okay so anyone who uses tumblr savior to block tags:

with the new layout, every time you refresh your dash you need to go into tumblr savior and hit save for it to actually apply for Some Stupid Reason this also applies if you have the dashboard fixer script.

(i don't know how many people still use tumblr savior - i've just had it for years and find (found?) it more convenient than the inbuilt tag blocker since it's right there in the toolbar, just. letting you know)

My tumblr just updated and I don’t like it :(

Instead of getting things on my fyp that are similar to the things I like, I get WAY less of that and the rest of it is stuff the people I follow reblog.

In itself that wouldn’t be a problem, BUT, blogs get the freedom of reblogging whatever the fuck they want, so I see THAT instead of the fyp I carefully curated.

Now instead of being happy when I scroll I get annoyed.

(Just wanna say that everyone gets to renlog what they want, just saying that I follow blogs for the stuff they post and I’ll check those blogs regularly, I feel like tumblr is forcing stuff down my throat with this new fyp)

ALSO

If one of the blogs I follow reblogs something I can’t press ‘not interested’ the only option I have is to block that user which I don’t wanna do!

I just feel at a loss, I hate change and now I’m gonna have to put in the effort to be okay with the change that happened knowing how much more I enjoyed the before:(

@staff could you please fix your ads and make a « visit site » button for mobile ? I keep accidentally clicking on this Maltech ad on mobile, so much so that it’s in my damn recommended « favorite » sites. Make your app scrollable again ! (I understand the need for revenue in ad form but pls this is just poor mobile web design)

Tumblr, if you're going to have some sort of notification about my browser not being good for your site, you need to have it visible. All I see is purple 'LOG IN' covering the yellow notification box I can't move. So, I can't see whatever the rest of it is. OR keep the notification box after I log in so I can read it. I'm not mad, just want to know what it said and what I could do to fix the issue.
