind to save himself and Stefan.

There should be more fics of Damon practically babysitting Stefan and his friends. Obviously canon divergent and probably no Delena but just- Damon coming home to see Stefan, Elena, Bonnie, Caroline, Matt and Tyler all playing games or something, and he acts annoyed but makes sure they have snacks and drinks all the time. If they stay for a sleepover he makes sure all of them have pillows and blankets and makes sure they stay in a guest room if necessary. He makes them amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner and he probably packs them all lunch for school. He knows what all of them like and don’t like, what they are allergic to, etc.

And he acts like he doesn’t care but he totally does

Damon with de-aged Stefan.

He would pick Stefan up and never let him go, especially if Stefan is de-aged to a toddler. He probably buys him matching little kid outfits and spoils him with toys, makes sure his eating well, drinking blood, takes him to the park, etc.

If Stefan gets aged-back Damon would act like nothing happened and that he only cared about Stefan because he was a little vampire that could get them in trouble, but Stefan knows damn well that Damon was the happiest he had been in a while with him

I’ve read a lot of ‘Character’s dead bad/abusive parent comes back to life for a few days’ or fics around those line, I even wrote one with John Winchester.

But now I just can’t help but think of Giuseppe coming back for a few days. And is even more perfect is he is a few weeks before he guessed Katherine was a vampire/everything happened. Just imagine his suddenly transported into the Salvatore Boarding house and everything is strange because his from 1864 and is around 2009, and he finds Damon and Stefan who are instantly on edge, Damon absolutely hates the man and Stefan literally killed him. And it probably wouldn’t take long for Giuseppe to figure out their Vampires and probably try to kill them.

The potential there is for this to go anywhere. And also the Defan content potential. Damon instincts to protect Stefan going haywire because his back? Stefan always staying close to Damon because he realized how Giuseppe really treated him? Them protecting each other? So much potential and I’m so sad I’ve never seen a fic like this before
